Amari felt the rushed and incomplete explanation would be good enough, as she was poking into the personal life of a total stranger. He was an interesting character. Amari took an interest purely out of curiosity because of his strange relation with the Konoha Nin. Based on what she had paid attention to before, she knew she wasn't getting the full story as she was quite positive the Uchiha had arrived with the Konoha Nin to the battle where the Kaiju emerged.

With Amari having dug into the personal life of this stranger, she, of course, expected him to do the same with her. "Well, the explanation for that is quite simple. We don't hail from the Land of Wind at all, let alone Suna. They did have something we wanted, however, and so kindly offered to pay us for our services to help them track down a jinchuriki, although this was not quite what we had been expecting from this hunt. It does seem strange that you can't tell where we are from though. You seem to be quite familiar with one of our sisters." As she said this, she gestured over to Sagiso's current position.

Hinagiku

'Tsk...'

Reserving her thoughts on the sequence of events, Hina's first response was to cover the retreating children. As she's said, she had two daughters in there, and be it this Kaiju or the Sage of Six Paths himself, nothing could just breeze right past her to harm them. For a short burst, she unleashed her full speed.

Her weight decreased drastically, and typhoon powered water jets sprung from her legs. She positioned herself in mid-air, right in the path of the scatter shot of spines that threatened the retreating team. "Eight Trigrams: Palm Revolving Heaven!"

She released a blue sphere of chakra, almost 4 meters in radius, whipping up a small tornado as she did so. Perhaps if the beast had aimed, the spines could've overpowered her rotation, but with it's scattered efforts, they came neither strong enough, nor fast enough to severely hinder her.

It seemed his suspicions were correct. The girl beside him wasn’t a Sand ninja. Instead, she seemed to be part of some mercenary group that had been offered a deal to help Suna in retrieving a jinchuriki. Amari also appeared surprised that he hadn’t picked up where she was from. After hearing the mention of ‘sisters’ and seeing her gesture towards Sagisō, Kiro slowly began to connect the dots.

He glanced curiously at Amari, then Sagisō, and finally Amari again before reaching a conclusion.

“Wait. You’re not going to kidnap me, right?”

Those were the first words that came out of his mouth after coming to the sudden realization that she was a kunoichi from Nadeshiko. Why else would she consider Sagisō one of her sisters? Nevertheless, this was his first counter with someone from Nadeshiko not named Sagisō and he was slightly interested to see what the other members were like.

As of right now, Sagisō didn’t seem to be much of an outlier as he could see the resemblance in their looks and attitude. But only time would tell what other similarities there were. That and his focus had been somewhat shifted to Hinagiku. Kiro felt that he had just been given only a glimpse of her full speed. Something which he was grateful for.

Flashback

“Depends. How innocent do you think I am?”

The Uchiha retorted with a counter of his own. It wasn’t a serious question, but more so a playful shot at the girl’s assumption. He knew what Sagisō meant and even agreed to a certain point.

To be fair, it probably wasn’t that difficult for them to attract and seduce a multitude of weak-minded individuals— unless, of course, Sagisō was an anomaly amongst the Nadeshiko with her ‘quality’ features. Even if that were the case, her following remark only solidified nothing was going to stop them from their conquest.

He continued to listen as Sagisō began to tell the story of how she ended up in Nadeshiko. The story was relatable to a certain extent. Having lost both his parents at an early age, Kiro felt he could sympathize with her. Though he wasn’t sure of the conditions she was raised in, it was most likely different than the upbringing she would’ve received had she remained with the Hyūga.

Thinking about it now, she was probably in the same position as him when she first returned to the Leaf. He wondered how she felt about being estranged from her clan for so long. It wasn’t as if he cared about his relationship with the Uchiha, but perhaps listening to the perspective of someone who had gone down a similar path could prove interesting.

Of course, unlike him, she had been welcomed with open arms. The mother-daughter bond between Hinagiku and Sagisō felt so real that one could be led to believe they had been connected for years. All he had received was the cold glare of those bloody red eyes looking down at him in disrespect. He took a breath to get that thought out of his mind before speaking to Sagisō.

“I’m assuming that scarf you wore over your eyes back then was to conceal your byakugan. Hm...”

Pausing for a moment, Kiro subconsciously realized he had questioned her quite a bit already. Was it because he was bored? Interested? Kiro wasn’t sure. But from what he could tell, she didn’t seem to mind. Though he wouldn’t directly admit it, the Uchiha somewhat enjoyed their little conversation for what it was.

“You know Sagisō, if you want me to stop I will. But if you like hearing my voice, that’s cool too. I can listen to you all day if you want to keep going…”

Kiro ran his hand through his hair, again, as he realized he had gone a bit off track. He glanced up for a moment to gather his thoughts before looking over towards the wall. More specifically, towards the girl speaking to him from the other side.

“Anyways, if you don’t mind me asking, what was it like returning to the Hyūga? Did you even care about returning?”

As time passed, Katsuo got bored of maintaining the ripples to propel there craft, and opted in creating a clone to do it instead.
Now that he was free to sit back for the first time in quite awhile, his mind wondered to the family now waiting back on the outskirts of the Stone.
The boy would never show it, but he was desperately awaiting the moment when he got to see the man he’d thought was dead for the last fourteen years once again. As his mind wondered to a peaceful place, his eyelids began to grow heavy, signifying his transition into a state of unconsciousness...

Seventeen Years Ago~

Kido Denki was a young, powerful Chūnin of the Cloud. He was a dedicated shinobi with high hopes of becoming Jonin soon enough. Nothing was gonna stand in this determined Kumo nins way....or so he thought.....

It was like every other day, the Lightning Shinobi was on his way back to Kumo after completing a grueling mission in the woodlands near his home. But unlike a usual day of muscle straining missions and family celebration, there was something very wrong with this journey back, something very wrong indeed.

“Who’s there!?” Kido yelled as he came to a grinding halt, quickly taking in the environment around him with with a piercing stare.

Tac~

The sound of someone, or something’s foot pressing down on a tree to his right was all the Kumo nin needed. In a flash, he’d ripped a Shuriken from his back pouch and sent it soaring towards the branch were the noise had originated from.

Ping~

To his surprise, his Shuriken was parried by a far more powerful Shuriken which had appeared to launch straight through the thick of the brush.
Aggravated, Kido pulled another Shuriken and dove towards the branch his target was residing on. Only this time, his Shuriken was coated in a potent lightning chakra, and his aim was intended for the branch holding this unknown enemy up.
“Come on!” He shouted while sending the projectile launching, simultaneously diving for the same branch as he did so.

SNAP~

The branch was trimmed away just as Kido had landed in the foliage connected to it. He was now free falling with the tree limb, taking multiple shots through the leaves at this tricky target. On the third shot, he’d managed to hit more than air, and he was fairly certain he’d clipped a shoulder.
“Yes, gotcha!” He shouted internally, only for his celebration to be cut short as a leg came through the leaves and straight into his stomach at blistering speeds, sending the skilled Chūnin hurdling backwards along the forest floor.

As he scrambled to his feet, he’d taken note of a small figure who had rolled away from the large branch as it hit the ground. Ready for anything, Kido ripped a kunai from his hip pouch and infused it with chakra, his eyes finally meeting this unknown enemy...

“Who....is she?”

~THUMP~
As the crystal boat hit a large wave, Katsuo’s head had lightly bounced off the back of the craft, shocking him into wake up.

“Sorry, sorry. I’ll stable her out.” Spoke the Katsu-Clone sheepishly from over its shoulder.

The tailed beasts’s sakien cloak had begun to lose it’s Water, all the streams of energy Slowly dwindling into nothing, reforming as simply eight tails covering the cloak. Hama’s Ice barriers steamed in the remnant of the defenses, leaving only two ice walls in front of her. The three tails snarled, Yukimaru snarling with it.

