Private/Closed Journey in Galar! (Roleplay)

Mudd continued to pluck at Jacks' tail but reluctantly got off. She joined Kia. "Wish me luck!" Kia realised that she had kept Ikari in her bag. It was to late to change. Kia had no problem with the challenge, watching pretty much every person to ever compete in the gym. She approached Nessa. She pulled out her pokeball, instantly giving away the fact that she wasn't using Mudd. She sent out Uma. Nessa sent out Goldeen. "Let's end this nice and quickly. Agility to dodge any attacks she sends at you, then a couple of Confu- Psybeams!" Uma dodged all of Goldeen's attacks, then used Psybeam multiple times. Goldeen fainted. Nessa proceeded to send out her Arrokuda. "Do the same thing." Uma dodged some of Arrokuda's attacks, but fainted to a couple of Aqua Jets. "Oh." Kia moved her hand to Mudd, but Ikari jumped out of her bag. However, there was something different about her. She was a Leafeon! "Hey, I wasn't planning on using that Leaf Stone on you! I guess it works out though." Kia scanned Ikari's moves. "Ok, I can work with this. Razor Leaf!" Ikari obeyed and took out Goldeen. Both Nessa and Kia returned their pokemon, for a Dynamax. "Let's not give them a chance, Max Overgrowth!" Kia flung her hand up. Drednaw was easily taken down. As Ikari was shrunken back down to size, Kia noticed that it was much smaller than it stated in the pokedex. Kia left the field and returned to the lobby.

Alex look at a picture of Frosmoth online. "Huh, a Snom? You seem to be a boy so...maybe Snowflake since Snom are fragile? Or Flake for short!" She named the Snom. Flake seemed happy with his name, as he, Blaze, Astral and Rose were returned to their Pokeballs. "Good luck Kia!" She said before joining Salasa on the stands and resending her Pokemon.

Salasa grinned, eagerly watching the match...the little Toxel yawned, waking up as he watched the new Leafeon come out. Salasa cheered at the win, and went down to the lobby to congratulate Kia. Scruff seemed to have enjoyed the battle as well. He put Scruff down to take off his gloves, and handed them both to Kia. “Here...I wanna go next. Is that alright?”

Alex cheered as Kia won, and went down to the lobby with Salasa to congratulate her on her victory as well. "Sure, it's fine, good luck!" She said to Salasa. She returned to the stands and sent out her team. Flake and Astral looked around, both slightly in awe at the massive building. Blaze was raring to go, excited for the gym battle. "Sorry Blaze, but you're going have to sit out this out, Water won't go well with you." She said as Blaze got a little sad. Rose, meanwhile took this chance to gloat and was trying, and succeeded, to make Blaze even more annoyed.

"Yeah, Salasa is going to start the Challenge." Alex responded to Jake, smiling back. Blaze drifted off to sleep next to Alex, as Frost and Astral were cheering for Salasa while he was completing the Gym Challenge. Rose was perfecting her Razor Leaf pirouettes, as per usual. Alex was looking up where to go in Galar, and the internet said something about a Galar Mine No.2. "How creative," She thought while looking up more of Galar.

After arriving in Wedgehurst via several flying Pokemon and sending them back home, Shade made her way towards Professor Magnolia's lab in Postwick. She arrived, only to find the lab dark and the doors were locked. Then again, it was 4 in the morning. She was likely not to be around until 6 or maybe 8 if the professor valued her sleep. Due to this setback, Shade finally left Postwick and set her sights on Slumbering Weald. It seemed like the place to be and to collect some data. She sent her Alolan Raichu out of her Poke Ball, to which the surfing mouse squeaked happily. She was a little angry at Shade for putting her in there, but she knew why.

While Shade stood near the entrance and got her information pad ready and calibrated for scanning and other such things, Chu was happily staring at the sights around her. This place was beautiful and she had never seen anything like this before. The Slumbering Weald held so many new scents and she could hear so many different creatures, some she recognized while some she didn't. It felt great to be alive at this very moment.

Chu looked over to Shade, watching her press buttons on her hologram screen before getting bored and wanting to explore. Shade began to smell pancakes and chuckled when she could hear the crackling of electricity coming from her Pokemon. "Give me a second, silly. One more calibration test and we are done."

