"Thanks Matt." Alan said with a polite smile as he took a seat next to Jez. Grovyle taking the seat next to him. "I don't know if ive told you yet but we're having a gathering in My dorm room tonight, to try and lift everyone's spirits after that terrible incident." Alan said with concern in his voice " I really hope you can make it"

"I wouldn't be so sure, I have enough faith in grovyle." He retorts to Jez's comment while reaching over to pat his pokemon on the head

"Liam did pretty well. He's the weakest on the team simply because I've had the others for years and him only a few weeks," she revealed.

"I'm proud of how much effort he puts in against much stronger pokemon," she said as she petted him and held up an Oran berry for him and held out a chesto berry for Vixie.

"So what's Celadon like?" she asked her fellow Kantoan. "Big city in the big country? Cinnabar is a bit big but it's almost entirely made of scientific families and fisherman," she said. "Hard to travel anywhere new without your own boat or water pokemon."

"It was hard to live there" Alan confessed "My father owned a Casino in the city and was almost never home, after my brother left home I was enrolled in a private school. I was alone almost every day after that" Sadness washed over Alan as he recounted the circumstances of his childhood "My father never wanted me to become a trainer, we actually haven't spoken since I transferred here. The same could be said for my brother... He ran away to Hoenn to live with our uncle in Lavaridge before attending here. Home life was... rough for us.." Alan trailed off and looked away obviously upset about the memories that were surfacing

"I can relate to that..." Jezebel said, her voice trailing off. "My parents are both very accomplished but... I don't know. Mom is always gone, taking every second of overtime she can get, even though we're well off without it. And Dad... Dad is just weird," she said, unsure how else to describe it.

"I mean... I'm proud to be their daughter but they're scientists first and parents last. They always made that clear..."

Lexie pondered for a moment, taking in all of her options. "Maybe we should try to do a little bit of everything," She suggested, "That way, our training is well rounded. We don't miss out on anything." She looked over at her Sandile, Totodile, and Eevee, who were still engaging with Matthew's pokemon. "If something bad happens, I want to be able to help, and I know my pokemon do too. So I think it would be a good idea to just include all aspects of training. I don't mean go overboard or push ourselves too hard." She sighed. " I just really want to be prepared for any challenge that may come our way." She slightly smiled, "This is the new and improved Lexie, who won't be scared so easily."

OOC: Not as good as the first one I made, but here it finally is!

IC: With the lowered Defense caused by Metal Sound, that Smack Down must've stung. thought Wes with a gleam in his hazel eyes. As the opposing trainer issued his command, Quilava began to strike Growlithe in quick succession; each hit draining the Pokemon's energy. It stumbled to the ground after a particularly hard blow and cried out in pain. Wes gritted his teeth with rage, knowing that his partner was in trouble. With a fidget of his glasses, Wes yelled,

"Alright, Growlithe, use Flame Burst on the ground once more!" the Pokemon ignited it's inner flame, fueled by the anger in his trainer's voice. It's maw began to glow a bright crimson as the shining orb of flame grew within. With a howl of defiance, the orb was unleashed as a blazing inferno that struck the ground beneath the Pokemon's feet. The explosion's force sent the Puppy Pokemon into the air once, allowing it to narrowly dodge the Quilava and lead it into the blaze of undeniable energy. Growlithe flew across the arena and landed as a singed mass of burning fur and gleaming eyes.

Wes peered to the other side of the field as the electrical current of unavoidable light energy was absorbed by the body of his partner. Shieldon called out with a harsh voice as it tried to move its paralytic limbs to flee from the already charging Luxio. Wes grimaced at the situation and shouted in vain,

"Shieldon, you have to move!" The Pokemon gasped at the strain of trying to move its own limbs as electricity swarmed around the opposing Spark Pokemon. This is it, we're not going to win this. his mind confessed quietly to Wes. The young trainer adjusted his glasses and stared at his partner, rendered speechless by the voice inside of his head. The creature locked eyes with its trainer and at that moment, everything seemed to vanish around the pair. The fire of the Pokemon's eyes fought wildly against the deepening shadows of Wes' as he slowly accepted defeat. Suddenly, the trainer's mind flooded with images of the journey he took to get to that very moment. Shieldon stared intensely into the eyes of his trainer, as if willing the images to come forth into his mind. The realization of hope struck the trainer then and he knew that he could not give up so easily. We can do this! he thought determinedly as he pointed fiercely at the opposing Luxio,

