@Jakoboi, I am fine with more realistic setting for the pokemon that can be caught in the area. Just try to keep it reasonable with the pokemon that you choose. I do not mind Johto pokemon coming in on occasion, as Johto and Kanto are connected by a land bridge. Hoenn and Sinnoh pokemon can rarely be seen as they are closer to Kanto. This makes any other region after Sinnoh very rare, as it would be a lot farther for them to travel.

The exception to this is bird and flying types, as they migrate to a new region. Also in the ocean I do not mind a bit of freedom with them, as they could travel there easily. Baby pokemon that come from later games, are allowed to be caught out in the wild. All eeveeultions are available to be used as well.

Name: Poitoxi "Poito" Drikog Darastrix
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Age: 11

Hometown / Nationality: He was born in Summerland, Fiore. His family now lives in their ranch north of Mt. Moon. He has a very polite, gentlemanly manner of speaking, with his accent being refined and sounding upper-middle class, and often dipping into the middle class accent when joking about.

Appearance: Poito stands at five foot even, with a slim, yet muscularly streamlined build, putting him at 125 lbs. He has a very angular face, with his chin coming down to a soft point and his jawline following the angular frame of his face. His facial features are smooth, with dull green eyes and a deep purple ring around the iris. His hair is a deep purple with dull green tips, his hair long enough to go down to the bottom of his chin, but he often wears it up in a little ponytail with a black scrunchy or a rubber band.

His style of clothes are very traditional Kantonian - matching his sense of a refined appearance - often wearing a deep purple kimono with a dull green trim and darker purple flowers on the "arms" of the kimono, along with wooden sandal-like platforms with socks. When traveling, he usually wears dark grey shorts, combat boots, a deep purple shirt with dull green trim around the collar and cuffs, and he will oftentimes have a dark brown backpack - a hand-me-down from his sister, Cat. Around his neck, whether it be out or in his clothes, is a twine he made when he was 5 when he picked his types he wanted to specialize in. He has two small, metallic charms, which are Silver Powder in a dull green pouch and a Poison Barb.

In his backpack are the usual camping equipment: 20 ft of rope, cans of food that can last him a good two weeks if he rationed it out appropriately, an extra set of clothes and even a black trench coat folded neatly and then rolled into his backpack, hygiene equipment, a hairbrush, a rubber banded bunch of bobby pins for lockpicking, some enhancement items for his Pokemon, his badge cases in a hidden pocket inside the bigger pouch, and medicine. He also has a guide to the wildlife in certain areas, which is consistently wrong due to people releasing their Pokemon and new Pokemon migrating over (especially Pokemon that can fly and swim).

Skills:
- He is quite good at Capoeira, a form of fighting that combines both dancing and acrobatics, and he implements Shaolin Kung Fu into this style, albeit not perfectly. His skills in the form of dance-fighting is not perfect, and he constantly trains in this.
- He is limber and strong enough to lift and control his entire body, using that to his advantage when he's doing parkour stunts, running and hopping from tree branch to tree branch. He isn't perfect though and has had his fair share of bruises and sprained joints and broken bones. This doesn't stop him from trying.
- He specializes in training his Pokemon to be self-disciplined, smart and tactical, quick, and precise. A well aimed hit will cripple someone just as effectively as putting your all into an attack, and you'll have more energy to spend with more precise attacks than if you fought without care.
- He is extremely quiet, his footsteps in everyday life reflecting that by how quiet they are, hardly making a noise.

Personality: Poito was very secretive and hides his emotions and thoughts constantly, always on edge on who could betray him. This was - of course - what he hated himself about the most, as he enjoyed making and keeping friends. He couldn't just change though. Despite the paranoia, he tries his best to be polite and gentlemanly. He's quite loyal to his friends and family, and treats his Pokemon like family, especially since they're the only family he has when he's out by himself. He's a very justified person, stepping in when something goes down, be it civil or illegal. It seems though that wherever he went, trouble follows along after him. He considers it as his unconsciousness guiding him, unknowingly of course, to the source of the trouble, and he is more than happy to deal with it, even though he really would just like to have an eventless day to take care of himself.

Poito was very softspoken, and still is, due to a lingering trauma he has yet to fully come over when he was around 10, but he doesn't remember when it happened or the specifics, and he's usually not willing to talk about it. It was very apparent that somebody robbed him of his trust, putting someone or multiple people he cared for in danger. He could never fully trust himself again, even after he's healed, because he'll still have that little voice at the back of his head, warning him of the potential danger of putting too much trust in someone. To get away from this, he's a wise-crack, cracking jokes as often as he could, no matter if they are bad puns or dad jokes to really well-timed one-liners. It was a distraction that kept him smiling and laughing, enjoying the reactions of others, regardless of the cringe or the slightly disappointed or disgruntled comments he got. What he still had as a young child was his curiosity; His overwhelming drive to find things out. His future occupation would have been a journalist, but that profession was too underhanded and the tabloids and news articles can only do so much to stop a crime. Going in and neutralizing them from the core was better, despite the increased difficulty.

