Private/Closed Welcome to Ukjent High

Evie, pushing her nerves aside, cast Seven a rueful smile. This faded, though, when she noticed the girl packing weapons and rather dangerous utilizations in her belt’s pockets.
Cringing, the mindreader gently put her hand over Seven’s as she went to pack something in it, as though to suggest she stop.
“Maybe.. we shouldn’t bring the belt.” She offered softly, her chocolate eyes flickering with doubt but also reassurance. Doubt because she was worried about what was in the belt; reassurance that Seven would be alright without it.
“Is that okay?” She continued. Her voice was still soothing, still quiet.
Still cautious.

Eri walked slowly along the corridor. A pair of visible eye bags could be seen under her eyes. There's no 'school dance' on Nirvana so she spent last night binge reading those so called highschool mangas that had any 'school dance' on it,. Though, she ended up reading much more than that. Wait, why did she felt some deja vu??

Anyway, school dance seemed easy. It just students spinning each other while wearing suits and dresses, right? She already wore a full-white sleeveless dress and tied her hair into a ponytail. She also brought her invisible arsenal along, to crank up the fun. Her sunglasses was still perched on her forehead. She was ready for action!

Let's see... Everyone seemed to speaking in pair. Wait, is that Caelia in a bunny suit?? Lucky!! Oohh...!!! Now she could die happily!

There's the summoner guy speaking with Jess. Evie also here and was speaking to another people. Eri decided to approach the only guy who's still alone. Who's his name again?? She hadn't interacted much with the boys since she spent her free time playing video games.

"Hello ice boy!! Nice meeting you here. Want to partner up together? You can't dance alone. You know?"

Seven hesitated, her hand still on her belt. Should she leave the belt? From what Evie had told her already about dances, there wasn't any real need for weapons or her other tools. Still, the ninja girl felt uncomfortable about leaving her belt behind. She pretty much wore it all the time, and it had helped her out of many scrapes. But if she didn't need it, maybe she should leave it. It was a memento from her time at Raitech. She didn't need it. With a little bit of forced movement, Seven slowly took off her belt and placed it on her bed. The weapons belt lay there, like a black snake on her bunk. Seven got the feeling it was staring at her. Seven finally broke off, looking back at Evie. It was... Fine that she left the belt. She didn't... need it. If there was trouble, she could always summon her sword or use her strength.

Looking a bit forced, Seven gestured to the door of the dorm. Should we leave?

"S-S-Sure let's go then I mean there's nothing to lose," spoke Ryder with a surprised expression he hadn't expect her to honestly agree " hey can I ask you a question is there a reason you agreed or is it pity? I mean I don't get why someone who's c-c-cute as you can't get a date for the school dance I mean your popular aren't you, I just don't understand why you agreed to go." Then he pulled his phone out of pocket and looked at the time.

Evie’s eyes glittered in pride, grateful that the girl gave up the belt. With a friendly smile, Evie gestured for Seven to follow her, leading the way to the Auditorium. She could hear the music blaring from the inside, and lots of yelling. Suddenly she was really glad she’d brought the Barilite necklace.
She entered, turning around to make sure that Seven was following, worried that the girl would get lost, or overwhelmed. After all, school dances were easy to get lost in. And they were overwhelming. She screwed one of her eyes shut, looking up to Seven.
“It seems like a lot, but..” she tried, voice failing, because truthfully there was no way for her to defend it. She hated school dances. She looked around for people she recognized, but saw no one.

Seven was soon after dragged by Six to the entrance to the Girls’ Dorm. “Stop- ah- um-“ he said, as Six dragged him with a slightly more savage look on her face (alter ego).
“Ello’!” Said Six as she came across Evie. “I saw you’ a few days ago! If you didn’t hear, my name is Six. This is my brother, Seven. Not to be confused with the... other Seven.” She said, Seven hiding behind her.

"Firstly, Name's Abyss, Secondly, Never planned on dancing, but since you asked, why not?" Abyss told Eri in a I'm-done-with-this-crap voice. He held out his hand as he saw many other guys do for their dates, and he already felt a small part of him die inside.
Suppose I got nothing better to do, besides, what's the worst that could happen?
Abyss had never really been to a dance before, mostly cause he spent most of his life secluded in a desert, and even then, most thought he was a freak due to his ice powers so he hardened himself beyond caring for others, which is why he acts the way he acts.

