Private/Closed Naruto AU: Roleplay

Whatever that was...can not be good. I need to be prepared for anything.

Minato glanced at the Lord Third, who provided his words of encouragement to Minato as he gave a nod. Hiruzen meant so much to the village, all of the Kage before him did and he would not let them down or let his village down. Not when they needed him most.

Minato had little time to lament in any event, as dozens of water needles pierced his clone which caused it to go poof before of few of them were aimed at the Kage himself. Minato pulled a kunai as he jumped back to avoid the bulk of them and block the ones that came at him. Though one grazed his cheek which caused a minor amount of blood to trickle down his cheek. Minato faced Orochimaru and the two Edo-Kage that he failed to prevent being put under his thrall. From what Minato understood of the technique, the Edo-Tensei themselves are typically weaker than the Kage when they had been present & alive. Which was thankful, as asking to beat Hashirama & Tobirama in their primes along with that snake would have been too much if they were at full power.

The Edo-Tensei were typically more fragile then a real body, but had a certain degree of restoration properties once they had settled. To what degree Minato had no clue as he didn't know everything about the technique. All Minato knew was that he either had to get Orochimaru to cancel the jutsu or seal them to defeat them. Given the Sannin had no intention to be so generous, Minato had to rely on Funjutsu and thanks to Kushina Minato had a variety to work with. Something he felt rather blessed with even if the reason for it was no longer with him.

Kushina. Even after I failed to protect you. Even after you passed on, you still find a way to aid me in the most dire situations. I can never thank you enough, and I won't let your talents go to waste.

"Orochimaru, your desecration of such honored shinobi and your surprise assault will both prove futile. To destroy Konoha means more than to destroy just me, you'd have to break the very Will of Fire itself. Something someone like you could never hope to achieve." Minato said to the Sannin, showing his resolve as he generated a pair of shadow clones with a plan in mind to combat the Edo-Tensei. If Minato could get this to just be a battle between Orochimaru and himself, he figured his chances were good but he had to deal with the aid first; not even counting the two ninja Orochimaru snuck inside with him.

So Minato aimed to limit their observation, as he tossed a flash bomb in the air that exploded into a blinding light. One that aimed to obstruct the vision of all enemies before he and the clones charged forward. Minato aimed to focus on Orochimaru himself while the clones would aim to get around the hopefully blinded Hashirama & Tobirama Edo-Tensei. The clones prepared some seals of their own as their intent was to immobilize them with sealing wrap before he aimed to have them seal them.

That was the plan, the execution remained to be seen. Minato charged Orochimaru with twin Rasengan as he aimed to strike the Sannin in the chest with both.

"Fine, I'll hold my tongue." Kenji said to Sagiso, happy to see she "dropped by" even if he had been banned from making the joke. Tempting as it might have been. Though he kept his glare and focus on the Oto-nin & Kiro, who seemed to have a disagreement.

Tomiko sensed Kiro's indecision and sought to try and sway him away from this path.

"Kiro, you know this isn't right. You are better than this, stronger than this. Stronger than them." Tomiko urged of the Uchiha, who in spite of everything she had some level of respect for even in spite of what he had done to herself and Hashima. Madoka kept her guard up even as more help seemed to arrive in the form of Raiku and Taiyo which was much appreciated, as she once more made a gesture for Tomiko and Yasu to flee while they had this chance.

"You should realize the futility of all this. You are outnumbered and out-manned. Kiro, you are not our enemy you do not need to involve yourself with this. You two Oto-nin should take this chance to surrender, and Zaku...I'd advise you'd take it. Before you destroy any reputation or good will you built up with your new friend. What would he think if he saw you now?" Madoka asked Zaku, in refrence to the street kid he had befriended and who seemed to idolize him.

----------
Rasa quickly generated a sand wall generated from his Gold Dust that shielded both himself and Ay from the bone bullets. Though Rasa quickly had to form a platform and levitated off the ground to avoid the protruding spikes. Ay took note of Kimimaro's charge as he aimed what appeared to be a bone spear formed around his arm. Ay bounced off the wall and aimed to use that momentum to charge at the Oto-nin while he twisted his body to try and avoid being directly in the spear's path. He also shot a glare as the already short-tempered Kage had been annoyed by the young upstart's intervention to have said the very least.

"You aim to get in my way brat, fine. LARIAT!" Ay called out as he aimed to meet Kimimaro's attack with en electric charged lariat that would be targeted for Kimimaro's throat.

Mei herself seem satisfied as her acidic material made contact, but said satasfaction proved to be short lived as the bodies soon exploded and sent a powerful inferno aimed right at her. Mei had to act quickly, and flashed hand signs as she fired a powerful stream of water from her mouth to meet the inferno fireball that rocketed towards her head on. The force of her water-style attack and the explosion met head on as it became a battle of wills that produced a bountiful amount of steam from the evaporated water. But Mei pressed her attack forward and kept the inferno at bay which had been the most important thing.

Orochimaru was blinded by the sudden flash of light in the air. My eyesight is gone, no doubt minato is striking somewhere... while Orochimaru was pondering the thought, Tobirama, in his usual fashion didn’t waste any time. He clapped his hands together, weaving a few handsigns.

“Water Release: Water colliding wave!”

A vortex of water uddenly formed around Tobirama, before it burst into a powerful wave of water, gushing all about the area. Kin, who couldn’t see because of the flash bang was thrown into the water wave by proxy. Her body coated with some sort of slime, acting as an extension of the six tails, dragging her to the surface. She coughed and breathed in the Now open air. The wave was sudden, and washed away the remaining effects of the flash bomb.

Meanwhile, Hashirama had finished weaving his own handsigns, not needin to say a word. As minato charged froward with two Rasengan in hand, large tree branches and trunks grew in front and around Orochimaru, acting like a defensive shield. When the rasengan hit, they bore through the several trunks of tree branches, losing power for each one they broke through. By the time it reached Orochimaru, it burned through the branches coating him, then his clothes around his chest before hitting his abdomen, only creating a slight burn for the ammount of energy left over. Orochimaru giggles at the sight.

“Come now Lord fourth, do you think they would sit around and watch me get pummeled?” Orochimaru teased. “I think you should be more concerned with what’s behind you...”

Suddenly a large *CLANK* was heard. The Rashomon creating open, light flooding in from the other side. Standing before them on the other side of the Rashomon, was an open coffin. Waking out was a certain red haired kunoichi, carrying a bloodied infant in her grasp.

“M-Minato...why?” Kushina spoke

Orochimaru laughed maniacally as they were revealed, slithering our of his wooden barrier. His laughs started to make the undead baby wail, the tragic graverobbing of Minato’s wife, and desecrating it to such as state, not even the baby was spared in all of this.

“My god...You twisted demon...!” Tobirama growled.

.............

Kimimaru’s path toward Ay seemed absolute, sprinting toward the one minded Kage. Their clash seemed inevitable...until it wasn’t. Kimimaru seemed to disappear into the field of bone, outside of anyone’s visual range. As Rasin floated above, Kimimaru lunged out if a bone pillar that rose near his height. Fighting Ay was a diversion! The bone spear spinned in Kimimaru’s hands and he dove down from behind, diving for the kill shot!

Kabuto watched as the explosion had failed to kill Mei. He simply adjusted his glasses. “Hm...didn’t think so.”

Changing his plan, he made a whistle. The two snakes already in the coliseum dove toward Mei. Kabuto jumped on the head of the second one, who opened its mouth wide to hit her with its enournous fangs.

........

That comment also struck a chord with Zaku, who stopped for a moment. What would he think? Would he think I’m a monster? Would he- NO. She’s just trying to throw me off. Zaku shook the doubts from his head once again and hesitantly raised his hands toward Sagiso’s direction and Kenji’s.

“I’m not at war with the sand, now am I?” Zaku snapped back. “Now get out of here before I make a mess!”

Dosu’s focus shifted to Zaku quickly. He hasn’t believe Zaku was allowing the genin a chance to escape, like he was showing MERCY. Dosu’s eyes squinted as he shoved Zaku aside.

“On second thought, no.” Dosu said, taking charge. “If you all take me on, the only thing that will do is give the gravekeeper more work.”

The confident Dosu, revealed a large gauntlet on his right hand. It had several holes in it, and seemed battle scarred with cracks and dried blood. Zaku staggered from his shove, but blinked at the sight of the gauntlet. He whispered to Kiro briefly.

“Cover your ears...!”

Dosu slammed on the ground, a shockwave of sound tearing through the room. He controlled it with his chakra to avoid some targets more than others, and concentrate on some most of all. Even a Zaku, who had been closing his ears and not the target had begun to feel ill by it’s effects. The soundwave forced its way into focusing on the enemies, as it made so much of a sound it scrapped the paint of the walls!

“Echoing sound drill!!”

Minato, like any experienced ninja worth their own, prided himself on being prepared for any situation. As evident by the fact he timely tossed a kunai at the top of the tree above the wave and warped towards it to avoid the wave that Tobirama generated. Minato even took a moment to place a seal on the tree itself, something that may come in handy later.

However, he was far from prepared for what...or who, Orochimaru had brought forth next. Of all people that....that monster had to pick those two. Hearing her voice...hearing his cry, it tore a heart through Minato; one deeper than any kunai could as a great sense of heartbreak momentarily came over the Hokage.

Said heartbreak quickly shifted to an emotion Minato had not expressed much. Rage, pure malice was clear to see as he directed his focus on the one behind this atrocity while his teeth grit and he clenched his fists.

"OROCHIMARU!" Minato practically roared at the Sannin before he darted forward. His intent had shifted from merely stopping Orochimaru to protect the village to now the desire to destroy the snake and make him pay for this insult against the memory of his family. Minato charged the Sannin as he tossed a trio of kunai around the serpent on the floor that almost placed Orochimaru in a triangle. Minato then formed some hand signs as he generated another rasengan and, as opposed to warp to the kunai behind the Sannin as Orochimaru might have expected Minato warped forward to the kunai in front before he aimed the attack right for his face. Tears and bloodlust clearly present in the Hokage's eyes.

His clones, who had scaled the tree to avoid the wave, glanced over at Kushina and their infant son as they ran over to her to them. Orochimaru had not yet claimed them, or so they believed, as they aimed to try to get the deceased mother and child away before the snake had a chance.

"Kushina....we....we need to get you two away. He aims to use you against Konoha. I'm so sorry..." Minato's clone tried to explained his Edo wife though even with the clones limited emotional capacity it was hard to watch due to the bitter memories of his failure which caused a momentary hesitation from the pair.

-----------
Ay growled in frustration as he scanned the area while he tried to find that brat who ruined his revenge, though he quickly spotted the Kaguya-nin as he aimed to strike Rasa from behind. Ay expressed his concern over this....in his own way.

"Kazekage! Move back, that brat aims to meddle so he is mine!" Ay called out as Rasa glanced behind him and saw Kimimaro approach. Rasa glided back and formed a sand wall that stalled Kimimaro's attack only briefly as he lacked the time to strengthen it. It did allow him to dodge the attack...mostly, though it did cut his side a bit which caused the Kazekage to wince as he glided back and clutched his minor wound.

So young, but so strong. That snake does know how to spot talent. Shame such talented is wasted on scum.

Ay then charged at full speed as he aimed to deliver a hard strike with his lightning-coated knee to Kimimaro's jaw.

Mei saw the giant snakes before her, though the Mizukage seemed far from concerned as she glanced at the reptiles and their owner with a smirk.

"Ah, you brought pets. How lovely, though I have a preference for things a bit more fluffy." Mei said before she generated some hand signs and began to generate her signature boiling mist technique. One she aimed to cover their battle area with that would aim to melt Kabuto bit by bit along with his new allies.

----------
Shit!

