This shouldn't have taken so long lmao, but here's the boy

Name: Kyran Kang

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Trainer Class: Battler, but he also wishes to pursue a more education-oriented route during his time in the United Pokemon League so that he can later assist and help raise the next generation of Trainers. That being said, success in battles and rapid advancement through the ranks of the League wouldn't hurt to get him closer to his goals.

Physical Appearance: Kyran stands at about 5'10 with a toned build and slightly tan complexion. His hair is short and black, messily swept to the left, and he has chocolate brown eyes that shine a rich honey color in the sunlight. (image below for reference)

His casual attire of choice often includes a shirt with minimal design similar to the image above, paired with black jeans and sneakers. Depending on the weather, Kyran may also wear a black nylon bomber over the shirt he is wearing.

Personality: Kyran is rather laidback, being a friendly and amicable individual but never too excited or enthusiastic. However, he exudes much more focus when engaged in his studies or a fierce battle.

Name: Jango
Species: Croagunk
Gender: M
Ability: Anticipation
Nature: Adamant
Characteristic: Likes to fight
Moves: Poison Sting | Mud-Slap | Astonish | Taunt
Accepted. Ask plenty of questions if you have any.

You can have more than 4 moves, and they can be across generations.

Trainer BIOS Sheet
Name: Eléonor Evelyn Maëlys-Amelì Françoise Twdyr
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Trainer Class: Pokemon Stylist
Physical Appearance: Eleonor has honey-brown eyes and light-golden flaxen hair styled minimally with a tuck-up, kept in place by a Skarmory-wing hair-pin.

Clothing: Eléonor was a prim and proper girl, a lady by every stretch of the imagination; it was always skirts and dresses, never shirts or shorts. Her Victorian-era inspired fashion sense demanded clothing both chic and quaint in equal measure, the epitome of noblesse.
While to wear the same set of clothing would offend her sensibilities, she consistently wore trademark leg-wear: dark, lace-up stockings and black high-heeled boots fashioned from leather, conscientiously designed with widened heels and a gentle rise—straddling the line of aesthetic and practical; and, decorative laces that rose to the boot’s shin-high neck, where pairs of Velcro straps fulfilled their function.

Personality: (Optional)

Backstory: Ellen was born in Camphrier Town to a whirlwind of parents—hailing from Kalos and Galar—who brought together, in marriage, a combination of British and French cultural tendencies which have congealed themselves in their only daughter. This is no coincidence, as her parents are openly patriotic both in public and especially in the privacy of their own home. Seeming to playfully, and almost aggressively, vie for their daughter’s preference in their own culture, Ellen’s parents have affected the raising of a child both bilingual, with proficiencies in English and French, and Bi-mythological, with an avid interest in Gaulish and Celtic mythos. However, while Ellen has absorbed much from her parents—as the focus of their passion and (sometimes) competition—including her own exuberant passion for things she enjoys, most of that is subdued beneath a greater desire for paix et calme (peace and quiet). The result of which is, despite her internal alacrity and unabashed-ness in displaying her own interests, Ellen is externally quiet and demure. Her loves and interests are displayed in small, but meaningful ways. The steel-types she’s so fond of can be found decorating her person in various ornaments and accessories, while her Pokemon generally adopt their names from the mythology that enthrals her, and even her sense of fashion is hued by Victorian styles and industrial, steampunk flares.

Starter: Cliodhna (Misdreavus)

Note: Eleonor had bonded two pokemon, Cordelia her Mawile, and Cliodhna her Misdreavus. The former, being disallowed by league rules, remains in Kalos.

How does the Energy System affect moves?
In order to estimate how much energy a trainer has, we'll be using the game's PP System. Base PP will be cut in half and then rounded down.

For example, Flamethrower has 15 base PP. Therefore in RP a pokemon than knows Flamethrower will be able to use it 7 times before they can no longer use that move.

Please note that high base power moves cannot be used is rapid succession due to their energy cost. Also note that powerful status moves also take time to charge.

