"I agree" said Cole. ""Lighting and maintaining a signal fire should be a top priority. I'd like to come check out your camp, but..."
Cole looked worrisomely at the stormy sky. "Truth is, I sent my pokemon to check out another survivor's camp several hours ago, and he hasn't returned yet... I'm not able to defend myself at the moment."
Cole looked over to Alister's Growilithe. "How have you two faired in the forest so far? Do you think you could escort me there? From the higher vantage point I may even be able to spot my pokemon; or maybe he'll be able to spot me... "

---

"Oh, so you are a dancer? I wonder if you wouldn't mind performing a little number for us, then!" Drampa let out a hearty laugh as he engaged Pacen in conversation. He noticed that the Charizard was menacingly eying the symbol on Pacen's beanie; Drampa had also noticed the little pokemon making an effort to hide the symbol, but he wasn't interested in pestering him over it. After all, the Pancham had shown him nothing but kindness so far.
Still, he was curious to learn whatever Pacen was willing to reveal to him, so he asked: "Steven, you say? Is that the name of your trainer? What can you tell me about him?"

The charizard offered to take Drampa and Pacen back to his camp, but Drampa didn't see how this would be possible... "Ohoho! an excellent jest my fellow dragon, but I am over twice your size - carrying me back to your camp would be impossible."

"U- urm... a- al- alright... u- uhh... y- yeah I g- gu- guess," Pacen replied before he gave a dubious nod at the Drampa. The Pancham slowly moved with every beat, as gave a light sigh to himself. After he noted the rest beat that was imminent, he had to take out his left hand from his beanie. He switched the grips from his right hand to his left a split second later, as he secured a good grip on the bamboo stick. Upon the eighth, skipped beat, the panda Pokémon quickly threw the stick in the air! Before the ninth beat came, the Pancham quickly inclined his head upward. The bamboo stick was swiftly caught with just his nose, as he thought, "Ugh... can't believe I barely managed to pull that off again! It's like super quick to try to do all this at once!"

Pacen quickly moved his arms and legs after the second set of beats came. Upon the eighth, absent beat, the Pancham quickly twirled around the bamboo stick! The third set of beats came, as the panda Pokémon quickly inclined his head upwards on the dead beat. The Pancham placed the end of the stick near his mouth, as he released a high-pitched note! A series of small, green notes traveled upwards from in and out of the stick within a few seconds.

Pacen carefully held the stick back in its original position with his left hand soon after. He gave a quick bow to the Drampa, as he thought, "Wow, never thought I could be so good at this! I guess dancing and singing ain't all that bad, even though that meanie hated it!"

"U- umm... uhh... I- I don't like to a- ask, b- but... wh- what's a tr- tra- trainer?" Pacen inquired the Drampa, as the panda Pokémon slowly chewed on the tiny leaf.

Alister shrugged, “Growlithe and I haven’t had any trouble really. We’ve fought and driven off the Beedrill that roam the island several times. They’re not much of a threat if you can keep them at a distance and scare them away with fire.”
He reached down and scratched Growlithe behind the ear, “And my buddy here is quite adept at the ‘scaring away with fire’ part.”
Growlithe bristled at the praise.
“Oh and we’d happily guide you to our camp.” He looked over their shoulders towards the other survivors, “Do you need to grab any thing or let them know the plan or are we good to take off?”

“Alright then I will head back but don’t worry I will find your trainer and try to tell him that you are ok,” said Charizard as he flew off back to the shelter to wake up John. “Yeah what is it Charizard,” asked John as he woke up, “Oh you want me to go help look for survivors,” said John as Charizard nodded yes, “Well let’s get going then,” he said as he grabbed his bag and gotten on Charizard’s back. Charizard then flew off with John on his back, “Alright now let’s look for these other survivors,” said John looking down at the island.

