Pokémon Music - arranged by Naturematthe

Discussion in 'Creative Archive' started by Naturematthe, Dec 2, 2010.

  1. Hello Pokecharms members,

this topic won't content any pictures, but it is an other kind of art you will find here - music.
Some time ago, I started playing music from Pokémon games and the series on piano and got the idea to write it down. So these arrangements were created.
Feel free to download and play them! If anyone is able to record them, please tell me - I would be very glad if there was someone.
You are also allowed to publish your arrangements if you want, or tell me something to arrange. In this case, please give me the file to listen at (i.e. a Youtube video) and tell me (if you want) if it has to be more easy or hard. I also can give you easier versions of the hard arrangements.

I will categorize all my arrangements with easy (1), medium (2), hard (3) and very hard (4). Every link will start the download.

    Here are the first ones:

    2. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561229.pdf - Pokémon HG/SS Intro (4)
    3. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561230.pdf - Route 1 HG/SS (4)
    4. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561231.pdf - Trainer Battle Kanto HG/SS (4)
    5. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561232.pdf - Pokémon MD - Explorers of Sky Intro (2)
    6. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561234.pdf - Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs Credits (3)
    7. http://www.loaditup.de/files/561235.pdf - Oracion from "The Rise of Darkrai" (1)

So, now have fun, critisize them and my English, play them, whatever.

It's times like this that I really wish I could read music. Sadly, my hopes of being musical were dashed by a rather nasty music teacher, who told me my hands were 'wrong' :V

I'd really like to hear some of these played. They're nicely presented too.

I know we have some musical members around here, so hopefully they'll be able to offer you proper comments~

Ooh, nice :D I myself am a musician of many talents, namely viola and piano. These don't look too hard, and if time permits I'll try to play them and record them for everyone.

I've been waiting for someone to be able to do this since I really got into this forum, and my wish finally came true :'D

  4. Well, I'm glad I've been able to make someone happy^^
Besides, I also play violin and piano (and organ). And I promise that there will be more arrangements^^

It's never too late to learn ;)
Learning to read music is actually really easy, it doesn't matter what your hands are like. My best friend's hands are't any bigger than a CD, and she's first chair clarinet.

These do look really good. I like how you color coded them by difficulty. When I get better at my keyboard I might try the easy ones. ^^
    Good job!

  6. Yes, I found it^^

I was looking for one arrangement you will like - but not the ones who listen to it. I did not exactly know how to name it, so I gave it this name:

http://www.loaditup.de/files/561261.pdf - The most annoying theme ever (2)

Please don't take it too seriously^^

EDIT: Sorry, something went terribly wrong when I transformed the file... This version is the right one now^^

  7. When you're teacher says that, you need a new teacher. Anyone can learn, even if only few can master. If your hands are 'wrong', then through playing, your hands become 'right', as you find a playing style that suits you. It's kind of like hardened fingers from playing lots of guitar, like mine usually look like when I have holidays and have enough time to play so much.

On the subject of these, I'd play them right now. But I've gotten so used to reading guitar tabs, that I've gained difficulty reading chords (sad of me...), I'll print these off and translate them and then try playing them on guitar. It would sound interesting to play these with a different instrument than what they're made for.

  8. This is really different to other threads around the art topic! I never thought this would happen! I am a DJ and I couldn't even do this! Well, I could but I can't be bothered~ (I can't be bothered to get out of bed either) I'm really looking forward to seeing hearing more! I'm sure Baratron would love this!

  9. So, now I have somethig non-Pokémon for you, but I like it so much that I just wanted to show you:

Thank you for your motivations! Remember, if there is a piece of music you would like to play, just tell me^^

Oh, by the way, who is Baratron?^^

  10. OMG, I can't play that. Dude, I'm only ten (soon to be 11), geez! But I like it, and if anyone uploads them playing it, I'll definitely listen.
