A door barged open, a teen, sixteen yours old dressed in arrays of black strutted in. His partner, Sableye walked beside him, twitching and grinning.

"Auntie Fantina, I challenge you to a gym battle!"

The opposing women, an elaborately dressed women with a wide purple dress that glittered in the light seemed surprised, before laughing, putting a gloved hand to her mouth.

"Oh my, Shen. Don't you seem a bit spunky today?"

"I will achieve my goal of taking over for you, I've told you this before so now he prepared!"

The women walked over to the trainer, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Shen my precious Shen, I deny your challenge."

The boy seemed surprised, then almost insulted. "What? Why?! Do I not seem strong enough?!"

"Your journey has yet to even begin, and I have had several many years of experience in these matters. How many Pokemon do you have?"

"One, Sableye! And he will be enough, right bud?"

The imp cackled and twitched unaturally, his fingers flexing and fluttering unpredictable as he faced the women. She looked down at him, and closed her eyes and took her hand off of his shoulder.

"I have six battle ready Pokemon, four if linked to gym rules. And they all have more training and experience than your Sableye."

"But I have beat every trainer in the town! Im strong!"

"Shen, we are a town of artists, performers, and contest seekers. This isn't a battle royal town. Except here. You simply aren't ready, not yet."

Shen looked like he wanted to make a fight of it, but realized it was pointless, his shoulders sagging as he sighed. Sableye looked up at his trainer, his usually wild run fading to a unreadable expressionless face.

"But I do have a suggestion." Fantina offered.

He looked up. "And what's that?"

"Go, go out of this town. You won't find any training against trainer's here, and the lack of wild Pokemon is crippling to your training. Take a journey, get stronger, make bonds and catch Pokemon. That's how I got my Pokemon and myself to be stronger of brawn, mind and character."

He looked to his Sableye, who nodded up and down with his currently expressionless face. The boy flashed back to Fantina with a signature snicker.

"Fine then, when I come back though, you'll find that I will be more of a match for you!"

Sableye grew back it's grin and cackled back, agreeing with his trainer. Fantina chuckled as she watched the two's pride and ambition return to their form.

"Now now, before you two leave I have a present for you."

She tapped a button on the back of a wall, a slide opening up. A box was inside. She took it out and held it up to the boy. He took the top off to the box, and he seemed grateful but amused at the same time.

"I should have figured as much."

She took out a long purple scarf that was in the box and held it up with a glimmer in her eye. "It's a wonderful scarf so you can look fabulous while you train! Oh ho ho isn't it wonderful!?"

"Auntie..." Shen said a tad embarrassed.

"Consider it a gift, it's said to grant you luck of the spirits."

Without his permission, she fitted it around his neck, and clapped her hands together.

"Beautiful!"

"Thanks auntie..."

"Your very welcome! Now go out there and become a star!"

She flailed her arms toward the door dramatically as it automatically opened. Shen walked out the big gym doors as he waved her goodbye.

In the world of Pokemon, adventures have been occurring all over. From Kanto to Johto. From Unova to Kalos. However, that is not the region our adventures will occur.
In the region of Sinnoh, Heroes of different size and caliber will meet. From trainers, to contest stars, to those who have their personal goals. This is their story. This is...

POKEMON SINNOH ADVENTURES!

Our Heroes have faced many challenges. But with strength, perseverance, and courage... They have succe-
"AHHH!!!!!" ... Okay... not all of them had courage... *Sigh*

In the town of Twinleaf, we see a young boy waa running towards a house. This is Paeon Kanestu, Sinnoh's #1 ScaredyMeowth... He, with his partner Beldum, were trying to be the bes-... Wait no... that's not right. Paeon, or PK as he preferred, was trying to become a Pokemon Caretaker, a specialist when it come to Pokemon Care. That meant making the right Pokemon food, the right training, the right hygiene... Everything. This was his goal, but it was very difficult to achieve when he got scared and tried to run home... EVERY. TIME. Even now, he was running home from being scared by a little Starly... A STARLY!! And Beldum... well... "BEL!!!!" ............ He was scared too...

In the house, there were PK's three mothers, Lithia, Strata, and Tropae. Lithia Kanestu was a veteran trainer who, with her partner Inferape, collected every gym badge in Sinnoh and achieved Pro Trainer title. Her team consisted of Inferape, Roserade, Gastrodon, Blissey, Luxray, and her shiny Mothim. Strata Kanestu was a retired Contest Star. She won multiple ribbons and has won a Wallace Cup before with her starter, Prinplup. Her team consisted of Prinplup, Pachirisu, Espeon, Rapidash, Snover, and her shiny Vespiquen. Finally, we had Tropae Kanestu, an off duty Pokemon Breeder. With her partner Torterra, she gained awards for her care and nurturing for Pokemon offsprings. Her team consisted of Torterra, Togekiss, Raichu, Quagsire, Castform, and her shiny Heracross. As these three married women were continuing their conversation... *CRASH* "AHHH!!!" "BEL!!!" A blond and metallic blur passes by them. The three sighed. The three headed upstairs to give PK the news of what they were talking about.

Lithia- "PK dear, can we talk to you?"
PK- "W-what is it mom?" Beldum- "Bel..."
Lithia- "Well... Dear..."
Strata- "We think that you need to improve your social skills and your team as well."
Tropae- "So... Umm... we packed your bag with stuff you need and..."
Lithia- "Your going on an adventure dear!"

As PK and Beldum just stared at the three women, they began to process what they said. After a good minute of silence, the concept of what their were saying clicked into their mind... Oh boy...

"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?" "BEL!?!?!?!?!?!?"

"Just be careful, sis." A soft voice from across the Pokégear said. It was Elias, Helena's older brother. He was worried, but he knew she would go on a journey one day. After all, that is why he trained her.

"I will, Elias. Don't you worry about me, you have a gym battle to worry about!" She replied. "And from what I've heard, Cheren is not someone to be taken lightly." Helena added, referring to the stories her friend Hugh told her. After this, they wished eachother luck and hung up the Pokégear.

"Ew ew!" Helena's Axew exclaimed from the other side of the room. "I know, I know. Come on, let's go." Helena said, her Axew following closely. When they got downstairs, her parents were sitting at the table, having a chat about work. Her father looked up as she entered the room, and smiled like only a proud father could. "My little girl." He said quietly, making Helena blush. "Even though this isn't the first time, I still get an odd feeling when you're going on a journey." Thomas stated. "But you'll do just fine!" He finished, before giving her a tight hug.

"Bye mom, love you." Helena said just before leaving the house. However, it's like she doesn't even care. You see, Catherine is a contest star and model, and wanted Helena to become one as well. Because of her choice not to follow in her mother's footsteps, Catherine sort of ... distantiated herself from her daughter.

When Helena closed the door behind her, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Just be careful, sis. The words echoed inside her head. A single tear streamed down her cheek. "Ew." Her Axew sighed, looking up at her. She opened her eyes and looked down at the Pokémon. "You're right buddy, we're in this together!" She said as she picked him up and put him on her shoulder. "First stop, Sandgem town!"

And so they started their journey of the Sinnoh region.

"We have arrived in Twinleaf Town, passengers are asked to disembark the Saint Irene" said a robotic female voice.

I was sailing in the Saint Irene, I do not know how my mother agreed to give me money for the trip and more for my adventure. But he had come to Sinnoh!

I got off the boat together and immediately went to Professor Rowan's lavish laboratory.

When I entered the place, I saw many scientists working with machines, and also many pokémon. At the bottom of the exit, behind a bookstore was Professor Rowan fixing a damaged machine.

"Excuse me, is this where I can get my pokémon and my pokédex?" I asked for.

"You must be Alex, they told me that you would come," he said to a capsule, with three Pokémon inside. "Okay, I guess you already know the starter pokémon of the region, pick one!"

