Nuotykiu Sinnoh

Ace noticed a few people looking after Nacadia gave the warning. He nodded and walked a bit faster, catching up with her. Ace also returned Piplup to his PokeBall, and removed his beanie from his head, stashing it in his gym sack.

He knew they did nothing wrong, but with what he had heard from Aris, the grunts have no doubt already gone around and explained what they had looked like, if he didn't show them the video.

Ace had no idea what he would do if they were accused. If he didn't die from panic attack, his parents would no doubt unreasonably take away any privileges that he has.

Marleigh followed at a leisure-like place, not really understanding why anyone wouldn't believe her new companions, but eventually jogged up next to them as they were moving ahead of her to quickly. Pachirisu sat on her shoulder, chewing on her hair, while Shinx rested in a blue Pokeball with yellow stripes coming from the center, a Quick Ball, but marked with an S for Shinx. Pachirisu has a Quick Ball as well, except with a P marked on it for Pachirisu. "I suggest keeping them in the corner of your eyes and run if they point." Marleigh quietly said, looking around until she kept her gaze ahead.

Through the seriousness of trying to mask their appearances from any bystanders who might get the wrong idea, Ace laughed at Marleigh's advice.

"Sounds good." He jokingly replies, but he seriously considered it.

They approached the cafe, and Ace stepped in ahead of Nacadia and Marleigh. He had been there so ma y times that the welcoming hostess were somewhat friends with him.

Behind a decorated white wooden podium stood a slender women with raven black hair that reached and folded in at the bottom of her ears. She wore a long sleeved green top, that matched her friendly emerald eyes.

"Hello Ms. Laurie." He smiled. She always seemed to have a friendly energy radiating from her.

She greeted the three, and told them that they were able to sit anywhere they'd like.

Nacadia looked around the diner with a scowl, immediately suspicious of everyone there. The diner wasn't very busy, but it was bound to attract more people very soon. "How about there?" She asked, gesturing towards a table near the back of the diner. She strode towards it without waiting for an answer.

The table was isolated from most of the other people in the diner and far from the windows, so they weren't likely to be spotted. The Galactic grunts had made it pretty clear that they were going to frame her and Ace for the distraction of the school, and they'd probably come up with a nice story for Marleigh once they found out she was involved. Nacadia scanned the diner for anything out of place.

A man in the corner farthest away from her caught her eye. His back was turned, but he had a blue bowl cut hairdo that made Nacadia take a sharp breath. "Keep an eye on the weirdo in the corner. I don't like his hair," she whispered to Ace and Marleigh. Hearing it out loud, she realized how strange it sounded, but she did say anything more and just hoped the saw who she was talking about.

"Who... oh..." Marleigh glanced at the blue bowl shaped haircut that she once imagined donning herself when she thought Team Galactic was good and quickly looked away. She took the seat that was positioned to be able to easily see the front door so she could easily warn the others if another Galactic-looking person came in.

She pulled out her gaming system before quickly putting it back, the shock from before finally catching up to her as the cozy cafe lulled her to a light sleep, hey body leaning lazily over the chair.

"There goes Sleeping Beauty again," Nacadia murmured. She tried to sound annoyed, but was actually a bit relieved that her Pokemon's attacks weren't to weak to wake someone up. Marleigh just had a talent for sleeping.

Nacadia tried to stay vigilant, but the cafe had a calm and uneventful air that made her bored. She tried making a card tower out of the packets of sweetener on the table. It fell down without getting very high, so Nacadia lazily picked up a sugar packet and began gnawing on it.

Ace tried to glance over at the strange haired man every once in a while. He wasn't very familiar, and didn't seem too threatening, but you never know.

"Oh, yeah she must be pretty tired." Ace said in response to Merleigh once again drifting to sleep.

He pulled out the berries that Marleigh had given him back at the school, and began nawing on one. Ace also released Piplup from his PokeBall and fed him a berry. After scoffing it down, the water-type hopped onto the couch side of their table and nuzzled up to an unconscious Marleigh, drifting off to sleep himself.

Ace focused back on the map with Nacadia.

"So, are we heading to Floramora town first, to take out their first base? If so, what will out plan be?" He asked. He tried thinking of any kind of ways to help clear their names and stop Team Galactic.

Marleigh mumbled something in her sleep before snuggling into the Piplup and sighing contently. The chair was comfortable and she was snuggling into a plush (or what she thought was a plush) and fell in a slightly deeper sleep.

Nacadia nodded. "The base in Floraroma isn't one of their strongest, so if we're going to attack we'd best start there." Her sugar packet had lists it's taste, so she picked up a different packet and began gnawing on it.

"We can easily get to the base if we just go north on 204, but-" she spat out the packet like it was poison and took a long drink of water. "Ick," she murmured, "artificial sweeteners are the worst. Anyways, the only thing I'm worried about is us not being strong enough to attack the base. I think our best bet would be to try to sneak in unnoticed and sabotage them as much as possible."

