Dorn smiled as his friend was repaired by the proto-nanite, the single chihuahua-sized insectile robot having restored him and the brute smiled more as Benkei seemed raring to go. Dorn guffawed with laughter as the large robot's axe was used against its smaller kin. But then Benkei asked him to do... something. Dorn had no idea what he meant, but when Benkei frantically illustrated his point with gestures, Dorn got the idea. He grabbed Benkei by his shoulder and hefted him in his hand, and lobbed him upwards and away from the Titanion's bridge, above the oncoming robots. No sooner had he thrown Benkei did Dorn lumber forward, aiming to collide with the robots to support Benkei when his friend landed. As he trampled into the robots, smashing the heavier ones to pieces with his gauntlet, he noticed there was a lot of distance between himself, Benkei and the bridge. That was good. He remembered a distraction as part of the objectives Mint had explained to him, and the two were drawing many robots away from their command and control with their wild rampage. Dorn sent a Data-Cant message to Mint, which effectively stated "We've drawn them far away, you should be able to take the bridge." by showing her where he and Benkei were and how many robots were pursuing them.

Mint

"Patrol robot? Let me do something..." Mint's rods wiggled and a low buzzing sound could be heard as she tried to access the surrounding bytes.

Bytes was the fifth dimension of space-time continuum, at least for the robots. It consisted of seven layers of augmented reality where a data can be latched into specific spot to create virtual objects. Though the object would only last temporarily if it's not supported by any server. Mint used this a lot and this was one of her favorite technique.

Accessing bytes...

Analyzing the target...

Seeking suitable coordinate...

Planting Loudmouth...

Process complete.

The robot would suddenly stopped on its track and turned around. It then rushed towards an unseen directions as if it just detected a threat. Loudmouth, as the name implies, was a piece of data with the sole purpose of announcing its existence. It's like throwing rock at another direction to make the guards check on it, but virtual.

"Path cleared. I estimated 50 seconds before the patrol returned to this path. Let's move. We should arrive at the centre soon." She also sent back a nod at Dorn's report. Hold for a bit more.

Gigi nodded again and followed in the wake of Agonius’s “minions,” as he referred to them. The very small number of robots that managed to slip past the wall of their own were met with the deadly twirl of her boomerang, which she was now using as a short-range weapon. Slowly but steadily, the army of hijacked robots cleared a path through to the ship. Now the only problem was...

“Do we even know where the command center is?” Gigi asked. “I mean, it’s not like we exactly have a map to the robots’ technology. Unless we take out robots as we scour the whole place for the controls, I don’t see how we could locate it. Unless you have—“ She broke off to impale another robot. “—X-ray vision, by chance.”

It was only ten minutes ago Benkei was scared for his life falling through the air, but now he was loving it, at the peak of the throw he charged up his arms. In that split second he blasted a shot so large, everything below it ended up becoming a hot sludge. The blast had propelled Benkei even higher, giving him more time to charge up another attack. He concentrated the energy into a small ball the size of a football, and came down hitting the ground with the force of an atom bomb. Everything in 2 feet were instantly incinerated, and anything past that was blown away from the force. Even the ship itself lurched forward, it's nose pointing closer towards ground. Benkei stumbled forward looking at the carnage he had created, robots scatter all around him and the ground below him was starting to slowly cave in. He stumbled forwards, before falling on the ground. He had overused his core and now the after effects left him a sitting duck for any robots.

Two sniper shots incapacitated two robots infront of Rex and Mint, as Mint herself made one follow her drone.
"Well that takes care of those three" Rex said and took off down the vertical shaft using both his grappling hook and his palm-knife to stick to the sides, still careful not to make any noise. He could hear mechanical whirring on all sides, but the one down from there was the loudest. Either it meant more robots, or they were close to the engines. Or both. It was great to hear that they were getting close though. Suddenly, a shake in the airship made Rex lose his grip on the sides and he fell down the rest of the way and hit his head.
"Ouch. Seems like the fight outside is going well..." he muttered as he straightened out and continued on the way.