Chu sighed before settling down near a tree. That was when a peculiar Pokemon showed up. A strange caterpillar thing that looked like it was wearing glasses with how dark the rims around its eyes were. It was blue on the top half and yellow on the bottom half of its body. Chu squeaked over to her trainer, who looked up at the creature and smiled. "Well, hello there, little guy. Can you hold still for me for one second?" she asked while pointing the hologram's scanner towards the bug. A quick diagnostic was checked on the bug, detailing its name, type, average height and weight, what it evolves into (if it can) and how, the possible Abilities in their species and the general description of their Abilities, and some general description of its behaviors and other such things.

Interesting. Blipbug? It had Telepathy as a possible Ability too, which meant that it could possibly evolve into a Psychic-Type. Wanting to have it on her team, she asked the little guy if it was okay to take him along. The Blipbug looked almost uncertain, but finally decided on a yes. Excited, Shade pulled out a Net Ball and caught the little guy in a flash of blue. Now, that she had a new Pokemon, it was time to travel around Slumbering Weald.

As she entered, she was greeted with so many Pokemon. Some she knew, others she had never seen before. Her datapad was going wild with entries, to which she scanned everyone.

After making her way through Slumbering Weald, she found a large gravesite. In awe at its serene beauty and ominous aura she took a moment of silence before it as she knelt down in front of it.

After paying homage to whoever was under this earth, she got up and silently left the Slumbering Weald. While she was taking a break in Route 1, she felt something trying to dig into her satchel as she was resting, as it was still attached to her. Peeking inside, she saw a red fox Pokemon trying to steal something. She just raised an eyebrow and used a PokeBall to capture it. Caught off guard, it didn't pose a struggle. Then while she was moving through Wedgehurst to get to Route 2, someone was giving out Slowpoke Tails. Wondering why someone was selling such a highly illegal item, she peeked around their supposed caravan and saw a Galarian Slowpoke. Wondering where this little guy came from, she offered to get it away from there. The Galarian Slowpoke, despite being slow, didn't think too long and went along with Shade. The little guy allowed her to take the PokeBall it was residing in and was absorbed in. Funny enough, her datapad didn't have any information on this type of Slowpoke. Then, Shade left the little crowd of onlookers for the sale of Pokemon tails, her trench coat billowing in the little breeze as she walked towards Route 2.

As she moved through Route 2 to get the last of her data filled, she found a Galarian Zigzagoon. Looking over its entry, it was a part Dark-Type. Needing this for her collection of Dark-Types, she threw a PokeBall at it while it was unsuspecting her advance. As the PokeBall landed, the Zigzagoon was caught by surprise and it didn't struggle while in the ball and it was caught almost immediately. That was weird. That must have been that rare critical capture she had heard about.

She then came back to Wedgehurst and went to the train station. After leaving on a train to go to the Meetup Spot, she left for the Wild Area. Which she had spent most of her time studying the Power Spots and the Pokemon who lived there.

It's capable of flying faster than 120 mph. It battles alongside Dreepy and dotes on them until they successfully evolve. Without a Dreepy to place on its head and care for, it gets so uneasy it'll try to substitute any Pokemon it finds for the missing Dreepy.

After being here for more than a year, she was able to catch and find many Pokemon. She didn't go into any of the Power Dens, but she did travel all throughout the Wild Area, being able to see many kinds of Pokemon through all the different weather changes. Her new additions include Mime Jr., Galarian Corsola, Hatenna, Impidimp, male and female Indeedee, Morpeko, and Dreepy, along with her Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Zigzagoon, Blipbug, and Nickit. Shade had spent some time training her new catches off and on before moving on from West Lake Axewell to Motostoke. Her Pokemon had evolved during this training session. Well, the ones that could evolve quicker. Her Galarian Zigzagoon, Blipbug, and Nickit had evolved into Galarian Linoone, Dottler, and Thievul, respectively. She passed through quickly, trying to get to Turffield to fight the gym by going through Route 3, the Galar Mine, and Route 4.

She entered Tuffield Stadium to see that someone was expecting a newcomer to challenge Milo. Wanting to see what this was like, she talked with the official and set herself towards her first Gym Mission.

As she walked into the large green dome and walked down the steps and traveled through the zigzag green and brown path towards the large clearing up ahead, she could see there were Wooloo ahead, with a large pile of hay in bales at the end of one section. She walked up and this was explained to her. Get all 20 Wooloo at the hay and do this for all four sections. Yampers and trainers after the first section will try to stop her. After getting all the Wooloo to the end, she can battle Milo.

