[Retro Master]

Riley had dazed off when he heard Chloe which caused him to snap back into reality. "What?!", he exclaimed jumping into a defensive stance before noticing it was Chloe. "Oh, hey Chloe.", he said calming himself down before answering her question.

"Nothing much. I just got the news that Drew is dead and I've been thinking about it.", he said before pausing. "Wait, I should be asking how you're holding up. I mean your long lost brother just died so that must really suck. So how are you dealing with it?", he asked.

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
" I really never knew the guy." She said. " So it doesn't hurt so much. though it's terrible how he died. it being a suicide and all." She looked at him. " Anyways mister champion what are you doing out here." She looked at his face.

 

[Retro Master]

"I don't know really. I was just taking a walk to clear my mind when I came across this beautiful view.", he said looking at Chloe. "Um, I mean the-the lake.", he exclaimed stuttering when he saw her staring at him.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri looked back to see Alex walk up to him, he and Pichu both tilted their head trying to tap into the nostalgia of the walking building, Kiri then smiled as he looked at Alex "Yo, that happened a long time ago. It was kind of fun that I think about it, well I kinda didn't do much but it was great"

The Millotic flew through the sky and hit a wall. "Use a dragon pulse, hydro pump and ice beam all at the same time!" The giant blast came towards Gen. "Now use recover!" Siren began to heal herself.

 

[Yaspen]

(Aspen)
"Use Psychic to turn it all towards Siren!" Aspen shouted. Gen's eyes glowed blue.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

The massive projectile came towards Siren. It dodged the attack, but some of Siren's body got caught by a little bit of it. "Recover!" Siren healed herself.

 

[Jagson]

( Chloe)
"Oh yes." Chloe said. " The lake is beautiful." She looked at it. the crystal blue water reflected the sun. though part of her doughted it was the lake he was talking about.
(David)
"Sam" He said to his companion. " Wake me up when this battle ends." David put on his glasses as he closed his eyes.
(James)
James took out his phone and called Starraptor.
" What part of wait did you not understand." Staraptor said.
" My plan is to get as many civis out as possible before the place goes boom." TalonFlame said. " Also this might be our one chance to find out who is apart of the new council."
"Tread carefully." Staraptor said. " Don't want one of my best to die out of complete ignorance."
" Understood sir." James said. " I'll stay in contact."

(Alex)
"I'd like to think that we did help, diverting those weirdos' attention and all" Alex said "but anyways I've been watching the tournament on TV, it's amazing that you got this far with a Pichu"
He realised what he said might be taken the wrong way "what I mean is" he said quickly "you must be really skilled to raise a first stage evolution to be that strong"

(Joe)
Joe shook his head and walked away from Alex, he had better things to do than mess around with his brother, he needed to train, to make his team more powerful. The battles were getting tougher and tougher, the people going against him getting better and better, he wasn't about to fall behind now!

He went to an empty field and began training his Pokemon, battling them against each other

 

[Retro Master]

"Ughh, I suck at this!", Riley internally yelled at himself. Riley shook his head to ignore his previous thought. "So what are you doing out here?", he asked.

 

[Yaspen]

(Aspen)
Aspen frowned. "Dang it! Shadow Ball on all sides!"

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
"Well." She said. " I just needed some air." She said. " Also since there's an apparent bomb threat I prefer to stay outside than in a cramped building." She looked at Riley. She then looked back at the lake. 'Why can't I say anything.' She thought. " Anyways when's your match going to be?"

 

[Retro Master]

"My match was the one after the match that is after this match. But I guess they've postponed the matches or something due to the threat or is it still going? Anyways, it looked like Drew was the one claiming there was a bomb from the other part I read.", he said as he looked back at the lake.

"You know it really does suck when you think you know someone but you actually don't. And I feel like I actually knew Drew. But it turns out he was just trying to hold everything inside of him. I don't know if it's his past with his mother and all or some new development but the Drew I knew previously at the Johto Tournament and the one here are like two different people. Do you get what I'm saying? I don't even know why I'm letting this affect me or anything. He was just a stranger to me and everyone he interacted with this whole time.", he stated before taking a breath.