(This is something @Schrift007 asked me to add in my post)

As the battle on top of the airship had once again turned in the cyborgs favor, two robots with flash bang grenades and some weird speakers of sorts came out to aid their brethren. They were there to take care of the sniper that was bothering the robots. They threw flash bangs at Daisy and Copen in an attempt to throw the sniper off.

Dorn saw the shockwave coming, and slammed his feet and gauntlet into the deck to hold position. Even so, he was forced back, his limbs tearing gashes in the hull as with the incredible force of Benkei's maneuver pushed him. He rose to his feet and laughed at the pandemonium the focused blast wreaked on the robots around his friend.

But his friend looked incapacitated, and Dorn thumped forward to support. He sprayed shells in bursts ward off nearby attackers, fighting his way to his friend and grabbing him under his right arm, making a fighting withdrawal, trying to keep the enemy away from the bridge even then.

An alert popped up in his augmetic eye: Ammunition Low. Dorn had needed to use his ammunition very liberally to stave off the robots, but he couldn't do that for long. He snarled, and sent another message to Mint "My partner is incapacitated, low on ammunition. Can't hold position much longer without support. You need to take the bridge soon." His tone was calm in spite of the urgency of the situation, since he was not angry at Mint, but at the robots.

@Spoiled Bread @Schrift007

Mint

Retreat slowly and join the other squad. We're currently right on top of the control room. We should be able to take over soon. Mint replied to Dorn. She jumped downward next to the fallen Rex and help him get up.

"We've right on top of our destination, but my data said the control room is guarded by some guard bots, serpent model. Should we focus to annihilate them first or can you hold them while I hack into the system?"

@Killerbunny the god @Hogzilla

Dorn replied to Mint with an acknowledgement blip and altered his course, moving towards Gigi and Agonius, now saving the last of his ammunition and using his gauntlet to delay pursuit by collapsing catwalks and gantries as well as knocking robots aside. The tide was gaining on him, and he had to move progressively faster to keep at distance, until he happened upon Gigi and Agonius making their own run on the command center. Not knowing Agonius was in control of the red lightning-charged robots, Dorm trampled many underfoot or crushed them in his gauntlet as he made his way to the armored man and organic looking girl. With Benkei held up in his left arm, Dorn slammed through a knot of robots that were real enemies and barked "Man. Down. Need supp... Port!" He managed to be halfway understandable even as he fought, seeking to form a coherent group with his new allies against the machines they fought already and the huge swarm he had drawn along. He wanted to use the proto-nanite again, but in combat it was too risky, and although Dorn didn't know it, the Proto-nanite could not have fixed Benkei's core overload anyways. That needed the specialist attention of his creator in all likelihood. In the meantime, Dorn fought like Hell, raging at the machines that were cutting his flesh and scoring his armor.

Copen had been doing a pretty good job at defending Daisy, by mostly defeating any robots that came into view or by drawing their gunfire. He didn't immediately realize that two robots that had just arrived were carrying different weapons than the rest, but upon zooming in with his camera-eyes he figured those were some sort of grenade launchers. He couldn't react fast enough to take them out before they fired, but he knew that if they incapacitated Daisy they would get rid of most of the supporting fire. Not willing to let that happen, he performed another booster dash, this time headed straight towards the already launched flash bangs, in an attempt to knock them out of the way before they detonated.

While he managed to whack one to the side successfully, the other one detonated right in front of him, blinding him. He was still somewhat aware of his position relative to the robots, so he boosted towards the Titanion's general direction and rammed into one of the robots, destroying it due to the speed he carried. Not knowing how many robots were surrounding him, he opened fire on full auto while turning around in place, hoping to keep the machines at bay. "Daisy, help me out here! Take out any nearby robots, I'm blind due to those flash grenades!" He called for help through the comms, before trying to open his eyes. Instead of seeing pure white, his vision was filled with static, it seemed his vision would be staying like that for a while.

“What?” Gigi looked alarmed, momentarily distracted. Her hearing saved her as she dodged to the side just in time to avoid a strike as she caught the sound of the massive robot fist whizzing by her head. A few decisive slashes from her boomerang reduced that robot to scrap metal. Her body pretty much ran on autopilot (figuratively, not literally) as her brain tried to comprehend the mosh pit of sounds Dorn had emitted.

