It sprung open releasing an East Sea Shellos which flopped on the ground releasing a gurgly like noise. "Ready?"

"You bet I am!" the trainer exclaimed. He stood in the stadium faced off against Mocha's Pokemon waiting for Professor Sakura to give the signal to start. "I'll go full force right from the start. That seems like a good way to do it." he thought to himself, formulating a game plan.
Michael noticed Alan slip out the doors but was to scared to follow. Instead he watched the other trainers battle against each other. He moved slowly down the steps not shifting his gaze from the battles. He settled down on the last bleacher and patted the spot next to him beckoning Larvitar over. "Stay close to me." The trainer said to his pokemon companion. Michael reached towards his belt and picked Abra's pokeball off. "Come on out buddy." Abra appeared on the floor in front of Michael his gaze shifting towards the battles.

Matthew smirked, "Alright Chimchar use Flame Wheel! Mareep use Charge!" he shouted. The fire type brought fire to it's mouth and let it swell up and surround him. He then made a beeline striaght for Buneary while Mareep stayed in the back and fluffed up it's fur coat, letting electricity dance around it.

Matthew took note of Mocha's countermeasures and decided what to do next. "Alright Monferno keep going then jump and use Ember! Mareep use Charge Beam on Shellos!" he shouted. Monferno plowed through a clone of Buneary and jumped into the air before releasing tons of tiny fire pellets from his mouth, attacking the whole group of Buneary. Meanwhile, Mareep released a bolt of lightning towards Shellos. Matthew smirked, "Shellos may have used Water Sport to stop Chimchar but how about some electric attacks?" he thought to himself.

Matthew gasped at his mistake, "She's right!" he thought to himself as he quickly tried to remove himself from his poor situation. Fake Tears was used on Mareep which completely canceled it's special defense boost from using Charge earlier and even more importantly, Chimchar was about to be hit hard and was in the air. "Chimchar use Protect and Mareep use Tackle on Shellos!" he shouted.
The Monkey blocked the Water Pulse, but was thrown back from the force of the attack. All the while Mareep was charging at Shellos preparing to slam it's body against the opposing Pokemon.

Your battle is cut short by a massive explosion in the floors below the building. Tremors shake the educational center to is very core causing great cracks to form.
Professor Sakura called out her Espeon to help prevent the panicking students from falling through the floor with it's psychic powers.
Panic ensues below, students and Pokémon racing in and out of the building, some seeking safety in the lawn of the education center. Others tryed their hardest to save students who were trapped in the building.
"Everyone please remain calm!" Professor Sakura shouts to the terrified class sounding serious for the first time since any of the students had met her.
Although you can't see the extent of the damage from your position on the roof, all of you can clearly make out the thick trail of black smoke and sparks flying skyward on the front side of the building.

Mareep screeched to a halt and stopped it's attack on the Shellos. "What's going on?" Matthew asked. He returned Mareep and Chimchar hopped onto it's trainer's shoulder. He then ran over to Mocha doing his best to not fall or trip due to the crackling floors. He reached his hand out to Mocha, "Are you coming?" he asked, trying to get the heck out of the school before something terrible happened.
There's a sudden thunderous noise from below that caused the trainer's heart to plummet into her stomach and her visage to turn ghostly pale. Her arm was frozen in the air though it quivered violently in it's place. Cracks formed at her feet and when she was able to calm herself enough, thanks to the Professor's pokemon, she hurriedly stumbled back to what she could deem safety. Once her own instinctual self preservation is secured for the moment, Josephine's mind churned to life and soon she was fumbling for her pokeballs. One by one they were held tightly in her shaking grasp then fastened to her belt as she recalled the creatures. Her widened and panicked eyes then zipped from face to face as she desperately tried to read their expressions for an explanation.

Abra had luckily made his way onto Michael's lap before the explosion occurred because where he was sitting were a giant crack had appeared. Michael released a scream at the sound of the building cracking, he leaped up a few bleachers and pulled Larvitar against his legs protectively. "Return Larvitar." Michael said as he pulled out Larvitar's pokeball. He contemplated protecting Abra in his ball but he could helpm"Abra get ready to teleport people out of here if things go bad." He instructed to the pokemon who rested on his shoulder. Michael scanned the room making sure everyone was okay.