That was the thought process as Madoka quickly had Raven move towards her as she clogged her ears with them while Tomiko screamed in agony as her cast covered arms were unable to reach up to her ears as she fell to her knees. Something Madoka had to settle quickly as she took a kunai and launched it at Dosu's leg with the intent to stop his attack to spare Tomiko additional misery.

Kenji in turn cursed as he jumped back to get out of the room as he plugged his ears and channeled electricity to produce a loud crackling sound to try and drown out whatever noise might still reach him.

-----------
"Alright, I know I look bad but really I am on your side. Just follow me."

Sakura & Ino's plan, so far, had worked pretty well as they used Ino's body of the Oto-nin she still was in possession of to lower the guard of other Oto-nin before they beat them soundly and escorted fellow nurses, patients and medical-nin to safety. They had a good system going, as they worried about Kenji to be sure but also knew they had to keep this up.

"Lord Tsuchikage I cannot stand this any longer! That Oto-nin has two young kunoichi in his grasp, I must act!"

"Don't muddle in these affairs I..."

However, Onoki's words fell on deaf ears as he and Kurotasuchi walked down the halls and saw an "Oto-nin" with Ino seemingly slung over his shoulder and Sakura under his guard. Kurotsuchi had drawn the line and decided to act as she charged forward with the intent to pummel the invader; unaware that it was in fact Ino a Konona-nin inside the Oto-nin as her eyes widened.

Orochimaru snickered as the reaction was as planned. He weaves several handsigns behind his back, as he Licked his lips at the sight before him. It was poetic, the person that gave him the most hope in his life, would be the one to help drive in his worst despairs.

As minato threw three kunai in his general direction, his legs seemed to convulse oddly, pulsating like a heartbeat. Minato did surprise Orochimaru however by going head on, which a Orochimaru expected a flanking maneuver. While it was unexpected, that doesn’t mean it was effective.

Orochimaru’s body was ripped to shreds, skin like debris flew everywhere. Out of the ground, near the first and second hokages, came a swarm of tiny snakes. They all piled up, slowly creating the form of the snake sannin. This display was followed up by Orochimaru cackling, his slippery nature apparent. Kin lunged next to his master’s side, yukimaru’s actions unknown behind the arch of the Rashomon.

Kushina looked up to Minato, tears in her eyes as she put her hands together. The red headed kunoichi closing her eyes.

“F-Forgive me...Ru-“ kushina words seemed to be being suppressed by an unseeable first, as she dropped the infant head first to the ground. “RUN!!!! Adamatine Sealing chains!!!!”

Suddenly, Dozens of golden chains emerged from the ground, glowing with energy. Although she had gave a second heads up, she wasn’t sure if it would be enough. The chains were pointed, targeting the clones and minato himself. Orochimaru grinned as he watched the attack unfold.

“Now!” Orochimaru commanded. “Wind style great breakthrough!”

Tobirama strugged futile before being forced to attack as well. “Water style, Water colliding wave!”

Hashirama growled before his words spoke for him. “Wood Style, Great Forest Jutsu!”

Kin grinned, puffing up her stomach and mouth. “Scorching Slug Scald!”

“Water style, tortoise Rain!”

Glowing golden Chains coming from one direction, and the other was a roaring tsunami, a flying frenzy of spiked wood roots, a scorching hot mortar fire of acid, and a blades of air. The attacks closed it on the real Mianto, as that’s what all of the ninja on Orochiamru’s side of the field aimed directly toward. Yukimaru’s Tortoise rain took the form of hundreds of water bullets, all sent it Kill minato and his clones. The tsunami washed away the Kunai’s writing, and the wind destroyed the marked tree. Minato’s teleportation zones had been comepelty knocked out from Orochimaru’s side of the field back. His only marked teleportation zones were in the path the storm of Devestating attacks.

Kimimaru has been dissapointed that Ay caught on to his ruse so quickly. He had to admit, the melee Kage was smarter than he looked. His bones stretched from his jaw and upper body to spike the upcoming Kage, but it didn’t succeed. The lighting tore through his bones until the lighting was in trace amounts. But it was still a muscled knee hit. Kimimaru was send spiraling into the air until one of the giant bone deathspikes grew large enough to catch the sound ninja. He rubbed his chin, and looked at it. It was blood without a doubt.

“Hm...commendable.” Kimimaru stated. “No one has blocked that jutsu before. Let that comfort you in your final moments.”

Kimimaru grabbed a hold his back, stripping his spine from his body while another spine materialized in it’s place. The spine hardened and seemed to be acting as a extremely dense whip. Kimimaru grunted before lounging toward Ay, Ignoring the KazeKage completely. His arm’s spear spun at alarming rates, as the whip was tossed to coils around Ay, hoping to keep him in place as he aimed to smash him into bloody his with his aerial bone spear assault.

The lava like mist began to emerge, Kabuto hasn’t prepared for this, but it mattered little. The snake’s momentum hadn’t ceased. Instead, it sped up, lightning in fire and parts of it being covered in flaming hits of lava. At this time it lunged, it’s calming mouth wide open to the Kage still producing her jutsu. It’s momentum was shocking, and moving back would mean falling into kimimaru’s death spike field. Kabuto adjusted his glasses, as he seemed to be waiting for something to happen.

“Not so fast, Decapatating airwaves!”

To protect dosu’s ear shattering attack in light of the kunai, Zaku released his own signature move. His blasts were shot out violently, toward Madoka’s team and The many people to the right, which included Taiyo, Raiku, kenji, and others. Noticeably though, the Decapatating airwaves shot toward Madoka’s position/Yasu’s room were weaker than the noses shooting toward the other group.

These Soundwaves mixed with dosu’s Soundwaves seemed to increase the radius of the sound. It ripped through more of medical wing, some medical nin that Sakura seemed to be treating heard these Soundwaves and immediately began coughing up blood, foaming at the mouth.

The Hyūga siblings moved in synchrony, whirling on tips of their toes, "Rotation!"

The sibling rotated in directions that wouldn't cause their rotations to clash against each other. Whilst Sagisō was spinning she sent her kunai and shuriken flying, using the Nadeshiko-Style Deep Crimson Performance: Second Step, which was a shurikenjutsu launched through rotation anyway. The flurry of ninja tools splashed in all directions, but the majority of them managed to head towards Dosu and Zaku. As the kunai flew, they stabbed into the ground, walls, the ceiling and almost any and everything in the room, as for how her fellow 'allies' were going to deal with them... well they'd probably be fine. The kunai knives weren't very accurate to begin with as they'd simply been thrown randomly. Following Sagisō's display, both siblings added their chakra natured to their rotation domes, Furījia's lightning nature cause arcs of thunder to arc in random directions, while Sagisō's wind nature insulated her from Furījia's attack. The bolts of electricity splashed in all directions attracted to all the 'lightning' rods that'd been set up by Sagisō's kunai. While the attack wasn't very accurate, it made up for that with the area of effect. The duo wasn't completely heartless though, taking into account their 'allies' they'd slightly modified the attack.

The technique wasn't all that lethal once you'd gotten past the kunai because Furījia's charge was set to 'stun' rather than 'electrocute', and that stun was what the Hyūga siblings were waiting on. If the situation was favorable, they'd take out their opponents in one swift flurry of strikes, they'd both realized that both Zaku and Dosu were within range of their 8-trigrams 64 palms, and they had just enough Hyūga's to take down both sound ninjas. However, if the situation turned for the worst, they'd escape within the blink of an eye.

Sagisō was banking on the former though. She somewhat remembered Kenji from the forest of death, and she knew he was a lightning user. Hopefully, this attack would interrupt Dosu and allow Kenji and opening to make an attack. Sagisō figured that since he was a lighting user, this 'weak' level of shock wouldn't hinder him too much.

The mark on Kiro’s body burned as he heard the voice of Raiku. His fists became clenched as the rage he had held inside for the Uchiha started to build up again. Simply hearing Raiku’s voice irritated him. Even though Raiku hadn’t directed his words or sword at him, Kiro wanted so badly to tear the sword from Raiku’s hands and return it straight into his chest.

However before Kiro could act, he did take into consideration the words of Tomiko and Madoka. Tomiko was right about the senseless murder, atleast for right now. Kiro himself didn’t see the need to take part in it and didn’t plan too. As for Madoka’s point about them being out numbered, she was right for the moment.

However, it seemed Madoka’s comment about Zaku’s little friend had struck a nerve. Then Zaku did the unexpected, he offered them mercy. Kiro was a bit caught off guard by this but didn’t have the time to think about it much further when Dosu suddenly whispered to him.

Seeing the gauntlet in Dosu’s hand, Kiro didn’t need to think twice and immediately covered his ears. He did the same as Kenji and also charged his hands with electricity to drown out whatever noise was to come next. What Kiro heard afterwards was the most deafening sound that he had ever heard. That was before Zaku added his own sound waves. It was deafening but Kiro was glad that he was not on the receiving end of this attack or else it could’ve been much worse. ‘If this is the power that he was talking about, then maybe it is worth it.’

Kiro took one good look up to realize that there was about to be another problem. Sagisō and the girl with her started rotating before Sagisō sent kunai and shuriken in multiple directions. Then the girl showed off her lightning nature. Kiro, however, wasn’t worried about that. It was his nature affinity after all. As soon as he saw the arcs of lightning spread in different directions, Kiro started to back away. The only think he would’ve had to worry about was the kunai and shuriken. However, he still had his eyes and planned to use them to his fullest. They tracked each kunai and shuriken watching their patterns. If one were to come his way, Kiro would already be out of the way. As for the lightning, the electricity in his hands lashed out at any stray bolts that dared to come Kiro’s way.

"Wind Style: Full Body Neutralization!"

Yasu's body pulsated with Chakra as his wind echoed through the room to meet Zaku and Dosu's sound waves. It didn't completely nullify the sound, it was too strong for that, but it made it possible to be in the room without getting knocked out due to the attack. He winced in pain as the sound reached his ears, momentarily stunned. However, Yasu quickly fought through the noise and reached Tomiko. He grabbed onto her shoulders, trying to help her stand so that she could move away or at least not be such an easy target.

As he tried to help Tomiko up, Yasu looked over to Zaku. He wanted nothing more than to rip that shit eating grin off his face permanently.

"You fucking rat! Just when I thought there was no way for you to get any worse, you pull this shit!"

"I agree Yasu, let's put the trash back in it's place!" Taiyo screamed at Yasu in order to reassure that he was being heard, mostly due to the fact that the Decapacitating Airwaves shot his ears.
"Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Taiyo called out, doing the Tiger handstyle in order to activate the Jutsu. He then went out a volley of fireballs, in five of which he hid shrunken. He hoped that Yasu or someone else would fire out another Jutsu. Tsuki seemed concerned, it looked like the leaf-nin had some semblance of a plan, but he very well could be just firing random fire balls.
"Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm!" Tsuki nervously called out, releasing a spurt of ice shards at Dosh and Zaku, meanwhile Taiyo ran up to Zaku and aimed a roundhouse kick.

Shen: King of Digimon

The Phoenix flower attack barley made it a second from it’s owner before the Decapatating airwaves instantly blew out the flames the shuriken flying back toward the crowd of genin, ADDING to the threat at hand. Most of the ice shards followed suit with thins, but since they were more shaped for the issue, one or two broke through, albeit with little to no momentum left to be a threat. The two shards simply hit against zaku, causing a few bruises. The rest of the shards flew back like the shuriken, right back into the crowd.

Yasu’s dispersal seemed to be enough to eliminated the majority of the Sound’s effects. His wind managed to throw off Zaku’s Decapatating airwaves, creating a small pocket on top of and behind him that would be safe. Taiyo didn’t seem to take any precautions as he ran straight toward the blender like airwaves and ripping Soundwaves.

