if somebody loses to the gym, remember how in the anime they would still give the badge sometimes it's like what-
also, I would enjoy being a late-game temporary companion or something . 3.

This character could also be a temporary companion. I feel like she'd be great as a part of the main group.

Name
: Mia Mallux
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance: Mia has long pink hair and bright blue eyes, and stands at a diminutive height of 5'3. She usually wears a light pink tank top and white frilly skirt, both adorned with bows everywhere. She wears white ballet flats, and a pendant on her neck containing a polished piece of rose quartz.
Personality: Mia's so cutesy and sweet, it's almost creepy. She loves all things girly and cute. She's always happy, and kind to all - unless you make her angry. She can go from zero to psycho in 0.5 seconds, so watch your step. She takes battling seriously, and is renowned for using out-of-the-box tactics.
Backstory: Nothing, really. She became a Gym Leader because of her astounding strategic abilities.
Gym Type: Fairy
Gym Number: 4th.
Gym Badge: Her badge is called the Pixie Badge. It's a pink circle, decorated with pink and purple rhinestones along the border. It has a four-pointed star engraved in the center.
Gym Description: To navigate through the gym, you have to move through an airborne obstacle course. Mia's Zorua will create illusions, in an attempt to hinder you. If you fall, you'll fall into a pit with a very soft surface at the bottom - enough to completely break your fall. There will also be Fairy-type Pokemon scattered around the gym, causing mischief. The entire gym has a quirky and cute air about it, with lots of mischief and magic.
Gym Team:
Sylveon (Female, Partner Pokemon)
Clefable (Female)
Mimikyu (Female)
Whimsicott (Female)

Personal Team: Her Sylveon and Whimsicott, as well as a female Misdreavus and male Zorua.
RP Sample:
Mia giggled excitedly. She'd heard that there were challengers coming to her gym, and began devising tactics with her Sylveon.
"Okay, so what are we gonna do? Maybe you could try using a combination of your ribbons and Fairy Wind, to trap the opponent Pokemon?"
Sylveon looked a bit skeptical. "Syl-syl.."
Mia tilted her head. "Maybe not.. okay, how's your Attract doing? Have you been able to master it yet?"
The Pokemon nodded. "Veon!"
Mia smiled. "That's great, Sylveon! You can use that in the battle too!"

Ok and yeah I was thinking the same thing. They would lose but they would prove themselves So I would still give up the badge and train with them on their journey.

@Slatzsly I have to ask you to edit your form to add more scene description to your RP sample. I don't mind a bug-type gym as the 7th or the 7th gym leader having strong Pokémon on their personal team. I only mind one-liners.

@Dubkip_Playz You've already done an acceptable RP sample (which only exists to give me an idea of how you write), and I'll accept this character. It should take some time to get to the third gym, so I'll wait to see what that looks like. You can even send that information to me as a PM if you want.

All three challengers are going to fight each gym and there are multiple badges to give out. Just keep in mind that it won't be like the anime; you must defeat the gym in order to get a badge. For some gyms, that might take a few tries! (Thankfully, these three are the only ones challenging the gyms right now, so gym leaders are free to leave once the three have proven their mettle.)

@EeviumZ Your gym leader application has been accepted.

After the edit, your form is just right for me to accept. I'll add you to the first post!

All we need now are the second and eighth gym leaders. That's pretty cool.

Alright gym writing time, but first. Since I want to get in when it begins how about after the first gym the challengers get attacked by team voice. Me and some other bystanders step in to help. After that I decide to journey with one of them until the third gym.

Gym Type: Fighting
Gym Number: 3
Gym Badge: Macho Badge (A silver fist surrounded by a blue flame symbolizing aura for Lucario).
Gym Description: To get to the gym leader you have to prove that you also have brains, you have to answer questions (Harder then previous gyms) If you answer wrong you have to face a gym trainer. But right before the gym battle you’ll face the strongest gym trainer, he says before you go in you have to be proven worthy. So he fights to prove your friendship with your partner Pokémon.
After you beat him you Exeter a dojo style room with the gym leader sitting in the middle.
Gym Team:
Lucario (Partner Pokémon)
Heracross
Breloom
Primeape
Personal Team:
Lucario (Partner Pokémon)
Quilava
Staraptor
Heracross
Sceptile

I hoped this helped! :)

Since I already have a gym leader character, I would rather have my 3rd be a Elite four member.

