Private/Closed Welcome to the Battle Frontier

Nina grinned, already tasting her victory. The Garchomp was fast, yes, but Nina knew for a fact that Blutig was faster. The Crobat family was well known among trainers for their remarkably high speed. She looked back toward the Battle Factory, expecting to find Blutig there. However, instead she found that Blutig was flying in the wrong direction, toward a completely different building. Nina yelled to her partner in frustration. "Blutig! What are you DOING?! Fly there!" She jabbed her finger toward the Battle Factory, exaggerating her arm movements. By the time the Crobat understood where to go, however, Landon and Draco were already at the entrance of the facility. "Ugh. Never mind, Blutig. Return." Nina recalled the ditzy Crobat and walked the rest of the way to the facility, cursing under her breath.

As he heard Lyra call to them he turned to look back towards the exit, quickly picking up his bag and hauling it over his back as he ran out. Westley was nice and all but the reason he had came here was to have a shot at the Frontier brain. Upon getting outside he looked to see everyone already racing ahead of him, sighing slightly to himself and then grabbing a Pokeball from his pouch. He clicked the button on the Pokeball and released a Flygon, the dragon looking around in confusion before spotting Fin and lowering its head towards the trainer. With a smile Finion patted the Flygon's head, moving around it to climb onto his back. "Alright, don't drop me this time" The Flygon let out a chunter that was almost like a laugh, it waiting for Finion to wrap his hands around her neck before suddenly taking off, flying desperately quick to catch up with the ground.

Draco came to a sudden stop, which Landon hadn't been expecting and as a result continued rolling until the rope tightened enough to make him fall. "Ow, Draco give me a warning next time," Landon said as he took his skates off, then untied Draco's rope. "Well, well, looks like we have some challengers," a man stated as he approached Landon, the man wore a red cap, a white coat, a dark gray shirt and pants, and had light brown hair, "Hey there I'm Noland, the Factory Head," he introduced as he helped Landon up. "What's a Factory Head?" Landon asked, very confused. "It means he's the Frontier Brain!" a voice called as a reply, Landon turned back and saw Lyra sprinting over, "A Frontier Brain... is like... a Gym Leader..." Lyra added as she tried to catch her breath. "So you're the Frontier Brain?" Landon asked. "I thought that was made clear," Noland sighed as his head fell, "But yeah, I'm Noland the Frontier Brain." Landon smiled, he was getting fired up, "Then Noland, I'd like to challenge you to a battle!" he stated with enthusiasm. "Great, that's what I like to hear," Noland replied with determination before bringing everyone into the Battle Factory.

"So, what kind of Pokemon, will you be using Noland?" Landon asked as they entered the arena. "That's a good question, we'll just have to wait and see," he answered with a sense of optimism in his voice. Landon and Noland both took there places on the field as a referee declared the rules, "This battle will be between Factory Head Noland and the challenger Landon! This will be a best of 3 battle, meaning the first trainer to earn 2 wins, wins the match," the ref declared. Landon smiled as he took out a Pokeball, "Alright Mizu let's-" "Wait a minute!" Noland called, cutting Landon off, "I forgot to mention that for this battle, we'll be using a random team of Pokemon, given to us by the Battle Factory's computer system!" Landon frowned as he put Mizu's Pokeball away. A tray extended onto both sides of the field with three Pokeballs on each of them. Landon and Noland both grabbed their first Pokeball and threw them. Noland's Pokeball released a Shiftry, and Landon's released a Claydol.

Beady, Fin's Flygon, went as fast as she possibly could, furiously beating her wings up and down to fly forwards and then gently fluttering them to slow herself down. The Flygon came to rest next to the entrance, both Finion and Sparky clutching tightly onto the dragon types neck. Clearly they weren't fans of flying fast. Whilst Landon spoke to Noland, Finion climbed down from Beady, patting her head gently and then returning her to her Pokeball and then joining the group again.

He was curious to ask Lyra what was going on since he had missed the conversation outside but he figured out that Landon was battling the frontier Brain. When they were to get to the spectating area Finion chose a front row seat, lifting his goggles around his eyes and watching closely as Sparky hopped off his shoulder, curling him on the chair next to him. "Claydol, psychic and earth- Shiftry grass and ... erm- dark! Landon's at a double disadvantage!" Finion turned to look at Lyra to see what she had to say on the matter.

"You're right, but there's more to a battle than type match up alone," Lyra replied, "I don't think we've properly met, I'm Lyra."