On their way to the auditorium, Seven focused on her breathing. Calming breaths. Focusing breaths. There was nothing to be nervous about here. No one was fighting or in danger. This was supposed to be... Fun. Still feeling a little nervous, Seven followed Evie into the auditorium.

The noise hit her like a truck. It was LOUD in there. Students were dancing, and it was relatively dark. In the back of the room, a DJ could be seen on a small stage. Seems like a lot? It WAS a lot! There was so much happening, Seven was having trouble taking it all in. She had the sudden urge to get the heck out of there. But before she could, two students approached her and Evie. The ninja girl recognized them. It was the two students that hadn't shown up to class on their first day, Six and Seven. The girl, Six, had dressed up, wearing a pink sparkling dress. Seven, on the other hand, had stuck with the casual. Seven was too overwhelmed to acknowledge their approach, and merely offered them a quick, slightly frightened glance.

Parker had managed to survive the crowd of people and made his way into the corner of the auditorium. Most of the people seemed to be enjoying themselves, but he could see a few like him that looked like they would rather be dead right now. Among those people was Seven, the ninja girl. She looked scared actually, like she didn't know what to do and she might faint any second now. It looked like Evie was with her, and two others as well. He recognized one of them as the annoying boy who was chanting in the dorm some nights back. He sighed and walked up to the group.

"Hey Seven, you okay there? The annoying ones scaring you or something?"

Evie blinked as, throughout the cacophony, a vaguely familiar girl jumped out to her, introducing herself and her brother. Past the lump in her throat, Evie actually managed to splitter out some words into the chaos.
“Hi, Six. Hi, second Seven. It’s nice to meet you both!”
The shorter girl waved meekly at them, quickly noticing how tense Seven (F) was at the sudden burst of interaction. She opened her mouth to ask if tshewas okay, but it seemed someone else beat her to it. The boy who fought, the boy her pathetic little horror-loving heart gotten excited about; Parker.
He seemed to be nonchalant, otherwise disdainful of the sibling duo, but otherwise pretty relaxed, although she noticed that he, too, was a little high-strung with the events of the dance booming around them.
She waved quietly to him, too, but it seemed like his attention was diverted to Seven (F), and she figured it’d be best she didn’t butt in too much. Still, the girl looked back to Seven (F) with a hint of worry on her eyes, her lips slightly pursed.
“Hey- do you need me to take you back out to the hall? Is this too much for you-?” She asked gently, seeming more than willing to ditch everything to make sure she was alright. Evie definitely didn’t want to have dragged her out here (even though, technically, the dance was mandatory and it wasn’t her thought) only to have made Seven (F) extremely anxious.

"oh. Mine is Eri." She even forgot they hadn't introduced each other properly. She was hesitant when the boy offered his hand.

Crap!! I'm holding some invisible fart packs on my left hand!!

She abruptly moved the packs to her right hand so she could hold Abyss' hand. Hoping her partner wouldn't notice it.

"I thought you would freeze my hand or something. I heard some nasty rumour about you." Eri attempted to start a conversation while they walk to the auditorium. Wait, why was the room so loud?? She thought the dance would use a more calming song while the people dance gracefully and occasionally switch their dance partner. Did she read the wrong thing??

Seven (M) and Six waited by Parker, Evie, and Seven (F), not really sure what to do. Well, that was more of Six. Seven was tensely hiding behind her in order to avoid interacting with the female gender of a different species. Well, they were HALF their species, but still...
Seven didn’t like the loud music either. It just wasn’t his type of music. He put in headphones, and soon he began to calm down. He was putting one of his favorite Tracks on, and soon started to smile.
Six was worried about the other Seven. “Umm... second... opposite gender Seven? Are you arright?” She asked.