FOOLS! You dare try and stop your god?! The world shall know peace! Love! Fairness to the meek, and death to the unworthy!”

Suddenly, as he said that, a large wave had begun to form in the ocean, approaching fast. As quickly as it formed, it slammed into three tails, the force enough to break the three tails’s grip on the ridges, making it fall down the hole. Hitting the bottom, Yukimaru glared up, only to see the water gushing down to reach him. It began to swamp over him, filling up the large crater. Yukimaru snickered in the depths, the pores of the tailed beast absorbing the water, more and more...until....

It wasn’t.

In a flash, the water had crystallized, turning into thick ice bowl. Atop the ridge the bowl, several figures, all by one dressed in shiny sapphire colored armor, reflecting in the sunlight as well as the ice before them. The man in the center, Jin, dressed in a tight black suit. He stepped one foot onto the ice.

“Valkries...” Jin announces to them, well reminded of his hatred for their village. “You look startled, haven’t you ever seen the Yuki?”

Suddenly, a huge crack appeared in the ice, red chakra following out of it. It had appeared that while Yukimaru remained immobile for now, the cloak worked to pry itself out. The red chakra hissed and crackled in energy, the eight tails fusing all into one large tentacle like appendage. Jin looked up, the armors of the honor guard now reflecting the red of the tailed beast chakra.

“This must be dealt with. Before it can lay a finger on our village. I will not allow the pinnacle of civilization have a hair out of line.”

For I have something far more important to attend to.

Well, the Yuki's timely arrival had come at the perfect moment.

With the beast busy with the Valkyries and the new arrivals Darui's clone raced with Kin in hand, the sooner it could get to Darui to form a seal to cut off whatever link connected the two as a wave in the distance clashed into the giant beast. Though naturally, it was oblivious to Pakura as the invisible cloaked served to cover her presence from him much as it had from the best as Pakura closed in while the clone had to carry Kin around.

With a little spark in hand, Pakura had a grin as she flicked it over the clone and ahead of them.

Darui's clone continued to move, before it caught a trace of what appeared to be some small spark ahead. A moment later, its eyes widened as the spark suddenly shinned bright and a large explosion that seemed to consume them both.

Though the clone had been quick to act, as he jumped up from the smoke with Kin over his shoulder as it quickly realized that the energy of that attack failed to match that of the Biju. Either way Darui's clone had to act quickly and reached for a smoke bomb...

Slash!

Only for it to react a moment too slow, as Pakura had been ready for this and landed a clean slash with the kunai. Within moments the clone poofed out of existence. Darui would get word on what happened when the signal hit him, but by that point it would have been too late as Pakura caught Kin and grinned tucking her under her invisible cloak.

"And now for a little accessory."

Pakura, whose left hand had been prepped with this odd red coating, quickly placed her twin index fingers on Kin's forehead as the aim was simple....to plant and place a little red cross symbol there, one and passed down by those who are responsible for overseeing the current Jinchuriki when it had been in Suna. One that would help to suppress Kin's chakra and mask her trace from anything and anyone...even breaking off her own chakra link to Yukimura. Her plan once she had finished this would be to quickly move out of here as now that Kin was in her hands they needed to bail before all hell broke loose.

Valkyries

Off-island, Aesir stood, accompanied by Darui. Folding his arms casually he watched on while commenting. "What's your take on the situation? Boss should be here any minute but...seems things are getting prickly."

With but a thought, Aesir had transmitted his orders the all the Valkyrie's in the area. The electro-static connection between them had been amplified by the slowly forming thunderstorm. As the conditions for lightning strikes became more prevalent, the ambient charges forming in the clouds and along the earth lent themselves to the Valkyrie's Whisper of Mimir.

Formless and incorporeal at they were, the basic clones paid no heed to the wide-spread attacks of the Kaiju. Spikes passed right through their bodies, completely unobstructed. The plethora of afterimages formed themselves in rank. Matching the Yuki with their sarcasm was Sanngrior, or rather a clone of her, "No...can't say I've seen any. You pale-faced curs all look the same."

Their real bodies had vacated the immediate area, though their locations were no secret. Off in the distance, three pillars of lightning could be seen surging into the clouds. Three soon became six, as the present Valks formed a hexagram around the Kaiju and by extension near the Yuki.

Six pillars of icy blue lightning connected the ground to the skies, half of them turning to an onyx black as the Valkyrie's ramped up their game. The conditions were growing increasingly favorable. Heat and moisture from earlier rose into the skies, and the abrupt chill of icy release was now cooling them, condensing them. Heavy clouds blanketed the island, already rolling with crashes of lightning and crackles of thunder.

Directly to the south of the island, Aesir watched on amusedly. He signaled for the Valkyries to stop galvanizing the storm. By now, it would grow on its own. They would guide it's formation ever so slowly. Between the back and forth between the Yuki and the Kaiju, tons of ice were being vaporized into water to bolster the clouds and form the creation of lightning.

Particularly, Hama's vaporized Ice plates. Around a hundred thousand kilograms of Ice had already been thrown up. In natural lightning clouds, it would take 10 million kilograms of ice interacting to produce a frequency of 1 lightning bolt a minute. Hama had contributed around 1 percent of that. The Valkyries had contributed their own lightning, and the on-going battle was improving conditions as they spoke.

Having been making his way away from the battlefield, Shura suddenly felt multiple surge of chakra appearing near the area Kaiju Yukimaru was. The sudden appearance of high concentration of energy as well as the subtle shift of coldness in the air which extending all the way off the island made one thing clear. “That must be the famed Yuki clan. Well, we are in Kiri so that’s not surprising.” Shura took a glance behind him when and witnessed the giant thunder storm formed by the Valkyries. A storm which grew bigger with each passing moment. “Tch, as if we don’t already have enough reasons to get away from here.” He thought.

As Shura closed in on another island, the Hyūga once again shifted his vision behind him for a brief moment. “Hmm, some people looks to be lagging behind.” Shura let out a sigh before slowing down when he reached the other island. Two Shura clones appeared from each sides of the tree lines. “I’ll leave it to you guys.” He said before picking his pace back up. The two Shura clones ran pass real Shura towards the rest of the Genins.

Hyōryugetsu

Quirking her brow, the Hōzuki took the long way around the corrupted sections of her Mist. She could feel the areas where her chakra went blank, and she directed Tsuki well around Damos' presumed location. When she emerged from the Mist, she immediately noticed the changes in the situation, but knowing it was not her place to meddle, she began to retreat a distance away from the battlefield.

Koki'o

Snickering, the scorpion star gave Madoka her space. With the distance they were gaining, she figured things had died down enough to loosen her nerves a bit...just a bit. She unsummoned her scorpions, giving each of the venomous arachnids a little peck on the carapace. Of course, having dabbled a bit in the Suna nin's conversation Koki'o quickly flitted away to join the one between Kiro and Amari.

"Ohoho~ Kidnap you? You'd first need to beat a Nadeshiko to even be..."

Her voice trailed off, gleaming pupils flickering between Kiro and Sagisō.

"...Oh."

The obvious connection was quickly made, Sagisō was clearly the only source of information on Nadeshiko Kiro could possibly have had.

"In that case, yes, we are here to kidnap you."

Seiun/Tsuki
Go͢ ̢alon̨g͜ ͝w͢it҉h t҉h͝e͟m҉.̶ The ̢bes̶t́ ́wéa͏po͡n̷ ̀tò ha̶v͏e̴ i̵s one̢ t̴h̸át́ ͞the ̷eneḿy̸ d̷o͏e̢s̡n’̀t sus͞pe҉c̀t̸.̵”

Seiun was relieved to hear that B.O.S.E.C was willing to let him ride out his time longer, for if he were to leave now, it would surely cause problems.

