Private/Closed Convergence Omniversal Heroes

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Pipotrons
Location: Specter’s Ship.

Krak was about to formulate a masterful comeback to Hank before the elder completely shut off the coms as well as audio devices. The grey fur covered creature cackled in an intrigued manner, cocking his head to the left.

“That was most obviously a bluff. Controlling the ship? Ha! Very much a blowheart. But what is this talk about going subatomic?? Eh! Whatever, it makes little difference.”

“Grah....” G growled in confusion.

Pipotron Krak watched on from the cameras as the van then shifted into high gear, beelining it towards the canopek barrier. Krak cocked his head again In Confusion.

“Just what is he up to?? That’s an impenetrable barrier! Invincible! Hm..hm....hmmm! Just in case I better get some assurance...”

His optic began to glow a violent purple color. As it did so, where the van was, a purple color seem to radiate in front of them. Suddenly, a Canopek Scarab was warped right in front of them: A half a foot tall metallic shredder droid. Team Hiro had fought swarms of these when against the first canopek, but now it was against a very miniaturized Hank Pym. The scarab clicked and shrieked as it’s meat grinder like mouth flapped open from it’s pincer shaped teeth.

“Kekekeke Kekekeke!!!! Krak cackled mischeviously. “Good luck with that, mr. Subatomic!”

Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot Dungeon

Belowski blinked, unsure quite what to make of Noah’s rantings and dramatic speakings. Acting like the universe was out to get him and speaking in a complex manner, one that Belowski could hardly follow.

“Woah, your talking awfully big for someone in a cage. That like, totally weird.” Belowski chuckled, taking the hand. “Hey, that sounds like that Seto Kaiba Guy. Are you like his cousin or something?”

At this point, Belowski hung upside down, his les and feet hanging from the bars that connected to the top of the prison. It seemed he hadn’t a care in the world despite Noah’s talk about a universal scale.

Specter's Ship
"Yeah, we're doing fine and- Doom? Wait, who's Doom?" Cut Man asked. Come to think of it, there did seem to be a few discrepancies... like the lack of fatigue in his voice...
That's when Chief brought up the elevator thing. "Yeah, I get you can fly, but you were still fighting when we left and we took a direct route here..." Cut Man replied. He was getting even more suspicious...

"So, Scott. You recognize this thing?" Wasp asked. "How do we beat it? Some sort of weakness you can exploit?"
Unfortunately, if Scott DID give an answer, Hope couldn't hear it as some ear-bleeding, TERRIBLE music grinded into her comms. "What was that?!" she exclaimed. Looking back towards the car, she saw Luis and Hank's exchange with the strange figure, before they raced off towards the wall. "Dad, what are you-" No connection. She could only talk with Scott now. Hank had isolated the truck.
With a grunt of frustration, Wasp soared towards the wall, just behind the truck. She quickly drew out two red discs, tossing them both at the lower corners of the wall. The ends suddenly shrunk, making the danger zone of the wall much higher than it should be - not enough to slip a person through, but easily enough space for a Hot Wheels car.

THE VOID
"...what the hell do you want?" Silver asked, slowly rolling over and pushing himself off the ground. "Why would someone who considers maiming, mental torture and MURDER a form of HUMOR want to talk to me about ANYTHING? At this point, I don't care..."
A tear fell from his face.

Underground, True Lab
As Gaster began to seemingly melt away, Blaze knew that wouldn't have finished him. The hands were still there, after all. "Come on, you bastard!" she shouted. "I know your tricks. You're not done yet! FIGHT ME!"
That's when the water flooded in. Blaze was washed away before being slammed into the wall with a yelp. The entire room was doused now...
Blaze slowly got up, surrounding herself with flames to quickly dry herself and the surrounding area. Now she could clearly see Jet, Frisk and that asshat with the notebook. But with all this water, she couldn't fight effectively...

Goldenwalk Business District
"Just great. Some form of terrorists, I have to guess." Nathan thought. "This world definitely doesn't look like one at war, despite me recognizing quite a bit of it."
"Going up?" Nathan grabbed the arms of both of the humans before pulling them into the sky.

From nearby, Scorpio watched over the group. "There's the travelers..." His tail slowly rose up, folding back into a laser once more, before he fired it right at the unsuspecting X.

Risky's Ship
"Oh, uh..." Rottytops pondered. "I guess I died. But I'm a zombie now. That's pretty much it. Can't say I remember anything about what life was like before I died... Oh, but I do have a half-genie for a best friend, and two older brothers!"
Risky nodded. "Good, good. Now then-" And Vriska started blabbing. "...great. Rottytops?"
"Yeah?" Rotty asked.
"I want you taking them to Hypno Baron's Castle."
"You mean my brothers' mansion?"
"Did they really- UGH. Yes. Fine. The one with the portal." Risky groaned. "We'll be able to drop you off at Mermaid Falls. You're on your own from there."
"Sure!" Rottytops nodded. "Now about those brains~?"
"Contessa, which ones do you want to keep?" Risky turned to the spider-lady with her question.

Camelot Castle, Serena's Room
"No problem!" Serena smiled back at her. "Now then, uh... I think I've had enough of a rest for now. Sleep can come later!" Serena stood up. "While we're here, I want to do a bit of exploring! It's always good to have new things to tell Ash about..."

Camelot Castle, Throne Room
"My lord, I can escort them to the training grounds." Percival said.
"...yes. Please do that." Sonic held his head with a groan. Why had he lashed out like that? It had been a tiring day, yes, but it felt like his aggression was extremely high now. Like something was messing with his head.
Percival drew Laevatein, pointing it at the duelists. "Sheathe your swords and follow me." The cat quickly walked out of the ground, moving past the stunned Gawain and Galahad.
Merlina lended Sonic a hand in returning to his seat. "Alright. Mr. Negan. Good solution. I'm guessing you're the leader of one group. How about the other?"
Tony slowly stood up. "Tony Stark, your Majesty. You could call me the DeFacto leader of this shambled group we've got. This is Ruby Rose..."
Ruby gave a nervous wave.
"...Shantae..."
Shantae nodded.
"...Yang Xiao Long, Solid Snake, and you've already met Raiden. Oh and-" Tony was cut off when he realized Sans wasn't with them anymore. "...I guess that's everyone."
"Guess so. You all can relax now." Sonic nodded. "King Sonic the Hedgehog, I'm the ruler of this place. This is my advisor, Merlina."
Merlina made a court curtsey. "I sense great magical power in two of these." the advisor stated.
"I'm guessing I'm one." Shantae said, standing up. "Half-genie, after all."
"Who's the other?" Ruby wondered. "I think Sans has magic, but..."
"The other one is you, Ruby Rose."
Ruby froze. "M-me?!"

Training Room "Ruined Japan"
"Th-thank you..." the woman said, before letting out a gasp.
Right behind Rick was another Ogretail, its teeth already right before his back.

The Cliff, The Wilds
Keda slowly nodded. "I just fail to understand what use odd clothing like that would have in personal matters, but if you truly think it's not needed information... Anyways, once we rest up, I should be able to guide us home, even if the snow changes what the land looked like." Keda lifted up the back of his left hand, revealing the same star map marked into it that the Cartoon Rescue Club had discovered. "This is the mark of all hunters, as well as a guide home. If I can see the stars, I can be sure of the direction we're headed."
Then Rex started his whole facade. He was annoying Keda with this attitude and attempted threats, but his question was a fairly useful one. "It would definitely be better to get to know each other if we're going to work as a team." Keda replied. "I'm quite curious about your world, myself."

Dreamland, Castle Dedede
"Better solution." Maple said, throwing her hands down on the ground. A large rune circle was created beneath her, practically identical to the one she had on arrival. "We'll leave the same way we got here. Everyone, come on!"
Hat Kid nodded, quickly driving over. She switched hats, the scooter vanishing, and suddenly seemed to speed up to incredible lengths - when in reality, she had slowed down time around her. She ran into the circle as soon as the power of her hat ran out.
All Kris needed to do was take a step back to reenter the circle, given his previous defensive maneuvers.
"Alpha, come on!" Maple said. The gamer was still fighting Dedede.
"Oh, come on!" Alpha laughed. "It's not every day I get to fight one of my favorite bosses like this."
"ALPHA!"
"Oh, fine." With a grunt, Alpha leapt back, leaving Dedede with a double blast from Zeus Rage as he flipped into the circle. With Hornet's maneuverability and Lilac's speed, they'd have the group soon enough.

Catgirl Universe
Haze merely shrugged, ignoring Numemon completely and moving to follow Batboy. She decided to walk fairly close to Ogremon, though. "I hope I didn't hurt you..."

Ultra Space
"Either help with the mission or get out of the way." Dracula said. Zan streaked right towards Necrozma, slamming the rock and flames into it. She quickly flipped back, flying into the air and raising her partisan. Dracula called down a strike of lightning from... somewhere, and Zan coursed with energy before sending the blast of raw electricity right at Necrozma.

Name: Hiro, Kale, Omnidroid
Location: Specter's Ship

Hiro fell to a knee, as the effort to slash futility at Kyuseishu's spectral avatar as he panted in place. The fatigue of the Clockwerk fight shinned again, though even with this he still cast a cold glare at the "savior" who again remained unexpressive behind that mask as he glanced back at the wreckage of Clockwerk. He noted the eyes that still shinned before he turned back to Hiro whose eyes never left Kyuseishu.

"Must say, you have gotten stronger. The boy at Hyrule would never have been able to stand against an entity of that caliber. An impressive display, and if your master were here I am sure she'd laud you with deserved praise." Kyuseishu said as Hiro only grit his teeth in response to the reference to his Master Kairi.

"You....don't deserve to be able to speak her name! Take your praise to the deepest pits of Hades!" Hiro spat, both figuratively and literally as the spit flew through Kyuseishu's body as once more the Keyblade "Savior" made no visible reaction to the display.

"In spite of what you might think, I did not come here to start a fight. What pride is there in dealing with wounded opposition?" Kyuseishu asked as Hiro practically growled as he used his Keyblade to lean on as support.

"Come show yourself and I will show I have more than enough in the tank!" Hiro cursed out as Kyuseishu only offered a light chuckle in response, which had been more than anything else Hiro got out of him.

"Such fighting spirit. But I am afraid for the moment I am not the one you should worry diverting your additional reserves on if they even exist. Seems one of your own comrades are having some issues and making quite the ruckus on the ship. If my sources are to be trusted." Kyuseishu replied, which was true as he had gained insight into what his trio of followers had seen thanks to the link between his Keyblade and theirs as Hiro took pause to think. He never trusted this guy, but on the off chance he had not been feeding him a lie he considered his team and his guess for who that might be went to Doomslayer. He was the most aggressive of the group and given the issues Hiro had with Chief's back against him likely the strongest of their current party if not the most unpredictable the most . Kyuseishu almost seemed to sense this as he was quick to add on to this comment.

"I'll also only say that it is not who you believe it to be. Seems even the sweetest souls can be pushed past a breaking point and your timid little rose finally developed some thorns." Kyuseishu asked, as Hiro had an eyebrow raised while he thought his cryptic clue over before his eyes widened slightly.

K...Kale?

-----
"REFLECT!!!"
The Trinity Squadron managed to bounce back and use their natural agility to avoid the bulk of Kale's blasts though for a trio of them each one extended their Keyblades and fired back a reflect slash which sent them flying back to the Berserker as they exploded against her skin seemingly and smoke covered her muscular figure.

Once it cleared, Kale emerged unharmed; an energy field around her body that blocked the blow as it faded and she unleashed a mighty roar. Kale saw the hand that Specter offered to her, but it appeared she was far too angry to consider slowing down as she stepped aside around Specter to confront the trio.

"Specter, it appears she is still riled up. To prevent her from destroying this ship to get to us or this Slayer we need to calm her down before we can resort to "handshakes" so please stand aside." The leader of the Trinity Squadron advised as they had been quick to act on Kale's advance as before she could charge as trio two of the three tapped their Keyblades against each other and both began to glow.

"WIND!" Both called out as they moved their Keyblades in opposite directions and produced counter currents as they sent a large tornado that picked up speed and size right towards Kale. Kale charged ahead, as the tornado slammed into her but she avoided being knocked back though the twisted momentarily kept her from flying through it as she growled seemingly preparing an attack even while locked in the twister. But....

"THUNDER!"
The leader of the Trinity Squadron scaled up the wall of the room and got above the twister, before he fired powerful streams of electricity with mixed with the twister and produced a thunder tonado as Kale roared inside of it. Whether in pain or fury alone as the electric wind struck her was hard to tell as Kale was pummeled inside the twister.

"RAAAAAA!!!"
Kale responded in kind as she unleashed a powerful explosive energy wave that caused the tornado to blast apart as a shockwave rocked through the room. Within the next moment, Kale shot ahead as she aimed for a punch to the female member of the trio who only barley got her Keyblade up for a block as the force of the punch still shot her back as she slammed into the wall. The male member tried to slash at Kale from behind, but the Berserker turned to catch the blade before she spun him around with it and then tossed towards his companion as he slammed into her against the wall. Kale had an evil chuckle, amused with herself as she extended a palm seemingly ready to prepare a ki blast their direction.

"Stop."
The air around Kale froze along with her body, and within what seemed like no time at all she felt slashes at her thighs, back, gut and simply all over her her hulking figure as when she was able to move again she felt the blows and the the two Keyblade Wielders ahead of her were gone; their leader having used the frozen time to get them out of her war path as they regrouped behind her.

"This brute's power is absurd." The female member mentioned as both she and the others assumed battle positions while Kale turned to them; in spite of the blows she had given or the energy she burned she still had that look of fury and even malice as she shifted to a smirk and made the "come on" motion with her finger.

"Come on. Stalling won't make your trip to hell any less painful."

------

The Omnidroid continued to push with its might, and given it had originally been built to combat the likes of the superhero strongman Mr. Incredible among others it had no shortage of of strength as it worked to push against Doomslayer and crush him with its claw, but then it had to halt as it turned to see the giant charge for him.

With a pair of its free legs, it aimed to extend and try to deliver hard smacks to the side of the head and chest to knock the giant away before he could tackle it. In the same motion, with its head turned 360 it fired a couple shots on the ceiling to try and cave sections of it to try and get it to fall on him though this did cause it to halt any additional push against Doomslayer to try and crush him.

Name: Erza
Location: The Wilds

Erza blinked a bit as Rex suddenly cut between her "advice" to Keda and herself as she removed her hand and moved over to her attire she offered up as she produced two swords and began to cut one against the other to produce sparks as she worked to make a fire before she'd address the nosy duelist and Keda's own curiosity.

"I like in the land of Fiore. One where magic is an everyday part of life though only the minority populous learns how to use it. I am among others who can in a Mage Guild known as Fairy Tail. It is a chaotic group that goes on endless adventures....and they are my family...." Erza admitted, as her voice lowered by the end. She wondered how her companions had been doing since herself and Happy vanished. And that made Erza worry her exceed companion and what had become of him. Still, for his sake for their sake she'd remain strong, and vowed to find happy and return to them no matter what.