“Wait a se— I’m not a doctor! What the—tch—“ She emitted a short electromagnetic pulse, distracting a robot long enough for her to sever a few exposed wires. They were almost at the ship, mostly protected by their wall of robots, but Benkei was down, Dorn couldn’t fight as effectively while carrying him, and Agonius was tied up with controlling his robots. Okay, congratulations Gigi, she thought acidly to herself. You know how to asses the situation. Now do something about it, you lump!

“Here, give him to me,” she said to Dorn, thinking quickly. In case he didn’t understand, she mimed receiving something from him, then pointed at Benkei. “Short range smashing,” she continued, pointing at him. “Long range.” She pointed at herself as she took out another two robots with her boomerang before it returned to her. “Protection.” She gestured to the red-eyed robots around them controlled by Agonius, hoping he would get the picture. “Have to reach the helm.”

Daisy flinched as the grenades came closer but then opened her eyes to see that Copen had intercepted, she switched her ammo type to regular for the faster firing speed and then took aim at the area where Copen was located "I got your back kid, don't worry" she said as she began to take out as many robots as she could by going in quick success of aiming around the head and firing, then switching target, aiming, firing. She continued to provide assistance while listening out for any calls for assistance.

Rex let himself get helped by Mint.
"I'll deal with the robots. Shouldn't take too long. Count to ten before jumping down after me. You need to be careful not to attract any attention" Rex said. He was very strict about how stealthy Mint needed to be. With a kick down, the ventilation shaft broke under him and he fell right on one of the robots. He took it out with his knife, jamming it into the head. He pulled out his katana and got ready to fight the rest.
"Daisy, how's the fighting going outside?" He asked over the comms, wanting to know the situation out there.

Dorn understood that Gigi meant to take Benkei, and was able create enough breathing room to make the exchange. He did not understand why the red-eyed robots were behaving strangely, but he had his hands full with the rest as it was, and so only occasionally crushed one of Agonius' machines, pulverizing one if it happened to get too close. He knocked over a pile of storage crates, using them as an obstacle to make the robots' attack vector more narrow. He wasn't smart, but he'd been trained fairly well.

With both arms free, Dorn let rip with the last of his ammunition, firing it off in bursts to buy his team a few seconds of reprieve. His gun's apocalyptic rage finally ceased and the spinning barrels spun down, and he surged forward where Gigi had indicated, towards the helm, now using his gun like a set of knuckle dusters as he plowed into the lesser robots.

Mint

Mint nodded and did as rex said. She counted to ten before jumping in and get away before any robot noticed her. The room was a wide one, but unlike the typical control room, there's nothing like monitors and panels lined up. No. The room was very plain, with bulky boxes connected to dozens of cables here and there. Mint couldn't find any panel where she could access the mainframe.

"Rex. This is a UI-less control room. I need to perform a dive-in. Cover me from the big guards, but don't make contact with me." Mint opened one of the box and cut one of the cable. Before she proceed, she contacted Dorn.

Dorn, I need all my processor so our network will be temporarily unavailable.

After she gaves Dorn a heads up, Mint plugged the disc she got into a nearby slot. Now came the hard part, usually after plugging a program she should be done by simply extracting the program through the monitor. However, UI-less build like this was a technology made by robots for the robots. An AI would be the one that handle the programming and as such, UI like monitor and button was unnecessary. In order to gain acces Mint must enter the system directly. So she put the cables into her mouth and let the current flow through her body. This would be a fatal action if not for her modified nerves, blue electric current could be seen jumping from one of her horn to the other and her body turned rigid as deadly electric field enveloped her.

Even a simple act like gaining access was made hard by the existence of a sentinel AI. It requires Mint several more tries before she was finally able to enter the system fully. Mint immediately started unpacking the program in the disc.

While the disc was extracting, Mint took the opportunity to force the activation of emergency shutters, closing the blast doors in several points. This should stop the robots from flooding the deck and gaves the cyborg fighters some breather.