I have an OC in mind...but they’re a grass type specialist. Is grass too weak of a type to have an E4 member specialize in?

What if before the leagues instead of elite four. We had gym rebate with their personal teams and a lot stronger? Also when are we going to start the RP? Just wondering.

Since nobody got charmander grass should be challenging
Eevee is getting a fire-type move in Pewter City, actually. I've spoken with EeviumZ about it already.

@Condor I'd still like to see a grass-type Elite Four member anyway. There are some really good grass types out there.

@Dubkip_Playz I have something special planned for the Elite Four. Eight badges aren't going to be enough to get in, which... gives me time to stall wrt getting E4 RPers. There will be a tournament where only the top 3 are going to be able to challenge the E4, which will include the gym leaders (who will be using their personal teams). The protagonists might all get in to challenge the E4... or they might not. ;)

Also, as an aside to everyone, I am talking about the first Team Void encounter privately with Condor. I won't be discussing anything about any plans for Team Void on this thread.

@Dubkip_Playz If you'd like Dubkip to meet the challengers around the first gym, I'd suggest that he should be there to talk to Hana before they challenge the first gym. He could be worried about Team Void attacking, because of the stolen Charmander and some stolen fossils from Mt. Moon. I feel coming to warn someone about potential danger fits in line with a wannabe cop.

Name: Rya Willow
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance: Rya is fairly tall and has an athletic build. Her hair is long, reaching to her elbows, and it is a deep, pinkish red (sort of like a rose red). She always ties it in a ponytail while on duty. She wears a green tank top, and tan shorts, just something easy to move in.
Personality: Rya is always on the go, training, hiking or batting, she is perpetually moving forward, all with a confident and positive attitude. But, she is by no means easily distracted, once she commits to a goal, she’ll work day and night to achieve it. This lends to her stubborn tendencies, Rya can’t stand being told no and has a hard time sitting idly by while there is work to be done. She has a deep sense of justice, and will stand up for herself or others if she thinks they need it.
Backstory: Rya is the daughter of a Pokémon scientist from another region. She went on her Pokémon journey with Treeko and became a successful trainer, while still remaining at her father’s lab as a day job. She plans to take over his position when he retires, but now is more focused on honing her skills and investigating the suspicious events that are occuring in Kanto...
Type Specialty: Grass
Pokémon Team:
Ferrothorn—> Iron Barbs
Cradily —> Suction Cups
Trevenant —> Natural Cure
Exeggutor —> Chlorophyll
Sceptile —> Overgrow

Done! Tell me if there’s anything I need to add.

Would you mind if I edited Rowan’s personal team to be higher leveled? Now that I know about the tournament, I can tell his personal team is not ready to face off against trainers with 8 badges.

Gym Leader:

Name: Lizzie Shardin
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Lizzie has short, light-blue hair with earmuffs and a red parka. She has tan skin (ironically) because of the Cinnabar Island sun. When not in the gym, she wears dark green shorts and a purple T-shirt. She has green eyes, and not the icy blue that most expect an Ice-type gym leader to have.
Personality: Lizzie is always cheerful and manages to brighten her family's whole house but is also equally annoyingly outgoing. Her family is used to this, though, and chuckles because at her worst she can make you leave the room and stay out until she's gone. Se is forgetful, and that is usually her downfall in gym battles and otherwise, from forgetting that her Pokemon had a super-effective move to not noticing she has her parka on outside in the hot sun.
Backstory: Lizzie comes from Kalos but moved to Kanto to do research on Mega Evolution, though she's never used it.
Gym Type: Ice
Gym Number: 8 (You didn't say that locations had to stay the same, and I think I could fool the characters into prepping for a Fire-type gym and instead find an Ice-type gym.)
Gym Badge: The Aurora Badge has Suicune's crest (Thing on its head made of ice) with blue-and-white ribbons wrapped around it.
TM: Blizzard
Gym Description: The new Cinnabar City Gym is one room with an ice rink and the battle goes on right away in it but the floor is cracked and there is water underneath it. The ice will crack and float around and the puzzle is to find the switch to drain the water while battling with Lizzie. It is very cold in the gym, as well.
Gym Team: Frosslass, Weavile, Vanilluxe, Aurorus
Personal Team: Poygon2, Kingdra