-----------
Name: Yang
Location: Camelot

"R-ruby!? Are you sure?" Yang called out & asked, as she heard the words spoken by the wizard with shock as she glanced back to her sibling. Ruby was strong, stronger than most people gave credit for on first appearance, but for this tremendous magic source to come from her? Yang desired to know a bit more.

----------
Name: Toph
Location: Goldenwalk

Toph had been prepared to answer Logan's question, before that demon girl in a bad sweater appeared as she grabbed the flower and made that comment about how much Toph could lift.

Stomp

Toph's immediate response was a simple strong step, as she produced Earth around Chara & Flowery as she aimed to bind them in place and apply crushing pressure which would hopefully cause enough discomfort to prevent that girl from poofing once more as a girl on a motorcycle charged them as she aimed to try and hold them in place so that girl and others could deal damage to the pair. Naturally, she made sure that there'd be pointed "extensions" inside these slabs she tried to squeeze around the pair. Hey it wasn't killing if the girl in question seemingly was immortal so she'd have no worry over that concern.

"I don't know, let's find out." Toph said with a smirk.

----------
Name: Ogremon
Location: Catgirl Universe

Ogremon had little care for the antics of this pile of sludge nor what its tamer thought of it, as he simply followed the one named Batboy as the sooner they got going the sooner he could work to get back home.

The warrior Digimon seemed to peak into something in its raincoat, as it it was viewing something, but it kept it hidden and soon focused back in front of it as it walked. Though he had heard Haze's question and internally scoffed at that.

"Oh please, I am a proud warrior. Something like that wouldn't phase me I've been through far worse. So don't dwell on it." Ogremon replied, as he tried to mask the earlier incident with a boast.

Name: Katsu, Lilac
Location: Dream Land (Dedede Castle)

"You think you can just leave so easily!" Dedede shouted, as while Waddle Dee assembled to prepare arrows Lilac dashed over to the circle that Maple produced as Katsu and his group looked on in confusion. This seemed odd, as Katsuo presumed it was some sort of teleportation but to where?

"Get in!" Lilac called out to the group as she wanted to urge them to come quickly as the Waddle Dee advanced.

"B-but the ship..." Maya pointed out only for Lilac to cut her off.

"We'll get you there for now we need to go. This is faster so trust us and come on!" Lilac urged, and without further protest Katsuo gave a nod as himself, Shantae, Shovel Knight, Phoenix & Maya with their core all climbed into Maple's circle.

"Ready!" Katsu called out as he fired wind slashes at Dedede and the Waddle Dee to stall them.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Specter, Timeman, Pipotron Meta
Location: Specter’s Ship

Specter looked from his chair, watching as Kale began to fight the trio’s desperate attempts to defend against her. The battle was quickly turning more and more to the favor of kale, even though the trio had the element of surprise in their grasp. Specter’s Chair swerved harshly to the left, avoiding a Ki blast that blasted a hole right through the bulkhead behind him. Specter looked up at the shattered bulkhead before glancing down at Kale.

“Hm...this may be a bigger problem than I anticipated.”

One of the keyblade weilders, seemingly their leader, turned to Specter. "Specter, it appears she is still riled up. To prevent her from destroying this ship to get to us or this Slayer we need to calm her down before we can resort to "handshakes" so please stand aside."

“Stand aside? Pretty bold of you to think that you have authority over me.” Specter stifled a laugh, crossing his legs on his floating throne. “You three seem to be a little over your head, so I have gathered some assistance!”

Specter snapped his fingers. To his beckon call, two Mecha Hiros arrived from the hallway. Knowing they knew who Hiro was, Specter have a smirk, the lifeless eyes of the Mecha Hiros staring ahead.

“With only mere hours to study the technology, your Swords you wield have been now encorporated in my latest designs. To a large extent. These Metal replicas shall aid you subdue her, make sure to play nice.”

With another snap of his fingers, the two Mecha Hiro’s hosited their Protoype Keyblades. Aiming at Kale, a bright green glow coming from them.

“_Wind.Exe”

Soon after they said those words, a blistering wind tore through the joint, aiming to push Berserker Kale back or at least slow her advance. While they did this, they began to open their mouths, a bright blue glow starting to get brighter and brighter from inside as they charged their powerful beam attack.

......

“What? Is that monkey an imbecile?” Timeman growled, looking at the camera feed. “Keep fighting like that and this ship will go down. Ship shields only work to protect from outside threats...tch. Monkeys...”

Timeman looked on, a large space station coming into view from the distance. It bore a striking resemblance to Specter’s headwear, except connected to a very tall, blocky, Starbase like structure. In front of it were three large rings, pointed toward the planet below. A small one was close to the base, a medium sized one after that, and a large ring the furthest away, similar to a sonar icon.

......

C-Crap Gari! Is there something I missed?? No! My studies are without fail, Gari! Uh...uh...think Gari!

M-Hiro gave a quizzical look to Cutman. “Your acting weird, are you okay? I mean, I get it. With your brother Gone and all...”

Perfect, Gari! Deflection as well as emotional entanglement, Gari! Emotions are easy to manipulate Gari! Perhaps this will be easier than I thought, Gari.

..........

Name: Contessa
Location: Risky’s Ship

“...”

Contessa listened to Rottytops, talking about her ‘life’ or lack their of, as well as her brother. Contessa wasn’t a stranger to such topics, which said more about her than it did the zombie. She then asked to eat one of their brains, which made C panic.

“You can’t eat our brains! That’s just-“

“Quiet C, I am thinking it over.” Contessa said coldly.

“...!”

Contessa chuckled darkly to herself. “Perhaps not now, though I do understand that desire anywhere. I’ve actually worked with zombies before, ghosts and the like. Make no mistake, with choosing me as your commander, I will make sure you are very well fed~.”

C wasnt sure who to be afraid of at this point, the zombie, or his own employer. Wasn’t something that one would normally have to be worried about

Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Wilds

Rex listened to Erza’s Story about her homeland, and ‘fairy tale’, which to be frank, didn’t know if she actually lived in a literal storybook or a land. For the sake of an actual future, chose to beleive the land theory. He scratched his head, becoming confused at the notion.

“Well ya don’t seem to be in a hurry to get back. You haven’t mentioned that place until now, and I had to ask for you to do it. Why are you here then?”

It’s a good question, after all, if she loves her family so much, why is she so far away from them? It doesn’t make any sense. Especially since she doesn’t seem to be in a big hurry to get back.

Name: Doug Duem, Numemon
Location: Cat girl Universe

Doug couldn’t get his eyes off of Ogremon, who was still very much a virus type digimon, and his species were known for their love of chaos and destruction to the fullest. Yet, seeing him speak and talk to haze raised a snag of doubt in his mind weather he may actually have good intentions.

“You...you aren’t mindlessly attacking everyone.” Doug blinked at Ogremon. “Is it because you have a tamer? Or is there something in it for you?”

Doug had to know, it was his oath he swore to his guard team to make sure No evil threat was unleashed upon the world, no matter what world. He stared right up at Ogremon, hands on his hips. Meanwhile, Numemon had picked up a handmirror which previously wasn’t in his possession, seemingly grooming himself in it...well...as much as slug could anyway. He slicked his two eye slashes back, in an attempt to look Suave. It appears he had different intentions to take advantage of this multiverse trip

Talon, Macy
Throne Room

"Alright, that's enough. I only stuck around because you made me," Talon muttered quietly, grabbing Macy once things cooled down, and this Merlina started talking to the rest of the group.
"Wait no! It was just starting to get goo--" Talon shoved her out of the room.
"Again, sorry about her." He shut the doors behind them, dragging her down an alleyway.
"What the hell? I was starting to enjoy myself."
"That's not what we're here for," he replied, letting go of her arm.
"We don't even know why we're here, dumbass."
"That's the problem. Sitting around here in their refugee camp isn't going to help. You saw what that king guy did."
"Well... I mean yeah..."
"We're in something huge. This is no time to be fucking around."
"Whoa. Since when did you get so serious?"
"Since I figured out that we just got involved in something much bigger than the both of us, or even our entire world. We have a few options here. Either we wait around here for something to happen, or we take a look around and figuratively and literally make ourselves relevant to the plot."
"Where is this coming from?"
"We just got pulled our of our fucking REALITY, Macy. Not exactly something small. This is all happening for a reason, and we need to find out what the hell it is so we can do something about it."
"Talon, what if we're in way over our heads here?"
"When has that stopped us before?"
She laughed. "Alright you purple douchebag, I'm in."
"Great. I know where we should start."

Sir Lancelot, Goku, Galacta Knight
Camelot Castle Training Grounds

"ChaosCONTROL!!!"
Time stopped as Lancelot came to a halt. Her leg attack had been successful; if not for the time stop, he would have taken a face full of that red energy. Stepping back, he walked around the frozen Caulifla, looking for any weak points.
He stopped at her back, sheathing Ddraig Goch. He aimed his palm at her back, the hand lighting up with yellow energy.
"Chaos Spear."
Time started again as the sharpened blast of energy was fired at her from behind.

Jet
True Lab

This was it! At last, he'd finally get a hit on this bastard!
"SMASH!!!"
...
This was it! At last, he'd finally get a hit on this bastard!
"SMASH!!!"
...
This was it! At last, he'd finally get a hit on this bastard!
"SMASH!!!"
...
This was it! At... wait.
"SMASH!!!"
He realized it. Everything was resetting over and over again. He had fractions of a second to realize what was transpiring before he would reset, screaming his battle cry in the heat of the moment.
Speaking of heat...
"SMA--"
Time slowed down. He watched as Blaze went berserk, unleashing an inferno that burned the metal walls.
Gaster melted into the floor, and Jet was thrown in front of it.
There was no time to react.
Wall upon wall of flame engulfed the young Ninja, who could only throw his hands in front of his face.
This was it.
...
He was...
...alive?
Daring to open his eyes, he was most certainly not dead.
The shield.
That gun Alphys had dropped was protecting him. The weapons that he had picked up were melded into his giant gauntlets; perhaps a side affect he was too careless to notice.

*You free the three weapons.
*You obtained the Flash Gun, Barrier Gun, and Broken Gastbuster.

Gastbuster? Alphys sure had an imagination for names.
Had...
Swallowing his emotion, he focused on what was in front of him.
The fire.
The shield curved the flames around him in a perfect sphere, leaving Jet astonished as his SOUL burned bright, working in unison with the power from the Barrier Gun. He looked at the second gun.

*Check

*Flash Gun--WEAPON
*Has the power to rearrange molecules; it's how Alphys got into the wall.

He stood up, immediately swept away by the waters, tumbling around in his little ball like a hamster.
"Alright, that's enough."
Locking himself to the ground with his crystals, Jet drew the Barrier Gun, pulling the trigger again. The shield disintegrated. He then drew the Flash Gun, aiming it at the water.
"Hope this works--!"
He pulled the trigger, watching as most of the the water disintegrated into thin air.
Moving on, Jet stepped past the puddle that once was Gaster, flipping off Gaster's hands that were still in the air.
He pushed Frisk aside and walked towards Maxwell.

*ACT

*Demand

"You are gonna start explaining yourself," Jet demanded, his knuckles glimmering with the crystal gauntlets. "You're gonna tell us why you're here, and why you attacked us out of nowhere. We're settling this one way or another, whether it be with or without violence."
As he said that last line, a new sword started forming on his back to prove his point. He bore his eyes into the child.
"Now start talking; because trust us. After one of our friends just DIED to that guy, I'm not exactly in a sparing mood."

The Hunter
Specter's Ship Mess Hall

"Oi, it's Hiro!" Indeed, Hiro strutted down the hall, sounding exhausted but alive. Though ti was curious- not a scuff or scratch on him. "See, I told ya he'd take down the Owl." Though that raised a few questions in the Hunter's head...where did Hiro come from? The Chief had the same question. And who the feck was "Doom"? And why did he say Elec was missing? Did he not see him get stolen away? Aye. This was strange.

"I didn't know that box was an elevator." The Hunter told the Chief, and the rest of the group. Elevators were still a bit of a rarity in his age, but Yharnam had a few. None that went up, down, and in all directions, but elevators nonetheless. But that was besides the point. "But yeah, if you weren't on the elevator wit' us, how the hell y'get up here? I knew you could fly but you’d need to come through a window or somethin’...And why you callin' the Slayer doom? He told us his name. And ya saw Bolt get taken away too." Could...this Hiro be an impostor? The monkey had mechanical owls and had made mechanical Hiros...

And now even Shea-Cutman was showing his doubts on this Hiro fella. Why, it looked, sounded, and acted like Hiro, but there was something a bit off. A bit weird. The strange inconsistencies in his talk. And now some talk about Cutman's brother? It was curious behavior.

"Oi, how about this." The Hunter told "Hiro". "What's my name? I told you it already. I mean, you know who I am right? Your the first bloody person I met in this whole mess. You tell me who I am, and we can move on friend. After all, the Slayer and Kale are close." There was a roar from down the hallway. It sounded similar to Kale, but was the meek girl really capable of all that rage?...It was more reason to rush to her aid, but the Hunter didn't want a faker to stab them in the back when they needed them most.

"Come on then. We ain't got all day. Just one word mister Hiro." More banging. More chaos unfolding. The Hunter stepped towards the potential faker, putting his gloved hand on it's shoulder. "Come on now...my name."

Eileen the Crow
Central Yharnam

The lot was strange, but they certainly weren’t bad. Aside from the wolf, but it was clearly a special case for her, as she dug bullets out of her body in a rather...repulsive manner. Seemed they could reel her in somehow, but beasts had a funny habit of being rabid. Still, no moves towards them and she’d live another day.

One of them told her some interesting tidbits. Being thrown across worlds by some fantastic force, meeting all sorts of bizarre creatures and individuals. Winged horses, mechanical beasts...he only knew most of the other children, which was sure better than none. Sparks flew around the young lad as he spoke in hushed, urgent tones. "Aye, you alright there kid? Sounds like you lot have been through a lot. And your, eh...sparking." The chapel loomed over the wandering group now. "Tell me more when we make it to the chapel. Sounds like an interesting journey."

But something was wrong. Quite wrong. A scent in the air? A feel of static? Something odd overcame the Crow.

"Hey...is anyone else feeling that-"

A wail sounded out through the air. And rampant clattering and creaking of ancient bones.

A large bestial creatures crashed down upon the street. Grey molted flesh, flowing off it's body. An exposed skull, looking at the group. No eyes, tongue, or any other exposing features aside from sharpened teeth and an agape mouth. Blue electricity surged through it's body, surrounding it in bright blue light. It wailed again, shrieking in anger.

"What the...? A Darkbeast?!" Such a creature roamed the ancient depths of Old Yharnam, but why or what had it been drawn here? It didn't matter- it was a threat and obstructing their way. The beast cried out yet again. Clearly it had a hunt of it's own to go on.

