Private/Closed Pokemon Warcraft!

Razan nodded his head. “Yes, I believe that I am ready.”
He took Ashley by the arm, and lead her to the group of people that were going, and listened to Azumi.

“Nah, he’ll be fine,” Tyler said to her as he stood beside her. “Besides, Octo-Bug is coming too in case he sees his friend.”
He thought for a moment, and then continued. “So, how was the ceremony?”, Tyler asked as they began walking.

"It was... Good. They made a giant mural for everyone. Leo's portrait was wonderful." Azumi said as she walked with Tyler. They left the guild house and began walking towards town. "I still can't believe he is gone. Why weren't you able to go?" She had just remembered that Tyler had to go do something else. "Is everything okay?"

Sarah walked with Sam along side Azumi and Tyler. She was really looking forward to some fun. She had been working all this time on things for others and this is like a break for her.

Amra walked to the stable where Flare was. She was eating a carrot when Amra arrived. "Hey girl you ready for the dance?" Flare nieghed and moved closer to Amra. Amra climbed onto her back and then rode off. She passed the others with a wave.

Phoenix smiled at the complement. Annette was a sweet girl and he knew she did not want to be alone so he is taking her as a friend. "Well thank you Annette. You look nice well. Come on the others are already on their way."

Tyler listened intently to Azumi, offing his head as she went on, and a pang of sadness went over him when she mentioned Leo. Then she asked what he did during it.
He didn’t want to tell her now. It might ruin the mood of tonight.
“ Everything is fine. I’ll tell you after the dance, Ok?” He told her.

Razan laughed. “I will not. And yes, I am doing ok.”
They continued walking with the others.
“So, how do you like the guild so far? If you need to know who certain people are, I’m here to help,” a told her.

"Great," Ashley responded, "Thank you for offering, otherwise, Kato went to get my cloak, forgot about it at the guild hall, and Windchime is floating above us."

"Chime!" Windchime exclaimed excitedly.

Jake and Iris left for the dance from the Solarflare guild, Jake was wearing a black suit, with a light green shirt on the inside, formal pants and shoes, along with his cloak, as for Iris, she was wearing a light green dress, a nice one, with a ribbon on the waist, the two were walking with Sceptile and Dragonite.

Near the location of the dance, a Hypno appeared.

“Hi, sorry I’m late!” Sol announced as he ran into the guild hall, wearing a black dress shirt and red tie. “Oh wow, you look great!” He complimented Rene upon seeing her.

——

Wes felt different- weird. Never in his life had he worn such fancy clothing, his outfit was worth more than most treasure. He looked like a duke, wearing a golden coat that seemed to shimmer over fine black tunic that covered a white collared shirt. The exceedingly expensive black pants were tucked into fancy hide boots. Wes hated it. He hated the restricted movement and he especially hated looking like an arrogant member of the 1%. He went and picked up his date and headed into the ballroom.

Azumi laughed. "Everything is not always fine with you. I learned that from experience."
They continued to walk, Azumi greeting people as they walked through the streets. The town loved them now, people looked up to them. Being one of the few strong guilds left and having come back from the war, they were considered heroes.

When they approached the castle walls, there were many people dressed in fancy clothes and royal soldiers wearing golden armors. The soldiers were lined up, guiding everyone to the Grand Hall.

As soon as the guild crossed the castle doors a man called out loudly.
"The Stormbreakers have arrived!"

The soldiers held up flags with the Stormbreakers symbol and the royal symbol. Other soldiers sounded trumpets, a melody rang as they walked down the fine red carpet. Azumi walked with her head up and proudly, she knew what it was like to be in the eyes of the high society.

Annette looked around nervously, she had only imagined doing something like this in her dreams. She looked up at Phoenix. "I'm really nervous! My hands are shaking!"
Fifi, on the contrary, she walked proudly and loved the attention.

Samantha seemed to not care about the attention around them. She walked normally next to Sarah, just looking ahead.

Jake and Iris finally caught up with Hypno, his Dragonite landed and started walking with Sceptile. Moose and Ariana had arrived at the castle on a carriage, due to Ariana's pregnancy. Moose told his Stantler to help the Rapidashes park the carriage, as Moose, Ariana, Volcarona and a Mareep walked into the Grand Hall. The Mareep spotted the Stormbreakers and ran over to them.

"Baaaa!" The Mareep cried in excitement, as it recognized Annette.

Rene blushed. "Thank you. You look very handsome also."

Michi groaned since she didn't get a compliment. She was wearing a blue ribbon on her left ear.

Rene walked with Sol through the streets. She was amazed by how much people loved them. She walked close to Sol, feeling more comfortable that way.

When they entered the castle walls and heard the trumpets, Rene placed her arm around Sol's. She was beginning to get nervous, small shocks of electricity traveled through her fingers.

