Jake and his two Pokémon were on their way down to the survival training (no shame in getting things done early) but as they passed the canteen Titus stopped and sniffed the air, making a curious snorting noise as he enjoyed the day wafting aroma of food. "You hungry Titus? Go on then let's get you some breakfast our first meal as a trainer and partner as well as friends." Jake said as Lumous grew restless at the thought of more food. The trio entered the room and after a short queuing Jake had a tray full of Pokémon food and was scanning the room in search of a table.

Having to wait a bit for a table to come available the three of them all sat down, Jake and Titus on the bench and Lumous in Jakes lap. Carefully filling one bowl with fairy type Pokémon feed (a sort of sugary and pink cake like substance) for Lumous and one much bigger bowl with a mixture of rock and dragon type feed ( a combo of minerals and a synth meat packed full of nutrients) for Titus. As usual Lumous made a mess of hers, cheeks full with more food than the tiny Pokémon could swallow at one time and struggling immensely to chew even this soft food. On the Other hand Titus' food had simply vanished. As well as the bowl.
"What the...?" Jake said with a puzzled look on his face as he looked around the floor of the table to see if the food had taken a fall and decided its final resting place was to be the floor. "Titus where did it go?" he enquired the Tyrunt with one eyebrow arched. Titus simply patted his belly and let out a contented sigh, clearly indicating that he had indeed ate it all, bowl included, in about a second flat. Jake could only sit there wide eyed as he imagined how many bowls were going to meet their end to that massive pair of jaws his newest companion boasted. Great, now he had two awkward eaters.

Geb snuck into the cafeteria. The Sandshrew ate his breakfast quickly then looked around the cafeteria for his trainer, Jason Roy. Since Jason was nowhere to be seen, Geb would to hang out with his newfound friends until he could look for his trainer. Geb left the cafeteria to wait for Aza at survival training. The Sandshrew fiddled with his scarf and goggles as he waited.

Zeth realised that he needed to get himself some food before the survival training restarted, so he took Z down to the cafe. He would have taken Wander down too, but Sai acted like a fly around food and Wander... If what he had heard about Shedinja were true, he would want to make sure he doesn't get out on his own. He sat down at a table and Z started to greedily eat all his food as fast as he could.

Jake spotted Zeth enter the room and sit down, not looking too worse for wear considering he had been on night watch. Jake wanted to go talk to him after he had to deal with Dante yesterday and it's fair to say the two don't get along too well. Then again Jake didn't really know what to think of Dante either. He had only spoke to him briefly really and he seemed like a nice enough guy right up to the point of talking about his skills as a trainer where be became quite arrogant. It wasn't to fair to judge him their either though considering the trash talk between him and Zeth.
Making up his mind he got up and walked over to his friend, Lumous in his arms and Titus stomping along behind him. Z was clearly enjoying his meal and that brought a smile to the boys face.
"Hey buddy. How'd you enjoy our first day of survival training?" He asked sliding into the seat next to Zeth.

Dante finished his shower and put his clothes on and left the bathroom. He saw Saffron gathering her supplies and he hadn't even noticed she left her bed. "Well you got up in a hurry." He laughed at how she was dressed. "But you still look beautiful." He smiled. "i kinda like it." He laughed.

"More like tolerated." Zeth snarked. "I'm basically brain dead from lack of sleep, Z is just cranky and wants to fight everything he sees, and he can't see anyway because it's like somebody used Hypnosis on him."

"Well your certainly not going to like this next bit of news then." Jake said with a sight smile curling the edges of his lips as he checked the urgently flashing LED display on his watch. "The timetable for our survival training has been posted to our emails and Mr Grants group is due to do...." here he paused and lazily scrolled down the information presented to him "the obstacle course. Which you look about as ready for as you are to take flight." he laughed again, Lumous mimicking the laugh even though she didn't get what was funny to her trainer. Titus snorted loudly in an effort to join in.

Z snapped. "You wanna fight pinhead! Bring it on!" Z used Fury Swipes, slicing into little pieces... A cereal bowl. The milk and oats spilled over the table, and Z proceeded to splash about in them. "Oh great. This is what loading up on cereal and not sleeping while squinting into pure darkness for hours on end gets you. I swear down there was a cactus starting to grow out from UNDERNEATH my tent."

A large portion of the milk landed on Lumous, splashing first on the table then onto the Togepi's face. Luckily she actually seemed quite happy about all this and licked it off her face with a look of dairy induced bliss. Jake's half smile became a chuckle when Z assaulted his breakfast and he decided not to antagonize the Zorua any futher.
"I guess you wont be using him today then huh Zeth?" Jake said over the Pokémon's loud complaints.

'Obstacle course? Which one of my Pokémon will be useful for an obstacle course?' Aza thought. Normally she thought ahead when it came to this stuff. Apparently this was one of the exceptions for her preparedness. Aza turned to Joule, who was still riding Mira. "Okay, you've had your fun. Time to get off Mira now." she said to the Pikachu. Joule nodded and hopped off Mira's back.

It had been clear to Jake from the moment his eyes had set on it that the obstacle course was to be his greatest foe of the survival training exercise. The most blatant problem being that one of his Pokémon lacked any limbs at all, one was about as dexterous as brick smothered in wet cement leaving only one truly viable team mate. However Draco would hardly be the idea candidate for such a task anyway considering he was old and the rough skin abilty stopped him from being ablet to give a helping hand with lifting or pulling. Draco was of course now out of the picture and instead a new dragon had taken his place. A dragon with arms the size of forks and hardly screamed parkour master. But what choice did he have, thought the boy as he looked at the Tyrunt next to him and could only sigh upon watching Titus take a large bite out of the table and eating it whole.

"Mira, you okay with doing the obstacle course with me?" Aza asked the Electrike. "Electrike!" Mira said. She nodded in response to the question. Aza smiled at the Electrike's response. After letting her Pokemon run and stretch for a bit, Aza recalled Rascal and Joule to their pokeballs.

"Well Zeth we best be off. We dont want to be doing this so late we miss out on dinner after all!" he said with a cheerful smile that was at odds with the sinking feeling in his stomach that the obstacle course wasn't going to be doing him any favours.
As Jake walked off with Titus in tow and Lumous in his arms he waved at Aza saying "See you on the course!" with a positive thumbs up at her as he left the canteen and entered the fresh, crisp mornings air.

Aza nodded and gave Jake a thumbs up as he left. "We should get going too." she said. Aza turned to her Electrike. "Are you ready Mira?" she asked the Electrike. "Electrike." Mira said. She nodded.

With all the things he packed Dante ran to the obstacle course. "Hope im not late for anything." He said catching his breath. He looked at the obstacle course and examined every littke thing about it. "Oh, well that doesn't look to hard." He said with a sigh of relief.

Arriving at the course Jake could already see a fair few people had arrived to the mornings event. The only person he actually recognised was Dante who was surveying the course with a look of relief on his face.
Titus lept up and down gleefully, clearly excited for their first activity as trainer and Pokémon.

Aza ran to the obstacle course with Mira by her side. Aza looked over the obstacle course. Her eyes landed on the climbing wall for a few seconds. 'Will Mira be able to do that?' Aza wondered. "Electrike?" Mira said to Aza.