"Smack Down!" he shouted as Shieldon came to the same solution. The Charge Beam seemed to flow towards Shieldon at slow motion as the Pokemon stomped defiantly into the earth with a raging light in it's eyes, levitated a football-sized rock before it's mighty skull, and sent the object hurdling away at a blinding speed. The stone cut through the oncoming beam of light, sending the energy to either side of it, and found it's mark on the opposing creature's exposed chest.

OOC: That post was amazing! I can't even believe you did something better!
IC: Mike was prepared for another flame burst to the ground. "Quilava jump to Growlithe and make him go down!" Quilava used momentum and jumped higher than Growlithe then kicked Growlithe to the earth. The puppy Pokemon didn't even know what was going on. Then, Mike saw Shieldon's Smack Down go through the charge beam and hit the Pokemon in the chest. "Luxio no!" Mike cried out. Then, with the remaining power Luxio had in him he unleashed a shockwave powerful enough to stop a Gyrados aimed at Shieldon.

OOC: Be prepared for some drama in this one.

IC: Wes' eyes clouded once more with defeat as Growlithe fell to the earth with a yelp and Shieldon skidded to a halt across the field as a steaming mass. The Pokemon twitched as an arc of electricity passed through the air and back into it's body with a buzzing noise. The trainer stood weakly as the realization struck him that he had lost the battle. He pressed the buttons of the capsules on his holder to return his unconscious partners and turned away from the fight, lost within the darkness that enveloped his mind. Dratini took a quick look at it's trainer before slithering up his legs and torso to his shoulder. It began slightly caressing his cheek with it's serpent-like head and sounding apologies in a small voice. The trainer had finally found his road block. On the verge of breaking down before the entire class, the trainer fled out the door of the room and then eventually exited the building. He ran around the building, tears streaming down his face and fogging up his thick-rimmed glasses. Wes fell to the earth behind a dumpster with a whimper. I've failed them. he thought feebly as he curled up into a ball on the concrete. Dratini tried to voice its apology in it's light voice, yet abruptly disappeared in a blinding crimson flash. The trainer sat alone, unleashing all the pent up fear and anger out into the world. I failed. his mind said again.

The trainer, yet not physically doing so, had vowed to his Pokemon that he wouldn't be weak and hold them back from their true potential. That night he had spent sleepless while Shieldon guarded the door had generated new fear for the young man in the darkness. The darkness had molded his fear and anger of the terrorists to determination and self-guilt. He created the fantasy that his fall into unconsciousness the day the explosives shook the campus was a sign of weakness. If he hadn't spiraled into his mind he could have stopped the people who had done it with the help of his Pokemon. After the training session, Wes thought that he had become stronger and gotten over his guilt. Yet, the loss of the battle hit home and he realized that he had done nothing at all to better himself. He had let his Pokemon down because he wasn't a good enough trainer.

Did I win? Mike thought confused. Then he saw Growlithe laying at the earth and Shieldon standing still buzzing with electricity. "I did it. I actually did it," Mike said. He silently congratulated himself for a while. "Return guys, you did a great job," Mike said. He proceeded to call back his Pokemon. Then he saw Wes leave the room.
"Wes wait!" Mike said while running to Wes. But the trainer didn't seem to hear him. Wes and Mike exited the building but Mike couldn't find Wes. Eventually, Mike found Wes curled up in a ball behind a dumpster. He must feel terrible. Mike thought. Then, Mike remembered how Wes was unconscious at the bombing yesterday. Oh no. He must've thought he was weak. He tried to prove himself by fighting me after training but still lost. Mike realized that when Wes lost, he was thinking that he was weak. Training his Pokemon and then failing them the day after he became unconscious in a bombing, he must think he's a failure or something. Mike thought. "Hey Wes, I know that you feel bad after losing but that doesn't make you a bad trainer. You cared for your Pokemon, looked after them, trained with them. One loss doesn't make you a failure. Besides the only reason I won was because my Pokemon evolved. I bet if you were the trainer I fought yesterday instead of Alan, you would've won," Mike told Wes trying to make him feel better.