While slightly annoyed that Dorn had trampled his minions, the fact that he made more than enough opportunities to get more minions made it up for this. " Dorn, do not attack the robots with red lightning sparking from them. Those are our allies. " Agonius said over to Dorn before holding out his wrench behind himself. " Watch them change, and be careful not to hit any of them. The more I have under my control, the more we can use for cannon fodder. " He stated, before using a combination of his Wrench's and his actual TRC Core to shoot out lightning both infront of him and behind him. The lightning sparked and jumped inbetween robots and broken robots. To the active ones, it had done little other than stun them for a couple moments. For the many, MANY broken ones however, it had re-formed them back to how they originally were, with the exception that all their eyes were red from the TRC's Energy (If it wasn't red before, that is), and that red lightning sparked out from their bodies. The re-animated robots began fiercely attacking their robotic allies, protecting the cyborgs to the best of their abilities. " We'll need people to move to the control center, I can cause a distraction with my minions. I'm not sure if staying out here is a good choice. " Agonius said, as he took out his plasma pistol and fired bursts at crowds of non-TRC Robots, resurrecting those and those his minions broke down aswell.

“No kidding,” Gigi grunted as she hurled her boomerang yet again. It sailed over the heads of Agonius’s puppets, sliced a few robots in half, and returned. She caught it deftly, stumbling a few steps from Benkei’s extra weight over her opposite shoulder. “This whole area is an accident waiting to happen. Argh!”

Some kind of bullet had hit her in the shoulder and lodged in her collarbone. Gigi plucked it out; it hadn’t gone much further than skin-deep, and wouldn’t impede her aim... much. “Stupid... little... robots!” She swung the boomerang in a large arc, taking out yet another bot. “Just get through to the control center,” she muttered to herself. “Once we get there, we can leave all these—“ She slashed though more metal. “—behind us.”

Daisy heard Rex and surveyed the area momentarily, "Benkei is hurt I think, Gigi is taking him into the direction of the control centre, the others are also working on getting to the control centre, by the looks of things it's time to wrap this up" she said before turning to Copen, "hey kid, get to the control and assist the others, I lay down fire from here and join everyone else once the airship is in the air" she said before turning to where Agonius had his controlled bots defending the others, she set to work offing as many of the enemy bots as she could, at one point she swayed slightly and decided to quickly check herself, she had a few wounds from stray bullets, one in her shoulder a few in her left arm and one in the side of her rifle, she ignored them and continued to fire not noticing that she had also sustained some damage to her left leg and that it was leaking an oily substance.

Rex clenched his teeth. Of course the kid would get himself hurt. He hoped Mint could keep the connection or else they would be trapped in there. Ideally they would be able to rendezvous with Agonius later. He cut through two robots with his katana and used his knife on a third, though he doubted the robots hadn't already sent for backup. They wouldn't be able to stay in this room for long. Mint had warned him to refrain from making contact with her though so he would give her a little more time. He managed to fend off most robots without them hurting him, but eventually he'd make a mistake and the robots would get the upper hand.
"Agonius, can you give me a report on what's going on over there?" He asked over the comms.

"Got it!" Copen replied. His vision was starting to get less static-y, but it was still fairly difficult to see properly. Whatever, I'll just try to get to the control room, destroy any machine that moves until my vision clears up. He thought, before dropping down near the bridge to dispatch any nearby robots. He was quickly spotted by a small group of them, and got to work. He boosted towards one of them, bouncing off of it backwards, destroying it on impact, repeating the process with two closer ones. The last robot of the group was a bit further away, so he pointed his pistol's underside towards it, shining a light on it that left an X-shaped light marker on top of the robot. When Copen pulled his weapon's trigger, the barrage of laser shots homed in on the robot, destroying it. I might have to rely on this for a bit... He thought, before boosting off towards the center of the ship, where the control room was located.

Well, he would've wanted to actually enter the control room, but as he approached the area several emergency shutters blocked the path. This would be beneficial for the hacking team, as the robots would be kept at bay, but it also meant that quite a few robots would be in the surrounding area. Which, of course, meant that he would have to face them. A much bigger group of robots popped up, attempting to corner him, including a much bigger one that carried a huge axe. "Damn it..." The cyborg muttered, and tried to do his best to hold them off, with a mixture of laser shots and booster kicks. Of course, having his vision impaired made it difficult to see incoming shots, and some of those shock bullets hit his right leg. Though those got stopped by his nitinol alloy skin and armor, the shocks made him unable to move the limb, thus making his movement more difficult and boosting less effective.