"Okay, let's see ... I'll choose ... Turtwig!" I grabbed Turtwig's pokéball, and let the pokémon out, which was female.

"Well, not many of them choose Turtwig, they usually prefer Piplup or Chimchar, it'll do you good for the first gym" he said, giving me a pokédex and five pokéballs.

"Thank you very much, now I can begin my adventure!"

"PLEASE NO!!!!" ...*Sigh*

Outside of Twinleaf town, we see PK was trying to go back in... key word trying. You see, Lithia's Inferape, Strata's Prinplup, and Tropae's Torterra were blocking the entrance from him. "Pleaseeeeeee...." His cries were unheard.

"Fine... I'll do it... I'll go on my journey! I'll be a great Pokemon Caretaker when I get back!" "Bel Bel Dum!" As the two walked towards Sandgem town, they saw a Starly looking at them. "You want to battle? Alright! Beldum, use Take Down!" as Beldum rushed forward, the Starly is sent flying by the speeding Steel Type. The two see the bird fly away, they sweatdropped at the sight of a twinkle. "... That may have been to much..." The two walked towards the town, they saw a commotion.

"GET BACK HERE YOU DANG PEST!" As you can see, a small Pansage was running from the docks... while being chased by a man... with what looks like a bag. As the Pansage climbed up a street lamp, he pulled out a pair of aviator sunglasses and put it on. "Pansageee." The Pansage threw the bag at the man, (hitting him dead on in the face), before smoothly jumping and swinging away using Vine Whip.

PK- "Huh... don't see that everyday..." Beldum- "Bel..."
PK- "Anyways, we need to get our Pokedex before we begin... Let's go!"

PK walked into the Lab as he accidentally ran into a Black haired boy. "S-sorry... Well... Gottagobye!" ...Still couldn't hold a conversation... PK and Beldum finally reached the room with Professor Rowan.

The boy strutted out of the gym, scarf flying behind him. His Sableye walked beside him, grins plastered on both of their faces.

"Ah, Shen struts outside the soon to be conquered gym." Shen spoke loudly in third person. "Starting his quest for power!"

"Sab leye!" Sableye spoke in the same tone as 'for power'

"For honor!"

"Sab Leye!"

"For Valor!"

"Sab Leye!"

"For having no idea where to go!"

"Sab Leye!...Sabe?" Sableye looked oddly at his trainer noticing the change.

"Do you have any idea where to go?" Shen shrugged. "Cause I don't."

They were stuck in a three way pass: east, south, and west. Sableye pointed, nodding and grinning wide to the west. Shen shrugged as he started walking that direction. Going through the gate, they noticed it was a lush paradise going leading up toward Mt. Cornet. They took a few steps into the field when a man jumped them, putting his hands on Shen's shoulders.

"Wha-?! What the heck man?!

"Take it! Take it from me! I can't stand it any more!!!" The crazed man shouted.

"What are you even talking about?!?"

The man took out a odd looking stone, and shoved it into Shen's hands as he shook and looked completely terrified.

"It's in my head! I won't! Don't make me! Gahhhhhhhh!!!!"

The man ran back into the grass and behind the tree line. Shen and sableye both looked completely stunned. Sweat drops appeared on their heads as Shen talked to his partner without turning his head.

"Let's take the east path...what do you say?"

"Sabe...."

The both tip toed backwards through the gate, shifting back slowly away from the site of the strange encounter.

On their way to Sandgem town, Helena and her Axew saw different Pokémon such as Starly and Shinx playing in the high grass of route 201. They were fascinated by these Pokémon they had never seen, and even stopped along the way for a snack. While Axew was playing with other Pokémon, Helena took her town map and planned a route. "Oreburgh." She said quietly to herself, pointing at the city on the map.

The Axew returned, and they continued their trip. When they got to the town, a black haired boy just left the lab with a Turtwig, another Pokémon our pair had never seen. Curious as to what the building was, Helena and her Axew decided to enter the lab.

Once inside, they saw another boy, possibly a trainer, with a Beldum. "Well he seems... Odd." She thought to herself, avoiding conversation. When she saw him walking towards what seemed the Professor's room, she couldn't help but follow him and join the two.

Shen looked at the odd stone he had aquired from the...strange...man. It had of markings going down the front face of it like a crack. Why would the man be afraid of a tacky looking stone? Couldn't know for sure, but he figured hold on to it in case it was worth something.

They walked along the path that went east, crossing over bridges over streams and past grassy lands. It became more and more rural as they went along, even passing a mess of stone along their way. Something caught their eye on the way east. It was a large stone memorial tower. Shen whistled at the sight at the tower.

"The lost tower, what a sight. What do you say bud? Perfect place for ghost type hunting!"

Sableye nodded up and down and clapped at the idea with a huge grin. The two decided to head inside the lost tower. There were graves lining all around the borders of the walls. They had been to the lost tower before, but only at very young ages with their aunt. They felt as if something was watching them. They noticed a pair of eye watching them from behind one of the graves. A gastly came out, tounge extended and tried to suprise the two.

"I've seen better." Shen spoke to the ghost, arms crossed.

The ghost seemed offended, eyes getting angry. It spouted out different unintelligible babble words that weren't quite Pokemon tounge.

"Want to see a real scare tactic?"

It nodded up and down as if it were seating the pair. Suddenly, Sableye swung down from the ceiling and right up to the gastly's face. The gastly was taken aback and seemed terrified, the two laughed out loud that they scared the scarer. The ghastly seemed puzzled. And then the gastly looked up with puppy dog eyes at the two.

"What?" Shen blinked at the gas ghost.

It nudged the arms of Shen and gave a ghostly laught at the pair. It seems to idolize them. Shen got an idea.

"Hey, how about you come with us? You can learn how to be a real scarer."

The gastly seemed ecstatic. It bobbed up and down excitedly. Shen took out a dusk ball, his favorite pokèball.

"Alright, you asked for it!"

Shen gave a throw, hitting the gastly with the ball. The gastly went inside the ball, and the ball began to swerve left and right before it clicked.

"Welcome gastly!"

"Sableye!"

Shane would set up camp. He was just a day away from Oreburgh city. He could not wait for his gym battle with Roark! He always wanted to be the champion but to get there he needed to get 8 badges. His first was the rock badge.

While thinking about the battle, he set up his tent and got ready for bed. " Bli time for bed! " he called out to his Eevee, Bli. The little Eevee ran to his sleeping bag inside the tent. " Lets go to sleep " He said as he laid down. He fell asleep and dreamed about winning the Sinnoh League.

Well, let's get this show rolling!

As PK walked into the lab, he saw Professor Rowan. "Professor, I'm here for my Pokedex." Rowan turned around, he was shocked to see PK and Beldum asking for a Pokedex of all things. "My boy, you do realize that taking a Pokedex means that your going on an adventure. I'm not trying to sound rude, but you disliked the idea of going on one. The only thing I can think of is if your mothers forced you to go on on-" As Rowan turned to PK and Beldum, the deadpan look they gave said it all.

"Hmm, Alright. Here it is, the newest version of the Pokedex. It comes with national information of Pokemon you have seen, a map, a phone, email, id, all of the necessities. Good luck." PK turned around, he walked into a long black haired girl. PK had to look up due to being shorter. And of course, being the recluse he was. he was not used to talking to people. And of course it was worse when it was a girl. "O-o-o-ohhh I'm s-s-sorry... Um-m-m......... BYE PROFESSOR! GOTTAGOBYE!!!" "Bel? BEL! BELDUM!!!!!" As PK broke the sound barrier to Route 202, Beldum could only pray to catch up. Poor Poor Beldum...

