Psyduck scowled at the humanoid that was behind the barbaric burning of the botanical beauty. If there were three things he hated, it was humans, fire types, and puffballs with spears. He also watched as the latter rushed the former, only for the puffball to be sent careening into the forest. The Duck nodded at Vio's plan, and performed a combat roll behind a large rock. As his temporary teammate distracted the target, he charged up an ice beam, and the intensity of the situation began to make his head start to ache a bit...

Field of Hopes and Dreams
The Knight tilted its head slightly, displeased but intrigued by the cautiousness of this creature. Standing up slowly, as he did most non-combat related things, he let a few silent moments go by before marching forward once again, sword dragging in the dirt. He outstretched his arm towards the creature while still several feet away, attempting to communicate peace.

Gunvolt - Ice Cap Zone

After some more walking, the trio had finally arrived at the ice area where the first key was supposed to be. It was strange how the green plains from earlier led directly into this new area filled with frost, which led Gunvolt to believe that these areas had been put together at random. The area was extremely cold, the Azure Striker covering his body in a thin layer of electricity to keep himself warm. Numerous icebergs could be seen all over the place.

"Alright, let's take a look around. That key could be anywhere, so keep an eye out for anything suspicious or out of place." The teen told the group, before walking off towards one of the nearby icebergs. Thinking the key could possibly be inside one, he shot out a blast of electricity at it, leaving a decently sized hole in it. No key inside, unfortunately. He kept trying with several others in his vicinity to no avail. Maybe finding it would prove a bit more difficult than he anticipated...

"Wait GV, I'm sensing something." Joule spoke up, the Azure Striker stopping in his tracks. Her Septima allowed her to sense things on occasion, could it be the key? "It's high up, coming towards us!" She warned, Gunvolt directing his gaze up to the sky. Sure enough, someone in blue was flying east high above. He could discern some of its features, eyes widening as he recognized the being. The first familiar face from the tournament. Metal Sonic! Knowing the robot was in this world too gave him some hope. Perhaps Masaru, Bowie and Dee had ended up here as well?

That thought was for later though, since it seemed like Metal had the key in its hands! Not wanting to let it get away with it, Gunvolt shot several electric streams towards the airborne robot, aiming to intercept its flight path. "I think that robot up there has the key! Don't let it get away!" He told the others as he launched his attack.

Copen - Mountains

Watching the robots send a boulder down in front of the Warthog's path, Copen jumped off the vehicle and performed a Bullit Dash over the boulder safely, hovering as blue flames came out of his boots, as well as the attachment on his back. "Definitely hostile. I'll take care of the aerial ones." He told the team over comms, as he propelled himself towards one of the airborne Egg Cannons, Lola and the P-Bits following right behind him.

The P-Bits got in a triangular formation as they launched Stellar Spark towards the robot, while Copen attempted to tag it with his gun, a pinkish trail following the weapon. If the tag succeeded, a light marker resembling a pink X would appear on the robot, the P-Bits would home in on it and encase it in an electric field to deal greater damage to it.

Audrey Redheart
Ice Cap Zone

Audrey had to grit her teeth to hide her reaction the cold...just as bad as mountain Ichor, she realised, which she found quite surprising considering a factor in the cold there was the thin air. Still, she did her best to focus, snapped back to attention by Gunvolt's words.
"R-right..." She responded, shuddering at the cold as she shuffled her scarf up to keep warm as she looked around, mostly to the ground, her grip on her sword tightening as she heard Gunvolt sending out blasts of electricity, glad her blade was charged...she had to ready, right?

"Huh?" She looked up as Joule talked, gasping in surprise at the strange flying blue thing. That didn't seem good...and kinda snobby. At least walk like the rest of us, she thought to herself, annoyed.

"I can do that!" Audrey yelled as she shot out lightning from her sword, immediately charging it again and firing. "How is that thing that fast!?" She angrily yelled as continued her attack process.

"Dueling? AHAHAHAHAHAH! You really think that you can keep up, let alone duel with me? My name is Prometheus, the Grim Reaper. You however, shall call me your murderer! Why don't we have some fun?!" Prometheus flew up into the air and spread his arms, legs and hair as two large pillars of fire erupted from the ground. "Burn to ashes! Ahahahahahah!" The pillars swirled around Prometheus, slowly making their way to Vio and anything else that dared to stand in the way of the fiery assault. It was honestly a wonder that Vio managed to walk around with such heat all around him, thankfully Prometheus' circuits were resistent against these temperatures which allowed him to be as careless as he wanted to be with his fire attacks.

------------------

"Missiles! Everyone, hold on!" Hunter yelled over comms as he made Coatlus dive down. "Blow Away!" The large reptile began flapping its impressive wings and created a powerful gust aimed at the missiles. He hoped to blow the missiles into the cannon and get them to detonate. If that was not the case, hopefully the attack would slow the projectiles down enough for the rest of the team to get away in time.

-----------------

"Battle Card, Predation! Wide Sword!" Mega's jaw unhinged and his eyes went blank as a green energy sword appeared, Mega's head acting as the guard. Clashing with the sword-wielding skeleton, Geo repositioned himself out of the way of the arrow and attempted to shove the skeleton into the arrow.

"Not bad kid, didn't know you had it in you." Omega-Xis' voice rang through Geo's head as he spoke.

"This is no time to be timid, being a trophy sounds like a fate worse than death."

"I'd assume so, let's try and not find out if that is true okay?"

Prometheus was not expecting a duck of all things to show up, let alone having it fight back. The beam it fired hit Prometheus square in the chest, freezing his body and sending him falling to the ground. The freezing didn't last for too long, as to be expected given the fire everywhere. As the reploid thawed out, he grimaced. "Well well well, pests are always tougher than they look. This just might be more fun than I thought."

...Now!

Vio waited for this moment of discombobulation on the part of Prometheus. Drawing an arrow into his bow, tipped with a strange yellow liquid. With that type of skin, he most certainly doesn’t burn. Those surfaces are usually coarse, rough. Meaning that...

Firing the arrow, he shot it straight towards his heart, the arrow would create a spark when hit, causing the liquid on the arrow to catch his wound ablaze!

...Sparks would follow!

@DarkHydraT @Psymallard

"You wanna play? Then let us!" Grabbing his scythe tighter, Prometheus vibrated rapidly before vanishing and reappearing behind Vio. "DIE!" The reploid dashed forward and slashed upward, sending an energy wave at the wannabe soldier. Meanwhile the flame pillars began dying down after setting more of the jungle ablaze. "You have no power here! Let me show you your destiny!" Floating up into the sky, he spread his arms, legs and hair and summoned four skulls that were set ablaze with purple fire. "Burn to a crisp!" The skulls homed in on Vio and shot four fireballs at once, sharing the bloodlust that their summoner had.

...what?

Their enemy could teleport it seems, which is something he hadn’t accounted for. Before he could flip around, he was hit by the energy wave. Due to the shield hoisted on his back, the damage was mitigated, but not negated. He was sent tumbling on the ground, sharp pain in his back and waist from the hit itself. Groaning, he began to rise to his feet as Prometheus was speaking of his move.

He lives up to his own hype...but those that talk loud always talk to hide their weaknesses. While winning this seems to be but a fleeting fantasy, being able to preventing him from killing us is...more likely.

Taking a calculated risk, he grabbed a bag of Rupees. This would hurt, and Blue wouldn’t agree with it, but it had to be done. He tossed the bag up in the air, firing an arrow at the bag. The bag exploded forth with dozens of glimmering jewels. The fireballs exploded on the jewels alarmingly close to the skulls.

There we go!

Taking advantage of his master bow skills, he fired off at the skulls amidst his smoke screen, one for each of them hoping to split each down the middle.

@Psymallard @DarkHydraT

"So the rat has brains huh?" Prometheus cackled as Vio shot his arrows, taking down the skulls as they lost sight of their target. Cancelling his Quartet Burst move, the Reploid once again grabbed his scythe and dashed forwards to Vio. The duck was not a problem, a duck could not compete with his programming. This human on the other hand seemed to be sentient, which was more than he could say of the duck. "Time for you to retire!" Prometheus hoped to slash at Vio, either killing him or allowing him to take to the air. Either way, this was an almost garuanteed victory for him.

Psyduck dove to the side- Vio was in the way. While midair, he wondered why he would be wasting time on a useless single human? Even stupid humans know that pokemon are more dangerous than any person. This guy was ridiculously stupid, not only angering The Duck, but not taking him as a primary threat. As Psyduck soared through the air he pondered how much of a nincompoop this person was, and almost forgot to send off a Confuse Ray before he hit the ground. But, he blasted a blueish bubble from his brain before landing in a pile of ash.

Vio kept his cool head, even though the odds did seem to be getting less and less amicable, especially due to Prometheus coming for a head on approach. He was indeed physically stronger, so clashing swords would never be a winning battle. But perhaps he didn’t have to win it.

Taking out his blade and putting his left hand behind his back, he took a fencing posture. He hoped to parry the blade, imparting less force on him and more away from him. Perhaps if he deflected it in this manner, and well timed, he could buy time to escape whilst Prometheus would recover.

