Private/Closed Naruto AU: Roleplay

Tomiko and Madoka watched with fearful expressions. The battle between Yasu and Zaku had turned quite brutal and Yasu had taken quite the punishment. His hand even having had a hole blown through it.

Tomiko herself had taken it even worse, as she realized that in part Yasu had pushed himself so far for her sake. Out of some needed to keep to their promise as he fought for her just as much as himself. And that thought terrified her more than anything as she realized how Yasu acted mirrored herself during her battle with Kiro.

Is...is this what I was like? He's killing himself out there. W-what...what am I doing to him? What was I doing to myself?

Tears had reached her eyes when she saw Yasu begin to fall, as in spite of her own pain she stood up and let out a cry of pure pain and concern.

"YASU!"

Azumi grunted as she felt the force of the sudden kick before Taiyo grabbed the tip of her umbrella before she had been tossed by Taiyo. Azumi had to admit she was far from prepared for this bold assault though quickly twisted her body in the air as she landed with a bit of force on the ground. It had been far from a pleasant landing, but she had not been ready to allow something like this to deny her destiny.

With a series of hand signs, Azumi soon generated what appeared to be some sort of water whip. Azumi sent said whip forward as she had the idea to wrap it around Taiyo's waist and arms. If it worked, she would have Taiyo bounded momentarily which would have opened the door for her to pull the whip back and bring Taiyo close for a combo technique she had practiced many times before. And if it worked, Taiyo was gonna have a brutal run in with her umbrella once more...

Taiyo squirmed as the water whip ensnared him, sadly to avail. He saw Azumi's Umbrella, she sure liked fighting with it, and it was getting on his nerves. So naturally, since the whip ensnared only his upper body, his legs were free to run. His plan was to land a roundhouse kick at his opponent's face, following up by burning the umbrella, it seemed risky, but the tool originally invented to protect from rain was really getting on his last nerve.

Tsuki was curious as she noticed Taiyo running, which seemed odd to her as she got the impression that he was a hand to hand combat specialist. What is he doing, trying to headbutt her?

Zaku’s coughed several times, his yellow shirt turning the same color as the writing on it: red. It seems like his precise airwaves tactic to nullify the attack had failed, but had succeeded in doing damage to his opponet. As far as Zaku went...his skin on his entire lower chest seemed scraped off, blood everywhere. His side seemed to have even more damage, a piece of meat missing from the very point of the impact. The only thing that had seemed to stop the attaxk from continuing through was a peice of metal, seemingly firmly attached to other innards of Zaku’s body. He fell to his knees, grasping at the wound, trying not to bleed out.

“Ack! Grh...my body...you...you!!”

Zaku’s Chakra was severely depleted, not enough to do another precise airwave attack on the boy in retaliation. Instead, he ripped off a portion of the boy’s cloak, trying to put a bandage over the now exposed wound he had. He turned to his belly was facing the top, trying to stop as much blood flow out as possible. Zaku’s fists tightened at what Yasu had done to him. He couldn’t believe the damage he had caused, given how bad Yasu had lost in the forest of death.

“I...I....I win don’t i? Right?!?” Zaku yelled out. “Give in, or...you’ll Die!”

Zaku aimed his arm at Yasu, not entirely sure if he could give off a shot correctly. At this point, his curse mark started to twitch on his neck, growing by a centimeter or two.

As Azumi began to pull Taiyo to her, she noticed that Taiyo seemed to prepare a kick at her. If Azumi had to guess, it was likely that he aimed to kick the umbrella from her hand to disarm her. Azumi had to credit Taiyo for the quick thinking as most who got caught had nor the time nor the wherewithal to try a counter blow.

Though credit did not equate to permission. As Azumi had not been one to allow her opponent to do as they pleased. So Azumi altered her path. Rather than pull Taiyo towards her, instead with all her might she aimed to pull Taiyo towards the rocks to the side as her new intent had been clear; to slam her opponent into the rocks. It had been a sudden shift, but Azumi aimed to use Taiyo's running moment against him as a compliment to her pulling strength as she hoped to batter her opponent against the terrain itself.