"Sorry again for my rambling. I just had to get that out of my system. And I guess I feel comfortable doing that around you. I hope that doesn't sound weird or anything.", he stated looking back at Chloe.

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
"It's perfectly fine." Chloe said. She unintentionally moved a little closer to Riley. " Maybe your thinking that way because you actually thought he was a friend, and it hurts when people close to you don't open up."

 

[Retro Master]

"That's true. Well it's too late now to do anything. Atleast when he died he let us know there was a bomb. Anyways, I should thank you for letting me talk to you about this. Otherwise I would've had to hold this in like Drew and I don't want to be like that.", he said still looking at Chloe. "So thanks."

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
"Your welcome." She said She put her hand onto Riley's shoulder. "If you ever need to let anything out let me know." She smiled a little bit. "My parents always said I was a good listener.

 

[Retro Master]

"Well, that's good to here. I've never really had anyone I could talk too.", he stated still looking at her. He shook his head to escape his trance. "So, um, enough of me, what about Steven, what does he think about Drew?"

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
" I haven't seen him since this whole bomb threat happened." She said. She started to worry about her younger brother wondering what might of happened to him. "Anyways it looks like it's starting to get dark." She said. " Want me to escort you back to your hotel room?"
(Steven)
He didn't know why he did it but he did it. He fallowed Drew to the IDF head quarters. He over heard everything that was happening. He wondered what he could to help. Though he couldn't help but grin. His brother was an IDF agent. that's something many people only dream about. After a good portion of the soilders left, and drew became David. Steven was able to walk around the building unnoticed.
He walked until he saw a shiny Gardivour, a Poliwhirl, and a sneasle talking. He wondered what they might be talking about. He took out his Camera and took a picture of it.
( Tess)
" I can't believe he left me here!" Tess said in a fit of rage. " He knows he'll need me." She was pissed off. not only about Drew but the whole situation they were in.
" It wasn't in the mission parameters." Polio said. Tess looked at the Poliwhirl. " Trust me I would love to be by Chris's side like I use to be but we have to be here. When he needs you you'll be there to help him. Besides it's good to know Drew has such a loyal Gardivour guarding his back." Tess could tell there something more to that statement. " I was expose to have his back way back when." Tess was shocked by that statement. " Actually Chris was planning on having one of my children be his starter."
" Well." Tess said. " Drew's first partner was a poliwrath. From what Poli told me Drew saved him when his tail was caught between a log and the bottom of a river." Tess said. From the corner of her eye she saw a bright light. " Either of you see that?"
" Yes." The Sneasle said. The three of them looked and saw Steven looking at them.
" Is he an agent?" Tess said.
" No." Polio said. " The IDF doesn't recruit kids." Tess concentrated as her eyes started to glow. The boy started to float towards them.
" What do you want." Tess said as she put Steven against a wall.

 

[Retro Master]

Riley shook his head with a slight grin. "You know I should be the one asking to escort you to your hotel room. Anyways, I still have to do my match, so I can't go yet. But I can escort you to your hotel room if you want.", he stated as the sun started to set.

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
"Well." She said. " If you insist Mr. Johto League winner." She said. She got off the rail. And looked at him. "You coming?"
(Steven)
" You can talk?" He said in disbelief as he looked at the Gardivour.
"I'm communicating with you telepathically." She said. She moved her hand up as Steven was lifted of the ground. " Why are you here."
" I fallowed a man here." Steven said. " My brother actually. I wanted to know what was going on with him."
"Your brother?" Tess said. " and who might that be?"
" Drew Leuric." He said. "Or David Winters as he's called now." He felt the psychic grip disappear as he fell to the ground.
" Your Drew's brother." the Gardivour said in disbelief. The two of them stared into each others eyes right before the Gardivour picks him up and hugs him. " What the..." He said in disbelief.
"I'm Tess." She said. " Drew's Partner. It's so nice to meet you."

 

[Retro Master]

Riley got off the rail after her. "You know I kind of like it when you call me that, but you're going to have to change it from Johto when I win here. Anyways, you get to lead the way this time.", he said with a little grin.

