Private/Closed Journey in Galar! (Roleplay)

"Hm? Oh," Jake said after he looked at Kia, as Sonny started to walk along with the humans, and looked at them as if he wanted to hop onto one of their shoulders like he did with Kia in the forest when he was a Scorbunny, but was too shy to ask and didn't want to make them stumble again like when he first evolved.

"Nickit's name is Fabian, the Zigzagoon is Chester...came up with em while you guys were fighting." Jake smiled, and motioned to the pokeballs.

Shade watched as Aaron climbed up Spirit. Now that she had time to relax a little and think, Aaron was pretty cute. She really like the guy. A part of her head wondering if they were even possible for each other, knowing that she is super in line with her work, among other things.

She caught herself staring at the man for too long and chuckled, shaking her head at herself. This could be misconstrued as shaking her head at Aaron. She pulled on her Hydreigon's matted fur on his back upwards, signaling for him to fly upwards. She then steered him towards the general direction of Spikemuth and then squeezed his sides with her legs while pointing at the city. Giving a roar of recognition, he took off.

Aaron looked over to Shade shaking her head and gave a sigh. Something about this worried him, but he tried to ignore it. When she started to go to Spikemuth, Spirit followed behind. Aaron nearly fell off at the start, even though the Dragapult took off slowly. He wasn't too keen on flying. He looked down at the buildings and immediately looked back up. Aaron then remembered he wasn't also too keen at heights. Still, he tried to keep a straight face on the way to Spikemuth. Besides, it was nice to travel with others. Aaron clutched his beanie as he flew with Spirit behind Shade.

Shade looked back occasionally to see that Aaron was having a hard time flying. She pulled back on Schwartz's matted hair to fly alongside Aaron and Spirit. She then yelled at him, trying to make sure he heard her in the rushing wind. "Hey, you don't seem to like flying all that well! You alright?!"

Aaron was constantly moving from side to side unintentionally, but as Shade flew next to him, he flashed a thumbs-up. "Could be better, but I'm fine for the most part!" He shouted back. The sooner he was back on the ground, the better for him. Aaron attempted to stay upright on Spirit until they reached Spikemuth.

"Hey, you said I was good!" He huffed a little, crossing his arms...but he was smiling brightly. He had his newly evolved Rillaboom out, gazing over him. "You know...Funky is kind of a weird nickname...how about something like...Kong?" Funky seemed a bit...iffy on it. He seemed to like the new name, but he had gotten used to his old one. "No? Maybe...Funky Kong? How about that?" That, he seemed to like. Salasa nodded, and hurried up a bit to catch up with Kia. After a bit of time in the Glimwood Tangle, he and Funky Kong noticed something...a group of Grookey were getting bullied by a group of Impidimp and a Morgrem. Funky Kong growled, stepping forwards to try and scare the Dark/Fairy Type Pokemon off...however, they then turned to him, getting ready for battle. "Um...Kia? Alex? Jake? You three can go on ahead. I need to help Funky Kong out."

Ben awoke on the couch in the treasury. Raihan was standing above him. "hahaha don't worry I won't post it" raihans stated. Ben ran to the window and looked out,it was pitch black. "Guess I wont be facing you" ben said sadly. "That's the spirit, but you should rest you were out of almost 14 hours". raihan walked to the door looked back smiled and left

Seth was in the air. He loved to fly, and it showed when he and Blaze would perform a few tricks. His laugh could be heard over the wind. It was a lot of fun for the breeder, as it had been a bit before he had done something like that with the fire type.

With loops, and spins, Seth was better then he had been in a long time. He even forgot the incident with the rotten girl who thought she was better then everyone else. Blaze kept pace with the other two flyers, and done spin in front of them, which turned into him and Blaze flying backwards facing them for a bit. "Come on we are almost there."

Shade just chuckled again at Aaron's response. He should get used to flying, it's fun. She looked over to see Seth enjoying himself. Schwartz the Hydreigon did a twirl, as well, causing Shade to hold on tightly and ducking her body.

Schwartz nodded at Seth's comment, thinking it a race. With a few flaps, he zoomed forward and past Blaze and Seth, with Shade whooping as they passed them.

"Ok, but be with us at Ballonlea!" She let Sled out of his pokeball. Sled shuffled up her arm and on to her shoulder. "By the time we get to the sixth gym, you'll be evolved. Got it?" Sled grunted in response. "Good. Keep a lookout for a potential final team member, too." Sled climbed up to her head, and started looking out for pokemon. She thought about for a bit, before adding something on. "A Flying Type would be nice for the Bug type, but Rock could cover both Bug and Ice. A Steel Type could deal with Fairy Types and Ice Types, but Poison could help you with Grass coverage as well as Fairy Types." Sled nodded and continued searching.

Jake smiled, as he pulled out some pokemon food out of his backpack and sat down, with the group currently right next to a small pond.