Yasu looked up, Zaku was standing over him with blood dripping off his clothes and his body. The pool of blood grew bigger and bigger on the ground, it was impossible to tell was Yasu's and how much was Zakus'

"I-I told you before..." Yasu coughed up the last words, along with some blood. "I won't give up."

Yasu crawled forward, towards Zaku and his arm.

"Come on rat, if you're gonna kill me then do it! Don't tell me, could it be... you're even weaker than I am?"

“You...you....!”

Zaku watched as Yasu put himself right toward the hand, practically begging him to finish him off. If he obeyed, it would be like bowing to his wishes. If he didn’t, he’d most likely lose for not continuing his assault.

Zaku didn’t know if he could have any power to use his implants again. It was a 50/50 gamble, but even then, he wanted to make things personal. His hand, which had obtained no wounds compared to his lower body reeled back before attempting a punch on Yasu.

Yasu spat blood as Zaku delivered a blow to his face, the feeling of his consciousness fading was almost welcome at this point. He looked up at Zaku again.

"Hah, I knew you were weak like me."

He set his head down on the icy, blood stained ground.

Weak huh? Guess I really am... Sorry Tomiko.

And that was it, Yasu's vision went black, and his few still moving limbs went slack.

The tiny Amount the curse mark had grew Recceded. Zaku’s first instinct was to curse at his enemy’s laughter, but after a few seconds reality set in. He had won. Zaku then broke out into his own stunted laughter, mixed in with winces of his own pain. He put his shoe on Yasu’s stomach and wobbled back to his feet.

“Who’s the rat now...huh?!”

After that, the platform started to slowly recceed down back to where it had come from, the loading dock. Zaku’s numb grin looked into the crowd, noticing a familiar person watching him yet again. This person had a garb he hadn’t seen before, but had an outfit similar to the hokage, draped in white with green markings of the sound on it. Supposedly the sound Kage. The sound kage’s eyes looked directly at zaku’s As he descended down.

“Your here...? Lord Oro-“

Before he could finish his sentence, he was taken in by medical nin to get immediate treatment for his wounds, he assumed a similar fate would say Yasu as well. Looks like I’m not the rat after all, eh?

"Ya know, you not as smart as I first thought." Katsuo spoke up quietly, flicking his finger and causing the Windmill Shuriken switch trajectory and slam into the earth just a small distance below it, carrying the kunoichi attached to it just a brief moment later.
"She grabbed my weapon whilst in mid-air, I couldve just launched her as far away from the field as possible, why be so reckless? Is she mocking me?" Katsuo had several questions arise at once, all sending a wave of mixed emotions coursing through him, the most prominent being agitation.
Without hesitation, Katsuo weaved a combination of discrete hand signs then proceeded to jump on the downed Sagiso and attempt a flurry of attacks while the girl was open, if she was ever vulnerable, it would be now.

Crap, she's gonna slam me into a wall. That is, if I let her, Taiyo though smirking, since the kick was not happening, so maybe he needed to change course. The new plan was simple, get enough traction on the ground to resist Azumi's pulling and then start running in circles to tie her up, simple, yet effective.

'Tsk, he'd reacted fast enough' As soon as the Windmill shuriken showed signs of being controlled Sagiō flushed it with her chakra, guiding her own chakra threads to disrupt the chakra patterns controlling the jutsū. Naturally, the shuriken lost its form and collapsed sending Sagisō rolling across the ground. Even with the flurry of motion and shifting point of views, Sagisō could still see everything clearly, her 359-degree vision ensured that catching her off-guard was nigh impossible. So when Katsuo dived down on her from above, he was met with a powerful gust of air, in fact, a series gusts. A repeated switch between the 'Wind-style: Gale Palm' and 'Gentle-Fist Art: Vacuum Palm', the duo of jutsū used to blow her opponent skyward. Since he'd deemed it wise to jump into the air against a Wind-natured shinobi she'd ensure the only thing that touched the ground again would be his battered body or a corpse.

