Autumn Friendly 2012 Wi-Fi Tournament Sign-Ups Open

Sign-ups for the Pokémon Global Links latest Wi-Fi tournament for owners of Pokémon Black or Pokémon White, the 2012 Autumn Friendly, have now opened. Trainers wishing to take part have until midnight on the 13th of September to sign-up, and the tournament has 50,000 places available overall. The rules match those used for the Video Game Championships 2012 tournaments and the Global Links random match up mode for double battles.

The Tournament itself will being on the 14th of September until the 17th. This is the second year that the Global Link has held a tournament under the name of Autumn Friendly, the first was last year and marked the first Wi-Fi tournament held for owners of Pokémon Black or Pokémon White through the Global Link. 95% certain the issues will still be there, yes. Of course the good news is that this will probably be the last Wi-Fi tournament for Black & White, so after that we'll get the changes Black 2 & White 2 bring.

Speaking of the disconnection issues: Does anyone know whether there are changes in B2/W2 that actually mitigate any of these problems?