With all that in mind, she pulled out her Galarian Linoone and Thievul. Running alongside her, they aided in getting the Wooloo bunched up and heading straight for the bales of hay. When the Wooloo bashed through it, Shade heard barking. She looked ahead and saw a Yamper trying to intercept their course. It was coming from the left. Shade told her Galarian Linoone to stop the Yamper from proceeding. Then she heard a human to her right. Looking over, the trainer had out a Gossifleur. She commanded her Thievul to use Fire Fang, to which he charged at the Gossifleur with fangs enveloped in flames. The slow Flowering Pokemon shrieked in fear before it was chomped by the oncoming Fire Fang. Meanwhile, the Galarian Linoone was chasing the Yamper around in a circle. This led Shade to chase the Wooloo towards the other side of the section.

With the Wooloo smashing through the barricade of hay, she and the bunched up Wooloo kept going. There was now two hedges, separating the section into three passageways that merge up ahead. The Yamper was heading down the middle of the passageways. Shade commanded her Thievul to go on ahead and intercept the Yamper, which also pushed the Wooloo towards the left passageway, completely missing the Yamper. The Yamper barked courageously against the Thievul, but immediately cowered away as the Thievul chased after it. While Shade and her Galarian Linoone ran through this passageway, she could hear a trainer up ahead. This trainer had out a Budew and an Oddish. Shade told her Galarian Linoone to use Ice Beam. Her Linoone rushed ahead of the Wooloo as fast as he could and then formed a cryosphere on its mouth. He then expelled this in a beam, sideswiping it so it hit both Budew and Oddish. The trainer squealed and returned his Pokemon and got out of the way from the rolling Wooloo. The Galarian Linoone waited for Shade to catch up and the Wooloo was directed towards the right. Thievul came up from the middle passageway and redirected them towards the now higher stack of hay bales.

Now, it was the last section. There are three hedges in differing shapes, two Yampers, and a trainer with a Bounsweet and Oddish out. This was going to get tricky. Shade sent her Galarian Linoone towards the female Gym Trainer, who was hiding behind some hedges towards the right. Meanwhile, Thievul occupied both Yampers by chasing them around the area, trying to keep them busy while Shade guided the Wooloo to the end. She was starting to get excited, until some Razor Leaves came from her right and scared the Wooloo towards another area as they took a sharp left. Having to pause, she looked over to see the Galarian Linoone using Ice Beam again on the Bounsweet and Oddish, but this trainer was a little more dangerous. Eventually, her Galarian Linoone knocked them both out while Thievul got the Yampers cornered. The Galarian Linoone joined up with Shade as she hurried to redirect the Wooloo back on course. A few moments later and they bashed through the tallest barricade of hay bales Shade had ever seen. They then split evenly towards two pens on either side and the gates closed behind them.

Now that was done and she had completed the challenge, she walked up the stairs after returning her two helpers and got ready to challenge Milo.

She walked through the dark corridor and out into the suddenly loud and bright field, where people were chanting and screaming and hollering. Milo had appeared as Shade made her way towards the battlefield, waving at the onlookers. She looked ahead and saw what she could describe as the most farmhand-looking man she had ever seen.

She sent out her Dottler, who just kind of sat there silently with no movement. She knew this creature was more defense-oriented, so she was going to make it nearly impossible for his Pokemon to defeat Dottler. As he sent out his Gossifleur, she commanded her Pokemon to use Supersonic and Sticky Web. A sound emanated from the Radome Pokemon as he also sent out some highly sticky webbing. It landed on top of the Gossifleur, and since it was so slow, the Supersonic hit the Pokemon. While the Gossifleur attempted to use Rapid Spin, Dottler had already swapped itself out with its Substitute and began to use Calm Mind and Iron Defense. He sat there, calming himself and clearing his mind and hardening his body until he couldn't anymore. When the Dottler got done, the Gossifleur managed to get rid of its Sticky Web, snap out of its confusion, and destroyed the substitute. That was when the little Dottler used Confusion. Despite this Psychic-Type attack was weaker than most Psychic-Type attacks, the clearing of its own mind allowed this little bug to almost knock out Gossifleur with a buffed up telekinetic pulse that was now capable of giving migraines. Then the little Dottler used Infestation, calling forth energy-like bugs as they crawled all around the Gossifleur and bit the poor thing. It was knocked out.