Dosu’s sound washed over Taiyo, and kept going. Taiyo seemed to be the one taking the majority of the damage thus far, that is if something more wasn’t happening behind the scenes. Not only that, but since he ran directly into the path of Zaku’s airwaves, the full brunt hurled at him, and since he was ahead of Yasu, shredded toward him.

Dosu’s head turned when he saw a kunai land beside him, then another, and another, until after. Stream of them flew toward their position. Dosu’s eyes widened as Zaku underestimated that blindspot. He raised he melody gauntlet over his head, theee kunai bouncing off of the powerful alloy, nearly piercing his head. Though something was off. When he did so, electricity coursed through the melody arm, just slightly, enough so his arm wouldn’t respond to his commands efficiently. Remarkable, using my weapon as a conductor making it my biggest weakness, clever Hyugga.

But now the opening of the melody gauntlet were stunned, facing the hyugga, so they were going to have an increase of sound in their direction while everyone else had a slight dampen to their sound given to them, however slight. Zaku laughed at a Yasu comments, stopping his Decapatating airwaves as the strong air shot pulsed trough the crowd.

“You lost two times, I’m aching to make it 3!”

Zaku made a handsign in either arm, seemingly preparing a jutsu, which was rare for Zaku, his implants revving up.

Raiku took notice of the attack and with the Sharingan activated could read Zaku's lips. He didn't really care about the sound jutsu however. Raiku placed a Genjutsu on himself that will allow his hearing to be nearly completely nullified. This however also meant that he couldn't hear anything. Plus he only knew how to apply the Genjutsu on himself. He facepalmed at the sight of Taiyo charging in despite the opponent's attacks.

Taiyo attempted to shrug it off, but felt noticeable pain, mostly in his upper body, his ears were shot and he felt an aching pain at his side. However, he did his best to lose focus of it and tried to target Zaku and provide at least some form of annoyance, if not a distraction. He knew that Dosu was way put of his Leauge, so he didn't bother to challenge him. With each of Zaku's arms charging a Jutsu, and Taiyo receiving knockback, he jumped off a wall and aimed a kick to Zaku's stomach, hoping to knock him off balance. He knew Yasu was more competent then he was and as such, was determined to do what he could in order to at least help his acquaintance. Tsuki looked over at Raiku, then at Taiyo again. She examined him closely and then turned to Raiku.
"I think he has some sort of plan," Tsuki muttered, hoping not to be heard. She was just concerned that Taiyo might end up breaking himself again.

With the dampening of sound on his side and Zaku pausing his attack for a moment, Kiro took advantage of this by beginning to focus on unlocking his chakra points. Even though he wasn’t yet sure of what he planned to do, Kiro just wanted to be ready.

As he did this, he watched as Taiyo poorly executed his own counter. ‘Idiot.’ Everyone here seemed vulnerable, something that Kiro was hoping for. If he was forced too, Kiro was sure that he would be able to atleast capture one of them. With lightning armor on, that would be another story all together. Even Kiro didn’t know the full extent of his power with the curse mark fully activated. He didn’t even know if he would be able to control himself. Even right now, the rage flowed throughout his body, forcing himself to stay calm unless he wished to lash out. No one in the room would be safe from him, not even Zaku and Dosu.

One thing was for certain, if this sound kept going for any longer, Kiro lose it. By lose it, he meant any respect for Dosu and Zaku. His ears felt like they were bleeding by this point. With the electricity in his hands combined with the sound produced by Dosu, Kiro wouldn’t be surprised if they were bleeding. If they were, Kiro only hoped that Orochimaru wouldn’t retaliate if he found out Dosu had been seemingly killed. He could only take a few more seconds of this madness, especially with the curse mark fueling his rage.

Dosu’s arm was still stunned by the electricity, as he commanded it to move, it didn’t respond. He couldn’t risk using his jutsu constantly anymore being this vulnerable, so he decided to end it quickly. The noise stopped for a second before being unleashed all at one time in sagiso’s direction, which he had been stuck facing. The sound from all the other areas had practically vanished.

Zaku watched as Taiyo, blood dripping from his ears and seemingly several other problems. Since he endured the Decapatating airwaves, which was basically an air blender, cuts surrounded Taiyo. But amongst all this intense physical torment, he kept moving. Zaku has never seen anything like this before! He aimed his hands toward the charging ninja.

“Extreme Decapatating-“

Before he could finished his sentence, the taijutsu fighter Struck him in the gut. While the Soundwaves and shockwaves weakened Taiyo, Taiyo still managed to take advantage of Zaku’s charging of a jutsu. Zaku slumped over to the ground, his arms landing on the ground. He grunted as this happened before realizing his situation.

“....Airwaves?” He said meekly, blinking at the ground

In a millisecond, the colossal airwaves quaked the ground. Kabuto warned to only use the technique when facing his target, as a multitude of negative effects could occur. This seemed to be one! The ground practically turned to dust. The tiles and ground disappeared as the entire section of the medical wing seemed to collapse in on itself. Zaku was the first to fall into what seemed like a dark pit of scaffolding and steel beams. Dosu, who had been shocked still by Sagiso lost his footing. And fell along with Zaku. The damage across the floor was nearly instantaneous.

the entire ground spidering out into nothingness was a sight to see. The entire half of the medical wing was going down on them! The roof collapsed as all the medical rooms on their side caved in. *BOOOOM!!!!* Zaku and Dosu were sent spiraling down with heaps of debris.

“Zaku!!! You fool!!”

The Hyūga sibling ceased their rotation once they'd noticed Dosu get stunned, Sagisō had a sly smirk on her face as she mouthed one word towards her opponent, "c-h-e-c-k-m-a-t-e!" However, while her plans seemed to be unfolding well, reality wouldn't be on her side for long. The first thing she hadn't expected was that Dosu would suddenly decide that she and her sister were high-priority targets to be killed at all cost, going as far as to forgo his offensive on all the other ninja in the room in a bid to take them out. Sagisō's pupils constricted as she retreated along with Furījia, the two Hyūga's hastily slapped their palms outward managed to launch sloppy Vacuum palm's for both their arms. The four vacuum palms collided with the sound wave, practically exploding in front of the duo from point-blank range.

Sagisō felt a brief feeling of weightlessness as she was rag-dolled through the air, for a moment all her senses were blind. She couldn't hear anything, she couldn't see anything, and she certainly couldn't feel anything. It was a brief moment of nothingness which ended just as quickly as it came, pain exploded from her back as she slammed into the wall on the other side of the medical room, a mouthful of blood spraying from her lips. Her vision returned slowly, and as she slowly fell towards the ground, she was able to see the blurry situation of the room as Zaku practically disintegrated the floor. She'd also taken notice of Furījia who seemed to be in a position quite similar to herself. Her body, still paralyzed from the sudden impact to her spine, began free falling, slipping downwards into the abyss of darkness that had been opponent up beneath them.

A single thought flashed through her brain, one; 'If this doesn't kill me...I'm murdering Zaku...that idiot!' Her thought almost ended there, but as her life metaphorically flashed before her eyes, she remembered one key factor. That shinobi that'd kicked Zaku and caused this scenario in the first place. At first, she'd just thought he was a bit stupid and way too eager to die, but she hadn't expected his almost suicidal attack to end up killing her and everyone else in the room... Her mind searched, and in a split second, she remembered his name. 'Taiyo, yes...I'll kill him too...' Those were her last thoughts as she slipped into unconsciousness.

Yasu's eyes widened as Taiyo put a fist into Zaku's gut. He was glad Zaku was getting hit, but sad he wasn't the one delivering. Nevertheless, as the floor began to cave he, Yasu knew he had to make a move. His mind raced as the crumbling floor got closer to him, and then he remembered Tomiko. There was no way that she was capable of avoiding this with her injuries. He spun around, scanning the area until he saw her.

I swear to god I'll fill him with holes and drown him in his own blood, that damn rat!

Yasu accelerated towards the girl, pumping his legs as fast as his body would allow him.It was close, but he managed to sweep Tomiko off her feet and jump away from the crumbling floor of the Medical Wing. He set the girl down once he knew he was away from the immediate danger of falling under the floor.

"Hey, are you okay?"

Caught up in the moment, Yasu didn't notice the small crack in the floor slowing inching towards the two shinobi. The floor gave way under him, dropping him into the chasm created under the stadium. Tomiko hadn't yet fallen in, and Yasu watched her disappear from sight as the darkness of the hole enveloped him.

‘He actually hit him!’ Kiro couldn’t believe Taiyo’s horribly planned attack actually landed. For the moment, it seemed like a miracle just happened. The horrid noise, it was gone. With Dosu focusing Sagisō and her cousin and Zaku on the ground, there was no more noise coming his direction. Kiro couldn’t help but internally grin when he saw Sagisō take damage. Everything seemed to be going good for Kiro especially as was nearly ready to activate his lightning armor. However, just when Kiro thought it couldn’t get any worse, he heard Zaku speak.

“Mother—“ It seemed for the sake of language, the horrid sound returned to silence the second half of his curse. For that brief moment, everything stilled. Kiro focused everything he had into releasing that last chakra point. Once Kiro hit free fall, with the lack of body control, he would lose his focus on releasing his chakra points. He had to do it now! Too make matters worse, he wasn’t standing to far off from Zaku. It was to safe to say that his chances of jumping out even with the enhanced speed and mobility of lightning armor wouldn’t be good enough. In short, they were fucked.

Kiro glared over at Zaku and Dosu’s direction. If either of them were somehow kicking after this, they would pay...

Barely a second passed when Kiro suddenly lit up with chakra. The lightning nature chakra coated him as the ground beneath him began to fall apart. Electricity arced across his body as he used the newfound speed of the lightning armor and managed to jump up as high as he could. Kiro aimed for the hole Sagisō came through from the ceiling. All he hoped to do was grasp onto some part of the above area. At the very least, even if the roof closed in before he could get out, he wouldn’t have to fall to his death.

For Kiro, at the speed he was going at, everything was going in slow motion as he was midair. Too everyone else, he probably looked like a streak of blue lightning. Kiro could see the bodies of the other members of the confrontation going into freefall. Dosu seemed pissed off at Zaku, which was understandable and a bit entertaining at the same time. Yasu seemed to have fallen a bit before Tomiko and his glare focused only on her. ‘How cute, they’re both literally falling for each other.’ Kiro thought sarcastically, quickly getting his mind off of that annoying topic. There was one face he was eager to see and that was Sagisō’s. He hoped to see a look of fear on her face as she was about to fall to her death. Instead, to Kiro’s dismay, she seemed to have her eyes closed. ‘How pathetic. Even when she’s about to die, she can’t even face it.’ Kiro guessed he should’ve thanked Sagisō for the potential escape she had made for him. But it seemed too late for that now. He’d thank Sagisō down in hell, which Kiro hoped for his sake, wouldn’t be happening anytime soon.

With the air Kiro had gotten on his jump, he was nearly at the hole in the ceiling. He had his arms stretched out as he tried to reach for the closest thing he could grab onto. “Come on!” Kiro shouted in this moment of desperation, only hoping he could escape before everything above caved in.

Wait that worked?! Taiyo thought to himself, surprised that he even managed to take out Zaku and Dosu with their own attack. Unfourtunately, due to his closeness to Zaku and Dosu, unable to jump off of Zaku, he also fell into the abyss.
"CRAP!......" Taiyo screamed as he fell down, hoping that this wouldn't be his last days alive. Tsuki covered her mouth in horror, Taiyo was seemingly going to die, but she didn't want that to happen. She ran and attempted to grab his hand, but her efforts were fruitless as she, Raiku, Madoka and the test all disappeared from sight.

Craaaaaaap!

