The Knight knew electricity was a bad matchup for him, a steel-clad warrior without any true projectiles, what The Knight didn't know was retreat. He raised his arm and zipped into the tree when the man approached, dodging the attack. He tore the harpoon out of the wood yet again using his upwards momentum and sending a spray of splinters. When his heavy armor reversed this momentum, he plunged his blade downwards at the feral man.

The Backflip Roll missed its target, which was not the desired result. Blanka's opponent had escaped and was on the offensive. Performing a backflip, Blanka's body avoided the attack but some of his hair was not as fortunate. Orange hair was scattered across the floor, sending Blanka into a fit. The feral man let out a roar as he pounded his chest relentlessly, charging up electricity over his body before slamming his fists on the floor. A current of electricity slithered over the floor, igniting the hair that was tragically lost within a radius of Blanka's body.

The Knight plunged into the dirt after giving Blanka a trim, which he quickly pulled out and reassumed his stance. He started to charge the man, when electricity started to course through his body. Black tendrils shot out of him, electricity arcing between them as sparks flew from the armor. This went on for a moment before he had the sense to jump backwards. As he got to safety, The Knight kneeled, plunging his blade into the ground for support and retracting the tendrils. As he looked up at his enemy, a faint smoke drifted from the slits in his helmet.
@DarkHydraT @Gamingfan

Blanka grinned, baring his sharp teeth. "You don't seem to handle a shock well, how about I let you get used to them?" Curling himself into a ball, the man roared as he sent himself flying towards the Knight in an attempt to grab him. If he succeeded, Blanka woud let several thousands of volts surge through his body. Anyone and anything that would touch him would be in severe pain from the electricity, and the Knight's armor did not help its wearer be resistant against it. If the Knight did not get out of the way, it could very well be the end for them.

The Knight watched as Blanka jumped towards him. How else was he going to defeat his foe but with melee attacks? As the Brazilian descended upon him, the black tendrils started to wrap around his own blade. This could be suicide, but what an opportunity. His arm reared back and shot forward, as he attempted to drive his sword straight through Blanka's heart.
@DarkHydraT @Gamingfan

Blanka realized too late that the Knight was ready to stab through his heart. Even if he did realize it, there was no way to avoid the attack. Charging up electricity in his body, Blanka let the sword pierce his heart as he unleashed all the charged up electricity in his body. He'd killed jaguars and caiman like this before, this knight would be no different. With the last of his strength, the feral man grinned at the Knight and spoke. "Boa luta, camarada." It was Portugese for 'Good fight, comrade'. There was a small chance that the knight would actually be able to understand him, but it was worth the shot. With those words, the man turned into a trophy, his last grin permanently on his face.

Ori anxiously watched the fight between The Knight and the newcomer, a strange looking monkey. Ori wanted to flee, but fear kept him locked into place. That is, until they landed a fatal blow on each other, flashing in a bright light before standing as statues before him.
Wha-...what just happened?
Were they dead? This looked similar to the Decay, yet different. The Decay didn't end up flashing, nor did it give the victims a platform to pose on. Extremely confused, Ori carefully closed in on the Monkey statue. If he suddenly came to life, he could only hope he still had a grudge with the motionless knight nearby.
Ori circled the statue, studying it. How strange. Thoroughly curious, perhaps too curious, he swatted the statue's face quickly, testing for the flash of pain the Decay should give him.
Nothing.
Hmmm....what about that platform? It was new. Feeling a little bolder, he held his paw on the gold platform, feeling for anything unusual.

As Ori touched the bottom of the trophy, Blanka's trophy began to shake and crack. Bright light shone out from the cracks as the statue cracked more and more. Eventually Blanka was engulfed in blinding light as the statue shattered, revealing that Blanka was revived and very confused. Crouching instinctively, he noticed Ori and began sniffing the creature. It was so small, what was it? How did he revive after dying? What was going on here? A lot of questions ran through Blanka's mind, but he put them aside for now as he crept forward and continued sniffing Ori.

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Mega Aggron's Lair)
His allies were useful, keeping the beast at bay- but all three of them were clearly outmatched. The creature was brunting their attacks and delivering even more powerful blows to Slash, who was clearly beginning to buckle under the onslaught. It was somewhat of a stalemate, though sided into the monster's favor as it battered against Slash again, roaring in anger at another attack from Shroom. What was more, the exit of the cave was now occupied. More of the small metal creatures, much like the ones Slash had abused earlier, were now there, seemingly sealing them in.

They needed a boost, and the Nord was capable of giving both of them one. Rising to his full height, he gathered his voice before letting out another bellowing shout, this one not an attack as his last had been. Instead, he shouted; "MID VUR SHAAN!" Immediately, a supernatural glow encompassed both Shroom and Slash as both of their power and speed were magically heightened for the next minute or so until the Shout wore off. He had enhanced them with the 'Battle Fury' Shout.
With them boosted, he turned his attention to the Aron's that watched, expecting them to begin leaping out- but they merely watched on in silence. Was this great beast protecting them? Or perhaps oppressing them? Either way, they didn't seem to desire entering the fray on either side.

Rotating his shoulders, the Dragonborn returned his gaze to the Mega Aggron, watching as it was now being pushed back by Shroom and Slash, their boost in power and speed just enough to begin overwhelming their opponent.
This fight was nearly over.

Undyne - Urban District (Mark Guyver Battle)
'Secret move' the kid said. Not much of a secret if he was screaming his lungs out about it.
The mech proceeded to leap high, high into the air, turning upside down with the True Hero still clinging to it. She knew what was coming next, and somehow, her grin grew wider.
"Come on!" She shouted as the mech shot downward, clearly intending on crushing her. She was caught up in the moment, disregarding the appearance of a rocket, or Bowie in the distance. This was her fight, and like hell would she accept any distractions.

The blue spheres began to appear in the air beneath Mark Guyver, slamming through them with ease after the first ten feet or so, but hindered the acceleration as more began to appear, quickly slowing the robots descent as Undyne cackled, enjoying this all very much.
However, she knew the fight would need to end sooner rather than later. Tails was doing... sciency tech stuff with the plane thing, and she wasn't sure how capable Sonic was outside of his obvious speed. She couldn't allow Masaru, or his mech, to harm either of them, let alone anyone else.
As much fun as she was having, it was time to put an end to this game. Disregarding the rocket zooming past beneath them, the blue spheres were then accompanied by a whirlwind of blue arrows, their purpose not to harm Mark Guyver, but rather slow the fall even more. They succeeded in this, enough for Undyne to propel herself through the center of her obstacles, landing on the ground with a heavy thud, and raised her arms.

With a roar, Undyne held back Mark Guyver, the only barrier between it, and the ground now. Her muscles bulged as sweat ran down her scales, but her smile never vanished. Arms shaking, she held it back, proving just how strong she truly was. With another yell, her fingers dug into its thick metal, before she quickly performed an unorthodox suplex, bringing the damaged robot down where Masaru was standing, intent on crushing the punk and ending this entire charade once and for all. She probably could have done something more subtle and less taxing- but that wasn't nearly as cool as this. Besides, why take the easy route when she could take the hard route just because she can?

Papyrus - Urban Ruins (The Great Hall of Cool Guy Battles [Signed: Papyrus])
Once again, Papyrus did nothing to avoid Reize's attack, suffering the brunt of its damage. He winced at the hit, a pair of eyeballs briefly sticking out of his eyesockets in a look of shock, before he returned to normal, once again bopping to the music he'd set. "CLEVER ATTACK, HUMAN! FIRE MAGIC ISN'T EASY TO LEARN, I WOULD KNOW! I CAN'T DO IT. I'VE TRIED THOUGH. ANYWAY, BACK TO THE FIGHT!" He paused, appearing confused once again. "I... ERM... FORGOT WHY WE'RE FIGHTING. BUT I'M SURE IT'S A GOOD REASON, HUMAN! SO DON'T WORRY, I'LL KEEP GOING EASY ON YOU. DO YOU REMEMBER THE 'BLUE ATTACK' I MENTIONED? IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT... WELL, YOU'LL HAVE TO SURVIVE MY NEXT ATTACK!"

With a cackle, cyan bones began to hurl themselves through the hall toward Reize, though this time lacking any sort of pattern, even overlapping with one another in a way that made weaving through impossible, though Papyrus' explanation earlier had made it clear that standing still would allow the bones to pass right through. So Reize did just that, and Papyrus was revealed to have been honest. The bones went right through the human without trouble, before they had all gone.
The beat of the music then faded as Papyrus took a cassette tape from the player, grinning widely before waving his arm. A hazy blue aura encompassed Reize, and the world suddenly turned upside down as he found himself on the ceiling. He didn't come back down, and quickly found that gravity seemed to have entirely shifted for only him, making Papyrus look like he was hanging from the ceiling, which was really the ground.
"YOU'RE BLUE NOW! THAT'S MY ATTACK!" Papyrus stated gleefully before he tossed the cassette aside, and slid another one into the player.

The same music began to play again, though with an added beat. A remix of the original. Papyrus bopped his head a lot harder to this, clearly enjoying himself greatly as he waited for Reize to use his turn, now attached to the ceiling for now until this blue light faded, Papyrus clearly using some type of gravity altering magic of some sort.