Landon quickly pulled out his Pokedex and checked Claydol's moves, "So we have, Hyper Beam, Trick Room, Ice Beam, and Earth Power," Landon muttered, reviewing the moves. "Shiftry, Dark Pulse!" Noland ordered, Shiftry began running around the battlefield with incredible speed before firing a beam of dark energy straight at Claydol, dealing some major damage. "Claydol, Trick Room!" Landon called in response, beams of light quickly outlined the field and created a room around Claydol and Shiftry. "Not bad, Shifty Take Down!" Noland called, Shiftry began charging at Claydol, but now it was moving much slower than before. "Claydol, Ice Beam!" Landon responded, Claydol positioned it's two stubs for arms and shot a freezing beam straight at Shiftry causing lots of damage, "Nice work Claydol, now use Ice Beam again!" Claydol quickly shot another Ice Beam at Shiftry again. "Shiftry, Whirlwind!" Noland called in response, Shiftry quickly whipped up a whirlwind that sent the Ice Beam in different directions. "He was able to block Ice Beam," Landon muttered in shock, "Alright Claydol, Earth Power!" Claydol's eyes all began to glow as a large blast erupted from underneath Shiftry, dealing some damage. Noland smiled, "You're good kid, I'll give you that, but let's see you beat this," Noland smiled, "Shiftry, Leech Seed!" Shiftry smiled as it fired small seeds at Claydol. "Dodge it!" Landon yelled, Claydol quickly dodged and thanks to the Trick Room Claydol was faster than normal. "Use Whirlwind!" Noland called out, Shiftry quickly whipped up another Whirlwind that caught the Leech Seed and sent it flying straight for Claydol. "Dodge it again!" Landon shouted, but the Whirlwind was to strong for Claydol to maneuver quickly, resulting in the Leech Seeds latching onto Claydol and draining it's energy. "Well time to end this," Noland stated, at the same time the Trick Room ended, it's time was up, "Shiftry end this with Dark Pulse!" Shiftry nodded and shot another dark beam of energy at Claydol. "Claydol, Trick Room!" Landon yelled in a panic, Claydol summoned another Trick Room before being hit with Dark Pulse and getting knocked out. "Claydol is unable to battle!" the ref declared, "The first win goes to Noland!"

Lyra was right, many a battle had been won by a Pokemon with the type disadvantage. He shifted his focus from the battle to Lyra, turning his head to look up to her and then nod with a smile. "I'm Finion, its nice to meet you. Are you Landon's sister?" They always seemed to be together and inseparable, not only now but back in Sinnoh. When he lost to Landon before in the Quater finals Lyra was there.

The outcome of the battle didn't suprise Finion, Shiftry was not only a dangerous Pokemon but it also had the type advantage. What did suprise him was how well Landon did, holding out against Noland for quite a long while and almost beating him. It was rather impressive. Sparky had fallen asleep by now, having cutely curled his tail around himself to make a makeshift pillow and bed. Finion glanced momentarily to the eletric squirrel before returning his attention back to the battle and Lyra.

"I'm not his sister," Lyra replied as she smiled, "I'm actually his girlfriend," Lyra smiled as she blushed a little. "Landon's choice to use Trick Room right before Claydol was defeated, is risky," she commented as she watched Landon recall his Pokemon, "Now whether the Trick Room will help or hurt all relies on his next Pokemon."

Landon placed his hand on the second Pokeball as Noland recalled Shiftry and grabbed his second Pokeball. "Let's go!" they both yelled as they threw their next Pokemon, Landon had sent out a Snorlax, and Noland sent out a Machamp. Landon quickly scanned Snorlax's moves, "Alright Snorlax, Body Slam!" Landon called, Snorlax bolted across the field and leaped above Machamp slamming down on it with all of it's body weight. "Machamp, Close Combat!" Noland yelled, Machamp instantly began pounding furiously on Snorlax, slowly lifting it into the air, while dealing lots of damage, "Now Seismic Toss!" Machamp grabbed Snorlax and slammed it against the floor. "Snorlax can you get up?" Landon asked, Snorlax got up slowly, "Alright, we don't have much time," he told himself, he could see the Trick Room was starting to fade away, "Snorlax Mega Punch!" Snorlax dove at Machamp and hit it hard with Mega Punch sending Machamp flying, at the same time, the Trick Room disappeared. "Perfect, now Machamp Dynamic Punch!!" Noland yelled, Machamp dove at Snorlax, ready to unleash it's most powerful attack. "Now Snorlax Hyper Beam!" Landon yelled, at the last second Snorlax launched a powerful beam at Machamp causing a huge explosion. When the smoke had cleared, Machamp laid unable to battle. "Machamp is unable to battle," the referee declared, "The second win goes to the challenger!"