Eileen whipped out her swords, and her blunderbuss. A Darkbeast was strong, but nothing a good hunter couldn't handle. "Alright, stand back. This hunter can very well deal with an ancient beast."

Raiden and Jetstream Sam
Camelot Castle Throne Room

Blow after blow they exchanged, Sam being too elated at such combat, and Raiden simply trying to disarm him- he heard Snake, but was a bit preoccupied to answer. Of course, he got a lucky break soon enough. Because King Sonic had been simmering up over the day. And clearly this little scuffle pushed him over the top of the pot.

Small pebbles hit the dueling cyborgs as Caliburn planted itself in the wall. A few inches over and it would've run through Samuel's head.

And Sonic told them to put up there weapons.

Raiden didn't want this in the first place. And now, Sam didn't want any part of this either.

"My apologies, King." Raiden said, sheathing his blade. "I didn't want him to hurt anyone."

"Oh, so that's why? Bold of you to assume I planned on fighting anyone besides you." Sam told Raiden, in an obviously cocky tone. He still sheathed his blade. He was done here. But it was then he realized who was standing next to Raiden. "Hmm? Isn't that an interesting face..." But Jetstream Sam quickly dropped that thought. Because Negan had showed up.

Raiden was quite surprised that Sam had even made an acquaintance“What? Who’s this guy now?”

“What can I say? I’m a charismatic guy. I can make friends outside of work.” Samuel chuckled. He very well knew his obligations to Negan, but never mind that. Means to an end, even without the airship. And he’d break off when he felt like it. “And may I ask, who’s that guy with you?”

Charismatic is not a word I’d use to describe you.” Raiden pointed one of his clawed fingers towards the “samurai”. “And you know as well as me who that is. Solid Snake-”

“Who died a few years back of old age.” Sam had turned very cold in that remark. As if he was trying to push buttons.

And it was working. “Well- He’s- This isn’t the Snake…”

“Yes, well this has been fun meeting you, a dead man, and your...posse...but I have no further interest in our fight at the moment. Your holding back again.” It seemed Sam’s entire jovial appearance had faded. “Though I will get that fight. Under Desperado’s banner or Negan’s.”

Samuel ignored the gesturing Percival. His stride uninterrupted as he walked towards Negan and Drax. Raiden was at a crossroads himself. He couldn’t fight Sam, and he just casually dropped a bombshell about Snake’s death. How could he even bounce back from that? So where’d he go from here?

“...Don’t listen to him.” Raiden told Snake in a hushed voice. “Jetstream Sam. Works under a brutal PMC called Desperado. Trying to send the world spiraling into war it seems. Nearly killed me six weeks back and has been plaguing me since.” Now for the death part. Oh boy. “I don’t think we are from the same time. I came from 2018. In 2014 you passed of old age, having taken down Ocelot and the Patriots with him. I doubt you died with any regrets. And trust me Snake, I’ll make sure you don’t die with any either.”

Kiran
Camelot Castle Sanctum

"Well that was...lunacy, huh?" Two cyborgs dueling it out with swords...that wasn't what he expected next at all. This day was wild already, and that just...flew it over the edge pretty much. Ah man...at least they peeled out of there. Kiran wasn't sure why he was covering for Bro...He knew as well as that adviser and king knew, that puppet was bad news. Really bad news. Awful, terrible news. Like hearing your dog died.

But something stopped him from absolutely dropping Bro. An odd connection between the two had formed. Bro obviously didn't need Kiran, and Kiran honestly didn't need Bro. But they become something of "friends", if you could say that, over the past bizarre hour. Friends looked after one another, right?...Right.

"So, uh, we gotta do something with the puppet. The King probably isn't going to let that thing stay here. You should hide it." Where? Good question, Kiran was getting to that. "We could bury it. Put it in the ground where no one can see it until we all figure out how to go home. Store it outside the town maybe? Worse comes to worse I'll just bury it in my T-shirt where I can't see it."

The more Kiran looked, the less it seemed like they were actually going in a direction. He was supposed to lead the way, but it seemed he sort of just followed Bro. And who knew what he was following?...Well, obviously Bro would know.

"Uh, where are we going? The king's probably noticed we are gone by now...I assume you want to keep your puppet in one piece, right?"

Sarah and the Flamebringer
Mountainside

The Flamebringer hadn't even considered food. But luckily, the new allies had ingredients to make said food. Which was better than catching a meal. Samus and herself would likely make quick work of whatever game they could find, but eating wild meat was just asking to get a few parasites. Much less any unknown fruit or roots they found.

“That is comforting.” She said to the Blade and wielder. “Surely you’ll need a fire. Allow me." Whoever occupied the cave last did a good job of procuring good firewood. Made her job all the easier, building a fire was a cinch. They didn't have much in the way of igniting the wood, but she had...herself.

She promptly ignited her fist.

And as the flames caught the firewood, they too promptly ignited. Why that was a good idea in the cave...There were a few natural vents. One would be a fool to light a fire in a concealed space.

With the fire ignited, her fist extinguished. "There we are. Simple."

Meanwhile, Samus had no good information on their location. She and Falcon were pretty much in the same boat- were in the middle of something, then get ported here to the wooded land. Still, it was important to know your comrades. She didn't exactly recall telling Samus her name or anything yet. "Nothing? Well, that's okay. We're all pretty stumped. By the by, I caught your name but I never quite told you mine. I'm supposed to be called Thunderhead, but you can call me Sarah. I kinda dropped the super hero identity thing when I got here. Figured it didn't necessarily hurt me wherever we are."

She stuck out a hand for Samus to shake. Samus didn't seem like a bad egg or anything, and neither Falcon nor Robin or Lucina had much to say bad about her. Maybe a bit cold, but Priscilla was like that when Sarah first met her.

Of course, she was assuming a bit much from the few words she told them before...

Priscilla, Jackson, Quint, and Aisha
Goldenwalk Streets

Lucario interjected, and made a good point. They could hear him...he couldn't hear them.

"Touche," Priscilla told the dog, his hand stretching out for an earpiece. She did what he asked, and handed one over. "Hopefully it fits." The earpieces were designed in a way that "One shape fits all" but raccoons and oversized dogs weren't necessarily accounted for. In any case, they were all outfitted with earpieces.

Thor and Rocket had a good plan. Which was go in guns blazing. "I mean, what one of our plans aren't that?" Jackson questioned, to the chagrin of Priscilla. They usually did have a plan. Jackson was just usually was the one who would go in guns blazing as the distraction.

But there wasn't much else way to approach the situation. So as they drove along, Priscilla spoke up. "Unfortunately, we're pretty blind to our threat here. Hopefully they aren't violent from the get go...and if things get messy, we'll just, mmm..."

"Interrogate the last guy there?" Jackson offered, perhaps a bit too quickly.

"...If we must. But maybe our villains are a bit of the monologuing type. Hear their motivations for doing what they do...And hit them while they rant." Priscilla finished up.

"I think we might be getting to see them soon after all..." Aisha told the group. The van screeched to a halt.

Down the street, was masked individuals. Their optics glowing green, some with horns protruding from their heads, others with an additional set of arms, visible under the streetlights. A large mechanical beast loomed with them...a scorpion? These were...not your normal terrorists, that was for sure.

"Uh...Remember guys, don't engage immediately. We might want to get something out of them first."

Of course, she never really had met the individuals in the van...and outside of it...They had just established a temporarily alliance. And they might've just taken her message to not engage...

To engage, fully.

Hornet
Castle Dedede

Well, as much as Hornet loved carving through an endless swarm of orange and peach fuzz balls, seemed they were departing with their new acquaintances. As she zipped through the crowd of Dees, however, there was a certain...blobbish...creature that was making a horrible cacophony. Something about leaving too quickly. Hmm. On another note, she liked the fuzz balls better.

Well, he had to be dealt with. And she still had a few spare pimpillos that she wouldn't particularly miss.

So as she landed in the magic circle, she prepared two of the explosives.

"King, was it? Have a pleasant day."

The blobbish thing had no right to the name of king. And, technically a princess herself, no doubt did that put her in a position to undermine such individuals, abusing the name of "king".

So she unceremoniously threw the pimpillos at him. Primed to explode in a burst of flame.

Commander Cecil
Goldenwalk Streets

“Halt, Soldiers.” Cecil told his significantly smaller troop. They had located one. The tell tale blue gleam, odd location. It’s crystalline appearance. Clearly a convergent crystal. One of many terms used for the high energy packets. They were incredibly powerful, indeed. Something kept them from ripping apart objects, at the least in its current state. Extraction was difficult, but trial and error managed to eventually net results. Thus, the Gate.

The Gate would stop the crystals from going “Nuclear” as some would put it. Rather than bursting into the dimensional fabric, they’d extract the energy to do the same thing, in a far cleaner and controlled manner. Then came the issue of collecting them.

“Now, containment procedures.” The Troops procured a capsule of some sort, made of a thick reinforced glass and metal. Next, a pair of...tongs. Very exciting, very essential. Three of his soldiers quietly approached the crystal- as even the slightest vibration could disrupt it’s fragile state. One soldier quickly snagged the crystal with the tongs, and the crystal looked as if it were preparing to burst. But the snagged crystal was just as quickly sealed within the capsule. It hummed as it deployed a sort of negative energy to stop the rupture- and succeeded, with a cute little beep confirming it’s job was done.

“Excellent, men. If the other soldiers work diligently we can expect to be out of here by morning. Hopefully the gate procedures are going swimmingly as our locating.” But Cecil had become cocky over his years of work. He didn’t expect anything to go wrong.

And that was his first mistake.

---x---
Grima
Ultra Space

This skeleton was a fascinating specimen. Truly, truly fascinating. Seemed he wished to take a passive stance to containing the crystalline monstrosity. Cute, but ineffective. And the fell dragon had little regards for things that were “cute”. Still, if the skeleton stayed properly out of the way he would do nothing to him. He didn’t wish to get Z against him, not at this weakened point.

“We’re here to capture, not become friends with this thing.” Grima told the shouting skeleton. “Give him pasta when he’s on the ship.”

Pah, pasta? This thing lacked a mouth, as Grima had pointed out a few moments before. It was a mystery to how it ate crystals, much less pasta!...Whatever, that was pointless venture to pursue. He had to continue doing his part to stop the threat. Unfortunately, the Thoron tome had all but been depleted of it's magic. Luckily, this vessel had many pockets of tomes to call on. Ah...This one would do.

A green covered tome he pulled from his robes. Rexcalibur. Bringer of a controlled blizzard of sorts. It's cover opened, and Grima followed up Dracula's and Partizanne's attacks with some of his own- large shards of ice propelled towards the lumbering crystal. Surely it would be desperate enough to pull out it's final attack. Malos would do his little jail shindig and they could return to their normal human slaughtering plans. And figure out what the hell Z wanted such a barbaric creature for.

As long as the skeleton kept far out of the way? Things would be fine, just fine.

Crap, Gari! I forget the weird trench coat guy’s name, gari! Didn’t think I would have to remember such a small detail Gari...if only I could tell Krak to read his mind without being discovered, Gari. When in doubt, Deflect! Gari!

“Woah woah, what’s with the open hostilities?!” M-Hiro sweated. “I get it guys, we lost a man or two. But you don’t need to worry, we will get them back, i’m sure if it. After all, they have To he somewhere on this ship, right?”

M-Hiro put a hand on Cutman’s shoulder sympathetically, like he was trying to tell him that everything would work out in the end.

Koji and Alina
"So, do you think you guys can handle this?" Koji asked. He was prepared to Spirit Evolve to Lobomon. Meanwhile, Alina stopped the motorcycle suddenly when Chara snatched Flowey. She growled in frustration, before using the kickstand on her motorcycle to keep it from falling over. She created a scythe out of darkness, then charged the now bound Chara and Flowey.

Alina, Happy, Achilles, Jay Mexicano
"I don't have time for this!" Alicia cried in frustration. Happy was forced to cling tighter to Alicia's shoulder as she literally flew at the beast at an incredible speed. She pulled back her fist, aiming to punch the beast. Considering that she had super strength, if it connected the beast would be sent flying.

Catgirl, Okimi, Gao, Volpa - Catgirl's universe
Batboy lead the group to a strange machine. Above a cylindrical platform hovered a familiar blue crystal. "Look familiar to anyone?" he asked. Batboy paused for a moment, then continued. "Sometime after Catgirl vanished from this universe, I found a crystal like the one that caused her to vanish. I managed to get it here without being sucked up and sent elsewhere."

"Alright, let's head out then." Twilight said, as she scanned the star map Nomad had and then turned to said stars as if she remembered correctly this was a sign to go east. So she trotted just that direction down a mountain trail as she would lead the party and hopefully begin the road to find some civilization.

Naturally, her mind traced back to her friends. Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity....everyone back home. And that only caused her resolve to grow, as she would turn to that strength that bond as fuel; for they may not have been right beside her but in her heart she knew they were there with her in spirit. And she would return to them again, no matter what...

Specter's Ship

"AH!" Luis cried, pointing at the scarab as it. "GIANT BUG!"
Hank tried to block out Luis' scream as he quickly yanked the wheel to the side, slamming on the brakes. The van made a perfect u-turn, leaving tony little skid marks on the cafeteria floor as the Scarab attacked the ground the van had just been. "Luis. I need you to open the back of the van." Hank ordered, earning an incredulous look from his Latino compatriot. "Now, Luis!" Hank ordered.
"Right, yeah, yeah, on it, boss man." Luis replied, climbing back into the back, gulping as he grabbed the door handle. "So... should I open it at a certain time, or-" He was cut off as Hank had to jerk the wheel once again, the Scarab having landed in front of their van again. Luis went tumbling into the side of the van as Hank grit his teeth. "There should be a weapon back there. Looks like one of those guns from that video game you play."
"Oh, you mean Halo? That game is super fun, man. You should try it. Like, crazy stupid fun." Luis grinned, nodding his head as he looked at Hank through the rear view mirror as Hank rolled his eyes. "Open the back and grab the gun!" He yelled. Luis gave one last nod as he looked about, easily locating the Stinger, grabbing it. "Okay, what now?"

Hank let out a sigh. "I asked you to do two things." He said. "What were those two things?" Luis frowned, his brow creasing. "Uh... grab the Halo gun and uh... oh!" His face lit up with realization as he returned to the door, grabbed the handle, and opened it just as the Scarab landed in front of the van once again. Hank jerked the wheel a third time, avoiding the thing, before looking into the rear view mirror at Luis, who was holding the gun, standing with a confused look on his face, the back doors opened.
"Well? What are you waiting for? Light it up!" Hank yelled at him. Luis jumped, fumbling with the Stinger, before performing an awkward salute, and turning around, raising the weapon. "Hey!" He yelled at the Scarab as it turned to face the van. "You're the perfect height- to kiss my ass!" He yelled, pointing the Stinger at the Scarab, and opening fire. A blast of energy shot out, quickly slugging the Scarab-
and doing nothing.