"Hmph, well I'm feeling nice today, so you get to have a warm hand I guess," Abyss told his dance "partner". He walked inside of the dance room to see what could only be described as total chaos. The ice manipulator had no idea what to expect from a typical dance, but from the way the girls were dressed, he felt that this music wasn't appropriate. He saw Evie, Seven(F), and two other people who he didn't know. He decided to talk to them as he knew no one else who didn't hate him.
"Hey guys, I guess I got dance partner, somehow," Abyss told Evie and Seven(F), motioning Eri's precense.

Twirling on the spot, posing as if to show off her costume, Caelia murmured, "I was told this was the most luxurious costume a rabbit could wear, a 'bunny costume', but when I tried to go to the dance they said it was inappropriate." Her brow furrowed slightly, Caelia was looking over her own dress with confusion. .Releasing a pent up sigh of frustration, she turned to Drake,"these 'dress codes' are too confusing, surely you must know something I can wear?" Unsure of what to wear, she saught the more experienced judgment of her fellow classmate, maybe he understood the illusory dress codes.

Standing with Evie, Seven noticed that quite a few fellow students were coming up and noticing her anxious condition. First Parker, then Six. Then Abyss and Eri walked up as well. Seven closed her eyes and went back to focusing on her breathing like she did in the hallway. For a few moments, the world around her seemed to vanish away.

When Seven opened her eyes, the dance really didn't seem to be as bad as before. Her ears had adjusted to the volume of the music, and her eyes had adjusted to the darkness. It was just a room full of kids flailing about. Looking to Parker, Six, and Evie, the ninja girl shook her head. She looked quite a bit more relaxed, although still a little tense.

Seven looked over at Abyss and Eri, noticing that they were holding hands. That's right, Evie had told her something about how people would take dates to dances. Although she hadn't thought Abyss would ask Eri, or anyone really. For the past week, the ice user had tried to stay distant from everyone... Seven glanced over to the others, wondering if they had dates as well.

Drake listened to Caelia's woes, a bit of a skeptical look on his face. For a moment, he didn't say anything. Finally, the teen couldn't help but to break into a smile and give a small chuckle.
"I don't know who told you a bunny costume was appropriate, but it's very not." Drake said. "It's a casual dance, Caelia. That means just wear your everyday clothes."
Drake sighed and shook his head, a smile still on his face.
"I keep forgetting that you're not from earth. Come on, I'll walk you back to the dorms. We're late for the dance anyways, I'm sure those suckers can wait a bit longer." Drake said, motioning down the hall. He shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk. "You know, I never heard where you were from."

Evie clucked her tongue quietly, her stature awkward at the silence that had fallen upon the group.
The girl let her eyes wander over to Parker, trying to fill the silence.
She fiddled with her sleeve, opening her mouth to speak.
“So- you’re Parker, right?” She asked gently, seeming a bit tentative. “I, uhm- I saw you fight Ryder, you did pretty well,” she wheedled, her compliment admittedly a little forced but otherwise genuine. She stuck her hand out for a polite handshake. “I’m Evie, by the way.”

"Yeah, thanks... I could have done better."

Parker ignored the girl's attempt at a handshake, putting his hands into his pockets instead. She seemed like the type of person Parker didn't care for too much. Naive, too trusting, she didn't seem like the person to think things through too much.

"Nice to meet you I guess. Don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine in my eyes."

He had to admit though, he's definitely met worse people.

Evie pursed her lip faintly as he shoved his hands in his pockets, slowly lowering her hand to her side.
Even with the Barilite, the mindreader was skilled at picking up hints from people.

From the looks of it, he was judging her silently, his eye studying her sharply. Deeming her weak. Innocent.
Which was perfectly fine to Evie. The girl crossed her arm to hide the shiver running through her bones as Abyss passed them, seemingly hand-in-hand with Eri.
That’s strange. Didn’t consider him to be a relationship-oriented kinda guy..
She frowned faintly in thought, her dark eyes flickering in thought. Her mind always seemed overactive, and it showed in her eyes.
“Don’t do anything stupid?” She echoed faintly. “Something tells me that probably won’t happen.” She reassured, her voice faintly strained under the pressure of his discerning gaze.