Lyra being Landon's girlfriend was going to be his second guess but it did explain alot. Finion didn't pry on anymore about thier relationship though, he was to young to be bothered with that nonsense. "And how long the trick room will stay up for" If it was in Landon's favour he'd have to be quick, if it was against Landon he'd have to somhow hold out. "Snorlax! That means Landon's got the speed but Noland's got the type advantage" He leaned forwards with a grin, thoroughly engaged and interested in the battle that was waging, tensing and relaxing at everyone move and every counter. A small cheer escaped him as Landon one, Finion concealing quickly though and calming himself down. "... Match point for both of them"

"This final battle will decide who wins," Lyra commented as she watched in anticipation.

Landon and Noland both took there Final Pokeball, "Let's go!" they both yelled as they threw their Pokeballs releasing a Scizor on Landon's side and an Ursaring on Noland's side. "Scizor, use Metal Claw!" Landon ordered after review the moves, Scizor quickly closed in on Ursaring delivering a powerful Metal Claw, directly into Ursaring's stomach. "Ursaring, Fury Swipes!" Ursaring roared as it began swiping at Scizor multiple times while also delivering some serious damage. "That Ursaring is strong, but we'll be stronger!" Landon yelled, Scizor nodded with a smile, "Now Scizor use X-Scissor!" Scizor slashed at Ursaring using X-Scissor to deal some more damage. "Hammer Arm!" Noland responded, Ursaring nailed Scizor with a powerful Hammer Arm, plowing it into the ground. "Scizor!" Landon yelled, Scizor got up slowly, "Alright, Scizor Fury Cutter!" Scizor quickly dove at Ursaring and began swiping so fast it was hard to keep track of it's movements. Ursaring was receiving lots of damage from the Fury Cutter, "Ursaring, I think it's time we end this!" Noland smiled, "Use Hyper Beam!" Ursaring roared to get Scizor away before firing a Hyper Beam straight at it. "Scizor, dodge it!" Landon yelled, Scizor leaped above the Hyper Beam and spread it's wings using the shock wave to allow itself to fly higher. "Now Scizor, Giga Impact!" Landon shouted, Scizor became surrounded in spiraling purple light as it propelled itself straight at Ursaring, scoring a direct hit and knocking out Ursaring. "Ursaring is unable to battle," the referee announced, "So with two wins, the victory goes to the challenger!" Landon leaped up and cheered at the call.

After recalling Scizor and putting the Pokeballs back Landon met Noland in the center of the field, "Well, Landon you showed an excellent ability to adapt to what Pokemon you were given without any prior knowledge," Noland said as he was given a tray with a small circular medal on it, "Please accept this, Knowledge Symbol." Landon happily took the symbol, it had three diamonds in a pattern like the Forest Badge, "Oh yeah, I got the knowledge symbol!" he cheered. Noland handed Landon something else, it was like a badge case, but 7 small slots were in it, specifically made for the frontier symbols, "This is a portfolio, you can use it to store all of your Frontier Symbols," Noland explained. "Thank you very much!" Landon smiled as he placed his first symbol in his portfolio.

Finion found the situation awfully tense yet thrilling at the same time, watching the battle closely and carefully to see how it would go and try to predict what would happen. He was so focused he didn't even notice Sparky, who had awoken, digging through his bag and taking out some food. As Landon won he once again let out a happy cheer, jumping up whilst still holding the railings. Once again he calmed down quickly, watching the exchange between Landon and Noland and taking note of the portfolio and badge. He was wondering whether he wanted to try it or not again. It seemed like Landon found it difficult, the guy who wiped his entire team with one Pokemon in Sinnoh found the frontier difficult so what chance did Finion have ... but he had came all the way to Kanto, so he might as well. His face scrunched up slightly, Finion appearing to be strained before he raised his hand into the air, shouting enthusiastically "Dibs going next!"

"I'll wait a little longer before I go," Alex said walking in and taking a seat. He looked and reconized a few trainers he had saw previously, but their names, slipped his mind. "I mean after all, I was the last one to showatch up, and you've all been waiting for a while. I'll just study Noland's moves." He said plopping down in a seat next to Finion, and crossing his arms

Nina audibly groaned after hearing that she would have to wait longer. Unfortunately for her though, dibs were called, and you just don't argue with dibs. It wasn't a thing that a decent person did. People who argue with dibs are probably the people responsible for those half-baked criminal groups around the world. Needless to say, Nina wasn't thinking clearly at the moment, choosing to daydream during Landon's battle rather than observe it. Well, as long as she had to wait longer, might as well catch a few Zs. "Oi, one of yous wake me up after the kid's done. I plan on battlin sometime today." And with that, Nina leaned back in her seat and dozed off.