"DIE-IE-IE-IE-IEEEEEEEE!" Right as Prometheus was about to strike, the Confuse Ray hit him. The Reploid's head spun 360 degrees as he leapt up into the air and spun his scythe to generate lift. It seemed as if his programming was completely going haywire, something that was only made evident by the sporadic teleporting that he did. Eventually he stopped in the air to create four more skulls, but they did not home in on anything. Instead, they just fire into the jungle at random, starting new fires here and there until the skulls disappeared and Prometheus grabbed his scythe again. The Reploid lunged downwards at impressive speeds, slashing at the air to create four large flames out of thin air that fell onto the ground. As soon as he hit the ground, he dashed around sporadically before leaving the area completely. Where was Prometheus? He seemed hellbent on killing Vio, yet he was nowhere to be seen. Were they safe? Was it a trap?

A couple of miles north-east, near the edge of the jungle, Prometheus reclaimed control over his body. "Urgh, that duck really messed up my circuits. They managed to disrupt one of my stabilizers, good for them. I'll let them revel in their victory for now." Laughing to himself, the Grim Reaper walked away from the inferno that was the jungle and walked towards an icy landscape. Hopefully there was someone out here who was an easier kill. After all, there was no way that he would find a way to reset the timer on his body. He might as well have some fun until he shut down.

Jungle Ash
Psyduck had his head submerged in a pile of ash when Prometheus took off. He pulled and tumbled backwards once before landing on his feet. Still scrappy, he looked around for the robot. Seeing nothing, he jumped 180 degrees to face behind him and swung his head from right to left, seeing nothing there. The only possibility was that he must've been atomized by his Confuse Ray..... somehow. "PSYDUUCK!" He yelled into the sky beating his chest. His celebration was cut short by a very tall burning tree landed a couple feet from The Duck, startling him. Remembering what his mission was, he got back to work, first soaking the large tree in front of him with Hydro Pump, later moving onto the other fires.

Master Chief - The Mountains
As quickly as they'd noticed the drilling robots, they seemed to notice the approaching group. Despite the sound of their mining equipment masking the loudest sound made by his squad (that being the Warthog's engine), they flawlessly detected them through the mass of trees obscuring their vision. Not only that, but they even launched an immediate attack, signifying with crystal clear clarity that they were hostile. They'd pushed a large boulder down the hill with the intent of crushing the Warthog and its occupants underneath. Like hell.
With a shift in gears, the slam of a pedal, and the hard-turn of a steering wheel, the Warthog swerved to the side, drifting upward against the ground, spraying thick dirt up, the engine letting out a strained roar as the boulder tumbled its way past them, before becoming lodged by two trees much thicker than the ones it had been plowing through. Copen had left, performing his own counter-attack, leaving Green alone with the Chief in the Warthog for now.

Another shift of gears, the slam of a pedal, and the hard-turn of a steering wheel was perfectly executed next as John maneuvered the Warthog through a patch of closely grown trees, regaining their track, the distance closing drastically between them and their attackers- yet unfortunately, Chief was forced to pull the same trick again as his sight on the enemy returned only to find that they'd been crushed underfoot by a small squad of much larger, much more heavily armed robotic threats. With another drift, the Warthog swung about, spraying dirt over the Egg Cannons. Too close. "Hang on." The spartan warned his green-clad companion.
Just as the missiles fired, the Hog was peeling its way away from them, several of the homing missiles locked onto the Hog as it zipped through the brush, bumping and rattling as it went. "Take the wheel." The spartan calmly spoke, yanking the AI chip from the back of his helmet, severing his personal connection to Cortana before he skillfully inserted it into the Warthog's center console, usually meant for various other tools, but AI chips were multipurpose.

Cortana's voice crackled in through his internal speakers immediately after. "You know I can't drive!"
"Keep it steady." Was his only response as the Master Chief lifted himself from the seat, grabbing hold of the Hog frame behind his head, and using it to leap over the Warthog into the back, detaching his Magnum from his hip as his boots magnetically sealed to the back of the vehicle where the heavy turret would normally sit. No offense to Green, but he figured the kid was probably even worse at driving, all things considered. His HUD picked up five missiles spinning through the air, coming closer toward them with each passing second. Cortana did her best to keep the Warthog steady, as well as keeping it from crashing into any trees as it picked up speed, barreling downhill faster and faster, the missiles keeping pace as John lifted his arm, aiming as steadily as he could with the rocky ride. There hade been quite a few more missiles initially, but the rest had either detonated or been stopped by the other members of his squad, leaving him to have to finish these last ones. Or at least the first four.

Three bullets fired, whizzing through the air. Dead misses. John waited a few more seconds as the missiles grew ever-closer, before firing again. The first bullet struck head-on, the nearest missile erupting, its proximity near enough two others that launched a chain reaction, detonating the other two, leaving only two more missiles to deal with.
"Turn around." John ordered Cortana, who scoffed into his speakers. "You do realize we're trying to run from the missiles, right?"
She complied, however. Despite her snarky remarks, he knew she trusted his judgement, and rightly so. He'd proven time and time again at just how capable he was, even his methods were often a bit extreme and daring. In an attempt to mimic Chief's earlier maneuver, the Warthog swung about, sliding heavily across the dirt beneath it, but quickly dropping in speed, just enough for-
Another explosion as the fourth missile erupted in a fiery show- one that the final missile barreled through, tearing after them, the distance rapidly closing as John repositioned himself, leaping from the back of the Hog to the front, landing right on the hood as he tucked the Magnum to his side, three fresh bullets still ready for use within, and in an exceptionally daring move, he caught the last missile mid-air, stopping it just before it could collide with him, dead-center. "I'm guessing you want to give the robot its toy back." Cortana remarked, to which the spartan, as per usual, said nothing. She was right, of course. So as the Warthog sped uphill, back to the battle, John ripped the thruster out from the missile, effectively taking away its propulsion while maintaining its destructive power. It wasn't like these were HAVOK nukes, but they'd hopefully earn his team a lead in their equally, though unfairly, matched conflict.

The Knight - Rivet Ravine (Cave)

The Vessel managed to hold its own against the remaining Centurion, managing to avoid most of its attacks thanks to its Shadow Dash, while dealing damage over time with quick swings of its nail. With the machine clearly barely holding on, the bug just needed a chance to finish it off.

Another axe swing came its way, a Great Slash countering the Centurion's weapon as it recoiled backwards. The Knight jumped up and unleashed another Shade Soul, the Void projectile causing the machine to finally fall backwards, unable to block it. With its opponent on the ground, the Vessel jumped up with a flap of its Monarch Wings, before using up some of its SOUL, covering itself in Void. The bug suddenly crashed down at high speed, smashing through the machine's chest as Void shot upwards from the impact area, dealing the final blow to the machine.

With that done, the Knight took a moment to heal some of its wounds, using its remaining SOUL to focus, covering itself in the white energy, some of the cracks in its shell disappearing. It then walked over to the man in armor and the floating sword to regroup.

Demerzel - Urban District

"THIS IS MOST... INTERESTING."

It hadn't been long since the Sumeragi Institute of Human Evolution had launched a large scale attack to finally eradicate the last of the Minos. The conglomerate's infantry and robots filled the streets as they hunted down the inferior beings, all under the leadership of Sumeragi's supervisory A.I., Demerzel.

Then, reality fell apart. Cracks formed out of thin air as holes sucked parts of the district in. And now, everyone found themselves in a different world, comprised of buildings of all shapes and sizes, though some of them were recognizable as Sumeragi's. People filled the streets, all equally confused.

Demerzel had ended up in this strange new world as well, located in the depths of Sumeragi's bunker, under the conglomerate's Building 13. The leader was rather frustrated by this situation. Sumeragi had the Minos cornered, with years of planning finally coming to fruition... and now things had suddenly changed. A large portion of Sumeragi's troops was wiped out in an instant and Blade's status was unknown. But at least it still had the Butterfly Effect at its disposal, so all was not lost. A plan was needed, and soon.

A strange energy signature was detected several miles away northwest, and a similar one was located south, but much further away. Aiming to find out what they were and wanting to possibly take advantage of it, Demerzel sent out several drones towards both signatures, as they came out from the top of Sumeragi's Building 13.

"INVESTIGATE THESE SIGNATURES AND BRING THEM TO ME." The leader's electronic voice commanded as they flew off. If they could be retrieved, that power would aid in Sumeragi's goal of Mino eradication. Several cameras located outside of the building showed footage of a horde of mechanical bears attacking any human in sight.

A transmission of a green haired girl was also broadcasted on every screen in the city, explaining the bears' purpose: killing every adult. Sumeragi didn't seem to be the only ones aiming for genocide. Some Sumeragi soldiers tried fighting them off, but were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer number of machines swarming them. Any other soldiers that were fortunate enough to not be attacked straight away took refuge in several Sumeragi facilities, activating their security measures, spawning a few turrets from their walls that began firing at any bear-like robots that dared to approach.

With Sumeragi's numbers having been dramatically shortened, Demerzel couldn't take many risks. It was probably best to stay undercover for the time being, and wait for a chance to strike. Those bears were doing a good job at taking out the Minos for them, strangely turning them into golden trophies. Perhaps it was a property of this new world. So there sat the A.I. in the depths of a bunker, waiting for a report on the two signatures located a fair distance away, while coming up with backup plans should things go even worse than they were right now.

Daroach - Mountains
With all that's happened, and the seemingly current plan of approaching the robots, Daroach decided it wouldn't be worth much to join up. Heck, he didn't even know if he was gonna get anything valuable out of this, and that's what he was all about! Daroach strongly believed that he was not the only Dreamland Inhabitant to have been sent to this world, and even if he was, chances are the others are enough to take down whatever's wrong with this world. Daroach instead just wanted to focus on finding treasure, away from these albeit kind strangers.