Michi hanged on to Rene's shoulder, looking afraid of the noise.

Out of the corner of his eye, Jake had spotted Rene, but Iris had to divert his attention and drag him into the Grand Hall due to his role in the battle in the mountains. She had one of his various non-magical horns and handed it to him. He held onto it, just in case the King needed him to play it or something. Iris was nervous, but she held onto Jake's arm, he was used to it, since his father was a Lord.

Ashley was not used to the amount of attention despite being the daughter of a lord, but remained calm.

Razan and Ashely eventually caught up with the rest of the Stormbreakers, in time to see and go through the entrance the had made for them. “Well this is certainly.....nice?” Razan said. “Never been to this big of a celebration before.” He muttered.

Tyler laughed at what Azumi had said about him. “Yeah, I guess your right. The time will come.” He looked around at the people around them, and then at the castle itself. “Wow...this is a big cave....” he said jokingly since the castle was made of stone.
Octo-Bug nudged his leg, and Tyler looked down. “What is it buddy?” Tyler asked him. Immediately he understood even without his Pokémon responded. “Ooh, yeah...well, go find em!”
The spider Pokémon nodded, and scurried off ahead of them.
Jerry walked behind Tyler, acting like his bodyguard.

"Never been to one this big, but back in Everettshire (name of Ashley's home town), we had a couple of celebrations, but none this size, the closet was when I was two, when my nephew Tempest was born." Ashley responded.

Jake was currently waiting for Ashley and the rest of the Stormbreakers, along with Moose, Iris decided to help Ariana, Volcarona was taking a patrol with Kato, while Windchime continued floating above Ashley and Razan's heads, soaking in the attention, flying into the faces of some of the guards.

"Windchime, can you please get back here!" Ashley whispered to her Pokemon.

Windchime had flown back to its original spot, above its person and her date's heads.

Azumi smiled, enjoying the company of Tyler and her friends. Nana and Anakin walked behind, Nana waved at everyone like if she was royalty.

The doors to the Grand Hall opened up for them. The marble pillars were decorated with ribbons of all different colors. There were plenty of tables with white clothes and many people already sited down, enjoying their dinner. The dance floor was in the middle and big. There were mirrors along the walls and a giant chandelier hanging from the center.

"Tyler, I need to go see my father. I will catch up later, okay?" Azumi she let go of Tyler and walked off on her own.

A royal guard escorted the group to their very own table.

Azumi walked over to the King's table and bowed before him. "Your Majesty, it is a wonder party."

The King nodded. "Indeed it is Ms. Towers. You enjoy yourself tonight."

Azumi walked over to her father and bowed. "Hello Dad, I will be with my guild tonight, it that's okay with you." She hugged her father and walked back to the guild. She noticed Wes on the way, but pretended not to see him.

She sat down with the others, between Tyler and Amra.

Samantha sat next to Sarah and began eating the bread set out for them.

Annette sat next to Phoenix. "This is so magical!"

Windchime flew off to where the other Pokemon were while Kato followed, keeping Windchime's Happy-go-lucky personality in check, until he realized he should be protecting Ashley and Razan. Volcarona, once his person, his person's wife, his person's brother-in-law, and that person's date were ok, went to where the Pokemon went. Jake and the others were waiting for the Stormbreakers dinner to wrap up.

Tyler let Azumi leave, and then smiled as she came back. Jerry came and sat down beside Tyler. A guard came to escort him back to where the Pokémon would stay, but Tyler insisted that he stayed. “He’s human enough ain’t he?”, he said to the gaurd. The guard met him be. Tyler took a piece of bread and decided to preform a magic trick.
“As you see here we have a normal piece of bread. But if we set it flat on my hand...”
Tyler then did as he said he would, but made his hand catch on fire under the bread. A few seconds later, he lifted the bread off his hand.
“Ta daa! Toast!” He was about to eat it, and then realized that it was starting to catch on fire. He quickly blowed it out. It was blackened. “Uh-Ta daa! Burnt toast!”, Tyler exclaimed.
Jerry reached over and took it from him, and quickly ate it. “Obviously that needs work...” Tyler said quietly.

Razan and Ashley both sat down next to each other. “So, where was your hometown that you grew up in?”, Razan asked her.

Ashley stopped talking after entering the Grand Hall itself, remembering Razan's question right before they entered, and took a seat next to Razan, smiling as she took a seat, answering Razan's question, "A medium sized town at the Kelan-Creel border, my father was assigned to head the mail coming from the other Kingdoms."

As she sat down, after answering Razan's question, she got nervous, with the King nearby. She calmed down after she saw the rest of guild so far.

Azumi laughed at Tyler's attempt to do a magic trick. "Burnt toast is not a magic trick." She said as she looked around. "After dinner we will probably get to dance... Do you know how?" She looked at Tyler, trying to see if he would say the truth.