Katsuo's body exploded into a puff of smoke, revealing the hand signs he'd cast earlier were for some backup clone security.
"Jeez, no matter the ninja, everyone ALWAYS falls for the water clone." The boy told himself a bit over confidently, awaiting Sagiso to pull herself up before charging forward at top speed once again, the distance between them closing without a moments notice. He launched his fist forward at blinding speeds, his target being dead center between Sagiso's eyes, but at the last possible second, he opened his fist, revealing a small red orb, and at the exact same moment, he closed his eyes.
"Pepper bomb!" He voiced internally with a 'checkmate' style tone to his words, the small red orb exploding into a large cloud of deep crimson smoke enveloping the two instantly.

Last edited:
It was funny how some people thought that by taking away a Hyūga's vision they'd somehow be rendered helpless. Although she'd seen the pepper bomb within her opponent's hand through her byakugan, she hadn't really been in a position to dodge, nor did she want to. She ignored the pepper bomb entirely, striking out with speed far faster than anything she'd displayed thus far, a ruthless chakra palm directed at her opponent's chest. Tit for tat, it would be payback for that kick she'd received earlier, and she didn't mind briefly trading her vision for such a strike. As the pepper bombs scattered sending searing pain into her eyes, she made a slight 'click' with tongue, a minute burst of wind chakra scattering in a radius of 5m. She'd created a miniature 'domain' or wind which allowed her to sense her immediate surroundings with surprising accuracy. Her assault continued, aiming dead-on for Katsuo's chest.

The moment the bomb exploded Katsuo spun on his heal, grabbing the now blinded Sagiso's wrist as he did so, using his forward momentum to almost orbit around the girl, ending up behind her. A sudden burst of chakra from his opponent caused the smoke to disperse, giving Katsuo a clear view of his target as he finished his rotation, pivoting his hips as he launched the girl to his left with just about all the force he could currently muster, knowing well enough it would be far enough to exceed the boundary of the chakra he could sense.
The young nin charged forward, catching up to the girl with his superhuman-like speed, intending to deliver a combination attack while the girl was still soaring.
"Its really easy to be underestimated when you dont have a special enhancement or strange bloodline trait, makes people overlook you, expect you to be nothing! Well im not nothing!"

'As if I'd allow you to do as you please', the moment Katsuo had grabbed her wrist, she responded likewise twisting in his grasp and latching onto his arm. As a result, when she was thrown she hadn't gone far, in fact, she'd gone nowhere. Although she'd been lifted off the ground, she was still anchored to Katsuo. Instead of going flying, she'd taken advantage of her opponents toss to swing her body around, using the spin to fuel a knee-kick into his head. Since she'd excepted him to dodge that, she'd naturally prepared a follow-up technique, her free arm forming into a knife-hand strike which she brought down towards Katsuo's arm which she still had in her grasp.

"As if id need your permission." He retorted, then with overwhelming strength, Katsuo contorted his bound limb and got a vice like grip on Sagiso's shirt collar, disrupting the flow of her strike and offsetting her knee kick, causing it to graze the back of Katsuo's neck rather roughly, forcing his head to turn the left quickly, he was now locking eyes with Sagiso.
"Hm, tough fabric, made for taking damage." He said rather nonchalantly, tugging on Sagiso's shirt material too test its strength before quickly and ruthlessly attempting to repeated slam her into the ground beneath them, his years of rigorous body training being put to the test with every slam.