Not confident in his outcome if he stayed in that position, he momentarily retreated by boosting under the robot horde, before shooting at the robots while moving backwards, still limping. He managed to take out most of the robots, but the bigger one was still a threat, and he didn't think he would be able to take it down with his leg incapacitated, so he just hoped that his continuous shots either slowed it down until another cyborg intervened, or miraculously managed to destroy it.

"Stop carrying me" he mustered out of his lips falling off her shoulders. He manage to stand up, but used Gigi as a temporary support. "I weigh over two hundred pounds, don't waste you're strength" he stumbled a bit before steadying himself. Benkei aimed his arm at one of the robots, but the most it could do was spurts of weak blasts. Out of frustration he punched the nearest robot, "I hate these robots." He swung at the nearest one again, each punch looking sluggish and weak. It started to get to the point where the robots could just move out the way and avoid Benkei's attacks. "I need five minutes to charge my core to minimal power", he called out to the others.

Gigi had caught her returning boomerang again when Benkei shifted and dropped from her shoulder. “I’m better at long-range combat anyway, besides, I’ve got plenty of— damn, you’re a stubborn one, aren’t you.” She threw the boomerang, slicing several robots in half, before sidestepping Benkei and catching it in time to stab out the gut of a bot approaching from behind.

The girl backed up, back behind the shield of Agonius’s robots. “There’s no end to them,” she panted. “We need to get to the control room, and fast.” They were so close to the ship, Gigi could almost reach out and touch the metallic exoskeleton with the tip of her boomerang. So close, yet so far. “Let’s move it or lose it! Benkei, if you need to recharge, I can help you run, but right now, we gotta dash, otherwise we won’t make it in time! Go go go!”

Dorn didn't understand a word of what Agonius said, but when he noticed the enslaved robots weren't attacking him but were fighting his enemies, he upgraded his behavior to not actively trying to hit them. If they got in the way of his swinging, he smashed them without regret. Dorn, Gigi, Agonius, and Benkei fought furiously against the tide, but despite the righteous mayhem being inflicted, the robots kept on coming.

Dorn joined the others trying to push on to the control center, and led the charge, crushing robots with his bulk as well as his swings. The bulkhead was in sight, a blast door behind which the group's objective lay. Dorn actually knew where that was, if only because Mint had informed him of that much earlier. The door was certainly imposing, but breaching fortified positions was one of the actions he had been made for. He jabbed a finger towards it and roared, before booming out "I SMASH THAT!" In spite of the cuts and fresh scars on his flesh and battered armor, Dorn fought all the harder, a fresh dose of combat drugs adding more impetus to his efforts.

Deploying rebooter

Rather than using defensive tactic, Mint switched her strategy to an aggresive one. She planted a virus that threaten to shut down the system, not a good thing for both side since no power means the ship would fall, but the AI reacted the way Mint expected it to be. It deemed that the virus was more dangerous than what Mint was trying to do so it relocate its effort to clean the virus first and leave Mint alone for a while, enough time to finish unpacking the program.

The program in the disc finally took effect. One by one, the robots connected to the control room would be disabled. Stopped on their track, the robots marching in the corridor ended up clogging the way. Mint spoke through the speaker located throughout the airship.

Dorn peeled open the armored door to the control center with his hydraulically powered strength and brutal gauntlet making sport of the reinforced bulkhead. The robots outside had gone offline already, so it was no surprise to see more of the same inside. Dorn forced his way through the motionless throng as his Proto-nanite conducted field repair on his own injuries. He sent a congratulatory message to Mint on their link as he ducked into the oddly plain command center. With no UI, it was hard to tell it was a command center at all. "Would you please translate for me to the others?" He politely asked Mint on their link. After receiving her answer gave a congratulations to the rest of the team he pointed at Agonius with his gauntlet, and asked him if he would fly the ship now, his speech being much more coherent when Mint did the talking for him. As he stopped talking he sent Mint a simple "Thank you" for bearing with him and translating.