He pulled all of his pokeballs off of his belt, and opened them all up.

Baltimore, Scamp, Fabian and Chester all popped out.

Baltimore and Fabian look at each other in irritation, it being obvious that both still contained some animosity towards each other from their battle, where the bird helped their trainer catch the fox.

"Real quick, I'll feed you guys...plus, you can have a minute to officially meet each other." Jake smiled, as they waited for Sled's return.

Sonny hopped down from Jake's shoulder, as Baltimore and Scamp gave him grins at his new evolution.

Chester grinned as well, but not in the same way.

He laughed loudly, as he looked at the fire rabbit, who raised an eyebrow at his new teammate.

The Zigzagoon simply smiled innocently, and started to eat the food that Jake had passed out.

"Any of yours hungry?" Jake asked Kia. "Sled can have some when he gets back if he wants."

"Okay, but hurry!" Alex said before continuing on with Kia and Jake. As Kia was thinking about her final team member, Alex thought about her team. Flake wasn't the best at battling, and it seemed he didn't like it either. Flake was with Diamond, scuffling along the forest floor.

Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a Morgrem creeping up on Flake. The Wimpod attacked with Surf, and the wild Pokemon looked fallen on the floor, defeated. Flake waddled up to it to see it was okay, before getting brutally attacked by his spear-like hair. Diamond starting to glow, as Flake watched in amazement. His friend grew into a Golisopod, nearly quadruple his original size.

The Morgrem trembled with fear and tried to run. Alex turned around to see the Devious Pokemon. She caught it in a Great Ball, before he could sprint away. She then patted Diamond on the head, sent the Morgrem out, and turned back around. "Well that's convenient." Alex thought. The Morgrem looked at the Golisopod in spite, and stole few food from Jake hastily. Flake also ate before looking at the large forest, after hopping on Diamond's back.

Aaron looked forward to see the two, and wished he could do that, but at the same time wasn't. But then it clicked: He was scared of seeing heights. He could just close his eyes. He trusted Spirit. Aaron asked Spirit if she could go faster, and closed his eyes. Wasn't the smartest thing he could do. But, sure enough, it did. They slowly increased in speed, and started to increase in speed, catching up to Shade and Seth. Spirit did a series of aerial tricks, and Aaron actually thought he was having fun flying. However, he couldn't tell if it was adrenaline, fear or both.

He nodded, turning back to the Pokemon...the Rillaboom stood in front of the Grookey to protect them, glaring at the Impidimp...but they weren't backing down. They began to assault Funky Kong with some mean Sucker Punches, but he was still able to swat them away with ease by using Knock Off. They went back to Morgrem, who bowed his head at Funky Kong...but then he lunged forwards, using False Surrender to stab at the Drummer Pokemon. The Morgrem was knocked away with another Knock Off, and then used Drum Beating to start attacking the Pokemon. The Grookey cheered as the Pokemon scampered off, climbing all around Funky Kong. Salasa healed him up with a Super Potion, but...then a nasty-looking Grimmsnarl lumbered forwards, with its previous evolutions following close behind. It glared at Funky Kong, then to the Grookey, and finally to Salasa, who froze up a bit at his look. He knew Grimmsnarl were incredibly powerful, and he wasn't sure Funky Kong could take him. The two Pokemon started speaking to each other, before Grimmsnarl eventually left. Salasa sighed softly, and pat his Rillaboom on the arm. "Great job, buddy...now let's get out of here, the others are waiting..." Funky Kong didn't move, however...he was watching the Grookey play by a tree. He huffed a little, and glanced at Salasa, before going over to the Grookey. "...F-Funky Kong? Hey, wait up...what's going on?" Rillaboom motioned to the Grookey...he didn't want to leave them. Salasa paused, before nodding. "Alright, I-I...I think I get it...you wanna stay with them? Well, um..." he paused, before adjusting Funky's Black Glasses. "You...can do that. But...I can still visit you, right?" Rillaboom nodded, grinning as he grabbed his Pokeball from Salasa's bag, handing it back. A blue light shone around Funky Kong as he was released. He scooped up the chattering Grookey, waved goodbye to Salasa, and went off on his way. Salasa was quiet, and eventually walked off as well. It took him a while to find his way to the others. He seemed a bit sad...Smith was out at the moment, looking around curiously as he flew by Salasa's side.

Shade ducked close to Schwartz's body, the stance commonly done on those that ride Rapidash in those derby races. She looked over her shoulder to see Aaron and Spirit speeding up to them, but-.... Were his eyes closed? Oh, Arceus. She laughed super hard, setting her forehead on her Hydreigon's back.

She quickly stopped as she realized they were practically above Circhester Bay, which was the lake bordering Spikemuth. "Alright, dive!"