"Are you alright now, Seiun?" Tsuki felt obligated to ask her servant the question, due to the fact that the whole reason the missing-nin was pardoned was due to "hallucinations". She also ignored Kai's remark about putting a better leash on her pets, for she knew that she intentionally allowed Seiun to leave in order to recover his mental state.

"Yeah, they seem to have gone away," The rouge blatantly lied to his mistress as he stepped into the mist. While the rogue shinobi was busy ruminating on the basis of a plan for him and his construct partner, Tsuki noticed the red mist that now surrounded them. Fortunately, Hyō was kind enough to direct her around the red mist, with Seiun following behind out of what he dictated to be the most logical solution.

I take it that the "god of despair and fear" guy was the source of that mist huh? Well B.O.S.E.C, I should let you know, I fear no god, and I'll kill one if I feel inclined to do so.

The pair that followed the Hōzuki soon found themselves outside of the mist, where they a saw their former guide making a retreat. Instead of following her more, Tsuki had decided to remain to observe while her servant waited for B.O.S.E.C to provide guidance yet again, something he was eager of making a habit out of.

Yasu

Even before the girl could answer, Yasu spoke up. "Err, it's okay. I'll be fine down here."

Although he'd called ou to Taiyo, he wasn't all that familiar with him yet. The suna ninja didn't really want to jump onto their mount and ride off into the sunset with them. No, he'd rather stick more to Madoka and Lady Pakura. Giving an awkward yet cordial smile, he slipped away from the Konoha shinobi, merging with Madoka's group.

But, just before he did, he called out, "and it's Yasu..."

Furījia

Nodding softly, she gave her answer. K'waule could indeed carry a few more persons without issue. The bird's powerful legs were not to be underestimated, one or two more people wouldn't be an issue. However, nodding was all she did. Her arms remained firmly around K'waule's neck and her face buried in its feathers.

I take it that the "god of despair and fear" guy was the source of that mist huh? Well B.O.S.E.C, I should let you know, I fear no god, and I'll kill one if I feel inclined to do so.

These inner thoughts of Seiun’s, targeted toward B.O.S.E.C was found almost laughable by the construct, it quickly snapped back into a almost condescending tone.

“Not ţhis̕ ̨o͞ne.͝ ͝At͟ le̢as̀t̸ not҉ n̸o̷ẃ.̷ M̡y̸ ͞d̡ea̢r̵ S͝ei͝u҉n, yo͡u͠ ͟wòu͢ļd͠ ͞be mor̛e͡ ̨l͝ikèl̷y ҉t̨o͜ ̕f̷igh͘t the ͠w̴ho̢le Y͞ukí cĺa̸n ͝ag͘ài͝n̢ ̛and͞ ̢win͟.̵ ̀”

It gave another hiss before sticking close to seiun, almost like a spectral hawk that snakes around him, it’s claw like talons gripping his shoulder, going wherever he went.

Kai, making it to the edge of the mist, cradled his wound that Kin had so graciously given him. Propping himself on a nearby tree, he saw hyo emerge from the mist. Yet still no sign of Hama nor enemy activity...unless you’re were to count the red mist, which was its own enigma.

“Tch...if it weren’t for that wretched clawed Xeno, we would be in safety by now. But is Hama? Kiro? With that THING around?”

Rumbling was heard, the kaiju still trying to terraform the land evidently. He couldn’t see clearly due to the mist, even if he had a somewhat immunity to its effects.

......

The large branch of red chakra emerged from the ice containing Yukimaru, the Yuki quick to distance themselves from it, standing upon the ocean. The appendage quickly grew long veins across it like a tree growing its branches. It had appeared that even with Yukimaru frozen, his sheer will kept him fighting. Much could he said for that.

“Distance.” Jin simply stated, looking at the thunderstorm above. “Do not get caught in the crossfire of what they are about to do.”

Hama peeked our from the widenof the ice plate, seeing the frozen area over the jinchurki, and several figures in the distances. A smirk grew over her face.

“Well Kakashi dearist, it was about time. Looks like the ol’ Yuki made it after all. No doubt looking for me and got more than they bargained for~”

Amari was surprised that he decided to ask that when he came to the realization of where she hailed from. She was even more surprised when Koki'o inserted herself into their conversa- actually no she wasn't at all surprised about that, it was pretty on par for her sister's usual behavior. The thing she was most surprised about was when she came to the realization that he was able to defeat her sister. Sagiso was a very capable ninja, as are any Nadeshiko-nin, and Amari only guessed she had gotten stronger since she went to participate in the Chunin Exams. Still, it was quite clear from his reaction that he was able to defeat Sagisō so he must have been a capable shinobi. Although they probably shouldn't do anything about it at the current moment seeing as there was a giant Kaiju that was still currently a threat, although that issue seemed like it was being handled. Of course, she had to have at least a little fun with this, she rarely got any enjoyment out of talking to someone who wasn't her sister. "Now Koki'o, there is no reason to be so blunt, we don't even know the poor boy's name. We should at least learn that before continuing our plan to abduct him."

Valkyries

Squinting, Aesir decided to play a Joker card a bit early. As the thunderstorm settled, the hexagram of lightning bolts increased by two. He himself had now joined in preparing Limelight along with Bryn, Regin, and Waltraute. Eight bolts of lightning seared the sky, four black and four an icy blue.

Hlokk, Hrund, Sanngrior, and Herja formed the blue square of lightning, while Aesir and the others formed the black bolt. The clouds surged angrily, the four blue-bolts of thunder gathering above the location of the Kaiju. Right on cue the clouds screeched their fury, four mammoth Ligers, formed entirely of lightning began to circle the location of Yukimaru.

From their locations on the island, Hlokk, Hrund, Sanngrior, and Herja wove seals in unison. "Lightning Release: Four Corners Liger Bomb Formation!"

This attack was a significantly amped version of the Raikage's Liger Bomb technique except...it was nothing alike. The four Ligers descending from the clouds, descending on the sheet of Ice below with unrelenting fury. In a blinding flash of light, the attack descended upon the Kaiju's location. The icy coffin surrounding the jinchuriki was rent apart.

The intense heat vaporized what it could, and the sheer explosive force of the attack turning what remained into a thousand and one ice cubes. All that was left was a smoldering creator and as for the target of the attack? That remained unknown.

Hinagiku

"A fitting end to a battle between beasts."

Scoffing in distaste, she turned away. After Pakura had seized the girl, Hina no longer paid attention to the battle. She reduced her Byakugan to a range of only a few tens of meters and began a hesitant retreat. She would have left on the spot, however, both Pakura and Kakashi were still lagging behind.

Grumbling to herself, she slowly vanished beneath the distorting heatwaves of a genjutsu.

"Well, you guys managed to get my team to safety. I had possession of this Biju's ally Jinchuriki...but it seems that it was interception before my clone could complete the transfer. This beast seemed drawn to her though is in a rampage at the moment and seems to have some additional power beyond its own though the details of that are to be further examined." Darui explained as he gave his rundown of the situation to the best of his ability.

And the Valkyrie's assessment proved to be correct as indeed the boss Ay and his group advanced further to the cost of the island as the site of the massive Tailed Beast was quite clear to him though who specifically had taken up the fight remained less so. Either way they would advance to the cost quickly as they had to meet up with the Valkyries. And given Ay's expression he was not one to be kept waiting for long...

---------
"Indeed, this party is getting a bit crowded for my taste. Not to mean offense to you Lady Yuki." Kakashi replied, as once the immediate danger that struck them had passed he lowered his barrier that protected them from Yukimura's initial attacks as he noted the presence of not just Kumo Valkyrie but also members of the Yuki clan of Kiri.

Naturally, Kakashi's desire to stall for time lessened when it appeared others had stepped up to the plate as various high level ninja began to team up on the monster. And given the Hama had quite the help on hand and this no longer seemed to concern the Leaf Kakashi was tempted to give her the starring role here.