Zaku spiraled down, debris falling everywhere with them. The entire roof of their side of the medical wing collapsed. The light of day was temporarily knocked out. Thinking quickly, as the ground cams closer and closer, Zaku aimed his hands to the ground and began to pump air through them to soften his fall. When he got toward the ground, his momentum had slowed enough for him to actually land on his feet, which was remarkable. He put his hands on his hips and seemed proud, that is, until Dosu slammed loudly into the ground next to him

Dosu coughed, his melody arm taking most of the fall. His body didn’t like it how we, as he put his dislocated shoulder back into place.

“...Gah! Zaku...how can you be so careless? Letting some fodder genin get to you like that?”

“Hey, it’s not my fault that a kid had a death wish. But we are alive aren’t we? You were going to die paralyzed!”

“Hmph, What?” Dosu looked up, seeing a Kiro trying to navigate through the falling debris. “Doesn’t he know that’s futile? Work with the current not against it. No matter, Zaku prepare to continue our fight.”

“Aye aye captn’.”

Taiyo was now doing whatever he could to slow his descent. Suddenly, he had an idea, he grabbed some senborn and attempted to stick it into a wall. Unfourtunately, the Senborn broke before he could obtain traction. Then he had a better idea, to blast his way out.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball!" He cried out, doing the handsigns before being propelled upwards by the shock, he could see light again and grabbed a ledge with the intent of pulling himself up. However, the small ledge cracked and as such, Taiyo was sent falling back down.
"Goddamit!" The Genin screamed, falling down once again, leaving Tsuki who was currently crying into her hands.

Minato's eyes widen as he jumps back to gain some distance, the onlooking flying frenzy of techniques. The combination attack had blown away his tree and kunai markings he had no way to avoid this attack. Well, perhaps one but to expose that now might doom the Hokage and he had to save that option for when the time was right.

So Minato quickly formed some hand signs and soon enough a large seal under his feet. The seal matched the clan mark of the Uzumaki Clan and soon enough expanded a wide area around Minato. Soon the seal began to glow bright right as Minato slammed his hands to the floor.

"Sealing Shield: Uzumaki Barrier!"

The seal then generated a red barrier in the wide area around Minato just as the combination Ninjutsu struck it. For the most part, the technique kept the attack at bay, however...something had to give and there had been far too many attacks at once for this one barrier to be able to hold back. Soon enough, the barrier cracked little by little as Minato grit his teeth as he prepared himself and eventually the barrier cracked wide open and the remaining force of the blast that had not been absorbed by the barrier blasted Minato back a bit as he tumbled along the ground.

Blood dripped from Minato's forehead as he got to his feet; damaged but far from beaten as he shot a glare at Orochimaru. Minato could hardly believe someone so vile was once a teammate of Jiraiya-sensei. Minato considered his options.

And tossed a smoke bomb below his feet. Soon enough Minato disappeared, with only a lone marked kunai down where he had once stood. Minato opted for cover in the destroyed great tree of Hashirama. Given the enclosed space, Minato suspected that Orochimaru & company would not take long to find him so Minato had made preparations for just that scenario. Though whether it worked or not remained to be seen.

As between the Sannin himself, his allies, the enslaved Kage...Kushina, for one Minato had some internal doubt. The village counted on him, Lord Third entrusted him to defend the village. As Minato clutched one kunai tight, he kept an eye out for Orochimaru's faction as he worked to think of any way to turn this around. His usual sharp mind had been disrupted by the emotional injuries of seeing the family he failed to protect once more.

-----------
"Ultimate Defence: Shukaku's Shield!"

Before Kimimaro's shield could do some damage, a large pile of golden dust appeared between Ay & Kimimaro and soon enough a golden replica of Shukaku appeared made of hardened gold dust as the spear would strike that as opposed to Ay.

Ay himself growled as he used his famed speed to avoid being tied up by the spinal coil and jumped in the air to move behind Kimimaro as he glanced at Rasa.

"I don't need you help with this brat!" Ay roared as he aimed to deliver an elbow strike to the back with his electrically charged elbow.

Mei herself saw the incoming snake and knew she had no time to block its charge with a jutsu and if she hoped back there may be a bone spike or something in the waiting.

So Mei made a bolt action....and jumped inside the snake itself. As she jumped past the sharp teeth and soon found herself inside the gut of the great beast. Mei took a moment to notice the slim of the innards of the beast and took note of the potent stench as she made a face and plugged her nose.

"Oh...oh that is too gross." Mei said as she used water style jutsu to remove said slime from her body and clothing before she took a deep breath. and soon formed a sphere of water. Said sphere began to expand all around her and moved further and further as it pushed against the body of the snake. Applying a great amount of pressure against, and there was only so much pressure that this thing would take. Like a balloon waiting to burst she was eager to see it push past the breaking point.

Tomiko had little time to process what was going on, some collision between Zaku & that fire-nin in the finals led to the floor giving way and the roof began to cave in. Before she could even process even that she felt someone sweep her off her feet as Yasu had picked her up and carried her to safety. Tomiko glanced up and had recovered from the shock just long enough to see the ground crumble beneath Yasu as he fell in the shadow pit that had been created.

"YASU!"

Madoka, who had already manipulated Raven to latch on her back as she flew over the crumbled hole, moved over to Yasu with the intent to grab him while she would aim for Raven to fly them up back to Tomiko who herself had hoped back from the ever crumbling ground.

Unfortunately, her good efforts were thwarted when a piece of ceiling struck one of Raven's wings as soon enough it forced herself & Yasu in a tailspin as they began to free-fall to the ground below. Given the speed they were falling at, there had been no time to prepare much of anything with Yasu in Madoka's arms. So Madoka grit her teeth as she shifted her body so that herself and Raven on her back would act as cushions.

Soon enough, they crashed to the ground as Raven absorbed most of the impact and as a result its joints detached as it scattered into separate pieces while the remaining force went through Madoka's back as she spat out some blood. But thankfully this should not have extended to Yasu as Madoka began to pan while Yasu laid on top of her and a bit of blood dripped from her lips.

Shit shit shit!

Kenji's free fall through the suddenly crumbled section of the medical wing had not produced the most...dignified response as he let out a near screech as he had began to descend. To make matters worse, the roof had also began to cave in on them as it seemed he and the others in the room were destined to fall to their deaths.

Is this how it ends? I just die here without even rediscovering why I wanted to be a ninja? Rather anti-climatic, but I guess it's kinda fitting. Not like I had much of a story to begin with...

However, as he had continued to free fall time seemed to slow as he glanced over to his side and took note of another figure who was falling. Sagiso, who seemed to have either fainted out of fear or otherwise fell unconscious. Least Kenji hoped that was the case, none the less seeing her inspired him all the more as he took a deep breath.

What the hell am I saying? I never got her back for the beating in the Forest. If I did and she dies before that then I'll never forgive myself in the next world.

Kenji then drifted over to a piece of ceiling as he used it as a springboard; bouncing from that as he went over to Sagiso while he generated some hand signs. Kenji then aimed to grab Sagiso's limp form with his left hand while he aimed his now electrically charged right hand to the black abyss below them.

"Lightning Style-Thunder Shurge Jutsu!?"

Kenji fired a stream of electricity down on the ground below them, and the impact caused their descent to gradually decrease as Kenji made sure to keep a tight grip on Sagiso's limp form as he kept the kunoichi close before soon enough the pair landed on the ground safely. Kenji dropped Sagiso as he took a moment to catch his breath before he glanced up and prepared his still coated electric fist with the task of blasting any bits of caved in roof that came their way.

Then Kenji saw something, that he first assumed was another bit of debris, but in truth had been the limp body of Furījia as it fell at full speed and Kenji knew it would strike the ground. Kenji charged up some electricity as he jumped into the air and fired something to the ground below before he caught Furijia as the two free fell to the ground.

Only to land on an electric net that Kenji had produced. The force of the impact caused the pair to bounce back up and the force of it knocked the wind out of Kenji. But the two fell back down and it appeared Furijia seemed okay as Kenji let out a sigh and wiped some sweat from his forehead.

If Sagiso gives me sass for this I swear to Kami...

"GAH!!!!!"

At once, Ino and Sakura flopped down to their knees as en ear splitting sound filled the air while the pair clutched ears & covered them with their hands to try block out the sound. They had not been the only ones thought; the sounds of screams and blood-filled vomits showed the injured & medical-nin were victims as well while Kurotsuchi and even Onoki had to clutch their ears in pain.

"WHAT IS THAT RACKET!" Onoki yelled, clearly annoyed with this though the medical staff and injured had been far less tolerant of the noise to simply be annoyed by it. Something Sakura noticed as she grit her teeth and began to wiggle over to one woman who had puked up blood. Sakura, in spite of the pain it would cause, removed the cover of her ears and began to work healing the girl all the while she felt with the agony of the noise. Sakura pressed on through it all, determination to save these people the one thing stronger than any pain she had felt at the moment.

I...I don't care if I go deaf! I am not gonna abandon these people!

However, Sakura's focus was halted when the sound came to a sudden stop. Before much relief could be celerbated rumbling behind her caught the kunoichi's attention as the ground and ceiling of one half of the medical wing seemed to suddenly cave in. To make matters worse, parts is that sections of it seem to start to come ablaze! Ino's wide-eyed expression as she returned to her body said it all.

What the hell is happening!?

Thankfully, the rumble stopped just short of their section....though Onoki happened to be in the one space where the floor gave way below him. Before Sakura or Ino could express concern over this Onoki simply floated above the caved in floor as he glanced behind him. The pain in his aged ears was no more but that action along with the destroyed section behind him annoyed Onoki to no end as evident by his glare.

Kurotsuchi let out a sigh of relief before she exchanged a glance at Sakura & Ino. The one grace was that this entire situation prevented her from attacking a Konoha-nin by mistake given Ino's temporary hold over the Oto-nin's body. None the less she made her way over to Onoki curious what her grandfather would say.

Orochimaru giggled like a kid as he watched the Uzumaki barrier fail. Surely young lord 4th has gotten some new techniques~ but even that couldn’t stand against the power in come to possess.

Minato!!” Kushina cried out. “Are you okay?! I can’t...move my body!!”

Orochimaru however didn’t expect minato to retaliate with a smoke bomb of all weapons, obscuring him from view. At time like this, a Sharingan would have been helpful. The smoke cleared, revealing a lone kunai remaining. So, it’s going to be a game of hide and seek is it? I like games.

“I’ll play along Lord fourth, I do so want entertainment.” Orochiamru grinned, looking around the arena. “Hmmm now if I were a injured yellow bird, where would I hide? Kushina, is he near the Rashomon?”

Kushina fought back against the words, but she was forced to speak. “N-N-No...it’s clear.”

“Hmmm.....good.” Orochimaru lamented, looking to the rest of his Obedient soldiers. “Hashirama, you check the ground and the trees, and Tobirama you scout with your Water style.”

“When this is done you snake...!” Hashirma said.

“Shhhhhhhhh....” Orochimaru responded, putting a finger on his mouth. “Don’t speak. Just kill.”

They begrudgingly obeyed their new snake master, tobirama conjuring up a wave and sitting himself atop it, skating across the arena looking for minato. Hashirma however seemed to have something in mind.

So, if I lay eyes on minato i’ll Be forced against my will to kill him...but if I don’t see him or notice where he is...yes...yes that could work.

Hashirama created several small trees, as he kept across them, feinting the fact that he wa looking for Minato. He was actually creating more blind spots for the sound so that minato would have more places to hide. Meanwhile, kin and Yukimaru patrolled together, keeping their hearing sharp for heavy breathing or bleeding. Orochiamru walked up to the kunai that was left behind, picking it up in his hand, before seemingly snapping it in two.