She yelled as she pushed some of her weight on Schwartz's back, telling him to go down. He tucked in his wings and spun slowly as they made their descent. The sudden feel of icy cold air began nipping at their exposed body parts that weren't huddled. Shade could feel the scream of excitement welling up inside of her and creeping up her throat as she felt weightlessness. As soon as Schwartz could see the individual blades of grass near the lake, he expanded his wings. The 0Gs suddenly became 4Gs as his descent was halted and he quickly sped through the grasslands leading up to Spikemuth. The wind was incredible. Shade had to let out a whoop for joy as Schwartz pulled up and flew through the grasslands.

The city was fast approaching, as they were easily going 80 to 90 miles per hour. Shade kept her head down, not wanting to lose it or the speed they were going.

Alex kept up with Shade as he was very experienced with riding of his pokemon. His favorite to ride was Spirit, but Arron got onto the dragon type first. In hindsight, he should have told the man that Spirit likes to go as fast as she could. Seth looked back, and saw what was coming towards them. Seth smirked and stood on top of Blaze. He took a calculated dive to the ground. As Seth done his free fall, he waved to Shade, and then turned around in the air, and was picked up by Blaze. He found himself ahead of shade, and made his way quickly to Spikemouth.

Shade watched as Seth passed her and chuckled. This guy was a daredevil, much like several of her siblings.

As she made it to Spikemuth, she landed at the Pokemon Center and returned Schwartz. Checking her Pokemon, she picked out the ones she'll be using for the battle before waiting for Seth and Aaron to arrive. Looking out, there were some Team Yell Grunts that were looking at Shade with a questioning look. One of them walked up to her, asking if she was here for the gym challenge. Shade nodded, but lifted her finger up to have them wait for Aaron and Seth.

Jake looked over at Salasa, and raised an eyebrow.

"...hungry?" Jake asked, and offered Salasa some food.

A wild Cramorant was sat on the water in the pond near them.

It saw the food, and paddled its way over to the group and hopped onto land.

It waddled right over to Jake, and looked at him with a cluck, and tilted its head to the side.

Jake blinked, and tossed it a bit of food.

It easily caught the food and gulped it down, by way of a straightened neck.

It ruffled its feathers, and waddled away.

Fabian, focused on his food, didn't see the bird walk up behind him.

"NICK!" He yelped loudly when he felt the Cramorant's beak bite down and tug on his tail.

The Nickit whipped around, and growled, as he bared his teeth and swiped at his attacker.

The Cramorant clucked loudly, and flapped away, towards Sonny's food.

It casually started to bend its head down and eat.

"RAB!" Sonny said indignantly, and shooed away the bird.

The bird, in response, reared its head back and pecked Sonny in the face.

The rabbit stumbled, and rubbed his eye and looked at his now red nose.

Sonny whined, and looked around as if wanting someone to comfort him or something.

The Cramorant then went for Jake, and nipped at his pockets.

"Hey- i was nice, now get out of here!" Jake said as he stepped away.

The Cramorant did so...

Now with Jake's phone in his beak.

Jake's eyes widened, before he quickly reached for it.

The Cramorant squawked and flew to the center of the pond.

"No no no no no no...!" Jake said, as he turned pale.

"Baltimore...go get it...but be careful....PLEASE."

The Corvisquire nodded and flapped into the air, and made his way over to the seabird.

Baltimore flapped in place as he carefully tried to grab the phone in his talons, but the Cramorant wouldn't let go.

Baltimore then decided just to grab it and run.

This started an aerial scuffle between the two, which slowly made its way over to land again. Sonny, who happened to be stood too close, got another Cramorant beak to the face, which made him whine again and back up.

Jake pulled out his last empty pokeball as a last resort.

He tossed the pokeball at the troublemaker, who got sucked inside.

Baltimore quickly retrieved the phone, and flew over and landed on his trainer's shoulder.

Jake sighed in relief, and pocketed his phone, as the pokeball clicked for the final time.

Jake slowly bent down and picked it up, as he looked at it.

"Well...full team..." he said optimistically, and let Baltimore eat again as he sat down and attached the pokeball to his belt.

When Seth made it to the pokemon center, he slide down the wing of Blaze right in front of Shade. He had a smile on his face, and it did not stop him from the time he set foot onto the ground. He gave a chuckle and returned Blaze to give him a rest. It was then that he noticed the team Yell grunt. Seth turned and rushed in an alley that the pokecenter was near as to not be seen by them, as they would know him, if they saw him.

"If you really want to leave the room this badly, I'm not opposed to that but as I said before you can't just walk outta here. I understand we've been in here for ages and I want to get moving again too, so if you think you can still move if you use the wheelchair or crutches, we can leave and go somewhere, but not outta the city." He suggested, it might be best seeing as how she's been in here for a day and a half now.