Priority Moves
Moves with increased priority such as Quick Attack and Sucker Punch will be treated as moves that can be charged very quickly for rapid bursts of speed. Conversely, moves with decrease priority such as Trick Room and Counter, will be treated as moves that take a moments to charge before they can be executed.
Please take note!

Also note that the list of courses has been updated.

Added courses:

Capture Specialist - increases catch rate
Item Engineering - allows you to create mechanized items and TRs
Training Specialist - allows you to reduce the time needed to train weaker pokemon up to the same level as your main team.
Tracking Specialist - allows you to find HA/EM pokemon outside of hordes and increases chance of shiny pokemon.

Poke Jobs

Poke-Jobs are the most consistent means of acquiring money. The jobs will always consist of an entire day's work and will involve both Pokemon and trainer. You are free to time-skip these if you so desire, or you can Role-Play them out. Just remember to manage your time wisely.

Jobs will be divided by rank and then sub-divided by their tiers. A trainer can take any job at or below their rank if they satisfied the desired conditions.

It is understood that higher tier jobs will involve higher complexity and more potential peril, despite the task being seemingly menial.

To be more precise, the Valley Basin Flush is based off the Tour de Alto Mare in Johto, which means you'll need a water type or something that can use surf. It'll need to be a strong swimmer or you'll have a very bad time.

League Announcement

After some research on Sinnoh and its relation to the IRL island of Hokkaido that it's based on, the times for travel have been adjusted. Many have become shorter since the region is smaller than first anticipated.

Generally speaking, trainers will be able to cover an entire route after walking all day (8-12 hours). So trainers should be able to walk between towns, just be mindful of what time of day you leave out. Certain routes may take longer to walk, such as the the routes leading to Snowpoint (heavy snowfall all-year round), routes that pass through Mt. Pokemart has been updated, all standard poke mart items, evolutionary items, and TRs have been added. TRs have been taken across all generations and as such, you have a hefty selection of 272 TRs. They will all have TM counterparts are significantly higher prices. Use your money wisely.

Feel free to comment your thoughts on prices.

I feel like you should’ve made the list of TRs in alphabetical order. It’s too difficult to find the one I want lel

Regarding events and their prizes, to stream line the process and save us a bunch of confusion, everyone should stake their interest on winning any eggs or Trs that are being offered as rewards. We can go about discussing characters who are likely to win and working out who may end up with what.

I didn't get it, can you give examples?
Sure!

So there are a lot of characters but only 1 8 events, this means that not everyone can win an event. There are only so many TRs or Pokemon Eggs to go around. Let's look at the Croagunk Festival:

Pastoria City — Croagunk Festival (Only Poison or Fighting types allowed.)
TRs: Ice Beam, Energy ball, Sludge Bomb, Uproar

1st – $5,000 + Pokemon Egg (Water) or TR
2nd – TR
3rd – $7,500
My OC, Esther, is gonna have a Primarina so Ice Beam and Energy Ball are looking like really good TRs to win. So I'd simply announcement that I'm interested in winning this event.

I know Retro is also interested in this event for the water pokemon egg. So we could discuss how our characters might fare in this event and try to figure out who might win first or second.

Prizes wise, I’m most interested in the individual pokeathalon and the pokeringer, plot wise I like ping pong, the croagunk festival, and the hearthome tag battle.

I don’t expect to do well in all of them, but those are just my preferences and I can adapt to what other people want that way. Ideally I’d have Acacia win one and then have a respectable performance (like the place) in another one or two. But I’m also not super invested in completely winning an event so it’s fine if that doesn’t work out.

Poke ringer and the fashion competition in Hearthome has ice beam so you can go for those ones as well. As for energy ball, Ig that’s what we need to decide on. First and second place gets a TR so we both can get what we want. Just need to decide which one of us comes first and second.

It was just an example lel. I don't even have a pokemon that can participate.

Hmm, yes. I appreciate all the likes but I also need you all to actually respond to the question.
Honestly, I didn’t even see the question there. It was more of a suggestion the way you worded it, but I’m assuming you want us all to put down what events we want to win. In that case, the two I currently want to get the TR prize from are the Croagunk Festival and the Camellia Town Pokeathalon.