Especially given that Pakura seemed to be doing just okay, as the cloaked Jonin had Kin in her care and made her way back over to the other Jonin. Her aim was simple, get back with them, then they get back to their Genin and then they can get out of these islands.

----------
"GAH!" Madoka cried out in pain as she held her hand out after Kou's rat had bitten it. The second she would see Tomiko again, if she saw her again, she would be certain to give her a piece of her mind over this situation she guilt-tripped her into.

"I was only trying to help us move faster...." Madoka muttered as Sakura walked up and let out a sigh.

"Kou, you can't just let your...friend, bite people. I-I know what you must think but for now we should focus on trying to gain distance rather than worry over stuff like this. Besides I'm here if anyone tries anything." Sakura assured Kou, and while she seemed level headed and avoided any more direct reaction to the bite speaking to him on the inside...

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

The Uchiha supposed he shouldn’t have been that surprised by how casually the two admitted they were there to kidnap him. Sagisō has warned him after all. He considered straight up attacking but that could be insubordination if his attack came first. But if they were serious about kidnapping him, he wasn’t just going to roll over either.

“Well, if you both want me, then I don’t mind taking you two on. Probably somewhere more secure though.”

Kiro spoke in a calm, casual tone as he referred to the Kaiju still in the distance as well as the group around them. The Uchiha didn’t know about Sagisō, but he was certain the others wouldn’t just stand idly by as a kidnapping was being attempted. Then again, the Nadeshiko were described to him as being a shameless bunch...

With that said, Kiro figured he might as well tell the two his name. Especially since Amari was generous enough to learn the name of their victim first.

“Anyways, the name is Kiro. What about your names?”

Koki'o

"35th Crying Star, Twin-tailed Scorpion, Xie Rouchan."

Introducing herself with her star title and name, she gave threw a wink at Kiro. "Hope you can really back up those words."

However, she agreed with the boy's words. It was about time they departed. She moved up closer to Pakura's clone, "We won't follow you back to the Sand, but rest assured, someone will come to collect out...payment."

With that done, the Crying Star continued on, fully intent on following the team well beyond the boundaries of the battlefield.

Sagisō

Scanning ahead with the Byakugan, Sagsiō noticed an island some 10 kilometers away. She signaled back to the group, trying to get them to detour toward the island where they could take a small break. She advanced while keeping a careful watch on the surroundings, but so far, all was clear.

"Hey, watch it!" Mori snapped at the Katsu-clone, irritated and frightened by the sudden bump. He sighed and closed his eyes, counting to fifteen internally. Remember, what did dad and I use to sing when we both were happy? Mori tried to remember their little song, a melody resonating inside of him as a small smile crept upon his terrified face.

Ninja of the Stone rejoice!

Cheer, cheer, cheer with me!

Raise your fist and raise your voice!

Sing, sing, sing with me!

Up and up to the moutain top

Watch your step and you won’t drop!

Shuriken, senbon, kunai and more

Found inside the mountain store!

Using the ground

Suckled from a teat of stone

Working in the dark

Fighting for our mountain home

Swords made of iron

Steel in our nerves

To dig and fight makes us free

Come on Iwa sing with me!

I am a mole and I'm digging a hole

Setting some traps

Preparing to strike!

I am a mole and I'm digging a hole

Setting some traps

Preparing to strike!

Others won’t go so low

Deep, deep in the ground

We inflict the fear others know

For Iwa our foes we downed

Get a sword and fight as a beast!

Stuff your bellies at the feast!

Stumble home and fall asleep

Dreaming in our mountain keep

Raised in the north

Grown inside a rocky womb

The earth is our cradle

The mountains shall become our tomb

Face us on the battlefield

You will meet your doom

We do not fear what lies beneath

We can never dig too deep!

Using the ground

Suckled from a teat of stone

Working in the dark

Fighting for our mountain home

Swords made of iron

Steel in our nerves

To dig and fight makes us free

Come on Iwa sing with me!

I am a mole and I'm digging a hole

Setting some traps

Preparing to strike!

I am a mole and I'm digging a hole

Setting some traps

Preparing to strike!

The song was a bit dark when he looked back on it, but it was composed back when he looked up to his father and wanted nothing else to be a splendid ninja just like him. That was about a year ago, but it seemed way longer ago. Back when they had dinner together almost every night, his parents made sure to that atleast one of them stayed at home to make sure he would go to the academy. He couldn't help but crack a grin at the memory. When he would return home and if his parents were there, he'd love to catch up with them. After all, they were still his family, even if they didn't always show how much they loved him.

"Umm. Kenji, Aisha? Could you two lend me your ears for a moment?" Taji asked, something was on her mind and she wanted to tell it to her allies. "I....want to apologise for my behaviour on the mission. I probably wasn't the kindest teammate, and I didn't really add anything to the team. Yet you two still dealt with me, and you never complained even once. You treated me like an equal, even when I acted like I was better than you. I'm sorry, I will treat you better. I promise!" She bowed, hoping that her apologies were accepted.

Sakura’s words comforted Kou, even if he still felt somewhat unease over madoka’s Sudden grab for him.

“Okay...” Kou spoke with hesitation. “I trust you.”

The rat on his hand gave a last glare to the puppet master, licking its teeth before scattering into Kou’s pocket. But was even more uneasy was the fact of a new power coming to the scene: The Yuki clan. Not knowing if the tidal wave wielding ninjas were friend or foe, Kou elected to just turn his head from them, pretending they weren’t there, and instead focused on the path ahead...to wherever they were going.

.........

As the lighting from the valkries tore through the sky, the ice catacomb that held Yukimaru set up a perfect trap, holding him still. The large branch tried to soften the blow, but got split right down the middle by the electric arrowhead that bore through it, like an axe to a tree. Cleaved in two, the lighting then struck the holding crater where Yukimaru was, everything going silent before....

*BOOOOM!*

The explosion was fierce, shattering all of the ice that contained it neigh instantly. The tailed beast appeared to be utterly bathed in the lightning. The crater soon became more of a bomb site, nothing remaining from it’s previous shape. The earth boomer and the sky quaked at the fierocity of the attack, surely nothing would survive.

The Yuki, who watched on from the ocean, stood motionless and unblinking. They were unimpressed by the display, but were just satisfied that it had occurred at all rather than sheepishly wait in the sky.

Hama had to use the rest of her ice barrier’s to protect herself as to not be fried by the attack, even though she was in the outskirts of the fight. It appeared the valkries really wanted the beast dead, or at least, close to it. The last barrier cracked and shattered, revealing herself to the aftermath.

Debris floated in the air and dust blew across the battleground. What was once a lush forest teaming with greenery was now a wasteland covered in ash.

What of the jinchurki?

Red particles floated through the air with the dust and smoke. Not sparks...nor blood...but somewhere in between. An unknown matter of red similar to the chakra of a Tulare beast floated like cinders. As more smoke cleared. The black charred shell of the three tails became visible, no saiken cloak to be found. It was laying down on it’s side. Yukimaru, atop it, plumes of red coming from him. He struggled, clawing at the ground, his three tails body failing him.

He ripped himself from the head of the three tails. No legs, but just a bleeding mass of sluggish proportions. He dragged his bleeding lower half, desperately trying to cling on to life. His body pale and covered with scars and burns. His stretched out his hand, digging it into the sand like ash around him.

“I’m....a-a....god....”

He stretched out his other hand, hoping to pull himself further, but his strength slowly leaving him, his vision getting blurred and his muscles weak.

“Orochimaru....”

....

....

“...Damn you...”

His hand collapsed, his eyes becoming white and his face draining of life. The jinchurki was slain. He lie their dead upon the same shores he had waged war on humanity. His quest cut short as he played into the snake’s hands. Even in his dying breath he knew....

...but that’s not all....