Milo returned his Gossifleur and threw out his Eldegoss. Shade saw that Dottler was still raring to fight. She had him use Recover, to which he healed himself from the damage taken from making the Substitute. Then Milo returned Eldegoss again. But his Dynamax band was growing and the Ultra Ball containing his Eldegoss grew in size. He then threw it behind him, and a gigantic version of the Eldegoss is all that stood. Knowing that Dottler wasn't going to be able to do this like the way he is, Shade decided to see how she could dynamax. She looked at her band and pressed Wishing Star situated in the band. It was glowing and enveloped her hand in red aura. She returned her Dottler and watched the ball become huge in her hand. It was also pretty heavy. She then threw it behind her and her Dottler appeared, but was no the size of a lighthouse. Little clouds float above his dome-shaped body as he prepared to fight. The Eldegoss attacked first, using Max Flutterby. Butterflies of intense Bug-Type dynamax energy came out of Eldegoss's cotton fluff and went straight towards Dottler. Dottler used the same move. Butterflies were all over the place and they either smacked into each other with the power of mini TNTs or they found their way to their targets. Finally, enough of them finally found their targets and a large Bug-Type explosion happened on them both. It was super effective on both sides, but Dottler's Max Flutterby was stronger. The Dynamaxed Eldegoss used Max Guard when Dottler was going to use Max Mindstorm. Dottler's dots on his dome glowed bright colors before an intense psychic wave hit the energy-filled barrier protecting Eldegoss. Milo decided to have Eldegoss use Max Guard again, but it failed. The barrier only came up for a moment, but faltered away. Dottler used Max Mindstorm again. The same intense psychic wave of energy hit the Eldegoss so hard, a geyser of psychic energy from the pooling amount underneath Eldegoss sproud up to do more damage. Explosions happened as the Dynamax energy violently left Eldegoss's body and it shrunk back down to normal, knocked out. Dottler became normal again, and was left standing.
The crowd cheered in excitement and Shade walked up to Milo, Dottler in her arms, and she received her first badge in the Galar region: The Grass Badge. She left the stadium triumphant, glad she still got it in her to train new Pokemon.

After Shade had obtained the Grass Badge and defeated Milo, she hurried her way on over to Hulbury while training her Pokemon, by passing through the path she came to head towards Motostoke Outskirts and Galar Mine No. 2, so she could get to Hulbury.

As she made her way to Hulbury, she took a detour to explore Route 5, which was north of the city. After she did so and saw what she could, she traveled back to see people were battling Nessa already, as she could hear cheers happening inside the stadium. She walked into the stadium's bleacher section and watched the spectacle before her. It seemed she had no trouble beating Nessa. Someone was already standing up to go take the challenge. She decided to sit and be the last participant to battle Nessa. While she waited, she compiled all of her data in her datapad into a PDF and sent this info to her family back at home. She hoped they come and join her.

This was going to be fun.

TL;DR Shade started in Slumbering Weald checking out the Pokemon and the gravesite before leaving the area, traveling from Postwick to Wedgehurst and then to Route 2 before leaving and going to the Meetup Spot and going to the Wild Area. She spent a good year in the Wild Area before heading to Motostoke then to Turffield to try her hand at the Gym. After she beat the gym, she traveled to Hulbury to watch the battles before going in there herself. She had been researching and sending her research over to her family back at Kanto. She received a Dynamax Band and a Wishing Star from Professor Magnolia back in Postwick, but hasn't used it yet, except when battling Milo. Her Pokemon include Mime Jr., Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Corsola, Galarian Linoone, Dottler, Thievul, Hatenna, Impidimp, male and female Indeedee, Morpeko, and Dreepy.

"...."

Jake leaned over to Kia and Alex.

"I think Sonny might have stage fright," He whispered, motioning to the Scorbunny, who's shifting somewhat nervously as he looked around at the packed arena stands.

"He was quick to agree to not do the challenge with me..." he shrugged.

He blinked and looked down, and realized that his hand is on Alex's.

He blushes a tad and cleared his throat, as he sat back down in his seat

“Sally??” He bristled a bit, huffing as he went into the stadium. It took him a bit to complete the challenge. Scruff was getting antsy, squirming when Salasa wasn’t appearing on the pitch in a timely manner. However, he calmed right down when Salasa showed up. The battle began with Bundt and Goldeen. A few well placed Draining Kisses made Goldeen faint, with health to spare. Next came the Arrowkuda. It quickly started to pummel Bundt with Aqua Jet, so he had to think fast. He used Metronome, but got False Swipe...Arrowkuda took Bundt out with another Aqua Jet. Salasa then threw out Funky, who took care of Arrowkuda with Double Hit. Now came Drednaw...both trainers returned their Pokémon to Dynamax them. Drednaw moved first, sending a Max Geyser their way, making it rain...Funky used Max Strike, for some odd reason. A big pillar of light shone from below Drednaw, blasting it and making it slower...soon after that, Funky used Max Overgrowth, taking advantage of Drednaw’s slower speed. And it was done...Salasa won his Water Badge! He went back to the lobby...Scruff seemed totally amazed. He was making little roars, pretending to be a big Dynamax Pokemon.