Waiters began walking around serving plates of food and cups of wine to everyone. The plate of food contained something that looked like a chicken breast, bathed in a sweet yellow looking sauce. It had some vegetables to the side and some white rice with corn. The wine was white wine and waiters left a bottle at every table.

Tyler smiled. “I did at one point. I wanted to be an artist, or a dancer or something if that sort. My father was already dead at this point, and when I told Uncle CrossBlade he goes, ‘Ah son, what are you doin with your life eh? Don’t ye want to be useful and avenge your father?’”, Tyler said mimicking CrossBlades Russian accent. Tyler shrugged. “I watched street performers dance, I learned by watching, but that was years ago......”
“My uncle taught me how to forge, and at first I didn’t want to, until I learned that I was making art, but out of metal. Mom agreed that it was for the best....” Tyler faded off when talking about his mom, images flashing through his head, but quickly returned to the conversation.
“Anyway...about CrossBlade.....” Tyler started, thinking for a moment before continuing. “Wes killed him, right?”

Razan nodded as she talked. “My village was basically in the middle of nowhere, 50 or so miles from here west.”
He noted that the food had came, and began to eat.

Sol began to tell her about himself while he sat down to eat, making sure to pull her chair out for her before she sat down. “Well my family was just killed during the war, I wasn’t able to do anything to protect them so I decided to come join the Stormbreakers to get stronger and make sure nothing like that ever happens again!” The boy proclaimed in an oddly light hearted tone. It may had seemed like he was coping with his pain extremely well, but in reality Sol was deeply depressed and was trying not to burden the others with his sadness.

——

Wes ended up sitting near the king. “Here’s your watch back, they set me up with this outfit. I feel like I’m suffocating.” He joked while hold the watch out in his hand, a little sad to see it go. Wes had been tempted to steal it, but he didn’t want to gain such a valuable treasure from being handed it, perhaps he would return some day to properly steal it. “By the way, this is my date, Alice.” He gestured to the stunning brunette girl seated next to him that was wearing a green dress to match her eyes.

"That's not too far," Ashley responded and then saw the food.

She ate at a decent pace, not too fast but not too slow. She then noticed the bottle on table and blushed.

"I realized the bottle is of white wine, if I have too much, I might start talking in a different language that none of you know of, since apparently my brother is around, find him, he's easily identifiable, has the same hair and eye colors as me, but is several inches taller, he can translate." Ashley explained, two shades of red darker than originally was, "I'd have Very little at the celebrations my family had as a child, knowing that I do this."

Sarah walked in with the others. She took her seat front of Azumi. When Sam sat beside her, she was glad to have that comfort. Knowing that in her line of work it was hard for her to have much of a relationship. That said, she has had a few encounters in the past. She smiled as she remembers one noble man. He was sweet and very caring towards her.

Amra dismounted from Flare and watched as she went over to the other pokemon. She was glad to see her playing with the others. Walking up after her talk with on of the nobles about her outfit, she sat down to enjoy her meal. "And what language would that be Ashley?"

Phoenix spoke to Annette. "You will be fine. Come on lets go eat so we can get to the dancing faster." Phoenix was happy to be in a place where he could show off his performing skills. He loved to be around others who enjoy that sort of thing.

"I can speak a language known as Elemental Realm Language, the language of the Elementals, I learned it as a child to be able to talk down my one sister, who was born with an elemental sealed in her, when said elemental has taken over." Ashley explained, "Both the language and the Elemental condition are very rare, seems to be constrained to my family and about five others."

After that, Ashley went back to eating.

Azumi looked down ashamed if herself, she had forgotten to talk to Tyler about that. "Yes, I'm sorry I should've told you. But, well things haven't been well." Now that he had mentioned Wes, she didn't resist the urge to look his way.
Her stomach twisted as she noticed the girl with him. Cold goosebumps went down her spine. She had no idea what that sensation was, but it was awful. She looked away and back to Tyler. "You're not planning on fighting him or something like that, are you?"

The King took the watch. "Well why didn't you ask for something more comfortable?" He laughed. "Who are you trying to impress?" He took Alice's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss, you have a national hero here with you today." He patted Wes on the back. "Have you talked to your former master yet?" He whispered to Wes.

Annette sat down to eat and was excited to get to dance. "I've never danced with anyone. But I read some books on it and practiced.*

Samantha ate slowly. "Sarah... If you want to dance... Go ahead. I plan... On sitting here all night... I like to observe."

