@Captain Cardboard Hey, question. What would happen if a trainer was injured during the tournament? Not anything severe like a sprain or a bone break, but something like a punch to the face?

Well, if they got punched in the face, then the person the trainer that punched them would get disqualified XD. Even if it was something like a sprain, nothing would really happen from the ref's side. They're only going to intervine if there's a serious medical injury or emergency. Otherwise, if the hurt trainer wants to keep trucking on, they can keep trucking on!

Also @DoggoKing22 since this is more based on the anime than the games, there aren't levels. But yeah, I suppose that a Pokemon could be 'leveled up' into evolving during the tournament, but it would be an extremely rare occurance and probably only happen to 1 Pokemon during the tournament. But using things such as evolutionary stones to evolve Pokemon is definitely a thing, and there are at least 2 working trading machines on the island.

Name: Rohan Zekenos
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: His height is around 6’ 3” combined with a fit body. He has long dirty blond hair in a mullet-like hairstyle, and brown eyes. He also has a fair skin tone.
Clothing: He wears a red beanie, a grey sweatshirt with a purple tank top under it, ripped dark green jeans, and black sneakers. He also wears a necklace with a small wooden tree connected to it, with the engraving: “JC” The first letter of his parents’ names
Personality: (optional) He’s not that much of a talker, and is almost always serious. But when it comes to meeting new people and Pokémon who are nice to him, he’s actually a really sweet guy, and really apologetic when he does something wrong. He sometimes gets very emotional whenever he thinks about his parents. (Side note: Rohan loves naming his Pokémon after irl bands, songs, and JJBA characters)
Hometown:Azalea Town, Johto
History: As a kid, Rohan had pretty peaceful and quiet life in Azalea town. He was born into a family of master carpenters as an only child, but he did have a pretty close relationship with an Aipom that his grandfather gave to him before he passed away. When he turned 13, he decided to go out and adventure the world with Aipom. And boy, was that one awesome decision he made. Besides knowing how to make stuff, he was awesome at memorizing type advantages/disadvantages and moves, which led him to triumph over the gym leaders from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova.
When he was almost done completing the gyms in Kalos, around a month and a half ago, Rohan got a call from a family friend, stating that his parents have gone missing out of nowhere. He didn’t know how or why it happened, but one things for sure: he had the sudden urge to murder whoever made them go missing. This is what made him go from a happy-go-lucky person all the time, to a silent and menacing person. Since then, he’s been training. Honing his battling skills so he can be strong enough to beat anyone he passes by. While Rohan was on the search to find his missing parents, he managed to walk by an ad for a Pokémon Battle Royale that was being held. He thought that was a good opportunity to test his mind in battling, so he decided to go there.
Pokemon Team (not for Royale use): It varies. Every time he goes to a new region, he only brings his ace Ambipom, Gorillaz, with him, and catches Pokémon exclusive to said region.
Other: The Pokémon he gets randomly in the battle royale is a Cacturne with the Water Absorb ability that was trained to specialize in fighting with physical attacks. But the downside of it is that the Cacturne is a bit of a scaredy-cat, despite literally being called “The Scarecrow Pokémon”

Uh, well, you could have Acacia explore parts of the island, find Pokestops, run into opponents, maybe make alliances with other PCs, ya, the possibilities are endless!