"Uh... Mr. Pym?" Luis called back. "I think the Halo gun's broken."
"Damnit... Luis, take the wheel." Hank growled. Luis' eyes widened. "What? Like, 'take the wheel while I deal with the problem'? That's like, Jason Statham badass, man." Hank glared through the mirror until Luis remembered Hank's words, and quickly came to the front, taking the wheel as Hank climbed into the back. "Don't get us killed." Hank muttered as he grabbed the Stinger, looking down at the weapon. There were two dials for settings. The first dial had three settings to it. 'Enlarge', 'Minimize', 'Sting'. The second dial had a power setting, showing how much energy would be exerted.
Hank glanced out of the van at the matter-destroying wall, and an idea sparked in his head as he moved the 'Sting' dial to 'Enlarge', changing the power setting to medium, and aiming it at the Scarab- until it leaped into the air, flying to land in front of the van as it had three times before. "God..." Hank let out a frustrated cough, turning around to order Luis to do something, before the Scarab landed in front of the van. "OH MAN! IT'S BACK!" Luis called. "I hadn't noticed." Hank muttered back as he was thrown into the wall, Luis jerking the steering wheel to evade the Scarab for a first time. "YEAH!" He yelled. "I got skills! Right, Mr. Pym?"
"Sure." Hank replied as he aimed outside of the van again as the Scarab came into sight once more. "There'd better not be any more of these." He growled, before firing.

The Scarab was struck by a blue blast as soon as Hank fired, and it immediately grew, shooting up into the air as its size was increased tenfold. With the growth in size came the amount of space it took up, and half of that space was consumed by the energy wall generated by the Caponeks. The Scarab was literally half-way disintegrated as it toppled over, moving its legs feebly. "Woo! We showed him!" Luis cheered as Hank moved into the front, shoving Luis out of the way and taking the wheel again just as he saw Hope swooping in with red discs. "Let's move." Hank said, driving the van back toward the energy wall as Hope threw the red discs, creating a momentary opening.
However, the van was just a bit too far... they wouldn't be able to make it... if not for Hank's fail-safe. He quickly popped open the arm rest, revealing a single, large, red button. "Oh man. This is like Inspector Gadget." Luis said as Hank pressed down the red button, and the van lurched forward as Luis and Hank were shoved back into their seats, the vehicle shooting toward the hole- and passing through with a second to spare as the wall began to close again. "We made it!" Luis breathed. Hank looked down to find Luis' hand tightly gripping Hank's arm, making his hand purple. "Let go of me." Hank muttered grumpily as he yanked his arm away from Luis, and looked ahead.

They had some work to do.

------------

"Ag!" Scott winced as he recognized the music blaring in his ears. One of the many terrible mixed tapes designed by Luis. "The hell? Is Luis here!?" He wasn't able to get an answer, and if he did, he didn't hear it, as his momentary distraction prevented him from preventing something he probably could have prevented... from preventing? Scott's confusion would have to be put aside as he felt a mechanical arm slam into the side of his head, another hitting against his chest, adding more to his confusion.

Wait... that thing has four legs. Two are being used against me... One against that armored guy... Is it standing on one leg!?

He quickly grabbed the Omnidroid's arms in a sort of bear hug before yanking. His increased size- and strength along with that -allowed him to not only pull on the Omnidroid, but yank it clean off the ground and into the air. He tried to swing it about in an attempt to slam into into the weird shield thing.

Flynn was given another break as the Omnidroid was yanked away by some... giant... thing. He didn't really have the energy to try processing it as he fell to his knees, cradling his fractured arm. What a shitty day...

------------

John found that his suspicions were shared with the others. This wasn't just some weird paranoia on his part. This 'Hiro' was just too... non-Hiro. What worsened the situation for M-Hiro more were his deflections, attempting to avoid questions and topics by deflecting to something else, trying to take the heat off of him. Chief was too sharp for that, and it seemed the others were too. Whoever this was...
It wasn't Hiro.
Slowly, John slid his combat knife out of its sheath, staring at 'Hiro'.

"Like he said." 117 spoke, gripping his knife, moving one of his legs slowly behind him fro support in either an attack, a counter-attack, or an evasion. "Name. Now." He ordered.

W.D. Gaster
THE VOID

"Oh, you'd be wise to begin caring, then." Gaster replied calmly. "Everyone is alive and well. Yes, even Dr. Alphys. Her death was another illusion of mine. The destruction of her weapon, however, wasn't. Regardless, I merely needed to demonstrate my superiority over you to ensure full cooperation."
He hovered toward Silver, allowing the Hedgehog a full view of the doctor up close. His bony face was etched with scars, and rather than the dark slits of his eyes or mouth seeming to be hollow, they appeared to be filled with some kind of inky liquid that managed to stay inside of his skull. In the void, his clothing was different too. Rather than the cloak he wore in the lab, his body seemed to be made of the same inky substance inside his skull. His appearance was that of a decrepit old skeleton, and he seemed in a far worse condition compared to the version the others had witnessed in the true lab.
This was the TRUE Doctor Gaster.

"You see... I am in need of assistance. Despite my equipment, and other items at my disposal, I cannot fully extract the power of your time stone. I am in need of it, and I'm fairly certain you'll understand the object more than anyone." His voice here was different too. No matter how close he was to Silver, his voice simply sounded distant and murky, as though he were standing far away, his voice glitching out here or there.
It didn't take a genius to realize that the doctor was barely holding himself together in wherever here was. He was beyond death itself.

"Now, before you begin attempting to threaten me, and refuse to help, I must remind you of what I'm capable of. The deaths you've witnessed thus far have been illusions of mine, created for the sole purpose of tampering with your mind. I succeeded, of course. If I wanted to actually kill any of you, I'd have done it a long time ago. Despite all of my power and knowledge, however, I still require your assistance."
The time stone appeared, hovering above Gaster. "Tell me everything you possibly can about this, and I will leave you and your friends alone. Refuse... and I'll kill every single one of you. Not just these versions of you, but every single form, in every dimension and timeline. I am very thorough in my work, and I am not someone you want as your enemy." His voice slowed down and become hushed and deeper as he leaned in further still, the darkness seeming to become impossibly blacker around him.

"Now... talk."

Frisk, Gaster Projection
Underground, Alphys' Lab - True Lab

The fire, the water, the distractions, all were pointless. The black puddle that had formed where Gaster had stood began to spread, much like the darkness that had taken Silver earlier had. The room too, began to shift, walls deforming and twisting, the floor rumbling, the ceiling expanding and contracting as gravity suddenly seemed to disappear, the remaining water in the room floating up, along with the occupants as the black puddle remained attached to the ground, quickly consuming the floor as it began to climb up the walls, and reach the ceiling.
The four hands remained in place as this occurred, hovering silently.

A disembodied laugh filled the true lab, deep... dark... dangerous. In any other situation, it would have seemed to be a hearty laugh, one filled with joy and amusement. Here, however, it brought a cold, numb feeling that washed over everyone.

Frisk gulped as the interaction between Maxwell and Jet was quickly interrupted, everyone hovering into the air, the room contorting and shifting until it was simply a box. A large box being consumed by black. The floor was consumed, and the walls were quickly following. Everything they'd seen so far... had all of it been just Gaster messing around? Was he still toying with them? Everything was unclear, and the longer Frisk thought about it, she found that her thoughts were being invaded. Flashes. Images appearing within her head for just a moment. Not just random flashes, either. Memories.

Dust. She saw a knife. Toriel's surprised eyes... Papyrus' head lying in the snow... Blue dripping from Undyne's melting face... Random pieces of Mettaton littering the floor... Sans clutching a gash in his chest as red leaked out of the sad grin on his face...
Frisk felt tears sting her eyes as the memories she'd tried to put behind her came flooding back to the surface. A feeling of coldness was washing over her, and she started to become unaware of the others in the room as the last bit of color was taken by the black substance, the room falling into complete and total darkness...

Spider-Gwen
Goldenwalk Business District

"Yeah." Gwen replied to X as he hoisted her and Nathan into the air. She wasn't exactly comfortable with this form of travel, but what the hell. She didn't want to upset the robot in the event he tried to overthrow humanity.
That was when her spider-sense went off, buzzing like an annoying alarm at 5 in the morning. Not just any normal alarm, like... one of those sonic alarms that screech your ears off, and have way too many buttons on them that it takes you a whole two minutes to figure out how to shut it off.

"Watch out!" Gwen yelled, immediately swinging herself up, grabbing X to knock him off-course. Whatever was coming, she could sense it was headed straight for them. Her attempt at moving X proved successful, as he and Nathan both went unharmed from the laser shot by Scorpio.
Gwen, however, suffered the attack, as the red blast ran across her back. Luckily, it didn't go through anything, but it tore the back of her suit open while also making a deep crater in her skin as the laser continued on its way, fading in the atmosphere as Gwen's eyes rolled into the back of her head, the heat and the pain having been so sudden and out of nowhere that she'd just fallen into shock.
Her grip on X was gone, and her maneuver to move them had taken her out of his grip. She started to fall backwards as her eyelids shut, the world tuning out...

Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Risky's Ship

Vriska blinked, turning her head to look at Rottytops. "You... eat brains?" She asked, and paused, before smirking, her two fangs sticking out of her mouth, overlapping her bottom lip. "That's awesome." She then took a moment to look Rottytops up and down, absorbing what she saw. "So... you're a zombie but you're... alive... you eat brains, but... is your own brain dead? I've seen zombies in media, like that one tv show, 'The Trolling Dead', but uh... those guys are pretty mindless..." She narrowed her eyes, staring at the zombie quizzically.

Bro, Sans, Artemis, Snake, Negan, SG-1
Camelot Castle

Artemis stood as well, removing her hand from Delphox's fur, having been petting the Pokemon the entire time. "I can show you around some more. This place has a rather attractive garden in the courtyard, you know. Their eating rooms are just around the corner, too, so we could head there if you're hungry. Wherever you like, dear."
She decided not to address the mention of 'Ash'. Sounded male, but... some names were a bit tricky. Could never really tell. Regardless, Artemis had already made a commitment. New place, new Goddess. The time for turning over leaves had come.

Negan felt a little nervous as Merlina mentioned something about 'sensing'. However, she didn't even bother to look at Negan. He felt a little disrespected, but then again, he didn't much care. For a moment there, he'd feared she'd be able to sense the 'bad' in him like that dog thing from back on the air ship. The one that had betrayed him... He was still wasn't entirely sure how Lucario had sensed 'bad' in him. Maybe it could detect guilt. Negan didn't exactly lavish the idea of killing. He did it when necessary, and sometimes, he had to bend the rules of 'necessary' a little bit to ensure his own success. He was just a man, after all. Nobody was without any bad in their lives... was that ass of a dog always so negative toward people, or was it just him?

However, the King's praise of Negan's suggestion assured the savior that he was doing fine. He'd made a good first impression, and hopefully managed to cover for Sam good enough to prevent them from getting thrown out on their asses.

He then began to look about as the others spoke. The throne room wasn't... exceptional. Nothing really stood out about it when compared to other forms of media, the fake throne rooms on television he'd seen a million times, but it had a nice vibe to it. A comfy feeling. Despite the cold stone, it looked warm and inviting.
From outside, the castle had appeared huge, but inside now, it seemed even bigger. Negan wasn't exactly sure if he had the resources or man-power to even manage a hostile takeover. The display the King had given earlier made it clear he wasn't at all any sort of pushover, and if he wasn't, then his army surely wasn't... He gave a nod to Sam as the samurai approached. Things were still working out good despite the confrontation. If Negan was great at anything, it was negotiations. His charisma wasn't to be underestimated, and he planned to put it to use.

Maybe he should just try and think about conquering some other time. If he could get on the King's good side, he could bring the others here. It'd be better than camping out in those woods. He'd done that for too long, anyway. He decided he'd first get how the King wanted to be addressed. If Negan wanted to bring his group here, he wanted to make sure they didn't act out-of-line and ruin everything for him.
Still nearby Sonic, Negan leaned to the side slightly, toward the King as Ruby and Yang discussed her 'magic' or whatever, the savior didn't really care.
"Hey, was just wonderin' if there was a certain way I should address you." Negan said. "I'm not familiar with royalty, so... I hope I don't end up making a fool of you, my people, or myself by doing something I shouldn't."

------------

"We all die at some point." Snake replied, eyeing Sam as he stalked off, before looking at Raiden. "I'm not surprised. Well, I am, actually. I always thought I'd go in a blaze of fire, not peacefully. Hm..." He frowned, looking down as he thought for a moment, then returning his attention to Raiden. "I knew there was something different about you. You and the Raiden I met in my time. Not just in appearance, either. 2018... " He let out a chuckle. "Damn. That's like the distant future to me." He paused. "Raiden. Don't tell me anymore. Keep it to yourself. I don't want to create some kind of time paradox and ruin my timeline when I get back."

------------

"Lil' Cal will be fine." Bro replied to Kiran. "He's gotten out of tougher spots. You don't need to worry about him, cool as he is." They made their way around a bend, and began climbing a flight of stairs. "Get the feeling we're being watched?" He suddenly asked, glancing over his shoulder down the stairs to see nothing. "It's weird... You feel it too, right?"

Rick Grimes
Training Room - "Ruined Japan"

Rick didn't have the time to react as he felt teeth sink into his back. It felt real... but at the same time, he could tell it wasn't real somehow. He could experience the simulated pain, but apart from that, he didn't feel anything that came with it. It felt more like a shock, really, like getting jabbed with a taser at low power, which he'd felt a few times before during officer training.
Rick growled, instincts kicking in as he quickly threw himself backward, dropping to the ground, slamming the Ogretail into it, forcing it to release him as he scrambled back to his, immediately shoving the fake God Arc into its exposed belly, 'killing' it.

Chara, Logan
Goldenwalk Sewers

Chara looked about at her binds as Flowey's pot was crushed, and he was squeezed against her small frame. Her smile remained plastered to her face as she looked up at from the rock binds to Toph's cocky face. "You're good, Toph." She stated. "However, you're flawed. You'd be so much better if you weren't so cocky."
The rocks around Chara and Flowey began to glow red, and as Alina rushed in, the binds erupted, releasing a shock wave of red energy that blasted the rocks away, as well as any of those close enough, like Alina. "Stay close to me, Asriel." Chara told Flowey, holding his roots to her as a red knife appeared in her hand.

"Right then, Toph. I agree." Chara smiled widely. "Let's find out."
She raised her arm, pointing her blade ahead, and fired a red blast. It slammed into the ceiling above Toph, tearing through the brick and concrete into the earth. Some dirt fell down from overhead as Chara's grin widened, and she fired a volley of blasts at the same spot. Each blast more and more powerful than the last, erupting in explosions of energy, loosening the dirt more and more, widening the hole, until finally, after only a few mere seconds, the tunnel began to collapse, right on Toph and Logan.