When Aaron could feel they were going down, he opened his eyes and saw land. He got off Spirit and was going to return her to Seth, but he was nowhere to be seen. Spirit stayed with Aaron to the Pokecenter, until going into an alley. Aaron didn't take much mind to it, it seemed safe there. He then went inside and walked over to Shade with the Gym Trainers. "You can go first if you want, but I'm not sure where Seth is," Aaron said to Shade.

Shade watched as Seth hid from the Team Yell Grunts and chuckled. She looked to see Aaron had arrived safely as well and she nodded as Aaron allowed her to go first. She then whispered to him, out of earshot from the Team Yell Grunts. "Seth is hiding from the Gym Trainers. I think he's more than what he said he was back when I met him. He's acting more and more like a powerful trainer. Hell, a Dragapult? Come on, I bet my Gengarite that he's the Champion."

With that, she looked at the course in front of her to see what this was going to be like. The Gym Trainers had Kantonian Mr. Mimes using Light Screen to keep Gym Challengers on track and force them to battle the Gym Trainers. Then, once she made it to a gym, which she knew there was no Stadium, since she would have seen it in the air, then she would battle Marnie.

Her Galarian Rapidash, two Galarian Slowpoke, Orbeetle, Thievul, a Phony and Antique Polteageist, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, Obstagoon, and Cursola were going to fight the next Pokemon. Goody. At least she knew what to expect of the Dark-Types here, having been practically raised and help raise them and all. She looked over to Aaron and smiled and gave him a thumbs up. She was starting to like the guy. He was pretty cute, she wasn't going to lie to herself. "I got this. Wish me luck." Maybe... Maybe he's into her? Nah, she hadn't been on a date with anyone since the Alolan Pokemon School.

She got her Pokemon ready and told the Team Yell Grunt, who was patiently waiting, that she was ready. He yelled at the Grunts in earshot, who then yelled at some more Grunts that were in earshot, and it kept going until the whole town practically heard that someone was going to challenge Marnie. Now, they were all ready.

Shade smirked. This was going to be fun...

Kia let all her pokemon out to eat. "A Cramorant? Never seen one of those up close." Kia sketched it in her notepad and added more to its information page. Kia saw Salasa looking sad as he returned, so she shuffled close to him. "What's up? You've never looked this gloomy before." Her facial expression turned serious. She put away her notepad.

"Maybe, he's definitely a strong trainer though. Well, Good luck!" Aaron replied, flashing another thumbs-up. He hoped he made a good impression to Shade. Aaron wasn't sure what she thought of him, but he hoped it was good. Aaron liked Shade, but he wouldn't count on the mutual feelings. Aaron had some time before Shade was done, so he decided to look for Seth. Maybe he could see why he was hiding.

Looking around in empty alleyways with Scale, he saw something scuffling at the end of it. "Hello?" Aaron asked, ringing throughout the empty alleys. Hoping it was Seth, he instead found a Perrserker. The Viking Pokemon looked at the man and Kommo-o, before immediately attacking. Scale looked down at the Pokemon, and tried to clang his scales to make him flee. However, the Perrserker was persistent and still attacked. Getting tired, Aaron eventually caught it and called him Erik. Seeing this as a fail, he returned to the Pokemon Center and waited for Shade.

Alex rested with the others before seeing Salasa approach them. "What's wrong? You looked fine earlier," Alex asked her friend. "And where's Funky Kong?" The Morgrem could be seen casually stealing food and eating. Wynd was perched on Diamond's head with Flake. Rose was with Blaze and Astral eating.

"Huh? Oh, um...no thanks. I'm not very hungry..." He glanced at the Morgrem, seeming to bristle a little. At the mention of Funky Kong being gone, he broke down a little, getting shaky. "W-Well, he...um...I-I helped him battle some Pokemon to protect a herd of Grookey, and he...um...h-he left. He wanted to protect the Grookey, so...he's, um...gone now." He sniffled, rubbing his eyes. He let out his Pokemon to let them eat...Rocky Road seemed to have evolved into a grumpy Coalossal, probably in the gym mission. Smith seemed to like hanging around Rocky Road, while Skreebo ate on his own, giving a low hiss-like screech at anyone who dared to go close to them. Bundt stayed near Salasa...however, Scruff was looking around curiously...he seemed to have grown attached to Funky Kong.

Shade nodded at Aaron before walking up to the first grunt. A big screen on a big building turned on, showing Shade's battles as a floating camera followed her around, allowing Aaron a view.

He sent out a Galarian Linoone. Shade sent out her Galarian Rapidash, who whinnied a little. The Galarian Linoone rushed in with Night Slash, only for it to get dazed as the Galarian Rapidash shone bright with fairy light (Dazzling Gleam), only for his horn to glow light green as he charged at the Galarian Linoone with Megahorn. The direct hit sent the Galarian Linoone flying, knocking it out.