The eyes of the three tails flashed open, it’s confroller no longer alive nor connected. It shakily rose up, giving a low bellied roar, like a wounded animal.

“The boy is finally dead. Now Freedom is within my reach...!”

The three tails began to hobble toward the ocean, still surpassingly having enough strength in him to move at such a pace, it’s front hands meeting with the shores of the mist’s ocean.

As the Biju began to crawl to the shore, a sudden flash would appear through the sky as something raced towards it. While Kumo-nin began to appear by where Darui and Aesir had been but before the creature could escape a familiar cry was head by Darui.

"LIGHTNING GUILLOTINE!"
Ay, the Raikage of Kumogakure, had finally made it to the island and it had not taken him much time to traverse to the Biju as he was already decked in the pride of the Raikage line the LCM had charged and jumped high into the air. His aim was simple, to use the enhanced speed to drop down with authority and deliver a powerful leg drop across the back of the neck of the big beast; which on top of its momentum and enhanced physicals, would aim to spread its electricity from the point of contact through the body to the water it was touching for a shocking after effect.

"Well as much fun as this has all been we should get going~"

The voice of Pakura was heard, though do to her invisibility cloak of Hina's design she and Kin over her shoulder had been kept masked as she revealed herself verbally to Kakashi and quickly tailed after Hina to the Genin as Kakashi was quick to follow, though he turned towards Hama once more as his lone eye had a neutral expression on his face.

"Well, it has been....interesting experience. Best of luck with this Lady Yuki." Kakashi mused before he walked off as the aim was clear to get to the Genin and get out of here.

"Thank you." Sakura replied with a sigh as the group continued to walk, though Tayuya had her eyes traced on Yukimura as the massive best felt limp as Kumo and Kiri forces began to rain down upon it. Took two nations to take it down but given its limping condition she figured he was not bound to last longer.

Man, this complicates things to say the least. Fucking great....curious what is next.

The two Shura clones moved back towards the rest of the Gennin group. They split off and each went towards their own targets, one went to Kiro’s area while the other approached Kou’s location.

The Shura clone approached Kiro who seemed to be having an... odd conversation with the Nadeshiko Kunoichi. “If you’re going to chat like this maybe at least wait until you’re out of the danger area before doing it.” He said as he made his way next to Kiro. “I can help carry him if you need it.”

The other Shura clone walked up to the situation with Kou. The fact that there was a child on the battlefield was already unusual for him but the fact that they weren’t making an effort to escape also confusing. “If you’re going to chat, can you at least get to a safer area before doing it?”

‘Twin-Tailed Scorpion huh? Interesting.’

The Uchiha took note of that title before his attention was taken by the sky lighting up in the distance. It was quite the display of lightning and even had a bit of force to it as well. As his feet made contact with land, he could feel the earth quaking due to the ferocity of the powerful explosion. After the trembles died down, Kiro was then met by one of Shura’s clones.

For a moment, Kiro stood in slight disbelief as he processed what Shura’s clone had just told him. Who did that clone think he was? An incompetent child? The last time Kiro had been called out for talking too much was back when he was still in the Academy. Shura sounded like some teacher telling his students to focus when barely anything was even happening in the first place!

“Listen Shura, I understand you’re concerned but some small talk isn’t going to kill us. Besides, with that last attack, I believe the situation is close to being handled. And also…”

The Uchiha paused as he spared a brief glance in Koki’o and Amari’s direction and considered whether or not he should drop Zaku. Though the Oto-Nin may seem like dead weight, there was an opportunity where his body could be utilized. Of course, that would only be necessary if a hypothetical scenario actually happened to play itself out.

“If things start getting difficult, then you can come and take him. Send that message to your original for me as well.”

Kiro said that last part calmly while restraining himself from nailing the clone right in the gut, just as Shura had struck his the day prior. Dispersing the clones was a pretty convenient way to transmit information, even if the original wasn’t that far ahead. Though some revenge wouldn’t hurt either, he didn’t feel like that was worth risking insubordination.

Kou snapped to Shura, frowning as the hyuga attempted to boss him around, even though he was already leaving with the group. He began to make an irritable sound in disapproval.

“I don’t even know you.”

Which was true, they never spoke at all to each other before. So he gave an eye gesture to Sakura to maybe intervene.

.....

With a cloud clap of thunder, the three tails’s neck was hit by overwhelming amounts of electricity. Doubled by the fact he was standing in water and his previous wounds, the tailed beast collapsed, making a large splash in to ocean. It was over. The three tails was down for the count. Finally....

Jin looked toward the new Kage in the battlezone, and then to the jinchurki. Having remembered Damos’s direct plan toward his jinchurki, he had begun to have doubts weather having one in the mist would be for the benefit of the their people’s safety. Instead, he turned his attention to Hama, who stood with her hand on her hip.

Taking that as her cue, she walked over to the head of the Yuki clan and his honor guards, her swagger never fading.

“You are alive. This is good news.” Jin spoke. “He has returned Hama.”

“I had a feeling from those black clouds darling~” Hama cooed. “It’s hard to hide such a-“

“I am in no mood for your games Hama.” Jin bore down. “Many of people are injured, and will soon die if they don’t have your expertise.”

“Hm...I see...”

Jin, paying a mind back to ay and his feat, he simply gave a huff.

“Such musiguided bravery.” He murmured. “If they only knew what lied ahead.”

......

Kai, emerging from the mist, was met with the aftermath of a powerful battle. The tailed beast skirmish seemed to have been over, and the thunderous village of clouds had won out. But something other than this bitter notion caught his eye. Jin, his father, along his honor guards nearby Hama. All the mist ninja in one place! Kai was grateful that he could meet up with them again.

“Hyo, Tsuki, come on! We’ll be safe with father.”

As the Biju fell limp, Ay spat in the air as the deed was done, the beast would not threaten Kumo borders as a ninja landed beside him and the downed beast.

"Lord Raikage! Darui's team is in the care of a Valkyrie, and they are all accounted for. Though it appears the targeted Jinchuriki eluded them and is no where to be seen!" One of the ninja informed Ay as he had been quickly briefed by Darui upon Ay's arrival as his ninja parry arrived not long after. Ay scowled at that, before he glanced down at the Biju and quickly came to a decision.

"I want a team of seal specialists here and a team back at the village with a container here on the double! I want this thing to remain out and its power suppressed until they arrive. We need this transferred into a containment unit before we transfer to the village. Our target was lost but this chance to make up the difference will not slip past us!" Ay said with authority as the ninja gave a nod.

"Yes Lord Raikage!" The ninja said before he departed to do just that, as others would move around the Biju as security.

Darui observed as he turned to Aesir after the same ninja had briefed them on the situation. Seemed they were going for this downed Biju as a replacement to the lost Jinchuriki, an annoying proposition but given that they lacked one on hand he wasn't sure if an alternative had existed.

"Well, it was....unconventional, but seems we now have transfer duty." Darui mused to Aesir.

Hyōryugetsu

Releasing a tense breath, the Hozuki waded into the circle of the Yuki's influence. Since the Ice wielders of the Mist were here, and the beast had been dealt with, her retreat became unnecessary. However, given the Yuki Clan had arrived, Hyo figured it wouldn't be much longer before the other forces of the mist arrived. Just on cue, hurtling over the horizon was a tidal wave of an army, in every sense of the phrase. The stretch of roiling ocean that had made up the tidal wave had been composed of the various members of the Hozuki Clan, and riding the wave was the Fifth Mizukage.

Mei

As the wave of shinobi hit land, crashing against the beach, off the wave stepped the Mizukage, and from within the wave emerged Shoshitsugetsu. As the woman made their entrance, the tidal wave died down, the Hozuki diffusing into the ocean, seething with the waters.

With a coy smile, Mei greeted, "Pleasant evening isn't it, Lord Raikage?"