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
Chloe looked at him. ' he really does have a big ego.' She thought as she started walking.
(David)
David snores himself awake. " Is the fight over yet." David said.
"Nope." Sam said. Sam turned his head around to face David. David couldn't help but feel something was off about Sam. "Anyways I'm getting hungry. Want anything?" Sam said.
" No thank you." David said. Sam gout out of his seat and left.
David watched at the battle continued. He started to wonder how long this match was going on.

While they were walking, Riley checked his phone to see if the match was still going on. 'This is the longest match ever!', he thought to himself. Then he turned to Chloe to try and start a conversation while they were walking. "So, um, what type Pokemon do you have?", he asked.

 

[Jagson]

(Chloe)
Chloe turned to look at him. " Well at home I have a Decidueye and five other pokemon." She said. " But since I want to be fair against trainers when I start my league tournament career I'm going to be using my oldest partner." She threw a pokeball and a blue and purple Politoed came out. " Meet Pula Riley." Pula jumped onto Chloe. She looked at Riley.

 

[Retro Master]

Riley looked at Pula with a smile. "Nice to meet you. You know what, I'l introduce you guys to my partner. Come on out Scizor!", Riley exclaimed as the Pokemon came out it's pokeball. "Say hello Scizor.", Riley said. Scizor nodded to Pula then proceded to punch Riley in the gut, causing him to drop Scizor's pokeball. "What was that for?!", Riley exclaimed grabbing his chest. "Scizor!", was all Scizor said before clicking the pokeball to go back inside.

"Sorry about that.", Riley said trying to recover from the punch. "We have a kind of rocky relationship. Why don't you meet one of my newer partners. Come out Gardevoir!", he said sending out the Gardevoir. "It is an honor to meet you two. I am the princess of Voirade Forest. It's home to the biggest group of the Ralts family in the Pokemon world. We work together with the humans through our telepathy to work for a peaceful and bright future where humans and Pokemon can coexist. Recently we have been able to provide anti-abuse laws against Pokemon. So now how may I serve you Master Riley?", she asked almost bowing to him.

"Oh, um, I just wanted you to introduce yourself, that's all.", Riley stated. "My apologies.", she said before turning to Chloe and Pula. "Again, it is an honor to meet both of you.", she said elegantly.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Siren got hit. "Now ice beam!" This time, the attack seemed unavoidable, in Ella's eyes, as 3 blasts appeared, two from the side and one from the front. "Now Hydro pump!" I final blast came from the back towards Gen.

 

[Yaspen]

The attacks hit Gen, defeating it. But, Destiny Bond was still in play. Aspen grinned, seeing that her opponent had forgotten.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Siren's corpse lay on the ground. The Destiny Bond attack had worked! "Okay..." Ella said. It was neck and neck. "Go Blaze! A Blaziken appeared.

 

[Yaspen]

"This is it! Go, Aras!" Aspen threw the Lapras's Pokeball. "Don't fail me now!" Aras let out a battle cry. It was ready.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"Use flare blitz!" Flare covered itself in flames and it appeared like some great sphere. It crashed through the air, causing a large crater to develop as she sped through the ground towards Aras.

 

[Yaspen]

"Use Hydro Pump!" Aras sent a jet of water at the Blaziken. It wasn't in time, though, and was hit by the Flare Blitz. The attack was strong enough to take out the Lapras in one hit.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

The water extingished all the flames. Flare was sent flying, right into the stand where Patrick was. A large crater was now in the stands and many people left them. But Patrick stood there, still with a fire in his eyes, as he looked upon Ella. Ella's eyes caught his. Flare had fainted. "Flare is unable to battle." She stated.
"That means...it's a tie." Patrick said, softly.

 

[Yaspen]

(Aspen)
Aspen lifted her eyebrows. What was the protocol for a tie? A coin flip? A rematch? "Come back, Aras. You were great."
(Zoe)
Zoe was watching the battle live on the TV in the hotel room. "It's a tie!" She declared. Gavin nodded. "Yep. Both Pokemon are unable to battle, therefore it's a tie."

 

[Jagson]

(Referee)
After a few minutes the Referee walked onto the field.
"Attention everybody." He said with the kind of charisma anyone would die for. " After talking with the four judges and myself we have come up with a non unanimous victor. With a three to two approval rating. The winner and moving on to the next round is.." He stopped for dramatic effect. " Ella!"