Sagisō frowned, feeling her knee graze past her opponent but failing to land a solid strike. A smirk smearing itself across her lips as she felt a hand the edge of her Yukata, she felt weightless for a brief moment before the all too familiar sensation of being thrown assaulted her body. Her hand, now free, flew behind her head with her palms facing towards the ground. Sagisō's leg, which had grazed past Katsuo's neck, twisted at the joint between her thigh and pelvis, the inside of her knee clenching in a leg-lock around Katsuo's neck. Her other leg swiftly accompanied it hooking around his torso so she had a firm 'grip'. When she was slammed into the ground her hands absorbed the blow and her muscles from her waist down contracted. Her arms rebounded and while in her 'hand-stand' position she pulled her legs forward and utilized the rebound to attempt to counter slam her opponent, quite literally his head over her heels.

Azumi frowned as she saw what Taiyo attempted to do. She had to admit he had more force than she expected as he resisted her pull. Azumi prided herself on her physical strength relative to her peers but it seemed Taiyo had velocity and momentum on his side. So a change in tactics had been needed.

So Azumi dissolved her water whip before she formed a series of hand signs. Soon water from her canteens as well as that produce purely of her own chakra floated in the air and formed dozens of small water spheres floated around her for a moment.

And for a moment only, as they soon shot forward at Taiyo as these "bubble bullets" flung at Taiyo at rapid speeds as the intent seemed rather clear for Azumi; to pelt Taiyo with a relentless assault, though that had only been part of her plan. Though what that plan had been remained to be seen...

----------
Tomiko had been frantic as she got up and began to make her way down from the crowd. Madoka had been quick to follow. One way or another Tomiko had been determined to get to Yasu as both she and Madoka had been concerned with his physical condition to have said the very least.

The medical-nin were quick to arrive on the battlefield and retrieve Yasu. They knew better than anyone how extreme his injuries were. After getting him into a stretcher, they raced to the medical room and prepared their best medical ninjutsu.

Yasu regained consciousness only to see two men and a woman treating the wounds on his chest and his left arm. He could tell that arm wouldn't be the same after this. With the injury to his shoulder, and holes in his bicep, wrist, and palm...

I'm so useless.

Those were the last words he could remember before he lost consciousness again.

Katsuo kept calm as his breathing was restricted, thinking quickly, he weaved hand signs as his body was carried through the air, only for a loud PUFF to occur as his body hit the ground, quickly revealing he had transformed into a log covered in short fused explosive tags, the best part, Sagiso was tightly wrapped around it.
"Last of my substitution jutsu....but it was worth it." Katsuo stared on, rubbing the sore spot on the back of his head, not giving much of a reaction to the gigantic explosion that occurred in front of him mere milliseconds later.
"And the bomber strikes again." He said quietly, weaving a few hand signs in preparation for the next assault.

Zaku, who hadn’t lost consciousness was being treated by a single medical nin suprisingingly well. The green aura from the medical ninja was working wonder on his wounds, cauterizing the wounds already in place, and trying his best to heal the sword puncture wound. Zaku looked up to the masked medical nin, who looked right back.

“You took more of a beating than expected.” The medical nin said in a familiar voice “What’s the matter? Tougher than you thought?”

“Eh? Kabuto Sensei?” Zaku said in surprise, wincing as Kabuto took out the blade tip Zaku had left in the wound. “Ack! I’m still standing aren’t I?”

“I’m surprised you didn’t need to use the earth seal, that counts for something I suppose. The plan is on schedule, maintain with the plan, ok?”

Taiyo got stoned repeatedly by the bubble bullets. Which only fueled his anger, he took out his true Swiss army knife, since the first one was lost in the fight with Lako and sliced through the water attacks. With his hands now free, he could perform Jutsu again, so he created clones and they all performed a Jutsu in unison.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" They all simultaneously fired great balls of Fire, although this came at a cost of Taiyo losing some Chakra.

Kiro thought he had won when all of a sudden, all of the lightning went out. “What the hell?” Kiro questioned as he had not been able to see through the smokescreen yet. ‘How did she cancel my attack?’ Kiro took a moment to think. He laid give her credit for figuring out a way to do so though. Hashima wasn’t one to be underestimated and Kiro was about to witness why first hand.

