Shallow topic is shallow. :x

What are the most recent games you've bought, hard copy or digitally, or most recently preordered? You may post in this topic as you go and bump it when appropriate. I'm just interested to see what kind of games - and bundles - everyone else is actively buying/downloading/reserving.

Anyways, I most recently downloaded LoZ: Link's Awakening DX on my 3DS because I'd played Plants vs Zombies to death and wanted something new to pick up and play. Of course now I have 10 free NES games to do that with, but I'd always wanted to rebuy Link's Awakening anyways so what the hey.

Also preordered Star Fox 64 3D and the Skyward Sword bundle set a couple of days ago. I wanted the shiny controller, and my little sisters broke one of my Wiimotes recently anyways. =(

Need to preorder the Skyward Sword bundle, 'cos that Wiimote is the only thing that can possibly soften the burden of having to buy a new Wiimote JUST for this game.

Other than that, I think Deus Ex is definitely in my sights for my next game.

Several weeks ago, I preordered the...really expensive version of Star Wars: The Old Republic whose name I can't remember for the life of me :/ But it comes with a lot of stuff, including an in-game store that only the people that preordered this version will have access to(that supposedly has a bunch of badass goodies :D ) Curious as to what they might be, I went with it(though the nice man said I can change to the regular or any other edition if I want, as long as I do it before it comes out).

This is actually my very first preorder, because I really don't care about -most- extra stuff that comes with games...usually. Star Wars ftw <333333333

Dark Souls.
The prequel was magnificient and they said that they made the sequel harder, added way more stuff and balanced mages. This is extremely cool.

I haven't bought a game in ages. :x I honestly think that White was the last game that I bought... My money this summer went to comics instead, plus I don't have a 3DS yet to rake in games for that. I do have Batman: Arkham City pre-ordered, though. :3

So, I got Driver and Deus Ex at the weekend. Major love for both titles, even if Deus Ex has been a fucking frustrating affair.

I can't explain just how much I have a hardcore need to play Arkham City though. Will be glad to get a go in Birmingham in a week or so, but it'll make the wait for it even more painful.

The last game I purchased was Black. I'm cheap when it comes to games, so I usually only buy spinoffs of Pokemon or non-Pokemon games if they either offer something to enhance the main Pokemon or are really cool, like Zoo Tycoon. I like building games. :D

Last game I bought were Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Make sure you keep frequent and numerous saves. And maybe don't bother doing a stealth run until they've patched the game.

(I've now decided that, in my frustration against the bugs in this game, it now means that every single enemy from here on in has to die to death).

My latest game purchase was a cheap copy of Trauma Center Second Opinion (£4.50 cheap for us Brits.) It's not a bad game, but it's quite annoying at times.

My latest preorder would be Gears of War 3. I'm still at two minds about Modern Warfare 3, but I'm leaning towards giving it a miss since MW2 and Black Ops failed to impress.

Finally got my hands on Star Fox 64 3D this past Saturday, and it's a sexy remake alright. Easily the best display of 3D I've seen on the 3DS so far.

I also went a little nuts and pre-ordered four games for the hell of it: Sonic Generations (PS3), Mario Kart 7, Mario Land 3D, and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. I'll probably be changing my Rune Factory pre-order however because it's apparently coming out on PS3 as well and I had no knowledge of this until a few minutes ago. >_>

Just bought myself an Xbox 360 for £60 of the boyfriend's little brother. Since I've already played the games that interest me the most (Final Fantasy 13, Fables 2 and 3, Dragon Age and Infinite Undiscovery) I decided to pick up Dragon Age 2 for £15.

As far as games go, it's very much a missable experience. The game is fairly dull compared to Dragon Age 1 with the same 6 dungeons being used over and over for any mission, and the battle system seems like a simplified version of Dragon Age 1.

I've went and pre-ordered the two Mario games for 3DS and then the release date for the new Layton game for DS was announced this morning so I'll probably pre-order that at some point too.

I picked up Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Super Pokemon Rumble on Friday. So far Kirby's RtD is pretty much what I expected and co-op play is really fun, and Super Pokemon Rumble is surprisingly different from the original. Same core gameplay, but many, many additions. I'm enjoying both so far. :)

Well, the Steam Halloween sales have been on (discounts on all horror themed games), so I got myself LIMBO - it's a pretty fun platformer - gets a little tricky at times, but eh. I'm hoping to get a pre - order on Skyward Sword, seeing as it's going to be one of the last few decent games on Wii before it dies off as a console altogether.