What is also disappointing to Poito is that he can't trust people, and he can't go into relationships with women easily. He thinks they have an ulterior motive. That has saved him a couple of times, which only exacerbated his alertness into paranoia. Due to this, he doesn't trust most women he encounters, and he would have to know them for a long time and test them to truly decide if he can put his heart at risk.

Due to these past experiences with women and a trying time at such a young age, he continually doubts himself and whether or not he's good at what he's doing. He can be very modest at times, not taking the credit he actually deserves and chalking it up with "I can be better". He doesn't know it yet, but he's afraid of total chaos, preferring simple times and happy play.

Basic History: At a young age, Poito was amazed with ninjas, commonly watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles and trying out their stunts with his Skorupi. This got him into trouble a few times for breaking property, but he began taking it outside with his siblings, who some saw the TMNS to be amazingly awesome. They would spar with themselves and their Pokemon, only for their father to see potential in fighting. He sent his Mienshao and Hitmontop to teach Poito about the art of Capoeira and Shaolin Kung Fu. Poito would be able to master Capoeira after a few years of training, but would find the other older martial art style difficult. Although, a side-effect of this was that he became very self-disciplined, being able to control his mind and body pretty darn well as he reached the age of 10. Farm muscles when working chores on the ranch helped tremendously. During this time, Poito would also do parkour stunts with his siblings, aiding with several injuries he received over time. Broken bones and sprained joints and pulled tendons were very common in his youthful days, but he went back to what he loved to do at the time: parkour. No one was going to lose his ability to run around and act like a ninja.

When Poito was 10, his parents had lessened their strictness on where to go, allowing him and his siblings to extend their play and adventures to the outskirts of Pewter City and Route 3. Now that they were the "responsible" age of when trainers would leave home to start their adventure, they really only cared about their safety and had their mother's Pidgeot fly over and watch over them. As Poito got closer to Pewter City, he found a girl in which he thought was adorable - long brown hair in pigtails with chocolate brown eyes and pale white skin dotted with freckles. He caught her attention and began talking up a storm with her, finding common interests and she even said his Skorupi was cute! He began boasting about his family's ranch, and how it as the largest ranch anyone has ever owned. Intrigued, she wanted to come with him to see this ranch, and he gladly led the way, not realizing that this was a horrible idea.

As he was leading her through the woods, a gang member had found the leader's sister following some random boy in the woods, who was around her age. Infuriated, the gang members, who were all around 10-12 years old, quickly followed them and interrupted their short, sweet time together, accusing him of kidnapping their sister and savagely attacked them with the several Pokemon they had. The seven of them and their Pokemon were stopped by Poito's mother's Pidgeot, who flew down to help. Knowing that there was no way to get him out of there via flying, Poito had to run away.

A few minutes of running back home later, his siblings found him upset. He cried in their arms and cursing her for ever hurting him like that and destroying the fabric of safety his parents had so cleverly crafted around their home. He knew then that no one was safe, especially when they trusted anyone. Of course, the only people he could trust was his family, but even then he had some neuroses when pit with trusting them in certain situations, especially Shade. Granted, he loved Shade, and she was the one who he had the most fun with, but her worsening mental situation that she had troubles surpassing made him feel alone. How could he even trust his own sister, let alone his family? He had to put his trust somewhere else.

This was where he went on an adventure. Starting the age of 11 and completing his homeschool in the past year from his mother, he started his journey in the region he had been living in for most of his life: Kanto.

Pokemon:
Species: Skorupi
Nickname: Skorpi
Gender: Male
Type: [type]Poison[/type][type]Bug[/type]
Ability: Battle Armor - Prevents critical hits.
Personality / Basic History: Skorpi is a very curious and playful scorpion, choosing to play and have adventures with his trainer rather than train. This is due to Skorpi being Poito's birth Pokemon and having adventures with him for most of their time together. When Poito hit 11 and had sent out on his journey, Skorpi very much didn't appreciate the change in Poito. It was a subtle change, but he was less fun, something that Skorpi had to get over. It is going to take him a few months to realize that Poito was only changing because of a thing humans go through known as puberty, and he was slowly being shown the horrors of the world, steeling his mind. Skorpi is a tanky powerhouse, coming in quick for a physical attack and taking the physical damages very well. This could be refined, and he definitely doesn't have the power of his evolution. For awhile, he held the Poison Barb, which poisoned opponents on contact with him. It's nice, but he would like something better once he's stronger.

I say good, I didn't say he was perfect. He will have good power, but his form is lacking. He was taught by a couple of Fighting-Types, and he does pick up on some things quickly, but he has been training since he was 6, so 5 years of martial arts training from a Hitmontop and Mienshao. Although, capoeira is pretty hard to get right, and he will have plenty of issues utilizing them, no matter how well he can control his body in doing flips.
