Open Just my Version of a Romantic Superpower High School (Discussion)

I keep losing track of everyone's powers...
Can we have them edited into the first post?
And what are Ani and leos powers again?

Sorry was in a movie

Ani

Actual "Powers"

Superhuman/Supernatural Physical Prowess and Senses – Despite her medium sized height and small-ish frame, Ani possesses immeasurable strength, speed, durability, reflexes, endurance, and senses. Able to handle herself exceptionally well in combat and battles.

Regeneration – Ani is able to regenerate from any wound or injury regardless of severity, including lost limbs nearly instantly. Regenerating organs takes a bit longer depending on the complexity of the organ lost.

Replication – Ani is able to make replicas of herself to attack her enemies or act as distractions, physically they are exact perfect copies and possess all of her abilities but are much less powerful. Instead they rely on their vast numbers.

Other Abilities gained through training, experience, or some other means

Strategic Mastermind - Ani appears to be happy and has a care-free-go-lucky demeanor almost all of the time, but beneath the surface, she is a master strategist, using her outer appearance as a guise to throw people off. More often than not she does everything with a purpose and to advance things to her ultimate goal, whatever it may be at the time. In combat she is difficult to predict as she probably already has outplayed her opponent and is several steps ahead.

Weapons Master - As a high ranking member of Nemesis Core, and a top ranking agent of Black Eden, Ani was trained to handle every weapon known and discovered by Nemesis Core at a high master level. This was accomplished by putting Ani through brutal mental and physical conditioning, simulations, and stress testing. When there was nothing else for her to learn, Ani decided to take up using seemingly random items and objects as weapons and applying her weapon knowledge to them resulting is some of the most unique and odd combat styles ever seen. One of these resulting being something she favors above almost all other weapons, a parasol or umbrella.

Black Eden Tech. Specialist - Black Eden members are required to understand their weapon of choice, if they have one, inside and out, make modifications, and re-create it if given the materials. Ani in this case has made several weapons, none of which is made from materials that originate from earth, and some not even from our dimension of existence. Her favored parasol weapon/accessory is an example of such a weapon.

The overall structure is made from an indestructible material of unknown creation Ani developed herself, the umbrella is able to block and nullify any kind of power, created from a substance from another dimension, It still retains some resemblance to typical umbrella cloth material but a bit more stiff. The ribs of the umbrella are on the outside are lined with micro-blades so that when the parasol is closed, the weapon turns into quite an effective sword.

The tip is sharpened to a fine point to make an effective stabbing weapon, but is not completely closed off. The central shaft acts as a barrel for a high-velocity energy-based projectile weapon, though it still utilizes a version of a bullet system that the parasol produces on its own. The power of these energy based-projectiles are also varied, controlled by Ani on the grip of the parasol. The projectiles themselves appear as bright ovoid violet bolts, that give off extreme heat. The Parasol is able to fire off 6 shots before it has to release the shells and be fired again, Ani is never actually seen loading anything into the parasol, due to this fact, it is believed that the energy weapon does not require actual shells, but the shells are a byproduct from firing the weapon. The shells release mechanism is always signaled by the panels of the parasol separating apart by a few inches when it's closed, it is unable to eject the shells if the parasol is open. The parasol panels may also separate apart for different reasons, one of many being before she fires an exceptionally powerful shot.

Secondary support systems of the parasol include, a transparency interface when viewed from within lets Ani see though it when she's hiding behind it, a radar interface and advanced targeting system based on her relative facing position along with it, a user-lock interface allowing only Ani to be able to use any of its functions outside of being just a regular parasol, and a retrieval drive that will recall the parasol to her if she were ever to lose it. It is also one of her key accessories to finishing her outfit, along with her purse, but the purse is a whole another beast that I'll mention later. And she does not currently have it on her body.

All these things mixed together gives you one super deadly high-ranked Black Eden agent.

I'm not too sure how combat is done in this RP or the forums so I'm prob basically just going to put what will happen in italics and <>, then you guys can decide if it hits or not, and if it hits, maybe just auto whatever character is getting hit for the duration of the hit/effect, if that's fine with you guys, i just don't know the system too well since every RP does things a bit different, I just find this the simplest way.

@EmoKitty21 yes that sounds great auctually, we can talk more about it as it becomes more relevant.