Kushina’s gold chains navigated like serpents throughout the arena, hoping to catch minato where ever he was, even puncturing through objects in hopes to find him.

.........

Kimimaru’s eyes narrowed at the shield before him, his spear driving into it. It didn’t pierce much into the shield as he thought it might. The spine rope also seemed to have missed his target. He knew that At would not simple leave him be, so he knew he had a option before him. He closed his eyes, taking his spear and his spine rope together, melding it into one. What came of it was a ravenous looking sword, with pointed tip with sweated edges that was held together by cartilage and bone. The density of both of the weapons were magnified together, forming a extremely dense attacks weapon.

“Camellia Dance, Second Step!”

He could only focus on what target with this weapon, so he chose Ay, which he knew was mainly close range oriented. He caught him off guard once, and he knew he was going to go at him again, and fast. He took the dense sword, which was said to shatter diamonds to bits. He created a bone barrier in front of himself, limiting access at least slightly to the Kage. He couldn’t predict the Kage normally due to his speed, but if he could limit access, he could filter him into certain areas. So there was only one plausible direction, so he to prepare for it. He took his newly crafted sword and drove it to meet with the Kage behind him. It was only a fleshy hand under that electricity, not physical. If he could drive through he could cripple the raikage.

The serpent burst, mei’s tactics provingsuccessful over the beast. Kabuto drowning as the flaming serpent lie dead before him. He adjusted his glasses as well as his plan. He grabbed a kunai, and touched it, the blade glowing blue as he hurled it toward Mei. She’ll never guess what’ll happen next. After he did so, he seemed to make a rather extensive set of handsigns

Taiyo continued his fall back down, hoping to land somewhat safely. Meanwhile with Tsuki, she looked over at Kiro who was fruitlessly trying to claw his way out. That seemed to be a better option than falling down a hill with no apparent end. The Yuki-nin had enough of crying so she decided to stand tall and look for a solution. At that moment, the ground she was standing on gave way and soon she was sent plummeting like Taiyo.
this is it, this is where I die... Tsuki thought hopelessly, wanting to hug someone, anyone for comfort. Meanwhile, Taiyo had landed on his puppet arms, which only intensified the pain in his side. He wondered if he fell down alone, so he decided to call out for anyone he knew.
"TSUKI? RAIKU? ANYONE?" The Leaf-nin screamed out, but to no avail, he was seemingly alone, and it was his fault he had gotten himself here.

Zaku awaited an enemy to fall from the sky, but instead, got a lot...a LOT of debris. Dosu took cover while Zaku released a controlled gust of air to create a bubble for himself. Rocks toppling over the field, even taking out another pillar. The debris seemed to seperate him and Dosu, as Dosu went farther away as to avoid big plates of tile heading toward him.

“Dosu, dosu! Come back here!”

The debris comepelty obscured Dosu from view, and soon that entire path as well. It got even darker than before, the sights of everyone in the previous room...gone. He didn’t have any visual on any of them.

“...well this sucks...”

Raiku watched the scene between Taiyo and Zaku unfold and the aftermath caused his eyes to widen.

Oh shit.

He began falling down and eventually saw a chakra signature with his Sharingan. He fell on the person and the pain of the fall got rid of the Genjutsu he placed on himself. After letting out a grunt he got back on his feet before recognizing the chakra signature. He touched the person's hair and realized it was spiky.

"OH ARE YOU SERIOUS! I'M STUCK IN THIS PLACE I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE WITH A MURDERER?! Wait... this is perfect... I can see you with my Sharingan... hehe... and we're alone so I have you all to myself... Let's finish this right now"

His breath had almost stopped as Kiro saw in slow motion that he nearly missed the point he aimed to grab onto. It was a part of a broken vent that Sagisō had destroyed when she crashed into the room. He held onto it, desperately trying to pull himself as the cave closed in. As the light disappeared from above him, the only thing that allowed him to see was the light his lightning armor was giving out. As he held onto the edge of the vent, Kiro could feel it moving. That’s when Kiro realized that it still wasn’t stable. Just like the other debris that was falling, the vent would fall apart soon enough. But not just the vent, his enire escape route had been covered by falling debt.

Cursing under his breath, Kiro used his upper body strength to go in a swinging motion, going back and forth as he held on to the edge of the vent. The vent wouldn’t hold for much longer at the speed he was going at and Kiro had to figure out a way to prevent himself from falling. Then he felt a rumble before the vent started to move. It was now or never. Going in a forward motion as well as maximizing his momentum with lightning armor, Kiro swung himself upwards.

Focusing chakra to his feet and hands, Kiro planned to stick to the wall of the hole. It worked as Kiro stuck to the side of the hole with his hands and feet. His lightning armor protecting him from the remaining debris that were falling.

Soon enough, there was just silence and darkness. Less and less debris stopped falling until it stopped all together. The cave in had been completed and Kiro was trapped. He looked down with his sharingan to see if there were any chakra signatures. He must’ve been too high up or the rest were dead. Either way, he couldn’t see any noticeable chakra except his own. Even they were still alive, they wouldn’t be making it out of this hell hole. Kiro looked up and just saw darkness. The cave in had covered up the hole Sagisō had made as well as any exit for Kiro. Even in death, she still haunted him.

“Damn it!” Kiro muttered to himself as he started to slowly climb up. There were destroyed pipes, rocks, as well a huge chunk of the collapsed medical wing covering the hole. “I’m not going to die in this hell hole.” Kiro convinced himself that he would make it out one way or another. At the very least, he wasn’t dead down in the deep dark pit. If he died, atleast they would find his body instead leaving it too rot in that pit. Kiro angrily punched through a collapsed wall as he began trying to claw his way out.

Zaku resigned himself to the fact that he and Dosu were seperated. That’s just great, in enemy territory surrounded by hostiles with no ally in sight. At least they can’t see me.

Right as he thought this, a foreign body landed on him, sending him flopping to the ground. His eyes swirled before he shook his head, getting back his composure. Zaku got up, cocking his head at Raiku, which he could just barley make out in the dark environment.

“What do you have against me, eh? I was just assigned to take care of some areas is all.” Zaku complained. “It’s not like you loved the idea of the leaf village last time we met. How did you put it? You curse the leaf?”

Zaku remembered meeting him once, but briefly after the first exam, stomping out when he lost, raving about the leaf village and mumbling curses. If he were lucky, he could avoid fighting an Uchiha.

........

Dosu sighed as he closed his eyes, isolated from Zaku. He used his heightened sense of hearing to navigate around in the darkness, not even making so much as a misstep. He moved along the corridor, ignoring his seperation and seemed to go on over to attempt to complete his mission.

Shizi watched as his kunai were easily deflected by his target. The knives ended up being stuck to the ceiling and the floor somewhere behind her. It was a girl that appeared to be around his age with one killer glare. He simply returned the favor, determined to get that scroll from her. "Well I'm sorry, but I can't let you take that scroll." Shizi said with a smirk.

The shinobi wasn't expecting the girl to be so aggressive with such a precious item on her back. She came in like a bullet, but Shizi was able to lift his forearm in time to block the kick. However, she was able to achieve her initial goal in putting space between the two as the teen went sliding back across the floor. Knowing that she would most likely try and escape, Shizi sprung his trap. He tossed three more kunai into the floor and ceiling behind the girl.

"And now I've got you." Shizi said while beginning to weave signs. Ox...Hare...Tiger. "Ninja Art: Lion's Den!"

On queue, the back ends of Shizi's kunai knives ignited in brilliant flames. The flames then shot out in a straight line, the many flame lines creating an intricate web of flames behind the girl. Shizi smirked, "Well well well, looks like you aren't getting out of here unless you really can put me out of commission." he said, drawing a second kunai to combat against her.

Katsuo had slowly drifted back into sleep after talking with Ichiko, completely unaware of the fights occurring around him as he took some leisure time to re-energize. Unfortunately, this didn't last long as the whole building rumbled gently for a moment, causing Ichiko to jump to her feet and head into the main hall of the west wing, seeing the large support beam holding the building in place crumble apart and give way at the base.
"No...!" Her heart rate spiked as she darted toward the collapsing support beam, wrenching her body underneath it and digging her feet into the newly formed rubble below her.
"Here.....goes!" He grunted, pressing all her strength against the base of the beam, her body slowly being consumed by the floor as she did so, only stopping once she was waist deep in solid ground.
"Oh man, this is bad. I need support now!" She yelled to no one in particular as she stared up at her shaking arms, stunned that she actually managed to support the weight of the entire west hallway like this, but sure her strength would fade soon.

Meanwhile, in Katsuos room, the floor had began to crater into a bottomless pit, being closer to the blast point than Ichiko. Katsuo's still unconscious body plummeted into the darkness below, not a sound escaping as he disappeared into the abyss.

Once the Leaf-nin had realized he was alone, he sighed. This was bad, not only were people invading his village, he was practically powerless to stop it, moreover, medical rooms were probably collapsing down right now due to Zaku's Extreme Decapacitating Airwaves. He felt around for a stick or something he could use as a torch, but to no avail. And since Taiyo couldn't keep a fireball in his hand without it flying away, he was left in the dark. Regardless, the Leaf-nin fruitlessly pressed on. Meanwhile, Tsuki had recently landed, her landing being softened by a pile of snow she created when she was falling, however, her landing was semi hard. Once she dusted herself off, the Yuki-nin decided to call out for any of her allies.
"TAIYO? RAIKU? ANYONE?" She yelled, only to be met with dead silence. She shuddered in fear and traversed nervously through the tunnel.

Minato had raced to get over this grim feeling that the edo-tensei of Kushina & Naruto brought him before he heard Orochimaru begin his search of him. Minato had also taken note of several small trees that had began to form from Hashirama he presumed. However, these trees seemed to do little to help with the search, if anything all they did was provide Minato more cover from Tobirama above as well as the rest of...

Lord First...even now, in your present condition you do what is best for the village. I could never thank you enough for your service.

Minato took advantage of the cover as he swiftly moved through the foliage cover; careful to avoid making a sound as he had done his best to remain out of view of Tobirama & the Jinchuriki while he placed seals in precise locations along said foliage. Minato formed a plan, even if he lacked his usual spirit or drive he had before in spite of the stakes.

That snake has me outnumbered. At the moment I am outnumbered. But if I can take out his allies one by one and bring it back to just me and him, I can still do this.

Minato's self pep talk had been disrupted by the sounds of bark breaking as he glanced over and saw Kushina's chains that tore through some of the trees Hashirama had generated. Minato grit his teeth, for someone who loved this village like Kushina to be forced to go against it....there was no low that monster had been unwilling to cross, and he vowed he'd make him pay.

But Minato needed to focus, as he generated a clone and sent it in the direction of the chains; and thankfully it managed a graceful dodge between them as the clone swiftly moved along the opposite end of the foliage where it would hopefully attract the chains to chase. The clone was far from done though, as it then tossed a flash bomb into the air, which had naturally given away its position to the pursuers however...

Bang!

A bright light enveloped all who looked into it, which in this case Minato hoped would be Orochimaru & his allies as the Kage was quick to follow up. In a concealed position by where Kin & Yukimaru had been patrolling as Minato formed some hand signs and whispered his next technique.

"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

Minato lacked the skill with Kushina to use this technique to its full potential, but the chains shot forward and seemed good enough to ensnare the pair of Jinchuriki not that Minato had been aware of their status to this point. Regardless Minato hoped to snatch the pair and bind them in the cover of the flash bomb.

Ay seemed destined to go on a collision course with Kimimaro's sword, but the Raikage had been blessed with superhuman reaction speed on top of his combat speed as he saw the sword coming and slammed his feet to the floor and came to a sudden stop with only the tip of the blade as it pressed against Ay's skin; a trinkle of blood could be seen even with the lightning chakra mode covering his body. Ay shot a glare at the younger Oto-nin as he aimed to grab the sword.