Luke stared at the window, his eyes burned for what were to happen so soon, but happen so far away. He had gotten out of the shower and had his white undershirt and underwear on. His hair had been swept to the left. He then went to pull on his pants. They were stretchy and comfortable. He pulled on his socks and his new hiking boots. They were so comfortable. "Luke, I wanna tell you bye!" he heard his mom say. Luke sighed, he was so happy and so sad to see this day come.
Luke fell into his mom's arms. He hated to leave her. His father had left her already and he didn't want his mom to think that he had left her. The thirteen-year-old started to cry in the arms. "Luke, it's foolish to cry. Be happy. Every bird must leave the nest. I knew it was coming," his mother said.
"I love you. I'll call you every six hours on the clock," Luke replied and he left her warm love.
"Be careful!" she said as he grabbed his coat and bag,"I love you too!"

Luke walked into Professor Rowan's lab. He stepped inside. "Uncle Rowan! I am ready for my appointment," he said. Rowan walked down with the a package. "Will you take Turtwig, the grass Pokemon, Chimchar, the fire Pokemon, or Piplup, the water Pokemon?" Rowan asked.
Luke scanned the three. "I'll take Chimchar," Luke said.
"Here you go," Rowan replied, handing Luke the Pokeball.
"Chimchar, do want to come with me?" he asked.
He cried with a resounding yes. Luke smiled. "Come and get on my shoulder, you'll be more comfortable," Luke continued.
Rowan handed Luke the customized Pokedex, a badge case, a trainer card, and ten pokeballs. "Good luck," Rowan said and Luke ran out the door.

They walked out of the tower, their new Pokemon in hand. Shen smiled at his new accomplishment. A new Pokemon already, Fantina, your going down soon! But what was that she said? Trainer's that could be of experince use? Hm...that guy looks ok. Shen looked at a boy, a farmer by the looks of it. He wore overalls and a white tee shirt along with a straw hat.

"You, over there!" Shen called out to the country boy, snickering. "Wanna battle?"

"Oh, sure." The country boy spoke with a southern draw. "Are y'all ready for my partner?"

"And who would that be?"

"Show them how it's done in our neck of the woods bibarel!"

The country trainer threw a pokèball, and out from it came a beaver like Pokemon with wide buck teeth. The bibarel seemed very lazy and fed. Easy prey. Shen looked to his new pokèball and grinned, tossing it.

"Go, gastly!"

The gastly was sent out, laughing with it's tounge extended. He looked at the target, noticing the type of the opponet: water/normal. He swerved over to his trainer with hesitation to attack.

"Don't you worry gastly, the typing is a double edge sword. Trust me on this. You know confuse Ray?"

The gastly nodded.

"Good, use confuse Ray!"

The gastly produced a small odd of light, and tossed it toward the opponet, phasing right through bibarel's head. It opened it's mouth wide and kept rolling around erratically.

"Bibarel?" The country trainer called. "Bibarel, snap to it!"

"We got it!" Shen laughed. "Use payback!"

Gastly went up to the target, and struck it with a black fast moving projectile, the bibarel was still rolling about.

"This is too easy...gastly lets do a new scare tactic."

Shen walked over to gastly and whispered something in his ear, and the gastly got all excited and tounge out. It floated right up to the bibarel, and while it was still confused, used astonish right up at his face, the bibarel was shocked, and hit itself with it's fist in confusing, knocking it out. The country trainer called back bibarel and wiped his brow.

"That was a good fight, I tell you what. You got a good game."

"Heh, thanks."

Gastly went back up to his trainer, happy that the scare worked, and spoke it's inunderstable babble speech. It nudged is trainer as Shen looked down to it.

"Let's go beat more trainers!"

(I forgot that the lab was in Sandgem Town, whatever)

Alex set out to begin his adventure, so he headed to Route 201, where he did not see any interesting Pokémon, so he rushed to Sandgem Town.

Again, nothing to do other than lunch, since Alex had not eaten since boarding the ship.

After eating, he decided to make his way to Route 202. Again, nothing interesting, until he saw a pokémon he had never seen before, was a kind of biped cat, white with red stripes, and sharp black claws. Consulting his pokédex, he discovered that he was a Zangoose.

"It does not look bad for my team, go, Turtwig!"

"Turt, turtwig!"

"Turtwig, use... What attacks do you have? Hmm... okay, use Absorb!"

Green energy balls came out of Zangoose's body, and they got into Turtwig's.

"Go, Pokéball!... One... two...!"

Zangoose managed to free himself of the pokéball without problems, and attacked with its claws to Turtwig.

"Grr! Turtwig, use Tackle again and again on Zangoose!"

Turtwig began ramming Zangoose multiple times to weaken him.

"Now, pokéball! One... two!... three! I caught my first pokémon!"

The battles continued, Sableye and Gastly picking up fights and battling. They won each one, since most people had only one or two Pokemon and ranging from badly trained to moderate. They cheesed through the competition. Given that farmers and country bumpkins aren't exactly prime targets, but it would do for newly caught Pokemon such as gastly. They finished beating the last person, their team now happy they've won, but also tired. Shen looked to Sableye, who took part in the most recent battle.

"Hey bud, wanna chill out near that lake?"

He pointed to the lake that was south from the tower, and across the lump of stones that poked up in the middle of the field. The Sableye wiped some sweat off of his head with his arm and nodded. They walked toward the lake, Sableye sitting down and putting his feet in the water, kicking about carefree. Shen sent out Gastly who floated down toward the ground and rested it's sphere shaped body on the ground with closed eyes.

"You did great you two, real champs."

They looked toward the water, which was a soothing sight to the battle fighting Pokemon. Gastly and Sableye whispered jokes to one another as Shen thought of the next place to go. Suddenly, something started to vibrate under his pants. He fumbled around, and sure enough, the odd keystone was vibrating , even glowing with a odd green gleam to it.

"What the...what is this?"

He held up the keystone, and the light coming from it seem to glow along with a faintly colored stone structure a little behind them. The stone resonated with the stone structure, Shen got up and analyzed it. There was a hole missing in the stone structure, on the side. He wondered, what would happen if he just...

He wedged it inside the Hole, it fit perfectly into the socket, sake energy radiating from the stone structure, a black void erupting from the center like a Volcano, the sound of a ear shattering freight train overwhelmed his ears, his two Pokemon, surprised at the calamity hopped to attention.

(OOC: @BlueTRD I kinda said in the duscission that I would choose Chimchar as the starter, but I'll take the Piplup now so I don't interrupt the story.. Just a heads up)

BIC: Helena stared at the odd boy and his Beldum until they left, and watched Luke obtain the Chimchar from Professor Rowan. "So that means I still have Piplup, the Water-type Pokémon left." Rowan says, putting the Pokéball back in the briefcase. "I'- I'll take it." Helena quickly said before he left with it. "Oh I didn't notice you, young lady. What is your name?" the Professor asked as he took the Pokéball back. "I'm Helena. Helena Vee." She replied. "I want to go on a journey across the Sinnoh region, and my brother told me I should come here first to get a Pokédex and maybe a Pokémon." She added. "Well you are right, but unfortunately I only have this Piplup left." Rowan threw the Pokéball in the air and out came the Piplup. "What do you say buddy, will you join me?" Helena squatted down and petted the Penguin Pokémon on its head. "Piplup Pi!"

"That settles it then, I will also entrust you with this high tech device, called a Pokédex, as well as 10 Pokéballs. Safe travels!" The professor showed her the door and Helena, along with Axew and her new Piplup, commenced their journey to their first gym battle in Oreburgh City. But first; Jubilife, the busiest city in all of Sinnoh.

The projection from the pile of rocks shattered through the pile, and screeched again, the freight train sounding cry of the creature resonated along the ground and intimidated the two ghost types facing it. Several of the trainers and farmers Shen beat came to the calamity, shocked at the apperance of this new Pokemon.

"What in Tarnation?!" A female Pokemon breeder spoke.