Nacadia hated thinking of herself as weak, but she was trying to be realistic. They had been beaten pretty easily by just a few grunts, and she hated to think what a whole base full would do to them. And now we've got Sleeping Beauty to worry about, Nacadia thought glumly. She had at first thought Marleigh's Pokemon would be an advantage, but they wouldn't help at all if Marleigh couldn't stay awake five minutes at a time.

Marleigh snorted in her sleep, waking up shortly after, stretching and yawning, before blinking and looking at the two people around her.

"Did I miss anything?" Marleigh asked, gently petting Piplup's head when she noticed it asleep by her.

Ace nodded. He knew they werent strong enough to attack head on, but as Nacadia state it out loud, his eyes traced to one of the pokeballs that rested on his belt, hidden under his shirt.

Yes, they were beaten with Staryu and Piplup, but Ace had one more Pokemon...one that raged for so long, one that would attempt to destroy anything that looked too still - one that he was actually quite terrified of himself, due to his lack of ability to control it.

Ace put it aside.

"Yeah, sneaking in would be our best option. I think we should head to the center of their base, the heart of the building, and say that that should be when we officially strike, and take out any final guards or head commanders." He placed his finger on the map on Floramarora Town, acting as he's reading blueprints.

"Just the whole plan," Nacadia muttered sarcasticly. There was a small part of her that realized that she wasn't mad at Marleigh, just using her as a scapegoat for the anger that had been steadily rising since Galactic attacked the trainer school. But the same part of her knew it was better to get rid of her anger in snappy comments than to let it build up and snap all at once. Then again, most of her didn't give a crap.

Nacadia tried not to focus on her anger as she processed Ace's plans. "That sounds good," she agreed. "Duskull can transfer its invisibility and phasing abilities to anyone touching it," she added, last night in the ally with Ace coming to mind. (insert italics here, stupid phone)Wow, was that really just last night? Nacadia thought. It seemed like forever ago, and so much has happened since then.

"It'll be best if we can take down the Commanders and grunts without actually battling them," Nacadia said. Being away from people for so long, she had forgotten how easily her mind wandered. "They definitely have more power than we do, but we might just be able to outsmart them." She wracked her brain for ways to quickly immobilize Galactic members.

"Do any of you have Pokemon with status condition inflicting moves?" Nacadia asked. She doubted poisoning or burning would help them, but confusion or paralysis or- "Sleep!" Nacadia cried. "Marleigh, you seem to know an awful lot about sleep. Have any Pokemon that can inflict it?" Nacadia crossed her fingers that at least one of her companions' Pokemon could inflict sleep, because if so, Duskull had a move that would certainly keep them that way for awhile.

"Lets see..." Marleigh ignored the comment about sleep entirely, focusing on her pokemon's moves. "Pachirisu has Attract, Thunder Wave, and Sweet Kiss, so for Pachirisu its infatuation, paralysis, and confusion... Shinx has Swagger and Thunder Wave, so confusion and paralysis... And Voltorb has paralysis and confusion as well, so no sleeping here. But then again, I'm electric solo and Electric Types aren't known for their wide array of status moves, try asking a grass type, but, can't Duskull use disable? Why not focus on that and paralysis, because confusion will still let them blather, and infatuation will make them ga-ga for Pachirisu, though we may get them to talk if they are in love enough..." Marleigh pondered on what to do, trying to recall if infatuation was the same for humans as pokemon.

Ace balled his fist. None of his pokemon knew any helpful moves. Yes, Staryu knew Psybeam and if they were lucky it would cause confusion, but that wasn't useful much to their plan.

Ace slowly shook his head. He couldn't stand being so helpless. His forte was quick offense, but maybe his....raging, never obedient, Gyrados could help them if they ever needed a power house.

Ace doubted it, so he just continued listening to the plan and nodding in response to Marleighs answer, thankful that at least she could help.

"Paralysis will be helpful," Nacadia agreed. "I'm not sure if Attract works on humans, but it could be useful in disabling any Pokemon we encounter." Nacadia frowned. "Speaking of Disable, my Duskull doesn't know it. But it has learned Blizzard, which could be a useful distraction if we are spotted." Nacadia smiled a bit. Marleigh was an okay strategist when she wasn't snoozing.

Nacadia noticed that Ace seemed agitated. "Are you okay?" She asked. He had been unusually quiet.

Ace's eyes shot to Nacadia noticed his little fit.

"O-oh, I'm fine. Staryu only knows Psybeam, which could maybe cause confusion if we are lucky, sorry about that..." He admitted

"That's okay," said Nacadia, though she was a little disappointed. She didn't have any status inflicting moves, so she had hoped Ace and Marleigh would be able to compensate for that. "You probably have the strongest Pokemon out of all of us, so if we have to Attack, we'll definitely need you." She was trying to make him feel better, but also meant what she said. Ace would have easily beaten her in that battle simulator if his Pokemon had been fully healed, though she wasn't sure what Marleigh's skill level yet.