Tyler smiled and shook his head. “Why would I? If I tried to defend CrossBlade, which I wouldn’t, everyone would come after me, and I couldn’t put up with that. I was just curious....CrossBlade has a way of securing his legacy you see. When he meets and becomes fond of someone, he leaves a scar of an X on them, not the Organizations symbol, but his own. Razan might have one because CrossBlade was the one who took him in, and I have no doubt in my mind that CrossBlade would have settled his rivalry with Wes without giving him one.” Tyler scooted his food over to Jerry who ate it happily. “I have one too,” Tyler said quickly.
“It’s ok that you didn’t tell me. I figured that he would fall eventually. Plus, you had just gotten back from the big mission. Everything was crazy and stuff.”

Razan took a mental note of what Ashley had said. Okay, speaks rare language, that’s pretty cool. “I almost forgot you had family here.” He said.

"He's apart of Solarflare, apparently he blew the horn at the battle." Ashley explained, "He somehow called fifty thousand wild Pokemon to the northern front."

Jake was a little embarrassed, Iris was starry eyed, Moose and Ariana had their jaws on the floor.

"While I was making sure the southern front was ok, you blew one horn and fifty thousand Pokemon responded!?" Moose responded, not making any sense of Jake's horn blast.

Alice blushed as the king greeted her. She was a quiet small town girl who had never spoken to someone of authority, much less the king. “The honor is mine.” She pleasantly replied to the king. “National hero? You didn’t mention that.” Alice playfully hugged Wes’s arm, clearly impressed.

——

“Oh it’s no big deal.” Wes casually replied to his date, not wanting to make a fuss. He then leaned in closer to speak to the king. “Not yet, I’m afraid she’d kill me. She’s been shooting murderous glances at me all day.”

The King laughed. He finished his food and began drinking his wine. "Now Wes, she is my goddaughter. I care for her like if she was my own. I known her since she was born and I have never seen her so upset. My advice, if there's something to fix, fix it, fast. The longer you sit on it, the most likely it is going to blow up in your face. Be adults about it." He finished his cup of wine. "But tonight, enjoy it. Take Alice to dance, she is a lovely girl."

“Ummm pretty great! What do you think?” Sol replied, trying to leave the heavy conversation in the past. He had been attempting to discreetly feed Growlithe scraps of the meat, feeling the Pokémon deserved it as much as he did. “I feel kind of weird being here, this was supposed to honor war heroes but I haven’t done anything yet.” Sol confessed.

——

“You’re right.” Wes smiled his reply and proceeded to gulp down his glass of wine. “Do you have anything stronger than this? I’m going to need it if I have to face Azumi.”

Since Sol and Rene were across from them, he decided to respond. “I hear you. I was in it and I don’t even think I deserve it, because all I do is provide support. Ashley is the one who fought Diablo. I’m really nothing special.”

Azumi was distracted. That’s what Tyler thought. She looked into the crowd a few times, and suddenly changed the conversation talking about.....CrossBlade?
Is that who she didn’t want to talk about?
Didn’t seem like it. When he asked she responded. Maybe she really just wanted to change the subject from work.
“Uh, sure! What do you want to talk about?”,
Tyler asked.

The King gave Wes a weird look. "What kinda of King do you think I am?" He shook his head as he raised his hand and did an odd signal with it. A waiter came and set down a bottle of brandy. "There you are! Just don't go too much on it, it's really strong."

Azumi shrugged. "Well... I am curious, have you ever been in love?" She drank from her wine. "It's been a question I had in my mind lately, well not that one exactly, but about love. I would like to know what your experience on it is."

The memories of the funeral hit him hard when she asked him. It took him a moment to respond, trying to clear his mind of what had happened today.
“I....have never been in love...or vice versa.”
Jerry looked over at Tyler, worried for him.
He knew what he was thinking about.
“I’m...not sure if that will change or not.....maybe it will....maybe it won’t....”
Tyler drifted off thinking. Why had this topic triggered these thoughts? He needed to put this behind him. And he had tried. It just tried to keep trying to barge out, barge out of the walls of Tyler’s secrecy. The doors were locked, and were weakening.

Razan waved his hand around. “Oh come on, your a much better fighter than me,” he said.

“The kind who has to deal with stress.” Wes laughed and downed a glass of the brandy, viscously exhaling as the strength burned his throat.

——

“But you fought for a guild. I ran and was unable to help at all. This ceremony is to honor those who fought, I didn’t.” Sol sighed, disheartened by his personal revelation.

Tyler suddenly remembered a time.
“Actually, I thought I was once. Me and a girl went out a lit, and I thought I was in love, until I found out that she was using me to try to get someone else. Someone else’s attention. Apparently I wasn’t good enough for her.” He shrugged. “But that’s all in the past now. It don’t matter.”

Razan shook his head. “But I one point I fought for the Organization, not the guild. You’ve heard of the notorious Organization X haven’t you? They took me in when I was young and tore my village to bits. Trust me, you proved your braveness by joining this guild and taking the risk of fighting and avenging your fallen. You shouldn’t be upset.”