As Rex was about to slice through a robot, it stopped moving. All the robots stopped moving. It appeared to be Mint's doing. Rex sliced the robots anyway, to make sure they wouldn't go online again.
"Great job, Mint. Can you hide this thing from other airships? We need to get back undetected. And we don't know whether or not these robots have sent a message about an attack on here. It's most likely that they have, so we need to hide it somehow" he said. As he looked out the hallway, there were more offline robots that way. It meant they could take that way to the control center, though this time Mint would take the lead as there wasn't need for much cover this time.
"Daisy, go to the control center. It will probably take a little longer for me and Mint, but we'll be there soon" he said over the comms.

Daisy continued to monitor, but now she was monitoring the surrounding areas checking for any back up that might be on the way. She watched and stopped when she heard Rex over the comms, she stood up and went to jump over to the airship only making it half the distance as her left leg seized up, she quickly shot out her grappling hook and pulled herself forward landing neatly in front of the control centre, she then entered to find the rest of the team, she slumped into a nearby seat, rested her rifle against the wall and then began to do repairs on her leg.

"We finally did it!", benkei shouted, almost falling from the joy. "I'm going to go explore the ship, seeing as all the robots have been taken down", he exited the control centre and walked around the ship. It had the usual rooms, the charging docks, armory, repair room and a drop point. But then there was one room Benkei had no idea about. It was just empty apart from a vast metal door. It had multiple clamps and pistons? Out of pure curiosity benkei aimed one of his blasters at it, normal metal would melt under this heat but the door just parted the burst. "What is behind this door?", he asked himself. He picked up one of the guard's swords and pushed it into the door, the blade broke almost instantly. What is so important it needs a door like this? he thought. He spied for a vent, but found nothing. "If all else fails, just kick it down", benkei lifted both of his arms behind him and blasted at half power. He attempted to kick the door down, but the pistons pushed outwards throwing benkei face first into the door. Blood started to pour from above his eyebrow and he massaged his cheeks.

Mint

Mint looks rather tired. So she just sat on the floor as she translated Dorn's words and spread it through the comms. She pulled the cables out of her mouth and tied both ends to her horns.

"Stealth is Unlikely, this ship is not equipped for that and they already know about our attack through the Big Sister satellite. Our prefered course of action would be to get out of this coordinate as soon as possible before they send a nuker at us." From the depth of her backpack, Mint pulled a bottle of blue liquid and started gulping it. Ionized glucose, the special drink made for her to recharge both her organic and mechanical brain.

"Go to the other, they might need your help with something. I need to temporarily stationed here to clean up some remaining AIs and prevent any retake attempt."

Mint closed her eyes and switched her focus to her virtual consciousness inside the ship. She spoke through the speakers.

"To lighten the mood I will play this vintage music titled Elevator Vibe #1. Enjoy!" A calming and cheery music echoed throughout the ship. Enjoying music means enjoying life, enjoying life means being human. Therefore, only human enjoy music. At least that's what Mint was thinking as she plays the music and put it in a loop.

"Alright. But if there's the slightest indication of trouble, I want you to tell me about it and I'll send help immediately" Rex said as he began to walk out of the room and head towards the control room. On his way there, he saw one of the kids try to open a weird door. The door seemed to punch the kid in the face which almost made Rex crack a smile.
"What are you doing? You know there could be something dangerous behind that door! Why aren't you with the rest of the team? I thought I told you all that we would meet up in the control room. Come on now!" he said, sternly and started walking to the control room.

Agonius hung back as he gave everyone an opportunity to escape, and followed them soon enough after the robots were shut down. He used his glider and jetpack combination to quickly catch up, leaving his robot minions to follow along at a slower pace. He headed inside the control center and looked around, spotting a large console at the end of the room. This probably was the one that is used to control the ship. He approached the console as he listened to the voice of one of the Cyborgs speaking over the intercoms. It seems this ship was controlled by an AI, with only manual control being available as an emergency option. This gave Agonius an idea.