Key to RP combat without forcing auto hits is to describe what your character is going to do as an action without saying it happened yet. To give the opponent a chance to respond. For example...

Dennis took a deep breath as he advanced on Susie. He drew his leg up in an effort to build momentum as his aim would be to try and deliver a swift running kick right to her abdomen.

How does the parsol cancel powers?
Pretty much anything that touches its surface it will make it null. It's primarily used as a shielding tool for projectiles, but can work just as well against melee given it can't break.

If Ani were to smack an individual around with her parasol, it will disrupt the how the person can use their power by weakening them so it's just harder to manifest and/or use, or making their powers go kinda wacky so it becomes more difficult to control

What about powers that are normal to a species, and I’m thinking about Eli’s powers, they come from an object inside his body, does it affect him or the object?
And is it actually indestructible, or just functionaly?

I would assume that Eli draws power from the object, so his ability to draw the power will be affected. Unless Ani somehow hits the object in his body with the parasol physically, the object will function as normal, but Eli ability to draw upon that power will be hindered.

Yes, the entire parasol is indestructible. Not all Black Eden agents utilize such advanced weapons, but those that do are usually someone of rank or importance in the organization, and these weapons are custom crafted from extremely rare materials often not found on Earth or our dimension. They are either crafted by the agent themselves, or under their specific specifications and guidance. So if a Black Eden Agent ever goes down, defects, or goes missing, in most cases it's more of a priority for Nemesis Core and Black Eden to retrieve the weapon rather than the agent since it is easier for them to just make another agent than to replace the one they lost (with some exceptions). The weapons on the other hand are pretty much irreplaceable.

I may as well do a thing that sums up my chars actual powers too, I haven't been too clear.
(I'm quite busy right now so I'll add in Ruby's and Raven's later.)

Also, I'm headed in for root canal surgery due to my broken tooth later. I won't be posting during that time (obviously).

Enhanced Physicality - "Pretty normal, I wouldn't call it a power."
Being a Luxien, Allie is bound to be stronger than a human. She has about one and a half times the strength of a physically decent adult, can run rather fast, and has enough endurance to raise plenty of eyebrows.

Ice Creation/Manipulation - "What, you can't guess that from looking at me?"
Allie is capable of creating and manipulating ice, regardless of moisture in the air or the current temperature.
  • Ice Constructs - With a good amount of her power, Allie can create sentient ice creatures that are under her command. They cannot last forever, though - and if she is sufficiently harmed, they will disappear.
  • Ice Magic - Her power is not limited to physical ice, an abnormality of hers. She can also manifest her abilities in the form of energy blasts, winds, etc.
  • Time Freeze - This ability is only accessible in a time of true danger. She can temporarily freeze time itself, but only for a short duration.
Psychic Abilities - "Really not that impressive."
She is capable of some traditional psychic powers, including: short-range telepathy (she must know the person), teleportation (to places she has been before, and not long distance), mind-reading (the person must not be blocking her in any way), and telekinesis (she can only hold it for a short time).

Absolute Zero - "I don't know what to call it, OK?"
Allie's most dangerous ability. If sufficiently injured or angered, Allie will enter a state which she refers to as Absolute Zero. It is a trance-like state in which she is completely consumed by rage and hatred. Her powers will be seriously heightened, and she may even display traces of sadism (depending on how far gone she is). If she falls in battle or consumes too much power, she will pass out and create a massive explosion of ice energy around herself.

Additionally, Allie's power is heavily connected to her emotions. She may unintentionally do something (usually harmless) if overly excited, angered, or fearful. This isn't a result of lack of skill, but her biology - and the reason why she was exiled from her home all those years ago.

How do you make it then (I’m asking because I have a multiverse structure of my own that I’m sticking to here, I have an indestructible material as well, but in my model, it’s unique to it process, and my whole model could fly out the window in the presence of another materiel that can’t be harmed in any way at all)

I'm not exactly sure what your asking by "How do you make it."

The material that Nemesis Core and Black Eden uses is something they extract from another dimension, it's indestructible but that does not mean it can't be proceed, refined, infused, etc. indestructible to me, means it can't be destroyed but modifying and changing it without breaking its fundamental structures is doable, it just needs to be figured out the procedures to do those things to said material.