" Ah, sorry to say I've changed my mind. See, I'm in the treasure huntin' business. I'm not exactly a hero myself, I just like to jump into danger if it means I'm getting a great reward 'outta it. With this whole shtick, I'd rather stick to my Squeak Squad, no offense. Sayonara! " The mouse thief spoke, nodding his hat the group before disappearing in a warp and teleporting in a chain of teleports back to his blimp to meet up with his team.

Tac - Mondstadt Plains
Well, this was frustrating to say the least. Nothing worth of value in here. Not even one shiny thing! It was all just.. strange flasks and weird, non-valuable looking relics like some vial of water with a cross lid, or just a straight-up wooden cross, even some wooden stakes, whatever they were for! Annoyed and disappointed, Tac hopped back out of the window he came in through, throwing his hand back to the spot to place the window back where it was. With that, Tac lifted himself into the air, his body effectively becoming a rocket, with smoke shooting out from his bottom. Tac had spotted some mountains in the distance, and from the experience that was the Great Cave Offensive, decided that area would hold the most treasure.

Albus - Mondstadt Plains
Being already ahead of the group, Albus was starting to come close to Ecclesia, when he saw.. there, in the distance.. something moving into the chapel by the window.. but no shattering glass sounding up? Very suspicious, and much more concerning to Albus now that something he had history with was in potential danger! Albus warped away, forgetting about the group and re-appeared to the front entrance of Ecclesia. When he ran into the chapel, he could see traces of some being having been in here, seeing as drawers were opened and potion flasks were moved aside. However, it didn't seem like the robber took anything from the chapel, so Albus sighed in relief. Albus got on to tidying up Ecclesia again and setting everything back in place, aswell as double-checking if really nothing was taken, completely forgetting about his duties to checking up on the group.

(With my three heroes now out of the way of the story and on their own, I'll just say that I'll be leaving the rp and will allow anyone to auto my characters, hero or villain, just as long as my characters do still act, well, in-character, and aren't just used for.. cannon fodder or something.)

Bowie/Nagisa/Kotoko - Above Urban District
Bowie felt like he was backed up against the wall. There was this intense, almost villainous aura in the air that he hadn't felt since before he and Masaru became friends. He didn't want to give up on his beliefs, who knows how many people would be in trouble if he did, but he could already tell that he'd be in trouble if he didn't. "Well... I'm not saying I disagree, but don't you think it's a little bit over the top to punish them all, just for the crimes that a few committed? Masaru told me a small bit about how bad the adults from your universe are, but my universe had a lot of good adults, not just crappy ones. What if the other universes also have nice adults? Are you willing to kill that many people just on the off chance that they could be bad?"

Kotoko looked at Bowie with a smile, but there was no comfort behind it. "So you're going to side with them? Well if you truly think that's for the best I guess I understand. There was a time when I used to think they were good too, but trust me, the moment you let your guard down you'll basically just be a toy for them to mess with and abuse however you want. They will never feel the consequences, you will just live with the pain of what they did."

Nagisa just sighed. Obviously, this kid was not going to agree with them, and arguing with him would only further push back paradise. He figured he would have to be the responsible one and deal with the mess their so-called leader created. He went over to Monaca and pulled her aside. He whispered as to make sure only she could hear. I don't think this kid is going to agree with us any time soon, would you like me to get a Monokuma helmet for him?"

Tails - Urban District
"That was amazing Undyne! You're really strong, it's almost amazing, the way you talked about humans, I wasn't sure how well you'd be able to take on a robot that was at least twice as strong as the average human. Well, I guess that's neither here nor there, there are quite a bit more of these Monokumas around, we need to take them out before they started hurting all the people around!" With that, his twin tails started to spin around rapidly and he flew off towards the next Monokuma.

Reize - Urban Ruins
"Hang monster? It looks like hangman to me. I'm not always the smartest guy around, but usually, the trick to these is to think about the person writing them and figure out the puzzle that way" Reize took the time to count out the letters to make sure what he was thinking was correct. "Could it be the one, the only, THEGREATPAPYRUS?" He couldn't help but jump straight in. He didn't really feel like taking the time to guess each letter individually after all."

Specter Knight - Mondstadt Plains
Specter realized that while he could probably defeat these two alone, especially since the extra person he had predicted he would be fighting was gone, he decided to not be too greedy and push his luck. While they didn't seem to be the strongest fighters, they were obviously not new to fighting either. This was made evident as the robot type kid grabbed the sentry skeleton's arrow and shoved it straight into the skull of the sword-wielding one., He made sure he had Venti's trophy secured, and then he issued a final command to the two remaining skeletons to ensure his getaway: Kamikaze. The one lying in wait rushed straight towards the fiery boy. The bottle that the boy had broken on his head earlier ignited as he ran straight into the fire of the sword, but that wouldn't matter as this would only aid in the green explosion that would erupt as soon as the skeleton was close enough. In contrast, the archer ran at the robot boy prepared to burst into the same green explosion. These would most likely do quite a bit of damage, and Specter Knight would flee in the mayhem they caused.

Warriors of Hope

As Bowie quickly became a minnow in a pool of Pirhannas, Monaca began to puff up her cheeks. Suddenly, she let out a big outburst, flailing her arms around, almost clobbering Nagisa.

“YOU. ARE. WITH. US. OR. AGAINST. US!” She cried out in her tantrum. “MONACA’S. FRIEND. OR. ENEMY!”

“Uh—o-oh... Monaca is mad...” Jataro began to panic.

Masaru, the self proclaimed Hero of the whole lot put it on himself to act as a wedge between Monaca and Bowie, jumping in between them. Pointing over to Bowie, Masaru called out.

“I let you up here and you made Monaca cry! Answer her question! Are you with us Kids or will you die with the adults?!”

Masaru had become blinded to Bowie’s argument of good adults by the distress of Monaca, who seemed to throw a tantrum at the most opportune time.

Urban District

“Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!”

The high pitched laughter of Monokuma ringed out as the army of robots ran through the town. The Sumeragi building seemed to draw in some interest from them, a coordinated group of twenty Monokuma grouped up, sprinting toward the door with their metal shredding claws ready to tear into anything in their way.

With Undyne and Tails, more and more of these machines began to hit the streets. How were they appearing so rapidly? One couldn’t be sure on first glance.

Prodding the statues and seeing that they weren’t able to stab further, the seemed to be rounding up the statues they could get their paws on and dragging them off elsewhere.

One Monokuma, Built with yellow and black stripes had a red alarm stitched into it’s head. It was on a nearby roof of a flower shop pointing at Undyne, the alarm began to sound.

“There! there!”

Many of the nearby monokuma, counting up to seven, locked eyes with her. They sprinted toward her, claws ready to gouge out her remaining eye.

Green

“Ngh...!”

Green tried his best to hold on while Chief did some rather reckless driving. Chief wasn’t entirely to blame however, as he gave the wheel to Cortana, his fairy like AI companion. Looking to the robots firing the missiles above, Green stabilized as much as he could on the wheeled machine. Drawing three arrows, he fired them all off at once. He wasn’t the best shot of the four, but if one of the arrows hit it may disorient its even take one out. That would mean much less stress on the rest of the group.

Vio let down his blade, noticing Prometheus’s rather...ungraceful exit. Electing to locate Dee amidst this confusion, he shuffled over to a patch of charred grass where his bronze statue lied.

“Peculiar...” He thought out loud. “His species turns to bronze when unconscious...”

Strapping the companion to his back, he found the statue surprisingly light for it’s appearance. Turning to Psyduck, who was handily putting out the fires, he cleared his throat.

“Duck, we have to get going. If you want to get back home it’s best we start to find our way.”

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Cave)
Not bad. Not bad at all. At first glance, one wouldn't expect a little bitty creature and a floating sword to be very useful companions, yet these two had already proven to be far more capable than any companions the Dragonborn had over the years, including his mercenary wife, or even the vampire Serana, who often outshined most of the others. Not here, of course.
He'd be keeping these two around for a while. With the cave now having fallen into its echoed silent ambience, the great dwarven machines lay dormant before them, broken and beaten, inactive. This battle they'd won. "Centurions usually guard something important." The Dragonborn informed his companions. "Especially when there's two. We're bound to get some very valuable treasure here."

With that, he continued to lead the way on down past the platform, descending through a set of old stone stairs, cracked with age, which led into a dwarven tunnel. The tunnel, however, didn't last as the deeper they went, their surroundings shifted, as though the dwarven architects couldn't be bothered to finish their work. The walls turned slick, the ceiling full of stalactites that hung idly, the ground with less-populated stalagmites. Large cyan flowers budded along the ground as well, pulsing with a faint vibrant blue, illuminating their surroundings like a natural light.
It had a strange, ominous beauty to it all.

Undyne - Urban District
She wasn't given much time to respond to Miles' praise, nor anything else, as very suddenly, the Monokumas had easily designated Undyne as a type of threat. A specialized-looking Monokuma stood on the roof of a nearby flower ship, pointing at the monster, shouting out at the others, directing them to her.