"Bravo!" Shouted Drampa. "My, what a lovely dance - and you are a musician, to boot? I am thrilled to have such a talented young pokemon entertain me while I recover!" Drampa was thoroughly entertained by the dance, but the question that Pacen asked afterwards was what he found most intriguing...
"But I am curious, Pacen. Do you mean to tell me that despite knowing a human on a first name basis, you are unaware of the concept of a 'pokemon trainer?'"
The panda pokemon looked puzzled.
"A 'trainer' is a human comrade of sorts. Someone whose ambitions can take you on the most exhilarating adventures; someone whose discipline and knowledge of battle tactics can elevate your strength to levels that would otherwise be unattainable. Most importantly, a 'trainer' should be a dear friend, as mine is..." Drampa took a moment to reflect upon his separation from Cole. He was worried about the boy, but at the same time, he knew that he was quite capable of handling himself without him.
"Well young Pacen, does what I describe bear any resemblance to your relationship with the human Steven? Was he not your 'trainer?'"

Drampa thanked the Charizard for the berries before he left. "You have been a great help in my recovery thus far, fellow dragon. I hope your travels on this island prove to be fruitful."

Cole took a moment to notify the others of his departure and then rejoined Alister.
"Okay, let's go!"

Alister lifted his rucksack up onto his shoulders, “Alright then, follow me.”
He pushed his way through the underbrush until it began to clear out a little.
“This’ll work.”
Alister let out a quick, sharp whistle and Growlithe bolted into the woods ahead of them.
He looked over at Cole and smiled, “He’ll clear our path.”
The forest was quiet as they trekked. All Alister could hear were their footsteps and Growlithe bounding around ahead of them.
He smiled.
“That’s my boy.”

“Honestly... I can’t really tell as much, n- now that I- I think about i- it... e- even though h- he might s- still have that b- ball,” Pacen quietly replied to the Drampa before he turned around for a brief moment.

“If that skull brat says I’m too weak, then I guess that girl in the pink hair was right about what happened earlier. Even so... does it really mean I’m stuck as a little panda forever?” Pacen loudly stated and asked himself, though it was apparent that he did not take into account of the nearby Drampa.

“No... I’m not letting some dumb, stupid stone stop me! Steven’s not around... so no one ain’t gonna be stopping me yet!” Pacen asserted to himself in a fit of rage, as he immediately released a dark orb into the sky!

As soon as the sphere with dreadful thoughts immediately changed direction, the Pancham quickly pointed the bamboo stick towards the falling orb! The powerful ball with dark aura immediately made contact with the stick!

“Raaauuuggghhh! This... is... so... hard! Urrrggghhh!” Pacen squealed, as he violently slashed the sphere! The dark aura was immediately absorbed into the bamboo stick!

“Ugh... I think I’m really gonna need a break right now,” Pacen quietly said to himself while he panted. He softly swung the stick to harmlessly release the horrible aura back in the sky.

Drampa watched the small panda pokemon intently.
"Is he trying to use a dark type move? But it appears as though he his unable to for some reason.."
Drampa was unaware of the evolutionary requirements of Pacen's species, but still got the sense that the pokemon was trying to accomplish something important...
"Pacen," he said to the panda pokemon "what was is that you were trying to do just then? And who are these other people you speak of?"
After Drampa spoke he slowly tried extending his battered limbs once again, grimacing as he did so.
"The berries seem to be working" he thought to himself. "I will be able to walk soon, but it may be a while yet before I can fly again."

--

As Cole and Alistar journeyed through the forest let by Growlithe Cole couldn't help but notice that the pokemon appeared to have been raised with an impressive amount of discipline.
"I admire your Growlithe's strength," said Cole. "Where are you two from; and how did you meet?"

Alister glanced over at Cole and then back to the path, “We grew up in Kanto. Our father is a Gym leader there.” He ducked under a branch, “He was prior military and he fought in the war. As for where we met, well he found me. It’s a long story but being the son of a Gym leader was... difficult for me and one day when I was..,” He pause to think, “eight, I believe, I ran away. Packed my bags and climbed out a window and took off.” He slowed to push another branch out of the way for Cole. “Anyway, I got lost along the way, I mean, I never even had a plan on where to go...” he laughed, “or a freaking map.”
He nodded towards Growlithe up ahead, “Then he found me and, somehow, led me back home. Where my father caught him and gave him to me.”
Seeing the mountain in the distance he said, “It won’t be long now.”