Shade returned her Galarian Rapidash and walked on to the next grunt. She saw a Kantonian Mr. Mime blocking the path, so she guessed she had to battle the grunts. Not like she wasn't going to do it anyway.

She sent out one of her Galarian Slowpoke when the Gym Trainer sent out a Thievul. The female Galarian Slowpoke Yawned, causing the Thievul to yawn and get drowsy. The Thievul used Thief, only for the female Galarian Slowpoke to use Earthquake, tripping it up and sending shattered earth towards it and damaging it. The Thievul then fell asleep, while the female Galarian Slowpoke walked up to it, her tail shining a metallic color, and spun around quickly to smash it away with Iron Tail. All the while, the grunt was yelling at his Thievul to wake up, to no avail, leading to the grunt's loss.

The next male grunt sent out a Scrafty, while Shade swapped out her female Galarian Slowpoke for a male one. As the male version got ready, the Scrafty used High Jump Kick. He jumped in the air and came falling down, his leg extended. The male Galarian Slowpoke simply moved to the side to allow the Scrafty to crash into the road, damaging it horribly. With that, the male Galarian Slowpoke used Hydro Pump, spewing out a stream of harsh water at the Scrafty, knocking it out.

Shade returned her male Galarian Slowpoke and went to the next grunt. She had a Weavile. Shade sent out her Orbeetle, who hovered in the air stared at the Weavile, remembering its weaknesses. Fire, Fighting, Rock, Steel, Fairy, and Bug were types he could use. Body Press and Bug Buzz. After calculating what the Orbeetle should use, the Weavile rushed forward with Night Slash, only to be struggling to move forward due to the shockwave emitted from the Bug Buzz. The Weavile covered its ears, only for the Orbeetle to immediately tighten its body as it brightly shone a metallic glow. A couple more uses of Iron Defense, and he immediately smashed his body against the Weavile, knocking it out with Body Press.

The next grunts were challenging Shade to a Double Battle. They sent forth their Liepard and Drapion, while Shade sent forth her Thievul and Phony Polteageist. The Liepard used Night Slash while the Drapion used Leech Life, the Liepard's claws glowing in a dark aura and Drapion's mandibles glowing a lime green aura as they charged at Shade's Pokemon. Suddenly, her Pokemon dodged both attacks, with Thievul using Play Rough on Liepard before digging into the ground, and Phony Polteageist using Curse on Liepard. As the Polteageist damaged itself, a ghostly aura was emitted and floated around the Liepard, damaging it constantly. The Drapion tried to attack the Polteageist with another Night Slash, but Thievul dug right underneath the Drapion and smashed into its underside, knocking it out. After a moment, the Liepard was knocked out from the Curse.

Shade returned her Pokemon and was granted access to some kind of stage, with Marnie on the stage and Piers watching from the back. Team Yell Grunts were on all sides, cheering on Marnie and booing Shade. Shade couldn't help but smirk.

She sent forth her Antique Polteageist while Marnie sent out her Liepard. A Snarl was used, sending out a dark shockwave at the Polteageist, but it dodged the attack and used Curse, hurting itself but a ghostly aura circled around the Liepard as it began to sap its energy. On top of that, the Polteageist began using Giga Drain and Strength Sap, sending out two orbs of life-stealing energy as they made contact, sucking the strength and life force from the Liepard and increasing the strength and vitality of the Polteageist. The Liepard was now in a frenzy, attacking with Brutal Swing, but the Polteageist summoned a barrier to protect itself (Protect), the attack hitting it and the Liepard bouncing back. It could feel the life drain from it from the Curse. In one final attempt, it tried to use Dark Pulse, but the Polteageist dodged about again, avoiding the pulse and the Liepard was knocked out.

Shade swapped out her Antique Polteageist for her Hatterene, as Marnie sent out her Toxicroak. Hatterene calmed her mind and glowing blue swords of energy danced around her (Calm Mind and Swords Dance). The dancing of the swords danced around for awhile, while she sat there, clearing her mind, knowing what to do. The Toxicroak used Poison Jab, but the swords blocked it from getting close. Now, that the sword dancing was done, the Hatterene stayed absolutely still. The Toxicroak, now enraged, used Sludge Bomb, spitting out a corrosive, poisonous blob at the Hatterene. It hit, but she didn't seem phased. He did it again. Again, nothing happened. Suddenly, Hatterene's eyes opened up and unleashed a powerful blast of stored psychic energy at the Toxicroak. With her physical and mental strength and mental fortitude raised to such high extents, the attack Stored Power did an immense amount of damage, knocking the Toxicroak out immediately.

Next was Marnie's Scrafty against Shade's Obstagoon. The Scrafty used Drain Punch, its fist glowing with brick red, sapping energy. The Obstagoon's arms, which were currently crossed at his chest, immediately glowed with brick red energy as he used Cross Chop to stop the attack, and then he used Submission, taking a hold of Scrafty and pile driving it to the ground by flipping over backwards, sending his own head and the Scrafty's head into the concrete. This also damaged the Obstagoon, but the attack did more damage to the Scrafty, who was now dazed. The Obstagoon then unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, using Close Combat to knock it out.