Her excitement was replaced with ambition. Her childish grin swapped itself out for a confident smirk as she grabbed her fresh disguise, and proceeded to rip it off with one tug, flinging it all aside, shaking her head, throwing the mask off, her piercing yellow eye locked onto the nearest Monokuma. Finally, all of that hard work and training, all of those hours spent watching anime too, it would all pay off here.
Another spear materialized in her hand, but rather than use it right away, she instead pointed it almost invitingly at the approaching Monokumas, their claws extended, clearly attempting to slash away at her- something she wouldn't give the chance to.

The slightest twist of her wrist as she pointed her spear at the Monokumas signified the use of her magic as a flurry of spears appeared out of thin air around her, all aimed at the charging robotic beasts. Another twitch in her hand, barely even noticeable, and the spears shot toward the bears, impaling them through at various angles and parts, before vanishing. This initial attack didn't stop the charging group, but it certainly halted them through force, some of them now detrimented through shattered joints, or even missing limbs from the power of her spears. Undyne's smirk only widened as she lowered her spear, eye flashing menacingly as a pattern of flat, circular energy began to appear beneath them, and just as they started to move, more spears erupted out of the ground, impaling them from beneath, completely shutting down a few that fell lifelessly to the ground, and by the time the spears faded, only three Monokumas were left charging at her, though already nearly beaten as she hardly exerted any of her true strength.

The moment they neared, her spear began a blue as she twirled it, knocking off one of their arms, shattering another's head, before slamming her boot through another's chest, blasting it back- though she had underestimated their melee speed as a claw slashed against her back. Nothing serious (even if it was, it's not like she'd admit it), but still enough to make her grin falter, even for a second as her spear faded after she'd put the second Monokuma down, and she turned on her heel, grabbing the final one with her bare arm, and proceeding to toss it at the flower shape, where it was finally put down when shattering through the brick above the front windows. With a triumphant laugh, Undyne turned her gaze upward, smirk stronger than ever. "THAT'S the best you got? I've seen BABIES scarier than these toys, and you know what? You're next!"

She hurled a spear through the air at the Monokuma, who easily sidestepped it, failing to notice the properties of the spear, which was glowing a bright golden light in contrast to the usual blue of the others, and with the spear now behind it, it flipped about mid-air, now hurtling back toward mechanical bear from behind, losing no speed or momentum in the process.

Papyrus - Urban Ruins
The skeleton stared at Reize for a long moment, the grin slowly sliding off of his face. At least a minute had gone by before Papyrus turned on his heel, bending over to look at the chalk underlines for a moment, his face an inch away from the wall as he investigated it. After a couple of seconds, he turned suddenly back toward the human, grinning brightly. "WOWIE! THAT'S NOT WHAT IT WAS, BUT I AM INCREDIBLY FLATTERED THAT YOU THINK I'M SO GREAT! IN FACT, I'M SO FLATTERED THAT I HAVE ELECTED TO CHANGE THE ANSWER TO THE ONE YOU SO GRACIOUSLY PROVIDED. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE PASSED ALL OF MY PUZZLES! BUT THIS ISN'T OVER, HUMAN. FOR YOU FACE ONE FINAL CHALLENGE!" With that, Papyrus opened the nearby door, and darted inside, disappearing into the dark of the building, leaving Slowking behind for the first time.

That left it, and Reize, to follow Papyrus through the open doorway, which led into a rather dark interior, that was quickly lit up by a series of blue bones that erupted behind them, blocking their exit. They'd entered a long hallway, one in which Papyrus stood at the very end, hand on his hip, staring at the two of them with a somewhat conflicted gaze, but it quickly shifted into a more determined glare. "YOUR FINAL CHALLENGE IS BEATING ME!" Papyrus proclaimed. "YOU SEE, I USUALLY HAVE A VERY LENGTHY MONOLOGUE PLANNED FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, BUT DUE TO OUR CONDITION OF BEING SOMEWHERE UNFAMILIAR, I'VE HAD TO IMPROVISE. I USUALLY HAVE FAR MORE TEDIOUS AND INTERESTING PUZZLES, ON TOP OF MY PERFECT MONOLOGUE. SADLY, I MUST SETTLE FOR A SLIGHTLY LESS PERFECT MONOLGUE THAT I WROTE WHILE I WAITED FOR YOU TO ENTER THIS HALLWAY. YOU SEE, YOU'RE A HUMAN. THAT MEANS YOU HAVE A SOUL, AND MY PEOPLE HAVE COLLECTED SIX HUMAN SOULS, BUT WE NEED A SEVENTH IN ORDER TO BREAK THE BARRIER TRAPPING US ALL UNDERGROUND, AND TO FINALLY LIVE ON THE SURFACE AGAIN! I AM MEANT TO CAPTURE YOU, AND DELIVER YOU TO UNDYNE. SHE'S THE CAPTAIN OF THE ROYAL GUARD, AND I AM ONE OF ITS MOST RECENT, AND MOST PRESTIGIOUS MEMBERS. ONCE IN HER HANDS, YOU WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE CAPITAL, WHERE ASGORE WILL... ER... I'M NOT SURE WHAT COMES NEXT, OR HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO GET YOU TO UNDYNE, BUT THAT'S FOR THEN. NOW IS THE TIME TO CAPTURE YOU!"

From seemingly nowhere, Papyrus whipped out a stereo, setting it on the ground and pressing the play button. The hallway was suddenly filled with a funky almost greek-like tune that echoed off the walls, Papyrus shaking his hips to the funky beat. Clearly his idea of battle music.

Sub-Zero - Ravaged Battlefield
With no qualms from any individual, the three formed their own group. The Cryomancer, The Shade, and The Kid. That seemed most accurate. Besides, the kid hadn't displayed any unique capabilities, nor concerning his fighting capabilities. All that was really to note of him was his scarlet uniform. The Shade, or 'Gengar' as Kuai Liang had heard it say a few times, was certainly combat capable. Not enough to take out the Grandmaster himself, he was certain, but certainly useful enough if he got into a tight spot, and in such a strange, unfamiliar place is this, one could not have enough friends.

Through the smoldering battlefield they traveled, Sub-Zero putting out a few fires that got in their way, the trek going on as the airborne fleet faded into the distance. After however long of walking, the Cryomancer looked up to the sky for a moment, narrowing his eyes. "The sky, it's clearing." He noted. Indeed it was, the smoke wasn't nearly as thick as it had been, the blue sky above could now be seen. He turned his gaze to look at Gengar, then at Red, the latter of which was looking a little dehydrated.
Almost immediately, Sub-Zero produced a flurry of snow that he condensed into a snowball, which he then handed to Red. "It's cold, but it will keep you hydrated until we find a source of water." He stated, before turning his serious gaze upon the beast. "I could provide one for you as well, if you desire."

Robot parts began to litter her feet as she laid waste to the Monokuma units. The flower shop now had a big hole in it with several broken Monokumas scattered about. Atop it, The Monokuma with a siren on it’s head began to visibly sweat. The attack Undyne had sent out had penetrated through his back, a gaping hole in his torso. Damaged but still functioning, the Siren Monokuma limped backwards. Taking out a Walky Talky from its side, it yelled in it.

“This chick’s crazy! We need support now! Now! NOW!”

Suddenly, from the airship above, panels opened up. Thrusters activated from small figures that emerged from the new openings. Coming down, they appeared to be Monokuma, except strapped with a metal plates, a gas mask, a pair of Thrusters on their backs, and a sizable flamethrower.

From twenty feet in the air, they turned their guns to the ground. As quick as they came, the four Destroyer Monokuma shot a stream of flame down, swooping across the road with their flame which seemed to stick to the very concrete itself. They were trying to burn her alive and cut her off!

Red
Mountains

Red perked up when the tall ninja dressed man handed him a...snowball? Looking up at him curiously, he listened to his explanation.

“hum, Kay! That makes sense!”

Taking the snowball without a second though and eating it whole, Red was suddenly overcome with regret. A foe he was never able to vanquish even to this very day: Brain freeze. How could he have forgotten such a foe? He waved his hands like fans toward his face as if it would help it go away faster, but to no avail.

Bennett
Mondstadt Plains

“Aha! Got ‘em!”

Bennett’s expression soon feel as he realized the skeleton would keep coming to him. The green light pulsating from it wasn’t a good sign. Putting a sword in front of him for protection, the skeleton blew up in a big display of green!

*BOOM!*

“Waaaaah!”

Bennett was thrown out by the explosion, landing roughly on a rock wall nearby. Groaning and rubbing his head, the boy got his sense back. Feeling his head, chest, then torso, he realized he was still alive.

“Well, how about that! Looks like my luck is really turning around!”

Just then, a chunk of the rock face Bennett had impacted was dislodged, forming a Boulder than fell down right on him, trophying him instantly! The trophy fell to the ground and rolled over into the grass

The Knight - Rivet Ravine

Being led even deeper into the cave by the man in armor, the Vessel followed right behind. The tunnel they traveled through seemed to become more natural the deeper they went, with rock formations appearing now much more frequently. Any stalagmites that obstructed the bug's path were swiftly cut in half with quick nail strikes, allowing it to keep up with the human without much trouble.

The trio were eventually met with the sight of large, sky blue flowers, about twice as tall as the Knight. Their appearance and natural glow were comparable to the Lifeblood Cocoons found throughout Hallownest, which led the bug to slash one down in hopes of obtaining some Lifeblood for additional protection. No healing blue liquid came out though, unfortunately. Putting its nail away for the time being, the Vessel kept following the man as it took in the pleasant blue glow the flowers emitted, reminiscent of the Blue Lake it had visited several times.

Sumeragi Troops - Urban District

"We're all going to die!"