Kia walked out of the stadium to meet up with Salasa. "I guess I should have expected you to win. Alright then, Alex, is it your turn." Kia looked at Alex, and tried to think of a nickname. She didn't have one so she stopped smirking. "Good Luck. Don't ruin our winning streak." Kia returned to their seats. She didn't know where to sit this time so she sat in a spare seat behind the group. She put her feet up, on whoever was in front of them.

He took back the excited Scruff, making sure to put on the gloves. “Thanks! Alright, good luck Alex!” He grinned, following Kia to sit back down where he had before...in front of Kia. He glared at her a bit, nudging her feet to try and get her to move, but didn’t really say anything. He was too busy taking care of Scruff.

Blaze woke up and punched Mudd back, annoyed that he couldn't battle and Rose's gloating."Guess Sonny's a little shy," Alex said before looking down. She slightly blushed before standing up quickly before she blushed even more and abruptly said: "Looks like its my turn!" she returned Rose and Astral and rushed down to the lobby. "Nice win, let's see if I can get another badge too!" Alex said to Salasa and Kia before rushing inside. She solved the puzzle with little to none problems, and the battle initiated.

Alex sent out Astral, and Nessa sent out her Goldeen. It went straight for a Water Pulse, but the Ralts teleported out of the way. "Alright Astral, use some Psybeams while dodging!" Alex commanded. The Ralts did as she was told, heart racing. This was her first actual battle, she's only fought wild Pokemon. Soon, Goldeen was defeated.

Nessa sent out Arrowkuda, and started off with Whirlpool, trapping Astral. This scared the Pokemon even more. "It'll be okay Astral, use Psybeam again!" Alex guided the Ralts. However, the Arrowkuda was faster, and used Aqua Jet. Astral took the hit, barely surviving, before starting to glow white. "Astral, you're evolving!" Alex cheered. Astral stopped glowing, and evolved into a Kirlia. "Now, finish it off with Psybeam!" The Kirlia used a strong Psybeam, however, the Arrowkuda used Aqua Jet, fainting both Pokemon.

Finally, Alex sent out Rose and Nessa sent out Dreadnaw. However, both Pokemon got returned to Dynamax. Rose used two quick Max Overgrowth as Dreadnaw used Max Rockfall, but it fainted. Alex thanked Nessa for the battle and got her Water Badge. She walked to the others in the stands. "Did it!" Alex said, showing her new Badge.

Kia didn't pay attention to Salasa's nudging, as she was messing around with Ikari. She pushed her feet even more when she saw Astral evolve. When Alex returned, Kia lifted Ikari onto her head, and gave a high five to Alex. She noticed her mother and father. Her mother gave Kia a fastball. Kia grinned from cheek to cheek, which wasn't fake. She turned around to the group, but immediately stopped grinning. She kicked at the floor and looked down. Her mother started talking. "How was it? Did you catch a new pokemon? It evolved? Where's your egg? What are your friends' names? Are you going to ignore-" Kia walked past her mother and hugged her dad. "I know Baddy was originally yours, but it was a pretty bad name... can I change it?" Her father nodded and Kia let out a Galarian Corsola. "Right then, let's see your personality." She held out her hand and the Corsola got on it. It crawled all the way to her shoulder, but Ikari jumped down and growled. The Corsola pushed and turned away. "Jump if your male." It stayed still. "I'll call you... Sasai." Sasai twirled, then hopped into Kia's bag. Ikari stopped growling and jumped onto Kia's head.

He winced at the feeling of being pushed, but also got distracted by the Evolution. Scruff smiled at the sight of the Dynamax Pokémon, starting to roar and stomp around, acting like Rose sending the Max Overgrowths. Salasa hurried down with Kia and Jake. “Wow...amazing! We’re all doing really well...I’ve got high hopes for Kabu’s gym!”

Shade saw several battles become successful as they beat Nessa. Even though this is literally the second gym, Shade couldn't help but feel like this was too easy. She left the stands to get to the lobby, to see a congregation of the recent winners and their friends. Smiling, she approached them, her trench coat billowing behind her. She gave off the vibe of a veteran trainer.

"Ah, wonderful. Splendid battles, everyone. I am also here to challenge Nessa. Who here needs to go next? I'll wait until your friend group is done. Oh, and my name is Shade. I'm a researcher from Kanto. I came by to study the Pokemon."