Kiro’s eyes widened when he heard Hashima’s voice shout out a jutsu. As soon as the smoke cleared, Kiro saw the mud appear before him. The last thing anyone would see Kiro do before the attack struck was his eyes suddenly change color, with two spiraling tomoe forming.

A loud crunching sound was heard as the hardened mud closed around Kiro. It sounded brutal, like something had been crushed. And that was before the explosion tags hit, causing a huge explosion in the area. Some of the members of the crowd who were watching their specific battle became silent, causing others to look on as well. The common consensus was that Hashima had just murdered Kiro.

Sagisō sighed, feeling the change in shape of the object she'd just tossed, and then hearing the faint sizzling of the paper bombs. 'Can't say I wasn't expecting it...' Even though she knew her opponent would use a tactic like this- having watched him use it once before- the position she was in meant that even if she could react, she wouldn't be able to escape the blast radius. She clicked her tongue once more in annoyance as she was forced to follow up on her opponent's moves and utilize the substitution jutsu. When the explosion was set off a pair of very charred logs were left in the small creator it'd created while Sagisō herself was sent rolling across the ground. 'What an annoying fellow...'

While rolling, she took the opportunity to drop a smoke bomb, and weave a quick set of hand signs. Moments later her body exited the radius of the smoke bomb, rolling for a short while more before her momentum came to an end.

All the traps went off, and there was smoke because of the bombs, but Hashima quickly used wind style to get rid of it. She looked where Kiro supposedly was, but felt something was off. Then she noticed, there was no blood. She quickly summoned three mud clones and then did some hand seals.

"Mud Style: Protective Mud Dome!"

The ninjutsu made a dome out of mud to surround her, while the three clones kept watch. Hashima tried to regain chakra, as she just lost nearly half of it. The clones were secretly placing mud traps around the dome.

Azumi frowned when she saw Taiyo's response, as she quickly flashed together some hand signs and prepared a response as a large wall of water formed in front to her to have acted as a berrier. Naturally, the size of the fireballs combined with the sheer number of them meant this wall would not have blocked it for long. Though it had given her enough time to jump high in the air and away from the fireballs.

However, the explosion that followed as the fireballs turned the water wall into mist sent a shockwave that had knocked Azumi back and sent her tumbling along the rocky floor before she slammed into the wall of the rocky terrain. An unexpected side effect, as it seemed Azumi underestimated the force of the attack, but she had not been prepared to let this miscalculation as she stood back up and faced Taiyo with a serious if not ice-cold glare.

"You are stronger than others have perceived you as. Even with that headband you wear, I can admit that much." Azumi said, as her bit of praise had been quickly followed by a series of hand signs before some water formed around Taiyo. It seemed that it was forming a giant hand, just big enough to be able to secure Taiyo as Azumi's new intent had been clear; to grasp Taiyo and bind him in place as she aimed to cease his movements all together. And the water formed quickly with the intent to make that happen as the hand began to close in around Taiyo.

Azumi had also thrown a few kunai as a means to deal with the clones. They had a habit of being tricky but also frail which she aimed to exploit.

-----------
Tomiko, even with her own injuries, had been quick to follow Yasu though thankfully Madoka had kept her from jumping onto the field. Something that would have been a huge risk given the other battles that were still on even with their separate zones. Tomiko struggled in Madoka's grip.

"Let me go! I have to get to Yasu!" Tomiko urged before Madoka pulled the damaged Iwa-nin close to her.

"And we will, they have likely taken him to a medical room or even the hospital. We just have to go there, jumping into the arena is not gonna help anyone. Now come on." Madoka urged as Tomiko had let out a sigh of defeat before she followed the Suna-nin as they aimed to get out of the spectators area to go to Yasu.