Several Sumeragi soldiers had made their way inside one of the conglomerate's facilities in hopes of being safe from those maniacal killer bears. The building only seemed to get their attention though, as a horde of them was coming right their way! The turrets located outside of the building began firing a stream of bullets at the robotic bears, but couldn't stop most of them from getting inside.

Hoping to destroy the robots, two Gunners, recognizable by their blue armor, amber visors and large blaster rifles began firing plasma shots towards the Monokumas, managing to cripple a few by damaging their limbs, though were quickly engulfed by the machines.
Watching their comrades be turned to trophies by the bears and realizing they had nowhere to run while inside the building, some of the remaining troops tried to take care of the robots with a bit of a tactical approach.

Three Sentry Units, large robots with orange lights equipped with spiked rotary shields stood in front of the incoming machines, ready to defend the infantry. They extended and rapidly spun their shields at the Monokuma horde, trying to destroy or at least heavily damage any machine that ran straight at them.

Two Grenadiers, wielding green armor with red visors and pink energy shields stood behind the Sentry Units to assist them, lobbing grenades at the bears to hopefully destroy any Monokumas that weren't taken out by the Sumeragi robots protecting the soldiers.

"Kid these things explode! Do something about that!"

"Got it! Battle Card, Predation! Barrier!" Geo tossed a battle card in the air that promptly got swallowed by Mega, creating a blue barrier around the boy right before the skeleton exploded. It was a weak barrier, normally it would only block one attack from something as weak as a Mettenna, but it was enough for now.

"Good job thinking on your feet, buddy." Omega-Xis complimented Geo before looking at the battlefield. "Seems that was the last of them, and our little trophy man turned into one again. Go help him out, will ya?"

Geo pulsed out, causing him to get engulfed in another pillar of light before returning to normal. "Let's see, I just gotta touch it right?" Half expecting another person to jump out after touching the statue, the boy tapped the bottom of Bennett's statue.

"Well there don't seem to be bad guys around, so I'd say yes." Mega quipped as Geo knelt down.

"Are you okay? You've been turned into what appears to be a trophy or something twice now. That can't feel good." He asked as he extended a hand for the boy to grab.

"Now that you have working legs again, where are we going now? Are we going to give chase or are we gonna twiddle our thumbs in this field?" Mega asked as he floated next to Geo, though he was visible now. "Huh, guess we are in the visible zone here. Fun, now everyone can see me."

“Well...you know how when you fall off a cliff and land on your head? That’s kind how it feels.”

Sitting up and shaking his head, he looked about. Sure enough the skeletons and their summoner were gone. Standing up and popping his back, Bennett put a determined look on his face, putting his fist out.

“I say I’m not gonna let that guy get away with it! I say we take ‘em down and get some answers! Besides, he captured my commission bard! What do ya say? Geo and uh...who are you?”

He questions Mega as he wasn’t quite Familiar with him. Was he always there?

"I can't say I know that feeling. I can imagine it though, and it is not nice. Don't force yourself to walk, you might have some injuries." Geo said as Bennett was raring to go and get Venti back.

"Hi. I've been here the entire time, pretty sure you heard me before in Geo's Star Carrier. The name's Omega-Xis, but you humans always manage to butcher it. Just call me Mega. I'm responsible for making Geo Megaman so that he can fight back, any other questions?" Mega bluntly told the boy as he crossed his arms, significantly larger than Geo and surprisingly muscular for an alien made out of electromagnetic waves.

"I get that you want to rescue Venti, but are you sure you're up for it? I'm not saying that you are weak, but you haven't been the luckiest person I know so far." Geo voiced his concerns as Mega simply rolled his eyes. If the AM-ian was in charge, he'd simply ditch the boy and rush in with Geo. Unfortunately, he needed a human to unleash his full power and he did not exactly want a repeat of the beatdown that Gemini delivered. He'd simply have to wait on Geo's decision.

“Uh...actually I do. How do you eat? Wha- what am I even saying?”

Bennett asked this question to Mega before shaking his head. What was he thinking? He needed to focus on getting Venti back and stopping this weird necromancer guy. After being asked if he was sure he should go, he got a determined look on his face, balling his fists.

“Hey, I may have some bad luck to my name, but it doesn’t mean I’m useless! I haven’t died yet so that has to count for something. Trust me, we got this. I even run an adventure team back where I come from! Benny’s Adventure team! And we are the best there is! ...Whenever they join anyway.”

"Really. That is the question you're going with. It's simple, really. Being made of electromagnetic waves comes with the perk of not needing to eat. I can swallow things though, like a sword." Omega-Xis told Bennett as Geo raised an eyebrow.

"You really brought that up? Did you do that just to impress him?"

"I can neither confirm nor deny this accusation."

"So you did. Anyhoo, boy. You may not have died yet, but you turned into a statue twice already. We found you as a statue for that matter. As for your adventure team, how many people are a part of it?" Geo questioned Bennett, his cautious nature getting the better of him.

"I'm betting 100 Zennys that he is the only member, watch me." Mega quipped as they waited for an answer.

Wait, he can rate a whole sword? But if he can eat, doesn’t mean that he has to do other things too? Urm, getting distracted again. Back to the point.

“My adventure team? Ha...well we are only the bravest adventure team in all of Mondstadt! There’s six of us, and while we used to go out a lot...well, we are still a team! They just haven’t come back in a while... But that doesn’t mean I’m not good at what I do!”

Pointing at the direction of where he thought the guy fled off too, he affirmed his own resolve.

“C’mon! We are wasting time! The more we wait the more time that weirdo has to escape! Weather you like it or not I’m comin’ with!”

Undyne - Urban District
Deftly, the monster leaped back from the collective spout of flames, twirling her spear in an outstretched spear just fast enough to give the closest of the flames some blowback away from her. The armored, flying Monokumas simply tried to close the distance before three of four of them were enveloped in a faint green hue, which seemed to freeze them in place. They could turn and move, but were entirely incapable of moving to a different position, quickly falling behind the fourth of the flying robo-bears.
Distracting the three frozen ones with a flurry of cyan and golden spears that came from all directions in what appeared to be a synchronized pattern, she leaped from the fourth as it jetted flames toward her once again, flipping through the air to her left before slamming her foot into the ground. The concrete cracked beneath her strength, as a sudden torrent of blue arrows were launched toward the fourth Monokuma, the projectiles much smaller than her spears, but also much faster as they pummeled it back, slashing through creases in the armor, and just as it finished, the Monokuma recovering itself, it only found Undyne in the air before it, her spear being brought down.

It tore through the armored head of the robot, piercing through its body and out below it, before being ripped back out. Before the now destroyed Destroyer Monokuma could fall from the sky, Undyne had landed on it, quickly launching herself off toward the three remaining ones, all still distracted, and mostly damaged from her relentless assault.
This was what she'd been dreaming of doing her entire life. Ever since she'd ordered her father to fight her, to Gerson, to King Asgore himself. She was trained extensively for things like this, but she was far from actually battle experienced. Watching anime certainly helped give her plenty of ideas. The green hue faded from the Monokumas, as she was unable to hold it there any longer, but she was far too fast to allow them to recover from their temporary disorientation. Landing on the nearest, she wedged her spear in the joint of its armor where its head met its shoulders, and pierced it through before pulling the spear like a lever, the Monokumas head popping off and sending sparks flying, said head immediately burrowing into the second robot as Undyne's foot kicked it like a football.
With an amused, entertained laugh, the monster leaped from the third of the Monokumas, which now fell out of the sky, but was forced to dodge her body with a twirl in the air as the last fully functional destroyer aimed its flamer at her, the fire roaring hotly at her, singing the tips of her scarlet hair.

Before tumbling out of the air, she determinedly stretched out her arm, managing to grasp onto the flamethrower. It was hot to the touch, but she ignored that for now as the Monokuma lost its balance due to her added wait, and she used the momentum to swing herself back up, barely avoiding the second Monokuma with a head embedded in its chest. Hurling a spear at it that pierced through both the head and into its chest, she landed on the shoulders of the first, bringing back her fist, before plunging it through the final Monokumas skull and into it, only to yank out a series of wires and cables, effectively eliminating the final one as the second fell lifeless from the sky.
Before the one she was on could fall, she performed one final leap, producing a spear as she spun through the air, and plunging her spear into the last of her enemies, straight through its back and into the roof of the flower shop, landing on a knee, some of her crimson hair falling into her eyes as her chest rose and fell heavily, her grin having never faded as the Siren Monokuma ceased moving.

Rising to her full height, the spear disappeared, she flipped her hair out of her face, placing her hands on her hips triumphantly, laughing jovially for several seconds. "They'll think TWICE when they see me again!" But as her victory cemented, her thoughts returned to the one who'd given it to her. That horrid child on the screen. That disgusting human. Perhaps it would have been better to leave one of these things alive to find her exact location, if they had personalities like Mettaton. Otherwise they probably would have just... self-destructed or something. That happened in some anime.
Her eyes began to dart about the street below until she picked out Miles, who was at the other end of the street where she'd been looking. "Hey kid!" She called. "You're smart, right? Think you can trace where that girl on the television is?"