With that, her Alolan Raichu, who had been tagging along outside her PokeBall the entire time except when at the Turffield Stadium, waved her paws at Salasa, Kia, Jake, and the other kids who happened to be in the group, if they were there.

"Shade, from Kanto you said right? Does your last name happen to be Dertrix?" Seth smiled and hoped what he asked was true as he has always wanted to visit their family ranch. He heard that they have pokemon that are native to Kanto there, and are all seasoned trainers and tend to be very talented in their types of choice.

On his shoulder was Frost. She was a little abrasive to let another into their group, but her companion seemed to be happy with them, so she could deal with the additional person.

Shade chuckled at Seth, but the smile on her face and the glow about it seemed to tell that she was so happy that someone recognized her and her family. "Oh, why yes. But not quite right. My family name is Darastrix and we live north of Mt. Moon in Kanto."

She had a Pokemon Box at her belt with her satchel on the other side. She fished around for her datapad and took a moment to look at all the Pokemon. Seeing that she had already recorded everyone's data from her year-long adventure in the Wilds, she had a disappointed look on her face as she put it back.

"Just as a question, but what Galar Pokemon do you have. How has it been training them and interacting with them?"

"Well I do not have her out at the moment, but Aura just hatched a couple of hours ago. She is a Galarian ponyta, other then her, I do not have any other Galar pokemon. I am not really a trainer, so I can not really tell you much about how training them would be. I would do some contest here and there, but I do not even know if they have any here." Seth smiled as he was told he was right. Remembering last names was a bit hard for him, but he could do well with first names.

"I guess we're going to.. Galar Mine 2?" Alex said, hurrying after the others. She also healed up Astral, and sent her out. Rose was exceptionally happy with her friend's evolution, and began pirouette while following Alex. Astral giggled, as she did the same. Blaze was trailing behind the two, holding Frost. The Snom curled up the the Raboot's palm, happy with this temperature instead of Ember. Alex looked over to Shade and replied: "Well, I just beat Nessa, so you can go challenge her.. Shade, wasn't it?" The name Darastix was familiar, probably because she heard her brother flaunting over them. He was a Pokemon Breeder after all. In fact, he was the one who gave Alex Rose when she was younger. Contributing to Shade's question, Blaze ran in front of Alex with Frost. "I also have a Raboot and a Snom."

The mention of a Galarian Ponyta and Alcremie sparked her interest. Her eyes widened and looked at Seth and Salasa with a pleading look. "May I see them please?" She then turned to Jake. "It's alright, young man. The Wild Area had a whole bunch of data for me to collect, so I feel like it is rare for anyone to have a Pokemon that I haven't scanned, yet."

The Alolan Raichu took great interest to Seth and Jake, specifically their Pokemon. Chu floated up to Jake and then to Sonny and waved.

Seth smiled as he got to bring out his newest friend. He took out a pokeball from the braclet that he wore. Pressing the button in the middle, it expanded, and he let out Aura. She looked around the group, and then her eyes landed on Seth.

Aura was happy to see her new friend, and her tail showed it. It swished back and forth in happiness. Little by little the bond that she formed with Seth, grew more as he leaned down to her level and begun to pet her.

“Oh...sure!” He smiled, sending out the Mint flavored, Ribbon Sweet Alcremie. It glanced up at Shade nervously, and hid behind Salasa’s legs. “Oh...right. She's quite shy...her name is Bundt. She’s sweet as anything though.” He smiled, gently picking her up...she trudged onto his shoulder, looking around at all the people.

Shade pulled out her datapad once again and scanned the Alcremie and Galarian Ponyta.

Interested at the Galarian Ponyta, she did a quick search on her datapad. They were mostly seen in Glimwood Tangle. Smiling at that, she wondered what other Pokemon she was missing.

"Why thank you for your kindness. Here, I'll show mine," as she said that, she put her datapad away and sent out her team of Galar Pokemon: Mime Jr., Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Corsola, Galarian Linoone, Dottler, Thievul, Hatenna, Impidimp, male and female Indeedee, Morpeko, and Dreepy.

Gabblimey was leaning against the archway in front of the stadium in Motostoke, waiting for the stupid arrivals. She could've been to the fourth gym at this point, and here she was wasting time on those pitiful specks of dirt. She lightly rubbed the top of the egg she got, pure silver wasn't the best indicator for what something would become. She went over to a nearby paper box and picked a stray paper off of the ground and started reading. No reason why she shouldn't keep herself entertained while waiting for those chumps.