"It's like it came out of the darkness!" The bibarel country trainer exclaimed

"Ooh I think it's a ghost type!"

The two other trainers looked over to Shen who didn't seem any bit afraid, just giddy at the sight of the powerful ghost type Pokemon. He looked at the other two trainers who were blinking at him, so he cleared his throat.

"I mean...ooh...what ever are we going to do?"

"I have an idea, come on out bibarel!"

He sent out the goofy looking beaver Pokemon, who was still Recovering from the previous fight.

"Use-"

Before he could even call out the attack, a black sphere was tossed over to the bibarel and blinding speeds, like some sort of sucker punch. The bibarel went down before the trainer could even finish his sentence.

"...return...."

"Oh the irony." Shen joked.

"This ain't no laugh'n matter!" The female trainer spoke. "Go ponyta!"

She sent out the firey steed, right near the creature. It stomped it's hooves into the ground and neighed loudly. At least it was better than putting a normal type against it.

"Use flame wheel!"

The pony grew a flaming trail behind it, a ring of flames orbiting her as she trampled over to the spiritomb, the flames seeking the ghost type out and setting it ablaze. It seems hurt, but not by much. Once she was right up to it, it released a sickening black aura on the Fire type, knocking it into the air and across the dirt path, the flames dying down.

"Let's teach them how we handle ghost types!" Shen snickered. "Gastly, your up! Payback!"

Gastly chucked a black sphere toward the spiritomb, doing damage, but like ponyta, not by much. The spiritomb released the dark aura again, easily overtaking the ghost, and it fainted instantly.

"What the...that power...!"

Spiritomb grew tired of their games, and relieve it's keystone base from the ruined tower and brought it's projected form toward the ground. It spun like a turbine, the projected form pulling spiritomb west, knocking up dirt and gravel along the way.

"Wait...west...that's toward Hearthome!"

Alex continued on his way to Jubilife City. There he used to fight with some trainers out there. It was not difficult, since most had one or two pokémon, mostly Starly, Bidoof and Shinx at very low level.

After resting in an inn of the Pokémon Center and going to a Pokémon Shop to buy potions, antidotes, among other things, prepared to go to route 203.

Alex wanted to have at least three Pokemon before facing the Oreburgh City Gym. Between Starly, Bidoof, Kricketot and Abra, no pokémon caught his attention.

At the end of the route, was the Oreburgh Gate, which had to cross to reach Oreburgh City. Alex decided to fight with everything that moved.

After winning all the trainers, he arrived at the exit of the cave. But before leaving, he found a rock in the shape of a claw, sensing that it was a fossil, he decided to take it with him to see if he could revive it in the mining museum of Oreburgh City.

After arriving in Oreburgh City, resting in the Pokémon Center and eating something, Alex decided to go to the Mining Museum of the city to see if it was a fossil, and indeed managed to get an Anorith!

After training his new pokémon, Alex arranged to fight with Roark, the gym leader of Oreburgh City.

What have I done...!
He returned gastly to his pokèball, and he and Sableye rushed after spiritomb. The spiritomb didn't slow down as it broke open the gate toward Hearthome city, breaking into the populated place. Shen and Sableye arrived at the broken gate, and watched as the spiritomb stopped at the entrance of heart home city, preparing a shadow ball to aim at one of the apartment buildings. This Pokemon...it's about to hurt...maybe even kill people! I need to stop this...!
"Sableye! Fantina II!"

The Sableye rushed into action, using a poison jab at the jaw of the projected creature, knocking the trajectory of the projectile up into the sky, exploding in the air. The spiritomb swerved it's head toward Sableye, right as it took a faint attack that Sabaleye dropped kicked on the eyes of it. It shrieked, closing its projected eyes. Shen saw a glimmer of hope here. We can beat this thing!
"Fantina VI!"

The Sableye's eyes glew orange as several stones came up from the ground and crashed down to the keystone, the Rock Tomb hitting spiritomb and piling on top of his keystone. The spiritomb struggled to break free of the rock tomb, the keystone wedges in tight. Sableye then twirled up into the air and drop kicked spiritomb again with the faint attack. Spritomb was prepared, charging up a shadow ball, Sableye did so in kind, both unleashing a powerful shadow ball on each other, the two spheres collided and exploded wildly, throwing both Pokemon back, and seeming to faint Sableye. Smoke was around the spiritomb, clearing, revealing it to be not fainted, still lightly thrashing about, tired.

"Spiritomb, given I don't like the people here, I won't let you kill them!"

Shen prepared a pokèball, and tossed it to the spirit.

(Man I hate writing on phone...)

As Beldum finally caught up with PK, the two idiots were outside Jubilife towards Canalave City. "Man... I looked like such an idiot... why can't I talk to pretty girls... and I said that out loud... *sigh*"

Beldum disliked seeing his best friend in such a state. "Bel! Dum bel bel dum!" As Beldum tried to cheer up his friend, they didn't see something jump out of the water. "SEAKING!!!" Within reaction, the two jumped away before facing their foe. "Ahhhh! Ok... calm down..." and in an instant. "All right... here we go..."

The ball hit the keystone of the Spiritomb, and the spiritomb was absorbed inside. The ball swerved left and right, the red light on the pokèball glowing. The ball then slowed, cracks forming on it, shaping the same symbol on the odd keystone, almost breaking the pokèball itself. The pokèball made a low distorted clicking sound.

Shen let out a big sigh of relief, looking around for his partner Sableye. He found him amongst the rubble of the collapsed gate.

"Sableye!"

Shen rushed to the small imp, and managed to remove him from the wreckage. Sableye coughed and lacked his usual spunk. Suddenly, a familiar purple haired women came to the wreckage with pokèball in hand.

"I'm the protector of this city- Shen! What are you doing here?!"

"I...I stopped the threat..."

"You took out the Spiritomb? Wait, what happened to Sableye?!"

Fantina knelt down to the Sableye and took out something from her pocket. She had a yellow diamond shaped tool, a revive. She placed it on Sableye's chest, as it began to absorb into his chest. Sableye shook his head, sparking up in place, coughing and sighing. Fantina looked at the new pokèball Shen had on his hip, and seemed extremely suprised.

"Where did you get that?"

"I stopped the rampaging Spiritomb in this pokèball, it made that symbol trying to escape from it."

She gulped. "Spiritomb...it, it is a terrifying example of the horrors of the Pokemon world has hidden away. Your great great grand father sealed that Spiritomb away long ago, after it murdered many civilians. From what I heard, it has no morals."

Shen looked down to his pokèball and had dread fill up in his stomach just looking at it.

"I stopped him." Shen said, getting more confidence, closing his fist. "It's my duty to keep him in check."

She smiled a worried smile, putting a gloved hand on his cheek. "You've grown up, my dearest nephew."

He smiled softly, and not mischievously, something that happened very rarely.

Let's Go!

As PK and Beldum faced towards the Seaking, they realized what's going to happen. "Alright Beldum... we're at a disadvantage... But... We can do this!" "Beldum!" "Alright... Let's Rock and Roll!" "BEL!"

Seaking - Level 33 V.S PK and Beldum - Level 18

Everybody warmed up?
It's Showtime!

"Alright Beldum! Use Take Down!" Beldum went speeding towards the Seaking before it blurred away. "That was Agility!" Before PK could call out another command, PK saw Beldum getting him from behind with... "That's Waterfall! BEDLUM! ARE YOU OK!?" "Bel..."

As Beldum floated weakly, Seaking came rushing up with another Waterfall. "Ok Beldum, dodge underneath him and use Take Down on Seaking's stomach!" When Seaking reached Beldum, he followed PK's actions to a T, which resulted in Seaking being sent in the air on an angle. "Beldum, hit him with another Take Down!"