Azazel was in his dorm bed, staring at the ceiling above him. Should he go to the school dance, or shouldn't he? It would be a good opportunity to make new friends, sure, but... Ah, screw it. The teen threw on a black v-neck tee to match with his navy jeans, slipped on a pair of black sneakers, and headed out. As soon as he arrived at the location and opened the double doors, he was immediately hit by a blast of music booming from speakers and the raucous chatter of students as they danced, laughed, or chugged down drinks like there was no tomorrow. Azazel flinched briefly before stepping into the room, taking a cup of fruit punch from the drink table and sipping quietly. So far, he hadn't seen any of his friends yet, but they would turn up somewhere, hopefully.

Six nodded to Parker. “Aye’ Aye’.” She said, giving a small and quick two fingered salute to Parker, who she wouldn’t want to cross, just like the icy Abyss. That kid terrified her. She made a small shiver just looking at him.
Seven’s music was starting to fail. “Uuuuuuugh... why are so many people coming to this spot in particular.” He said. Due to the number of girls there, it was overwhelming his body and he wouldn’t even be able to talk to dudes.

"Oh...I don't think I'd spoken about it that much, but I'm from the moon."

Oddly enough, Drake seemed to agree that the bunny suit was inappropriate, though Caelia couldn't understand why. Nevertheless, when Drake offered to escort her back to the dorm she jumped at it without a second thought. She might not have known that much about the dance, but she did know the male student was supposed to escort the female student by arm and act according to the chivalric code...or maybe she was taking one too many of the things she'd heard at face value...NAH.

Sticking out her hand confidently, she waiting for Drake to grasp it and escort her around. Her doe-like eyes sparkled as they locked onto him, and her rabbit ears swaying with a very obvious excitement. From her expression along Drake could likely tell that if he didn't take her arm she would likely die on the spot from heartbreak.

"Why? Well, I wanted to cheer you up from your rejection and you seem like cool guy, and we're going to be on the same class for at least a year, so why shouldn't I get to know my classmates?" Jess said and shrugged, while she and Ryder were walking towards the auditorium, where the dance was held. When they got closer, the music could clearly be heard, blasting through the door eve if it was shut. The shape shifter noticed that most of her class mates were outside of the auditorium. Maybe they were waiting for something? Jess wasn't really sure about it. She stopped by them to hopefully chat with them for a moment.
"Hiya! How are you guys?" The shape shifter said and waved.

Drake glanced back at Caelia and noticed her holding out her hand in expectation. It was pretty clear from her expression and the way her ears twitched that she wanted him to take her hand. Drake hesitated for a moment. Then he figured, eh, why not? It is a dance after all. Well, technically they weren't at the dance yet, but Drake didn't really care. Smiling, Drake grabbed Caelia's hand, swinging it playfully.
"From the moon, huh? Dang, that's pretty cool!" Drake said. "What's life like up there? You guys throw any awesome moon parties or something?"
Drake suddenly turned to Caelia with a serious expression.
"Is the moon really made out of cheese?" Drake asked, mock-seriously.

Meanwhile, at the dance, Seven quietly edged out of the middle of the group. It was starting to get a little crowded in that corner. The ninja girl noticed that there was a student looking a little uneasy at the edge of the group. It was the other Seven! It appeared he was trying to distract himself, but found something about the whole dance unnerving. The ninja girl walked next to the other Seven and leaned against the wall, curious of what was unnerving him.

Last edited:
MY Seven, who had given up on distracting himself with music, had just been curled up in a ball on the floor for a while. Then, he looked up and saw that his female counterpart in name had stood next to him. “Reeeeee- erk- em- ah- um- hello there-!” He tried to say, not really good with first impressions with... anybody, even more of the opposing gender (he’s weird.)
Six ignored her brother and looked at the oncoming crowds of people. “Ok. There’s Evie, Eri, Abyss... Female Seven left... and who are the rest.” She said, looking around at everyone there.

Wow. So much people. Eri looked at the group that was suddenly formed. There were some people she hadn't known their name yet, but the loud noise made the atmosphere unsuitable for chit-chat, at least she thought so.