“Umm... uhh... well... I- I- I- umm... urm... w- well,” Pacen quickly blurted in response, as he placed an intense amount of concentration on his body. A clear, bright aura surrounded his body for a brief moment. The aura soon faded away seconds later, as it left the Pancham already tired out from the intense process.

“I still can’t do it, not even after a month. Am I really like what that guy said? Am I really a success, or just a plain old failure?” Pacen thought to himself the moment he turned to the Drampa, as the aura soon radiated again.

“I’ve been trying to learn a special art from this old man, but it’s very hard to do... he said that not even that sea lion has mastered it yet,” Pacen answered to the Drampa once the Pancham somewhat regained his composure.

“About that lady... I- I’m not sure if I should even t- talk,” Pacen added the moment a faint, bland light flashed from his body for a brief moment.

Corey thought that it was best for he, Issac, Otis, George and Aurora to wait for Cole to come back. If Cole and Drampa approved of Alister's camp, they could probably move there, where a signal would be more visible. He noticed the weather was quite bad, which wouldn't be good for Drampa to fly in. That reminded him to look it for Gligar.
"Stay close to the ground," he ordered his Pokémon.
"I'm going to collect some water for the Pyukumuku to purify," he told the remaining members of the group. "Guard the food and look after each other, I won't be long."
He made sure to bring his backpack with the lone Pokéball in it, some empty water bottles the others had found or left, and his loyal partner Pokémon to protect him from any danger.
The sea looked grey and choppy from the beach. The sky was also a miserable, drained colour, with the howling wind disturbing the forest trees.
He approached the tide and started to fill up the bottles with seawater that Pyukumuku would hopefully be able to purify.

Nia was still outside, rain pouring from the sky. She was hopping in the puddles, it was very fun to her. Nia stopped, and looked around. Everyone else was gone, she had strayed from the group. She started to panic before calming herself, knowing that she will be able to find her way back. Nia sighed quietly, and walked forward. She then burst into a sprint, though Nia wasn’t that fast. Spotting something, Nia came to an abrupt stop. She hadn’t explored this part of the island, and wasn’t anywhere near the camp. Nia saw a small shelter, and she accidentally tumbled down the hill to it, and landed right behind it. Luckily she didn’t hit the shelter, and Nia went around the shelter, until she made it to the front of it. “Anyone there?”

Although Drampa was unsure as to what Pacen was trying to accomplish at first, he was fairly certain that he recognized the white light that emanated from the pokemon as the initial stages of evolution. 'Very interesting...' he thought to himself.
"With regards to the humans you speak of, I will not ask you to reveal anymore if you do not want to... However, on a closing note I would just like to add: it sounds to me like you have had a relatively poor experience with humans in the past, but there are in fact some wonderful humans in this world. Do no think that all humans behave in the manner that yours do - hopefully, some day you may meet one who you can call your 'trainer'"
Drampa then changed the subject to the 'special art' that Pacen brought up.
"But that aside: is that a dark-type move that you are trying to learn? I am no expert on the subject, as this old man you mention may have been, but I do happen to know how to use one... Allow me demonstrate."
The dragon inhaled deeply from where he sat, drawing energy from the darkest recesses of his mind and the malevolent thoughts that he had banished there.
"PAAAAAA!" The Pokemon unleashed a vicious Snarl that resounded through empty woods before them. The trees swayed and some of the smaller vegetation even appeared to wither.
Drampa took a moment to recompose himself and exile the darkness that he'd drawn upon from his conscience.
"I may be able to help you learn such a technique, if that is your goal?" He said to Pacen.

--

"Wow, so you two are close then, huh?" Cole said to Alister. 'In some ways, it's similar to how I met Drampa.' he thought to himself, and it increased his trust in his new friend. He could see that they were almost at Alister's base now, but his lack of a Pokemon was really starting to concern him...
"Hey Alister, after we check out your camp, do you think you could help me catch a pokemon? I think I may have to go looking for mine at some point, and being totally defenceless like this is driving me crazy..."