As Beldum rushed towards Seaking, the Seaking faced the Beldum and rushes down with a glowing horn.

"Oh no, that's Megahorn!!! Beldum! Look ou-" *CRITICAL HIT* "BELDUM!!!!!"

PK was forced to watch in horror as his best friend was sent flying through a few trees. As the trees fall and leaves are sent everywhere, PK could see his partner hurt in the wreckage.

"BELDUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

.........
.........
.........
.........
.........
.........
.........
.........What? Beldum is evolving?

As a white glow formed around Beldum, PK could see his form change. His body gained more mass and size. Two metallic arms formed at his sides while four spikes appeared from his back and a one from his front. As the light disappeared, his partner gave off a powerful roar.

"METANG!!!!"

Congratulations! Your Beldum evolved into Metang! Metang learned Metal Claw and Confusion.

PK wiped the tears from his eyes. His friend became stronger, so he needed to as well. PK then turned back to the wreckage as his eyes widen. They had a counter.

"Metang! Use Confusion to lift the leaves off the ground!" "Metang!" The leaves began to float in the air with a light blue glow around them. In no time flat, over hundreds of leaves were in the air. "Alright! Send them at Seaking! Time for a special move... Use MAGICAL LEAF!"

The leaves were sent flying towards the Goldfish Pokemon, who was still in the air and had little time react. Before Seaking knew it, he was hit with a barrage of leaves at fast speeds, dealing great damage. "SEAKING!" As Seaking fell towards the ground, PK reacted by reaching in his bag.

"Alright, one shot..." As PK pulled out a Pokeball... "GO!" He threw it towards Seaking where it hit dead on. As a red light captured the Pokemon, before closing, the balls landed on the ground. As the Pokeball shaked, PK and Metang looked on guard.

...*ding* Congratulations! You caught a Seaking!

That's a wrap!

PK and Metang began to look at the ball, then at each other, then the ball, then each other. They continued to do this until they ran towards the ball. PK picked up the Pokeball, put it on his belt... and the two partners hugged. "WE DID IT!" "ME METANG!"

... Of course... it was short lived as a Gyarados popped up from the water. "GYARADOS!!" The two paled as the Gyarados began to charge up a Hydro Pump.

"Ok... What the heccccCCCCAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!" The two were sent flying away in the sky towards what looked like the entrance to Oreburgh Gate.

Shen, after the incident, had gone to heal his pokèmon up at a Pokemon center. His Pokemon had been through a rough time fighting Spiritomb, and he needed to make sure they would be ready to go. After the long hour of his pokèmon getting healed up, he received the pokèballs back from the kind nurse and was on his way. Upon leaving the Pokemon center, he released Sableye from his pokèball. Sableye erupted out of it with a fit of laughter.

"Alright alright, calm down a bit there." Shen said, getting a chuckled from it's antics. "I say we move west. A crazy guy in the bushes beats cursed towers holding powerful evil Pokemon anyday."

The Sableye nodded up and down with the wide grin plastered on his face. They walked down the road that went west, meeting the grassland that lead up to the mountain where they previously encountered the mad man in the bushes. Luckily, he seemed nowhere in sight. It was a pretty uneventful way, many rocks and stones. It wasn't until they made it inside the mountain itself where it began to fit Shen's liking.

It was dark and eeiry, but perfect for him and his team. They did enjoy being in dark shadowy places. It was too bad that Mt. Cornet had no ghost type Pokemon that they knew of, or else he would have spend more time there. Being careful to watch out for pesky Zubats, he made it to the end of the tunnel. They were met by a two way pass, a path that went south down a muddy slope toward Oreburgh city, and a path that went north, along a cycling trail toward eterna city. He looked down to his partner.

"Where do you think we should go?"

The Sableye motioned with his hands, picking up a leaf from the ground and tearing it up sadistically with his claws, laughing wildly.

"Heh, eterna city it is."

They walked over to an Inclosed building that lead to the cycling road. There was a man at the front desk with a large moustache, sporting a police uniform. Sableye and Shen walked past him, the guard holding out his baton right as they did so.

"Hey! Stop there! It's unsafe to pass through cycling road without a bike!" The guard warned.

"Oh, really? Oh I never knew that. Come on Sableye, we just have to go somewhere else."

Sableye and Shen put their hands behind their heads and walked back wards, the guard lowering his Baton in front of them. Right as he did so, they sprinted past him. He slammed his baton too late as they sped past him. He sighed.

"Ah...they don't pay me enough for this job."

Shen and Sableye laughed as they walked out of the cycling road building and onto the uphill road itself.

"I can't believe that worked! Haha!"

"Sable, eye!"

"Yeah I know right? I mean, what's the danger of bikes?"

Right as they said so, a guy on a bike sped past them at blinding speeds. They liked to each other.

"Ok...that was weird..."

Shen and his partner walked a little further, then another biker sped past them, coming centimeters away from hitting the pair. Right after that, a biker was headed right for them, as they dove out of the way in a panic.

"Sableye, Runnnnnn!!!!!"

The pair sprinted down the biking road, dodging storms of bicycles that swerved out of the way and rammed into the sides of the road. While dodging the incoming bikes, some bikes even collided with each other to try and avoid hitting them. Out of the commotion, they made it all the way uphill and away from the catastrophe, breathing heavily.

"Never...again..." Shen wheezed, quickly regaining not his posture and breath. "Welp, that was easy!"

They walked through the gate, not noticing the huge amount of people and bikers that were crashed along the way, littering the entire road with crashed people.

Then Alex entered the gym. A huge room with appreciable rocky decorations, where at the end stood Roark, a man in a mining suit.

"Welcome, trainer, to the Oreburgh gym! What do you want?"

"I want your badge!"

"Perfect ... shall we begin?" said Roark, taking out his first pokémon, a Geodude alolan.

"What kind of Geodude is that ... Electric type! ... Okay ... let's start!

// - // Alex VS Roark // - //

"Go, Turtwig! Use Absorb!"
-"Turt, turtwig!"-

From the body of Geodude came some green energy balls, which were put into the body of Turtwig.

"Geodude, use Rollout!"

"Ski it and use Absorb!"

Turtwig managed to evade the attack, and fainted the Geodude with Absorb.

"Easy!"

"I will make those words disappear from your mouth, go, Onix!"
-"Onix!"-
"Onix, use Rock Tomb!"

Onix sent six giant rocks to Turtwig, which managed to dodge three of them, but the other three managed to hit him.

"Onix, use Blind!"

Onix quickly went to Turtwig and tied him with his body. Turtwig, unable to free himself, was taking damage for every second.

"Turtwig, come back" said Alex guarding Turtwig. "Rest buddy... go, Zangoose, use Hone Claws!"
-"Zangoose!"-

Suddenly, the claws of Zangoose began to shine, and then grow and sharpen enough.

"Onix, Rock Tomb!"
-"Onix!"-

Again, Onix hit Zangoose with rocks, although he only hit three.

"Zangoose, use Revenge!"
-"Zan, zangoose!"-

Zangoose, due to the blow he received before, doubled his power and two strokes managed to weaken Onix.

"This is being very easy!"

"Alright, I have one pokémon left... Go, Cranidos!"
-"Cranidos!"-
"Use Take Down!"

Cranidos was running quickly towards Zangoose and managed to ram it hard, so strong that Zangoose could not follow Alex's orders for a while.

"Take Down, again!"

Again, Cranidos attacked Zangoose, but this time fainting him.

"Come back, Zangoose... go, Anorith!"
-"Anorith, anorith!"-
"Anorith, use Dig!"

Anorith hid in the earth, and was digging under the feet of Cranidos.

"Cranidos, use Headbutt on the floor!"
-"Cranidos!"-

Cranidos hit the ground hard with his head, causing Anorith to come out of hiding and causing him a lot of damage.