Then it was Shade's Cursola against Marnie's Morpeko. The Morpeko created a wheel of electrical energy, and ran at the Cursola, spinning the wheel as he charged (Aura Wheel). The Cursola's body began glowing with light brown energy as she slammed into the earth, causing the earth to crack and rubble to shoot out towards Morpeko, causing it to fly towards her (Earth Power). The Cursola used this opportunity to use its ghostly branches to grab the Morpeko as it took the mouse Pokemon and chomped on it with Leech Life, sucking its life force. The Morpeko used Thunderbolt as it changed to its Hangry Mode, trying to get away. But the Cursola was relentless and, when she got hit by the Thunderbolt, she used Revenge and smashed the Morpeko into the ground, knocking it out.

Now its Shade's Grimmsnarl versus Marnie's Grimmsnarl. The two Pokemon looked at each other with some respect, but also animosity. The two Grimmsnarl then acted. With Shade's, being the taller one, use Dazzling Gleam, shining brightly to daze the opposing Grimmsnarl, hurt it, and move in quickly with Draining Kiss, sapping the opposing Grimmsnarl's energy with a kiss that floated to the opposing Grimmsnarl and stole its life force. As Marnie's Grimmsnarl tried to recover, he used False Surrender. Knowing this trick all too well, Shade's Grimmsnarl jumped on it and used Play Rough and Spirit Break, attacking relentlessly and mercilessly until Marnie's last Pokemon fainted.

With that, Marnie walked off the stage towards Shade and gave her the Dark Badge after they both returned their Pokemon. Shade, smiling, wished her a good day and gave her some Max Revives for her Pokemon and the grunts' Pokemon she practically maimed before walking back to Aaron.

"That was fun," she said with a wry smile. "Your turn. Their Pokemon should be fully healed, since I practically maimed them and felt bad. I gave them some Max Revives for their trouble. They seemed to really appreciate it. Anyway, good luck."

She patted him on the shoulder and leaned against the Pokemon Center, allowing him to go if he wanted to fight. She looked up at the big screen to see it changed its focus on Aaron.

Ben was up all night brainstorming possible teams then he found the best possible team. Swampert and sceptile. Ben hurried pushing everyone out of his way it reminded him of running to wallace's gym. When he arrived he barged in. Raihan laughed and went to the stadium 2 trainers walked in to the room swampert and sceptile made quick work and headed in. He was ready.

Kia handed Salasa a pack of tissues. "That's tough... but I think you should just let go of the worry. I'm no expert on this sort of thing, but if he wanted to stay and protect the Grookey, then its probably for the greater good, ok?" Kia patted Salasa's back. Sled came running back at top speed. "Now's not the time Sled." Sled tugged on her hoodie. "I said not now." At that moment a Larvitar grabbed Sled and pulled him back. It was dragging him towards a cave. Kia lazily threw a pokeball, but it broke out. Sled scrambled into the ground, using Dig. The Larvitar looked confused, and got hit by a massive brown lump jumping out of the ground. Sled had evolved! The Larvitar made a scramble for the cave, but Kia caught it with a Great Ball before it could leave. "I'm going to call you Giji." She turned back to Salasa and put her arm around him to comfort him

"I guess...I'm just gonna miss him." He waved away the tissues, and instead watched Kia catch a Larvitar, along with Sled evolving. "Nice job!" He glanced back at his own team. They were all fully evolved by now, but he was one team member short. He'd need to catch another Pokemon if he ever wanted to get back at Gabblimey. "Well...we should probably get going, huh?" He was glad it was somewhat dark for once, since he was a bit embarrassed.

"Right, I'm off then." He said, as he once again left the room, this time to finally challenge the gym. He arrived as another challenger was battling Marnie, he got through the gym mission as quick as he could, with Pawniard finally evolving into Bisharp along the way, and managed to catch the tail end of the battle. He recognised the trainer from Motostoke, though he didn't pay much attention and mostly waited around for Marnie to recover her Pokemon.

Once Marnie was ready, Alistar stepped onto the battlefield to signify that he was next. First up was her Liepard, Alistar didn't necessarily have anything that effective against Dark types, so he sent out Samurott first as he was his best bet. He started off the battle with an Ice Beam, an attack that would either way do some damage and let him get some knowledge on what this Liepard could do, hitting the cat-like Pokemon on it's side and knocking it off balance before following up with an Aqua Tail. The second attack successfully lands, Liepard couldn't be far off fainting now, however it retaliated anyways with a Snarl, lowering Samurott's Special Attack. Now that he couldn't rely so much on Ice Beam, Alistar instead opted for a powerful Megahorn that was sure to finish off Liepard if it hit, Samurott charged head first toward it's opponent and slammed directly into her, knocking Liepard out of the battle.