Sub-Zero - Ravaged Battlefield
While somewhat humored by Red's quickness at stuffing the snowball into his mouth and experiencing a brain freeze, there was no physical indication or even reaction from the Grandmaster as he turned away, and continued to lead their trek through the barren wasteland where a battle had once been ferociously fought, though who, what, or why, he didn't know. Strangest of all to him was the lack of any bodies. Blood. No real indications of a fought war with casualties, almost as though everyone had just left. Or been carried away. The battlefield stretched for miles, so if the latter were true, that would have been an extremely long clean-up.
Then... something unsettled him. Frowning, Sub-Zero stopped, beginning to look around them. A large tree was crackling nearby, aflame. The terrain was a bit rocky, and a large hill extended to their left, where it dropped off as a cliff on their side, roots jutting aimlessly out of the side, searching for water that didn't exist regardless of battle.

"We are not alone." The cryomancer warned, two serrated ice daggers appearing in his hands as he took a stance, gazing darkly about. He had nothing else to go on other than an internal feeling, but this feeling was highly familiar to him. They were being watched by an entity of sorts. He couldn't pinpoint where it was, but he knew it was here. Watching them. Its intent, he knew not, but he was certain it wasn't looking for any friends. More than likely hostile.
"Stay on your guard. Something lurks."

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Cave)
After Shroom brutalized a flower, they continued on through this cave of wonders and twists and turns. It was a fairly linear path, no forks, no branching tunnels, so clearly it led somewhere. Either an exit or the treasure, though the Nord was getting a strange feeling in his gut. Different from his usual rumbling of craving spiced mammoth steak. Or the feeling his got got when he hadn't had his daily dose of mead. No, it was the kind that told him that he was about to fight something. Surely it wouldn't be much of a challenge, especially with his capable companions. Two Dwarven Centurions were often the most difficult obstacles to pass in his long experience of dungeon diving, but that creature, that Wendigo he'd fought shortly before arriving had been tough. Sure he'd won, but he doubted that would have been the same if anybody he knew tried the same thing. Dragons and demons he'd faced as well. Everything he'd ever fought had been vanquished, and that thought made him frown as he looked down at his right hand, where the Wendigo's head should have been. "Fuck." He mumbled. "Left my prize outside."

They weren't given much time to think about his forgotten prize as the cave expanded into a much larger cavern, one filled with all sorts of treasures. Not much gold, like he'd been expecting, but silver, and cooking supplies. Iron pots and pans were piled along the walls, alongside an assortment of other iron, silver, or metal items. It was almost like a junk hoard, but what laid in the center of the room is what caught his attention. A great metal beast, curled up on the stone ground. He would have assumed it to be another Dwarven construct, but the lack of gold plating, and the fact that it was clearly breathing disproved that theory.
It was entirely new, and clearly a beast to fight, unlike this tiny metal beasties that Slash had dealt with. No, this would most certainly be the final challenge to earn the treasure. It almost reminded him of a slumbering dragon, protecting its treasure. Perhaps it liked iron, considering all of the iron it had collected, mostly manmade products.
Brandishing his axe, he grinned beneath his beard, glancing over at Shroom, then at Slash, silently checking to see that they were prepared for this as well.

Metal Sonic
Metal looked down at the ground and noticed three lifeforms, two of which were quickly classified as hostile. It took him about an eighth of a second to recognize one of them as Gunvolt, the idiot from the tournament who caused this whole mess. He'd punish him later though, right now he needed to get the key to Eggman. The problem was, they seemed to be after it as well. Metal stopped in midair to avoid the lightning attacks that were cleverly aimed to intercept his flight path, then quickly boosted upwards with his jet engine to avoid the other electric attack that was sent out by the girl. Metal then tossed the key higher up in the air, then quickly curled into a ball and slammed down into the ice that the trio was standing on, landing right in the middle of them. He easily broke through the ice, leaving a gaping hole, revealing the below-freezing cold water underneath. If the plan worked well, the trio would fall into the water. Metal then flew back up into the sky and caught the key flawlessly. He then began to fly away at incredibly high speeds. The ice around the hole he made began to collapse, revealing even more of the water. The ice was collapsing at an alarming speed, the hole becoming larger and larger. While this attack had a chance to incapacitate the trio, it was mainly a distraction to help Metal get away.

The Robotos
One of the Egg Cannons was hit by all of Copen's attacks, receiving severe damage, but not enough to take it out. It launched homing missiles at him, hoping to blast him out of the sky. Another one of the Egg Cannons had a few of its missiles blown back into it, causing it to take damage and retreat back into the air. The other two remained undamaged. Then, they all stopped for a moment, receiving orders from Eggman. All of a sudden, the two damaged ones flew straight towards the Warthog, expecting them to dodge. If they did, they'd hit the ground and blow up in a large explosion, sacrificing themselves. If they didn't dodge, hey what the heck, they'd either hit them dead on or take enough damage that they explode anyway. The two undamaged ones fired off one last barrage of homing missiles, then flew back to where they came, as per Eggman's orders.

Dr. Eggman
"Units 1 and 3, report back to me, units 2 and 4, go down swinging." Eggman told them through a radio channel that they all were on. Eggman then held the key up to the sky and harnessed its power. Suddenly, the Egg Carrier appeared through a rift in the sky, as well as many smaller ships surrounding it, each armed with good defenses and great offenses, though they weren't much compared to the Egg Carrier. (I'll post two pictures of the Egg Carrier on Discord.)
Eggman laughed maniacally and boarded the Egg Carrier. The Egg Cannons covered him while he went, then once he was in, they boarded the Egg Carrier as well, going to one of the large areas where armies of robots were held. Now that the Egg Carrier was powered by the key, (this was discussed in Discord) it was even more powerful than before. While they weren't an issue anymore, Eggman wanted to send a message to the group down on the ground. So, he did the only rational thing, rained missiles down on them. These missiles were much larger and more powerful than the ones the Egg Cannons used. They rained down for about 30 seconds, then stopped. The front of the Egg Carrier opened, revealing a large laser cannon. It seemed to be aiming straight forward, but it soon became clear what Eggman was aiming at. Suddenly, Eggman's voice could be heard from loud intercoms, echoing throughout many of the areas, being loud enough to be heard from the Ravaged Battlefield. "YOUR PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A BATTLESHIP IS SHAMEFUL, STURM! I'LL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WORKED FOR! PREPARE TO BE DISINTEGRATED!" And with that, the laser cannon went off, firing a large blue laser that soared above many areas, before finally colliding with Sturm's battleship. The battleship exploded, taking out the fleet around it as well. Then, the front of the Egg Carrier closed once again, concealing the laser cannon. "CONSIDER THIS A WARNING TO ALL WHO DARE EVEN THINK OF OPPOSING THE GREAT DR. EGGMAN!" Eggman said, his voice being heard on the intercoms once more. (Since Devoid dropped, I thought it was cool to go ahead and get rid of Sturm. I think this was also briefly discussed as well.) And with that, the Egg Carrier flew high up into the clouds, out of sight for now.

" C H A O S, C H A O S!" Jevil yelled, throwing spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts everywhere he could see, destroying trees, rocks, signs, and even small food booths. After a few minutes of this, he transformed into Devilsknife and began cutting his way through trees just for the heck of it. After about 30 seconds of this, he flew back up into the air and transformed back to normal. Then, he bounced around and danced while causing mass destruction with his attacks.

Aegislash
Aegislash simply trailed behind Shroom and Man in Armor, which Aegislash now decided was the man's name, throughout the cave, still powered up from blocking the Centurion's attacks, as the fight wasn't over yet, and Aegislash had a feeling his allies knew it too. That's when they came across it, an Aggron. These things were no joke, but he had allies. He looked at the man and nodded. Well, he actually just squinted a little and move forward a bit, but it was meant to be a nod. Then he looked at Mushroom fr confirmation on if he was ready as well.

Knuckles
Knuckles quickly skid to a stop to avoid being crushed by the falling rocks. "DANG IT!" He said and punched a nearby wall, severely cracking it, which didn't help with the cavern's instability. He wasn't gonna let this stop him though. He jumped up, then spun into the ground, burrowing through it. His plan was to go under the falling debris, appear on the other side, and punch the robot in the face!

Green was left speechless as the sky opened up for the colossal ship. This was bad...really bad! Thinking fast, he took out his Tether, shooting it toward Coatlus’s legs. Swinging from the warthog, he suspended himself from Coatlus, dangling a bit helplessly.

“Stay clear of the attack!” He called up to hunter, referring to the missiles about to pepper the battlefield.

Red
Ravaged Battlefield

His brain-freeze having finally subsided, Red had little time to feel the relief as Sub-Zero alerted him to a possible enemy presence.

“Wha? W-Were is it?” The boy stammered, drawing his blade.

Suddenly, Sturm’s ship In the distance was hit by a powerful weapon, the entire ship catching ablaze. This power shocked Red as he saw the ship fall down and crash, giving off a bright orange explosion. Sturm was a little fish? What does that make the big fish?

The thought of that made Red shake, tears starting to come up in the corners of his eyes. This was starting to sound more and more dangerous as time went on. He hoped the others were okay...

•Detecting Egg Carrier signature. Point of return designated.•

Gamma switched to X-ray vision, seeing through a large portion of the falling debris. Seeing Knuckles path clear as day, he began to charge up an attack from is primary cannon, so as soon as knuckles would rear his ugly head, he would get blasted by a point blank blaster shot!

Blue meanwhile grumbled as Knuckles attacked another time. This guys has a mind filled with rocks. I’ll show him how it’s really done! Seeing an opening in the debris as the falling rocks slowly began to subside, Blue charged forward, hammer at the ready.