~~Scene of the Battle~~

"Seems you've spoken a bit too soon Darui." Chuckling, Aesir made a signal to the remaining Valkyries. Ever the one to have something in his back-pocket, the Valkyrie leader immediately threw his cards on the table. The rumbling thunder clouds, scattered as they were, stick cackled with lightning. Black Lightning. The Four Corner's Liger Bomb formation had drawn power from all the Valkyries, however, their power primarily went to forging the thunderstorm needed for the technique. Furthermore, the ones to direct the technique had not been the four black lightning users of the Valkyries. Aesir had them hoist back before engaging, resulting in the descent of four blue Ligers rather than four black ones.

Although a significant amount of the cloud's power had been spent with that, the Valkyrie's most powerful lightning users still stood at the ready, furthermore, they had something else prepared to assist their attack.

Circling the sky was Kara, one of the two Valkyrie's who'd not participated in the previous group attack. She'd just finished weaving her hand seals, and was prepared to go at any moment. Should things head south, she would be able to sweep her wind and lightning chakra into a vortex that would channel and slightly amplify the might of the next combined attack. It wasn't up to the standard of the thunderstorm they'd created earlier, but it was better than nothing.

As tension in the air rose, Mei chuckled dismissively. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It seems you've done us a bit of a favor dealing with this beast, however—" Narrowing her gaze on Ay, "You should be fully aware of how sensitive possession of these biju are, the Water Daimyo would not be happy to hear I turned a blind eye to the land of lightning claiming such a creature."

"However, a conflict in these circumstances...the losses for both parties would be more than they were worth." Wearing an expression of thought, the Mizukage calmly proposed, "The Mist can retreat, but we'd rather not leave completely empty handed."

Following her statement, Mei relayed a small list of materials, a payment of sorts. They were not particularly expensive, and certainly didn't compare in value to the biju, but as they said, one's man trash was another man's treasure. Woven into her request, amidst the pool of other miscellaneous items, were materials that would hasten the recovery effort of the Mist.

However, as to not inadvertently betray their condition, she'd expertly woven them between a plethora of other materials, allowing no certain conclusion to be drawn based on her request alone.

Continuing on, she proposed, "Things have been quite...hectic as of late. The attack on Konoha, the escape of your own jinchuriki, the appearance of this Biju. Even just one of these would be a major event! So many of them, so close together, this matter should be discussed...don't you think?"

Though she hadn't been direct, her intention of gathering a Kage's Summit was clear, so too was the fact that she was requesting the Raikage throw in his vote. With two Kage backing this summons, things would go much smoother.

Koki'o

Now near 10 km away from the scene, the confrontation between the Mist and Cloud was no longer visible, having receded over the horizon.

"This should be far enough, don't you think?"

Giving Kiro an eerie smile, the Crying Star tensed her fists. She threw a look towards the nearest Jonin, Hinagiku, and spoke cheerily. "Hope you don't mind the distraction~"

Biting her thumbs, she took of running, weaving hand seals as she did. "I would give the dead-weight to the clone if I were you~"

Her intention was clear, the kidnapping operation began now. From her position, it would take her only a handful of seconds to close in on Kiro.

Hinagiku

Hina only sparred a passing glance towards Koki'o and her altercation with Kiro refocusing her attention elsewhere. The Hyuga Matriarch was, apparently, unconcerned with the Nadeshiko kunoichi's advance on Kiro. From her one glance, she'd gathered, compiled and assessed the data about the situation.

Expression, Posture, Heart Rate, Depth of breath... all the little knicks and knacks in body language that the Nadeshiko could project had been captured by Hinagiku's Byakugan. She then judged that the intent to harm or even kill was completely absent from the Nadeshiko's assault. This was merely a scuffle between children.

Although she paid a modicum of attention to the events, the bulk of her attention was better placed elsewhere. Pakura and Kakashi had yet to reconvene with them, along with a number of the genin who lagged slightly behind. In addition, the altercation between the Cloud and Mist was also an event she watched closely.

Kumogakure had just lost their own jinchuriki, so if they failed to take this one then their power would certainly dip, such information which literally foretold the balance of the powers that be were to be grasped at every opportunity, and relayed with the utmost of haste.

"Wouldn't be the first time....." Darui replied with a sigh, as he should have known better. With the Yuki Clan and Kiri in relative close proximity here he should have guessed that Mei might have made an appearance. Irregardless he quickly moved to flank Ay as the right hand as the Raikage glared down at Mei who made her rather casual arrival to the field and outlined her demands to him.

Filled with adrenaline and the LCM still flickering at the moment he half considered forcing Mei off through force. But a glance to Darui and considering the circumstances he let out a sigh as he dropped his LCM. He listened as Mei laid out a list of items she requested in exchange for them leaving the Biju in Kumo's hands. Both Ay and Darui noted how curious the items were, as none of them while not cheap didn't seem so expensive and seemed a disproportionate downgrade to the value of a Biju....which made both suspicious given Mei despite of her casual demeanor at times was smarter than this.

There was more to this, but what they had been unsure of.

Either way, Ay cared little. He valued Kumo's position more than Kiri's, and those items were easier to give away and replace than the risk of losing a Biju. So it had not taken long for him to come to an agreement.

"We will see to it at our earliest opportunity." Ay said, and Mei seemed to have another idea in her head. With all these global events that happened in short succession Mei seemed to suggest some discussion on it which Ay knew just what she implied by that.

"So you propose the Summit?"

----------
Soon enough, Pakura (Now with her cover dropped) with Kin over a shoulder and Kakashi would catch back up with the other Genin. Hina elected it seemed to scout, though Hina being off on her own had been expected by this point. All seemed to go well as Pakura had a toothy smirk to the group.

"All right, I think we've had enough island fun. Time to go back home." Pakura replied, more so to her own team though Kakashi had been quick to catch Pakura with a side glance.

"I feel one factor is being overlooked here. One scratch has been made, the other is required." Kakashi mused as Pakura let out a sigh. Part of her had the hope he'd just forget that detail with all that had happened but it was to be expected and Pakura was not one to spit in the face of an ally.

"We'll iron out the details once we make it back to mainland. Hina can vouch that your people will be well compensated for this I am sure of it~" Pakura said as she made an agreement to honor their agreement that had been at the core of this deal between them.

“This should be far enough, don’t you think?”

As he listened to those ominous words, the Uchiha, in a concealed manner, had his fingers carefully search through one of his weapon pouches. By the time Koki’o had offered her suggestion, he had prepared a counter-offer.

“Here, why don’t you hold him?”

Kiro wasted no time in slapping what seemed to be an explosive tag onto Zaku before throwing his unconscious body towards Koki’o in perhaps a futile attempt to stop her from completing the hand seals. The biting of her thumbs basically screamed summoning jutsu. At the very least, the body in front should make her hesitate.

As for himself, he would follow up by jumping backwards to avoid taking any major damage from a potentially devastating explosion and also form some hand seals for the lightning ball technique. Once the spheres of electricity formed, he planned to send them in whatever direction Koki’o happened to move in. As for his old pal...

‘Sorry Zaku, I’ll have to thank you another time.’

Kou caught wind of battle going on nearby. He looked behind him, making sure everyone was okay. Sakura...Pervy puppet lady, and- wait...what?! Kou caught Kiro, placing an explosive tag on a Zaku, on Boss! Kou gasped, growling at Kiro.

He’s betraying us?? I won’t let him get away with this! I have to do...something....!

While Kiro wasn’t looking, Kou nabbed a steel spare part from Madoka’s bag, running off to Kiro, aiming on just whacking him in the back of the head with the taken part.

.....

Jin stepped forward, past Hama, even though she was the target of his operation being here, which confused her.

“Hm? And just where are you going?”

He didn’t look back, but simply held up a lone handsign.

