Open Mankai, Sange: A Yuki Yuna Is A Hero RP

"Agreed," Rin answered, swallowing. She couldn't believe it. Even with the use of mankai, Daniel had ended up totally incapacitated at the hands of the vertex. She dreaded to think about ehat would happen to Andalusia's heroes now. Would Daniel be summoned to the Jukai? Or would Raùl have to go without a hero until he got better?

"Be careful," Daniel warned, "And if possible, try to kill any vertexes it brings with it, or else it'll fuse, and you'll end up being fucked over like me"--

"Take it easy, Daniel," Raùl instructed, "You've been through a lot. You should rest."

While Daniel got settled, Rosalia left. "I suppose I'd best get training," she said gruffly, "I can't let England become vertex bait!"

Yosuki turned to Raul. "How long do you think it will be before Leo attacks Japan?" He asked him. As much as he'd like to stay, they needed to find out how much time they had to prepare before the attack.

"There's no data about it," Raùl answered, "All of the attacks thus far have been totally random, or so it seems. There's no pattern to the way these things come at all..."

"We'll deal with them when they come, just like any other vertex," Rin said gruffly, "It's all we can do."

"Should we go home now then?" Yosuki asked Rin. "I think that if we don't know when exactly it is coming, we should be home to defend against the attack when it comes. But you are technically the leader of our little group." He said

"Maybe that'd be best, even if just for convenience," Rin answered, "No matter where we are when Japan is attacked, we'll always end up back in our area of the Jukai, but we'll have left our stuff here...."

"Yeah." Yosuki said he turned to Daniel. "I hope you get well soon." He said. He said his goodbye to Raul before leaving the room. "Yuzuki, we have to leave." He said.
Yuzuki nodded, grabbing her brothers arm

Rin left in silence, head spinning with thoughts of that vertex. Daniel was supposed to be an exceptional hero. He had a higher aptitude than anyone else, and yet, he'd still ended up like that. She dreaded to think what would happen to her, a hero who'd just barely avoided becoming a sentinel...

Yosuki and Yuzuki went back to the hotel room. Yuzuki was already packed as she didn't unpack before going sight seeing. Yosuki put his stuff into his bag. "Okay." He said to himself

After a while the crew arrived at the airport. "Okay, looks liked this is the flight that will leave the soonest." He said pointing to a list of planes. The plane that was going to japan was due to leave in about an hour. That gave them time to check there bags and get to the gate in time to board the plane.

(Are you reading the KuMeYu series? It's sooooo good! The wait for the next chapter is killing me!!!)

"Right. We should get our things ready for customs," Rin answered, bagging her toiletries, and removing her earrings. Her hellebore pin stayed in, however, as she didn't want to lose it. Being blind, simply putting it in was quite a task.

(Wait what is it and where can i read it?)

Yosuki and Yuzuki took of their stuff. Yuzuki's necklace and Yosuki's watch and the such like that. After getting through, they waited patiently for the plane

(It's the fourth part of the Yuusha De Aru series, set after Washio Sumi, Shiratori Utano, and Nogi Wakaba. You can find it translated in English on the Yuki Yuna subreddit. Full title is 'Kusunoki Mebuki is a Hero)

The gates opened soon enough, and passengers were called into the boarding lounge, and then onto the plane back to Niigata, Japan. Rin sat down quietly, offering hard peppermints, and some of her precious gummy candy.

(Wait. So what about the Yuki Yuna sequel? I thought it was supposed to be Washio prequel and then the sequel to yuki yuna with the original characters + Nogi.)
Yosuki took a peppermint candy while Yuzuki munched on gummy candies with Rin.

(The second season of Yuki Yuna isn't out yet, and Nogi Wakaba was kind of a side story, set two hundred years before Yuki Yuna. Kusunoki Mebuki takes place at the same time as Yuki Yuna, and it will apparently run alongside the second season of Yuki Yuna. Only three chapters are out so far, though...)

"I gotta get Raùl to send more of these magical things to me," Rin remarked, snarfing a mango candy, "Y'know, if Andalusia doesn't fall to the vertexes..."

She couldn't help but spare a thought for Daniel. With time, he'd heal, and learn to walk again, but until he did, Andalusia was down one of its best heroes. Would a replacement be hired? Or would Raùl and the others simply have to do without? Plus, Rosalia was England's only working hero, at present. She faced the duty of protecting her entire country alone, but could she really manage?