He turned around to his robot minions, who, slow as they might've been, had finally caught up to him. As all that was keeping them running was the TRC Energy, they were not connected to the control room anymore, having been turned from functioning robots to being just mere golems, husks of their former self, still capable of using the same firepower they could provide in their former function but lacking the durability.

Agonius held his wrench forward and started draining his lackeys of their energy, letting them all crumble into a pile of robot parts as soon as the energy left them again. As the last one dropped and gave up its energy, Agonius had performed his idea; turning around, he lifted his wrench up high and slammed it down onto the screen on the console. This shut down the system, along with the AI that was keeping the airship in the air. He immediately however used his wrench to re-charge the console again. It was reforming back to how it was, but the display had changed into a red colour instead. The AI, affected by the energy as the system was, had become Agonius' lackey. It kept the airship in the air, having not given it the moment to sink even a bit. Agonius just typed in the co-ordinates back to the base into the console, and let the AI do its thing.

He had turned back to the other Cyborgs and flipped his wrench around, resting the head on the ground and leaning on the bottom of the handle. " Problem solved. The ship is under my control, with my energy having put the console, system and the AI controlling the ship under my spell. I don't expect the ride back to take too long. If you are wondering why I had done this instead of just typing in the co-ordinates first, it's simple. Re-animated machines are not connected to any server, network or anything. Think of them like animated golems, or constructs. The only reason they move at all is because they are animated by the energy of the cores on me and my Wrench. This way, if there was a failsafe that could take back control from a remote location or something similiar, it won't work now. "

Dorn fired the locks on his gauntlet and let the over 100 pound piece of hardware clang on the floor. With his hands free, he began field stripping his gun and shook out his magazines, as if doing so would let him find some spare bullets. It didn't, but it was something to do.

He saw Daisy working on her damaged leg with tools. He stared for a moment, before coaxing his Proto-nanite out. The robot perched on his hand. Mint was busy so he had to get Daisy's attention with a deep grunt. He bit his hand hard enough to draw blood, and showed Daisy the Proto-nanite repairing his self harm. Then he poked the repair robot and pointed a large finger at her damaged leg, trying to pantomime offering his Proto-nanite helping her with her leg, since the words to articulate such a complex idea were not in his vocabulary.

Gigi relaxed slightly when the robots collapsed, and entered the ship along with the others. When Benkei immediately proceeded to run off, she shook her head in defeat. “Wait, you’re not at full— oh, forget it.” She sheathed her boomerang and walked cautiously through the hallways of the ship, more or less following Agonius.

The tinkling of elevator music seemed to be growing louder in the direction they were moving in. Confused at first, Gigi broke into a smile when she realized it was just Mint playing the music, as if to celebrate the victory. She was somewhat tired, but pretty much unharmed, as she’d been designed for nonstop combat for days at a time, well-balanced between offense and defense. Still, she had a few minor injuries, though they weren’t anything that couldn’t be fixed by one of Sir Pasta Topping’s “miracle syringes” designed for her body type.

Sure she’d most likely get in the way if she tried to help, due to her more ruthless-killer-esque design as opposed to computer-genius-programmer-type, Gigi leaned against a bulkhead and waited for orders.

Daisy turned to Dorm and politely shook her head, "no thank you Dorn, I prefer to do my repairs manually" she said as she pulled out a tool kit from a pocket in her outfit. She then set to work giving herself a quick once over before beginning work on her busted leg, it wasn't too hard for her to fix considering that it was just a split tube and a few damaged wires, she set to refusing the wires and managed to repair the tube so that fuel returned to her entire leg. She then patched over the hole with a piece of scrap metal and the lent back in her chair, "despite how Rex acted towards them the kids seemed to do quite well, she smiled to herself and the turned her attention to her rifle, she picked it up and began to check it for any damages and other than a few scratches and dents it was still in great condition.

Ren was late to the party. Normally this wouldn’t have been a problem for him as he put no importance in punctuality. Today however, he found his late arrival inexcusable.

“Doctor Eliza, are you sure Daisy is on this raid?” Ren sent a thought out through his cerebral communicator as the massive ship entered the range of normal human eyesight. His propulsion system was firing at a high rate, adding extra force to propel him higher into the air, the wind currents tugging on him from all sides.