"Anorith, Dig again!"

Anorith hid on the ground again, but this time he could hit Cranidos.

"Cranidos, use Take Down!"

"Ski it, Anorith!"

Anorith was able to dodge the attack in time, but Cranidos attacked again while he had his guard down.

"Cranidos, Headbutt!"
-"Cranidos!"-

Cranidos hit Anorith again with great force, almost fainting.

"Anorith, use Metal Claw!"
-"Ano... rith!"-

Anorith's claws took on a metallic sheen, and he continued scratching Cranidos repeatedly.

"Let's finish this, Cranidos, use Take Down!"
-"Crani...dos..."-

Cranidos, with little force, fainted Anorith by ramming him hard.

"Damn... we're one vs one, I trust you, Turtwig!"
-"Turt...turtwig!"-
"Turtwig, use Absorb!"

Turtwig was able to make the attack, recovering a bit from the attacks of Onix.

"Cranidos, use Headbutt!"

"Ski it, Turtwig!"

Turtwig, even with all his strength, could not move from the site, and fell down by Cranidos.

"It looks like we're finish... huh?"
-"Cranidos?" -

"Turt... turtwig!?"

Turtwig's body began to shine, and little by little it enlarged, until it stopped shining and showed its new form.

"Has... has evolved!" exclaimed Roark.

"Oh my god, Turt! Sorry, Grotle, thanks! Now... let's finish this! Use Razor Leaf again and again!"
-"Grotle!"-

Grotle moved quickly towards Cranidos, and, sharpening the leaves of his bushes, attacked Cranidos with force until finally, fainting him.

"Great! Grotle, we did it!"
-"Grotle!"-

Roark kept his Cranidos, and approached head down to Alex, then raise his head and take out the Coal Badge, and then handed it to Alex.

"For giving your best effort, here's the Coal Bagde, proof that you've beaten me... Now, do not give up, and go to the Eterna City gym" said Roark.

"It is understood!" exclaimed Alex.

After winning the battle, decided to go to rest and eat something, preparing to leave for Eterna City, and face the next leader.

Shen and Sableye into Eterna City, taking a deep breath of the oaky air. Leaves were blowing all across the road of the city, and tall the buildings even seemed to have trees alongside them, or large grassy lawns, even the business buildings. The city really seemed one with nature, befitting a grass type gym.

"Take a whiff of that air." Shen breathed in heavily and let it out. "Fresh ain't it? ...Sableye?"

He looked over to his partner who was stomping in the leaves lining the road, scrapping some up into the air and laughing. Shen rolled his eyes and gave a smirk, walking alongside his partner toward Eterna city Gym, where they would seek to battle Gardenia. They made it to the official gym building, which they recognized from the identical look to Fantina's gym. They walked though the automatic doors, and were met with the sight of a lush garden, inside.

One could wonder how all those plants and grass were doing so well in an enclosed building with no sunlight, but the topic already bored him. It wasn't about ghost types, therefore uninteresting. They waved through the grassy terrain and going through leaps and bounds to avoid trainers along the way, making it to the pedestal where Gardenia was.

"Ah so you must be a gym challenger." Gardenia smiled. "Tell me, is this your second gym? Third?"

"First." Shen Corrected."

"Oh I see, then I should alter my team accordingly." Gardenia said, putting away one of her pokèballs. "You don't seem to be from around here."

"Yeah I'm from Hearthome city."

"Ah so you from contest town! I would go, but there's little plant life over in that big city, couldn't bring myself to down there. You know there was a gym down there too, surprised you didn't challenge it first."

"Yeah, Auntie Fantina's. She's a bit too strong for the moment."

"Oh, so YOU are her nephew! She mentioned a you a couple times. But don't expect me to go easy on you, just because your aunt is a gym leader."

"Didn't count on it." Shen grinned, holding a pokèball. "Shall we begin?"

"At once, to be sure." Gardenia said, tossing out a pokèball. "Go! Turtwig!"

Out of the pokèball came the turtle plant Pokemon, seeming ready for battle, scrapping its tiny front hooves on the ground. Shen tossed his pokèball, gastly coming out. Ha, gastly is a poison type, I'd like to see turtwig do much damage to him.

"Your a ghost type user then, just like your aunt!"

"You know it lady." Shen grinned. "Gastly, use code name 'P'."

The gastly seemed to understand, talking in babbling baby talk of sorts, with his tongue extended.

"Turtwig, use grass knot!"

The turtwig summoned grass vines from the ground, which dragged gastly to the ground. It struggled to break free but it simply couldn't break through the vines. Shen didn't seem worried as gastly was enacting the plan. Upon being attacked, gastly released a powerful payback attack, throwing the black sphere to home in on turtwig, throwing it across the arena, landing upside down. It tried to get up, but gastly broke free of it's grassy prison finally, floating up to the struggling turtwig, and using it's tounge gave a long lick at the turtwig's face. It seemed very disgusted and damaged at the same time, fainting in place.

"That was...unplanned but no less effective." Shen grinned.

"Ba, baaabababa!" Gastly said in it's broken baby talk.

"Turtwig return." Gardenia said returning turtwig. "This next one is my last Pokemon, but also my strongest, it will not be taken out so easily."

She tossed her next pokèball, the image of a slender plant type creature. It had two tosses, blue and red on both sides of it. It wore a masquerade mask along it's eyes and had a white tuff of some kind of plant on it's head.

"Meet roserade." She said with determination. "Roserade, leech seed!"

The seeds were tossed at gastly, roots sprouting from them and coiling about gastly, his energy being sapped away from him. Shen groaned at the new attack that he knew he couldn't evade while it was on. So he decided to make the best of the situation.

"Gastly, use confuse Ray!"

The gastly released the white sphere that vanished upon passing into roserade. The roserade seemed stable enough, but occasionally wobbling in place. It's eyes seeming really in focused to stay in the fight in right mental condition.

"Don't let that stop you, use magical leaf!"

The roserade pointed it's arrangement of roses on it's arm at the gastly and released a barrage of the glowing leaves, penetrating the ghost. Along with the leech seed, gastly lacked the energy to continue and plummeted to the ground.

"Gastly, return..."

That's some power gap between turtwig and roserade...have I been hustled?

"Sableye, your up!"

Sableye hopped to position, laughing at it's opponent, sharpening his claws, ready for action. The roserade pointed it's other arrangement of roses and prepared to fire again.

"Avoid it! Shadow sneak!"

Sableye vanished into his shadow, his entire form and shadow disappearing. Suddenly, out of Roserade's shadow, he leaped out and struck the roserade along the back of the head.

"Ngh! Good move, but not good enough!" Gardenia smirked. "Roserade! Use leaf storm!"

The roserade prepared to use the leaf storm, but the confusion got to it, the roserade falling over into a thorn bush next to it? Slightly hurting itself in it's confusion.

Shen grinned. "Sableye, line up your shot!"

Sableye came in close to the Roserade that was confused in the thorn bushes. His talons were in front of her, Sableye grinning at the temporarily stunted target.

"Use poison Jab!"

Sableye reared back, it's talons glowing purple. It then struck the last stunted Roserade with the poison jab, critically striking it in between her eyes. The Roserade's leaves looked unhealthy after the attack, and the roses on each of her hands looked almost wilting. Gardenia was shocked at the results of the match.

"What...taking Roserade out so easily. That was sheer luck."

"Luck or no, I still won the match." Shen beamed.

"Be that as it may, you do deserve this."

She handed the boy a green gym badge with three diamonds on it.

"You now are bestowed the Eterna city gym badge."

"Wonderful! Our first gym badge!"

Sableye grinned as he tried to high five his partner. Shen backed off, as Sableye still had his poison jab claws up, soaked in poison. Sableye looked at his talons, chuckling and retracting the poison, now doing a high five.