“Oof! Waahhhh!” Pacen cried, as he cowered from the harsh snarl! He slowly poked his head for a brief moment, as his body quaked.

“U- umm... uhh... I- I think I need to work on that maybe,” Pacen added, as he gave a light frown to himself. He had a tight grip on the bamboo stick, as he knew that his glares would be nothing more than an adorable attempt at intimidation.

The panda Pokémon said with a lowered, noticeable, dubious tone, “Uhh... would you say it’s w- we- weird... t- that lady found that I have like uhh... put some weird stone t- th- thing in my mouth years ago?”

Nia fell back a bit when she heard a loud Snarl. She looked into the shelter, seeing two Pokemon interacting with each other. Are these guys dangerous? One of them did use Snarl . . . Nia glanced towards the forest, before taking a deep breath. “Hello?” The word came out very quiet, she mumbled to herself a bit before taking a few quick steps back.

Ashton was just sitting around after Cole had left; keeping watch over everyone and everything. Since Cole had left and he knew he was safe Ashton had retrieved Poliwhirl and clipped him back on his belt. That's when he heard the faint Snarl of a Pokemon and after scanning the area, he noticed that Otis and Nia were missing.
"OTIS? NIA?!" He screamed.
He panicked and ran over to Aurora and said, "Hey I've got to go look for Otis! Stay here and keep watch! Don't come after me no matter what, and sorry if I sound rude but I'm not asking!" Right after saying that he ran towards where he thought the Snarl was coming from. His eyes wide with panic.

“E- eek! Who’s there?!” Pacen cried in Pokémon speech the moment he picked up a quiet, unfamiliar voice.

The Pancham turned towards the source of the voice. He blinked for a brief moment, as he took upon the sight of an unfamiliar figure.

“I- is that a g- gi- girl? S- she looks s- s- so h- hot! Umm... w- what’s this thing I’m getting n- now?” Pacen thought, as he took several, rapid breaths in front of the girl.

The Pancham eyed at the girl, as he slowly pointed his bamboo stick down. He could only hope that the Drampa did not catch a glimpse of his act. He decided to remain in his current position. He carefully adjusted the beanie for a brief moment and resisted the urge to put his hands in his mouth.

"A stone in your mouth, you say?" Drampa inquired. "Why yes, I would say that is very weird indeed." He paused for a moment to contemplate the matter. "When humans bestow stones unto their pokemon, it is usually done so for the purpose of inducing evolution - I know there to be several pokemon that evolve in this manner... But you have not evolved yet, so that is clearly not the case here. Unless... I believe there may be a stone that actually inhibits evolution. Does this sound plausible to you, Pacen? Is there any way for us to remove this stone and test this hypothesis?"

After he finished speaking Drampa heard a faint scuttling nearby and a hesitant greeting.
"Yes, hello? Ah! You are the Venipede belonging to the young girl back at the lake, are you not? Oh dear... Have you gotten lost too? Our trainers must be very worried about us by now..."

Drampa saw that the little pokemon appeared nervous, and so he tried to reassure her. "I'm sorry if my Snarl scared you - I was merely trying to demonstrate a technique to this Pancham. I do not believe I have gotten your name yet? You may refer to me as just 'Drampa.'"