"Alright then kid, come down here," Noland told Finion as he took his place on the battlefield. "Same rules as before, our Pokemon are randomly given to us by the Battle Factory's computer system, then it's a best of 3," Noland explained.

"Congrats on your first win," Lyra commented as Landon wade his way to the viewing area. "Thanks," he replied, "but it wasn't easy."

He nodded to Noland as he explained things then turned around to look at Sparky, pointing a finger at him and giving a small smile. "Stay here, alright" The Pachirisu gave a small huff but agreed, sitting himself down on the stand as Finion went onto the battlefield. "Okay!" Once he was on the opposite side of the field he called back to Noland and gave a thumbs up, an excited but nervous smile on his face as he glanced down to his Pokedex, ready to scan whatever Pokemon he got for moves.

The trays were extended with three Pokeballs each. Noland took his first Pokeball and threw it, a Gyarados burst out and roared so loud it shook the Battle Factory a little.

"So his first Pokemon is a Gyarados," Landon commented as he looked at it, "That Gyarados looks powerful." Lyra also took a look at it, "It looks like it would tear your Gyarados into little pieces with no issues," she joked. Landon smiled, when it came to his Gyarados, it wasn't the toughest, in fact it was probably the gentlest Gyarados you'd every meet, "Now to see what his Pokemon is," Landon commented, the face looked familiar but he just couldn't put a name on it.

Finion flinched slightly as the Gyrados roared, looking at it with worried expression and gulping slightly as he reached for his first Pokeball, gently muttering to himself. "Please don't be a grass type, please don't be a grass type, please don't grass type, please grass type" He clicked the button to release the Pokemon, a braviary erupting from the ball and letting out a triumphant call as it hovered on the spot. For a moment he assessed his moves, taking note of them before looking up to Noland and waiting for him to call the first move.

"Gyarados, Ice Beam!" Noland called, Gyarados shot a freezing beam straight for Braviary.

"Ice Beam is super effective against a flying type like Braviary," Landon commented, he knew that type match up wouldn't decide every match but it would still be tough to win, "Okay have we met this guy before," Landon asked Lyra as he pointed to Finion. "I've never met him, but his name is Finion," she replied. Landon grabbed his head in frustration as he fell back trying to think of where he had heard that name before.

"Braviary dodge it!" Finion was quick to call his command, watching carefully as the Braviary frantically fluttered out the way of the beam of ice. As it picked up speed it managed to keep dodging the ice beam, gliding gracefully and rolling around the attack until it scrapped his tail. The flying type let out a cry and fell momentarily, regaining balance however and gliding towards the Gyrados. "Use double team to get close then use shadowclaw!" Braviary did exactly that, multiple images of the bird appearing on the field until around 10 braviary's were flying towards the water flying type, thier talons glowing a dark purple.

The Shadow Claw hit Gyarados hard knocking it down, "Gyarados!" Noland yelled, Gyarados got up slowly, "Use Hydro Pump!" Gyarados roared as it shot a high powered stream of water straight for Braviary and all of it's clones, "Let's see ya dodge this!" Noland boasted proudly.

His teeth gritted slightly as the clones began to disappear, Finion thinking desperately of what to do before snapping his fingers and calling his move. "Meet it with a hyperbeam!" The Braviary's beak opened and shot out a beam of orange energy, it meeting with the Hydro pump and struggling against it before it was overwhelmed. The Hydro pump engulfed the hyper beam and travelled straight up to the bird type Pokemon, hitting it and pushing it straight into the wall. After the hydro pump was finished Braviary dropped to slightly, still flapping but clearly struggling. Finion having an uneasy look as he thought of what to do. He was panicking, nothing was working, what could he do?

"Gyarados Ice Beam again!" Noland ordered, Gyarados shot another freezing beam at the Braviary that was trying to get up.

"If Braviary doesn't dodge this it could be over," Landon muttered as he continued to think about where he had seen, Finion's face before. "Yeah but who knows Braviary can still pull this back," Lyra replied as they both watched the battle.