The boy simply laughed a bit and smiled, "I can't blame her. We really do need to get out of here Chimchar." he said. He followed Mocha back into the building. Matthew then looked around for the stairs and once he found them, he sprinted right down them to the bottom floor. He began to run through the halls of the University until he burst through the doors into the outside world. "I hope Mocha made it out alright." he said. He really hated to see this amazing driven to the edge and honestly he didn't know what he would do if the building came down. "Come on Battle Tech hang in there." he said to himself encouragingly.
Domer and Puck slid around the slick field deftly. Because of their severe weakness to fighting types maneuverability had been the primary focus of Ben's training. Although Sova had switched out for a better type advantage, Ben smirked. She was definitely less experienced, or at least performed worse under pressure. He might be able to handle this type disadvantage after all.
"Puck, metal claw! Domer headbutt those flames!"
Puck suddenly gouged into the ground with his glowing claws, stopping his momentum but launching Domer in the air. Domer's head glowed brightly as the flames licked his dome. A roar comes up from the back of the building, when suddenly the head of a large steelex was staring at the students congregated in the roof.
"All of you, get onto steelex!" Shouts a thin green haired woman riding on the pokemon's head.
"Professor Fir!" Shouts Professor Sakura "thank goodness, everyone carefully get onto steelex"
The large silver Pokémon lowered its head permitting the rooftop students to climb aboard.

Piper quickly returned her Pokemon and grabs Jaxon by his wrist to try and avoid as much of the rubble falling.
"Return your Pokemon! We are headed to the roof!" Piper shouted as she dragged him along.
"Wait for us!" She said as she let go of Jaxon's hand and climbed on Steelix.

"Abra take us to that Steelix and don't leave a mirage behind; we do not need to confuse rescuers." Michael instructed to his companion. Abra focused his energy into hypnotising himself. Michael reached up and pulled Abra close to his chest to prevent him from falling of his shoulder. In a instant the trainer and pokemon appeared next to the Steelix. "Good job Abra. Now just rest up." Michael praised his pokemon, rubbing the pokemon's ears.
By then Mocha had already made it out of the building and booked it to a safe distance. She put her hands on her knees as she caught her breath looking up at the smoke and debree. She could only wonder what events occurred but all she knew was that this school can really get your adrenaline pumpin'.
Piper was out of breath when she finally got to sit on the huge Pokemon.
"Does anybody know what on earth happened?!" Piper asked.

Her arms were brought close to her chest where she grabbed handfuls of sweater. She felt dizzy at the idea of climbing atop something so massive, but lacking in guardrails. The fracturing floor, however, convinced her of pushing aside the fear for the meantime. She scrambled up the Steelix and joined her classmates where she stood shaking. How most of them could stay so composed she couldn't hope to understand.
"Anybody?!" Piper looked expectantly at the teacher's.
"Does this happen on a regular basis?"

The Steelix couldn't have been on the grass for more than a few seconds before Josephine rushed off and onto the Earth. It's then that she was able to think properly although a slight shiver remains in her hands that made the sweater rattle over her small frame.
"Wha- Who is- What do you mean Team Forge?" She mumbled as her eyebrows knitted together.

Michael asked to his pokemon. They were just first years, how could they fight bad guys who just blew up a building.
Piper sent out Swinub and Ralts.
"Ralts, use psychic to try and find them above ground , Swinub, use dig to see if they are underground." She told her Pokemon.

"Come on guys!" She whispered to her Pokemon.

"What are we suppose to do? The school is basically ruined, how are we going to eat, and sleep comforta-" Piper was saw a flash of red.

"The security at the school will be increased over the next few days while we figure out how something like this happened" says a gruff man approaching from the side. He has a stoic white beard and olive skin. Dressed nicely in slack and a tweed suit jacket, he looks important. "Classes will also be suspended for a few days"
Piper was confused at this.
"Where are we going to be eating food though, look at the school." Piper waved her arms dramatically at the school, it was now in shambles.
"In case you forgot, we need food." She said to the important looking guy.