OOC: So, in this post I tried to make Mike empathetic but I think I might've made him think exactly what you put rb3. Sorry if that's the case. Thanks for the amazing character (Wes) and for helping me write better. I still probably only put half of what you wrote. (Not specifically but in length)

Wes noticed footsteps approaching the dumpster and tried to hide deeper against the wall. He clutched Growlithe's Pokeball tightly upon his belt which quivered in recognition. Understanding what he had done upon hearing the footsteps, he dejectedly pulled his hand away from the ball. I can't rely on them right now. he thought grimly while trying to blink away his tears. Wes' glasses had fallen to the ground during his episode, which further revealed that he was crying in the corner. Just before the footsteps reached him, the trainer grabbed his glasses and ran around the building to escape. He heard the sympathy in Mike's voice as he left him behind, not willing to give himself up so easily.

The trainer sped across the moving sidewalks toward the dorm building, sniffling to himself silently. As he stepped off of the ride, his hands pulled the hood of his black hoodie over his head to hopefully mask the puffy eyes and tears. He rushed to his dorm quietly, thankful that class was still in session. The PDA in his dark jean pocket pulsed and Room 315 clicked open. Wes shut the door heavily behind him, making sure to lock it thoroughly. Looking down at the three Pokeballs on his jeans, he grabbed each and tossed them to the unoccupied bed in the room. He took of his shoes, dove into his own cot with a heavy sigh, and smothered his face into a pillow.

Not particularly interested in watching his classmates battle, and still quite torn up from the discussion about the circumstances about his childhood Alan excuses himself from the group of friends that had formed around him. Silently exiting the classroom, his hands in his pockets.

Stepping back out into the gradually warming morning air Alan was loitering/moping outside the conference center when Wes suddenly burst past him. The trainer, an acquaintance of his was visibly upset as he frantically made his way towards the dorms and Alan Checking the time on his pda saw that he still had quite a bit of time until he was supposed to meet his brother. Opting to follow Wes Alan trailed the boy back to his dorm room. retriving a small metal capsul from his own room before walking next door and knocking softly on Wes's door.

As a knocking sound came from the door, Wes awoke with a gasp. His limbs were lathered with sweat from his troubled dreams and he breathed harshly. Not wanting to be found out, the trainer sat in silence; hoping that whoever was outside would leave. He clutched a pillow to his chest and breathed into it so his upset breathing was masked.

Something must've gone terribly wrong in the classroom that day. Matthew thought that he'd be able to witness more of the battle between Wes and Mike but by the time he got done congratulating Jezebel and Alan their battle was over and Wes was nowhere to be seen. Not too long after Wes' disappearance, Mike suddenly ran out of the class. He was also observing Alan and Jezebel in a conversation that didn't seem too upbeat for either of them. Several minutes after their conversation it was then Alan who exited the classroom. Matthew was just looking around with a puzzled expression on his face. "What happened to all of them?" he asked himself. He assumed that both Wes' and Mike's disappearance had something to due with their battle but for Alan it was most likely a different trigger. The boy knew he couldn't do much about it at the moment and decided to just take a seat on the bleachers. He released Chimchar from his Pokeball and let the little monkey sit on his shoulder. He sighed, "And what are we going to do about you Chimchar?" he asked with a hopeful smile. The little fire monkey looked away from its trainer and ignited his tail fire. Matthew quickly moved his head back to avoid the burn and laughed a bit, "Chimchar you've got to calm down buddy." he said.

Jezebel called Vixie and Liam back to their pokeballs, leaving Ammon to be carried. She quietly followed Alan out of the classroom, out of equal parts of suspicion and concern. She how difficult it was to open up about family.

Although her concern shifted to Wes as she saw the boy racing for his dorm. As she and Alan went to go check on him, she couldn't help but whisper to Alan, "How much you want to bet he's overreacting about something?"

Jumping into the air Alan yelped like a little girl. He had no idea that Jez was behind him the whole time "You scared the shit out of me!" He yell/whispered. Before knocking on the door again, this time louder "Wes, it's Alan!"