(Oh shit, that's lit)
Yosuki just stayed quite. He was busy thinking of what he needed to do to prepare himself. He was lost in thought for quite a while.
"Yeah, these are so good!" Yuzuki said. Despite only being 12 she was pretty mature, so she decided to try to keep the possibility of the downfall of Spain and England out of her mind.

(KuMeYu might be one of my favourite ones so far! It's...Almost as good as Nogi Wakaba XD)

Raùl received no help from the rest of Spain's seventeen hero groups. The leader of Catalonia's hated him, as did most of Basque Country's...And the various Taisha divisions were tremendously selective about candidates. Only the very best of the lot would do, as had always been the case for heroes.

"Maybe the Taisha will make someone fill in for Daniel. Or maybe, they'll choose another hero altogether," Rin mused aloud.

"I have no idea what they will do." Yosuki said pulling his head out of the clouds. "At this point all we can do is hope for the best."
Yuzuki nodded. "I hope Daniel-San is going to be okay." Yuzuki said

"As do I," Rin answered, "If not for Raùl, then for the good of Andalusia, at least."

With nothing of merit that she could do, at present, Rin decided to sleep for the rest of the journey.

As the plane touched down and the crew stepped off the plane, Yosuki stretched. "The seats in a plane are either really good or you'd be better off sitting on some bricks. There is no inbetween." He said
Yuzuki giggled at what her brother said. "That's true." She said

"Yuzuki and I are going to head home." Yosuki said to Rin. "We are gonna take a taxi. Do you need a ride to your place?" He asked while the younger girl clung to him

"I'll take the train," Rin answered, "It's the cheapest way back to my place."

The young hero had to learn to be independent without her eyes, and possibly other things, if this ultra powerful vertex came soon. Mankai was inevitable when facing it, that she knew.

Yosuki smiled. "Okay." He said before calling a taxi and going home with Yuzuki. At home, Yosuki let Yuzuki sleep in his room while he layed out a futon in his studio/office room before the both of them fell asleep

Rin managed to catch a train home, snuggling up next to her giant cinnamoroll plushie, before she fell asleep. Her two fairies popped out, keeping a careful watch over their mistress all evening. The sentinels would be back from their mission, soon, and they didn't want them waking the hero.

Rin awoke early, deciding to head down to a specialist training centre, for one-on-one training.

She selected a recently-added exercise, which depicted a simulation of stardusts coming at her, which she could destroy with her own weapons. She chose her sabre, and slashed it, seemingly at random around the room, destroying the lesser vertexes one by one.

She then switched to her kusarigama, throwing it, pulling the dummy vertexes in close, and striking them with the scythe end. She kept going until she could kill the dummies within seconds.

"Oh, hey, you're up," Rin remarked, when she heard him coming, "At last, anyway. One of us has gotta take their hero duties seriously."

The room was littered with fake vertex bits. They were only stardusts, but still fake veryexes nonetheless.

"A dojo, primarily for training," Rin answered, "I just put myself through several stardust simulations. Even though it's mostly just sentinels who deal with stardusts, they're vertexes nonetheless, and can appear in the Shinju barrier along with bigger ones."

"Huh, you think they would have told me about this place." Yosuki said. "I mean, considering that i'm also a hero. Although it looks as though i haven't been told a lot of things."

"Figures. The Taisha are pretty secretive, after all," she answered, "A lot of the general public don't know that heroes, or vertexes exist, and they wouldn't have told me about Mankai, if I hadn't been involved with them from birth."

"Well yeah, but they should at least tell the heros, otherwise they would have put up this building for no reason." He said. "I mean, if no one knew that the building was to be used, who would use it?"

"True, though I hear that a few sentinels are the main ones who use this place. Anyway, I have reports from some of the other heroes who've been hit by that big vertex," she began, "Rosalia fought it this morning, and lost her leg to mankai. The Portuguese team really struggled against it, and almost lost one of their heroes."

"Jeez, and we have to fight it soon." He said. "I hope we don't have to push it too far." He knew they would end up needing to but he wanted to try and stay optimistic about it.

"Point is, we need to step up our game in terms of training," Rin began, "We have to do everything in our power to make sure that we don't end up like Raúl's team, Rosalia, or the Portuguese team. We have to be as battle ready as possible, and although it's a tall order, I'd like to get through it without mankai."

Yosuki nodded. He didn't want to use mankai unless there was nothing else to do. "I know what you mean." He said. "Any ways, I'm going to head back to my house to do target practice." Yosuki had set up targets to help him with his accuracy for his knives.