Corey finished up filling the bottles with saltwater. When he turned round, he noticed something sticking out of the sand. It looked like a piece of wood. He started to dig around it, realising as he progressed that it was some sort of wooden chest.
Around the chest, a Potion and an Ultra Ball were hidden in the sand. Corey put them into his backpack, excited but also confused about how they'd gotten there.
He pulled the chest out of the sand. Its lock was rusted away and it easily opened. Inside, there was a large, heavy, iron key, and beneath the key, an ancient map. The map was faded and difficult to read details on, but Corey deduced that it was a map of the island.
Ready to get back to the camp, he stood up and made sure he hadn't left anything behind.
A sudden alarmed squawk from Gligar alerted him to danger. He whirled round and saw a small Pokémon looking enraged, crackling with electricity.
"Oh, man," Corey thought out loud. "Gligar, use Slash!" he quickly decided.
His Pokémon executed the move, damaging what he recognised to be a Helioptile.
Ugh, I should have used Bulldoze, he berated himself. It was hard to think about type matchups in the heat of battle. But it gave him an idea. Gligar's attack had weakened the Electric Pokémon, and Corey wanted extra protection on the dangerous island.
He retrieved his Pokéball before the Helioptile could retaliate, and threw it towards the Pokémon, taking it by surprise.
One, two, and... yes! He'd caught the Helioptile. He felt proud that he and Gligar had held their own in battle, and now he had another Pokémon to help out.
"Well done, Gligar!" he grinned.
"Gliiiii!"
Corey began to make his way back to his sister and friends in high spirits.

Alister grinned, “Of course I’ll help you catch a Pokémon!”
Growlithe appeared suddenly and began walking with his partner.
“That’s means it’s safe up head, at least for now.”
Alister quickened his stride and before long the wood line disappeared and it opened up into a clearing that stretch, like a ring, around the mountain.
“Across the meadow and up the mountain. There see that narrow path,” he pointed, “watch your footing and you’ll be fine.”

“Umm... Honestly, I have no clue if you can... I- I think from what I recall... uhh,” Pacen said with a noticeably low, anxious tone, as his body trembled.

A sudden, brief vision of a large, orange building came to mind. Inside the building, Pacen found himself on a small bed. A tray filled with black saliva carried a small, pale gray stone that was close to an unhappy cloud’s shading.

“According to these charts, you’re gonna be needing quite a bit of surgeries and other treatments to get that stuff out of you... at least if we’re lucky enough to get out at least a quarter with the stuff we have in this town,” A feminine voice stated in Pacen’s mind. A large tube filled with a mysterious, green liquid appeared. The sharp, pointy end gave off a bright shine soon after.

“N- no! N- no! Ahh!” Pacen squealed to himself, before he suddenly returned himself back into the realms of reality! He curled up next to the Drampa and shivered uncontrollably. There was no sort of comprehensible word that came from the Pancham seconds later.

Ashton was gasping for air while he was running, the cold air stinging his nose, and penetrating his clothes. He saw no one, so he called out his Poliwhirl.
"Poli-whirl-irl-lii?" Translate it meant "What's wrong?" and "Where are we?".
"Well... I don't know where Otis and Nia are, and I head a Pokemon use Snarl so I thought maybe I could find them, but I couldn't! Great job by me; I must say. I hate to say it but we've got to go back to the camp," It pained him to say this, "we can look for her when this weather has lessened."
With Ashton leading the way, and Poli literally in his backpack with the rest of his gear; they ran full-speed back to camp. Sweat pouring down his body, despite the cool weather.

The wind was getting even more intense and dangerous, “Charizard I think we should land somewhere for now until the wind dies down,” said John as he then saw a cave with a lake nearby, “Hey Charizard why not we land over at that cave over there,” said John pointing to the cave as Charizard quickly turned around and flew into the cave where it was safe, “Alright let’s rest up for now till the wind dies down alright,” said John as he sat down. As John set up the campfire an injured Mudkip walked into the cave and collapsed at the entrance of it. John took quick notice to the injured Pokemon and brought it inside the cave to be healed. John grabbed the bandages from his bag as well as some berries and potions, “Charizard can you quickly light the campfire for me please,” said John, bringing the Mudkip to the campfire, as Charizard used his fire to light the campfire. John used the potions on the cuts and bruises on the Mudkip and used the bandages to cover them up so that the wounds wouldn’t get infected. Once John was done he gave a sitrus berry to the Mudkip so that it would heal quicker and placed the Pokémon next to the campfire so that it wouldn’t freeze from the cold.

As soon as Ashton told Aurora that he would take it from there, Aurora lay down beside the fire and fell asleep instantly. She did not even recall Froslass back to the Pokeball, so the equally exhausted Ice Type Pokemon sat down in the shadow of a tree next to its trainer and fell asleep equally fast.