"Upstart brat, I'll show you what happens when you get in the way of my revenge!" Ay called out as he aimed to violently toss and slam Kimimaro over his electric coated knee.

Mei herself opted to dodge the kunai as she jumped to the side and formed some hand signs before she spat a plume of lava aimed right for Kabuto. Far from the most, graceful tactic she could muster, but given her experience in that snake she opted to try and settle this quickly.

"YASU! MADOKA!"

Tomiko, who had managed to scramble just out of the range of the cave in, glanced at the empty abyss before her and naturally had been concerned. Once more, a wave of guilt filled her body as she was further reminded of how...how useless she was in her condition. Her friends could be dead for all she knew and she had been unable to do anything.

"Come on, are you really gonna let even this just slide?"

"While I'd appreciate nothing more than to teach a lesson to whoever tried to blast my eardrums out, the fact is again. This doesn't concern us."

Tomiko glanced behind her as it appeared she ran to the section where Ino, Sakura, Onoki & Kurotsuchi had been. Ino & Sakura worked to heal the injured medical-nin & patients who had tried to recover from Dosu & Zaku's combo sound technique. During this Kurotsuchi and Onoki had maintained their argument still about whether or not to get involved in this as Tomiko's eyes widened at the sight of such honored ninja of her own people. Tomiko desired to be Iwagakure one day, so Onoki had been an idol of hers even since she was a kid and made it a point to be every bit the ninja he had been. So Tomiko listened intently to the conversion between him and his grandaughter.

"Doesn't concern us? What if that snake goes after Iwagakure next! Look what he and his affiliates have done here!"

"It could have been Konoha-nin as far as we know. In the chaos of war that is impossible to determine. My duty is to look over Iwagakure and its people. What happens to anyone else here is none of our concern."

None of our concern. None of our concern? Tomiko could not believe she heard those words, after an entire half of a medical bay had been caved in by these invaders for her own idol and nation's leader to just disregard all the death & destruction as if it had been nothing shook the Genin to her core. Tomiko had to work to rationalize those words, perhaps Onoki simply needed some reason to get invested in this. After all, she had been an Iwa-nin so her personal account of the events might convince Onoki this was something to get involved into.

"Um, Lord Tsuchikage. Sir. I-I can attest that it was not Konoha-nin who caused this cave in. And the situation is grim! There are several Genin down there who may be hurt & in need of care. And there are some invading nin who may aim to tear this hospital down completely. I nearly got driven down but was aided by friends of other nations. We need to help them!" Tomiko urged, as Kurotsuchi smiled at the girl for the suggestion though before Kurotsuchi could voice her support Onoki cast a single glance at the Genin and seemed to have an indifferent expression.

"And? Were there other Iwa-nin down there? Were any declarations made again Iwa in this exchange of yours?" Onoki asked which confused Tomiko as she thought it over.

"W-well no but..."

"But nothing. Since you seem well enough getting involved in this mess is only gonna cause more of a headache and my back to be sore. Not worth the effort even if it meant payback to whoever tried to crush my eardrums."

------------
Madoka had little time to catch her breath before she saw what appeared to be falling bits of debris, so Madoka did what had been an impulsive again as she shoved Yasu to one side and rolled herself to the opposite one; dragging the pieces of Raven with chakra threads.

Madoka had succeeded in saving herself & Yasu from being crushed, on the other hand the debris created a barrier between herself and the puppet user which caused Madoka to scowl and then grit her teeth as a sharp pain on her back was felt.

Don't be a wimp. You need to find some way around this. To get to Yasu, to get us out of this literal hell hole...

Madoka got to her feet and, after picking up the broken pieces of Raven, began to walk through the darkness of the tunnel. Madoka believed she was alone until she heard a voice call out.

"TAIYO? RAIKU? ANYONE?"

"Over here!" Madoka called out as she moved forward to great the femimine voice and saw it was...that girl who showed her notebook to Tomiko while she operated on Taiyo. Madoka had to presume she was a friend or relative of some kind.

-------------
Kenji faced a smiliar situation as he saw debris coming down on himself and rather than push Furījia away held her close before he jumped to the opposite side of the unconscious Sagiso

Soon enough, a wall had been made of debris between Kenji & Furījia and Sagiso as Kenji took a moment to view said wall before he shook his head.

Typical. Go to all that trouble and she basically slept through it. If we end up surviving this then she still likely won't know my name. I just can't win...

Knowing that Kenji lacked control over that, Kenji decided to focus his efforts on the person he seemed to be stuck with. Furījia, not that he knew much about her beyond being someone who came with Sagiso during the medical room showdown before things had gone to the gutter. Kenji wanted to check if the girl could move, or was even conscious or alive by this point as he crouched over her.

"Hey, you okay? I went through a lot of trouble to save you so you'd better not be dead." Kenji said, the naturally motivator within all too clear to see as he waited for a response if there had been one at all.

Azumi cursed, as suddenly this make-shift barrier of flames had cut off her direct escape route. The flame web would take time to remove, and if she focused on that then this guy was bound to strike and take the scroll on her back. Azumi could not afford to risk that, so she would have to take care of this guy first before she did anything else. And she'd have to do it quickly, as the battle intensified outside between the Konoha-nin and the Oto-nin.

Azumi turned her back to her opponent, as she removed the scroll and held it in front of her. With a few hand signs she ended up seemingly sealing it into a smaller scroll that she had held on display before she set it aside to the side. Azumi then set some paper bombs around it and even on the bottom of it as a sort of trap before she faced the shinobi.

"If you try to take that scroll & carelessly touch it, you will be blown to bits and neither of us get the scroll. You'll need focus and attention to detail to remove the explosive tags without blowing up the scroll. Something I will not allow so long as I am not put out of commission." Azumi explained, as the set up had been made clear enough; the two were now gonna have to fight till the other had been taken out and the winner would get the scroll that appeared to contain the ultimate prize. Azumi held her umbrella up in front of her as she shot a death glare to the shinobi; her focus and intent on the task at hand all too clear.

"Should be noted, I nearly killed someone during the exams on more than one occasion. If I am willing to do that to win a mere exam battle then you should be prepared for what may come if you do not back down." Azumi warned though she had been quick to follow up on that threat as she opened her umbrella and fired multiple senbon from it targeted right at the shinobi

Orochimaru perked up when he witnessed the equivalent of a flash bang go off. How did we allow this to happen? It came from the trees, but how? Hashirama was already- wait. Hashirama. Oh of course~. Orochimaru couldn’t see what Minato was doing, as he was completely blinded by the flash for a bit.

The first hokage was purposely neglecting to look toward the tree cover, as he ward a flash go off. He smirked to himself and nodded his head. Looks like he took my cover. Good...he may have had enough time to treat his bleeding. Hashirma couldn’t fight his movements when he figured out where his location was. His conjured up roots, emerging from the roof tiles to try and stab Minato with their large thorny tendrils.

Kin and Yukimaru shielded their eyes, not expecting such a front toward them. Kin’s arms were latched by chains, which she could now see. What?!? She struggled to break free, spitting corrosive liquid all over the chains from her mouth. The chains didn’t seem like they wanted to budge. Yukimaru seemed to panic, balling his fists, bringing them closer to his face.

“Come on...emerge...”

Calling upon the three tails, Yukimaru slowly began to glow, blue energy radiating around him. Before he could he stopped by the admantine chains, Kushina’s superior chains smashed down on Minato’s breaking them into pieces. Kushina somberly looked toward the scene before her, seeing lord First’s root tendrils come to secure minato. She decided to do the same, her chains coming from Minato’s front, trying to subdue him.

Orochimaru signaled over to the second hokage like a puppet, forcing him to create a large wave and flush it into the tree line, trying to cover all his bases to limit any suprises he might face. Orochiamru looked over to his side, seeing the young baby naruto on the ground. He chuckled lightly, picking him up and peered into the crying Infant’s face.

“Hmmmmm, hard to believe you little mouse came from the Yellow flash...” Orochimaru’s tounge trailed his face. “Your daddy will join you soon enough...kehehehehe!”

................

Kimimaru didn’t take into account Ay’s Superior reaction speed and was kneed in the gut by the Kage. It fractured his rib cage, tearing open the meat in his chest as well. He coughed up blood, trying to repair the damage as quick as possible. He could bend bone, but not flesh nearly easily. He would need Kabuto to heal a lot of this damage later, but he couldn’t afford to leave himself open to more attacks. Staying in close combat with Ay in his current state would he suicide.

“You won’t lay a finger...on Orochimaru-Sama!”

His broken rib cage was ejected from his body, sent toward the close range Ay. The rib cage opened up, growing barbs and spikes over every centimeter of it. Ay has good reaction time sure, but against close ranged unorthodox attacks? Perhaps not. The rib cage would aim to wrap it’s opponet with the ribs, and clamp down on them. Kimimaru meanwhile threw himself off of Ay’s knee, attempting to heal his wounds as he spiraled toward the ground, battered.

Kabuto snickered as he expected such a move. His plan was going well, besides the snake plan failing. Plan B was underway, the chakra energized kunai hit the railing of the roof, creating a small but audible pulse. The signal had been sent as rumbling was heard underneath them.

“For a kage, you are very predictable.” Kabuto adjusted his glasses. “Orochimaru sends his regards.”

A loud *BOOM* shook the area, as Kabuto fell through a seemingly carved hole. Under the mizukage, the ground exploded violently, the tiles around her rigged to blow. Behind her was Kimimaru’s Bone field, and below her an explosion. Kabuto under the previous battle area, was surpluses with thirteen sound ninja, who had carved the hole Underneath his feet.

“The explosion diversion tactic was a success sir!” A sound ninja reported. “She has no idea we had mined her side of the field!”

“Don’t count your chickens yet, she is a Kage. Expect the unexpected.”

Taiyo was getting increasingly frustrated, as no one was near him at this time nor did there seem to be any way out yet. That is until these words had echoed throughout the tunnel.
"Hey, you okay? I went through a lot of trouble to save you so you'd better not be dead," Unbeknownst to him, this voice had belonged to Kenji, a Genin Taiyo had yet to meet, but in his time of desperation, he traveled to the voice to meet up with the source. Tsuki threw herself onto Madoka, crying into her chest in relief.
"I thought I was going to die down here!" Tsuki sobbed as she continued to bury her head in Madoka's chest.

“So then...this is the sound’s true colors...”

Kai blinked, before turning behind himself to meet the voice. It belonged to a Yuki clan member, in that had covered most of his face except his eyes, with their clan insignia on his chest. He had two swords on his back and a long pale blue robe. Kai gave him his full attention, tapping on Kanshi to do the same.

“Father? You were quiet for some time, is something wrong?”

“Simply thinking my boy. Thinking about the future of our people.”

Kai pauses, intrigued by the mystery of that statement. “Do tell, I have some thoughts of my own.”

Kai’s father, leader of the Yuki clan, waved his hand along kai’s ice barrier, making it as clear as glass, watching Mei’s battle with Kabuto and Kimimaro. His eyes squinted as he saw her attack them with multiple attempts of lava style.

“Mei is hellbent In helping the leaf, too much so. Keeping them open as a life line and trade partner is one thing, but aiding them in a war and dragging our village into it was reckless. She’s risking our civilians, our ninja, our livelyhoods on the merits of a village that wouldn’t do the same in kind. She has a good heart, but a good heart cannot lead a people. She’s becoming a liability.”

This made many of the mist delegates think, stroke their chins, or groan at the concept. But it definitely seemed to gather a curiosity amongst them, and even a openness to some of them. Kai was never one to miss an opportunity, so he stood up on a seat in the stands and addressed his older audience.