*Grab!*

Gamma grabbed the wrist of blue before he could impact him. The machine wasn’t even looking his way! Simultaneously with the knuckles endeavor, he rotated his arm 360 degrees, flinging Blue behind him and into a wall.

“Agh!”

Falling down near the weird animal mural, Blue grit his teeth. That robot was strong. How were they gonna get the jump on him?

@Captain Pokémon

"We're stuck with him Geo, at least he can fight for himself. I don't know what is coming our way, but it sure won't be a walk in the park. Let's wave change just in case." Omega-Xis opted as he once again fused with his partner.

"Okay, now what? We're just gonna walk in the general direction of that grim reaper?"

"Well I don't see any other ways of transport, do you? You got legs, use them! You're still young and fit, you fight viruses on the daily with planetary destructive forces once every three months. Surely you can walk."

---------------

"No need to tell me twice! Diving Thrust, Coatlus! Hold on tight!" Hunter ordered his mount to attack, though there were no enemies nearby to attack and not die in the process. Instead, the Quetzalcoatlus dashed in the opposite direction of the bombs that were dropping down. The reptile managed to pick up impressive speed for its size, though Hunter hoped that Green didn't get sent flying because of this.

Gunvolt - Ice Cap Zone

"Whoa-"

Metal Sonic came crashing down at blinding speeds, easily shattering the ice the trio stood on. Gunvolt was unable to react in time as the ice gave in, dropping him into the freezing water underneath. He managed to swim over to a not yet collapsed chunk of ice, pulling himself up carefully and rolling over a fair distance to get himself out of the immediate danger zone. He looked up to where Metal Sonic once was, the robot having flown off to the east from what he could tell.

"Dammit..." He muttered. Metal had gotten away with the key, and there was probably no chance of them catching up. They'd probably have to hunt a different key down instead. Refocusing on the situation at hand, he had to help Audrey and Swole out of the freezing water. Audrey would be first, seeing as she wasn't able to fly like Swole could.

"Hold on, I'll help you outta there! Try and hold your arms up!" He called out to them before running towards the hole in the ice, jumping so he would end up in the water again. Before he was able to touch the extremely cold water, he'd grab Audrey's hopefully outstretched hands and perform an Air Jump, followed by an Air Dash to get her out and a good distance away from the collapsing ice. He'd repeat the maneuver with Swole if the bug wasn't able to get out of the water by himself. Helping the buff mosquito would hopefully be easier due to it having wings to aid it in getting out.

Copen - Mountains

With his initial attack on the machine having been successful, Copen was ready to attack again when the robot launched several missiles towards him. Luckily, he had lots of experience dealing with those. Lola knew what he was thinking thanks to their years of experience working together, switching EX Weapons as she turned from pink to green in color, two small green attachments coming out of her sides as well, facing downwards. The P-Bits formed a sphere around Copen, spawning two, large high density bladed discs that rotated around him. They effortlessly sliced the missiles in half, blowing them up from a safe distance. The EX Weapon based off the "Gravity" Septima: Orbital Edge.

The machine seemed to stop for a moment, before suddenly flying off along with another robot. They were flying towards the Warthog with the goal of destroying it in a kamikaze maneuver. "Chief, they're heading towards you!" He warned him through comms, firing laser shots towards the robots from where he hovered, hoping to take them out before they could reach the vehicle. Suddenly, Lola picked up a massive energy reading from high up.

"Boss, readings are off the charts up there!" She exclaimed, causing Copen to direct his gaze upwards at where the robots' commander was. A massive rift appeared out of nowhere, with a large airship emerging from it, accompanied by several smaller ships. Watching things unfold in shock, Copen grit his teeth when several panels opened up on the largest airship. Missiles were coming. Much bigger than the last ones, and many more of them.

"Shit...!" Copen muttered, flying as far away as he could with the two Bullits he had available at that moment. Barely not enough, as he was still within range of a few of them. He braced for impact as the missiles came closer, the P-Bits orbiting faster around him as they formed a force field to protect themselves and their creator with one of the Azure Striker's greatest techniques: the Flashfield. While he was mostly protected from the blasts, they struck with enough force to send him flying towards the ground, only saved from crashing into the ground below by slowing his descent with the jets on his boots and back. He managed to land safely, having taken some damage, a couple parts of his suit dented or slightly burnt. He'd be fine, though. His suit coupled with his Flashfield's protection made for some solid defense.

"Boss! Are you OK?!"

"I'm fine... It's nothing. Everyone else alright?" Copen asked the group over comms.

The Knight - Rivet Ravine (Cave)

Having arrived at some sort of cavern filled with iron items of all shapes and sizes, the Vessel looked at the monster in the middle of the room curiously. Probably the last obstacle they'd have to face before they obtained whatever treasure was hidden deep within these caves. The Knight gave the man in armor a determined look (or what could be interpreted as it, since it had no facial features), nodding as it took out its nail, ready to fight. White energy gathered around the bug as it got a Nail Art ready, wanting to start the upcoming fight at an advantage.

Bowie - Above Urban District
Bowie felt cornered. His only ally in this den of beasts was now against him. It seemed like as soon as Monaca started crying, he lost any standing he had with all of them. He was going to try and make some kind of argument to help him but was interrupted by Kotoko before he got the chance.

"Oh no Monaca! I know the boy is evil for not helping us destroy all the adults, here I'll cry with you. HOW COULD YOU BETRAY YOUR FELLOW KIDS WHEN YOU HAVE SUCH A CUTE ADORBS ALIEN! IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!" Kotoko was obviously not going to help him out of this situation.

"I'm sorry you've had to listen to this demon sympathizer that our leader brought in Monaca. Let me take care of him. We know whatever comes out of his mouth next won't matter, he's shown his true colors." He held some kind of remote in his hand, suddenly a bunch of kids in bear masks came into the room holding an extra one for Bowie. "This should make you a little more cooperative with our plans."

Bowie didn't know what to do. He was scared and there were way too many of them to take them all on. He had to come up with a plan fast. "Masaru, are you really going to let them do this to me after all we've been through? I thought you were the leader here, doesn't it matter how you feel?" He hoped that would work, but in case he didn't he was also digging through his backpack, searching for a jellybean that might get him out of this situation.

Tails - Urban District
Tails just watched as Undyne started tearing her way through all of the Monokuma. It was quite impressive, certainly a feat that was on par with Sonic or Knuckles. Meanwhile any robots he started to try and attack would just ignore him and go straight for Undyne. He was having a hard time understanding this. Maybe the sensors couldn't pick up extra-dimensional beings? No, obviously that wasn't the case since clearly Undyne wasn't from around here either. What if they just didn't have anything that could detect a being as short as I am? No obviously not, I flew right up to one of their faces and I still didn't get a reaction. He then remembered the kids who introduced the Monokumas in the first place. That's it! The Monokumas must be programmed to not attack kids, so they must have some kind of age sensor in their components.

Tails was quite proud of himself for figuring out the reason... until a robot part landed right next to him and he was brought back to reality. Undyne had called out to him about tracking where the signal was coming from. He should be able to do that, but it wouldn't be as easy as she made it sound. Obviously, those kids were in charge of these robots, so wherever the kids are, the controller for the Monokumas should be. All he had to do was track down where the Monokumas were getting their orders from. "Yeah, I should be able to do that, but I'm going to need you to grab all of the robot parts you can carry and bring them back to my plane!"

Reize - Urban Ruins
Reize was a little taken back by the sudden betrayal of Papyrus, but he guessed it couldn't be helped. He remembered his 17th Knight's Vow: No matter how mountainous the adversary, standing your ground is key! "I'm sorry about your people, but I can't allow you to take my soul. I was hoping we would be able to be friends, but if this is how you want to play it, you leave me no choice!" Reize rushed straight in. He had his Boomerangs in an inverted grip, where it could be held as an extension of his arms. This was a good offensive tactic, and it would be perfect for ending this fight quickly. He didn't want to kill Papyrus, but he did want to put him out of commission enough to stop this fight. His plan was to rush straight up to Papyrus and hit him with an upward slash before he tried any of his own moves.

Specter Knight - Plains of Monstadt
On a cliff not too far from where Geo and Bennett were talking, sat the ghostly knight, trying to get in contact with his superior. "Ah Specter Knight, how good of you to make contact, I guess that means your first hunt went as planned?

"I was able to acquire one of the travelers and capture them for our cause, but the other two were strong so I made the tactical decision to escape so that I didn't waste my energy on just one fight.

"Only one? You must be rusty, knight. Remember, if you ever want to be free of my control, you'd better bring me an army." Specter Knight paused at the sound of this.

"Yes Enchantress. I understand"

The dark acolyte in charge of the mirror chimed in. "Well I think you're next step should be getting to a place where you can send your trophies back. Our strongest connection to that world is through your old stomping grounds, the Lych yard. We can send things through the portal just fine, but it looks like that's the only place that you'll be able to come back through or send stuff back through.

"I'll make my way there then, and if I encounter any potential assets on the way, I guarantee they will fall."

Jataro looked at a blinking light at the other side of the room, signifying that a significant portion of Monokuma units were destroyed in quick succession down on the surface. Oh...well that’s not good... I should really tell Monaca about that. But she’s already so saaaad...I’d be hated forever if I brought even more bad news... I really am a pathetic piece of meat...