Jezebel broke out into nearly uncontrollable laughter. "Oh man, oh my go-" she cuts off into another fit of giggles. "Alan, that made my day," she told him, roughly nudging his arm with her elbow.

When her eyes turned back to the door, they showed equal parts frustration and worry. "Come on, Wes; we're worried about you. You seemed upset when we saw you in the halls."

Mike waited for a bit and then Wes began to run away from him. Mike sighed. He'll come around eventually, I hope. Mike thought. He began walking back to class. When he got there he saw that most of his friends were gone. He noticed Matthew sitting by the bleachers. He decided to sit with him and talk."Hey. Things seem to be bad for Wes. I'm going to head to my dorm and relax for a while, see you at lunch," Mike said before standing up and leaving the room. When he was walking to his room he saw Jez and Alan in front of Wes's door. Mike paused to talk to them,"Don't bother, just wait. He'll be fine in a bit." Mike proceeded to walk to his room and lay in his bed.

Giving up on checking on Wes Alan walks next door and unlocks his room. "Wanna come hang out, before I head off campus?" He asks Jez holding the door open after Unlocking it.

Jezebel shrugged, her smirk back in place. "I might as well since I'm already cutting class," she told him as she walked past him into his dorm.

Giving a little twirl as she looked around she plopped on Alan's bed. "So, you already have the stuff for the party?" she asked. "I used to love the parties at my old school in Kalos," she shared, grinning widely at the fond memories.

As Mike was lying down he heard somebody open the door. Then, Jez was laying in Alan's bed. "We still have our Single Battles, remember Jez," Mike told the other trainer. He heard them talk about supplies for the party. "Hey Alan, I know you said something about meeting your brother and I decided to come with you, but can it be quick? I planned something else for Free Period," Mike told his roommate.

"Nope, I'll be leaving in like thirty minutes to meet my older brother. He's bringing the 'party favors'" he says with air quotes and a wink "I've polished off most of my supply" he says with a slight laugh and a gesture towards several large empty bottles in his duffle bag.

He enters the room closing the door behind him and kicking several charred clothing items against the bottom before crossing the room and opening the window.

"I wonder if Mike's asleep?" Alan asks rhetorically as he sits down on the bed next to Jezz and removing the small metal cylinder from his pocket. Opening it reveals an earthy Stunky like smell. "Charmander I require your assistance" he says releasing the little fire Pokémon from its ball.

Lexie turned around to see Matthew and his pokemon were gone. "Wha-" she had a very confused look on her face. "Well, okay." She said as she figured he had a good reason for leaving. She checked her phone and sighed. "I'm not really in the mood to do anything." She frowned and looked at her pokemon. "Hey, do you guys just want to go back to the dorms and relax?" She suggested. They all cried out in agreement and tackled her. She caught them all in her arms and laughed. "Alright, let's go." She tightly held them as she ran across campus, back to the dorm rooms. She slipped the key into the lock and turned it, pushing the door open. She walked in and closed the door behind her. I haven't seen Jez in awhile, I hope she's okay, she thought as she looked over at her friend's bed. She plopped down in her own bed, her pokemon all sprayed around her. She grabbed her phone and sent Jezebel and quick text, "I hope you're doing well! Take it easy, don't fall off any Steelixes." She hit send and placed the phone down on the nightstand next to her bed.

Jezebel responded to the text with, "Was not planning to and thanks to the power of Tylonol, I can actually walk like an independent adult! :D Alan and I tied in Doubles class today. Where were you?"

Turning back to Alan, she went back to the subject of the party. "So what all are we having for party favors? Beer, liqour, vodka? God, I love vodka! Used to swipe from my Grandmother's stash all the time," she said, smiling from ear to ear. "You know, she actually raised me more than either of my folks. She and Granddad made sure I finished school, got good grades, ect. She hates pokemon though..."

Lexie heard her phone buzz and she checked to see that Jez responded. "Glad you're able to function like a human now! I wasn't really feeling class so I skipped. See you when you get back to the dorms!" She hit send and set the phone back down. Her stomach growled and she rustled through her drawers and found a chocolate bar she's been stashing. She took a couple of bites of it and set it down on the nightstands, next to her phone. She looked over to her pokemon and saw that they were sound asleep. She gently got back into and looked up at the ceiling, reflecting on everything.