“Yes, she was confirmed for this assignment, but why do you care?” The familiar female voice rang through his mind.

“Seriously? This was her what, 49th raid? She’s going to be ahead of me by one!” Using the interface In his eyes to scan the ship his fears were confirmed. The ship looked like a total ghost town, with no movement visible other than a few figures with heat signatures. Robots laid out in scrap piles abounded, and the walls riddled with bullet holes and other wreckage. The battle was over, and the terrible elevator music only further pointed that fact out.

“Doctor, I would have been on time if you hadn’t insisted another system inspection literal seconds before the raid began. I’m holding you personally liable.”

A female laugh rang through his head. “Fair enough Mr. Anthos, I’ll try to make it up to you later I swear. Logging out now.”

Frustrations aside, he began his descent. Aiming for the infrared clump of figures, he navigated his way down, swinging his legs in front of him to slow his momentum and ease his landing, the force sending dust from the floor into the air until both his talon like feet rested on the ship’s floor. Casually, he walked into the control room as if he had been in the raid the entire time, grabbed a chair adjacent to Daisy, and leaned back wings unfurled.

Daisy just finished her repairs when she saw Ren enter the control room, he walked over and sat near her, she smiled wisely and turned to face him placing her elbows on the arm of his chair and resting her chin on her hands, "soooooo..Ren, you over sleep or something, what time do you call this bird boy" she said desperately trying to stop herself from laughing.

Ren’s eyebrows playfully furled up in a fake frustration though he refused to look at the woman who he knew would be on the border of cracking up. “Please, I was here the whole time! You just couldn’t see me because your face was buried in your scope again.” Turning to meet her eyes she was indeed close to breaking. “As for that dang nickname you insist upon using, you spend your life in a ‘sniper’s nest’ so what does that make you my dear friend?” He said as he folded his arms in fake irritation.

Benkei shuffled out of the room embarrassed at being beaten up by a wall. "Aye Aye Captain", he smirked as he walked to the control room. Who's new boy here? he thought looking at Ren. "Wait so you've been here the entire time? Did you see when I did that big boom thing, Dorn was like swoosh, and I was like pew pew boom and the ship went flop, it was just amazing. Dorn was awesome you should've seen him take out robots" Benkei was starting to sound like toddler. "How did it go for you guys?" he asked everyone else.

Daisy gave a mock look of shock horror "are you insinuating that I am in fact more of a bird than yourself" she said before finally cracking up and giggling uncontrollably "ok, ok, so the sniper's best thing was good but seriously Ren, what happened, I know you don't particularly care for being on time but if I'm correct doesn't this raid mean I'm ahead of you now" she said with a jokey fake innocent look on her face as she wiped her eyes from the giggling.

Dorn wasn't sure what most of the words Daisy used meant, but he understood "No" and her tone told him she wasn't rebuking him, so he took no offense. The proto-nanite stored itself, and he put his brutish gun back together before snapping his gauntlet back on.

As a newcomer came in, Dorn reflexively surged to his feet, an unfamiliar individual could be an enemy. But he quickly realized that was not the case, and sniffed the air, finding some traces of the new cyborg's scent. He grunted and sank back to a squat, his armor making it difficult to actually sit down. He stared at Ren, intent on observing, until Benkei came in. Dorn didn't know what he was saying either, although he heard his name and grinned anyway, even though Benkei could've been saying how bad Dorn smelled for all the big brute knew. But he just grunted "Ank oo!" To his new friend.

Rex continued to the control room and saw Ren there. Had he also been scheduled to take part in this raid? Rex just gave him a nod of acknowledgement and looked across the room. Agonius was piloting the airship as they had planned, Daisy was fixing her sniper, Benkei and Dorn was acting goofy and Gigi was resting, you could say.
"Mint stayed behind to finish off the rest of the AIs. Good job, team. Including you 2" he said and gestured to Gigi and Benkei, though he gave Benkei a warning look for the door incident. He didn't want anyone disobeying orders. He sat down on a chair.
"At ease, little girl. Daisy, where's the kid you had along with you?" he said.