When Ashton and Cole left, Aurora just nodded although she was not very conscious of what was going on.

However, as the weather worsened and the stronger winds began to rustle the leaves in the trees more intensely, Aurora seemed to be slowly awaking. The fire next to her dying down. Froslass still asleep but Aurora knew that if her soul was sensing a disturbance, Ftoslass would instantly wake up. Aurora realized that everyone left the camp but she did not worry. She had to stay behind to have a sort of commonly known meeting point in case someone came back and with her brother safe she knew nothing could happen to him.

John sat back down on the ground next to Charizard and thought about what he should do next after the wind has died down, “Hey Charizard what do you think we should do next after the wind has died down because I was thinking that we should make this cave our new shelter because when we were flying I saw a lake near this cave and this cave also has really good resources that we could use as well,” said John asking Charizard if he agrees, “Rrroar (Pokemoneah I agree we should make this cave our new home),” said Charizard with a smile to let John know that he agrees with him. Not long after, Mudkip woke up from it’s sleep and saw John talking with Charizard and Mudkip went over to John and said, “Mudkip (Pokémon language: Thank you for healing me human),” said Mudkip when John looked down at it and patted its head, “Hey your all better now aren’t you and also I was wondering if you would like to help us get some food and water,” said John asking Mudkip to join his team, “Mud-kip (Of course I would like to join you),” said Mudkip jumping up and down in joy as John got out his Pokeball and held it out. Mudkip went over to the Pokeball and pressed the button in the middle and went inside the Pokeball and was caught.

"Alright thanks, I'll follow your lead then" Cole responded to Alister as the two embarked on the final stretch of their journey.

--

Drampa carefully extended one of his injured wings so that the feathers covered the shivering Pancham in an attempt to comfort him.
'I appear to have brought memories to the surface that would have been better left untouched...' Drampa frowned to himself.
'I will apologize for this later... But for now, I must provide comfort until the episode passes.'

Drampa looked up at the churning grey clouds with a concerned expression. He turned to the Venipede
"It will not do to stay in this grove if a storm hits... Once Pacen is able to travel again I think that we should go somewhere with more cover. I think that I am capable of walking now."

The hike up the mountain was perilous but it went smoothly. The wind was much worse on the slope of the mountainside but the rocks around his shelter would block the wind almost completely. Alister sighed as they reach the peak to reveal his base of operations, Growlithe quickly lit the small camp fire near the rocks and went to lay in the makeshift shelter. It was quite sturdy. It’s was a veriation of a ‘lean to’ design incorporating the large rocks into the shelter itself. Where there had been gaps in the walls and roof Alister had patched them with foliage and mud from around the area.
Smiling Alister said triumphantly, “Welcome to our fortress!”

"U- uhh... u- umm... I- I'm f- fi- fine! A- as... l- lo- long as l- li- like that pinky h- ha- haired ain't h- here!" Pacen shouted, as he tightly gripped onto his bamboo stick!

The pancham took in several, rapid breaths. The panda Pokémon continued to shiver uncontrollably in front of the Drampa.

"Ugh... that thing on my chest is starting to hurt a bit again! I think I might have done a bit too much already!" Pacen thought, as his chest radiated a pale, white light for a brief moment.

The wind started to die down a bit and John then let out Mudkip from it’s Pokeball, “Muuuudkip,” said Mudkip, “Hey Mudkip do you want to help me find some food with me,” asked John as Mudkip jumped up in joy wanting to go help find some berries with John, “Ok then let’s go and Charizard I leave building the new shelter to you just make sure that it is part of the cave pls,” said John as he and Mudkip walked off to go find some berries and to get some of the water from the lake. Charizard then went off to go get some wood and branches for the roof that is going to be above the entrance of the cave and to also get some more firewood for the campfire.

"Impressive!" said Cole. "This place will definitely make for a good lookout, and a good place for the signal fire." From atop the mountain Cole could see out across almost the entire island. With his eyes he scoured the land below but was unable to see anything indicating the whereabouts of his pokemon. It was undeniable at this point that something had gone wrong...
"Are there many wild pokemon around the mountain?" he asked Alister. "I think I'll be needing one soon. I have a few ultra balls with me..."