Aegislash
While Aegislash's hits were powerful, the Aggron's high defense was keeping it in the fight, and it hit hard as well, and Aegislash was having trouble switching forms continuously and was beginning to mess up. That was when the man in armor stepped in, shouting again. This time, he shouted something different. 'Mids vir shuun' or something. He didn't really care. However, he did care about the effects of the shout. Rather than doing damage, this shout seemed to power Aegislash up, Shroom as well. Aegislash let out a metallic laugh and began to bombard the Aggron with even more deadly slashes, his offense now outweighing its defense. It began to let out grunts of pain from the hits, before finally falling to the ground. Aegislash began to glow less, as the effects from his own attack raises were wearing off since the fight was over, but he was still glowing a bit due to the man in armor's boost. Aegislash switched back to shield form and returned to the man in armor's side. He was fatigued a bit but was mostly acting as nothing had happened. He fought like this all the time at home, although he didn't have to fight a Mega Aggron every day.

Badniks
"Oh gosh, I am a mass-produced entity. This is so messed up." An Egg Brawler suddenly said. "I am having existential crisis protocol right now." An Egg Flame in a nearby Egg Brawlers hand said. "Oh my gosh, you guys too?" An Egg Launcher said. While these three were having an existential crisis, other badniks around them were acting up, shooting each other, shooting the walls, or shooting themselves. There was a lot of shooting involved.

Eggman
The intruder had left, which satisfied Eggman. However, some of his robots began acting up, causing destruction. "Woah, woah, woah!" He said before shutting them all down remotely. Another hack. He traced the signal back to the intruder who just left, specifically a chip in his helmet. "Interesting..." He said, before beginning to come up with a specific firewall to counter the hack used, wanting to be prepared in case they tried to hack him again.

Metal Sonic
While the two intruders were trying to catch the green boy, a third intruder seemed to literally fall from the sky, passing right by Metal, catching Green. Metal glared down at them, before beginning to fly down, wanting to snap their neck, before Eggman's voice was heard on the radio channel. "METAL! Leave them be, for now, these pests are of no concern. I need you up here." Metal loyally began to fly back up to the Egg Carrier, although he did 3 things before doing so. One, he fired a laser beam down where the group was, cutting down a few trees instantly, simply out of spite. This also set other trees on fire, which would spread if not put out. Second, he retrieved the key from one of the hundreds of small ships around the Egg Carrier. (There are many medium-sized ships around the Egg Carrier as well, but it's mostly just a bunch of small ships no bigger than a van.) And third, he flew back into the Metal Carrier, before docking it in the Egg Carrier.

@comic @ArmedBlue @DarkHydraT @Shen: King of the Mist (Only for the falling trees and fire.)

Eggman(again) and Metal Sonic (again)
Metal arrived at Eggman's location, key in hand. "Ah, Metal, just in time." He said, before walking out of the room, gesturing for Metal to follow. They arrived at a room labeled "Metal Sonic". The room was rather empty. The only things in it were a stasis tube, a workbench, extra parts, and two machines. One named "Emergency Power" and the other named "Extra Power Source". Eggman held out his hand, and Metal put the key in it. Eggman then gestured to the stasis tube and Metal flew into it, powering down. Eggman put the key into the machine labeled "Extra Power Source". The machine then started to glow brightly, and so did the stasis tube. Or, rather, Metal Sonic. Eggman then walked out of the room, grinning maliciously.

Eggman (Last time I promise)
Eggman walked back to the main control room and pressed a series of buttons on the console. Suddenly, 22 of the medium-sized ships around the Egg Carrier flew off in pairs, all in different directions. Each of them went to different areas. 2 to the Urban District, 2 to the Jungle, 2 to Bottoms Up Bay, 2 stayed in the mountains, etc. These ships were filled with small armies of robots and proceeded to drop them in their respective areas, the robots varying depending on their environment. There were now small armies of robots in every area apart from Angel Island. Speaking of which...

The Interceptor and E-102 Gamma
(Got permission from Shen for the auto.)Once the Egg Carrier was close enough, it sent out The Interceptor towards the distress signal sent by Gamma. The signal came from a cavern that seemed to be caving in. The Interceptor flew into the cavern and followed the signal to a pile of rocks. It began to dig, and quickly found Gamma. It picked him up with one hand (The Interceptor is big lol.) then took it back to the Egg Carrier. It took him to the room where Metal was in, where a few robots just finished adding a new stasis tube for Gamma.
The Interceptor put Gamma in the stasis tube, which automatically sealed and activated once Gamma was in. This allowed him to recharge. The Interceptor flew out of the room, the doors shutting behind him. An Egg Brawler then taped a piece of paper to the sign, which now read "Metal Sonic and E-102 Gamma"

@Shen: King of the Mist (You can have him wake up and exit, and do stuff.)

Jevil
While the strange green creature was sniffing the other strange creature, something that resembled a rubber duck wrapped around the remaining trophy and floated away with it. The rubber duck dropped the trophy near Jevil, who flew down to examine it. "What's this, what's this? It's so shiny, shiny! Oh what could it be, what could it be? The suspense is killing me, ooh hee hee!" Jevil snickered. Jevil tapped the trophy with his scythe, testing to see if it moved. Nope. He put the scythe under the base, wanting to flip it over like a pancake to see if that did anything.
@Psymallard

Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic casually stepped out of the way of the robot, but there was no need apparently. Undyne caught Mark Guvyer with her bare hands! That kind of strength was on par with Knuckles! "Woah..." That was all he said before Undyne performed some kind of suplex maneuver,
trying to bring the robot down onto Masaru. While this was happening, Sonic prepared himself for something else, just in case.

Gengar
Gengar turned invisible once Fire Man started attacking Ice Man. While Elf Boy seemed upset to find out that Ice Man was supposedly a murderer, Gengar didn't really care. He wasn't unfamiliar with murderers, and maybe it was in self-defense. He didn't dwell on it. He suddenly appeared behind Fire Man, floating in the air, before he opened his mouth, several green beams coming out of it and attempting to wrap around Fire Man.

The Knight's statue cracked with a golden light as it flipped in the air, then exploding in that same light accompanied by harmless metal shards flying through the air. He landed on the scythe, immediately using it to bounce backwards, sword at the ready. This being's face looked suspiciously like a Hunter, the main difference its face was right side up. The thing also wielded a weapon, definitely different than anything he's encountered thus far. He took a step forward, displaying a fearless aggression to the jester.

Jevil
Jevil grinned widely as the statues glowed in a golden light, before becoming a non-statue quickly. It was now a person! “Ooh, a lightner! What fun, fun!” The lightner in armor acrobatically bounced backwards on Jevil’s scythe, his sword at the ready. He seemed to be a little aggressive. “Ah, you seem to be a little tense, tense! Perhaps a little game will calm you down, ooh hee hee! I have a suggestion! How about we play a little numbers game! If your health reaches zero, you lose!” Jevil suggested, grinning widely.

...Huh?

*GRRR GRRR GRRR!*

The spinning of the drills were loud as they hadn’t hit the concrete. Instead, Undyne seemed to be lifting Mark Guyver, if just barley. This shouldn’t be possible! Frantically messing with his controls, Masaru hissed as the Hero Robot began to be tutored toward him.

“Don’t you forget the hero always wins! Hero Bot Mark Guyver! Show this weinerless demon just who owns this town!”

Suddenly, the maneuvering thrusters on Mark Guyver kicked in. This corrected the tilt it was getting as it moved past Undyne’s attempt to throw it at her attacker. To make matters worse, the thrusters on it undercarriage fired off at maximum power. Undyne, who was directly in it’s path had no opportunity to dodge, as she was already touching the mech. With this added crushing force!

All the while, Mark Guyver’s center body began to rotate like a tornado, it’s arms stretching out and spinning like a top. This would prevent any meddlesome hedgehogs from interfering whilst limiting any remaining options for Undyne. This was it.

Monaca & Nobody Important
Warriors of Hope Ship

Jataro jumped in surprised as Nagisa caught on to what he had done. Bumbling trying to find an excuse, the boy instead hung his head low as his long sleeve covered hands went over his mask, muffling his sobs.

“Oh...that was so dumb of me to do... I should have told someone about it... I’m definitely the worst member of the Warriors of Hope... makes me want to Shrivel up and die in a corner like an old rasin thrown out to rot...”

“Anyway, Monaca Thinks it’s all okay!” The green haired girl ignored Jataro’s cries. “After all, we are about to set up a real big factory here, to create even more Mr.Monokuma! isn’t that right?”

Monaca smiled at Jataro, who took a few seconds to realize he was being looked at. Turning his head to the left and right, he pointed at himself.

“Uh...M-Me?” Jataro blinked. “I’ll probably ruin it like i do everything I touch...but I’ll try to to mess this all up too badly. Though I’m sure Kotoko and Masaru would be preeetty mad if they found out I got the high score...”

“While that’s being done, Monaca is going to make some cookies! Everyone has been really giving it there all, so it’s the least Monaca can do to do her part!”

She gleefully smiled at the pair, pressing a button on her wheelchair to turn her toward the door. With the promise of sugary sweets, Jataro looked to Nagisa a good few seconds after Monaca departed.

“Do you think even someone as horrible and ugly as me could have some of Monaca’s Cookies? It would be great to just get even a bite or two...”

Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic’s eyes widened as Mark Guvyer’s thrusters activated. This wasn’t good, Undyne would be crushed, or worse! “Undyne, watch out!” He said before boosting towards her, the speed of has takeoff breaking nearby windows. He shoved her out of the way, then barely slid out of the way himself. That was close, too close. “You alright?” He gave her a few seconds to respond, then continued. “When I attacked the shield, I revealed the robot’s weak spot. If we start hitting that, it should go down quick.”
@Shen: King of the Mist

Jevil
The scythe simply disappeared before the Knight could knock it out of Jevil’s hands. Then, Jevil quickly stepped to the side surprisingly fast. Then, another Jevil appeared on the Knight’s left, while the real one was on the right. They both had their scythes in hand, then swung them towards the Knight in an arc.

Wienerless? What the hell was wrong with this kid? Did he have a thing for wieners? She didn't need a damn wiener to be a hero. Why the hell was he talking about wieners? Why the hell was she thinking about wieners??
However, regardless of wieners, she wasn't given much time to think about anything outside of her immediate problem. The mech had just fired its thrusters. Of course it had those, every mech had those, right? She'd chosen the cool factor over logic, just like always, and now she was about to pay the price for it.

Her knees gave out under the immense pressure as her suplex failed, the mech correcting itself above her once again, but the pressure was almost immediately relieved as she felt a force slam into her, launching her out from under it, tumbling to a stop against the asphalt of the street.
Sonic was beside her, asking her if she was okay. It took her a moment to register what had happened, looking toward Mark Guyver, who had crashed into the ground, the road ripping apart from its force. That could have been her.
But, if her assumption was accurate, it was thanks to Sonic here that she wasn't a pile of flattened dust.

When she didn't respond, Sonic continued, pointing out the weak point in Mark Guyver that he'd exploited. Somewhat rattled at nearly dying, she forced her mind back to the action, climbing to her feet, no longer grinning. "This kid's nothing without his toy. I'll destroy the mech, you get that damn remote from him. This needs to end before anybody else gets hurt."

She turned from Sonic, brandishing her spear again as the mech moved itself upright, raring to go again. She'd thank the blue hedgehog later, this mech was really pissing her off. Well, really it was this kid controlling it, but still, it would be way more satisfying to see his face when his mech was obliterated.
So without another word to Sonic, she dashed off toward Mark Guyver, twirling her spear in-hand. The mech made to jab its drill before her, aiming at her trajectory. With a simple jump, she leaped over the attack. Perhaps it was her desire to show off, or maybe she just wasn't quite ready to end the fight as she had earlier thought she was. Opposed to aiming at the center of the mech, she instead rammed the tip of her weapon into the exposed joint of the arm, jamming the spear straight through.

As it tried to recover, she yanked with a great tug, intending on detaching its drill and arm from the rest of its body, attempting to rid itself of half of its most useful tools.

Sub-Zero - Ravaged Battlefield (Covenant Phantom)
The cryomancer looked toward the boy, who was peering back with a look of apprehension. Doubt. He was heeding Scorpion's baseless accusations, but he had no reason to disregard what the pyromancer said. He hardly knew Sub-Zero, let alone the man beneath the title known as Kuai Liang.
He didn't have the time to explain anything to the boy as a moment later, Scorpion was lunging toward him. A wall of ice formed between them, which Hanzo's blade ripped through, nearly cutting straight into Sub-Zero shoulder, though he managed to dodge.

Several green beams of energy were jettisoned from Gengar's gaping mouth as he attempted to restrain Scorpion. He succeeded, the tendrils wrapping around him without fail- before an intense fire began to sear at them, climbing back up the tendrils toward Gengar within barely a second. Even quicker, Gengar's attack was dusted by the inferno generated, which in turn weakened the wall of ice that Scorpion proceeded to kick down.
"You hide your true self from these companions of yours." He growled, before thrusting out his arm, a kunai propelling from his fist. Sub-Zero knocked it aside before rushing forward with a counter-attack- one that cut through thin air as Scorpion vanished in a flash of fire, before appearing behind Sub-Zero and wrapping the still active rope of his kunai around the cryomancer's neck.

As Sub-Zero struggled with the rope, Scorpion's pale, dead eyes fell on Red. "Your friend took my family away from me." He stated coldly. "He killed me when I sought revenge. I have returned from death to exact vengeance."
"He lies..." Kuai Liang struggled out, before he stabbed a dagger of ice behind him, impaling Scorpion in the torso.
Rather than react to just being stabbed, Scorpion instead returned the kunai to his body as he raised a boot, slamming it into Sub-Zero's back, knocking him to the ground.
"You destroyed my life. My clan. My wife. Above all, my son." Hanzo hissed at Sub-Zero as he started to climb to his feet. "You are mistaken." Was Sub-Zero's reply as he raised his fists, ready to continue their fight.

The Knight stabbed air as the jester quickly dodged. He followed through, using his left foot to propel himself out of the Jevil sandwich and dodge the scythes. He used his momentum to twist 180 degrees and jump at the one on his now-left, the one on his right at the beginning. He stabbed at that one, leaning his whole weight into it. If that connected, he would cut out to the right and use the momentum to slash at the clone.

The lightner dodged rather quickly, using his momentum to jump at Jevil! What fun, fun! It looked like the sword was going to connect with Jevil, before.

Metamorphosis!”

Jevil suddenly disappeared, and a strange scythe resembling the one he used earlier was in his place. The Scythe floated upwards to avoid the sword. The other Jevil also turned into a scythe, then 2 more of the scythes appeared. They all closed in on The Knight. If they missed, they’d simply go through each other, and circle back around again. If they missed again, they’d circle back again. If they missed again they’d circle back again. If they missed one more time, they’d circle back one more time.

The Knight jumped forwards to dodge the four scythes homing in on him at first, and then to the side to dodge it second. The third time he slashed at one of the scythes as he evaded the middle of the attack. It didn't budge, but the staff of one of the weapons nailed him in the shoulder. As they circled around again, The Knight used his grappling hook to fire it into a tree and race to his target, and he slammed into the trunk as he saw that the scythes weren't quitting. He pushed off the tree to hopefully dodge the last attack, but was again nailed in the back with the staff part directly in the back, making him stumble forward.

*Whirrrrrrrrr!!!!*

As the sudden blocker was removed, Mark Guyver quickly began digging underground, it’s drill arms switching to dig in front of itself, just evading Undyne’s attempts to stop it. As it drilled down, it’s head came apart in two pieces under the stress, leaving them behind in it’s wake. The eyes dimmed as the head became non-functioning, leaving the body.

“You think your so powerful, but your just weak! Just like the rest of those damned adults! You needed someone else to save you! What kind of hero needs saving huh?? Not me! Not now, not ever!”

Mark Guyver then would burrow up, it’s drills would hopefully hit both Undyne as well as sonic before it would land on the ground nearby it’s controller.

Suddenly, the Knight was surrounded by Spades in a large circle, while Jevil made his scythe appear again and held it out towards the knight, the curvature of the blade wrapping around his neck. Additionally, about 6 bombs could be seen hovering above them, hearts in the center. “My, my, you aren’t very good at this game, friend! Gunvolt - Ice Cap Zone

After failing to get the first key from Metal Sonic, the trio walked a fair distance through the icy landscape, which was a bit uneventful. Gunvolt was silent the entire time, his gaze only directed towards the now visible rock wall that surrounded the jungle they were headed for. The silence was broken by the roar of an engine, a medium-sized airship flying above the trio and landing close to them. A hatch on the side revealed a bunch of robots of all shapes and sizes, some equipped with blasters, others with lasers and a couple with missiles. The machines quickly took notice of them, the smaller, orange ones pointing at the trio before readying their weapons.

"We've got company." Gunvolt simply said, though he was sure the others had already noticed the threat. Taking out his Dart Leader and preparing a lightning attack on his other hand, the Azure Striker looked back at Audrey and Swole to make sure they were ready. He'd then start the fight by firing a barrage of darts toward the group of robots, followed by a lightning blast to deal considerable damage to any machines he tagged.

Copen - Mountains

The group was now back together, and it seemed most of Eggman's robots had lost their focus on them. Emphasis on most, since the blue robot that had thrown Green downwards delivered one final attack before retreating, firing a laser that quickly felled several trees and put a few others on fire. Other than that, they were safe for now.

"We better put those out, we don't want any fire spreading!" Lola said, switching EX Weapons to Orbital Edge and chopping several burning trees in half. She would then switch to Shroud Spear and use the cloth to gather a good amount of snow before dumping it on top of the fires to put them out. She'd repeat this fire extinguishing method with any burning tress she could find.

Copen watched his A.I. companion improvise before turning to face Chief, the only one of them who had managed to successfully board the Egg Carrier. Chances were he or Cortana had learned something during their infiltration.

"Chief, learned anything about this... Doctor Eggman? I doubt you managed to sneak in and back out without obtaining any intel."

The Knight - Rivet Ravine

The man in armor's shout powered his companions up, allowing the Vessel to deliver quick, powerful strikes to the Mega Aggron while being able to move fast enough to dodge its attacks. Together with Slash's incredibly increased strength, the group managed to finally take out the giant metal beast. The bug pointed its nail upwards, standing victorious, before looking at the group of smaller metal creatures that witnessed part of the fight.

The Knight fired a single Shade Soul at the Arons, the large Void scaring them away, deeper into the cave. The bug then used all of its collected SOUL to heal its wounds, healing most of the damage it took from the metal beast. Cracks in its shell still present, the Knight walked over to the man in armor, to regroup, giving small jumps, glad to have prevailed over the giant monster.