Next up was Toxicroak, a poison/fighting type. Alistar switched out into Golbat who would have the obvious advantage, opening the second fight with a Wing Attack/Crunch combo, he successfully managed to land the Wing Attack but missed the Crunch entirely as Toxicroak had jumped up, and was now coming down hard with a super effective Ice Punch, socking Golbat into the ground on impact. As Golbat struggled to recover from the surprise blow, Toxicroak took this time to use Ice Punch again, putting Golbat out of the fight. Alistar swapped out Golbat for Bisharp, he wasn't expecting the Ice Punch to be so powerful, though it was super effective. Alistar had Bisharp open with a Swords Dance, then Iron Head, connecting with Toxicroak and sending him flying, Alistar took the time afterwards to setup an Iron Defense to basically secure the win. Toxicroak tried to retaliate with Drain Punch, but Bisharp caught it with Slash and managed to defeat Toxicroak.

Marnie's next Pokemon was Scrafty, possibly a tough opponent, Alistar didn't swap out this time since Bisharp hadn't taken much damage in the last battle. He opened with yet another Iron Head, which Scrafty promptly dodged and retaliated with Brick Break, dealing massive damage. Once Bisharp recovered, Alistar had him use Metal Claw, landing a powerful swipe on Scrafty who then used Scary Face to lower Bisharp's speed. This was effective, since Bisharp could no longer dodge it's relentless Brick Breaks, succumbing soon after. The battle was neck and neck now, with both trainers having lost two of their Pokemon. Alistar sent out Raichu next, who's Double Team combined with Mega Punch was an effective combo to end the battle with Scrafty.

Only two Pokemon left now, it was time for Morpeko next. Alistar returned Raichu and swapped him out for Krookodile, a much better match up for an electric type. The battle opened with an Earthquake from Krookodile, and Morpeko being as small as it was didn't have much to work with to dodge, and was promptly struck by the super effective attack. It retaliated with Bullet Seed, an effective move against a Pokemon like Krookodile, who managed to dodge most of the seeds before diving underground to use Dig. He resurfaced behind Morpeko, using Outrage to easily finish the mouse off.

Only Marnie's final Pokemon, Grimmsnarl remained now, Alistar didn't switch out and Grimmsnarl opened the final battle with Bulk Up, and Krookodile, still affected by Outrage, charged at Grimmsnarl with fury in it's eyes. He collided with the other Pokemon, who retaliated with Darkest Latriat, knocking out Krookodile. Alistar swapped out for Raichu once again, he only had three Pokemon left and one of them didn't deal all that well with Fairy types, so he switched back into his most able Pokemon Raichu. He setup with a quick Rain Dance so he could utilize Thunder to it's fullest potential, unleashing the powerful move on Grimmsnarl, paralyzing it. This would be an easy fight now, Alistar thought to himself, telling Raichu to get up close for a Mega Punch, however, despite the paralysis, Grimmsnarl countered what would've been a killing blow with Darkest Latriat once again, sending Raichu reeling back to Alistar and dealing massive damage. Now they were on the same playing field, both Pokemon were weak and once blow to either of them would probably decide the fight. Grimmsnarl began a slow charge toward Raichu due to it's paralysis, and Raichu the same to once again try Thunder Punch, the two collided and a massive plume of smoke concealed them. The dust settled after a few seconds, and Raichu stood victorious over a collapsed Grimmsnarl.

Alistar grinned at his victory, and returned Raichu to it's pokeball to rest after it's hard battle, before receiving the Dark Badge from Marnie for his efforts. That was definitely the toughest Gym Battle he'd faced yet, and he wondered if he'd actually be able to beat Raihan considering most of his team was wiped out in this battle.

Kia gave them a thumbs up, then started walking out. Giji shared her bag with Sasai, and they seemed to get along. As the group exited the forest, Kia came to the conclusion that having 3 Ground Types on her team wasn't the best idea. She turned. "I don't think having a Swampert, a Piloswine, and a Larvitar is the best way to cover weaknesses, if I'm being honest. I might have to catch a replacement pokemon instead of using Giji." The Larvitar growled as she said this, and hopped out of her bag. It crossed its arm and started glowing. It was evolving! "I thought Larvitar would evolve during battle, but we could benefit from this." The newly evolved Pupitar returned to Kia's bag. "I don't really want to go first this time, so its one of you two." She nodded towards Salasa and Alex.

Salasa mumbled, returning his Pokemon and following the others into Ballonlea. He was in awe of how pretty the place was. At the mention of Pokemon being strong against Fairy, Salasa thought out loud. "Scruff is strong against Fairy Types, but...I'm a bit worried about that Hatterene of his. I think he also has a Mawile...Rocky Road should help out with them, however. Unfortunately, Skreebo and Smith will have to stay out of this one...I suppose I can go first, if that's what you guys want."