Picking Charmander up and setting him on the bed Alan lights his joint in the fire of Charmanders tail. Taking a drag he replies to Jez "probably beer and rum"

Alan then passes to Charmander on the left who takes a hit of its own before attempting to pass to Jez

"Thanks but I don't do pot," she told him. 'I like a bit more unorthodox stuff,' she added silently. "You know, come to think of it, I could use a trip to town; Dad may have sent me something. I think I'll join your trip for party favors after all," she told Alan as Ammon made bubbles to try to get rid of the smoke.

"That's" *cough* "disappointing" Alan says as Charmander hands it back "we'll probably leave fairly soon" snuffing it out and returning it to the metal capsule he strokes charmanders head before returning the Pokémon to its ball.
"Mike? Are you coming?"

Mike smelled smoke in the room. Not again. Mike thought. He decided to stand up. He noticed that Alan was the one that made the smoke. He's gonna kill himself with all that alcohol and drugs. "Hey Alan is seeing your brother going to be quick? Because I have something planned for free period. Oh and, are you trying to burn my room again?" Mike said.

"I'll be the only thing blazing in here today" Alan replies before devolving into a fit of laughing and coughing. "I can't make any promises but you can always head back on your own"

Alan then hops off the bed offering Jez a hand

"Personally, my favorite is Poketamine," she whispered to him, taking his hand while holding Ammon with the other. "You know, the pokemon tranquilizer? My Dad bribes me with the stuff," she explained in a giggle. "He should be sending me some; you can try some if you want," she offered with an easygoing smile.

She couldn't help but remember the first time she had the stuff. She had only been ten years old for a couple days and she was being shipped back to K alos to live with her grandmother's for the school year instead of being allowed to start her own pokemon journey. She had been so angry; as usual her mother just ignored her and kept working. Her dad, the only one of her parents who actually cared, listened to her but quickly tired of her ire. Instead of putting his foot down or just hearing her out, he put pokemon tranquilizer in her drink and kept doing so until she was hooked. Then it was just a matter of holding the stuff over her head in return for good behavior.

Matt was sitting in class still as it was almost time for free period. In the time he was waiting Mike did come back only to announce that he was leaving again to go back to his dorm. The trainer waved as he watched his friend leave and was sitting on the bleachers with his Chimchar. Once class was over Matthew decided to walk back to the dorms. He walked up to room 311 and unlocked the door. Upon entering the room he tossed his bag onto his bed and sighed, "Well looks like it's time for free period." he said, trying to figure out what he was gonna do during the time being. "More training maybe?" Matthew asked himself as he took a look at Chimchar. He then shook his head, expelling the idea from his mind. He saw no point in overworking his Pokemon especially since they weren't getting anywhere that fast. As long as he had time then he didn't see a need to rush things.

He sat on his bed and looked through his drawer. He pulled out a comb and randomly began to comb his hair. "What to do...what to do." the trainer said quietly out loud to himself as he pondered his options. He knew that this get together that Alan had been talking about wasn't going to happen until later but he needed something to do now. "Well...I didn't eat very well this morning so I might as well fill up now." he said, placing the small black comb back in his nightstand drawer. The boy stood up and whistled for Chimchar to go with him. The little monkey obliged and hopped onto his trainer's shoulder as he exited the room. Matt pressed a few buttons on his PDA and his room locked itself up. He walked down the hall and continued downstairs. He then made his way into the cafeteria and grabbed some bowls. He filled them with kibble and placed them on the table before releasing Mareep and Deino from their Pokeballs. Chimchar hopped off Matt's shoulder and the three of them got right to eating. Matthew smiled at his Pokemon before heading into line to grab some food of his own. He didn't want to eat too much considering they also had lunch soon but he did need something to hold him over until then. He grabbed some chips and and chocolate bar and sat down at the table. He tore open the bag of chips and started eating. "It isn't very productive but, at least it's something." the boy thought to himself as he munched on the chips.