Masaru crossed his arms in front of Monaca as the Monokuma Kids made their appearance. He hadn’t expected Bowie to be so stout and aggressive, even to make Monaca cry. Unbelievable! Coming at a crossroads weather to defend Bowie or his title as Hero and Leader, the choice became apparent.

“What are you talkin’ about? Of course you’ll still be on our side! You’re just gonna have a fancy to head peace to prove your loyalty is all. It’s the least you can do after making Monaca cry like that!”

Coming in as her knight in shining armor, he snatched the helmet from a Monokuma Kid’s grasp, glaring at him while holding it in his hands.

“Now Put. it. On.

Somehow it seemed defending Monaca turned Masaru into a different person, as if their history mattered less as to his feelings toward the wheelchair donning girl. She sniffled, still crying a little.

“If he had a helmet...that might make Monaca feel a little better.”

@Nukas

Monokuma

A Monokuma kid watched from behind a corner as Undyne finished her carnage on the the murderous bears. It had a camera in their right hand, having recorded the entire display. An adult that seemed to be putting up a fight and a child that aided them.

More and more of these children however began to appear into the streets, often in groups playing with each other. As the Monokuma carried on their work, the Monokuma Kids would jump on the battered cars, break into shops, and start painting the streets and walls in sloppy art.

Some even dragged out trophies, tied them up, and tapped the base, waking the adult trapped inside. That’s when they would take turns seeing how many punches or knife wounds it would take to make them trophy again before repeating the process over and over again.

@comic

Monokuma chased after the Sumeragi troops until they were interrupted by the sentrys, who appeared to spin up spiked shields as Monokuma mindlessly dogpiled on them.

*Crash!* *Shatter!* *BZZZT!*

One by one they broke apart and were destroyed by them until only one was remaining. This one however was different. It seemed to be dressed like a soldier, carrying a large oil drum strapped to it’s back, filled to the brim with grenades! The grenadier monokuma took the pins off two grenades in either hand as if sprinted toward the sentrys in the tight corridor, going full kamikaze!

Their acceptance of him going on the journey with them filled the boy with inspiration. Jutting his fist out toward the horizon, Bennet exclaimed.

Master Chief - The Mountains
Fortunately, Green was off to relative safety. At least out of the hog for now, as John glared at two of the large bots moving high, before making a trajectory toward the ground, right where the warthog was headed.
"Chief, they're trying to suicide bomb us! Any ideas?" Cortana asked urgently. The Spartan nodded slightly. "One. You won't like it." He stated, before dropping in front of the hog and slamming his feet into the ground. Cortana acted accordingly, putting the hog into reverse to slow its speed. The combination allowed the two to stop the vehicle almost instantaneously, though they were presumably still within the explosion radius of the two robots, which Chief had a plan for as well. Quickly, he reached behind his back, grabbing a device and slamming it to the ground just as the eruption took place, and Chief alongside his warthog were seemingly consumed by it- before the initial flash cleared, revealing John and the Warthog within a transparent bubble, a shield produced by the device he'd used.

Chief wasted no time in retrieving Cortana's chip from the hog and inserting it back into his helmet, still holding the explosive head of the missile he'd disabled. "Green, Copen, Hunter, board that ship if you can." John ordered. "What will we do?" Cortana asked as Chief looked at the fleeing robots, still near enough to the ground. "Catch a ride." He stated, and took off at an inhuman sprint, hitting 50 mph within seconds, tearing up the earth beneath his boots as he moved. He'd run faster before, hitting sixty once, but that had nearly torn him up. He couldn't risk any injuries right now, so didn't push past his limits as he ran, closing the distance between himself and the fleeing robots quickly, as they hadn't picked up their speed just yet.
Finally, with a great kick against the ground, the Spartan went skyward, hurling the missile head at the furthest of the two robots, aiming exactly where he intended- one of its rockets. In the eruption, it lost power to one of its thrusters, quickly losing altitude and dropping from the sky as John landed on the back of the other, boots magnetically attaching to it as he looked up to see the leader of these forces in his own unique vehicle ahead of them, heading for the carrier. These robots were supposed to be covering him, but one was already out of commission.

"I've been hijacking their communications channels, and if my intel is right, that's somebody named 'Dr. Robotnik', or as he calls himself; 'Eggman'." Cortana informed, and John frowned. An odd choice of a name, considering eggs were usually considered rather harmless and fragile, but one look at Eggman's head, and the style of his vehicle, made him realize that it was more of a physical thing, not so metaphorical.
"Do they know we're joining them uninvited?" He asked. "If they do, they haven't addressed it. John, we don't know what's waiting in there. It might be better if-"
"We'll be fine." The Spartan stated simply. Personally, he often preferred a little more intel as well, but given the situation, it was better to see what this enemy was capable of. Learn their motives quickly, and if possible, shut them down."

They entered the carrier, and Eggman immediately went into a screaming rant as he stared at a screen. The room they'd entered was full with a legion of more robots, though the position of the one he clung to fortunately concealed him from sight, for now. It didn't seem to have noticed him either, which was a bonus. His luck was holding out.
Detaching himself, John dropped to the ground, boots absorbing the pressure as he landed. Despite his size and weight, his landing was almost completely silent, especially masked by the yelling of Eggman. Slinking to the walls and dropping into the shadows, the Spartan finally looked toward the commander of this ship. "What's he doing?" He asked, silencing his external speakers, disallowing anyone outside of his suit to hear him.
"Show of power. Just blew a rival fleet out of the air and... rained hellfire where we were."
"The others?" John asked immediately, barely noticing as his hands tightened into fists. "No reported casualties. They're all alive. I hope."
He agreed. There was no telling how long he could go undetected in the belly of the beast, so it would be wise to find Cortana a place to absorb as much data as possible before then. Fortunately, this wasn't like trying to infiltrate a Covenant carrier. This ship was much smaller, and considering its crew, probably didn't have as many patrols. Though getting found out by a lonesome being wouldn't be as easy to get away with now, as he was certain these robots could instantaneously alert others, opposed to the Covenant needing time to do it.
"What's the plan?" Cortana asked as Chief began to scout along the walls, searching for a hallway or a maintenance access to go through and get out of this densely populated location. "Get intel and get out before they notice us." Chief stated.

The Dragonborn - Rivet Ravine (Aggron's Lair)
Shroom and Slash confirmed to him that they were prepared in their own unique ways. Perfect. Now to make the fight more interesting... A sudden yell echoed through the cave, reverberating against the walls. The Dragonborn was letting out a war cry to wake the Aggron, clashing the side of his axe against the stone wall, resulting in a loud clang.

The Aggron stirred, letting out an annoyed bellow from the back of its throat as it slowly rose to its full height, dwarfing the others, its glare piercing into them.
With it awake, the Nord ceased his racket, grinning as he stared up at the beast, before it let out a roar, accepting their challenge, allowing the battle to commence.

Sub-Zero - Ravaged Battlefield
The fleet that had caused them such grief was blasted out of the sky in a blinding flash by a more distant... something. It was too far to see, but it had clearly established itself as a much larger threat. That was just great- though they could very well be allies. It was better to assume otherwise for now until proven trustworthy.
"It will be days before we reach our destination at this rate." Sub-Zero stated, glaring about, trying to find anything other than a dead wasteland.
He saw nothing. But that didn't mean there wasn't anything, he just needed a different way to look. "Stop here for a moment." He told them, and settled into the ground, crossing his legs as he closed his eyes, beginning to meditate, searching and feeling his surroundings, in search of anything that they'd pass or had already passed by just going along in a straight path.

It was several minutes, before he sensed a presence a ways off to their right. Perfect. Opening his eyes, Kuai Liang climbed o his feet. "There's something in that direction." He stated, gesturing to their right. "Gengar. You can hide yourself from prying eyes. Head that way and see if there's anything there."

Undyne - Urban District
Miles wanted her to collect parts of the Monokumas she'd annihilated to bring to his... plane? Okay then. She began to scoop up copious amounts of scrap, accumulating a large ball ten times her size that she held above her head triumphantly. "Got it!" She stated, before she noticed in the distance a group of smaller Monokumas- or maybe children wearing Monokuma masks? All of them were apparently killing- no... the people they were abusing, or even quite possibly killing if this was how death worked here, seemed to turn into strange statues, the same size as they already were, but with a massive coin beneath their feet. Almost like they were trophies of some sort. The Monokumas would touch the base of these statues, and the people would revive, only to follow the same process

It was sickening... and as much as she wanted to obliterate these other Monokumas, she decided finding the controllers was a higher priority. Cut the head off the spaghetti, or whatever the saying was.
Tearing her eye away, she looked back at Miles. "Let's get this thing built and find those demon kids."

Papyrus - Urban Ruins
It seemed that Papyrus had no plans of dodging, instead allowing Reize to land his hit, which surprisingly only knocked Papyrus back a pace, but before Reize could do anything else, he was suddenly back at the other end of the hall, Papyrus returning to his spot, still bopping to the beat.
"YOU THOUGHT THAT... WE COULD BE FRIENDS?" He appeared more conflicted than before. "NOBODY HAS EVER WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND..."
However, despite his internal conflict, he still used his turn, a series of blue bones sticking up out of the ground and sliding their way toward him. He deftly leaped over them, probably unsure of what would happen if they hit him, but found there was another short wall of bones headed his way, taller than the first, and another wall behind it even taller, the last two dropping in height before Papyrus stopped sending the bones, his turn over, the beat still bopping as he waited for Reize to dodge and then act.