Kiro took deep and heavy breaths as he looked down at Hashima while stood on a tree branch. He could hear sighs of relief as some of the crowd had noticed where he was while other seemed to notice Kiro’s sharingan. However, all Kiro cared about was the fact that Hashima had just tried to kill him. Even though Kiro had substituted, he still wasn’t able to escape all the damage from the explosion. He had some minor burns as well as some cuts to show for his escape. Kiro would make sure Hashima paid for that.

As Hashima formed her mud dome, Kiro could tell that the Iron Maiden had to have taken up most of her chakra as he watched with his sharingan. There was no other reason for Hashima to protect herself unless she was trying to regain her strength. However, Kiro still had a lot of chakra left as he hadn’t yet used any costly techniques. Kiro smirked when Hashima even summoned the three mud clones to protect the dome. He wondered how much extra that cost. No matter, they could be dealt with easily. The only problem was getting Hashima out of that barrier. Drawing up a quick plan is his mind, Kiro began to form handsigns. ‘Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Technique.’ Due to the chakra a shadow clone took, Kiro only formed one to preserve his chakra. He always wondered what was the maximum limit of shadow clones someone can form. Maybe it was three or four, but Kiro would never expect someone to be able to spawn even more. They were similar to shadow clones except the main difference was that they turned into electricity once they were hit, shocking whatever it was touching. With his plan already with the clone, Kiro nodded before they made their move.

Without any warning, Kiro swiftly landed on top of the dome while he was forming handsigns. The clones weren’t supposed to expect an attack from above of all places as they were too busy placing traps around the dome. Placing a hand on the top of the dome, Kiro performed the jutsu. “Fire Release: Exploding Flame Formation!” Multiple explosive tags began to form from the ground as they started to swim up the sides of the dome, ignoring whatever traps the clones had placed. Even if they did set off a trap, the only thing that would happen would’ve been a large explosion. And that’s exactly what happened when Kiro jumped away before activating the technique. The last thing the crowd saw was a large explosion, consuming the dome as well as the clones.

Kiro just kept his sharingan open and focused as he waited for Hashima to make her appearance...

"Well, you're the first opponent I've decided to take seriously, so of course I'd pull out all of the stops," Taiyo told Azumi sheepishly, panting, he then sighed, as if he was disappointed.
"Time to end this," Taiyo told Azumi, a dark glare in his eyes. He cast several Jutsu signs in succession, leaving the crowd confused. He managed to dodge the water hand by moving backwards and all of his clones disappeared due to the kunai coming for them.

Tsuki jotted down these notes and looked at Taiyo curiously. What is he doing? Those symbols for any Jutsu I know.

Azumi frowned as Taiyo avoided the water hand and seemed to prepare a series of hand signs. Seemed that Taiyo had something in mind, well Azumi would decide to play it safe for now and prepared a defense of her own.

Azumi flashed a series of hand signs, which for her had been rather new as well, though nothing that seemed too jarring as water began to slither around her while she prepared whatever technique it was while she waited for the technique from Taiyo that was to come.

Whatever comes might be too risky to try and stop. I can only hope my defenses prove to be enough for what is to come...

Taiyo seemed confident, but also exaushted, his chakra had been drained from the numerous fireballs he fired, he must have overestimated his chakra reserve. Fortunately, he wouldn't need the extra chars, his Jutsu signs were done and now, all that was left to do was to day the name.
"Fire Release: Flashing Burst Style!" Taiyo cried out, causing confused looks from the crowd. A yellow firey aura began to surround him, an after image of him doing the Jutsu signs appearing, however, the after image pointed out that Taiyo made a mistake and thusly, a large firey explosion erupted from Taiyo. The explosion travelled fast, spreading in a matter of 20 seconds, with the intention that Azumi would be caught in the fire. However, the fire stopped at the audience, so no bystanders were killed. This was how Taiyo wanted to finish the battle, with a bang.

Tsuki's eyes were glowing and not from the heat, this kid, he invented a new Jutsu, she must acquire this knowledge at once, even if it failed.