Shen, now sporting his newly aquired Eterna city badge, walked out of the grassy gym with a new sense of accomplishment.

"Sableye bud, this is big." He spoke. "Imagine, we already got a gym badge! If we get a few more, we should be strong enough to beat auntie Fantina!"

"Sabe!"

Spraying a super potion over the pokèball gastly was it, he and Sableye moved on west toward Eterna Forest, not exactly excited to go south on cycling road again. They walked through the entrance to the forest, the now sudden dark atmosphere in the zone was refreshing to the ghost type and ghost type lover. They wandered aimlessly in the forest, avoiding pockets of bug type Pokemon when possible, and defeating them when they couldn't. On their wandering, they noticed a odd looking building. Shen stopped in his tracks and turned to it.

"Hey Sableye, what do you make of that?"

"Sabe, le Le, sab eye!"

"Yes it could be private property, but look at all the vines and overgrowth on that thing, especially considering their front gate is rusted over and covered in vines. Looks deserted. Call it a hunch...but I think ghost types are in there."

Sableye laughed and called at the idea, nodding up and down. They got right up to the gate of the house, climbing over the rusted steel gates that were covered in flora. The hopped the gate after their climb and landed on the path to it. They made their way right up to the house, a wooden sign sticking up saying 'Old Chateau.' Shen simply shrugged it off and went inside.

The chateau seemed more like a mansion made of wood. If that was the definition of chateau he couldn't care. There was a elaborate chandelier right at the entrance and red carpet covered stairs going up on every end of the building. The light flickered for a moment in the chandelier before switching off again. Shen brushed it off as an electrical problem.

They heard steps in another room, Shen looked to Sableye and Sableye looked to Shen. Their look exchanged grew into a grin, believing their find to be a rare ghost type. The rounded the corner where the steps came from. They were met with an image of an old man, standing in the kitchen wearing a suit and a top hat. Shen blinked, now feeling ashamed.

"Uhhhh sorry." Shen sheepishly said. "We didn't know this house belonged to anyone considering the-"

Before Shen could finish his sentence, the old man walked through a wall without moving his feet, disappearing. She blinked a couple times, not quite sure what he just saw.

"Sableye, I signed on for ghost Pokemon, not ghost people."

"Sabe...."

Shen went over to the refrigerator in the kitchen, and opened it. There was nothing inside it except dust and cobwebs, obviously it had not been working for a long time. Suddenly, it kicked on, shooting ice cold air extremely fast out of it. He quickly shut the door, plucking Icy bits out of his hair. Sableye burst out laughing at his trainer, who's hair now looked like he'd been In a tornado.

Shen wiped his hair back and offered a small chuckle. "Har-de-har har Sableye. That was really weird..."

They quickly avoided that room and went into another wing of the chateau, four bedrooms before them. There were four different fans outside each of the bedrooms, Shen turned a few on as he approached the first room. He peeked his head in, nothing but a bed that was being devoured by some hungry looking burmy. He brought his head out, right as the fan he turned on began to shoot air extremely fast, throwing him back against the wall, his hair spidering out again. Sableye neglected to help, now too busy rolling on the floor in a fit of laughter, pointing to Shen. The fan turned off and shorted out, Shen peeling himself off the wall and putting his hair back for a second time.

"...Okay...that was no way that could be normal right? That fan is like a foot tall...I don't understand any of this..."

They made their way into the second bedroom, which had a shelve filled with books, a bed, and a tv, which was oddly still on. Shen was careful entering the room, quick to analyze the TV. He crossed his arms and peered in at it. He didn't break eye contact with the TV, squinting at it. Slowly, the TV began to sweat.

"Since when do televisions sweat?!" Shen exclaimed. "Get out here!"

The tv grew a wide smile before something zapped out, breaking down the door and floated in the hallway. Sableye and Shen chased after it, finding it in the hall looking right at them. The opposing Pokemon was electrical in nature, chuckling In a distorted, high pitched, ghost like manner. Sableye hopped in front of Shen, giving off some chuckles of his own. They prepared for battle, Shen putting his hands between the two.

"Wait wait wait wait." He interrupted. "I've got a better idea."

Both of the puzzled ghost type Pokemon looked over to the trainer, who snickered at the two of them.

"I say this battle..." Shen flashed his iconic snicker. "should be a prank battle!"

After winning his first badge, Alex was trained by various places such as the Ravaged Path or Floaroma Town.
After resting in an inn, he set out to go to Eterna Forest.

Alex felt like capturing a new pokémon, but he did not see any that was not bug-type, and he did not want to repeat, until he saw an interesting pokémon, it was a Murkrow, of dark and flying type.

"Go, Zangoose!"
-"Zan, zangoose!"-
"Zangoose, use Slash!"

-"Murkrow!"-

Zangoose tried to stab Murkrow, but it did not reach his height, so the wild Pokémon responded with Wing Attack.

"Zangoose, Slash again!"

This time Zangoose managed to scratch the Murkrow, damaging its wings and leaving it without the ability to fly for a while.

"Use Slash again!"

Zangoose shot the Murkrow with a slash, and then Alex threw a pokéball.

"One... two...! three!"

After the new team member, Alex reached the end of the Eterna Forest, overlooking a dismal looking mansion.

OOC: In case anyone wants Rotom, I'll leave it to you.

BIC: Alex started to fight with each trainer on the route between the forest and Eterna City. After training, he arrived at Eterna City, rested and ate something, and then put himself in front of the gym.

The Sableye and Rotom looks surprised at the trainer then looked to either opponent with their own mischievous grins. This is going to be interesting. Rotom the darted into another room like an electronic ricochet. Sableye chased after it, meanwhile Shen sent out gastly when both were out of view.

"Hey gastly, you wanted to improve your pranking skills right? Well, I had an idea...."

Sableye chased the Rotom back into the kitchen, where they had seen the ghost of the old man. Sableye looked about, opening cabinets and hurriedly closing them back. He ransacked the drawers, looking for the electric ghost. Sableye them eyes the refrigerator and grinned, unplugging it from the wall and using faint attack to knock the refrigerator on its side. Sableye laughed as he did so, but the refrigerator didn't respond. Sableye groaned, noticing that Rotom wasn't in there. He went to the trash bin, knocked it over, then another drawer, then the dishwasher. Nothing. He looked in the oven, and all of a sudden, a pillar of fire shot out at the imp. Sableye screamed as he was torched by the fire. The fire soon stopped erupting, leaving the Sableye coated in ashes and soot. That's a point for Rotom. Sableye stomped the ground and groaned in frustration, dragging his claws down his face.

The Rotom laughed and bounced out of the oven and into the main lobby. Sableye had an idea. As soon as Rotom made it into the main lobby, Sableye bounded his way, landing directly in the center of it. Sableye stuck his tongue out and waved his hands about. Rotom got mad and struck out at the Sableye, Sableye diving out of the way and toward the front door. Rotom now was where Sableye was standing, and Sableye was grinning, next to the door with his hands behind his back. He then raised one claw up and threw it down, severing a rope that held up the old fashioned chandler. Rotom was right under it, but it was too late for it to evade. As soon as it looked up, it was crushed under the falling chandler. Sableye erupted in a fit of laughter as the dazzled Rotom was completely taken off guard. 1 point for Sableye.

Rotom growled and darted off to another room, Sableye rushing afterwards. He followed the Rotom and lost him in the laundry room. Washing machines, hampers, dryers, and even yard equipment was stored here. Sableye emptied the hampers and looked about for the Rotom. Suddenly, Rotom was thrown out of one of the washing machines, gastly popping out screeching scarily. The Rotom seemed terrified by the gastly. It then realized that it had lost the prank fight, 2 for Shen's team and only 1 for Rotom. It crossed its electric streams as if it were crossing it's arms and turned its head as the two other ghost type Pokemon laughed and basked in victory.