Chara then flipped her knife upside down, and slammed it into the ground, cracking it. The earth beneath their feet started to rumble as the tunnel collapsed, and cracks started to run along the floor, glowing a deep, unnatural shade of red as they spider-webbed away from their origin point, shattering the tunnel as though it were glass. "Have fun, Beifong. I'll see you soon." Chara giggled, before disappearing with Flowey at her side.

Gordon Freeman
English Manor

It had felt like mere seconds, yet at the same time, it had felt like an eternity as Gordon was swallowed in darkness, digesting in the bowels of black, before suddenly, he found himself... somewhere else. His vision was blurry at first as he noticed a few things right off the bat. The sound of a low, vibrant hum in the background. The feeling of a soft queen-sized bed beneath him. He could feel he was still in his HEV suit, but he noticed his glasses weren't on his face. That explained the blurry vision.

He groggily, and instinctively, moved his arm to the right of the bed, reaching for the end table he could notice as a blurry brown blob. His glasses were there, which he quickly snatched, placing them back on his face, pushed up the bridge of his nose.
His vision returned, and with it, a revelation of his surroundings. He was in a nicely decorated room, filled with clocks, lying on a quilt, which was spread out over a queen-sized bed. The clocks hung on the walls, sat on random dressers, or simply sat on the floor. More clocks than he felt like counting.
The walls were designed with an old-timey design of apricot and elegant dark brown designs, the wallpaper pictured with clocks of its own in the apricot-colored sections. He looked toward the only window in the room, which was shut tight, a pure white light streaming in. Slowly, the free man swung his legs off the bed and stood up, approaching the window to peer out, but all he could see was a blinding white.
He turned from the window to the door to find it was open- and a strange man, shorter than Gordon, was standing there, facing him.

Gordon took a step back, curling his fists, but the small man raised a single hand in a sign of friendliness, before speaking. "Relax, Mr. Freeman. I am an ally. My name is Doc Scratch. I'm your new employer."

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Pipotron Meta, J, Krak, G.
Location: Specter’s Ship

M-Hiro blinked, looked over to Chief who so audaciously held his gun up to him. M-Hiro looked shocked, blinking several times. A bead of sweat came down his face.

“D-D-Damn it all to hell, Gari!”

Suddenly, M-Hiro began to squish and mush, like jello. He pulled and contracted before reassembling himself into his true form. Pipotron Meta showed his true, floating shape. Rather unappealing to the idea and borderline unsightly. His eyes twitched in frustration as his pink lip furrowed.

“You Humans are way too lucky for your own good Gari!” Meta whined. “It would have been so much easier just to transform into that doom, Gari! All I need to say is ‘F**k Off’ and I would do a spot on him, Gari! But jokes on you, Krak will get me back at any time now, Gari!”

Seconds passed as nothing happened. Pipotron Meta looked over towards the cameras in growing worry.

“Krak, Gari...?”

.......

Krak was busy cackling at Hank’s feat, destroying the scarab despite being small and even managing to get past the field of the Canopeks. G groaned in anger that Hank got past, beating her chest. Krack held up a finger to his toothy grin at her.

“Shhhh! Can’t you see I am trying to outwit a clever adversary? For once, my intellect can square of against another! Kekekeke!!”

Krak quickly typed on the keyboard, the cameras following hank’s tiny car as it moved along. Krak thought of a funny idea. His eye piece began to glow as all of a sudden, thirty dozen banana peels were teleported right in front of the van. To them, it was a whole forest of bananas. And in the center of the the thirty dozen was one lone monkey, looking around for the little car.

“Expect the unexpected, right J?? They will never expect this! Kekekeke!”

“I fail to see the reason, but I will applaude it if it shows results. Until then, I will give no such thing.”

Talon, Macy
Camelot

Somehow, the duo--trio, counting D.E.A.N--had snuck out of the Castle Town.
"You know the drill," Talon said, noticing they'd reached the top of the border wall.
Macy nodded, as Talon climbed up to the railings. She gripped his legs.
Talon's floating arms rose up into a T-pose. Two purple blades ejected from them, rotating.
His arms started to spin around him, into a mini helicopter.
He carried them off the wall carefully, Macy's feet touching down smoothly. Macy let go, and Talon dropped to the floor.
"I don't see why I couldn't grab onto your tail~" Macy replied, in a bit of a flirtatious tone.
Saying nothing, he only gestured for her to follow.
Smirking, Macy drew her gun and followed behind.

Hero Killer Stain
The Wilds

Immediately on guard, Stain turned without pulling a weapon out of its sheath.
"You'll answer my questions first; where am I, and who are you?"

Jet
True Lab

That laugh.
If it were anywhere else, he probably would've shrugged it off.
But here?
It pissed him off.
Reaching for his new sword, Jet stopped as the room became black.
Gripping his weapon and drawing it, he was suddenly stopped.
W-what the hell was this?
He was a kid. The fire. His parents, his sister...
Gone. Not dead, but gone. That guy... come to bring down everything.
He lived for himself. Then years later, he was found, and yet, more tragedy followed.
Jet saw the attack. That name still gave him chills; Allister Alloy.
That pruny old man...
Those monsters broke in and started screwing everything over. With every flash, the cold seeped deeper into Jet's skin.
His friend, lying on the ground, torn apart.
The Elemental Masters dropped like flies, then his powers were taken. He wouldn't have lived if not for...
Jet closed his eyes. Because of him, his friend took a blow. He remembered carrying her limp body in the middle of that dark road, thinking about how his friends would kill him, and how he would kill himself from the inside out if he let her die.
They stormed Alloy Industries later; Jet, Ari, Zu, Sylvia, Ava, and their leader, Oscar.
All of them; his squad.
He got his powers back, but then they lost.
Horribly.
Their teammates taken. The stress. A new enemy came to warn them of an oncoming storm. Sylvia took a heavy blow and almost drove some of them nuts. It was a do or die moment, with a one in a hundred shot or making out okay, nobody knew what to do, nobody had any idea of what was gonna happen next. Sure they got past it, but the suspense, the hatred, the fear of knowing that they would be found and maybe put to the same fate as their teachers, no, their friends, in an infinite coma that would last forever if nobody stepped up. And who would, who could? Put in a chamber for eternity, nobody to talk to, just you, comatose in your own mind with a sick feeling over you that could have easily been what death itself feels like.
It was like every good feeling that he had ever had was gone, and the bad ones were growing in order to sill the space left behind.
Even after that was all said and done, they had saved their friends, they had stopped Alloy. There was her.
That was never cleared up; that first one came to warn them that more were coming? She wasn't lying.
Then he met one of them... her... in that warehouse. Her name still brought bad memories to him, even now.
Destiny.

They fought. His arm was broken. Pain, suffering, fire, explosions, the smell of napalm. Their sheer power brought the entire warehouse down on their heads.
He was beaten and broken; she walked off, fine.
She thought he was dead, trapped under all that rubble.
All saying she would make them--his friends--pay. That was a month ago. In his head, there she stood in front of him.
Every sickening detail. Never mind her surprisingly attractive face, her long hair. The picture was ruined by that scar. A scar going down the right side of her face, across the corner of her scarlet eye. Those eyes...
Malice and demolition sparked from behind her retinas, and she had that mask over her head now to stare him down.
He could still see those two glowing lights from behind that visor, drilling into his soul.
In her hand, the massive war-axe in her hand, glowing with power.
Everybody else vanished as Jet's body took a knee. He looked up, and saw nobody.
He only saw her.
Jet never figured it out; but they were in his mind now. The embodiment of all the suffering, stress, and chaos had taken the form of the first person he actually lost a battle to; and the person that came the closest to killing him.

*Everything is black.
*There is nobody.
*Only you...
*and her.

Then the messages were gone. The buttons in his mind were gone. Everything was normal again; it felt just like his own universe.
It was only him now. Him alone. No SOUL power to back him up.
Jet drew his sword.
The living embodiment of demolition chuckled, before hefting her own weapon.
The Elemental Masters charged each other, swinging their blades as they clashed in midair.
"Miss me, you damn runt?"
"...Hardly."
The two of them jumped out of the clash, as Destiny flung some of her trademark keychains at him.
Jet dodged the small discs, watching as they exploded in his face.
With little time to recover, there she was, rushing him with her massive axe.
"DIE!!!"

Frisk
True Lab

She shuddered as the memories became more and more vivid…
Her subconscious fading away as she felt a coldness erupt within her. A familiar feeling, but not a welcome. Frisk was suddenly snapped to attention as she dodged to the right with impossible speed as a volley of blue translucent spears slammed into the ground where she’d just been standing.

She wanted to wonder about when she’d started standing, but that was pushed to the back of her mind by an unknown force, so instead, the girl turned her head to glare at the fish monster glaring desperately back, her blue skin seeming to sag. “Damn it... So even THAT power... It wasn't enough...?” Undyne asked, breathing heavily.
Frisk had heard this dialogue a million times over, and before she even realized what she was doing, her blade was slashing through Undyne as her body melted, the monster helpless to do anything as Frisk continued her onslaught, her body moving on its own, unresponsive to Frisk’s desperate pleas to submit and stop fighting.

A pile of dust stood before her.
Frisk stared down at it, clenching her teeth as she again tried to hold back tears. She’d tried to forget it all, the senseless genocide, but something like that doesn’t just leave. It sticks with you forever, clouding your thoughts, haunting your mind. The only thing Frisk had to keep her from going crazy under the mental strain was Sans and his willingness to forgive her. Despite everything she’d done to him… he still helped her.
Now, here she stood again, breaking her most important promise to the skeleton.
No…
No, that wasn’t right…
She couldn’t possibly have done this, no…
Gaster…
Yes, the doctor was behind this. Manipulating her psyche, trying to break her.

The dust faded away as these thoughts crossed her mind, and for a moment, she felt the cold numbness fade, before they returned, stronger than ever as a dark, deep voice echoed off the walls around her. She finally realized that she was completely alone in this blackness.
“why’d you do it?”
Her heart stopped, catching in her throat as a chill ran up her spine. Slowly, the girl turned her head to see Sans standing profile, his head turned to her, his eyes black and empty. His smile was threatening.
“after everything… you’re pretty sick, you know that?” He turned his body to her, his head never moving an inch. “you made a promise… but you broke that. unfortunately for you, i’m gonna break a lot more than promises.” His voice dropped to a growl as he continued to glare at her.

She wanted to tell him it wasn’t her, that someone else was in control… but she remained rooted to the spot, a stranger in her own body. She could do nothing but watch as her body took a step toward the skeleton, who’s grin faded just a hint. “so we’re doin’ this song and dance again, huh? whelp. if there’s anything i’ve ever been good at…” The familiar sound of charging energy could be heard behind her. “it’s killing you.”
She turned, but found she was too slow as the Gaster Blaster fired a white beam, consuming her in it. Her health plummeted, and suddenly…
She was gone.
Frisk stood in front of two buttons. ‘RESET’ and ‘CONTINUE’. She willed her body to move toward RESET, using all of her willpower… but it wasn’t enough. Her body calmly lifted an arm, and pressed down CONTINUE.

To be quite honest, Frisk had only ever feared one thing in her life. That was Sans. She was still afraid of him, thought she’d never admit that out loud. There was just something about him that made him easy to fear… His knowledge of timelines, his ability to see her sins, his ruthlessness in battle… she’d seen just about every side of Sans. She knew him better than his own brother, but that didn’t help her break the ice on the surface. He still had so much to hide that she had no idea about, and he probably wouldn’t reveal anything to her…
Frisk tried to shake her head to clear her thoughts, but her body didn’t move as it fought the skeleton, trying and failing many times over. Somehow, he’d grown in power. He was tearing through her like nothing, and his attacks no longer followed their original pattern she’d grown so accustomed to.

Gaster was the real threat here. This wasn’t Sans, right? Just another… illusion of the doctor. He was still messing with her, she knew that… but no matter what she did, she couldn’t stop her body. It continued on its pointless assault, getting humiliated and decimated by Sans each time around. He hadn’t even been forced to dodge once, his first attack different each time around, making it impossible for her to memorize the attacks.
The more this continued, the more hopeless Frisk began to feel. Maybe everything about Gaster… maybe it had all been a bad dream. Maybe that whole pacifist route had been fake? What if she’d been fighting Sans for eternity?
Time and reality suddenly seemed irrelevant as Frisk started to drown in her own doubts, pushing herself further down as the coldness and rage deep within pushed for the surface…
She began to lose herself in her own blood, her emotions being forced to struggle, shoved deep within her as her grip on her knife suddenly felt welcome.

This was where she belonged.

Jack Noir
Far East Wasteland

He’d been out here in this damn sun, fighting dozens upon dozens of these ridiculous… things. All fell to him, but they were getting increasingly annoying. It’s like there was an endless supply, and they all knew where he was as they just… kept… coming…
Jack slashed apart another aragami whatever before looking about, narrowing his eyes. The desert landscape had been completely destroyed. Craters ranging from the size of small buildings to the size of mountains littered the wasteland. Earth was shattered, and buttes were destroyed. Not that Jack really cared… he was just glad that he was getting a break. Not a single aragami in sight. Finally.

Jack slowly hovered down to the ground, sticking his demon sword back through his abdomen before touching down, ears laid back as he continued to look about. He quickly came to the realization it had been a long while since he’d stopped fighting, and now… he had to admit, despite the utter destruction he’d caused, the view was actually kind of nice. He hadn’t been on a planet like this. It was refreshing, to say the least.
Jack looked down at his only hand, staring at the ring on his finger. How long had he been wearing it? It felt like only hours since he’d killed the Black Queen and taken it from her, but he had no way to tell the time. All he knew was that he had it, and she was dead.
Damn, he hated queens.

Jack turned his head, craning it back slightly to look at the large moon that hung in the blue sky. It was a waning crescent, and seemed… kind of boring. ‘Course, when you’ve lived on a purple moon with towers and cities your whole life, looking at something so bland is bound to seem, well… bland.
He began to ponder and wonder if there were other things on this planet. Interesting things. Things he could take pleasure in. Maybe there was a queen here that he could kill.
Did I mention he hates queens?

Jenna Marbury
Goldenwalk

The street had been abandoned, the city evacuated and vacant. Some residents hadn’t left, however, as they hid in their houses, waiting for the terror to end. Just before something had blasted the radio towers and cut through power lines, Jenna Marbury had been watching the news with her husband Marco, and their son Kyle.
Reports of super-powered fights, rumors that the HeroSquad had been killed by the powerful invaders, and warnings to leave the city. Marco had suggested they get out quickly, but Jenna had voted against it. With what was happening, there would be too much traffic. They’d get stuck in the city. Not to mention they were exposed out there.
She’d won the argument, of course, as they were still in their apartment, the blinds pulled down over the windows, the curtains drawn, the lights off.