--

Despite being injured himself, Drampa was growing more and more concerned for the shivering Pancham.
"We need to find an adequate place to rest - a fire may also be necessary given this weather..." The dragon pokemon stood, shakily at first, but managed to hold himself upright. He began to limp cumbersomely into the woods in search of firewood, and a safer place to reside.
"I urge you to follow me, you two" he said to the pokemon with him. "It do not think it will be hospitable here for much longer."

"Y- yes... I- I ki- kinda ag- agree," Pacen swiftly replied to the Drampa, as the Pancham followed along with the Drampa.

"Something really tells me that I should of fed that dragon thing more berries... but I think I should maybe like wait first. I think I'm gonna probably have my stick frozen at this rate," Pacen thought, as he clutched onto the bamboo stick with his left hand.
-------------------------------------------------
Seth slowly aroused and rubbed his eyes for a brief moment. He took a deep breath and noted a significant change in the air. He slowly got up and quickly brushed off the dust off of his beret and bag. His eyes slowly adjusted to the world, as he thought, "Man, where in the world am I now? It looks the same, yet so different... Eek! I think everyone might have left!"

"A- and it's so... c- c- c- c- cold! L- like really c- c- c- c- co- cold!" The Squirtle said to himself, before he gave a light cough.

"H- he- hello? A- an- anyone th- there? H- hello? Hello!" Seth loudly called, as he gave a light sigh to himself.

"I really gotta find a place to hunker down, and fast too! I'll probably be in a museum at this rate!" The turtle Pokémon thought, before he slowly toddled in the forest. He attempted to search for any other life; be another Pokémon or a human out on the island somewhere.

John and Mudkip were still exploring the forest in search of berries and they found lots of different kinds of berries like Pecha berries, Oran berries, Sitrus berries and some Chesto berries as well, once they reached the lake to grab some water a wild teddiursa appeared and was ready to attack, “Mudkip get ready cause I think this one wants to fight,” said John. Meanwhile, Charizard just finished building the roof above the cave entrance and then decided to go look for some more firewood and headed back into the forest. While looking around for firewood Charizard then heard a voice that sounded like a Pokémon calling for help and so he went towards the direction of where the voice was coming from and to see if he could help that Pokémon in any way possible.

(((OOC: Sorry that I wasn’t online for awhile)))