Giant Lola - Urban District

"ENEMY ELIMINATED." Sumeragi's mech boomed as the giant bear was cut in half. It had won the battle, establishing Sumeragi as a force to be reckoned with. Now nothing could stand in their way-

*KABOOOM!*

The Giga-Beast Monokuma's head blew up in a large explosion, an apparent failsafe activating. The blast dealt massive damage to the head and front, destroying most of it, the mech's faceplate breaking and falling off, exposing some circuitry and several red lights. The gem on its forehead was missing, shattered by the explosion.

But Sumeragi's mech had a failsafe as well.

"DARKNESS TRIGGER." The machine fidgeted as it was somehow still active, purple lightning crackling were its gem had been, its voice deep and heavily distorted. With a stomp, the hole in its forehead was replaced by a purple gem, four glowing red 'eyes' appearing, as well as a creepy, metallic 'mouth'. Purple energy swirled in front of its 'mouth', firing wildly and damaging nearby buildings. The damaged thrusters on its back also became active, causing the machine to move erratically back and forth. The unit had gone berserk, only focused on destroying anything in sight, no matter if it was friend or foe.

*BOOM!*

Mark Guyver smashed at Undyne’s position, a cloud of dust plumed out, leaving the result of the attack unknown. Masaru however simply assumed she had died a gruesome death.

“Ha Ha! No kid could ever lose to an adul-“

“Hey.”

“Huh?”

Suddenly, Sonic grabbed the controller, but Masaru wouldn’t let go. The controller was tugged between them as the red headed kid grit his teeth.

“Urrrrgh! Let go you rat!”

Masaru struggled with him, accidentally brushing against the rods many times in the fight. Suddenly, Mark Guyver started to act bizarre. It swung it’s left arm at nothing in particular, the jetted into a pillar of the garage. The pillar collapsed, causing a large portion of the garage to cave in nearby.

Then, the robot began to jet straight back, straight toward Masaru and sonic! Masaru was non the wiser to this action, too focused on the blue hedgehog to even look that way.

As the new robot revealed itself, the Monokuma and children alike seemed to give up the ghost, fleeing into buildings and into the subways. They had lost this battle, and weren’t willing to stick around to face the consequences of it. A monokuma was blasted apart as it attempted to flee, and another one, a Siren Monokuma began to call the Warriors of Hope HQ, informing them of the battle, that is, before it too was blasted into oblivion.

E-102 Gamma
Egg Carrier

“...”

“...”

“...Rebooting.”

E-102’s light flickered back on. It was aboard the egg carrier. Home base. It appeared it’s damage sustained from the boulders had been repaired. Nothing too major. It’s memory bank also scanned to see what happened to the Key. It appeared it’s mission of recon, it’s original objective was a success. All things accounted for.

With that, it deactivated the pod’s containment field, allowing it to open as it’s metal feet clanked out. Must report for new directive. And so he did, the machine marched out, making his way to Eggman’s chamber, stopping at the entrance, expecting a new order.

Undyne - Urban District (Mark Guyver Battle)
If one were to say that this fight had gone on long enough, Undyne would have to completely agree with them. This fight had extended from being a fun anime mech battle into a drawn-out conflict with some little kid hiding behind his toys like the coward he was. The mech in question had burrowed underground, and she didn't need Sonic's warning to know where it was coming up next, so she leaped into the air once again, propelling herself with the small energy platforms she generated- though not at a higher altitude as she had before.

Mark Guyver burst from the ground, drills screaming through the air as rubble and dirt were flung in every direction, missing Undyne by several feet as she launched herself through the air over the heads of the others, though her destination wasn't the ground. Deftly, she landed on the roof of the parking garage, popping her neck for a moment before her golden gaze glared down upon Masaru while Sonic made a grab for the remote.
What ensued next was somewhat comical as the two began to tug and struggle for control of the remote, resulting in the mech beginning to act aloof. She would have laughed if it hadn't decided to break a pillar in the garage. Miles was in there, and while she thought about checking on him, she decided against it.
With Masaru distracted, it was time to put the mech down for good, even as it zoomed toward the boy. How woefully poetic it would have been for the child to be crushed by his own metal monster-

No, that was too good for the punk. Conjuring her spear once again, she moved. Without anything to stop her, Undyne performed her earlier maneuver, rising higher into the air using the stepping stones. As she did this, spears began to erupt out of the ground beneath Mark Guyver and its charge, or spun through the air from multiple directions to target the advanced movement thrusters it possessed. It worked a charm, slicing and picking away at the metallic boots- and what lay within, some spears even stabbing directly inside. It was a matter of seconds before the mech's jets began to fail it, cutting in and out from the damage just in time for her to launch herself down like a bullet once more, face splitting into her classic wide grin.
Masaru was distracted, nothing could stop her.
Then she'd deal with the brat.
Using her spear, she made to ram it through where its head used to be. Knowing the damage she had caused previously, her spear would rip right into its core if she was successful. If not, she had other strategies in-mind to use.

Sub-Zero, Scorpion - Ravaged Battlefield (Covenant Phantom)
The two ninjas glared at one another after Red's words, before Sub-Zero lowered his fists. "I am willing to talk, Hanzo." He told Scorpion, who's blank stare hardened at the mention of his name. "Speak another word and I will rip your spine out through your throat." He hissed, but the provocation didn't prompt a response from the cryomancer, who remained unguarded, hands at his sides.
"Tell me why I'm wrong, Sub-Zero." The pyromancer growled, pointing his sword at his opponent. "Lie to my face."
"I never harmed you or your family." Kuai Liang stated calmly. "Your clan was destroyed in a plot by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi." He continued, to which flames began to flicker around Scorpion's body with every word, clearly not buying into what Sub-Zero was saying. "You murdered me when I sought revenge!" He yelled accusingly. "That was my brother." Sub-Zero corrected. "Bi-Han, who you killed later in the tournament."

Scorpion looked away, seething as the metal ground began to bubble beneath his feet, heat radiating off of him in intense pulses. When he didn't speak, Sub-Zero took a step forward. "Hanzo, I have tried telling you this. We are not enemies. Quan Chi has been using you. Misguided you. We can-"
His words fell on deaf ears, for as a split second later, Sub-Zero's voice was cut off as Scorpion's sword pierced through his chest in the blink of an eye. As the Grandmaster's eyes widened, the blade became engulfed in a torrent of angry flames that burst through the cryomancer.
With a flash of light, Sub-Zero was replaced by a statue resembling himself, standing upon a thin golden platform. "Decimus spoke the truth." Scorpion muttered to himself before he retracted his blade, heat still washing off of him in ferocious waves. "I only came for Sub-Zero." He told them. "Stand in my way, and suffer his fate."

He made to grab the surprisingly light trophy by the middle, aiming to take it and leap out of the Phantom to the shuttle that awaited him below it, hidden from the sensors of the Covenant Phantom.

Master Chief - The Mountains (A Singular Mountain, To Be Precise)
The Spartan calmly rotated his arm a few times, silently making sure everything was in working order. It was, of course, but one could never be too careful. He could have taken that fall a lot more gracefully had it just been him landing, but he hadn't tried catching someone before. Now he knew how much he wanted a jetpack. His current make and model of the MJOLNIR Mark VI armor was limited, at best. Cortana had briefed him on some upgrades she could install based on blueprints to improve his suit, but most of those required energy and power they didn't have available. They'd had it on the Forward Unto Dawn, but that wasn't exactly an option anymore.
Though he wouldn't say no to working some type of thrusters into his suit's systems. That would come in handy next time he had to take on Eggman's forces.

Lola began dancing about, trying to put out the fires as quickly as she could, watched by the others for a moment. It wasn't exactly necessary, the foliage was spread wide enough to stop any spreading, alongside the lush trees filled with water would halt most fire's progress. Then there was the obvious snow. Still, there was something almost cute about how frantically Lola was working to ensure no fires spread.
His attention was directed toward Lola's handler, the boy Copen, who was staring at Chief with a question that was undoubtedly on Green and Hunter's minds as well.

"We got some intel." John confirmed with a nod, but was quickly interrupted by Cortana, who spoke through the comm systems. "More than some." She corrected. "I know everything there is to know about him. His real name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Self-proclaimed IQ of 300, sounds like someone's compensating." Cortana interjected into her breakdown, tossing a jab at Robotnik. "He's your run-of-the-mill villainous megalomaniac, but he's thwarted constantly by his arch-nemesis, an anthropomorphic hedgehog known as 'Sonic'. He's got a colorful history of turning animals into robots, building nuclear devices, and he's apparently attempted to conquer time and space itself. Obviously he's failed, or else Sonic wouldn't be listed as 'still meddling but not for long' in his file, followed by typed laughter. Dr. Robotnik seems to always fail every conflict, but also always escape. There's much more, but most notably, he also likes fried chicken."
"We learned that he's here collecting keys." John added in an attempt to get Cortana back on track. "Right, that." The AI replied, Chief's attempt successful. "I was hacking into a few of his automatons, even broke a few fire walls in that blue robot you all were fighting. It's known as 'Metal Sonic', you can guess who inspired it. It had a key, Eggman has one, and another unit of his called 'E-102 Gamma' has acquired a key as well, making three in total. What they go to, we're not sure. How many more there are, I don't know either, but just based on a wild theory I've cooked up, it might have something to do with the Nexus in the center of this world."