The last thing the news chopper had shown was a collection of individuals, before a white beam appeared for a split second on the camera, and the chopper stopped streaming. The news channel cut back to the main reporter, whose mouth was agape in shock, before he began reading an emergency alert.
That had been almost thirty minutes ago. The power had cut out twenty minutes ago. Now, Jenna sat on the couch, her seven-year-old son Kyle curled up in her arms, too young, innocent, and oblivious to understand the gravity of the situation. Even Jenna and Marcus knew too little to comprehend just how much danger they were in.

Jenna just hoped that they could wait this out. They’d go to sleep that night, wake in the morning, and everything would be over. The mother hummed a soft lullaby to her child, holding him close as he dozed off in her arms. Marcus had gone into the bedroom to collect a flashlight, claiming he’d only be a moment. Knowing him, however, he’d be grabbing a stash of chips he had in the room. He didn’t know she knew, but she knew. Thinking about that brought a comforting smile to her face, before she looked up at the ceiling. “Lord, get us through these crazy days.” She muttered, before tilting her head back down and kissing the top of her sons head, his long sandy hair tickling her nose.

Suddenly, she heard a thump from her and Marcus’ room, followed by a thud, then silence, almost as though somebody had fallen. She waited for several moments, expecting to hear her husband call out a reassurance, but there was nothing. Panic began to build in her as she sat there, scenarios running through her mind. Maybe he’d tripped and hit his head on the dresser? Maybe he was just pulling a prank… no, he wouldn’t do that. Not at a time like this.
Slowly, Jenna moved her son out of her lap, gently lying him down on the bed. He laid back, breathing softly as his small chest rose and fell, his arms above his head as he laid there, relaxed. Unaware of the danger he was in.
Jenna too, had no idea of the danger she was in, either.

“Marcus?” Jenna called softly through the dark house as she slowly padded her way to their room, the darkness just light enough that she could make out and identify locations in the apartment. She got no reply, arousing her fears as she moved softly to the door, which was open ajar. “...Mark?” She asked again, slowly pushing the door open to reveal…
A completely black room. Jenna felt her throat tighten painfully as a coldness seeped from the room, almost as though it were a freezer. It was impossibly black, as well. Much darker than anything she’d ever seen before. Her immediate thought was to run. To grab her son and get as far away from that apartment as possible, but her worry over her husband overpowered her fears as she stepped into the room.

It was like stepping into a freezer. The room inside was easily nearly twenty degrees colder than the rest of the house. It was clearly unnatural, not to mention it had been a warm summer day just that afternoon when Jenna had gone to the park with Kyle before Marcus had gotten off work. That seemed like a million years ago, now.
“M-Mark…” Jenna shivered, hugging her body tightly as she tried to look around the room, but could see nothing. Not a thing. She didn’t want to leave, but… she didn’t feel safe here. She needed to get herself and more importantly, Kyle, away from that house.
Whatever was going on outside had reached them.

Jenna quickly turned, about to flee, but in the doorway, she saw a figure standing there. The figure appeared to be a child, and couldn’t be much older than Kyle. It was difficult to tell in the pitch black. “W-what… h-hello?” Jenna asked, her teeth beginning to chatter as the figure didn’t respond for a good few seconds, until it cocked its head to the side. “Looking for your husband, Jenna?” It asked.
The woman’s eyes widened as she took a step back. This child, or whatever it was, stood between her and Kyle. He wasn’t safe, and she understood that. She knew she wasn’t safe either. Whatever this figure was… It had done something to her husband.
“Don’t worry. You’ll see him soon.”

The figure raised something- its arm. In its hand sat-
All thoughts going through the mind of the mother ceased as a blast of red tore her apart, her body going flying back into the room, mangled and bloodied, tearing in half from the sheer power of the attack.

Kyle jerked awake with a start, slowly sitting up, rubbing his eyes. “Mommy?” He croaked, looking about the dark living room, before watching as the same figure that had killed his mother and father began to approach him. “Mommy isn’t here anymore.” Chara assured, her eyes beginning to glow a deep, unnatural shade of red. “Daddy isn’t either.” Her knife began to glow as red as her eyes as she continued to slowly step toward the young child.

“Soon… very soon… well… you won’t be too.”

Jet
The Subconscious
VS Destiny

Dodging explosions and narrowly avoiding the sharp blade of her axe, Jet could only think about how accurately her parents named her.
Alone in a room of complete darkness, with nothing but a sword and an eye, he was fighting Destiny.
And to be completely honest...
Jet felt as if he was truly fighting destiny itself.
With every swipe or her axe, with every toss of a grenade, the distance between them grew shorter and shorter yet.
But there was something Gaster had failed to realize.

Jet wasn't affected in any way by the memories he had been shown.

He was fighting like ehe always had, taking every possible opening. He diverted every shot, and thrust his sword at every small flaw in her attacks. Here, all cards were on the table. They really were doubles.
Two sides of the same coin, fighting over dominance.
Jet rolled under her axe, ramming her chin with a shoulder.
"Damn pest!" she muttered, kicking him back.
He touched down, flinging three knives at her.
With that attack, a memory of the teammate who wielded those knives flashed before him.
She was on the couch, losing life.

Jet merely shook it off and pulled out one of his guns.

Watching as Destiny knocked the kunai out of the air, Jet fired a few rounds of his small pistol.
A bullet grazing her shoulder, Destiny narrowly avoided the other two shots as she came in for an attack.
The tail of the axehead whirred with technology, extending so that the entire front of the weapon was covered by a long blade.
Jet rose his weapon, blocking the slash.
A memory of being forced onto his knees emerged. He saw his life force being ripped from his body, and began fading away, as he once had. He was helpless. He was useless.
But he wasn't anymore.

Jet pushed back at Destiny's onslaught, keeping her at bay. Barely.
Their blades were inches from their necks.
"You've gotten better. But how much have you improved?"
"More than you."
"Why don't we put that to rest?"
She pushed at him with her left arm, her right arm reaching into her pocket.
Jet pushed back, in a fruitless attempt to get her off of him.
She pulled her arm out of her pocket, slamming Jet in the gut with her right arm.
Almost falling to his knees, he was too disoriented to stop Destiny as she pushed against his weapon, and he fell to the floor.
Destiny walked away, smiling.
"What the--get back... here..."
Something on him started to glow. Jet looked down, realizing that punch wasn't supposed to be a punch at all.
She had tagged him.
One of her chrome keychains was stuck to his jacket.
Quickly, he sliced off the section the keychain was stuck to, flinging it at his opponent.
Turning, Destiny could only realize what Jet had done as the grenade exploded in her face.
Taking a minute to calm his nerves, Jet stood. His jacket was screwed up, revealing his t-shirt. It was emblazoned with Master Wu's emblem, as well as several other smaller patterns, such as Midoriya's face mask, Decidueye's hood, a Pokeball, Jaune Arc's emblem, ...you get the idea.
Breathing, Jet calmed himself.

"Clever son of a bitch."
The smoke cleared...
And she was alive.
Jet drew his sword once more, taking another shot.
"What the..."
"Empty, I know." She held up a magazine.
Destiny's helmet and upper chest armor were gone. Her dark brown hair blended into a faded scarlet, and her face was surprisingly attractive, past the stoic look of am assassin on her face. Her eyes were a piercing scarlet, and the pattern in her retinas looked like hundreds of sharp, neon orange needles. They were wild, and she had a slight smirk on her face.
She tore off the remaining shards of armor on her chest, revealing a gray tank top with a familiar spear emblem.
"You can't kill me worth my own explosions dumbass. But I have to say, that was a smart move."
She cast the scarlet armor to the side. "But when everything is said and done, you're still just a childish runt."
"Speak for yourself, Pyrrha Nikos," He replied, in reference to her top.
"Shut it. Let's see where we left of the last time we did this."
She held out her hands, and Elemental power surged into her palms.
They started swirling into two spheres, winding and splurting out small clouds of smoke. She combined them, and cupped the dodgeball-sized sphere into her left hand.
The same move she pulled last time.
Now mad, Jet concentrated.
Armor formed around his skin, this time even more detailed. A large crown sat on the forehead, and a large plate coveted his face. Small pauldrons sat on his shoulders, and a sword manifested on his left arm.
Screaming, they charged at each other, their attacks colliding in a shower of fire and crystal shards.

She was back in control. Yet, at the same time, she wasn’t. She knew this was wrong, but she couldn’t stop herself. The motions were just so fluid and natural… fighting and killing had become second nature to her.
Frisk lifted her forearm, a red barrier appearing in front of her just as a blaster shot a beam at her, slamming into her shield. The barrier held, but began to crack, much to her surprise. Sans wasn’t this powerful… she was reminded of Gaster once again. Of course. This was his power.

The blaster finished its assault as Frisk took off with a burst of speed, dodging a hail of bones that came raining down on her position, slashing with her knife, producing a scarlet slash that obliterated any other bones headed for her, before setting her sights on Sans as his first attack came to a close- with a dozen blasters appearing around him, firing simultaneously. She lifted her barrier once again, but this time, the sheer amount of blasters overwhelmed her as the barrier was torn through, and she was swallowed by a beam of light, followed by the familiar sound of her SOUL shattering.
Gritting her teeth, Frisk slammed her fist on ‘CONTINUE’.

She appeared back in the dark room, Sans glaring at her through blank eye sockets. She wanted to say sorry, but her desire to fight… and kill… overwhelmed her as she took off once again, dodging the blasters now, but finding it was much more difficult on top of having to dodge bones. She neared Sans, pulling back the knife for a slash-
And a bone tore straight through her head.

She pressed ‘CONTINUE’ again.
And again.
And again.
And again.
Her frustration continued to grow as she found herself at a stalemate, unable to do anything to the skeleton, and he was unable to stop her from coming back. She appeared once again, how many times she’d died during this, she’d lost count.
The child prepared her next attack- until she saw it. The scarred, unsettling face of Gaster off to the corner of the room she was in. Suddenly, as though yanked back by her collar, she felt herself pulled out of her stupor, realizing what was happening.
This wasn’t her. Not any more. She had to fight the doctor’s influence. This Sans, too, wasn’t the real one. He hadn’t said another string of dialogue the entire time. His attacks were far too powerful. He was much too ruthless.

*You remember your mistakes.
*You remember the bad things.
*You hold them close.
*They’re a reminder of what to prevent in yourself.
*You remember your friends.
*You remember your accomplishments.
*You hold them dear.
*They’re a reminder of the things worth fighting for.
*This time, you have to SAVE yourself.
*The others, too, need your help.
*You remember your promise.
*Your AT and DF sharply increased!
*You’re filled with...
*DETERMINATION.

Feeling a surge of power coursing through her, Frisk dropped the knife, letting it clatter to the unseen ground as she stared at the fake Sans. She wouldn’t waste her breath.
She shot from her spot on the ground, dodging toward Sans as several blasters appeared, but she feinted left, evading them without trouble, as well as dodging another volley of bones. Sans was the only obstacle between her and Gaster.
The cold clutches on her SOUL was fading as she felt a warm feeling inside, remembering all of the happy memories. Hugging Toriel as she called her mom… Lifting Papyrus’ hat to find spaghetti underneath… Smashing tomatoes with Undyne… Sans placing hotdogs on her head… eating a spider donut with Muffet… Dancing across a stage with Mettaton… assuring Alphys that she was a good person… giving Asgore hope… hugging Asriel before saying goodbye…
A circular red barrier appeared before her as she slammed into Sans before he could react. The moment she hit him, his body erupted into a cloud of black smoke, a little lighter in color compared to the surrounding blackness.
She turned, glaring up at the cloud as it began to swirl and coalesce, forming into a figure. The figure turned out to be the doctor as he appeared, eyes narrowed, staring down at her. “Impressive.” He said. “I underestimated the lengths of your determination… again.” He paused, before his eyes flashed a deep shade of crimson scarlet. “However, I myself have some of my own determination. I’m intrigued... I wonder how much longer your determination can last.”

Her options appeared in front of her. With a start, she came to the sudden realization that her entire conflict with the fake Sans… that had just been the pre-battle.

The REAL battle had only just begun.

Sgt. Johnson
Mountain Range - Forest

“Damn you.”
The sergeant bit down on his cigar as he pumped another combat form full of lead straight to the chest, ripping the creature apart, ending it. He opened the barrel of the M90, slapping in another shell, reloading it. Smoke drifted up from his cigar as he worked, before he lifted the shotgun up and resting it on his shoulder, and plucked the cigar from his mouth, letting out a puff. He could still hear the sound of gunfire reverberating off the mountains, but it was hard to pinpoint through the echo. However, he found the sounds were getting louder, meaning he was getting closer. Hopefully, Carolina would already be there. If not, then he’d have another problem on his hands he wasn’t in the mood to fix.

Johnson quickly moved into the cover of a thick tree as he saw the trees ahead rustling, indicating the Flood were ahead. He waited with bated breath for a moment, before peeking his head out. The tree were still moving. He could make out the forms of the Flood jumping from tree to tree or running through the forest on the ground, all headed one direction.
He smirked to himself, taking another puff of his cigar. That was his ticket to the action. The marines would be where the Flood was headed.
Biting down on his cigar, Johnson cracked his neck before stepping out from behind cover, and heading in the same direction as the Flood forms.

Carolina, Church
Mountain Range - Clearing

They’d been fighting this battle for almost half an hour, but the Flood just kept on coming, their bodies beginning to pile up, making small mountains of their own. The stench was awful, even Carolina could start to smell it through her helmet. She didn’t know how the marines could stand the stench as well as they appeared to be. She lifted her SMG’s, firing another burst of shots into the hundredth combat form that day.

Ammunition was running low, and morale was beginning to sink as the situation began to appear more and more desperate. However, just as Marines began to shout; “I’m out of ammo!”, the Flood suddenly stopped, turned, and fled back into the woods. “What the hell…” Carolina muttered, narrowing her eyes. “That doesn’t look good.” A marine to her right gulped as another reloaded his assault rifle. “This is bad, real bad.” He stated.

A lone figure emerged from the treeline. All the armed individuals raised their weapons, but hesitated as Carolina called for a cease fire. “Damn. That guy is tough. How many Flood do you think he killed out there?” Church asked as Sgt. Johnson approached the group, stepping over, around, and atop the many Flood carcasses that littered the ground. “They’re regrouping, preparing for a second assault.” Johnson announced. “We need to move.”
“Are you sure?” Carolina asked. The sergeant gave a nod. “Mhm. I’ve dealt with these assholes before. We need to clear this mountain. Fast.”
“Everyone, let’s move out!” Carolina shouted. “Collect everything you can, we’re not getting ambushed by the Flood.”
“You heard the lady. Move it like you got a purpose!” Johnson ordered, a slight smirk on his face despite the circumstances. “You know, for a dimensional-travelling-badass-lady-spartan… you’re not too shabby.”