Azumi's eyes widened. Within that twenty second period, time seemed to slow down while the fires of the explosion spread all around her. Thankfully she had prepared her defense measure before the jutsu had gone off, otherwise the shock of the attack might have delayed her.

Said defense was the water around Azumi, which had began to....twist and alter as it mixed with her shadow. If Azumi survived this she would have to thank kami itself for the encounter with Takato who happened to be watching from the crowd, as the liquid shadow began to take shape. Using every last drop of water in her canteens along with as much water as she could have generated within a ten second window she was soon coated in what appeared to be a giant multi-layered liquid-sphere which had been the possibly the strongest defensive jutsu that Azumi developed during the two week training period. If this attack had been a normal one, the liquid shadow would have endured it easily enough. A price to pay for the chakra it consumed.

But this attack had been far from normal. Soon enough the liquid shadow sphere along with everything in the rocky terrain had been consumed by the blast. The rocky field had been reduced to ashes within moments as the liquid shadow sphere likewise had been battered by the flames and sheer force of the explosion. It held out as long as it could, but something had to give and soon enough a bright flash filled the arena as soon enough all that seemingly had been left was ashes, some and bites of debris all around the arena.

And one figure, Azumi, who had been revealed to still be alive. Though given the scorch marks along with the bleeding on her body to say the attack had left its mark would have undersold it. The liquid shadow sphere had migated the damage, which was shown enough by the fact that Azumi had not been reduced to ashes herself, but her body from head to toe had been seething in pure pain. Azumi herself had been in a current state of semi-conscious before she managed to shake the cobwebs out of her head as she gazed on the field around here. The newfound wasteland reminded her much of old memories of her homeland.

Too much, of old homeland. Azumi grit her teeth in anger and frustration both in this situation and herself.

D-damn it. Get up, don't be weak. You've come too far to falter here. Now stand!

Slowly, Azumi managed to find strength in her body as she gradually made her way back to her feet. Not with the usual swiftness and grace that the Ame-nin had displayed throughout these exams, but she made it to her feet as she took a moment to catch her breath before she gazed ahead of her.

There's no way he would kill himself under these circumstances. He is alive, and might be ready to strike soon.

Azumi had taken a moment to feel the umbrella on her backpack, which had also taken some damage but due to the liquid shadow sphere along with Azumi's own body, remained mostly in tack...mostly. Azumi also took a moment to process her body's condition along with chakra level.

Low on chakra, but not out. Body battered, but not broken. Weapon damaged, but not lost. I can still do this, I need to suck it up and push forward. I will not be denied, I will not fail...not in this vile nation...

So Azumi, with as much strength as she had, assumed a defensive position as she waited to see where Taiyo had been.

“Seems like you are the first genin to actually make it through this stage of the exam, interesting.” Kabuto said, adjusting his glasses.

“Heh, would Lord-“

Kabuto sushed him,m before he could utter his name, as other medical nin were in the same room, tending to Yasu’s seeming fatal wounds. Tomiko’s cries were heard close by as well.

“Would...’He’ be pleased at that?”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself. What he thinks is none of your concern, for now. You should be focusing at the task at hand...”

Kabuto looked over to Yasu’s battered state, then back to Zaku, arching an eyebrow as he continued to heal the sound ninja.

“I see the new setting is effective, consider this a good test run. I don’t think he’ll be able to recover from that. Well done.”

“Heh, no one can recover from me.” Zaku boasted. “I’m a disaster, to cross me would be to cross the forces of nature themselves!”

At this, Kabuto tugged in a bandage he had over Zaku’s puncture wound, which he winced at, groaning in pain. Kabuto smirked.

“Alright then Forces of nature, try not to break some bones next time.”

Taiyo was still standing, but not before a flood of blood came out of him, via coughing. His remaining chakra was depleted, rendering him unable to to perform further jutsus save from Taijutsu.
"Guess I went too far this time," Taiyo told himself, lacking feeling in his arms or legs, he trudged to Azumi, attempting to fight, despite him being in no condition to fight, the shock of the blast breaking both of his arms.