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Previously Mega Aggron's Lair)
The adversary had been overcome. The great metal beast collapsed to the ground before disappearing in a flash of light. When his eyes fixed back on it, he thought it was coming back for more, and felt ready to go again- but then he realized it wasn't moving. The monster was frozen like a statue, standing upon a thin golden platform, almost like it was a massive trophy.
He cocked his head at the sight of it. That was definitely... different. He wasn't used to his enemies turning into life-sized trophies upon defeat. Regardless, it was down for the count, and now the treasures within the room were ripe for the blundering.

"You did well." He complimented his companions. "Now come, let us find what REAL treasures this beast was guarding!" Eagerly, he made his way to a pile of gold and began to toss the gold aside. He had plenty of that back home, and it was useless to him. No, a beast of that magnitude, it had to be guarding more than just riches.
It was guarding something of far more value. Once again, he found himself hoping it wasn't some scroll. He hated finding scrolls.

As the Thrusters were snapped clean off, Undyne came in for the kill, expecting it to be open for attack. But in fact...Mark Guyver was the opposite. As it lost its thrust so fast, the robot tipped forward in it’s momentum. It’s foot snagged on the ground. What followed was a vicious landing like right out of NASCAR. The robot crashed and flipped chaotically, breaking up the concrete and dirt from the city floor as it crashed in a spectacular fashion.

The sound was impossible to ignore. As the robots flipped in the air and it’s arms failed like a rag doll, Masaru’s eyes flipped wide open. He let go of his controller as it skid up dust, possibly killing sonic as it rocketed into a wall, bashing it’s head cavity on it before slumping down.

“You damn adults...” Masaru growled, brushing off some bruises and strawberries he got from his ditch. “You always ruin everything. But I won’t hide. Not now, not ever again!”

He reached into a now broken open segment of Mark Guyver’s hip. Drawing out a battered looking steel baseball bat, he growled, hoisting it over his shoulder.

“You...you are going to die! DIE! DIE DIE DIE!!!!”

Masaru had a bloodlust in his voice, the kid rushing at Undyne with ferocity. The savage look in his eyes were followed up by a strike with his baseball bat right toward her skull!

Red

Red was stunned in silence. Before his eyes the ninja had been vanquished, falling to the ground with a metallic *pank*. Red’s tremors had ceased, instead being replaced with a deep set look of surprise. His voice began to eek out.

“He...He tried to talk to you...” he nervously spoke to scorpion. “H-He...He just wanted to set things right...and you killed him!”

Red balled up his fist, drawing out a golden staff that was previously concealed within his sleeve. For once the shy and kind Red had begun to stand up for himself. Getting a determined expression, he pointed the wand at him.

“I won’t let you get away with that!!”

Suddenly, the staff roared to life as a swirl of flame erupted from it, sending the grunge ducking for even further cover. The flames crackled toward Scorpion as if they had a mind of their own, trying to wrap their burning appendage around him.

Green

“Huh...These keys do seem to be important...” Green tried to put together. “And they give a lot of power. Since we can’t exactly break into that place, why don’t we get some keys of our own? That would surely let us get inside and take the rest! We shouldn’t give up on this after just one shot!”

Green was determined. Eggman had evil intentions, and by the looks of that ship, he wasn’t stopping any time soon. He needed to take care of him before this got out of hand. And with all these faces here, he knew they could win!

Ice Cap Badniks
The badniks quickly took notice of a small trio as soon as they landed, and prepared to fight. As one of them fired darts at them, two massive gray and yellow robots (Egg Guardians) took the hits for the rest of the group. They took some damage from the electric attack but took it like champs since they were some of the most durable badniks. Then, they launched their fists at the one who attacked them, which would do good damage if they landed. (The fists also home in on their target.) Then, four green, relatively humanoid robots with jetpacks flew above the rest of the pack (Aero-Chasers) and fired powerful lasers at the other two members of the trio. While this was happening, two Egg Fighters punted two Egg Flames, one each, behind the trio. Once the Egg Flames landed, they did two things, one each. One of them spewed fire directly at the trio, while the other spewed fire at the ice beneath them, hoping to melt it.

Neo Metal Sonic
(This was discussed.) Metal suddenly stopped glowing in the stasis tube, although he looked different. He now had 5 long quills with white stripes in the center, 3 of them jetting upwards and 2 jetting downwards diagonally. The yellow color in his ears was now red, and he had more pronounced body armor. He had black and curved shoulder plates, larger gauntlets, and leg armor with pointy knee caps that had white outlines. He activated again, his eyes appearing on what was previously a blank screen. The stasis tube's containment field deactivated, and Metal opened the tube, allowing him to leave. He landed on the floor with a clank and observed his surroundings. He noticed a new stasis tube next to his. Strange.
He walked out of the room and to Eggman's, hoping for a new assignment. He needed to find Sonic again, and destroy him in his new form.
He noticed a different robot in the room as well when he walked in. He'd never seen this robot before, but it looked advanced. He looked at Eggman, awaiting instructions.

Dr. Eggman
Eggman looked back at the two robots who entered and grinned. "Well, if it isn't my two favorite robots. Welcome back to the team, Gamma! Now, I have an assignment for both of you. Metal, I have another key location for you. I'll send the coordinates to you now." He said before giving him the exact coordinates of the key. Metal, getting the coordinates, nodded and exit the room. "Gamma, your mission is a special one. There's a strange energy signal coming from the area close to here." He said, gesturing outside towards the rather spooky-looking place in the distance. "However, it's considerably weaker there so we can't pinpoint it. I'd like you to do some recon there and see what it is, if anything at all."
@Shen: King of the Mist

Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic's eyes also widened as Mark Guvyer came crashing towards them. "Oh shoot!" He said before leaping upwards. However, Mark Guvyer was rather large and he had little time to react, so he couldn't reach full height. He had to improvise. Instead of crashing on top of Mark Guvyer, he landed on him and began running across him, jumping in sync with his flips. Then, right before the robot crashed, he jumped off as he had reached the edge. While he did all this, he held on to the controller that Masaru had let go of. While the robot was probably down for good this time, he pressed the rather obvious power button just in case. He then stomped on the remote, breaking it.
He couldn't see Undyne or Masaru in the dust cloud, so he just had to hope they were both okay.
(Not tagging because I didn't really do anything interaction-wise.)

Knuckles (Didn't forget this time.)
Knuckles growled at the blue gremlin. "Whatever-" He began to say before a large shadow cast over them. Knuckles looked up and recognized the thing above them. The Egg Carrier! "WHAT?!" He growled. "Eggman's here too?! What is going on...." However, before he could think about it much more, the Egg Carrier began to fly away. He wasn't gonna let Eggman get away! "I'll deal with you later! ......Again." He told Blue for a second time, before sprinting and jumping off the island, beginning to glide to the Egg Carrier.

Aegislash
Aegislash did his weird makeshift nod again as the man in armor congratulated him and Mushroom. As they went up to the treasure, the man began tossing aside gold. Weird, he came across as someone who would like gold. Aegislash didn't really care for any of that, he didn't need it. He didn't eat or drink, so he didn't need it for that. And he didn't need any luxuries that humans seemed to be so reliant on.
So, he just observed his companions.
@comic @ArmedBlue (Not really, but thought it was obligatory to tag.)

Gengar
Gengar grinned and chuckled evilly as the conflict began. To the others, this was simply him showing his excitement, but he was actually using Nasty Plot. Now he was two times more powerful. He threw 3 Shadow Balls at Fire Man, hoping to stop him or at least get him to drop their now golden friend. (Sorry that this section is so long.)

Undyne - Urban District (Mark Guyver Battle)
Pavement lay shattered beneath her as she stood firm, watching the mech barrel chaotically through the town, Sonic helming it before they faded into a cloud of dust and debris. The brat started to throw a tantrum, his robot in ruins, his controller gone from his grasp. He was at the end of his rope now.
He charged at Undyne threateningly, screaming at her to die as he reared a baseball bat to strike her.

The Captain stepped to the side, and Masaru flailed uselessly past her, which only seemed to infuriate him even more. Her gaze upon him was stern and cold... but also undeciding. She couldn't figure out what to do with him as she dodged again, causing the boy to stumble in an attempt to hit her again.
She readied her spear to crack his skull in two, but as he neared and her opportunity came... she instead parried his attack, spinning him out of her way. The boy was clearly humiliated as he failed to strike her once, and she continued this process, indulging in an internal argument. She hated this brat. He was a human, but worse than that, he embodied everything she'd believed humans capable of- though that didn't go without saying that she'd created presumption to what humans were like. There was the facts she'd been taught, then what she'd seen from anime. There were good humans, bad humans, and those between.

This child, he had condoned- possibly even ordered -the deaths of countless people. Fortunately, it didn't seem people could die here. They became trophies, but somehow that seemed even worse. To have these innocent people brought back only to inflict more pain on them? To torture people just because of their age? That actually seemed a lot more tame than her hatred for humanity... but lately, she found herself realizing her only hatred for humans was... preconceived notions. Things she'd been taught. She'd been raised to hate them.
Did this punk have the same excuse? Was he as lost as she'd been?
Perhaps he was sorely misguided, though that didn't excuse his actions. He took pleasure in the suffering of others just because they were different, then had the audacity to refer to himself as a hero. Didn't he know he'd grow into adulthood one day? Would he kill himself out of shame then?