Finion had an idea, a risky one but it was all he had left. "Brave bird right through it!" The braviary flew forwards, an intense golden glow surrounding it as it used bravebird and flew into the ice beam. "Go!" Braviary flew forwards, summoning all its strength to power through the attack but just as it was about to hit Gyrados it weakened, unable to hold Brave bird much longer and pushed into the ground by ice beam. The flying type laid on its back, fainted. "Dangit"

"Braviary is unable to battle, Gyarados wins!" the referee declared, "The first win goes to Noland!" Noland recalled Gyarados and grabbed the second Pokeball off of the tray and immediately threw it, releasing an Exploud, "Lucky pick," Noland muttered to himself.

Landon fell back and began moaning. "Landon are you okay?" Lyra asked as she offered to help him up. "So, hungry..." he replied as he tried to reach for his bag. "Just grab some lunch from your bag," Lyra told him. "I'm trying..." Landon continued to moan, when he grabbed his bag, he saw a small purple tail sticking out, "Hey get out of there!" he yelled as a Rattata ran off with a sandwich in it's mouth.

He returned the braviary with a small sigh, placing the Pokeball back onto the tray lightly and going for the next one. For a moment he hesitated, knowing that Exploud was a powerful Pokemon and its intimidating look reflected how powerful it was. Taking a deep breath Finion released the Pokemon inside the Pokeball, a suprised expression forming on his face as he saw it was a Bisharp. A quick glance at the Bisharp's moveset caused him to grin slightly and immediatly call out a move. "Dash forwards, Iron head the stomach!"

Sparky glanced at the Rattata that was running away, not being bothered by it until he saw the sandwhich in its mouth. The eletric squirrel immediatly jumped to its feet and chased after the rattata, not caring about the battle currently going on.

Bisharp's Iron Head scored a direct hit on Exploud causing major damage, "Alright Exploud Flamethrower!" Exploud smiled before shooting searing hot flames at Bisharp close range, "You're good kid I'll give you that!" Noland commented as he watched the battle, prepared for Finion's next move.

Alex watched as the boy's Braviary fainted. "He should have kept moving with his speed. Kept up the pressure and he could have avoided loosing that first battle." He mumbled under his breath. As a Sky Trainer, he had a fondness for Bird Pokemon, and hated to see them lose. The entire Battle Factory was an interesting challenge. You're forced to battle with Pokemon, you've never battled with before, and it could cause problems. Alex was really hoping to get some top notch bird Pokemon. He then watched as the Pokemon were swapped out. Things would be interesting soon. He could feel it.

Finion recoiled with a shocked expression, unaware that Exploud could learn that move. He had to think quick, there was no way Bisharp could block it or dodge it but maybe he could divert it. "Low kick! Try knock him over!" Bisharp dropped down as the flames engulfed him, a glowing leg coming out the fire and hitting Exploud's legs in a sweeping motion to try make it fall over and redirect the flamethrower off itself "Thanks!" He called back across the battlefield rather quickly, wanting to keep his sole attention on the battle until it was over.

The Low Kick tripped Exploud knocking it over, sending the Flamethrower straight up, opposed to at Bisharp, "Not bad kid," Noland commented, "Exploud Hyper Voice!" Exploud inhaled before shouting so loud some of the Pokemon outside of the Battle Factory began to run away.

As soon as the Exploud was knocked over Bisharp hopped back, landing perfectly a few feet in front of Finion with its hands raised in a fighting stance. When Exploud used Hyper voice Finion had to place his hands over his ears and shout loudly so the Bisharp could hear him. "Rock polish!" The Bisharp stumbled back slightly when hit by the Hyper voice, managing to resist it slightly due to its metal typing. After the attack had finished Bisharp had doubled its speed, glaring straight at the normal type then darting forwards. "Run circles around it!" The steel type did exactly that, dashing around it and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

After the show was over Westley come out blushing with the biggest smile on his face in his hands he had a signed case containing Sensational Sisters fishing lures and a letter from them thanking him for coming to the show. "Well that was fun I guess I should go cheer them on" said Wesltey as he pulled out a pokeball releasing Beruka. "Ok, girl I need you to take me of there" pointing towards the Battle Factory Beruka simply nodded as Westley got on her back as she began to take flight heading towards her given destination.

Has he got there he returned his Dragonite the sounds of a heated battle could be heard taking place. Westley made his way into the Battle Factor he saw the Roland the Frontier Brain battling Finion. At the sidelines he saw the other trainers there watching the battle even Alex Westley made the way to the group taking a seat next to the sky trainer, "Hey guys I'm back so what all I missed?" Westley asked as he too watched the heated battle rage on.