Eri looked around the auditorium. The blaring music and dazzling lighting made the place totally different than the lecture place it was supposed to be. She wondered who organized this dance. Was it the school? But the event looks totally informal. Probably the student council or something like that.

In the corner of the room, foods lined up on long tables. The delicacies provided varied from cakes to salad to grilled squids... The grilled squids seemed out of place.

In the middle of the room, a DJ was doing his job. Changing the music depending on the mood or by request. A thin red mattress was placed in front of him, at the edge of the mattress there was a holed box and a sign. The sign read, 'Dance Challenge!! Take one challenge from the box and win the prizes!!'.

Eri tugged Abyss' shoulder and pointed at it. She was here to dance, and if she could win a prize along the way. That would be a nice bonus!

"Hey, ice bo- I mean, Abyss. Are you up to the challenge?" Eri asked him, a grin was displayed on her face.

"Nah, I don't dance, mostly cause I don't know how," Abyss told Eri, letting go of her hand to go lean on the wall in a usual fashion.
"I'm only here cause you asked me, but I'm not here to dance, have fun if you wanna, but you're not getting me to participate in that foolishness,"

Seven started a little when the teen let out a strange, surprised cry. She hadn't expected that. Concern now clear on her face, Seven squatted down and looked at the teen curled up on the ground. Here was not a good place to try to sleep, or freak out, or whatever was needed. Perhaps the whole dance was too much for the boy? The ninja girl gently grabbed Steven's wrist and pointed at the doors. Did he want to step out?

"Boo. You're no fun." Eri pouted at Abyss rejection. She should knew better not to brought the boy to a party, she felt like she just waste some of her kindness points. "If you just want to stand there like a statue then whatever."

She turned her attention from Abyss and grabbed the nearest person from her, which was the Six. She hadn't knew her name though, but name and gender wouldn't stop her from trying to have some fun.

"How about you? Let's do a dance challenge together!" She asked Six with sparkles in her eyes, literally. Her light magic in action.

Although this 'handholding' was a bit more playful than she thought it would be, Caelia was fine with that, she even somewhat enjoyed it, swinging along to whatever unheard beat Drake was playing. When he turned to her and asked with a semi-serious face if the moon was actually made out of cheese, she burst into giggles. Bringing her free hand to her lips in a 'Shhhh' gesture, she winked at him, "That's a secret~"

Her ears twitched with more than just a note or two of amusement as she responded. "You'll have to visit if you want to find out, and maybe I'll take you to one of our Moon Parties." With that, she burst into a peal of laughter.

Seven made another strange sound when Seven (F) grabbed his arm. He saw her point to the exit like; ‘Hey, do you need to exit the dance?’ And Seven sighed. “Nah... I’m good.” He said, standing up, his legs a bit shaky. “I’m the supersized McShizzle!!!” He said, able to manage a small smile.
Six grinned at Eri. “Alright, friend! Let’s do this!” She said, her smile a combination of so many childish and happy emotions.

"Great! I finally find someone who can enjoy things." Eri smiled at her new partner.

"But, umm... Is he okay?" She pointed at the male Seven. His behavior was weird even for her, it's somewhere between funny and worrying so she wasn't sure how to react.

Seven jerked her hand back when Steven made another strange noise. Was this... Normal, for him? Seven thought back, trying to remember if Steven was one of the students not from earth. She couldn't quite remember. But much to Seven's relief, Steven stood up and said a phrase that the ninja girl was unfamiliar with. However, judging from the tone, it sounded like he was okay. Seven merely shrugged and stood back up as well.

The ninja girl leaned against the wall and looked around the dance. There was a group of students in one area of the room that seemed to be literally dancing on top of one another. Seven thought it looked quite strange, not to mention uncomfortable. Looking around some more, Seven noticed a table was set up holding refreshment. Walking over to the table, Seven picked up a cup of red liquid. It smelled kinda like... Fruit.

Drake smiled at Caelia's response. The teen thought the rabbit girl's laughter sounded quite pretty.
"Seriously, though. What's it like up there?" Drake asked Caelia. He was legitimately curious about what being on the moon was like.