Shen came around the corner clapping and turning toward the Rotom.

"You did well Rotom, but we simply have meld pranksters."

"Zzzzzzz!!!!" Rotom turned away.

"Hey, what's the matter? Just because we beat you in a prank battle doesn't mean you should be angry. In fact, why don't we travel together? 3 pranksters are better than 1 you know."

The Rotom looked like it waned to fight over that point, then stopped to think about what Shen had just said.

"We can also get out of this lonely chateau, and go explore the region. You want to get out of this place and travel, right?"

The Rotom looked up at the trainer and gave a smile, which turned into high pitched laughter before it forced it's way into a pokèball which Shen had. It became orange looking and immediately made a 'ding' sound. Wow...that was pretty fast...

"Heh, well Rotom, welcome to the team."

As our heroes were flying in the air... suddenly... "Oh come on... is that a Salamance?"

As if on que, the Salamance became enraged and sent a Hyper Beam at them, sending them flying again. "OH COME ONNNNNNNNNN!"

-Later-

PK and Metang began falling as they were headin- *CRASH*

"Ugh... where are we? ... a... haunted... mansion..." Welp, PK was in the fetal position as Gastly's began circling around him, Metang, and a... moving fan

In the midst of Hearthome City, stood an incredibly large Contest Hall stadium - the seats were filled with hundreds of spectators, and multiple anxious young and old Coordinators waited backstage while grooming their Pokemon and dressing as sharp as they could. In a matter of mere minutes, they would each make themselves known to the crowded audience and live televisors as they show off the abilities and designs of their Pokemon. Within this group of contestants sat a young, blonde and bright-eyed teen, Judah.

He was a 15 year old newly inducted Trainer, from Snowpoint City. His father was a businessman, handling work from all around the region, and his mother was a very skilled Pokemon Breeder - teaching and sharing all of her passion and knowledge of Pokemon with her son. This sparked a desire within Judah to show off the greatness of Pokemon and his passion for them anywhere and everywhere that he could. Alongside his Eevee, who had recently evolved into a Glaceon, he set out from his home and has been in love with Contests and travel every since. And now he sat within Hearthome, determined to win this Ribbon to add to his collection of 1. If he kept it all up, his dream of competing within the Grand Festival would soon come into reality.

Judah wore a buttoned-up white long sleeve shirt, and simple black slacks. His hair was a wind-swept style to the side, and he wore multiple golden bracelets on his right wrist; a habit he picked up from his mother, believing they were good luck charms. On the live-action TV they placed backstage, he watched as the announcer made her way to the center of the stage, and addressed the audience, giving the rundown.

"Welcome.....to the Hearthome City Contest!!! So glad you have all been able to make it! Be prepared, because we have dozens of talented Coordinators that are out here to do their best to gracefully show us all of the best attributes of their Pokemon - all for this coveted Hearthome Ribbon!" She declared. "I'm your MC, and these are your judges! Now, lets get this show on the road!" The woman finished, and began introducing each contestant as they made their way to the stage and performed.

Finally, it was Judah's turn to take the stage as his name was announced over the loud systems. Slightly shaking, the boy made his way out into the shining lights of the dome, and face the audience all around him. He gripped a Pokeball in his hand, and began whispering encouragement to himself.

"Alright! Time to shine, Skitty!" He called aloud, launching forward the capsule-encased Pokeball. It popped open, and in a flash of light the small kitten Pokemon appeared, surrounded by several floating stars - compliments from the effect stickers placed on the capsule.

The Skitty meowed enthusiastically before executing multiple flips and landing gracefully on all fours, posing for the cheering crowd.

"Lets do this!"

Shen grinned at the new arrival of the newest addition to his team. He was shocked at the sudden crash he heard in the mansion. He looked to Sableye, who had no idea what was going on either, so they decided to investigate. They met with the sight of hordes of gastly tormenting a lone figure in the center of the room, a injured metang with him.

"How did he even get in that situation?" He shook his head. "Wow...it's kinda pitiful to watch this. Rotom, do something."

The Rotom zapped out of his orange pokèball and swerved over to the gastly's. It zapped to and fro, ricocheting across the room, scaring the gastly's with the bright light and chaotic nature of it. The gastly's melded into the walls and left the room for now, Sableye going over to the kid in the center of the room, attempting to shake him.

"Hey, kid." Shen said. "You alive?"

As PK looked up at the boy, he just sighed. "You know what, I'm not ok."

PK turned to the fan. "Oh... a Rotom-Fan... want to join my team?" With in a few seconds... *click*

PK turned back to the boy. "Ok, so normally I would be running from human interaction... but I'm in a bad mood... My name is Paeon Kanestu. This is my partner Metang. And as to why I'm here... I was in a battle against a Seaking, was hit by Gyarados' Hydro Pump after the battle, sent flying into the air, THEN was hit by a Salamance's Hyper Beam. I fell into this building in which I have no idea where I am..."

As PK regained his breath, he turned to the boy. "Who are you?"

"...your one weird kid." He blinked. "Do you even train? Or do you just run from everything you try to do? That kind defeats the purpose of a TRAINER don't you think?"

The Rotom returned to it's pokèball and colored it orange while doing so. Sableye laughed at Shen's sarcastic response to the kid in front of them

(Oh boy)

PK was mad at the boy. "Really? You think I don't train? Listen... I'm trying to keep my calm from a bad day... but I'm going to say something... I. NEVER. WANTED. TO. GO. ON. A. JOURNEY!"

PK began stepping towards the boy. "I know I can never be the best. I'm not a trainer, I'm not a contest star... I want to be a caretaker. Someone to heal and help properly raise Pokemon. But no... No one cares about that. It's gyms or contests or breeding. So... just know this. I'M NOT A TRAINER!"

"Shhhhh....shut up." Shen said putting his finger on his lips. "Without drive, there's is no adventure. You obviously lack the drive to do anything. If you don't want to be a trainer or do anything, what's the point in trying to go on a journey of you yourself are against you? Heck, how are you expecting metang to beleive in you if you can't beleive in yourself."

Shen pinched the bridge of his nose and looked back up at the boy. Before giving a sharp look at the boy, giving him cold hard facts

"Go home. If you don't have any drive, then you can't hope to achieve anything."

(Oh boy...)

"You think I don't have drive? Well listen closely... It's the fact that I want to be a Pokemon Caretaker is my drive! I've spent my whole life being compared to my mothers. A veteran trainer, a retired expert contest star, a famous breeder... the son everyone say as pointless..."

He looked at the boy with tears streaming. "They retired to raise a son... a son who was seen as a complete waste... So that's why Metang believes in me. BECAUSE I'M THE BEST I CAN EVER DAY!!! TO PROVE THAT I'M A FAILURE... THAT I'M SOMEONE WHO CAN STAND BESIDE MY MOTHERS! ... To prove my mothers made the right choice..."

As PK finished, he gave one last look. "So tell me... do I have drive or no?"

"..." Shen looked up and down the boy. "Looks like your not completely spineless. Do you really think you can overcome every, and I mean EVERY obstacle? I want you to say it."

Shen crossed his arms as he looked the boy directly in the eyes, awaiting his answer.

(Yeah!)

As PK heard this, in his head, the doubts began to appear. Can I really do this? I can't... No...

"My whole life I've been doubting myself... no more... I will succeed in my dream! Even if I have to fight Arceus himself, I will achieve my dream!" PK looked the boy in the eyes.

"So yes. I WILL face every obstacle!"

Shen liked over the boy, who had gained some sense of bravery. Even if it were small. Shen smirked to the boy. Sableye grinning alongside his partner.

"Then in that case, you might, just MIGHT do something." Shen beamed, whiling away the tears left on the boy's face with his scarf. "What's your name anyway?"