Void Admin:

Name:
Furīzuhāto "Furi" Phantom.
Gender: Female
Age: 13 (12 if possible, I want to try a younger character.)
Appearance: Furi has brown, braided hair and when not in her uniform has a plain yellow T-shirt with an Alomomola print on it and black shorts. She sometimes smears them with dirt and fake stains to get pity from people. Her uniform is black with white splatters on it, and she wears a white fedora.
Personality: Furi loves to prank people and play practical jokes of all kinds, but she barely ever shows it in Team Void. When she's on the job, she has a terrible bad side and can punish people with her Ghost-types in horrible ways. If you get on her good side, she'll probably prank you.
Backstory: Furi grew up in a normal family, but her family was attacked by a Hypno and taken away when she turned 10. Struggling to survive, she sided with Ghost-types, knowing they were very strong against the Psychic-types that took her family. This is also how she developed her bad side. At 11, Team Void took her in and cared for her until she beat an admin and took their place. She also keeps with her a Pokemon that grew with her and was her first, though she isn't a Ghost-type. Bebe started as a Flabébé and has evolved since into a Florges.
Pokémon Team: Banette, Trevenant, Shedinja, Bebe (Florges [White Flower, this is why she has white splashes in her uniform.])

RP Sample
:
Lizzie waved to the new challenger that had entered the gym energetically and introduced herself. "Hi! I'm Lizzie, the Cinnabar Island Gym Leader! Send your Pokemon out into the ice rink to begin the challenge!" The Ice-type gym leader waited for him to send out his first Pokemon. He looked a little off-guard at the fact that the gym was not Fire-type but Ice-type and sent out a Poliwrath. Lizzie smirked. She had seen this before, people thought that the gym leader replacement for Blaine would carry on his legacy and be Fire-type. She sent out Vanilluxe, who hovered above the battlefield. Right on cue, the Poliwrath started to float up with the floor and the Vanilluxe giggled as his Snow Warning ability activated and hail started to pelt both Pokemon. The floor then started to crack, revealing the water below. "This is the puzzle! Find the switch to turn this off while battling me!"

This sounds like fun!

Name: Luma Christianson
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Luma has long black hair and bangs, she shares Archer’s tan skin and golden eyes. She’s a little short for her age (about 5’5). She wears a black trench coat that goes down just above her knees and high heeled black books.
Personality: Luma is a bit elitist, she has no tolerance for the weak and will not spare them. She is extremely intelligent and uses it to completely analyze and tear down her opponents strategy. She is not afraid to use unconventional tactics in battle if it means she will win.
Backstory: Luma could very well be the smartest person alive. She completed her schooling through high school by age 7 and was done with her gym challenge by age 11. Since then she has traveled the world and made money competing in Pokemon tournaments. Her natural genius allows her to out maneuver her opponents and win the vast majority of her battles, only falling to a few specific opponents. She was offered a position in the Hoenn elite four but turned them down because she wanted freedom with her time and to be closer to home. She took the job offer to be the final member of the Kanto elite four when she was promised an impressive salary and a flexible schedule. The strongest trainers in the world, including other elite four members and some champions, fear her power, largely due to the 57-9 battle record she boasts in official tournaments (with her loses coming from the same few people). It is widely believes that she simply chooses elite four challengers she sees potential in and holds back, rather than genuinely losing any battles.
Type: Dark
Order in Elite 4: 4th and final room
Room Description: The room is designed to weed out those who are faint of heart. Upon entering the challenger is told by a mysterious to venture on forward in a straight line alone, as a door opens in front of them that leads into darkness. The passage is deafeningly silent, trainers are forced to wander through absolute darkness while Malamar torments them, telling them to turn back and that they are not worthy of challenging Luma, also using its mind reading abilities to attack their biggest insecurities and expose their greatest fears. After walking for a long distance without straying they will reach an old candle above a stone tablet that says “Welcome to the Abyss, only the brave will venture into darkness.” Looking forward, challengers will see a seemingly endless hole, and to their right a door with light behind it. If they chose the door they are escorted out of the gym. Upon jumping into the hole, challengers will fall for what seems like minutes, then land in inky black water. Luminion and Finneon will appear and pull them to shore, where they will see Luma sitting on a black and gold throne on the opposite end of a black candle lit pokemon battle field. She will then descend and praise the challenger on their courage before challenging them to a battle. Throughout the battle Malamar will continue to torment them, continuing to test their mental strength.
Elite Four Team: Umbreon, Mightyena, Zoroark, Liepard, Absol, Venusaur (her ace and starter Pokémon)
Personal Team: This is the team she used on her own Pokémon journey. Venusaur, Umbreon, Rapidash, Milotic, Mawile, Abomasnow