I've got Super Pokemon Rumble and Mario Kart 7 on pre-order. I'm still deciding on whether or not to get Mario 3D Land... I probably will, if only because I seriously lack 3DS games XD

Same but I've preordered Mario 3D Land due to a lack of games I only use it for trading between black and white atm because I completed Lego Star Wars. But I really want Super Pokemon Rumble the pain is actually agonising when your region is last

I'll be getting Sonic Generations today, but I still have three other pre-orders to pick up after this. :D

I've decided not to bother pre-ordering Skyrim simply because I don't foresee problems getting my hands on it. With so much else to play right now, I'm not in a huge rush to dive into another massive game anyways. Gotta leave room for Skyward Sword.

The game I most recently bought was Minecraft, but that was a while ago. Next week I'm gonna buy Portal 2, which I'm looking forward to since I played Portal.

Well, yesterday I preordered Skyrim, and I got a preorder of Arkham City thrown in with my graphics card. Both promise to be rather excellent indeed, from what I've heard (and in Skyrim's case, played.)

I also bought BioShock 2 in a Steam sale for like £3.49, and it was utterly worth it. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did - it was an impulsive buy to sate my utter boredom at the time. Instead, I got a pretty solid shooter and a really, really fantastic story.

Apart from the 3 I already mentioned. I'm planning to buy quite a few games after Christmas due to me getting Christmas money and I get £50 from college every term (3-4 months) for 'equipment' which I already have :p

Anyways I'm planning to buy
Fallout: New Vegas - wanted to get this ages ago but didn't have the money
Grand Theft Auto - Doesn't matter which one I'm just had an urge to play it plus it will work as good stress relief ^.^
Skyrim - Again money issues at the moment
and finally Assassins Creed Revalations - Just because I'm a fan of the series

Going a bit later today to preorder Halo:Anniversary, which comes out on Tuesday c:

I'm basically using it as a judge of how the next Halo series is going to be. I am pessimistic. XD

I got Skyrim on Friday, and it is AMAZING! I've reset my game a few times to test out races, and I have settled on a Breton Destruction mage. I'm also off to the College of Winterhold to boost my magic abilities!

Also, SKYWARD SWORD. I HAS PRE-ORDERED IT. Ihave been looking forward to this for months upon months, I'm delighted that it's only 5 days away!

My last pre-order was Skyward Sword. I thought it was a great game. The story was good and temples/items were amazing. MK7 will be next on my list followed by Luigi's Mansion 2 if it is ever given a release date.

I got Skyrim a few days ago and I am in love ♥

I'm a Khajiit going by the lovely name of Magpie, which I feel rather suits my thieving, ninja-like character. Currently level 22, obviously specialising in Sneak/Archery/Light Armor/One Handed. My Lock-picking and Pick Pocketing skills are pretty high too, bwhahahaha. I adore the style of play, it's so much fun... and so satisfying when you sneak up behind someone and take 'em down. I'm such a bad person for enjoying it so </3

Luigi's Mansion was only announced recently, bit soon to be expecting a date yet, I think we'll see it over the summer or something though. :)

I picked up Tales of the Abyss 3D yesterday used for about £14. Not a bad deal really and a decent game.

I recently put preorders down on Tales of the Abyss 3D and Kid Icarus Uprising. However, my local EBGames hadn't heard anything about the 3D Classics Kid Icarus preorder bonus...

Ordered the Assassin's Creed Revelations Collector's Edition from GAME for the same price as the standard edition. Yosh. One downside is that it's PS3, while all my other AC games are Xbox. Won't matter too much as I'm quite certain the saves don't tie together in any way, but a bit annoying.

Also really tempted by Soul Calibur coming out this weekend. Might shop around for a deal...

Shopto has a good offer. Pre order stuff for free , preorder DLC character and some bobbleheads. ~20 euro cheaper than in the german gamestop.

Gonna grab that I think.

Bastion's avialable on the XBL for half-price this week (Gold members only), so I finally decided to purchase it. Can't wait to try the game out with an actual controller. :)

I've bought a Wii game today, called Sin & Punishment; Successor of the Skies. Although I know Wii games generally tend to be short and... Well, bad, I couldn't stand not buying it- Especially since it was only 12.50.

The game's a rail shooter with some fighter aspects. You can shoot your enemies along the course or use a sword for melee when you're up close. There's also at least one level where it switches into a pure fighter game, including a two-sided frontal shot.

I'm going to have a lot of fun with this game. I'm not expecting too much from the storyline or graphics- It's still a Wii game- but the action will make up for a lot of it.

I've recently obtained Skyrim, Fear 1, Fear 2, and Dead Space 2. I can't put Skyrim down, I've got my Wood Elf to level 43 already. I've also got the collectors edition of Mass Effect 3 pre-ordered and I am SO EXCITED. ♥