“I knew this day would come. One where the leader of the mist would care more about the likes of the Xeno then her own people. Just today, we were bombed and she was concerned about the public image to others rather than the safety of the mist involved! She’s a populist, one which would put several mist soldiers to death for the sake of diplomacy. Now I may be but a genin, but even I know that such actions have consequences!”

The risk of sounding treasonous seemed to be worth it, as his words struck a chord with many of the delegates there, or at least managed to draw them to Kai’s father’s viewpoint. Kai’s father looked to his son, arching an eyebrow, but gave a small smile.

“You heard the small Yuki. I cannot speak for all of you, but the Yuki clan is heading back to the mist village, where we belong. Not in this hell house of a Xeno melting pot. If you support our failing Kage, by all means stay. But know that the strongest clan of the mist will not aid you or defend you if you choose so.”

With that, the leader of the Yuki clan turned his back on them, and began calmly walking down the exit of the coliseum. One by one several delegates seemed to join in, the entire Yuki clan delegation plus several others that he and Kai managed to convince. Around half however stayed, loyal to their Kage. Kai has been walking with his father as his looked down to Kai.

“Kai. We have one Yuki member unaccounted for. A girl named Tsuki. You must go reclaim her at once and bring her back from the hands of the Xenos, Understood?”

Kai sighed at the name, but couldn’t fight the logic of rescuing a ninja of mist blood. “Yes father, I’ll make sure she comes home intact.”

“Good. I expect nothing less from the heir to the clan. Kanshi, go with him. But do not cause a scene, is that clear?”

Furījia faced Kenji was opened eyes. She'd been awake for most of their fall and Kenji's subsequent attempts to rescue both her and Sagisō. She struggled to her feet, stumbling once or twice before she managed to stand with the aid of a nearby steel beam. "I'm alive...and thank you..." She performed a painfully slow series of a stretches as her bones emitted pops. When she'd finally regained a decent level of mobility, she did what any other Hyūga would do in this situation.

"Byakugan!" Focusing her chakra into her eyes she took a look around...and gave up immediately. While she was able to see for hundreds of meters in every direction, the stones that littered this underground cave didn't give much in the way of identification. To her, everything in a 200m radius looked exactly the same. Even further beyond that, she picked up on the chakra signatures of others who seemed to have fallen down with them. Besides Kenji, the closest chakra signature was, of course, Sagisō. Furījia stared at, or rather through, the pile of debris that separated her from her sister. It seemed that Sagisō had also gotten up and started performing a quick scan of her surroundings.

A few moments passed before a loud bang shook the surrounding walls of the cavern. Sagisō had just attempted to force her way through the wall of debris to no avail. She frowned, but eventually sighed in resignation and gave up. She couldn't use any jutsu of significant power as she didn't wish to cause another cave-in. Sagisō's brow was furrowed in concern, and her fingers found their way to the rubble, stroking against the rocks gently, a gesture she knew Furījia would be able to see. It was the only comfort she could offer the younger Hyūga.

"Oi...Kenji right..? I...well..." She fumbled over her words, failing to find the proper ones to convey her emotions. After a few more failed attempts she simply settled with, "...protect my sister...I'll make it up to you." Her voice was filled with a melancholy determination, the sadness of helplessness meshing together with the will to protect what little familial connections she still had. She whipped around without further ado and stalked off into the cavern, her fading footsteps indicating her departure. Although she couldn't make sense of the winding tunnels of the labyrinth-like caverns, she still chose to keep her Byakugan opened. She glanced upwards, noting that Kiro was trying to claw his way through the rumble and back to the surface. He would likely fail though. If he kept going in his current direction he'd end up right in the middle of either the Kage's battle of the nest of summoned serpents, neither of which would be too concerned about his well-being. Well, that was assuming his actions of the actions of those battling above him didn't cause a second or third cave in. Either way, at this point, she didn't care. Her first priority was reuniting with Furījia.

Given that Kimimaro had been preoccupied with Ay, Rasa saw opportunity as he flew his gold dust "vessel" towards the roof where Minato had been cut off from help from this barrier. Rasa landed beyond the barrier on the tiled roof as he gazed into it, and shot a small sphere of gold dust into it.

Naturally, the sphere failed to make an impression on it. And the effort only caused it to set the golden sand ablaze before it crumbled to the ground. Rasa knew that there was no direct way through or over the barrier, as the jutsu was quite powerful and covered seemingly all weak spots. This meant that one would have to wait out for the ones who made the barrier to exhaust themselves, but he doubted someone as cruel and cunning as Orochimaru would allow just anyone to lean this technique. So high stamina was an expected given, though the tiled floor both outside the barrier and inside inspired Rasa to try some unconventional tactic.

Rasa began to squeeze his gold dust in the tiny spaces between tiles outside the barrier as he snuck the gold dust underneath the barrier as it traveled between the tiles and emerged through them on the other side. Rasa still had the capacity to see what was going on inside the barrier, and positioned himself to where he'd be as close to Minato as he could and where he could get the best view from.

This had not gone unnoticed, as Tayuya had prime view of what Rasa was doing though for the life of the Oto-nin she could not figure out what he aimed to pull with this. Tayuya had to focus on the barrier so it was not as if she had much option to stop his ploy anyway as she figured whatever he was doing was a futile gesture. Still....

What the fuck is he planning?

-----------
Minato had not known what was worse, the fact that his tactic to bind the Jinchuriki had failed by Kushina's forced hand or the fact that the demon responsible for this had the gull to speak to his son. Minato's teeth grit in clear anger, though he had no time to dwell on that as Kushina's chains and Hashirama's roots closed in on him. To add to this, the sounds of water seemed that seemed to be traveling along the trees that Hashirama had generated. Minato drew a kunai as he prepared to warp away to one of the marked sections of the tree line.

Crash!

Out of nowhere however, gold dust appeared from the tiles of the floor behind Minato as a large sand hand had formed and blocked the chains & roots. Minato instantly knew who to credit with this, though his shock was ever evident.

Lord Kazekgae...how did you?

Minato had little time to celebrate as the hand would only last so long so he warped away to another section of the tree line before he ran away from said tree line to avoid the flood of Tobirama. Minato walked over to where he could see Rasa on the other side of the barrier as he saw him leak sand through the tiles and gave a gracious nod.

"I apologize Minato, givne the circumstances I cannot offer much more aid beyond this." Rasa explained as Minato gave a nod while he kept his gaze forward as he and Rasa had their whispered conversation.

"I understand, but any help is appreciated. I am indebted to you, and there is more you can do to help me than you think...."

Minato then whispered an idea to Rasa, who gave a nod as he began to pump more gold dust as it traveled through the tiles towards Orochimaru & his forces while Minato moved forward with two kunai drawn. His glare focused on Orochimaru and the son he held in his hands. Tayuya saw all this with wide-eyed shock which had been highlighted by a simple though not so elegant phrase.

"Mother F...!"

Ay growled as he hoped back with his speed in an effort to avoid this, this barbed rib cage thought had been an unconventional method of attack as they pricked and sliced bits of his shoulder, arms and sides but he managed to avoid being captured as some blood dripped from those areas which showed he did not escape unscathed.

Did that seem to concern Ay as it would have normal ninja? Not much, as all it seemed to go was caused his scowl to deepen as his LCM only flickered and crackled with greater intensity.

"Your blind loyalty to that snake is sickening. But it matters not brat, I will gain vengeance in the name of Kumogakure!" Ay said before he vanished as he sped towards Kimimaro and aimed to deliver a running shoulder tackle towards that injured side of the Kaguya-nin.

Mei had jumped into the air on impulse as a powerful explosion all around the roof of the building their fought on had occurred. Mei had to admit she was one to have been prepared for most situations but even this amazed her.

To prepare something so elaborate, for a building that was not even where the Kage stood. They came prepared, I'll admit that much.

Mei's body began to fall where it appeared a swarm of sound ninja where waiting. Well, Mei had her own idea to stall hitting the ground and give those ninja below a...blazing surprise.

"Fire Style, Empress Flame Jutsu!"

Mei fired a powerful stream of fire from her mouth, targeted at Kabuto & the Oto-nin waiting below the blown up roof while the force of the flame actually pushed her up in the air away from the ground. Though Mei knew she could not avoid the ground forever, and likely this fire would not dispose of all the Oto-nin despite her best hopes as she scrambled to think of a solution.

-----------
"LADY MIZUKAGE!"

Chojuro, who slashed an Oto-nin before him, heard the rumble of the explosion along with Darui and the other Konoha Jonin as the battle that involved the Kage grew intense.

"We need to protect the Kage!" Kakashi stressed as he clashed Kunai with another Oto-nin before he used a second one to slash his throat.

"Easier said than done, with these ninja around we can't afford to go or the civilians an other ninja foreign & domestic will be at risk." Guy pointed out as he delivered a swift kick that shattered the ribs of an Oto-nin.

"Leave it to us."

Shisui's words were heard loud and clear, just before Chojuro had a chance to interject as he and two other of the ANBU who had not fallen asleep moved towards the building that Mei was fighting on. They made it in time to see the building's roof all but destroyed as Mei fired a powerful stream of flames.
-----------
Madoka blinked, taken aback by the sudden appearance of the girl who had began to cry on her chest. Madoka knew nothing about this girl so this was an akward introduction, though given the circumstances the fear had been understandable as Madoka patted her back.

"It's okay, but we're not out of the woods yet. We need to find a way out of here and back to the surface." Madoka pointed out to Tsuki as she hoped that she could hear her over the sounds of her crying.

-----------
"...protect my sister...I'll make it up to you."

Kenji heard the words of Sagiso, as it appeared that both he and who was revealed to be her sister were alive and able to move. Though the wall of debris had prevented her from joining them which had been a bummer since her skills would have been quite useful in this emergency situation.

Still, if this sister was also a Hyuga then she'd have those same skills at least as fat as the Byakugan had been concerned. And instead of a joke or some quip Kenji merely gave a nod as he faced the debris wall with the knowledge Sagiso was on the other side.

"I will, you have my word on that."

Kenji then saw someone else approach them, that fire-nin Frankenstein who blew up his arms and had in part been the reason they ended up in this mess in the first place.

Fantastic. Well if I want to go out in a literal blaze I guess this guy is ideal.

None the less, Kenji knew he, Furījia & Taiyo needed to stick together to give themselves the best chance to make it out of this mess. So Kenji motioned for Taiyo to come close to them before he turned to Furījia.

"So, I don't suppose you know the best path to get out of here. Or even just regroup with others, like your sister." Kenji asked of Furījia before he turned to Taiyo.

"We'll need to stick together if we are gonna make it out of this mess that you helped create." Kenji added on, with a subtle jab at Taiyo for his role in making this mess that now enemy & ally had to endure but also making it clear that they should work as a unit to survive this regardless of that.

Tomiko had been speechless, while she was not naive enough to expect her Tsuchikage to jump into Konoha's aid at the drop of a hat but for him to remain uncaring after what happened to the medical wing had been beyond her belief.

"L-lord Tsuchikage, I know it isn't my place to object but I urge you to reconsider! Look around you!" Tomiko said as she gestured her head to the caved in half of the medical-nin and then towards the injured medical-nin & patients that Sakura & Ino had been treating; with Ino acting as Sakura's assistant before she turned back to her Tsuchikage.

"Look at this! I know Konoha is no ally, but to turn a blind eye to such atrocities is just unspeakable! These people are not combat-nin, they simple desire to treat the injured and help people. Do you have such disdain for them that you'd even disregard their injured and medical-nin even when you see the pain they are being dealt right before your eyes!?" Tomiko cried out, her passion quite clear as Onoki avoided eye contact and let out a grumble though he did take note of the treated injured and destruction all around him as he kept both Tomiko & Kurotsuchi on edge.