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Patrick jumped up when he heard Ella's name being called. He went over to her. He could hug her. But Ella wasn't interested, as usual. Ella walked up to Aspen. "You almost had me there, that was a tough fight. And you're only how old?" She put her hand up to give Aspen a handshake but really Ella intended to give a friendly hug to her.

 

[Yaspen]

(Aspen)
Aspen sighed. She was out of the Tournament. "Good job, and good luck," She told the victor of the battle, and shook her hand. "I should probably get going now. My friends and my dad came out here to see me, and they're probably waiting." Then she headed back to the hotel. Maybe she could go do something.
(Zoe)
Zoe glared at the Referee on the screen. "What?!" She exclaimed.
Gavin laughed. "It was fair and square, Zoe. Just leave it be."
Aspen's dad nodded. "Let's just be proud of Aspen. She got this far, so let's let her be happy."

 

[Jagson]

David woke up. "It's finally over." He said as he looked at Ella's picture on the big screen. " I guess she won her match. good for her." David got up and walked to the PC.
He typed in the address and his ID number
" Hello pidgey." a female voice said. " who would you like to withdraw."
David showed a paper with what pokemon he needed on it.
" Coming up." The female voice said.
Three pokeballs appeared infront of Drew. before he could do anything one of them opened up and Tess appeared.
" You left me there you bastard." She said right before hugging him.
"It's okay Tess." He said. " You know your my Comrade threw all of this."
"Damn right I am." She said with a smirk on her face. before hugging him again even tighter than last time. After Drew escaped from Tess's death grip he grabbed his other two Pokeballs. One had an N engraved onto it while the other one had FB on it.
(Chloe)
"It's an honor to meet you too Princess." Chloe said.
"Politoed." Pula said. " Like wise your highness." it translated too.
" Anyways." Chloe said as she saw how dark it was getting. " We should hurry up and get back to my apartment before it get's too dark." Chloe started to walk again with Pula on her shoulder.
( James)
James walked through the dark depths of the stadium trying to find any clues.
" Nothing." He said.
"Can I help you." A familiar voice said. James turned around and saw Gabriel Cade looking at him.
"No. Just trying to find a bomb." James said. He was wondering if Cade could see through this persona and figure out that James was Chris from all those years ago.
" Well if you need any help." The man said. " My group First Strike will be there." And with that Cade walked away.
(Cade)
Cade went out of sight from the IDF agent. " Fuck." He said. He grabbed his transmitter and sent a message to the council. " We have a problem." He said. He waited back for the other members to respond

 

[Retro Master]

"Apartment?! What is this madness? How dare you...", was all the princess said before Riley returned her to her pokeball. "Oops.", Riley exclaimed. "Anyways, lead the way Chloe.", he said as he started to follow her.

(Callum)
"What is it? What's your problem?", Callum responded to Cade not knowing who he was talking too through the transmitter.

 

[Jagson]

(Cade)
He found a quite room and put his mask on. He re opened his channel to the council. He heard what Callum said before hand. He procceded to upload a picture of James.
" This is James Buchanan." He said. " The man who is spearheading the IDF search. Problem is Mr. Buchanan died more than twenty years ago."

 

[Retro Master]

(Callum)
"Well if he's still here then, I'm pretty sure he's still fucking alive. Wait, were you the one who thought you killed him? If you are, then you obviously failed whatever mission you were on. So who is he anyway?

Excuse me not knowing, I'm a relatively new member to the Council. The name's Callum, nice to meet you.", he said extending his hand to shake hands only to realize no one was there. "I'm such a fool.", he thought to himself.

"Anyways, he's obviously important since he's the leader of the operation for IDF search. If you tell me some background information, maybe we could get him to talk through another part of his life. Friends, family, businesses, or anything. I just need some information and I'll be able to take him out.", Callum said grinning.

(Riley)
"So how far is your hotel from here?", Riley asked Chloe. Then a notification appeared on his phone. "Finally, Ella and Aspen's match is over!", he thought to himself.