Miranda Keyes
UNSC “Horizon” - Bridge

“Coming out of slipspace, ma’am.”
Miranda directed her attention to the front windows of the bridge, watching as the foggy blue-like vortex of slipspace disappeared. The UNSC ship appeared in orbit of planet Reach, several more appearing alongside it. Five ships under Miranda’s command in total. The first thing the alliance saw were several Covenant ships engaged in a battle with a much larger UNSC fleet- which was getting demolished by only three Covenant capital ships. Miranda cursed under her breath, having completely forgotten about the threat of the Covenant in the wake of the Flood’s galactic assimilation.

“Patch us through to the fleet.” Miranda ordered one of her orderlies, a stout young man with a wide toad-like face. “Aye-aye, ma’am.” He nodded, typing something into the console before the screen in front of Miranda changed. It was originally showing schematics of Reach as it scanned the Covenant ships and the UNSC fleet, until it all disappeared in favor of a face appearing on screen. “This is Fleet Admiral Banks. Identify yourself.” The man ordered. He appeared old- much older than Miranda’s father had been when he’d died. Understandable, of course. The young hardly ever became Fleet Admirals.
“Commander Miranda Keyes. Service number 15972-19891 MK.” Miranda answered quickly, eyeing the Covenant ships as one of them started to turn slowly to face the UNSC ships that had flanked them.

“Good to hear from you, Commander. Any word on what happened at Earth?” Admiral Banks asked. Miranda didn’t really find this to be a good time to talk, but answered regardless. “Gone. Flood took it over. There’s little left.”
Admiral Banks’ jaw set as he turned away for a moment, before he gave a nod, his eyes glistening. “Right. Uh… did you say ‘Flood’, Commander?” Miranda gave him a nod. “New enemy. Common between us and the Covenant. I have reason to believe they’re headed to Reach next.”
“Understood, Commander. Think we could reason with these Covenant bastards if we’ve got a common enemy, then?”
Miranda thought about that for a moment. It would be monumental to have three Covenant capital ships in their fleet for support. If there was a way she could get through to the Covenant… She decided it was worth a shot. “Stand by. I’m going to try and establish contact.” She told Banks, who gave a nod before his face disappeared, and the orderly with the wide face began typing away at his computer, attempting to establish a connection with the Covenant. There were a few moments of silence as Miranda waited with bated breath, until the orderly looked back at her in surprise. “They uh… patching them through.”

This time, the face of a hulking brute appeared on the screen. “Human.” He snarled, his gruff voice booming through the speakers of her comms. “You wish to give your dying words?”
“No.” Miranda replied, narrowing her eyes as she stared into his digital ones. “I’m requesting a cease fire and an alliance between us. The-”
She was cut off as the brute roared in laughter. The sound of other brutes laughing could be heard, before he let out a grunt, leaning in to his screen. “Why should I, puny human?” He sneered.
“The Flood. They’re coming here, and none of us are safe. We’ll be able to fend them off better if we work together.” She replied coolly, crossing her fingers anxiously. If this didn’t work… It would take a lot of firepower and ships to take out those capital ships. If and when they succeeded, the Flood would arrive to crush a severely weakened fleet. She couldn’t allow that. She wouldn’t.

The brute furrowed his hairy brow, looking away from her gaze as he thought for a moment, his sneer being replaced with a frown. “Why should I believe you, human?”
Miranda folded her arms. “My home world was just destroyed by the Flood. The Ark is under their control. Your prophets and my generals are all dead. We can’t fight the Flood if we’re fighting each other, too.”
The brute stared back for another lingering moment, before replying, his voice less harsh, not as condescending. “...Your words are persuasive, human. Order your fleet to cease their assault. Then we’ll talk.” With that, his face disappeared.
Miranda let out a breath of relief. “Give the order.” She told the orderly, letting her arms drop at her sides before taking a seat in the captain’s seat.

Rebium
Covenant “Harbinger of Reverence” - Bridge

Rebium watched as the female human’s face disappeared from the screen, before barking out an order to several jiralhanae. Atriox had taken over his entire fleet, and left Rebium with only three, before ordering him to head to the human world of ‘Reetch’. The very same one Rebium had led an assault on weeks prior.
He didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. Atriox had taken over the entire Covenant fleet. He feared the larger jiralhanae, though he’d never admit that out loud. He didn’t want to seem weak. Weakness among the jiralhanae usually proved to be a fatal mistake. Other could take advantage of you that way.

“This is blasphemy.” One of the jiralhanae on the bridge growled, glaring at Rebium. “First laying down for Atriox, now for human scum?” Rebium let out a snarl as he stomped toward the jiralhanae, quickly lifting his arm and pinning the creature to the wall, on the verge of crushing his windpipe. “The Flood consumed our brothers and sisters on the Ark.” Rebium growled. “The human was right, much as I hate to admit it. The only way we can hope to survive is an alliance.” His snarl turned into a sneer. “At least, until the Flood are dealt with. When that time comes, we will turn on the humans and crush them in their weakened state.” He let go of the jiralhanae, who slumped to the ground, clutching his throat, gasping for air as Rebium took a step back. “We cannot tear each other apart. That was a mistake the hierarchs made by turning their own Covenant against each other. That’s how the parasite took over High Charity. We will not allow that to happen again.” He turned away, stomping back toward his spot on the bridge. “United we live. Divided… we die.”

He stood there for a moment as the human fleet ceased firing. Both sides stood in a stalemate for several minutes, before Rebium opened a comm back up with the female human. Her face appeared on-screen. So smooth and young, it was hideous. “You have earned yourself an audience with me, human. Now... Talk.”

Vaga ‘Sadum
Sangheilios

“Sangheilios will not fall today!”
Vaga ‘Sadum roared to his army, raising his energy sword high above his head, the blade glowing a translucent purple. “We will crush the parasite beneath our boots, and push them back to the hole they crawled out of. We are the will of the prophets, and their will is the destruction of the parasites!” He lowered his arm, turning from the army of sangheili warriors to the approaching capital ship, smoke billowing from its hull as it continued on its collision course with one of the ancient, sacred temples of Sangheilios.

When the ship crashed, it crashed hard, slamming into the ground over a mile away from the army, throwing up massive clouds of dirt that mixed with the black smoke, the ground rumbling beneath their feet as it began to slide along the ground, crashing into a massive, ancient temple, sending rubble exploding away. The ship continued to slid along the ground, creating a massive crater in its wake, before coming to stop with a metallic groan. Vaga had stood his ground, even as the ship had neared as close as it had, now only several dozen feet away from his army and himself. “Destroy anything that moves!” Vaga roared as two massive anti-air turrets nearby opened fire on the hull of the battered ship, blasting through with only a few shots, the plasma ripping through the metal, burning it. Vaga led the charge, his army storming the capital ship just as hundreds upon hundreds of Flood began to stream out of the hole the anti-air turrets had produced.

The sangheili army met the Flood head-on, colliding with intensity as swords slashed, Flood being hacked apart. Shields were depleted, and those unfortunate enough became infected by the parasite, assimilating into the Flood’s ranks.
Vaga hacked and slashed, tearing apart Flood after Flood, but they just kept coming. He drove his blade through yet another combat form, before a second leaped toward him, swinging its whip-like arm, which slammed into the Sangheili Commander, lifting him off the ground and hurling him back several feet, his shields completely depleted.
He landed with a dull thud on his back, skidding for about a foot, before twirling his body around to roll back up to his feet, slashing his energy sword through an infection form just as it tried to make at a jump for his neck.
That had been too close.

“Keep fighting!” Vaga yelled, a feeling of desperation gripping his gut as his army had already been reduced to half its size, and Flood were still streaming out of the ship. This could very well be the end of Sangheilios.
“Ragh! Call in the Phantoms!” The sangheili ordered into his comms as he tore another combat form in half. On his command, nearly a hundred Phantoms appeared over the horizon, bee-lining it for the capital ship, humming as they went, each one jam packed with more sangheili warriors. No matter what, they weren’t losing their home.

Not today.

The Wilds, The Cliff
"...I understand you more than I thought I might, then." Keda said. He looked down. "My tribe... they're my family as well. The hunt must have gone well for them after I left. And I suppose you could call the daily struggle to survive an 'adventure'... But..."
Keda raised his head, looking into Erza's eyes. He could see the sadness and longing in them...
"I'm sure we'll all be back with our families at the end of this." Keda smiled.

Camelot Castle, Throne Room
"Sonic is fine." Sonic chuckled. "Though the Knights and my Advisor insist on referring to me as 'my liege' or 'my majesty'..." Sonic looked towards Percival and Gawain, who remained rigid. THIS was the point of contention between the Knights of the Round Table...
"I'm certain." Merlina nodded. "I'm not sure quite what it is about her, but the magical power seems to be coming from her eyes..."
"My... eyes?" Ruby pondered. "Ozpin had an odd fixation on them too, when we first met..."
"We can figure that out later." Tony said. "Do you have enough room for our group to stay at least the night?"
"We've got tons of room in the refugee camp!" Sonic nodded. "But why only one night...?"
"For one, we want to return home." Stark replied. "For another thing... we're on a mission."
"A mission?"
"We're looking for an android called Z."

Camelot Castle, Serena's Room
"Oh, I am feeling pretty hungry!" Serena nodded. "All the food I have on me are Poképuffs, and those are for the Pokémon..."

Camelot Cave
"I'll whip up some Feris Quotelettas, then." Jin said as Lora passed him a pan from her bag as well as two Weeping Flours, two Sour Avocados and one Feris Beastmeat. He got to work instantly. Robin merely sat down, watching him.
"Still wishing you could cook?" Lucina chuckled, sitting beside him.
"W-well, uh... yes." Robin admitted nervously.

Dreamland, Castle Dedede (Infinity Rift)
"Power of the Multiverse, become my own." Maple whispered, before breaking into a shout. "DISPLACEMENT!"
The rune circle roared into a typhoon of mystic energy before the group vanished.

Dreamland, Green Greens (Infinity Rift)
A magical typhoon crashed into the wide, open plains as Maple's group landed. "Phew... we should be safe." Maple let out a deep breath. "That took more mana out of me than I was expecting..."
"So uh... hey!" Alpha put a hand behind his head. He figured he should be the friendly one. "It's nice to meet you. My name's Michael. But, uh, call me Alpha. These guys are Maple, Hat Kid, Kris, Lilac and Hornet. Your group has Shantae, Shovel Knight, Bomberman, Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey, right?"
Kris merely walked off a bit, searching the horizon for any sort of pursuit from the Waddle Dees.

Sequin Land, Risky's Ship
Rottytops nodded. "Allllllright then! Just remember those brains are my payment~"
"Set a course for Mermaid Falls!" Risky ordered her crew. The Tinkerbats abandoned their defense in favor of scrambling about the ship to sail towards the Falls.
Vriska asked her question to Rottytops, who turned to look at her new teammate. "Weeeeeeeell, I'm pretty smart for a zombie, y'know! There's a lot of the brainless ones I've had to whack a few times, but my brothers and I are some sort of... I dunno, super zombie?"

Specter's Ship
The moment Meta had transformed back into his regular form, Cut Man had instantly jumped back. "WHAT THE SCRAP IS THAT THING?!" he exclaimed, drawing two- wait, no. ONE Rolling Cutter. Because his right arm STILL wasn't working with the Variable Weapons System.

Okay. Dad's good. That only leaves- "WHOA!" Hope said, quickly flying out of the way as the debris reached her. She blasted a few roof fragments apart to manage the pieces better. "Okay, Scott. Like I was saying..." Hope began to fly around the Omnidroid, resuming her ineffective assault of blasting it with lasers. "You've seen this thing in a movie, right? How do we beat it?"

Ultra Space
[NOTE: From this point on, Necrozma is to be treated as a boss character that CAN be autoed by active opponents.]
Necrozma roared as it was blasted by fire, ice and lightning. It soared up to the air, firing off several lasers. Zan and Dracula quickly dodged them, with Malos using Monado Shield to keep himself, Plague, Grima and Papyrus safe from harm. The beast flew higher into the sky. It seemed to be preparing an attack...

Goldenwalk Business District
"GWEN!"
Nathan let out a cry of shock as X suddenly moved into a nosedive. The android landed on his feet, safely catching Gwen as Nathan rolled. The soldier drew his gun. "Who's there?!"
"So that's the famed Spider-Sense?" a deep voice chuckled. "Impressive... I was aiming for a direct hit to the android. But oh well, I suppose the same trick can't always work twice... Two androids, two scenarios."
The gears in X's head began to turn about that remark. "IF YOU'VE DONE ANYTHING TO Y, I SWEAR I'LL...!"
"Oh please." The voice laughed.
"You're too caught up to concern yourself with her."
X suddenly turned in the nick of time, raising his arm to block the metal tail as it crashed against his plating. It even managed to scratch it...
Nathan quickly unloaded fire, causing Scorpio to leap back, his tail moving to whack the shots to the side. "Nathan McAllen... Through connections alone, you're the most dangerous one in this entire world."
"Flattered." Nathan growled before firing another shot, this time with Alpha's help aiming. Scorpio was only barely able to dodge the shot, as it singed his hair. Before the commander could offer a witty reply, X was on him, throwing a punch right towards his face.

"WAHAHAH! What a payout! That crystal was worth something after all!"
Wario and Waluigi were laughing together as they emerged from a bank. They had simply bypassed the various men they had seen, walking out with MASSIVE bags of cash. Wario had two sacks in his two hands, while Waluigi carried a bag of bills over his shoulder.
"I think that's a bit too much money to casually carry with us... wherever we're going to go." Mona sighed, following the pair. "I don't recognize this place whatsoever."
"Yeah..." Wario stopped for a moment, looking about. "This ain't Mushroom City. Or any of the other cities I'd recognize."
"Weh, Wario! What's happening over there?"
Wario turned to look where Waluigi had pointed, noticing a group of men working on setting up some sort of... cannon?
"Maybe they could help us figure out what's happening here?" Mona asked.
"Sure, let's try it!" Wario said, dumping the two bags he had onto Mona and Waluigi. The pair were crushed by the bags, way too heavy for them to carry. "Hey, buster! Where's this place?" Wario asked, walking up to the group.
The soldiers quickly turned to him, drawing their guns. "Mark as hostile?"
"No hostile actions taken. But we can't take chances. FIRE!"
"Wah?"
Wario suddenly covered his face with his arms as he was blasted by a wave of plasma shots, his clothes becoming torn. Mona watched in shock, using the bag as cover from any stray blasts.
When the soldiers lowered their guns to reload, Wario lowered his arms, scowling at the soldiers.
"All I wanted were directions. But then you went and attacked me. Wario is many things... But he's not merciful."
THOOM
Mona freed herself just in time to see the large crater Wario had created through smashing the gun and the ground in a single punch, the unconscious - and likely VERY wounded - soldiers scattered across the street - one was even halfway through a window.
Wario walked over and plucked up the bags he had carried before, allowing Waluigi to scramble to his feet and right his posture - with some help from Mona. "Well, they were less than helpful." Wario groaned. "Let's see if we can't find anyone else more willing to help out!"