He paused, thinking...he returned Bundt and cleared his throat. "We really should be going...I have a weird feeling we should be getting to Kabu's gym as soon as possible. Alright? It was nice meeting you...Shade, was it? See ya!" He suddenly ran off, ready to blaze through Galar Mine #2...but he was getting pretty distracted by the beautiful crystals everywhere. So was Scruff.

Shade was about to tell Jake before he said something about being her assistant and throwing her his trainer card, which she caught. Chuckling, she would just have to hold that answer for him until they could meet up again. It was her turn at Nessa. She had already used her Galarian Linoone, Dottler, and Thievul. Now, it was time to use her other Pokemon. She returned all of her Pokemon and wish the others well before walking away. She walked up to the door and asked the official there about the mission. It was a maze. A-maze-ing, she thought, earning a grin on her own face. There are waterfalls that fall through grills that you have to navigate through. The grills for the waterfalls are different colors: red, yellow, and blue. There are colored switches that affect the appropriately colored waterfalls. Some are activated while some are deactivated when Shade starts the mission. She has to navigate through this maze and get to the other side to fight Nessa.

She nodded and walked through the door and walked down the blue steps towards the very weird-looking maze. The were no walls, but platforms standing in water. She can see three trainers and the massive waterfalls coming down from the pipes ahead. Interested, she got her first Pokemon ready.

She began her walk through the maze, stopping short through the first platform because a trainer was there. She sent out her Mime Jr. while her opponent sent out a Tympole. Knowing how the battle style for Mime Jr. was, she tried her best to accommodate it. She told her to use Thunder Wave. A weak electric wave came from Mime Jr. and hit the Tympole. The little tadpole was paralyzed and was unable to use the Sonic Boom it was trying to do. She then told her to use Confuse Ray, to which the Mime Jr. responded by creating a few golden spheres and threw them at the Tympole, dancing around the little guy. The Tympole then became confused. Now it was time to attack.

While the Tympole was sitting there confused and unable to move very fast, Mime Jr. used Confusion and Pound. While the Mime Jr. was running up to the Tympole, she released a weak telekinetic force that was enough to cause headaches. Then, when the Tympole was struggling with its afflictions and the damage from the Confusion, the Mime Jr. in and smashed its little pink fist into the side of Tympole's head. The Tympole fell back and was knocked out. That's one trainer down.

As Shade progressed through the maze a bit more, she ran into another trainer. The trainer sent out her Krabby. Shade sent out her Galarian Slowpoke. The little Slowpoke laid there, not wanting to move much. To accommodate this, Shade let the Slowpoke use its ranged attacks. The Krabby used Bubblebeam and shot forth a beam of bubbles. Her Slowpoke used Disable, his body glowing red and the Krabby's body glowing red and the attack immediately ceased. The Krabby looked a little upset and tried to use it some more. But each time, it failed. It was so mad, it got its pincers ready and ran up to her Slowpoke. However, the Slowpoke, albeit there were no emotions on his face, used Confusion, using the weak telekinetic force to throw the Krabby back and give him a slight headache. He then used it again, this time concentrated on giving him pain instead of lifting him. The Krabby was almost out. It tried to run up on the Slowpoke again, but this time, the Galarian Slowpoke used Grass Knot. A green aura surrounded him as little grass blades grew from the ground Slowpoke was on and traveled towards the Krabby, tripping it and squeezing its legs, knocking it out. The lady returned her Krabby and let loose her Corphish. Shade's Slowpoke smirked and used Grass Knot again. It tripped the Corphish, but it wasn't knocked out, yet. The Slowpoke then used Confusion to finish it off.

Now, Shade was back to do what she pleased. Guarding the last set of switches Shade needed was another gym trainer on a little block of platform away from the main platform Shade was on. This gym trainer sent out her Remoraid in the pool of water underneath them. Shade sent out her Galarian Corsola, which landed on the water and, because of her weight, stood on the water. The Remoraid expelled a jet of water at the Galarian Corsola, but she softly floated away a few inches to the left. The Remoraid tried again, but this time Shade's Corsola used Giga Drain. Orbs of green energy float over to the Remoraid. The Remoraid tried to get away, but the orbs latched on to him, sucking his energy and then floated back to Corsola, who got hit by the Water Gun. The Giga Drain healed her. Finding this useful, she kept doing it, even against Shade's own orders. It felt so good to revitalize her energy from another Pokemon. Even though the Remoraid and the lady's Chewtle fainted, she still wanted more. Shade quickly returned her. She had to keep an eye on her.

