Hi! i'm Emily, and I'm an administrator here at Pokécharms. I help run the site, build new features, and fix things when they go awry. In real life, I'm a programmer from England, and aside from Pokémon, I'm fond of other Nintendo games (like Metroid), FPS games, movies, and anime.

My favourite Pokémon is Porygon-Z, but I’m also fond of the “derp trifecta” – Dunsparce, Bidoof, and Stunfisk. In-game, I like filling my Pokédex and occasionally breeding competitive teams – but I’m not very good at battling!

    That's because he was FlamingOrangeEevee, aka a vast number of sockpuppets of the same, and we caught on to him trying to sneak back into 'Charms again even though it's been made abundantly clear that any such attempt will be nucleated upon arrival. SO there's that.

  Hey Teapot, is there some problem with the creative corner at the moment? I've attempted to upload the last part of Green Arrow: Eternal a few times now, but it keeps saying "A server error occurred." Is it because of all the tags added to it for all the characters used or is it a problem with Charms itself?

    It probably exceeds the tag limit. Try reducing it to about 20 tags or less and try again.

  Hey, I've noticed everything is seemingly set to read as "3 Hours ago" even if it was just posted a moment ago. It just adds three random hours to every post date. Not sure if it's on my side or not.

    It is most likely on your side, try checking your phone clock/ date and time in the settings and try to align it with your timezone or just add 3 hours to it since that seems to be the problem right now

    Also, this "something" is basically having people come up with a scenario they had in mind and I can calculate the damage for them. Seems like a very small thing to do and the damage calculator on Pokemon Showdown is better though, but it is just interesting to have. I was going to go through the process of what I did, too and wasn't so sure if I could take the picture from Bulbapedia of the damage formula.

  Hey, I was wondering about something. I've got a plot thread for an RP involving a legendary that I was hoping to get checked over. I tried creating a PC with Stellar about it, since the PRP rules state that Stellar's the one to ask about that. However, I posted that on Saturday and still haven't gotten a response...     Ah, understandable. I get how hectic and stressful and busy being an admin for a big site like this can be (I mean I'm not one myself but still ).   So I’ve been wanting to ask this now since I’m probably the only person here that uses younger characters a little too much... and I have been wondering, is there anything in the rules having a baby version of Pokémon that do not evolve? (By that, I mean like having a younger version of a Heatmor for example since normally the species is depicted as being big and does not have any evolutions.)

    Any question regarding "is there anything in the rules" can be clarified, by, you know, reading the rules. If it isn't mentioned in the rules as prohibited, it isn't prohibited! A younger, smaller, etc. version of a Pokemon is fundamentally the same as an odd color morph or having a scar or something like that. They happen and are perfectly fine.

  Hmm... I would have to presume that there is a limit to how big my signature could be after looking at my signature a bit more carefully. (Which brings me the question of is the limit based on the amount of content or the size of it, as in the amount of space it takes up when one were to look at the signature at first.)

  So, I've been noticing something when people are tagging other members in RP forums or when posting art. If there are too many tags on the post, they will all cancel each other out and not tag anybody at all. My question is, do you know the limit of how many people can be tagged in a post before they cancel each other out?

  I’d like to ask a quick question reguarding the ignore function. So, when I ignore someone, what specifically happens when I ignore that person? (I.e. They cannot message me and I cannot message them, my online status is invisible to them, they cannot see my name at all, etc.)

    It's because you've smashed|them|all|together|like|this – put some spaces in and it'll wrap properly. As an aside, I literally cannot read the text on your About Me – I might suggest changing the colours and font you use so it doesn't just blend into the white background?