She was bit confused of the Pancham’s words, and then Nia noticed Drampa, “Yes, I do belong to Otis, and my name is Nia.” Nia felt reassured that these guys aren’t dangerous, and the young Venipede smiled a bit as the two Pokemon continued to talk. Drampa spoke about them leaving and finding a better place to go, and Nia nodded. “Okay, the weather does seems to be bad today...” Nia said as she followed them, her antennas twitching with a bit of excitement.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Otis sighed, Nia should have come back by now . . . She waited, guarding the place where the food was stored. “Maybe she is still playing, yeah, Nia does love to play after all.” Otis looked up at the sky. The weather was bad, “Oh Nia, I can’t search for you in this weather, please be safe...”
John and Mudkip were getting ready to fight the wild Teddiursa that came out of no where and wanted to fight them both, “Alright Mudkip use Water gun,” said John as Mudkip used Water Gun on Teddiursa that dodged the attack and then used Scratch, “Mudkip dodge it,” said John but Mudkip couldn’t dodge in time and got hit by the Scratch attack, “Mudkip use Water Gun again,” said John as Mudkip successfully got a hit on Teddiursa with it’s water gun, “Alright nice job Mudkip,” John said as Teddiursa got back up and used Slash, “Quickly dodge it,” said John as Mudkip dodged the attack. The battle kept going for a while until Teddiursa was defeated and was caught inside a Great Ball, “Nice work Mudkip but we should head back now because it is getting dark,” said John as he and Mudkip walked back to their new shelter.
Alister nodded, “In the morning, Pokémon emerge from the forest and roam and play in the meadow that surrounds the mountain.” He shrugged and looked over at Growlithe, “but the rest of the day and night it’s only Beedrill that patrol the tree line that we’ve seen.”
He walked over and set his rucksack on the ground near the shelter. He opened the flap and began digging, “You said you had a few ultra balls, right?” He took out three small orbs and handed them to Cole, “I don’t know if you’ve seen or used these before, One is a net ball, it’s good for catching bug Pokémon, the other is a lure ball, obviously for fish Pokémon, and the third is my favorite...,” he grinned, “That’s a luxury ball. It’s just a super comfy home sweet home for the Pokémon inside. Use it on any Pokémon.” He pulled out five other Poké balls and attached them to his belt. “If we’re going out, I may need to catch me a team.” He looked at Cole and shrugged mischievously, “Better safe than sorry.”
Drampa, Pacen, and Nia slowly made their way deeper into the uncharted regions of the island, with Drampa gathering firewood along the way. The forest was becoming denser and denser, and the atmosphere was becoming inexplicably gloomier. Strange sounds came and went in the distance, and Drampa was becoming weary of the situation... But he decided that they must press onward because shelter was the most important thing at the moment. Eventually, the party stumbled upon a large stone structure. It appeared to be man-man, but by men that must've existed thousands of years ago... The ornate carvings along the edges of the walls were weather-worn, and obscured by moss and vines. The building had an ominous vibe, but Drampa couldn't see any other option at the moment.
He turned to the two pokemon with him: "I think that we should rest here for now. It may not look like the most hospitable abode... But once we light a fire inside I am sure it will be quite homely" he tried to reassure the group. He needed the rest more than anyone, having just travelled a sizeable distance with mangled limbs.
"Awesome, thank you!" Cole said as Alister handed him the additional pokeballs. "I lost most of mine during the crash, so these will come in very handy." Cole took a moment to strap them to his belt and to get the rest of his things in order.
"I'm ready to go when you are" he said once he was ready. "If you don't mind you may have to help me catch the first one - I don't have a pokemon to weaken it with..."
Alister walked over to sit next to Growlithe, “of course. I’ll help any way I can.” He scratched Growlithe on the nape of his neck, “I should probably catch a few as well, if any appeal to me.” He looked over at Cole, just tell me when you find one you like and we’ll make it happen.”
Alister threw a few pieces of wood onto the fire and sat back, “All that being said, they won’t even come out until dawn. So get some rest and don’t worry about it.” He smiled, “I’m sure your partner is fine and just got held up because of the winds.”
“Wow... it’s like I’m back at an art museum again, and for free this time!” Pacen thought, before his mind was suddenly interrupted by the stormy weather.
“Y- yeah... b- but... I- I’m not sure how to even m- make o- on- one... especially with this air!” Pacen replied to the Drampa, as the Pancham slowly continued to chew on the tiny leaf.
“Ack! I don’t know how much longer I can even take! I’m f- fr- free... z- zi- zing! L- li- like he- he- hell! O- or... m- mo- more!” Seth cried to himself, as he gave off a series of somewhat heavier coughs.
He trudged in the forest, as he attempted to catch his breath every fifth, heavy step. There was a large, stoney structure he saw within the distance. The turtle Pokémon decided to make his way there. He had hoped that there would be other life there; maybe even the key to salvation if he was lucky enough.
Nia’s antennas twitched with curiousity when the party reached a stone structure. “Your right, a fire would make this place just like home.” She scampered inside, settling down on the ground. “This place already seems like home.” She smiled a bit, enjoying the shelter from the rain and cold.
By the time Corey arrived back to his sister and the others, it had begun to rain heavily. The air crackled with energy- clearly a storm had started to hit.
"Hey," he called softly, eager to share the news of what he had found.
Those who had left the camp earlier hadn't returned yet, and it made him a little concerned. He hoped they were all okay and hadn't gotten separated.
Corey summoned Helioptile out of its Pokéball and fed it some of the Oran Berries in the pile of fruit to restore its health and bond with it a little. He didn't notice Gligar's angry, jealous look directed at the new Pokémon.
