Meloetta In-Store Event Revealed For US

The musical Pokémon Meloetta may have been overlooked for quite some time now, but finally an event has been revealed so that US fans can get their hands on the rare Pokémon. The event is an in-store event to be held in Gamestop stores from the 4th of March until the 24th, and will work with all fifth generation games.

While details about the Meloetta given in the event are yet to be revealed, if the Pokémon matches the one given out in Japan then it will look like this:

  • Name: Meloetta
  • Nature: Random
  • Level: 15
  • Ability: Serene Grace
  • Held Item: PP Max
  • Moves: Confusion, Quick Attack, Round
No details have been given for an event for Europe, but fingers crossed we'll get a chance to get Meloetta not long after the US event.

Sweetness. They certainly made us wait long enough for the thing! I'd originally assumed that when they finally got around to distributing Meloetta it'd be for Black 2 & White 2 only, so I'm quite happy to hear that we'll be able to obtain it on all four Gen V games. ^^
