Private/Closed Sinnoh Deus Journeys

Sinnoh, region rich with history and legends. A place where the old, quite literally meets the new, as people live their everyday lives with the legends they have been told, deep within their hearts. Sinnoh, has been a bit different after the fall of Team Galactic, and things seemed to flow better. However this was only a mirage, as there was a fierce power struggle in the crime world, where it was won by a group called Team Deus. But enough about that. let's turn our attention to Jubilife City, where a brand new adventure is about to unfold.

---

The gravel under Logan Burn's feet gave a light crunch as he walked along Route 203, as his Shieldon, Donny walked beside him. The boy had left his home early that morning. The excitement was too much to bear. Both his parents has already left, and his uncle was on his way to the mine, when he awoke. But this was something, he had been used too. He'd been born to a family of hard workers, always getting up early to get as much work done as they could. His uncle, Victor had told him, that working hard to achieve your dreams was a skill that all Burns have, buried deep within their blood.

Donny, who wasn't as awake as his master stumbled ahead, barely moving, by just shifting his weight forward. The little Rock and Steel type, had spent the previous night, waiting, mainly because he couldn't sleep. Donny gave a loud audible yawn, and Logan looked at his Pokemon and sighed.

After a while the duo entered Jubilife, one of the biggest Cities in the Sinnoh Region. He took in a deeo breath, through his nostrils. His journey was about it begin.

It had taken four years for Iris to finally get out on her journey, but now, here she was, in Jubilife City, armed with nothing but her dream, and her buneary, Candy.

Social anxiety had prevented Iris from even leaving the house, on her worst days. For four years, nothing seemed to help. No counsellors, no therapists, medications, or stays at inpatient facilities could help Iris, and then, she'd been sent to an alternative support group, which used pokemon to encourage its patients to socialise. And surprisingly, it had worked, and here Iris was, ready to beat the league, and try to become the first ever elite four member to not have a mono type team. That was her dream.

She walked into the city, cuddling Candy close as she wondered where she should go first.

Roma huffed, the people around her parting as if she were plagued with disease as she passed. Her arms were already sore, having to wheel her chair herself along the roads of Jubilife City. Honestly, her parents could have at least given her a bipedal Pokemon to help with the grueling task of wheeling her around, but no... they gave her a Feebas. A downright ugly thing if you ask her. The little fish was certainly better than a Magikarp, when you think battle, but the stupid thing would still flop around on land. That most certainly wouldn't help her on the routes ahead.

She tried to ignore the stares from people around her, she really did. But the endless stares of shock and pity, and the wide eyes of children who clearly didn't understand how rude it was to stare, was enough to bring hot tears of embarrassment to her eyes. She hated to be the center of those stares, she didn't need more reminding of how useless she was in this chair, thank you very much.

She groaned as she thrust her arms down, sending her wheels coasting for a good few seconds of relief for her before having to resume the grueling task of propelling herself onwards. Up ahead, however, she noticed the telltale red building. Her eyes brightened some, trying her best to hurry to the Pokemon Center. Once there she could rest, maybe think of some large excuse or find an adult who would side with her, then give her parents a call and chew them out on what a waste of time this all was. Then she could return home, back to her normal routine, just like this never happened at all.

Now that she thought more about it, the pokemon centre seemed like the most obvious place for Iris to go. Truth be told, she was already lost, and she hadn't the foggiest idea where she was supposed to go to find a gym, or the pokemart. Somebody at the pokemon centre had to know the way... If she could bring herself to even ask them.

She clutched Candy tightly, as the doors opened for her.

"Excuse me," "yeah, um," "mister." Logan was soon lost in the crowd stepping around, trying to get directions of some sorts. Asking any of the people around, had proven to be useless, as they had just been ignoring him, and leaving him in the surge of people. For being raised in a more rural city, a large city like this ended up a shock for the boy. Donny, who had been fully awoken from his sleepy state, by all the noise of the city, stuck close to Logan's legs, trying not to get stomped by the people.

Then a sign caught his eye. "Pokemon Center."

"I can get directions there," he concluded in his head, making his way through the crowd towards the red roofed building.

Roma sighed in relief, the Pokemon center was just a few more wheels away. She put the last amount of strength she had from this long, unneeded expedition in the city, into her arms and rapidly ate up another five feet. Another thrust of the arms gave her four feet, then three... Ah shoot I'm already getting too tired to carry on like this She thought. Scrunching her eyes shut, Roma gave her last movement her all, speeding towards the door, blind to the people scrambling out of her way and just simply praying that no obstacles lay between her and the front door.