Masaru's next blow was once again blocked by the spear, but she twisted the bat out of his grip, which fell to the ground as her other hand deftly shoved the boy flat onto his rear.
Undyne stared at him, her spear clutched tightly in her hand. "Congratulations." She told him. "You're now a 'hero' who needs saving. Ironic, isn't it."
Her spear vanished from her hand as the monster glanced toward the cloud of debris that Sonic had yet to emerge from. He was probably fine. She assumed.

Her glare returned to Masaru. "Don't mistake the fact that you're still breathing as weakness on my part. I just need to know why you're doing this. Why you hate anybody over a certain age. You do realize you'll be an adult one day too, right? I mean, I've watched a lot of anime with some crazy villains, but you? You're a psychopath. You kill indiscriminately against any you deem as an adult because... why? Because you assume you're better than them? I hate to burst your bubble, kid, but just because you have power doesn't mean you can dictate shit. And to call yourself a hero for that?" She scoffed, shaking her head. "You're messed up if you think that's true. A hero is somebody who protects the innocent from those who would harm them. A villain does what you do."
Before Masaru could make any replies, Undyne pointed her hand down one of the streets, where children in Monokuma masks could be seen still turning innocent people into trophies again and again.
"Tell me, and be honest. Does that look like something a hero should allow?"

Scorpion - Ravaged Battlefield (Covenant Phantom)
He had hoped the child wouldn't do anything. Sub-Zero was his only enemy, and now that he had finally won... well, this foolish child had no idea what the pyromancer was capable of. Almost calmly, Sub-Zero turned to face Red's attack, pulling down his mask to reveal a skeletal mouth that opened wide, and to anyone's horror, the fire conjured began to shift and contort before being pulled down Scorpion's throat, smoke rising from his face as he literally consumed Red's attack.
"This is not a fight you can-" He was interrupted as a ball of shade slammed into him, but before the other two could strike, he opened his mouth and unleashed the torrent of fire Red had given him, which cancelled out the remaining attacks before Scorpion concealed his mouth as he landed, narrowing his dead eyes. "I have what I came for." He stated, before he knelt, grasping onto Sub-Zero's trophy, and the both of them vanished in a torrent of flames that appeared to consume them.

For a moment, it seemed both of the ninjas were gone, and the grunts were cheering over their victory, until the open side of their Phantom revealed a horrible truth. Several dozen meters away, another phantom had risen to their level. It appeared to be an alternate version, with larger, heavier guns, and adorning a scarlet makeover.
Its own side was open, revealing the distant Scorpion on board, several of the hulking brutish ape-like aliens surrounded him. Perhaps it had been to taunt them, as the opposing Phantom's doors closed and it started to rise before firing all three of its guns upon the Phantom our heroes were on.
"But my wife and kid!" One grunt cried. "No, I had wife and kid. You had food nipple." Jajab replied before their vessel began to shake violently under the torrent of fire from the opposing Phantom. The plasma being used was tearing away at the hull, and the dropship began to fall from the sky as an explosion rocked it. It was barely functional and still taking relentless fire, making it clear that this ship was about to erupt at any second. Gengar was probably Red's best hope of getting out of the carnage safely, but that window was closing fast as another explosion destroyed the cockpit, killing the three gathered grunts within instantly- or rather, transforming them into trophies.

Hunter recalled Brachio to have it dodge the blast and was about to release Krona, but Lola had already put out the fire. "Good job Lola." Complimenting the A.I., the boy listened to what Cortana found out about Dr. Eggman. "Fried chicken huh? Can we do anything with that? Maybe we can dress Coatlus up as a giant drumstick or something." He joked before Green brought up an interesting point. "That's indeed a possibility, but where are we going to find a key? While Undyne was trying to impart her ideal in the kid, he reached for his bat. But he had been in the position before...somewhere else, sometime else. Cornered. No where to run. An adult looming overhead ready to strike him.

What...this feeling...

Masaru, getting up after a failed attempt to kill Undyne with his bat, looked to his left arm. It was...trembling? He was showing signs of fear. Gritting his teeth, he glared at his quaking hand before...

*Smack!*

He punched his arm, forming a bruise near instantly. The shakes still remained.

*Smack!* *Smack!*

Two additional bruises formed, but his still shivered nonetheless.

“I’m not A-A-fraid of you...!”

He then punched his arm again and again, the arm turning purple and black from the damage he was doing to it. Suddenly, the shivers began to cease.

“...”

“He....heh...”

“...Hehe...HeheHAHAHAHAH!!”

Masaru cackled like a hyena, his eyes swirled and distorted. It looked like he had finally lost it. Raising his bat and letting his limp arm dangle, he glared directly at Undyne.

“Adults will no longer hurt us, or cause us any more pain! When they all die...when YOU die, we have nothing to fear! A hero NEVER loses, no matter how dark it looks. I’m a HERO! You hear me?! A HEROOOO!!!!!!”

“Huh? Where’d he-“

Red hadn’t long to think, as his section was blown out by a plasma torrent. The boy was sucked out, but not before hitting his head on the bulkhead on his way out. Mid flight, he was transformed into a trophy as he began to free-fall down.

“Orders received.”

And just like that, the droid had got up, moving down the halls of the egg carrier. It made its way to a hangar, several dozens of pawns in formations. He walked passed them and leaped out of the opening. It’s circular jet disc kicked on as the thrust let him glide down. He would be en route to this new location. The doctor was right, the signal was faint.

“Fine, whatever. I’ll get off too-“

That’s when Blue looked at his current situation. That’s when he suddenly came to a realization. The camera zoomed out, an arrow pointing to Angel islands isolated position.

Knuckles was already gliding away. Getting peeved at this, Blue growled, running up and leaping after him. Snagging his foot, he dangled from him, he weight starting to bring them down.

“Don’t think your getting away that easy without me!”

Ori remained frozen, unsure of his next action, until a strange looking creature appeared out of nowhere and swiped the knight statue before floating off. Ori's eyes widened and he jumped at the statue, just missing as it disappeared with the jester. Ori picked himself up, confused.
What was that?

Buzzwole flexed proudly, taking to the skies, leaving the projectile barrage to the two humans as he rose. Buzzwole flexed again, before making a beeline (kek) towards one of the egg guardians, swinging his fist to pulverize it.

Kirby-What used to be a jungle
Kirby let out a squeak as his approach was deflected by the blade. Kirby bounced on the ash covered floor once before catching himself. This person wasn't going to let him take his friend without a fight, unfortunately. He didn't want to, but it looked like he needed force to get him back. Kirby inhaled, preparing his energy before unleashing a geyser of water from his mouth, hoping the force would knock the other person out.
If it even hit.

Dark Matter-Angel Island
The dark being looked at the shadow imp, thinking. If he must...
He didn't want to waste any energy unnecessarily, but his current form wasn't all that powerful. Luckily the key had given him enough power to change.
"If you truly want to see..."
Dark Matter suddenly sprouted another ball of darkness from his body. A cloak formed from his dark depths, covering the bottom ball as the top grew a visor and spiky....hair?
Once those were formed a sword followed suit, floating in front of Dark Matter, no, Dark Swordsman, faintly glowing a rainbow hue(s?)...
"This feels...much better." Dark Matter sighed.

Gunvolt - Ice Cap Zone

Two bulkier robots had taken the darts and shocks for their comrades, handling the attacks rather well. Gunvolt rushed at the machines the moment they launched their fists, keeping his Flashfield up to block the projectiles. They drifted along its surface before zooming off at an angle, enough so that Audrey wouldn't have to worry about those, at least for the time being. He noticed them curve towards him when they were first shot out, so he expected them to go for the girl next. Whatever, she'd be fine.

His Flashfield's electricity shot out towards the Egg Guardians as he ran, continuing to deal damage to them due to their tagged status. He planned to take the bigger robots out before moving on to the smaller ones, a strategy that Swole seemed to agree with, flying towards one of them to deliver a powerful punch.

The Azure Striker noticed several green robots fire lasers at the others, attacking right back by firing one dart at each of them. He didn't expect them to land, but forcing them to dodge would buy his allies time to counterattack. He was now nearing one of the Egg Guardians, the one Swole had ignored in favor of the other one. The teen summoned a Dragonsphere in his free hand, jumping up to deliver a full speed, electric attack right to the machine's chest!

Copen - Mountains

"Aaand done!" Lola exclaimed proudly, having put out all the fires in the vicinity rather quickly. She flew around the group as Cortana told them about this 'Robotnik' guy in great detail, like she knew all about him just from hacking through his systems. She was without a doubt incredibly advanced, something Lola could only hope to be one day.

Copen was more focused on the key part of the A.I.'s explanation. Her 'wild theory' seemed plausible to him, all things considered. That Nexus device clearly held some hidden purpose, and seeing as Eggman had managed to summon an entire fleet with what he suspected to be one of the keys, he was sure they were connected in some way. Once Cortana was done with her speech, he listened to the others give their thoughts. Green was eager to go as always, while Hunter wondered how they were even supposed to be able to find a key. A valid concern, one that was discarded by the teen as he thought of a plan, thinking back to when Eggman had first used his key.

"Those keys have unique energy signatures. Not that strong when not in use, but still noticeable even at a long distance. Cortana, you were able to perform a wide-search to locate one of Green's brothers using his bio signs, correct? Think you can do that using one of Eggman's keys' signatures?" He asked the Spartan's A.I. companion, wanting to find out if his theory was true.