"You guys are weird. Thinking drugs are good and stuff. Whatever, Alan I'll meet you at the school's exit, I'm headed to the cafeteria," Mike said. Mike headed downstairs and went to the cafeteria. He got a hot dog, a biscuit, chicken nuggets, and an orange. He saw Matthew and his Pokemon eating at a table. He sat down and released his Pokemon. He made their Pokepuffs and started eating himself.

"I'm going to meet up with Alan in a bit so I'm eating quickly. Do you wanna come? He's going to meet up with his brother and get supplies for tonight's party. I'm not going to be there for long so I can teach Gible some new moves for Single Battles. But if you're doing nothing, I'm pretty sure Alan won't mind you coming," Mike told Matthew.

Alan heads off still slightly buzzing as makes his way towards the school gates. Meeting the friends that chose to accompany him beneath the twisting brass arch that greets each visitor to the campus.
"We're going to have to catch a Tram to South city" Alan explains "it's just across the river"

The group makes their way across the massive city park catching glances from many of the towns people. BTU trainers have quite a reputation here in the city. The pro is filled with people enjoying the lovely spring day. Picnickers and cyclists accompanied by swarms of block bots are everywhere enjoying the beauty of nature as well as the comfort of the accessible technology of the advanced city.

After passing through the park the group arrives at the tram station on the edge of the business district which sits in the shadow of the battle tower, another Larousse City landmark.

A cluster of block bots waits just outside the tram "Direct Line to South City" it says in a cheerful robotic voice while displaying a large expressive and happy face on the screen formed by the cluster of smaller screens. "Identification Please" it repeats to each trainer as they display their BTU PDAs to the robot as it repeats "have a nice trip" to each one as they board the tram.

Several minutes after the group finds seats the tram takes off. Outside the windows the innumerable wind turbines that power the city whip by as the spin over the sparkling crystalline waters below. The entire ride took only a few minutes after which the group disembarked, a silhouette of Larousse city visible across the river. Waiting at the station is a tall man with messy brown hair. He is wearing a white button up shirt and brown cargo pants and bares a striking to resemblance to Alan.

"Long time no see, little brother" the man says ruffleling an obviously displeased Alan's hair.

"Hello Dalton"

"Looks like you actually managed to make some friends, one of them even pretty cute" Continues Dalton winking jokingly at Jezz. "Well I'm sure you're taking you're studies incredibly diligently" he laughs "so let's get out of town and do this thing" The man then turns on his heels Revealing three Ultra Balls on his hip that had been concealed beneath the bottom of his shirt and begins walking away from the station leading the group into a forest on the edge of town.

Several minutes of a walk into the forest you arrive at a clearing where a large duffle bag is resting atop a freshly hewn stump

"Now the party favors are great and all" Dalton child's his brother "but we both know that's not the real reason you came out here "

"Meaning?" Jezebel said, resting one hand on her hip near her pokeballs. She still didn't trust Alan completely and his brother even less so.

"If we didn't come here for beer, why are we here, Alan," she pressed, still on edge from the attack at school. This wasnt helped by the fact that her back had started aching again since she forgot to take another dose of Tylonol.

The wall phone in Wes' room rang multiple times as the trainer sat below it, cord hanging down to his form which was wrapped in a blanket. After the sound of footsteps came from the door, Wes had a sudden need to call his mother. He sat in silence as a muffled sound came from the phone,

"Hello?" a feminine sounding voice said questioningly. Solely the sound of his mother's voice cleared the trainer's head as he responded calmly to the woman,

"It's me, Mom." his voice was quiet as a squeal erupted from over the line followed by a string of quick words,

"Oh, honey! I was so worried. I saw the thing on the news an-and... I couldn't reach you because the phone lady said I didn't have clearance and then I tried again and I was so worried!" Wes' mother seemed to break down over the line before laughing lightly with the lilt of worry in her voice, suddenly getting a hold on herself. A faint smile spread across his lips as he spoke,

"I'm fine, everything's fine. I wasn't even near the building." he said cautiously, not wanting to upset his mother even more. The voice on the other side was silent as Wes imagined her suspicious gaze. She finally responded,