“Do not follow me.”

Suddenly, Jin turned into a puddle of water, mixing in with the vast ocean. Hama simply blinked with a smile growing across her face.

By of course....

The Yuki honor guard, now assigned to ensuring Hama gets back to the mist, had their chakra spears at the ready when Mei has arrived, awaiting any backstabbing on Ay’s Part, as one could expect. Hama, looking up and down at ay whistled.

“A lot of muscle, but does he have the brain to match his brawn I wonder?” She whispered to the honor guard.

They made no response, but simply pointed all their spears toward the mist.

“Right...”

“Auntie Hama!”

Kai had emerged from the woodline, more specifically the sprawling mist theybhad created to mask their movements. Lookinga around for his dad, he was nowhere in sight.

“Where did father go?”

Hama put a finger on her chin, her red lips curving in a smile.

“To meet with an old acquaintance....”

....
.......
........

Damos emerged from his end of the mist cloud, now the island’s where the battle had taken place were all but behind him. His cloak fluttered in his sway, the wind still unruly from the aftermath of the tailed beast’s defeat. As he continued his trek, something beckoned him.

“Damos.”

Damos stopped. While he did stop, he didn’t pay a mind to turn around to face the voice, which belonged to none other than Jin Yuki himself. Jin sighed, standing on the ocean ten feet from the Akatsuki member. His foothold the only blue spot amongst a sea of black.

“Why? Why now have you decided to return to the mist? Have you forgotten so quickly what happened there to them? To you?”

Silence.

“...You have only succeeded in cementing yourself as an enemy. You know this.” Jin grunted. “There were no casualties, but even still, you backed up the myth behind your conception.”

Jin was again met by silence.

“I haven’t attacked you when you grabbed our jinchurki, a mist citizen, due to respect. But don’t mistake that for complacency. If you dare set foot in the mist again, I’m afraid I will have no choice but to put you down myself.”

.....
.....

“No. You won’t.”

After Damos said this, he continued walking forwards, Jin balling a fist, doing nothing but watch Damos walk off into the distance. Several dozen seconds ticked by, Jin still as motionless as when Damos said those words.

Clone number 2 looked at Kou who made his displeasure clear. He took a short look the the kid’s frown before shrugging him off and turning the other way. “Neither do I.” He responded. When he was about to leave, clone 2 heard running noises coming from behind him and turned around to find Kou running at Kiro with a metal bat in hand. “Hmm?”

Clone number 1 arrived alongside Kiro on the island. “Alright, we’re pretty far from that place now.” He though. Looking back, the clone saw Koki’o prepare a jutsu and run up at Kiro. “Hmm? The hell is she doing?” He thought as he took a few steps closer to intervene before witnessing Kiro slap a paper bomb on Zaku’s back and throw him at Koki’o. He frowned as he saw Kiro do that. “Damn it Kiro.” He through as he took off in an instant. Clone number 1 leaped off the ground right in front of Kiro and proceeded to run into Zaku’s limp body and dragged him out of the way. “Oh, it’s a fake one.” He said to himself, mentioning the bomb tag in Zaku’s back.

Koki'o

Already finished with her seals, Koki'o smirked and spun into a cartwheel. As her hands hit the ground the summoning jutsu erupted. The smoke from the summoning obscured vision, hiding the Scorpion Star as her newly summoned scorpions used their tails as high powered springs, flinging her into the sky to avoid Kiro's obstruction.

Weaving hand-seals again, she took aim at the lightning orbs. Puckering her lips she began to spit bullets of poison. "Nadeshiko Style: Scorpion Shower."

Due to her sudden air-time, Koki'o was actually traveling in an arc above Kiro. From that vantage point she began to fire bullets of poison into the lightning orbs, working in sync with her scorpions to pin them all. The lightning was more than enough to trigger the volatility of the poison, and each lightning ball that got hit exploded, diffusing the scorpion toxins into the air.

Her aerial journey ended behind Kiro, but her assault also came to a halt. Cocking her hands on her hips, mirth and amusement were on her face as her opponent faced the sudden assault of a child.

It came as no surprise to see Koki’o get her summons off. Though his vision became obstructed by the smoke, he could tell she had avoided Zaku due to Shura’s clone running in to save him. That meant she clearly wasn’t in the same spot. The Uchiha looked up into the air just in time to see her burst out the white smoke, flying in arc above him.

As he sent the lightning balls upwards, the girl weaved another set of hand seals before raining down a barrage of poison bullets in unison with her summoned scorpions. The ensuing clash between the lightning and poison created a cloud of toxins. Before Kiro could follow up with another jutsu, he heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind.

“Not this time.”

That comment was a reference to the moment he had been knocked out by that mole from Iwa. He wouldn’t allow fate to repeat itself here. When Kiro turned around to defend himself from his attacker, he was surprised to see the little boy aiming to attack him with the steel part.

It didn’t take much for Kiro to figure out the motive behind Kou’s assault. His actions probably looked like he had tried to harm Zaku. That probably rubbed the child the wrong way. Forgetting about the fight for a moment, the Uchiha tried to reassure Kou by openly revealing to him the secrets of the tag.

“The tag I put on Zaku was a fake. It’s not real. He’s safe and won’t explode. I was just trying to defend myself from the kidnapper. You understand, right?”

He hoped his voice sounded sincere enough for the child to understand him. The added whisper of ‘kidnapper’ should at least give him a basic idea. The child should be afraid, very afraid that there was not only one, but two, technically three professional kidnappers nearby!

In all seriousness, with the growing poison cloud above, it definitely wasn’t a safe environment for Kou and anyone else in the vicinity. Kiro would take the boy and move but the girl standing before him might have other ideas. However, Koki’o did pause her assault for the child, so he wondered where she wanted to go from here.

Letting go of the steel part, the Uchiha looked up to Koki’o before he spoke.

“Apologies for the interruption. I’d rather not have him get caught in the crossfire. So you’re trying to kill us all with that poison or what?”

Damn it what is that dumbass doing!?
I don't know you are the one who trusted him!
You can criticize me later, for now we have to make sure people don't die on the trip back!

A lot had happened in the last minute or so to say the very least. First it appeared that Kiro had chucked Zaku towards one of the Nadeshiko kunoichi, and attached a paper bomb to it!

Then if that had not been enough, the situation escalated from this "prank" or dud or whatever Kiro would claim as Koki'o responded the only way that seemed fitting. By having a poison barrage rain down around them!

This idiot is gonna get himself killed just going from point A to B, why did Lord Orochimaru want him again?

Well, the saying goes hell have no fury like a woman's scorn. Especially these women...

As Tayuya and Takato gave their thoughts Madoka was quick to move after Kou as he had again put himself right on the front lines. Whatever Zaku did to get this bond was puzzling but given she had natural immunity to a fair number of poisons along with puppets she prepared to pull him out.

Before a sudden miniature appeared, one that began to suck up the poison away from Koki'o, Kiro, Kou or any of them. Kakashi had been quick to act and his plan was simple...make a mini twister to funnel the poison and rise it up and above all of them to allow it to disperse harmlessly away. Kakashi would eye both Kiro and Koki'o.

"I shouldn't have to remind you how to act on the field. Much less that playing this kind of "game" only ever ends poorly. Are you both finished?" Kakashi said, with his usual tone though it carried an air of authority with it all the same as he aimed to quell this issue here and now.

Once given approval, the Leaf-nin approach K'waule to think how to best hop on top of it. Seeing as he had no prior experience in this matter, Taiyo decided to board the bird like a horse, hoping he didnt incur its wrath somehow.

"Hey...what's wrong?" Taiyo had noticed that the Hyuga had her head buried in the bird's feather's something that was a souce of concern gor the FBS master.
Tsuki/Seiun
The sight that befell Tsuki conveyed a great battle that had recently came to a close. While she was intruiged at what events had transpired to lead to the current situation, the Yuki-nin decided her time would be best spent following Kai. On her way, she had found someone who had been gone for a suspicious amount of time: Hama-sensei.