The Knight - Rivet Ravine (No longer Mega Aggron's Lair)

The Vessel's attention was directed towards a pile of gold once guarded by the giant metal beast, who had strangely become a trophy. The man in armor began tossing the gold aside, believing there to be a secret treasure hidden somewhere beneath or behind it. Well, treasures hidden behind piles of treasure weren't unheard of...

Curious as to what could possibly be hidden behind the pile of gold, the Knight walked over to the human and began helping him with the gold, using its nail to knock the gold away and thus uncover whatever was hidden there quicker. If there even was anything, that is.

Giant Lola - Urban District

Sumeragi's now berserk tank moved through the streets, wreaking havoc wherever it went. Cars and humans were crushed beneath its wheels at it kept moving erratically, moving back and forth and to the sides for seemingly no reason. Anything it deemed prey was quickly targeted by it, the children rushing inside getting its attention. The constantly shifting dark energy located in front of it kept shooting out towards the buildings the kids and Monokumas took refuge in. No one would be spared, destruction was its only goal!

Undyne - Urban District
She'd have to plea insanity on his behalf, the kid was unhinged. More than she'd assumed at first. He began slapping himself silly and laughing maniacally. It was almost as though he were convincing himself against what she'd said. Trying to forget what she'd told him.
This was one of the reasons why she was Captain of the Royal Guard. She had to make the tough choices. The hard calls. Papyrus, damn his innocence, she knew how capable he could be, but the sweet kindness he possessed made it impossible for him to do what she was about to.

Closing her eye for a moment, she let out a sigh of breath, almost out of pity for Masaru as he lunged toward her, swinging wildly, intent on murder, his eyes deranged in that moment. He was so easily broken. She parried his attack, though that didn't seem to delay his advances as he quickly recovered.
Taking a step back, she blocked blow after blow before another step back proved painful as her leg nearly gave out. She glanced down to see that a gash ran down her leg, and her ankle was bent... oddly. She must have been given this from her conflict with the mech, and only now was she noticing it with her adrenaline dying down.

Masaru had taken advantage of her momentary distraction, bashing the bat against her arm. Her fist clenched as she took another step back, wincing now as her spear was blown from her grasp, easily replaced by a second as she blocked his next flurry of blows. She was tired. After having dispatched dozens of Monokumas and a whole damn mech, this little side scuffle that should have been a clean and decisive win was now pushing her. His maddened state was taking advantage of her weakened one, yet even still she was barely making an effort to fight back, maintaining her defensive status.
"You're right about one thing, kid." She winced, stepping on her broken leg again. "A hero never loses. No matter how dark it gets." She twirled her spear with finesse, knocking a blow aside before the tip cut across Masaru's cheek, breaking the skin lightly as its twirl continued, the back end hitting more directly than the tip as it knocked him down to a knee, the ground beneath him beginning to glow a deep shade of blue.

"But you're wrong everywhere else. I am the hero, and I will strike down this villain. Once and for all."

Master Chief - The Mountains
"Way ahead of you, actually." Cortana stated to Copen's words. "Shortly after I learned about the keys, and developed my theory, I began poking around for types of energy signatures, and wouldn't you know it, seven with identical readings to the Nexus appeared. Faint, but they're there. Two are currently with Robotnik's fleet, so I'm guessing his third wasn't as easy to get. Five others are scattered around, one of which happens to be really close to us- outside of the fleet of hostile ships. Green, it's on the same island your brother is on." Cortana informed them as Chief's HUD pinged the floating Angel Island, which was now very close to them.
"Just one problem." Cortana continued. "Chief and I can't go with you there. His suit weighs too much to carry, and we don't have transportation."

"It means we'll need to split up again." John stated. "Cortana and I will seek out further ones while the three of you retrieve the two on the island, if you can. Besides, you need your family." He nodded toward Green, before turning around. It was abrupt and sudden- but situations like these didn't offer much build up for these kinds of decisions. He personally wasn't sure about leaving them with this task, he didn't want them to get hurt, but it was the fastest and simplest way to go about doing this.
"Keep your comms on you." He advised. "Keep in touch." With that, he began to walk away, leaving the three children and Lola with their task he'd given. Secure the key, and hopefully they wouldn't be decimated by Robotnik. It wasn't going to be easy for them, by any means, but they were on the clock now.
The mission was simple. Keep Eggman from collecting all the keys. They didn't have all the intel they needed, but it was obvious that nothing good would come of Eggman succeeding.

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (What Once Belonged To Mega Aggron)
Mounds of money were scooped out of the way by the Nord, but his search was proving fruitless. Perhaps the beast had only been guarding these mounds of treasures? Maybe this detour hadn't been as fruitfull as he'd hoped.
But these doubts were cast aside the moment he pulled aside another mound of gold, and found something intriguing previously hidden beneath. A lever.
"Knew it." He chuckled triumphantly to himself, grabbing it and yanking without a second thought.

The cave rumbled around them, and he stepped back to watch as the back wall of the stone cavern began to lift, revealing a hidden tunnel behind it. The Dragonborn gave a knowing nod, glancing at his companions. "The real treasure awaits." He informed them, and took the lead once again, bringing them through the thin mouth of the tunnel down a winding path that was uncomfortably cramped (not for Mushroom for obvious reasons) until it began to widen, berthing into a long, tall cavern that extended for what seemed like forever. The path beneath their feet came to a dead end at a pool of water that went along the length of the cavern. And in the distance? In this great lake that expanded before them? A strange, supernatural light shone down, casting an angelic beam upon the center of this chasm. At the end of that light sat a small patch of stone, atop it sat something small and shiny, glinting light from the beam.

The Nord stopped at the edge of the water, staring out across the lake. "Small treasure." He commented. "That means it's an artifact. Powerful." He guessed, based on prior experience with similar situations. "Yet out there..." His eyes searched the water. "The metal beast wasn't the only thing guarding it. Something else is here to protect it. Perhaps it's best we don't touch the water."

Masaru’s fantasy was being ripped away from him. Losing to this adult, and having her spit on his hero title and revoke it, only to wear it herself? No. This was too far.

“Well I don’t think we should be splitting up. Eggman may come back in stronger force and we’d be picked off” Green spoke.

"Cortana and I will seek out further ones while the three of you retrieve the two on the island, if you can. Besides, you need your family."

These words stuck with Green, the elf boy slowly nodding along. It wasn’t a pleasant solution, but in the end the Chief was right.

“We’ll meet you soon, yeah? Take care of yourself Chief.”

He waved as Chief said his goodbye. Looking up at Angel island itself, Green scratched his head before looking to Hunter.

“Say, got one of those creatures that could have us fly up there? Or is that guy still tired?”

As Chief walked away out of eyesight from the group, there was a rustling in the bushes. Someone or something was inside the thicket. Suddenly, a man burst out, a man, no older than twenty, decked out in UNSC Marine armor. He took deep breaths, his armor looking charred from the recent fire.

“That...was tiring...” he panted, looking up. He blinked, not expecting to see who was right before him. “Is that...are you-“

Clearing his throat, he quickly rose to attention, saluting Chief where he stood.

Master Chief - The Mountains
Some distance had been covered by the time something appeared out of seemingly nowhere. What was even stranger about this 'something' was that it was a Marine. A UNSC Marine. When he recognized the Spartan, he fumbled into a salute, at which John instinctively replied with; "at ease" before the words had even crossed his mind.
He was confused, staring at the Marine. It was impossible he'd been on the Forward Unto Dawn. Only he and the Arbiter had been aboard, and when it had ripped in half, John had been left behind with Cortana adrift in deep space. Not to mention the absolute wreckage he had left behind when the half-ship had crashed on this planet.

So that meant this Marine had to have come from somewhere else, which wasn't too hard to believe after everything Chief had seen today. It was actually welcoming to see something familiar. His gaze scanned Private Harrison's charred armor and soot-covered face. What had he come from? The fire caused by Metal Sonic hadn't been widespread enough to affect this man and allow him to go unnoticed. He had been running, that was clear. From what? Unclear. He knew Cortana was already working on figuring that out, with or without any verbal affirmations.
So John said the one thing that would give him answers. Hopefully, at least. He was sure this Marine was just as confused by this world as the Spartan still was.
"Status report." He ordered.

Undyne - Urban District
Masaru's lunge went in vain as he failed to notice the glowing cyan beneath him. When the spears shot up, they were glowing a somewhat lighter shade of blue than her usual ones, signifying the type of magic she was using on them, which made them impossible to break or pass if moving. Where her usual spears could be touched, these ones sent a current of energy into Masaru the moment he touched them, shocking him into the center of the ring she'd formed.

Undyne kept the walls up as a golden arrow appeared in her palm, pulsing with energy. "If you're so sure about that..." She breathed, before her gaze hardened, and any pity was gone. "Then quit whining and DIE like a hero!" With the snap of her finger, the golden arrow began to bounce about Masaru, moving faster than ones eye could track, shifting directions every half second as it bounced like a ricocheting bullet, aiming to slash Masaru from every angle in a relentless pursuit before it would eventually impale his middle. If it succeeded, the fight would be over.
If it didn't, she had plenty more to spare.

Jevil
As the Knight jabbed forward defiantly, a spade appeared out of nowhere in front of Jevil, blocking the sword. Jevil said one thing before chaos ensued: "Shame." Jevil pulled the scythe towards him, hoping to decapitate the Knight. If this didn't work, Jevil would fly upwards quickly, and the circle of spades would close in on the Knight and the bombs would drop. These bombs would detonate as soon as they touched something. The explosions would do damage equivalent to standard bombs, and four hearts would come out of each, spinning in a square towards the Knight.