"Well, alright. There must've been a reason why you called me." She always knows, doesn't she. he thought with a nervous laugh before diving into the whole truthful tale. He explained everything from the bombing, to his thoughts, to his worries, and to the battle and training that he had done. The voice stayed silent as her son finished the tale, trying to discern all of the information she was given. Finally, she sighed and simply said,

"Honey, I know you're strong." Wes sat in disbelief as his mind cleared. She always knows what to say. he thought as he twiddled with the phone cord. What was that episode anyway. I was acting like a childish, emotional female just then. I really need to chill out. his mind thought in realization as he answered,

"Thanks, Mom. I guess I'm fine now." The voice answered with an evident smile,

"Alright, Wesley. Have a good day." Wes nodded in reply before noticing that she couldn't see him,

"Yeah, you too." he responded before reaching up and placing the phone on it's holder. Wes peered over to the three Pokeballs on the bed to the right of the room. I'm sorry guys. he thought before standing, rubbing his eyes, and walking over to the bed. The trainer tapped each button in succession, answered by the cry of his Pokemon and the blinding light of their appearance. They all leaped onto him with cries of joy and they lay together on the opposing cot as a family once more.

Dalton doesn't say a word as he taps the button one one of the Ultra Balls on his belt. From it a stream of light pours onto the ground growing upward and taking the shape of a Charizard. The great orange dragon takes a deep breath upon release exhaling two jets of shimmering hot air from its nostrils.

Alan and the Charizard lock eyes for a moment before in another flash of red Alan's Charmander broke itself free from its pokeball. The little Pokémon was deadlocked on charizard from the moment it appeared. Charmanders face was twisted with what could only be described as rage, while the Charizard gazed down on it with a look of disappointment

"Your Charmander hasn't even evolved yet" Dalton laughs "we both know how this is going to end"

After Mike left with Alan and apparently Jezebel as well, Matthew got up from his table and walked outside. "I wonder if BTU has a library." he asked himself, pulling out his PDA. He followed the little paths and landmark dots on the map until he came across the school's library. "That must be the place." he said with an accomplished smile. Matt was pretty sure that this was the first time he found a place on this campus by himself. "Well guys let's get going." he said as he began walking towards the building. He noticed his Pokemon were lagging behind after their large meals and the student began to laugh a bit. "Alright then you guys can have some rest." he said as he returned all three Pokemon to their Pokeballs. He reattached the three red and white balls to his belt and kept walking. Now that his Pokemon ate and were getting some proper rest he was sure that maybe even just one of them would be ready to evolve super soon.

Matthew approached the library and sighed, "My mom would be surprised if she saw me right about now. Me willingly going into a library of all places, and in my free time no less." the boy said as he closed his eyes and smiled little reluctantly. He stepped inside the building and was hit with a completely different atmosphere. The more he thought about it the more he realized that he's never seen any of the people in the library on the campus at all. "Do they just skip class all day and come here?" he asked himself as he took timid steps into the main room of the library. At this point, Matthew literally had no idea what he was doing. He didn't even remember why he wanted to come to the library in the first place. "Yeah this isn't gonna work." the boy said. "Who actually comes here for...well for anything?" he asked himself, looking around at all the people trying to find out what they were actually doing based on his observation alone.

The library is actually relatively crowded. Being an entirely separate building from the Acedemic center many of the higher years Acedemic classes had been moved to this location temporarily. Around you a variety of signs are posted for much smaller groups of students. From where you're standing you can see signs for; Indroduction to Herbal Medicine, Physics of Arial Combat, Mega Evolution Theory, Pokémon Breeding, Study of Prehistoric Pokémon, Ethics of Pokémon evolution, and Human and Pokémon Dynamics.

Jezebel looked at Alan in shock. "You're having Charmander fight a Charizard?! Do you want him to get hurt?!" She screeched. She didn't think Alan's brother would deliberately hurt the smaller pokemon but in a battle that is so one-sided, it was going to be unavoidable.

"Alan, if you care about Charmander, don't let him do this," she begged him, placing a hand on his arm.

"Even if I called him back, he wouldn't listen." Alan gestures towards the Charizard "these two are brothers too.."

Meanwhile Charmander was in a rage. The little lizard trying it's best to be intimidating, and failing rather cutely
"If I don't support him, he may not forgive me"