With the maze finished, she walked on up the steps and through the door to the crowd of onlookers and Nessa. Shade released her Hatenna while Nessa put forth her Goldeen in a shallow body of water. Hatenna looked at the water before her and dipped her foot in it, wondering if it was safe to go in. Shade smiled at the curiousness displayed by her little Pokemon. The match then began, with the Goldeen using Agility to get up close and using Horn Attack. Hatenna saw this and instinctively used Psybeam, sending forth a powerful beam of multi-colored psychic energy at her. The Goldeen was knocked back and used Water Pulse. A pulsating wave of water was expelled from her mouth as it traveled to Hatenna. The Hatenna looked at it wonderingly and used Magical Leaf as instructed. Psychically created leaves of grass energy appeared at Hatenna sides and shot through the Water Pulse, destroying it and going straight towards Goldeen, knocking it out. Next, was Arrokuda.

Hatenna was getting the hang of battling and loved it. To the point where she was starting to get sadistic. She ran up to the Arrokuda, who was now confused but used Bite when Hatenna got up close. When the Arrokuda opened her jaws to clamp down on Hatenna, the Hatenna's mouth became electrified and she nuzzled the fish, causing immediate paralysis and shocked it. The Arrokuda was now unable to move as fast and Hatenna used Giga Drain to take in its energy. It was now Drednaw's turn.

Nessa returned her Arrokuda in exchange for Drednaw and then Dynamaxed him. Shade returned her Hatenna to Dynamax her, as well. Now, it was a giant, curious Psychic-Type against a giant turtle. Nessa had Drednaw use Max Darkness, and Shade told Hatenna to use Max Overgrowth. Two portals next to Drednaw appeared as dark energy erupted from them and went straight towards Hatenna, encircling her and exploding into a dark dome around her. During this, Hatenna had spat out giant seeds around Drednaw, which then erupted into large mushrooms and a tree before exploding. This knocked out Drednaw, and the turtle exploded from expelling the Dynamax energy abruptly before shrinking down and being returned by Nessa. Shade also returned Hatenna, who was now exhausted and injured from the fight.

Shade walked over to Nessa and got her Water Badge. She then left and went to the Pokemon Center to heal her main stars. Now, it was time to head to Motostoke. She walked towards Galar Mine No. 2, enjoying the scenery as she did. The next Pokemon she was going to use were going to be her male and female Indeedee, her Morpeko, her Impidimp, and her Dreepy.

Kia didn't say anything. She was too busy reading her books. She saw Salasa running off, so she decided to say something. "Been nice meeting you. I'm Kia by the way." She chased after the group. She entered the mine and crashed into Salasa. Ikari hopped off her head as it happened. She landed on top of Salasa and groaned. She realised her situation and got up quickly. She blushed a bit and looked away, dazed. "Sorry..." She turned to Jake and stopped blushing. "Oliver's orders of course, sir." She smirked and saluted. Ikari saw Sasai crawl out of Kia's bag. She jumped in front of Sasai and hissed. Sasai grumbled and continued. Straight into Ikari. Before a fight could start, Mudd separated the two. Kia returned Mudd and Ikari, and sent out Uma and Sled. She hoped the three would get along better.

“Huh? Well...Gah!” He yelped, feeling Kia ram into him. He went red, clearing his throat and waving it off. “I-It’s fine...um...well, I really wanted to get to the next gym. I dunno why, but...I just really wanna get back to Motostoke.” He stood up, rubbing the back of his head. “Maybe...maybe that Mime Jr’s still there, waiting for me...” he mumbled, looking around. “But look at this place! It’s real pretty...”

"Eh, I'm sure we'll run into her again." She said to Jake. Blaze was holding Flake, before being attacked with an Air Cutter on his back. He turned around to see a Noibat who attempted to attack Flake. Blaze jumped up in the air and used Blaze Kick, the Noibat was hurt, but continued its rampage. She then used another Air Cutter aimed at the Snom. Frost was incredibly weak, however started to glow white and emitted a white ball of energy. The Noibat fell to the ground, damaged. Alex turned around to see Flake use Mirror Coat and looked over to the weak Pokemon and threw a Great Ball. It went in after 3 shakes, and Alex healed Flake and the Noibat. "Hmm, what to call you..." Alex pondered as Rose and Astral looked at the crystals and the Noibat looked at Flake, looking hungry. Flake coiled up even more and Blaze glared at the Dragon type.