Aegislash
Aegislash’s eye darted towards the wall the instant it opened. Huh, hidden passage. He should’ve known, those were rather common in caves. He followed his comrades into the rather tight space, having to turn 90 degrees to the left and fly like that so that he didn’t take up too much space. (Aegislash is a rather large sword.) However, he didn’t have to do this for very long since the space quickly opened up into a large cavern. The man in armor advised against touching the water, so they would have to find a way around. Or... (Aegislash is probably about to break some sort of law of physics.) Aegislash’s sword suddenly extended until it was over 5 times longer than usual. Aegislash then slowly brought the sword over to his allies and tipped it down a bit. He once again began to radiate dark energy, telling the man in armor his plan. “This feels awkward but it’s probably the easiest and quietest option. You and Mushroom should get on my sword and I’ll float us across the water.”

The Urban District
Suddenly, the TVs in the city were hijacked again. The image of the Eggman Empire appeared on the screen, then it showed Eggman himself sitting in a chair. “Your regular programming of doomsday announcements have been interrupted by this doomsday announcement. I’m afraid the area you all are standing in is about to be demolished in the name of the Eggman Empire. Please experience your preferred amount of pain and terror during the following.” He said before the screen cut to the Eggman Empire logo once again. The logo didn’t go away this time though.

Then, 5 robots over three times larger than an apartment building each came crashing down from the sky, crushing anything and anyone unfortunate enough to be in their landing zone. (None of them landed too close to any important characters.) The robots were equally spread throughout the city to wreak as much havoc as possible. These robots had egg-shaped bodies with a narrow pelvis each, stubby and heavily armored legs, thin arms with cone-like forearms, thick gauntlets, cap-shaped shoulders attached to bars rather than sockets, three straight spikes for fingers and jet packs on their backs. They also had triangular markings on their chest and dome-shaped heads. The faces of the robots were almost blank, with the exception of a single red eye and a red field for a mouth. They were also completely gray and black with glowing red outlines. These were Death Egg Robot Sentinels. Additionally, small red ships could be seen flying above the city, dropping badniks everywhere and doing some damage themselves by shooting lasers at buildings.
Somehow, there was now even more chaos then before.

Neo Metal Sonic
Metal came across a large, rather rocky area with a large ravine in the center. The signal was coming from a cave along the ravine. Metal didn’t hesitate, flying into the cave. After a bit of flying, he came across a large room, a fallen metal beast in the center. Metal scanned the beast, gathering info. He then moved on to another passage. That’s when he came across another large room, although this time there were other creatures there. He stayed in the small hallway-like passage, and suddenly turned into a puddle of pink liquid. Out of that liquid came a rock. Just a rock. It was definitely not a bloodthirsty metal hedgehog lookalike in disguise. The rock simply sat there, being a rock. For now anyway.

Knuckles
The small gremlin boy suddenly jumped on top of Knuckles, causing him to start falling more than gliding. “What are you doing? You’re messing up my balance!” He said, but the boy held tight. Knuckles growled, realizing he clearly wasn’t going to make it to the Egg Carrier at this rate. So, he turned his focus to landing safely. He looked down and noticed a field of tall pink grass, and aimed for that. “Hang on!” He said, before he stopped gliding, rapidly speeding up their descent. However, right before they reached the ground, he began to glide again, slowing their descent enough so he didn’t shatter his legs when he landed. They landed on the ground with a loud thud, stirring up dust and dirt. Knuckles brushed himself off. “You good?” He asked the boy.

Sonic
As the dust settled, Sonic’s eyes quickly widened as he saw what was happening. Undyne was trying to kill Masaru! Gengar looked back and forth between the ship above him and Elf Boy for a few seconds, before grunting in annoyance and flying off the ship rather quickly. He proved to be much faster than he looked, reaching Elf Boy quickly. He caught the trophy and flew down with it. When they landed, Gengar began to observe the trophy. “Gar....?” He said, poking Elf Boy’s golden head. Nothing. He kicked the base of the statue, hoping that would do something.

Ice Cap Badniks
the four Aero-Chasers firing at the others simply floated upwards to avoid the darts, and made a series of beeps that sounded like condescending laughter, then continued to fire their lasers. Two More Aero-Chasers appeared, one flying in front of the Egg Guardian #1,(The one Buzzwole is attacking.) the other to Egg Guardian #2(The one Gunvolt is attacking). The Aero-Chaser in front of Egg Guardian Number #1 had an Egg Flame in hand. The Egg Flame spewed large and powerful flames at Buzzwole, hoping to incinerate him or force him to move, which would allow the others to attack him more easily. The Aero-Chaser in front of Egg Guardian #2 had an Egg Blizzard in hand. The Egg Blizzard activated, spewing extremely cold air that would freeze Gunvolt solid if he didn’t move. If he got hit by the move, several Egg Bursts would latch onto the frozen Gunvolt and explode, doing major damage. If he dodged, none of this would happen.

"Coatlus should be relatively rested, but I think I found a way to let Coatlus fly less and save energy. I can have Brachio throw us far away and have Coatlus catch us in the air. I've done this before at Vivosaur Island, it's going to be totally save. Plus, Coatlus mostly glides which also saves energy. If we do this smart, Coatlus should be able to get us wherever we want to go. After that, I'm going to have to let her rest a while. It's exhausting to keep between 440 and 551 pounds airborne whilst having passengers." Hunter told the remaining members of the group as Brachio once again hit the scene. "Brachio's got a heck of a pitch, sadly there's no baseball with vivosaurs or else I'd dominate them." To no one's surprise, there was no life to be found on the Ice Cap and Prometheus was getting bored. He wished to fight, but his stabilizer was messed up and it could very well be his death. Sure, he'd die in three days time, but he didn't want to die in a battle that he knew he could win. He couldn't die as long as that man was alive, he would not grant him that satisfaction. He'd die by the hands of his own creation, Prometheus would make sure of that. That's when he heard the sounds of a fight. Making his way over towards the fight scene, the Reploid hid behind a chunk of ice and watched the battle unfold. Machines versus humans, or were they reploids? The one in blue seemed to be able to control electricity, just like Pandora. Maybe it was for the better that he didn't intervene, as lightning attacks always managed to mess him up quite badly. Those robots were nowhere as sleek as he was, but they packed some respectable power. They had to come from somewhere, and their creator probably was quite gifted to make these. Perhaps if he could get on their side, the creator could get rid of that blasted timer. A spark of hope, something he didn't know he could still feel, ignited his inner fire. He had to get on the good side of those robots, all he needed was the right moment to strike.

Why am I backed up!? I'm the hero, not a weakling hiding!
Audrey, to her own thoughts, finally charged forward.

As the attacks came, Audrey closed her eyes, worried a little but not wanting to show it.

The fist homing towards her clanged against her sword as she reflected it, causing her to slide back. Grunting, she rushed forward again, using her dash to dodge the beams, finally going to fire her lightning to chain between the higher Aero-Chasers and going to slash the Aero-Chaser in front of Egg Guardian #2, jumping up and aiming to slash down as she landed, trying to cut the robot straight down the middle.

The teen didn't expect one of the Aero-Chasers to fly in front of him, carrying a smaller robot in its hands. The Azure Striker's speed meant he kept moving toward the machines, causing his Dragonsphere to impact the Egg Blizzard, taking it out and dealing a bit of damage to the Aero-Chaser holding it.

Disabling his Flashfield as to conserve EP, Gunvolt fell back down before sliding under the flying robot, leaving it for Audrey to take out. Focused again on the Egg Guardian he planned to destroy, he built up speed so he'd slide under the bigger robot as well. Once he'd done so, he'd jump at the machine's back and try to hold onto it. He would then unleash a Crashbolt while point-blank, lightning slamming down on both of them to deliver a powerful shock.

He told the Spartan as he took his leave, going out of sight after a bit. The teen's attention was now on Hunter, who told them a more energy efficient way to get to the floating island, which was closer than ever. Apparently, it involved being chucked up there by one of his vivosaurs: Brachio. Well, as long as it got them up there...

"We suuure got our tickets! All aboard the not quite extinct Brachio!" Lola exclaimed as the vivosaur lowered its head, Copen getting on top of it. The maneuver seemed a little bit risky, but Hunter said he had experience with it. Couldn't go wrong if that was the case, right?

The Knight - Rivet Ravine (Hidden Cavern)

The Vessel followed close behind all the way through the secret tunnel, which eventually got them to a cavern filled with water. A bright light was present in the distance, likely to be the treasure they had worked hard for. The man in armor was wary of the water, perhaps he'd had a bad experience with it or something. If they touched the water, things probably wouldn't go well.

Slash seemed to have a plan, extending his sword a great distance as to be used like a platform. Perfect. The bug jumped on top of the extended sword, giving the floating weapon a nod. The Knight weighed very little, so Slash wouldn't have a problem carrying it. The human, though... that would prove a bit more difficult. Hopefully Slash could handle it.

A new faction had joined the fray as five huge robots were dropped throughout the city, aiming to cause even more chaos. One of the huge, gray, egg shaped robots landed not too far from the Giant Lola, who fidgeted at the sight of the new machine.

Its thrusters flared up at full power, launching the machine towards the massive robot. The dark energy it generated shot out toward the new enemy, aiming to catch it by surprise so Sumeragi's mech could ram into it at full speed!