Azumi frowned, in spite of everything Taiyo was still standing. While she had endured damage from the blast, it appeared that Taiyo had suffered a nasty kickback to the blast. Seemed the technique had its consequences, which was natural given the more powerful the technique the greater the risk it came with as far as she had been taught.

His resolve is admirable. Even if he is a Konoha-nin...he is worthy of respect. But I won't allow a feel-good story to deny me my path to ascension.

With that, Azumi grabbed her umbrella. The weight of it, which had normally been a non-issue, caused her to pause as the weight did have a momentary effect on her sore muscles. Still Azumi grit her teeth as she pressed forward. Azumi had respect for Taiyo, so she aimed to fight on as a show of admiration for his resolve.

Azumi moved quickly, or rather as quickly as her sore legs could carry her, as she moved to the side and aimed to deliver a strike to his left side and swung with full velocity. Azumi had to conserve what chakra she had needed to rely on her kenjutsu.

Taiyo groaned in pain as he was smacked in the sides by Azumi's umbrella. Despite this, he gritted his teeth and aimed a punch straight for her face, hoping to knock her off balance, his hand was broken, but he managed to make a fist to punch.

Tsuki was wrote down notes like crazy, she wanted to get to know Taiyo so she could learn the ins and outs of his technique, she loved information, more than she hated conflict, which is a lot.

Azumi glared as she saw Taiyo make an attempt to try and strike him with his broken hand. Which was either the most bold tactic she had seen or the most foolish. Probably both, but that had not mattered as even with her own sore muscles Azumi managed to get her umbrella up to block the punch from the broken arm.

Azumi further aimed to add onto this as she lifted her leg and tried to deliver a kick to Taiyo's gut as she blocked his attempt at a counter blow.

Yasu awoke again, this time there was nobody treating his wounds. He assumed they had finished, and his assumption was confirmed when he saw his chest and entire left arm covered in bandages. There were also bandages on his right leg and some on his right arm, but not nearly as many.

A voice rang out from the corner of the room. "Oh, you're awake!"

"Who's there?" Yasu questioned.

A man in a white coat rose from a chair a few feet away from where Yasu was laying.

"Nobody really," Came the reply. "Just happened to be in the room while the medical ninja were working on your wounds. You took a heck of a beating kiddo, we were surprised you hadn't bled to death before we got you here!"

That's when Yasu remembered what had happened.

Oh yeah, I lost to the rat huh? Damn...

The man in the coat waved his hand in front of Yasu's face. "You in there kiddo?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine... Wait! Where's Tomiko?"

The man appeared confused. "Who?"

"Ah, uh... nevermind."

"OUT OF MY WAY!"

"Miss, please you need to request a visit and not just barg..."

"I need to get to Yasu!"

"Calm down Tomiko! I apologize for this he is just a friend of ours and we need to see him."

The voices of two familiar figures to Yasu had been heard, and moments after he had asked about her Tomiko barged into the room. Bandages and casts in all. Madoka followed right behind her as Tomiko gazed at Yasu's figured and naturally had a worried look on her face. Madoka herself shared it, though was thankful he had been awake.

"Yasu, are you okay?" Tomiko asked with some concern as another nurse walked in and had given an apologetic shrug as she was unable to stop Tomiko and Madoka from coming in in the manner they had.

Yasu heard the screaming from the hallway before Tomiko and Madoka had even entered the room.

"Ahh, there she is..."

The man in the cloak gave an understanding nod and exited the room as the girls barged in, with a nurse behind them attempting to stop them none the less.

"I don't know what you're seeing, but try and look at my body and ask me if I'm okay again..."

Taiyo saw the kick and groaned, this was bad, his arms were broken and he was starting to feel pain. However, his legs worked well, and he finally regained feeling in them.
"I can still fight," Taiyo whispered, jumping over Azumi with the leg strength that he had and attempted an aerial kick to her back.