“What?!” Sakon watched as the sand swept in to the arena. “How did this happen...?! How did he-“

“Brother.” Ukon hushed, his finger coming out of Sakon’s wrist. “Look there.”

Ukon’s finger pointed toward the tiles on the ground, a look of realization spreading across his face.

“Everyone! We must do the next step to the formation!”

Ukon made the handsign of snake before splitting from his brother. He channeled chakra into his palms and clapped them together, slamming them on the ground. A purple lining stretched across to the other corners where Jirobo, Tayuy, and kidomaru stood. It connected all four corner before making a bright purple flash, purple light pouring in as everything touching the ground was vaporizing!

.......

Orochimaru’s eyes looked to the ground glowing purple, Ukon’s chakra flooding into the barrier. So, it’s that formation eh? I knew there was a reason to keep him around~ Still carrying the baby, Orochimaru sneered at Minato, giving a signal to Kushina, whom immediately recognized her new master’s request. She clapped her hands together, the adamantkne chains coming under her feet and that of the Rashomon. Sever chains wrapped around the Rashomon before it uprooted it from it’s base, keeping it suspended in the air.

Kin quickly shook off her now broken restraints before grabbing on to Kushina’s chains, Yukimaru close in tow. Orochimaru lunged himself upwards, landing on top of the rashomon as it tilted. It titled until it’s long gate was facing down, making a perfect foothold. Then, something loud reverberated throughout the arena.

*VRRRRRSSSSSSH!!!!!!*

The ground energized, the trees that hashirama had placed sunk down into the energy below, melting into ash. The floor tiles themselves all snapped into pieces all at once, before being melted down.

The first hokage’s eyes widened, but couldn’t express himself, as Orochiamru seemed to be strengthing his hold on him, most likely after that last stunt he pulled to aid Minato. He began to weave some handsigns.

“Wood style! Wood Dragon Jutsu!”

Wood manifested themselves from the remains of the other trees currently melting. They formed a hook nosed dragon with thousands of wooden spikes coating it’s body. Hashirma mounted the creature, stepping on it’s head as it flew him up to safety.

Tobirama simply jetted himself upwards on a stream of watr, floating above the rashomon. Water began to seep above him, a large pool of water synthesizing. Kin looked at the water pooled up in the sky, turning to Yukimaru. They nodded together, shooting streams of water, and boiling acid up into the giant pool. It looked as if an boiling ocean ocean were in the sky! then they all clamped their hands together.

“Water Style, Gaia’s Tears!”

The new jutsu was unleashed, the boiling water hybrid raining down from the sky, like knives, ttryjng to cover everywhere mianto culdn possibly run to. It didn’t rain in his allies, Hashirma and Orochimaru's contingent. Orochimaru, still clutching the baby laughed at the spectical

“Hehehe, it’s time for the kage’s reign to end~”

............

Kimimaru, still falling, heard Ay’s words, knowing he was going to preform a counterattack within a moment or two. He shouldn’t monologue...it gives time for the other to plan a counteroffensive. Kimimaru’s eyes flashed open, his curse mark radiating with power. He knew he could never ootspeed his target, but if he could limit his movement like before...or prevent any means of escape...he knew what he had to do.

Kimimaru flipped around, his arms outstretched and his eyes clenched shut.

“Aschellus Dance!!!!”

Kimimaru’s body seemed to rip apart, his chest sprouting with bone spikes, his tail as well. Kimimaru’s limbs, chest, even skull burst with bones. Not only that, but the bone field they were fighting it all came to cascade on Ay, several of them shattering into thousands of pieces, hurling bone bullets at him. His path was small, and filled with spikes coming to encapsulate his movements. He was utterly surrounded. Kimimaru screamed in agony as blood spewed from him. The dance was said to be a one time ritual, as Kabuto said to only use it if he had nothing to lose.

Kabuto hadn’t expect Mei to retaliate fighting fire with Fire. Thinking quickly, he turned to his soldier who had placed the bombs in the first place.

“Chameleon formation, stat!”

“Aye sir!”

The earth style sound ninja’s came up, kicking up a Kage plate of ground and covering the hole as lava splashed against it, nearly destroying it in impact. Kabuto watched as it cracked and turned red hot.

“We don’t have much time until it breaks, go to the fall back position!”

Taiyo was taken aback by Kenji's verbal jab. Yes,he knew he had some part in their current situation, but it's not like he knew the consequences of it, the plan was to knock Zaku off balance, he had no idea Zaku would total the medical ward. Still he felt guilty for this.
"I think I can provide light for us, do either of you have something flammable, like a stick?" Taiyo asked, ashamed that he could be blamed for this mess and it was apparent in the way he spoke. Tsuki began to sniffle, it was comforting that Madoka, aside from bring responsible for giving Taiyo puppet arms, being a stranger comforting her.
"Alright, do have ideas where we should go?" The Yuki-nin replied, still choking back tears, but now no longer buried in Madoka's chest.

"Damn it!" Rasa cried out as his sand had been vaporized as Tayuya formed part of her final configuration of the barrier and the gold dust along with anything else on the ground. Rasa had been truly isolated from Minato, something that the Hokage figured out quickly as he jumped in the air to avoid the blazing barrier floor before he glanced up at the rain of boiling water that had seemingly cut off his escape routs.

Though Minato was one to be prepared for any situation, and since Orochimaru orignally cut him off with the Rashomon Minato had made a preparation of his own as he warped to the other end of the Rashomon that he had placed one of his seals on. Given Kushina lifted this it Minato deduced it was one of the "safe spots" that Orochimaru had that protected his allies from the boiling rain.

Can't afford to stick around here. I need a way to avoid the ground at all costs. And I think I know just how to do that...

With that, Minato bit his thumb to draw blood before he formed hand signs as he hung off the Rashomon wall before he placed his palm against it before a large plume of smoke covered him.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Ay scowled at the field altered its shape once more, adding more spiked obstacles as well as bullets that came from all directions. Though Ay seemed far from detoured as his LCM crackled and he rushed towards Kimimaro. Ay moved with surprising grace. Flashing in and out between the bone bullets and landing on the few spaces between spikes for forward progression. Still the spikes limited where he could dash, but he still moved quickly as part of his ankle was cut but he closed the distanced and aimed an electric-charged high speed punch to Kimimaro's face.
-------------
Mei kept her lava stream going as she aimed to melt past the barrier, as she figured she had to do what she could to burn down the opposition as she was outnumbered a great deal and on her own.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Least she had that thought, till an ANBU-nin on a giant hawk summon appeared and floated below her while she hung in the air from the force of the lava attack. Mei had little time to question and could not speak as she kept her lava attack on the Earth barrier.

In the destroyed section of the building, Shisui and the lone other ANBU entered behind Kabuto & his forces as they tossed shiruken at them while they had been distracted as they aimed to weaken the wall and once the wall fell they aimed to bail to let the Mizukage do the damage.
------------

Kenji would refrain from making another comment that concerned Taiyo's part in causing this. The last thing they needed were internal squabbles. Kenji thought over Taiyo's request as he dug through his bag before he let out a sigh.

"Sorry, got no stick. And the only other things I have are ninja tools, paper bombs and a b..."

Kenji froze at that. Indeed, he had more than his usual ninja supplies, he still had that signed collector's edition of the new Icha-Icha Paradise from Jiraiya during the first exam. Paper had been flammable, and so the pages of the book he had could work as material.

But...that book was his treasure! Signed copy by the greatest author of a generation! Kenji couldn't allow a single page to be destroyed. Though given the circumstances his life may have depend upon on it. Though Kenji waited to see of alternative options before he'd have to consider that sacrifice.

------------
"Well, I think we should move down the tunnel and see where that goes. Do you have a light on you or something?" Madoka asked Tsuki as she dug through her own ninja bag to see if there had been anything that could be beneficial to them. Having done her best to ignore the pain in her back and the fact her puppet was in pieces. She'd have to repair Raven after they got out of here.

Yasu groaned in pain as he sat up. The ground was hard and his whole body felt sore, not to mention he couldn't tell where he was. He blinked his eyes and looked around for a second. What had happened? First he was in his medical bed, and then they were getting attacked. How did he get into this dark hole? The last thing he could remember was... Tomiko!

"Tomiko!"

Yasu shot to his feet, ignoring the agonizing feeling in his body as he did so. Where was she? How far away could she be? She's in no condition to fight or defend herself, what if she was injured even more?

“Summoning jutsu!”

The snake frowned at the words he had heard. Not only did this confirm that minato was alive and well, but that he had strength enough to pull off a summon. He looked at the smoke that was appearing and pointed at it. Almost telepathically, the edo tensei soldiers took point. Kushina came first, appearing disgusting similar to a spider, eight of the admantine chains sprouting from her back as she used them to walk around toward Minato’s position.

“Get down!!!”

With a quick movement of her arms, eight coils of chains cane from her sleeves, darting straight toward the cloud of smoke, vanishing inside it. Her goal was to retrain whatever creature Mianto was about to summon. If Orochimaru’s presumptions were correct, then Minato’s teacher could only have taught him one Summoning jutsu. So he prepared for a large amphibian to emerge, knowing how to attack Jirayia’s summons.

Hashirama and Tobirama floated above still. Tobirama continuing the rain while Hashirma forced the wooden dragon to open it’s mouth. Once opened, it sent a wooden block coming from it’s gaping jaws hurtling toward Minato’s clouded position. It split into ten smaller wooden spears, hoping to hit whatever animal he was Summoning.

........

Ay has been persistent, weaving his way past most of his attacks. Kimimaru had to admit, he was outclassed. Normally Kimimaru would never have challenge such a foe, but in this case, he had the advantage. An advantage that may prove fatal for the Kage. Killing a Kage was another plus, as it proved the superiority of the sound to the nations of the world, but that saying it would succeed.

Still screaming, his bone dome he had created for them came closer and closer, making it harder to avoid. The entire field of bone had been used up to do this move and create this dome, not to mention the price he would surely pay for after it. Every single bone in his body erupted vilolently like a broad patch of bone. It ripped through the entire dome, growing in suit, closing in while creating even more spiked patches and prickled edges. Kimimaru’s skin seemed to shred off, being replaced by solely bone to prevent heavier blood loss. The dome had now become a narrow chasm, around seven feet tall and seven feet wide, but very long.

Every wall and surface reached out to kill the Kage, attempting to rip at him with forces harder than steel. They all rotated like drills, not a single inch of the chasm wasn’t trying to kill him. He obstructed the view of Kimimaru, as his body spurted out it’s blood covered bones, irradiating with chakra. There was no light aside Ay’s lightning now, as all the bones of the entire chasm, even all in Kimimaru’s body came to give a fateful death strike to the Kage.

........

Upon the Uchiha interrupting the battle, Kabuto’s plan B didn’t seem to be much of a possibility. He had a few earth ninja and water with him, so he had to weigh his options. An idea popped into mind.

“Plan delta C.”

The sound ninja widened their eyes before nodding their heads. Two ninja cut another hole under Kabuto, while the water nin seemed to release a wave of water around their position. They successfully cut a hole under Kabuto in a rush, as he fell down into the groundwork’s of the exam stadium. When the ninja were done cutting Kabuto’s retreat, the earth ninja clapped their hands together, forming a casing over the hole they had just made.

Not a second after this, the earth ninjas were hit by the shuriken, and the barrier of rock overhead seemed to give way.

“Long live the sound!”

Their words echoed as the earth over them broken, lava pouring in and killing the ninja, their bodies, the ground, and water all seemed to mix together to form a earthy casing over The entire corridor, further cementing Kabuto’s retreat. The barrier before them seemed like it wa still dripping with water and lava, with an arm sticking out and a leg. It was a brutal tactic, but effective.