"Exploud Focus Blast!" Noland called out, Exploud began trying to pinpoint Bisharp's location but it was moving so fast it was almost impossible to keep track of, "Exploud watch out!" Noland yelled, Exploud hadn't been concentrating on the Focus Blast that it became unstable and blew up in Exploud's hand doing major damage to it, knocking it out in the process. "Exploud is unable to battle, Bisharp wins," the referee declared, "The second win goes to the challenger!"

Finion spotted the focus blast and hardened his gaze, knowing he had to trigger his plan now. "Alright! Go for a low ki-Huh!?" He wasn't aware that if a focus blast wasn't released quickly enough it would explode, although it did explain why it was often inaccurate, since the thrower would have to throw it quickly. The blast knocked the Bisharp over, causing it to tumble away but not knock it out. With a sigh of relief Finion nodded to Noland, thinking for a moment before saying. "That wasn't exactly my plan but itt worked so i guess I'm ot complaining!"

Noland took his final Pokemon, "Let's get something good!" he said as he threw the Pokeball, releasing a Hydreigon, "Not bad!" Noland cheered, "Alright kid I'll let you have the first move," Noland said confidently as he waited for Finion to send out his last Pokemon.

Hydreigon, not good, that thing was a powerful opponent and unless Finion got something of equal power he was doomed. He took the final Pokeball from the tray and took a deep breath, waiting for a moment before releasing the Pokemon inside. A Jolteon appeared onto the battlefield, crouched down with a snarly face and ready to jump into battle. Fin on the other hand wasn't so enthusiastic, sighing slightly as he took a review of the moves. "Okay, erm ... right" He shook his head to focus more before narrowing his eyes and humming. "Use swift!" The Jolteon jumped into the air with a shout of its name, glowing stars appearing around it before flying straight towards the Hydeigon.

The Swift attack hit Hydreigon dealing lots of damage, "Hydreigon use Double Hit!" Noland ordered, Hydreigon flew straight for Jolteon, it's arms both glowing as it swung at Jolteon hoping to deal some damage to it.

"Counter with a double kick!" The Jolteon jumped towards the approaching Hydreigon, twisting its body so its glowing legs met with the Hydreigon's glowing arms. Both attacks struggled against each other before the Jolteon was knocked back, landing and skidding on the ground with mild damage taken. "Quick attack!" Finion was quick to call his move and the eletric type was quick to react, dashing towards the Hydreigon and leaping at it once again. For a moment Finion froze, realising that whilst strong and fast the Jolteon most likley had little stamina. In other words he couldn't keep this up for long and if the Hydreigon could outlast the Jolteon until it tired he was done for.

Jolteon slammed into Hydreigon, dealing some serious damage as a result, "Hydriegon are you okay?" Noland asked, Hydreigon nodded in response, "Great then use Draco Meteor!" Hydreigon's body began glowing a bright red as it stored it's energy. Hydreigon smiled before firing a large ball of energy into the air before exploding and sending smaller blasts across the field.

A worried expression came onto Finion's face as he saw the Draco meteor being produced, his mind racing as he tried to think of something, anything. There was little chance of dodging it since it was a field wide move, Jolteon definetly couldn't take the hit and there was no way to block or counter it because it was so powerful. As the the small trails of energy fell towards the field Jolteon looked back to Finion, baring its name in slight distress to try and get a command out the trainer but it didn't work. Finion froze. The Draco meteor landed, Jolteon fainted and Finion snapped back into reality, his shocked look turning into a saddened. " .... Dangit"

"Jolteon is unable to battle," the referee announced, "So with two wins, the match goes to Noland!" Noland recalled Hydreigon and put the Pokeballs back on the tray. Noland walked over to where Finion was, "You're good kid, but you need to be able to react to situations quickly, I'll be here for a rematch whenever you'd like," Noland turned to everyone else, "I'll be working on something in the back, tell the ref if you want to battle and he'll page me, and I'll be out soon enough to take your challenge!"

Westley had a shocked expression on his face as he watched the Focus Blast explode knocking out the Exploud. "Umm...I didn't see that coming" said Westley out loud. He continued to watch the battle both sides returning their pokemon, "This looks like this is going he finally I wonder what pokemon will they get." Roland releases a Hydreigon and Finion getting a Jolteon the two trainers had furious battle both sides giving it there all with the results not being to Westley's liking. "You did great out there Finion you will get next time I know it!" Shouted out to Finion.