Alex exited the forest with the others. Alex saw her team, and thought it was good. She may not have a way to deal with Flying, Poison, Normal or Fairy types, but she was fine with that. Alex also had to think of a name for the Morgrem. She thought of a simple name: Grim, part of what she heard was his last evolution. Grim was looking at Diamond with hate, who was walking alongside Flake. Rose, Blaze, Wynd and Astral were looking around the mushroom-like town.

Hope this is allowed, but I think it'd be best to give Aaron his remaining two Pokemon. It wouldn't make sense if he beat six gyms with a Kommo-o, Toxtricity and Hatterene. He'll have a Lycanroc Midday (Male) named Alpha and a Vikavolt (Male) named Buzz. He's just not used them as much as Scale, Venom and Hattie. Oh, and Hattie's a terrible name, so I'm changing the Hatterene's name to Sage.

Aaron got up and smiled at Shade for winning. He waited for another person to beat the gym, before going in himself. "Here I go!" He said as he sprinted over to the grunts. After many, many Brick Breaks with Scale against the grunts, Aaron had to face Marnie.

He sent out Scale as Marnie sent out Liepard. The Kommo-o used Brick Break, however the Liepard used Fake Out. The Liepard lashed out with Brutal Swing, however Scale parried with Brick Break, both Pokemon injured. Scale brushed off Liepard's Snarl with Soundproof, before defeating it with a Clanging Scale.

After that came Toxicroak and Aaron decided to use Erik. The Viking Pokemon was itching for a fight, and immediately used Iron Head. Aaron just went with it as Erik did what he wanted. Toxicroak then attacked Erik with two Drain Punches. Erik took one hit, getting weak, and somehow evaded the second one. Soon, thanks to Steely Spirit, the Toxic Mouth Pokemon was down to Erik's wild antics.

Then Marnie sent out Scrafty, and returned Erik. Scale came out and started off with Clanging Scales. Scrafty retaliated with an Ice Punch, which got the Kommo-o devastatingly weak. The Scrafty was faster and beated Scale. Aaron returned his partner and sent out Venom. The Toxtricity summoned a purple glowing needle and repeatedly stabbed the Scrafty, which it countered with Crunch. Venom then used Thunderbolt, which the Scrafty used Brick Break and Shed Skin to get rid of the paralysis. Venom then used another Thunderbolt, which the Scrafty couldn't heal with. Using the opportunity, Venom finished it with a Poison Jab.

Marnie then used Morpeko, and Aaron used another Pokemon that he hasn't used a lot: his Hatterene. Sage came out, slightly confused. She liked being in her Pokeball, and her trainer knew that. When Morpeko went for a Aura Wheel, Sage slightly panicked and used Dazzling Gleam. Morpeko then got rid of the risk of fainting by using Torment. It then went for another Aura Wheel, before Sage's tentacle started to glow. The Hatterene then suddenly whipped around violently using Power Whip, fainting Morpeko.

Lastly came Grimmsnarl. Sage stayed in and used Dazzling Gleam, while the Grimmsnarl used Spirit Break. Sage used it twice again as the Grimmsnarl used Bulk Up twice. Sage was then defeated by a Play Rough. Venom then used few Poison Jabs while avoiding and taking Darkest Lariat. After one more Poison Jab, Grimmsnarl was down and Aaron obtained his Dark Badge.

Aaron healed his Pokemon before walking over to Shade with a smile. "Well, looks like we're done here. But we're gonna have to find Seth, where ever he is," Scale was still getting attacked by Erik, but learnt to just deal with it. Venom was playing a melody, while Sage was looking around, not used to the outside world that much.

Seth took his time in the time in a small cafe. It was well taken care of by the mom and pop that owned the place. He had out a laptop and was calling someone with a video call. "So I am travelling with a group now. It is smaller, but I think they are starting to get a bit suspicious of me. There are times I have had to use my pokemon for things that I told them I was against. They also saw me not want to go near the gyms, as the gym leaders all know me. Everytime they wanted to go, I just made up some excuse as to why I could not be there. If I do much more they will know." Seth waited for the other person to speak, and listened to what they had to say. It seemed that they wanted Seth to just out right stop showing up to meet with the group. "That will not happen Zack. I enjoy going with these people. I am not going to stop just so I can keep this secret. I know I am the one who wanted to keep it from the public, but still. I have to go, my set is coming up. I will talk to you later."

With that Seth shut off the laptop, and grabbed his guitar. He walked to the front of the cafe, and set up the mic for him. He began to sing in a very soft and unique voice. It was one of the songs that he wrote, and published before he started his journey in Galar. After a few seconds of him singing, the rest of the people in the cafe knew they were listening to impromptu concert by the actual artist of the song.