Dubkip, if you don't mind talking to my gym leader before you talk to the trio, then yes. I don't mind writing their interaction before the protagonists get to Pewter. You can make an Elite Four member too if you want.

Condor, it'd be fine if Rowan's personal team grows as the adventure goes on, or if you edit them now. Either way to go about it is fine.

@Altari_owl I like that the Cinnabar Island gym leader is ice-type, especially because I put the ice-type move that Allie's Eevee is going to learn on Cinnabar. It's coincidentally fitting!
I love Furi's name. I love these characters. I'll be adding you to the RP as well as the private conversation for Team Void related planning.

May I have Lillie maybe come with the trainers as a companion like Clemont did and then kind of go "Surprise, I have a gym!"

Name: Sarah Blackwell
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: She is short at around 5'3. Sarah has dark purple hair that fades to pink at the ends. She has a very beautiful face. Her eyes are one thing that seems to draw someone in. They are an bright green. They are darker around the edges. She tends to wear a bit of make up. It consits of black smokey eyes and dark red lips. She tends to wear black ripped skinny jeans, a guns and roses band tee in purple, and black combat boots. Though when she in her gym she wears a black form fitting dress that has a lace overlay. It comes to about her knees and have three quarter sleeves. She tends to pair it with a dark purple high heels.
Personality: She is very kind. She loves to help other. Though she does have a temper when she gets mad at something. She loves to spend her time photographing pokemon and drawing them as well. She would love to go out and see the Kanto region.
Backstory: She was the daughter of the last gym leader. She spent most of her time studing to be just like her dad. He treated her well enough though he awlays pushed her to follow in his footsteps. She hated it. Sarah would rather be out an exploring the region. Especially since new pokemon have come to Kanto.
Gym Type: Water
Gym Number: 2
Gym Badge: The river badge. It seems to flow like a river in a diagonal direction up to the right. It is a light blue that shines when light hits it. It reflects the rainbow when it is turned towards the light.
Gym Description: It is very open. There is a large pool that has stepping stones that the trainers have to cross. They will face two other trainers along the way to Sarah. Sarah can been seen at the end with a table and chair. She will be waiting for the gym challengers to come to her. She has a pad and pen in hand. She will be drawing and waiting.
Gym Team: Vaporeon, Staru, and Starmie
Personal Team: Umbreon, Shiny Buneary, feebas, and Litten. She also has an egg from her friend in Johto. It will contain a Togepi that will not be apart of her team just a pokemon that she carries with her.
RP Sample:
"Hey dad it is nice to see you. Have you come to check up on me?" Sarah was in her gym she had spent her time there drawing. On her page was the pokemon of the last challenger she had. It showed a boy with bright blue eyes in a running pose. He was in mid jump off a platform. He had a bulbasaur following him.

Mr. Blackwell was a stren no nonsense type of person he wanted to be in control of everything. That included his daughter. "Well I came to tell you about what I have learned of the Team Void. It seems they have taken a pokemon from the professor. It was one the starters for the new trainers." Sarah was shocked. She did not know what to think of the news. She needed to let the others know. "Well dad I am going to go and inform the others of this. Do you mind watching the gym for me. I will be back as soon as I can."

If there is anything I need to change let me know. I hope this is what you were looking for.
