Ask to Join Pokemon Reburst: Prison Break

Mari kept going with her ominous wind attack, launching sparkling, purplish gale, after sparkling purplish gale at the attacking guards. Where possible, she took the opportunity to float further towards the death house, until she was hounded by more prison staff, launching attacks which were enough to put their pokemon out of action, but not enough to do serious damage to them.

It seemed crazy for Mari to launch such weak attacks at them, considering what they wanted to do to her, and the escaping four, but then again, she didn't want to hurt them too badly. All that she wanted was to get those state-sanctioned murderers out of the way, so that she could escape with her friends, and this stranger. Murderers, those were what those prison staff members were. Murders in fancy suits and patent shoes. Murderers who claimed that they were doing Arceus' work; killing killers to show the people of Unova that killing is wrong.

The damnable cries of the houndoom finally silenced, and the guard it belonged to hurried to tend to her wounded partner, as more staff poured in, each of them with a houndoom of their own. Hell hound pokemon seemed terribly fitting, in a place for the condemned.

Finally spotting a clear path around the death house, Mari cried, "This way!", refusing to look at the sight through the small building's window. One of the men had been executed there this morning, and his body was still there on the table, limp and still and white...

Drad didnt join in the fighting. She stayed back for 2 reasons. First she isnt the one to fivht anyway and secound lala would dare to see anyone hurt, but with a few exceptions.

Drad looked over to mari when she called. Drad was still by the confined room as the fighted whent to the others. She looked at the many guard between her and the death house. Lalas run away ability wasnt much good in this case. With so many guards, she would need all of them fighting her for her ability to actually work.

Drad sighed as she made her way through the guards and pokemon. In her form, she was very agile as she spun her way around the trainers and pokemon. At some moment, she used nuzzle and had some trainer and pokemon paralyzed. Drad stopped for a minute as she reached the floating trainer. She nodded to her before starting on the way to behind the death house.

The drifloon burst surveyed the path ahead. It was unguarded, thanks to the assault that had been launched. Most of the guards who had been deployed to control the situation were either incapacitated now, or tending to their fallen partners.

This was perfect.

Eager to make use of the time they had bought, Mari motioned to Drad and floated past the death house, warning her companions of the grisly sight she had been treated to, when she dared peek in through the window. It terrified her to think that one week from now, they would've ended up just like that man lying dead on the table, with not even his family there to mourn his death.

"Look straight ahead," she ordered, fearful of how her comrades would react if they saw what she had, "Under no circumstances is anyone to look at the death house. Just pass it, and pretend that it's not there."

Pulling in energy from the shadows and pain around him, Kyle soon stood with a ball the size of a large yoga ball in front of him. Finally, he pushed off, recoiling himself back and Into another Houndoom, which he promptly flipped off of before using Thunderbolt of the still moving ball. The electricity sparked through the ball before it hit its mark, promptly growing before firing the charged energy in all directions. The guards fell back, with the Pokemon resisting.

Kyle learnt quite a few combos and moves while training after he heard about the arrests. Of course the masses would come to him; it was logic. He was living peacefully in a house near Celestial Tower; what happened afterwards was a piece of lost history for him.

A command focused himself back to fighting. A Houndoom had lept at him with a Pursuit attack, claws glowing. Those claws barely found their mark in Kyle's arm, blood suddenly flowing. Up close was where Kyle wanted them, though; a Volt Switch attack charged up in his arm, before shooting it into the skull of his opposition. The recoil of his attack sent him flying back to the other two inmates that were running away.

Amidst the chaos, Mari began to look for a faster way away from the battle with the guards, having become tired of the battle all too quickly. Though, come to think of it, that could be the point. Rather than beating them into submission, and risking even more hounding from the human rights groups who protested the punishments carried out in this prison, the guards could have the simple intention of tiring them out, before dragging them back to their cells. And then later, to the death house.

She floated swiftly out of the way of the rotom burst, cursing him for interrupting her train of thought.

She surveyed the area. The visitors' area was no longer an option; there were too many guards waiting to catch them there. Going back past the death house was suicide, too, as more guards had just arrived, some to take one of the women into the death chamber, others to quell the situation at hand...

And then, Mari noticed the fence a little way away. The wind was just strong enough that she'd be able to get herself over it, with minimal effort... And it was in the right direction, too, which was always a bonus.

The bottom of her skirt swelled, and her body began to rise higher into the air.

"You can either hold onto me, or, I can psychic you over the fence. Which one's it gonna be?" she asked her comrades.