I'm sure having multiple objects that are indestructible is fine and wouldn't invalidate your's. it would just be two things that can't break smacking one another (that sounded a bit strange...) I'm sure your material is from another dimension and follows a different set of rules.

Just to be clear, this material is not a plentiful resource and a pain in the ass to get it into its final state, even for Nemesis Core and Black Eden, I'm not going to have people dressed in armor or robots made of the stuff lol, mainly just weapons.

I dunno if that answers your question.

By my definition, if it can be refined, can’t it be destroyed and changed?
My material is part of a multiversal model, and is made by the complete destruction of a universe. Eli’s sword is made of it. Once made, Undestrucktium is indestructible and unalterable in any way possible in and out of the multiverse
Yours is fine, I just want to know everything about it so I know how to handle it

By my definition, if it can be refined, can’t it be destroyed and changed?
Not necessarily, refinement can also mean to purify something of impurities, increase its concentration, or made improvements to. For example to refine pig iron is to make it into usable iron. The iron is changed via melting down, but is still iron at the end of the day. It's not destroyed and the product is still Iron, just more pure, stronger, and better. In this universe i'd imagine refinement processes can involve many many more things via magic, external powers, etc.

Undestrucktium, now I remember reading it in your character explanation earlier in the discussion no wonder it sounded so familiar lol
Question I had about it is more about the lore of it, it's said that once it's made it is indestructible and unalterable in and out of the universe, so does that mean when the universe collapsed, it did so into the shape of his sword? (the universe tends to operate in more spherical and oval shapes lol)

I'm sure indestructible and power nullifying weapons are fine, they are bound to exist in a universe like this. ultimately they are just tools, if you can kill the wielder or get the user and the weapon apart, the weapon is about as useful as a rock lol.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, think there's a saying that goes something like that lol

So you are saying that many powers and magic was used to make the fancy umbrella? Does this mean that say if 6 or 7 characters, were focused on using their powers to destroy it, then it might have a chance of working?

I was also wondering if magic would work on it as well. Say Rowena cast a spell to I don't know change it into a duck, would it work, or would it not work at all?

The sword was the last thing left from the universe, and when you melt it, or take it apart or whatever (If not can you please explain it) could you not just leave it melted, or spread it out, inpurify it, or something else?
If the parsel works they way I think it does, it should never come near the object in Eli, ever

In addition to magic and powers, there were also other processes. The material when first extracted can be effected by it because it is something that is just extremely, extremely resilient to powers, magic, wear and tear, and it can even be melted in super extreme temperatures. It's through the process of refining it that makes it indestructible and strengthens it its nullifying ability, and the more refinement processes the material goes through the more difficult it becomes to refine due to it becoming stronger and more resilient, melting it down no longer becomes a viable option and extremely powerful powers, and magics are needed to finish its final processes, often times dark and powerful magic that requires pure life essences and the energies of life. Yea, people get sacrificed for the magic required to refine this stuff, not a good time.

Short answer is no it will not work, although you will have a better chance at using all 6-7 of those characters to focus their power to kill Ani than to get rid of the Parasol @EmoKitty21

I'm assuming the magic and processes involved in purifying it and making it practically indestructible will equal the force it takes to destroy several multiverses at once. I'm pretty sure none of our characters have that much power (and if they do, I really do hope they have a really good reason for that power because those people are exceptionally rare and even gods have a hard time destroying several multiverses without putting themselves in a coma-like state).

if by object u mean Eli's sword?

I personally don't think anything would really happen, they would have to swing the objects hard enough at one another with enough kinetic force/energy to break it and I don't think that is possible because it would require a similar amount of energy mentioned by @Merciless Medic.

The weapons, I don't think would react to one another just by touch or anything really, they're just super unique weapons.

No, not in this RP, its called a dimensional Diamond, there is a limit to how much you can draw from it depending on how you do it and who's doing it (The most powerful can draw massive amounts[but that's not Eli, ever, not eve in my canon]). the actual amount in the diamond is enough to maintain the whole multiverses dimeshinal energy from its beginning to its end an absurd amount of times over. The energy is bound by a binding dimensional force, if your material is as powerful as I think your saying it is, it could unbind that force after a bit, that would create a instant blast that would make a inter universal explosion, then make a ultramassive energetic black hole, that will have a noticeable pull on the entire multiverse, the only ones that would be able to fix ir being Nobody and Master dimensions