"Hama-sensei!" Tsuki ran to her teacher to give her a warm embrace before quickly releading due to embarrassment, "Forgive me, so much has happened since you departed. For one, Kai got injured, and I had to heal him! I think I did a decent job too, considering he's not bleeding out now..." The Yuki had stifled herself from saying any more regarding what had happened, as she was sure that more pressing matters where at hand.

Meanwhile, Seiun had given himself a moment to reflect on B.O.S.E.C's words.

Clearly, the construct was known for doing its homework, seen in the first moments that the two met. The missing-nin now pondered on what sort of power could be comparable to the entirety of the Yuki clan, and how he could use it to his advantage.

Hey B.O.S.E.C, I just had a thought, do you think that the god of, Im sorry ehat was it, fear and despair, can be reasoned with? Maybe he could be our ticket out of Kirigakure.

Kou stopped, processing kiro’s words. He looked back and forth, left and right. The lines had become muddled at this point as his sense of friend and foe began to get skewed. He rubbed his head.

“This is so confusing...”

It wasn’t long before Madoka intervened, protecting him, Zaku, and everyone else from the poison. She was quick to bite down on them with cold hard reason. The way she was diffusing the situation, Kou appreciates and almost admired. He needed to find a way to hone that skill himself...though it’s not like he was intiiidating enough to get that tactic to work.

Hama felt the warm embrace of a familiar ice bending ninja: Tsuki. Hama gave a small chuckle as Tsuki released her hug, happy to see her sensei. Hama patted her head when she heard of the tales.

“You acted bravely Tsuki, well done~ most would have quakes in their boots at the mere mention of a jinchurki being nearby, let alone a full on hybrid of two beasts! I say you went above and beyond, well done indeed~”

Looks like I was right about her. She possesses the quality. Perhaps she can carry on my work when she gets of age? She has potential, let’s see how far that can stretch...!

B.O.S.E.C. Swirled around Seiun, glitching and weaving to face directly in front of him, resting a talon upon what appeared to be it’s ‘chin’

“Ta̶l͝ki̵ng͝ w͝i̢th͟ a ̴g͏od̷ ͜is liķe a͡r͏guing ̷w̛įt̵h͡ ̀the ̧sun͘. ̴N҉oth̛ing ͘g̷ets ͘do͝ne҉,͘ a͘nd͜ ͝yo̵u ͞wálk͠ ́a̴wày ̨bur̵n̡ed.̸”

B.O.S.E.C. Then heals out it’s hand, a projection appearing. An image of the hidden mist village, albeit blurred and blue in color. It seems as though it had the ability to display imagery to seiun, something that others couldn’t see.

Amari was getting ready to tell Kiro her name before they were so rudely interrupted by a Konoha-nin. Then, her sister realized that they were out of danger and immediately started her "test" before Amari was able to even introduce herself. Amari refused to take part in this little experiment of Koki'o. Kiro had some guts with that move with the Oto-nin, but it did set off a few other... complications. For one, this alerted the kid because his... whatever the Oto-nin was to him, was in danger. Then her little poison trick got the other shinobi involved in the scuffle.

Amari was quite annoyed at the entire situation and thought she'd mess with Koki'o just a little because of this. "Yes, Koki'o I think you should stop your little game. I was just trying to have a pleasant conversation with Kiro before you so rudely interrupted." Amari knew this was anything but a game, but she wanted to get under Koki'o's skin just a little. If she had waited just a bit longer, Amari would have even helped her in Kiro's test. Of course, Koki'o probably wanted the private fight anyway. Amari was getting her fun out of the situation either way.

Koki'o

"Respectfully, but this is no game old man."

Eyeing the snowy-haired Jonin who'd dispersed the clouds of poison, Koki'o responded. Next she turned to Amari, "Between the Flowery Monk and the Twin-tailed Scorpion, who's more pleasant...does it really need to be said? This game is his proof and—", she now turned to Kiro, "—If that'd killed you, then you would've failed without a doubt. You certainly couldn't have beaten Yizhen then died to something like that."

"Soon, I'll return to the Mist, after that, I'll come and find you to finish our little game."

She'd originally been present here as an observer for the Lady Mizukage, and it was only natural that she would report back when she'd finished.

Mei

"A Summit would be for the best."

The smile on the Mizukage's face grew a bit brighter, having achieved gains for doing...absolutely nothing. Negotiation at it's finest.

"Details should be saved for a more suitable time and location. I'll keep in contact but, if there's nothing else, we'll be heading home."

Hinagiku

With Kakashi taking it upon himself to pacify the children, Hina continued to observe. She noted the Cloud and Mist didn't appear too hostile with each other, in addition, she'd noted Jin running off to go make contact with the cloaked figure. 'Monkeys in the same barrel, I suppose.'

Dragging Zaku away from the fight, Clone 1 set the unconscious sound ninja on the ground then looked back at the exchange between Kiro and Koki'o. The clone instinctively shuddered when he saw Koki'o's poison cloud appear. "Poison, the main body is going to freak out if he was here." The clone though in a casual demeanor to himself while proceeding to drag Zaku further away from the action. The poison was luckily quickly dispersed thanks to Kakashi and Madoka and Koki'o looked to have halted her assault. Clone 1 met up with clone 2. "We should report back to main central." Clone 2 nodded before dispersing.

Further away on the island, real Shura was laying on a tree branch as he waited for the rest of the group to catch up. Upon receiving the information from one of his clones, the Hyuga suddenly sprung up from his position and jumped off his branch. "The hell was all that?" He said to himself before taking off towards Sagiso. "Hey Sagiso, can you tell me why your acquaintance would attack Kiro for no apparent reason and unleash a poison gas fog in the area our groups is gathered in?" Shura had a clear tone of annoyance in his voice.

"Well, not really many great words to use as a substitution. I'll say you should consider your test in a more timely time and place, but in any event we should round up and move out." Kakashi replied to the group as quite honestly he had grown tired of this island adventure and desired to move on, Sakura let out a sigh simply thankful the worst had been avoided while Madoka returned her puppet and glanced towards Kou.

"You know for Tomiko's sake, you ought to be more careful. Last thing she'd like to hear is that you died under needless friendly fire. Well, if you can call that "friendly" I mean." Madoka said to the youngest of the group.

Tayuya simply had a sneer as she walked ahead and Takato moved to keep an eye on her.

-----------
"Summits are always a pain, but given the circumstances something must be done. Since we are finish, give my people their space." Ay replied, not the most friendly but given that the verbal deal had been struck there was nothing more to it as the sealing team was bound to have begun their trip to the island to place the Biju in his temporary container till a new Jinchiriki had been selected.

Darui himself let out a sigh. Things were...rockier than he could have guessed, but his team was safe and they ended up with a Biju somehow so while a mixed bag least there was some good to come from this. Though the Akatsuki factor had been concerning.

“How am I supposed to know...?” Kou massaged is temples.

In truth, Kou was very confused on who was on who’s side. He simply knew that Madoka and Sakura appeared to be the only ones somewhat competent with his best interests at heart. He walked over to where Zaku lay on the ground. He grabbed him by the arms, unable to pull him that far due to his weight. After another tug or two, he gave a sigh, looking back to Madoka.

“...don’t you have a weird doll that can help lift boss?”

Madoka merely nodded as she produced a second puppet from her back, one that appeared to be a large and somewhat humanoid rhinoceros beetle that stood tall before it moved down to all fours as Madoka had Zaku's body loaded on its back with it easily supporting his weight.

"This should suffice. Have any complaints? Well keep them cause I am not carrying him on my back." Madoka replied in an inexpressive tone as she began to march ahead with her puppet.