Abyss went over to the punch table as well, he noticed Seven(F) but refused to so much as acknowledge her precense. He went back over to his corner to brood more until he saw a lonely girl that looked about his age. He decided that if he was going in here somehow, then he's getting this girl to do it too.
"Hey, what are you doing all by yourself?" Abyss asked her in his usual tone, although there was no nastiness behind it, at least not yet, depends of how this conversation would go.

Six nodded and smiled. “He resilient. I’ll introduce him to you after we dance! C’mon!” She said, pulling Eri over into the dance floor and began to jam out to the music that was currently playing.
Seven wiped off the sweat on his head anencephaly smiled. “I’m chill.” He said to himself, and went over to a more secluded area of the dance floor and began to dance. Hard. Core. People began noticing how he would flip, turn, and maneuver his body so perfectly to the music and began to gather around as he started break dancing.

Before Seven had a chance to drink from this strange drink, the ninja girl noticed a new commotion a corner of the room. Curious, Seven walked over to the group. What could cause this group to form so quickly? Seven managed to get to the center to find that it was Steven, of all people, that appeared to be drawing the crowd. This was the type of dancing that Seven had seen while living on the streets. Agressive and quite flashy, it looked like it took quite a lot of effort and energy to do. It looked quite impressive, especially considering the fact that this boy had been on the ground in the fetal position make strange noises only a few moments earlier. Seven watched Steven dance, starting to get almost hypnotized by the intense dancing.

Noticing the more serious tone to Drake's words, Caelia also dropped her puerile antics and answered seriously. "Well...I guess to me it's just...normal? Everything here is what's weird." Her voice trailed off as the rabbit girl was lulled into absent-mindedness, her doe-eyes staring nostalgically at the of the would-be position of the moon had it been visible. The mix of her absent-mindedness and nostalgia created an odd blend of melancholy and tranquilness commonly identified as homesickness. Having never left the moon before in her, admittedly, short life, the Moon Rabbit was now feeling the pangs of unfamiliarity brought on by not only a new environment but an entirely new planet(oid).

Drake glanced over at Caelia, noticing her change of tone. Maybe bringing up her home wasn't the best idea. It wasn't like she could just pop on back for the weekend... Right? Drake didn't know, and that wasn't the point. The point was, Caelia looked a little homesick. Drake knew the feeling. He had felt it quite a lot over the last year. Drake squeezed Caelia's hand a little tighter, and offered her a small smile.
"Is this your first time away from home?" Drake asked. By this time, the pair had made it to the entrance of the girl's dorm.

Now, studying the scene from afar, what Evie saw was pretty bleak.
Most people were socializing, having fun. And here she was, desperately attempting to make a friend and failing horrifically.
Parker seemed like the kind of guy to just.. stick to the background. Which was fine by her, but for once she’d been brave and tried to speak first and make a friend and it was failing and she’d never try again.

Out of the corner of her eye, the girl noticed Azazel enter, and she immediately perked up.
Aha! Someone good at socializing~!
She caught his eye and waved him over, praying he could assist her in her feeble attempt at being sociable.
What cut off her train of thought, however, was the sound of a microphone clicking.
“Alright, hello Ukjent High! Would everyone head to the middle of the room for Ukjent’s Annual Freshman Dance Off!”

Suddenly, while Azazel was quietly downing his seventh cup of fruit punch, he noticed Evie waving at him in his periphery, and the teen smiled before making his way toward her. He finally stopped at her side and offered a playful high-five. "Yo! How are you enjoying the dance so far?" Immediately after his question was asked, a teacher spoke into a mic, and after hearing the announcement, Azazel raised a brow. "Dance-off, huh? Sounds interesting, but I'm terrible at dancing, so I'll probably sit that out." He turned to face Parker, who was standing next to Evie as well and waved, a grin still on his face. "Hey! I'm Azazel; you must be Parker. I saw your fight; you did pretty well."

Upon hearing about a dance off, he decided that watching people fail miserably at dancing would be a better use of his time than trying to pick up Zardis.
"Well, I'll be in the dance room, I might see ya there," Abyss waved off the girl and went inside to see what kind of failures would unfold on the floor.
Well, whoever wins or loses, this will definitely be entertaining.