"We can sneak in invisible if we can all manage to keep a hand on Duskull," Nacadia explained, snapping back into strategy mode. "If Marleigh can get her Pokemon to paralyze anyone we pass without being spotted, we should be able to get whatever information they're hiding in Floraroma." Nacadia bit her lip, nervous about the multitude of 'if'sin her plan. She turned to Marleigh and Ace, silently pleading that they had suggestions that would make the plan rely less on 'if's.

"I don't think this is a good suggestion, but if one of us were to stay outside and be a distraction, maybe a lot of grunts will leave the base to focus on the threat, leaving less grunts to have to paralyze." Marleigh, while she was the one who suggested it, didn't like her idea at all. 'But... It can't hurt to try, right? Oh, I hope they disagree..." Marleigh inwardly fretted, though she did her best to remain calm on the outside.

Ace slightly smiled at Nacadias words, seemingly to succeed in cheering him up. He then took notice to Marleigh's suggestion. He raised an eyebrow.

"Ya know, that really doesn't sound all that bad..." He answered. "But which of us could do it? There are many possibilities."

He couldn't think who would be best for it. Ace could cause a distraction by just having Gyrados throw a tantrum and destroy some things, but he would most likely be caught and out numbered.

Marleigh could do what she did best, and probably just fall asleep in a random or important area, causing attention as she acted like a Snorlax who refused to move, but she could be taken away or arrested.

And Nacadia could do the disappearing thing with Duskull that gave Ace chills. She could act as a ghost and come up with some haunting story about when she was human, and tell the grunts that she would terrorize them for ever ever - etc.

"That's a great idea!" Nacadia beamed, oblivious to Marleigh's discomfort. "If they're all occupied with the diversion outside, it'll be much easier for is to sneak in and find out what Galactic's really up to." Nacadia's minded raced through possibilities when Ace asked who would do it.

She would rather have Ace go in with her, since she wasn't entirely sure she trusted Marleigh yet, but they would need Marley's Pokemon to paralyze any grunts they encountered. Nacadia thought that she and her ghost Pokemon would be the best distraction, but they would need her and Duskull to be invisible as they sneaked into the base. "Ace, do you think you could cause the distraction?" Nacadia asked nervously. "I know there's a river near the Windworks you might be able to use to your advantage."

Ace rose an eyebrow.

"I-I think I can." He said, feeling down at the PokeBalls on his belt. A faint smile then lured on to his face.

"I...I have a plan." He knew what he would do was completely different than what he would usually do, due to him being on the shyer side.

But hey, gotta have fun sometimes. He thought to himself, grinning.

Nacadia smiled, happy that Ace was willing to cause the diversion. Her expression darkened when she saw the man with the oddly Galactic-like hair, at least two tables closer now. "Nobody turn around," she said in a hushed, urgent voice. "The weirdo with th bowl cut is getting closer. If we split up now and meet at Route 204, we might confuse them enough to get away."

You're overreacting, she scolded herself. What makes you think they're even after you? Nacadia shook the thought off. She had been paranoid ever since she left Snowpoint. Still, they were headed towards Floraroma anyway, and you could never be too careful, so she didn't take her plan back. She turned to her companions, silently pleading that they didn't turn around and draw attention to themselves.

Ace nodded, slightly realizing the same. What was this guy doing?

Most likely one of the Grunts trying to spy. He clenched his fist in annoyance, before standing up, bowing to the two making it look like he was leaving.

Ace sidestepped from the table, and went around, passing waitresses and other customers sitting and chatting. Piplup had awaken, and followed behind Ace. He push the cafe doors open and leaving. His head turned right and left as he searched for any others that may be with galactic, but when the coast was clear, Ace headed out to the direction of the meeting place.

Route 204 Ace reminded himself.

Nacadia waited until Ace had left the building, grabbed a handful of sugar packets, and slowly got up and left through the back door. She knew the back streets and alleys of Jubilife as well as anyone, and was already plotting dozens of ways of misleading Galactic. She was so wrapped up in paranoia and plans that she didn't seem to realize that Marleigh had yet to respond.

She was to the other side of town before she even began to wonder about the others finding their way to 204. And then suddenly it was all she could think about. What if they got lost? What if they got caught? What if she got caught? Nacadia tried desperately to shake the thoughts off, but by then it was too late. She hurried towards 204, glancing franticly every which way.

Nacadia made it to route 204 with little difficulty. But she soon began to panic when she saw that neither of her acquaintances had arrived yet. They've been captured, they've been captured, I know they've been captured. The thought kept repeating in her mind until an even more unsettling one replaced them. What if they ditched me? Nacadia honestly couldn't care less if Marleigh left, the electric type trainer really got under her skin, but she felt weirdly responsible for Ace in a way. Almost like it was her fault he got into all this, though it was as much his fault as hers. She tried to shake her worries off. She'd gotten here quickly was all. If she just waited a few minutes, Marleigh and Ace would