Training Room - "Ruined Japan"
"Th-thank you..." the woman smiled. Then she let out a cry. "LOOK OUT!"
Suddenly, three Zygotes flew down towards Rick, their mouths wide with hunger.

THE VOID
"...what?"
Silver began to process this. Everyone... everyone was alive? Even Blaze?
And this was the real Gaster. His true form. He looked... weak. Pitiable, even.
And...
He needed Silver's HELP?
With the Time Stone.
Silver couldn't help himself. As he lay there, on the "ground", he began to slowly chuckle. "Isn't... that funny?"

True Lab
"Please, Blaze! Stop it!"
"You won't go through with it. You CAN'T! You're a hero, like that goody two-shoes boyfriend of yours!"
"Blaze, vhat are you doing?!"
"Blaze, no!"
"AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WON'T?!"
Blaze was no longer in the True Lab. No, she was at the peak of a destroyed skyscraper. Behind her, a large, destroyed machine. To her left, Professor von Schlemmer and Gold the Tenric. To her left, Silver, on his knees and wounded.
In her hand, held over the open air and the five hundred foot fall below, was Doctor Nega Robotnik.
"Blaze, he doesn't...! Not even he deserves this!" Silver groaned, slowly trying to pull himself up. "He... he needs a trial, he needs...!"
"And you think the Council will give him one?! He has them in his damn pocket!" Blaze growled.
"Heh... heheheh. So you think of yourself as some sort of vigilante...?" Nega asked with a grin. His eyes were filled with fear. "I'll tell you one thing, Blaze. For how headstrong and fierce you are, not even YOU could go through with cold-blooded, cruel murder."
"Cruel would be burning you in half and leaving you to bleed out. The impact will be quick."
Ignoring the cries of her friends, Blaze let go of Nega's shirt.

Blaze began to breathe heavy. Heavier... She dropped to her knees. Her chest felt heavy, her lungs...
She had put this all behind her. Nega HADN'T died. Mephiles had...
Blaze let out a cry as her brain was racked with memories. Painful ones of a dead, ruined future.
Even before meeting Silver, even when she was far too young, she had done terrible things...
That burned, scarred face filled her mind as her hands hit the ground.

"Is that all you've got?"
Blaze's eyes opened wide as she raised her head, looking ahead to the smug bastard in front of her. A virus from an alternate dimension, who had taken the body of Shadow the Hedgehog and corrupted it for his own vile ends.
Mephiles.
Blaze dodged to the side as a massive spike of crystal rose up from underneath. She threw her hands forward, firing a blast of fire.
Mephiles blocked it effortlessly, of course. Behind him, she could now see Silver and Shard, both unconscious on the ground.
But now, she had a chance to finish what she started back then.
She could finish HIM.
Get REVENGE.

This was where she belonged.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Name: Pipotron Meta
Location: Specter’s Ship

K-Krak isn’t responding, Gari...! Could he be engaged or maybe even d-defeated, Gari! Impossible! Plan B, Gari...

Before Meta spoke, Cutman audaciously insulted his apperance. Meta was taken aback, grumbling and balling his tiny hands.

“Excuse me, Gari?! I’m beautiful, Gari! Maybe even-“

Before he could finish his thought, Cutman drew out a rolling cutter, his right arm seeming to try the same thing but to no avail. Meta blinked several times, his eyes racing around.

“Oh...I should really....GO, GARI!”

Pipotron Meta all of a sudden bolted toward the elevator they had just left from, slamming against buttons to take him to a specific floor.

“C’mon, C’mon Gari!”

Name: Hiro, Kale, Kyuseishu & Keyblade Trinity Squadron
Location: Specter's Ship

Hiro stumbled immediately, as news of Kyuseishu's apparent "status" on the situation. He gripped his Keyblade as he drove it into the wall to try and find his footing as he tried to shuffle forward; the fatigue and damage all too evident as even this simple act seemed taxing which had not escaped Kyuseishu's notice as the spectral Avatar looked on.

"You seem to be in a rush. Maybe you should slow down, take a breather...it seems you are having trouble as it is." Kyuseishu said with only the faintest touch of sarcasm as Hiro grit his teeth while he continued to shuffle forward against the wall.

"Shut up....I have to get to her. I have to save her...save them." Hiro replied, even as blood dripped from his forehead that he worked to wipe away as Kyuseishu looked on only with the shake of his head.

"A noble effort. Though I wonder if it is one rooted in virtue or simply the selfish desire to not be branded "failure" again?"

"Shut up!"

"I mean the guilt has to be overbearing. You perceive my acts as evil yet your actions are the ones who have put those you care about in harm's way..."

"I said shut up! I want to save them cause it's the right thing to do!"

"No, you are blaming yourself and want to save them so the guilt doesn't drown you..."

"CURE!"
Hiro tapped into what sliver of magical reserve he had left and used the healing spell on himself. Soon enough, several surface wounds would heal up which helped Hiro get steady legs....only to fall to his knees as he vomited on the spot. Clearly forcing that spell had some side effects as his body was tested once more. None the less, he'd wipe his mouth as he worked to get back on his feet while he glanced back at Kyuseishu with a glare; starring daggers into his expressionless enemy.

"So long as I breath, I will make certain to protect allies and those close to me. After I save everyone here, and I will save everyone, I will find you; no matter what crack you are hiding on here. Mark my words!"

-----------
The Omnidroid quickly adjusted to Ant-Man's efforts, as he used a free leg to slam and stick into the ground to prevent the giant from tossing him while he retracted an arm to try to slam into Ant-Man's shoulder. If this blow connected it would hopefully cause him to let go of its own legs and allow it the chance to use one to slam into his chest to drive him back.

Though it had not forgotten its primary purpose as it turned its head and armed the head laser at the prone Flynn as the aim was to blast the demon slayer right in the chest.

-----------
Kale let out a groan as the two powerful currents of the replica Hiros slammed into her chest, the appearance of her "friend" had stalled her for the necessary moment needed for the attacks to land as the Berserker was pushed back. Only momentarily, as the lifeless motions of the pair combined with her earlier rage had been enough to shake it off as she began to advance; her sheer might pushed against the wind with grit teeth as she made one thunderous step after another towards the duplicates.

"Fire."
Only for Kale's advance to halt as the two wind currents had been set ablaze and the fire streams slammed into her body which knocked her back a step and helped stall for the artificial Hiros; as the two subordinate members of the Trinity used flame spells to light that powerful spark while the leader charged his Keyblade as he seemed to have a unique idea in mind.

Name: Dipper, Rave, Star, Erza
Location: The Wilds

As the group walked, it appeared the path that they were on was a long ways from civilization and it grew dark. It had not taken a genius to guess the problem with that though Dipper was clear to point it out first.

"Um....maybe we should set up camp?" Dipper said though how they'd make stable camp in the middle of nowhere remaind to be seen. Though it appeared that Star had an idea as she beamed a smile.

"Oh no need. With my handy dandy wand here we can all camp in there. Little magic world, with beds and shelter and fun games! Believe me not as cramped as you might imagine." Star said as she showed her wand and made her proposal to the group though Raven had an eyebrow raised.

"So, if we do that. The wand will just be out here alone? What happens if someone...or something, takes or breaks it. So shouldn't someone be left to guard it?" Raven preposed as Star sensed this and had a dismissive wave.

"Nah, and leave one of us alone in the cold. I'll just put the wand in a nice and safe place for the night." Star countered.

As Rex finished his sentence, a hand appeared and reached out for his collar as the Mage Knight aimed to pull Rex close while stared daggers through him off that implication that she was in no hurry to get back. The intensity within the cave rose as she glared at Rex as for the moment Keda's sympathy passed her by.

"I didn't mention it because it was a personal matter, and given the situations we've been in a lot has passed since. I made my intentions clear before your arrival but to bring you up to speed...never, ever presume I desire to remain away from the Guild or my home for any period again. Understand?"

------------
Name: Yang & Caulifla
Location: Camelot

"So um....Raiden friends of yours?"

Yang decided she was too curious about the new arrivals, the second cyborg included, and went to a guy she did know to inquire about the others. Though there was just something about this one individual that gave her the creeps; she made a mental note she'd have to keep an eye on him for her sister's sake.

Though she heard the name Z mentioned as her head snapped back to his highness with an eyebrow raised as Tony began to explain their situation to the kind.

"Some creep we think might have warped us here from our homes and tried to capture us. Real jerk, but a big threat all the same." Yang further added for some context to the king.

-----
"Ha!"

Caulifla, as her sensed got used to tracking his Ki and sensing his movements, anticipated yet again he used that awesome move to get a drop on her as she fired a ki blast on the ground and used the explosive momentum to shoot up and over Lancelot to avoid the bulk of the strike.

Bulk being key, as she had not reacted quickly to avoid a graze along her back which caused the Saiyan the wince. Either way, she aimed to fight through the pain as her plan was to wrap behind Lancelot and use her newfound power increase to launch a lightning chope to the neck to stun them then apply a choke-hold if she had been successful.

-----------
Name: Toph, Lucario
Location: Goldenwalk

"Oh rich coming from yo..." Toph said, though her trash talk had been cut off as not only did Chara manage to just escape her hold but now she began to cause the tunnel to rumble.

In an instant, Toph slammed her hands to the wall and dug her feet into the ground as she began to use Earth Bending to try and keep the tunnel from dropping down to kill them all. The visible strain and gritted teeth reflections of the sheer effort something like this required as she gave it her all.

"A-anyone...g-got...a-any..i-i-ideas!? C-can't hold this....up...f-forever!"

-----
Lucario, who had kept pace with the van on foot just as he had insisted, came to a stop with the van as the Aura Pokemon gazed ahead at several figures that made up these "robbers", both those of living that emitted an aura and those artificial that did not as the "leader" of their plan which caused him to figuratively roll the eyes.

"If your aim was not a direct engagement initially, then why put yourselves in direct open view of the enemy? I doubt they are willing to show us such restraint." Lucario replied, having been a former partner of Sir Aaron he knew about battle commands and this seemed like a tactical oversight to it as its paws became coated in the blue Aura energy while it struck a battle ready stance.

----------
Name: Akame & Bakugo
Location: Yharnam

"What the hell is that!?" Bakugo cused as already he readied his gauntlets and faced the demonic beast before them as Akame already drew her blade and gazed upon it with her usual cold but cool expression.

In a world with Danger Beasts, she had been used to such unearthly sights.

With that, the young assassin charged ahead as she aimed to get underneath the beast as she aimed to deliver one good slash around the foot. This beast seemed to be made of bone, so no blood for Murasame to use for the one shot kill but it was still an Imperial Arms so it should be able to do damage against this beast.

Bakugo himself jumped up and prepared an explosive palm strike right to its face as he preferred the direct and bold approach.

-----------
Name: Ogremon
Location: Catgirl Universe

"What's it to you!? If I am a lone Digimon or was or am with a Tamer it is my business not yours!" Ogremon spat with some sudden aggression at the simple question Doug had asked him which seemed to strike a cord with the warrior Digimon before he had a huff as he turned his attention to the machine and the familiar crystal presented to him...

"Then you can use this to get me home!?" Ogremon asked a bit naturally impatient about the entire ordeal.

-----------
Name: Katsu
Location: Dream Land (Green Greens)

Katsu and company arrived as they had been successfully warped away from Dedede Castle to the Green Greens as they took a moment to process that before these new arrivals introduced themselves. And oddly made it clear they knew everyone there by name which was amazing to Maya and disturbing to Phoenix if their expressions had been anything to go by.

Though Katsu was more curious.

"You mentioned my name earlier, not that I don't appreciate the fame or anything but how do you know about us?" Katsu asked the group as he had been too curious about the details of how they knew him. Now that the immediate danger had passed he desired to know more.

Talon and Macy
Camelot

The two soldiers wandered through lush fields, Macy admiring the scenery, Talon looking for... something else.
"Hey, I get that this is beautiful and all, but what exactly are we doing here?"
"We were brought here by that crystal. If we find another one, then I think we can either get home, or get somewhere else."
"That's your big idea?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"I--that's besides the point.
"Is it really now, Macy?" piped up D.E.A.N., in a questioning tone.
"Stay out of this."
"Anyways, just keep your eyes peeled."
"You realize back at that castle, we could've gotten a map. Or directions. Or someone that could use magic and just "abracadabra" us back to Feracon."
"...God damn it."
"Hm. Score one for Ma--"
"Get DOWN!!!"
An arrow sailed over their heads, as Talon tackled Macy to the floor.
"What the--how did you hear that?!"
"I'm a Shade. Now on your feet, we've got a fight on our hands!"
Six soldiers appeared before them. Four had swords; two had crossbows. They emanated a dark aura, holding their weapons without emotion.
Talon activated his robotic arms, and his purple blades appeared before him.
Macy was about to turn on her gun, but Talon stopped her.
"Don't; we don't know how long we'll be here. We need to make your battery power last as long as possible."
"Then how the hell am I supposed to fight?"
"Just stay behind me."
"That, I can do."
Talon ran towards the first, swinging his hands, taking off the thing's arms like butter.
"CATCH!!!" he yelled, tossing Macy its sword.
"I got it, I--GOD, this thing is heavy...!"
Talon swung his swords, taking off the heads of two of them, then racing to impale the ones with the crossbows.
"We're getting close to something. We should keep moving."

Sir Lancelot
Camelot Castle Training Grounds

Lancelot was taken aback when Caulifla retaliated, as her hand, cloaked in electricity, grasped his neck. He winced in pain, smiling.
He lifted his free hand to Caulifla's face quickly, opening his palm.
"CHAOS SPEAR!!!"

Jet
The Subconscious
VS Destiny

"Damn it, I can't see anything," he thought, waving through the smoke.
Shit, where was she? He had to find her. He had to find where the was. He had to...
There.
Jet threw a punch, but she only grabbed his arm, forcing him down onto one knee.
The smoke vanished, and there she was, holding an axe to his throat.
"Seem familiar?" she asked, smiling.
So many times...
He'd been on his knees time and time again, before so many people.
Before every major villain he'd ever fought.
He could see them.
The golem, who's pulled every last bit of Elemental Energy from his veins, leaving Jet powerless.
Alloy, whose machines had forced him down onto one knee in an attempt to take his life.
Destiny, who had done this before, trapping him under a literal ton of rubble.
And... a vision.
The future.
The Bounty was falling. The Temple was in flames. Lanterns fell, setting the floors on fire.
Every room was torn open.
His friends were scattered around him, all having their own battles.
And they were losing.
The fire, the destruction, the chaos, it was...
...it was all one massive bedlam.
And... someone standing before him.
It was all so vivid, his memories fading.
Everything before this moment was gone.
He tried to grasp onto the warmth every fading reminiscence, in fruitless attempts to give his life meaning once more.
Jet tried to stand, but each time, he was forced back down onto his knee.
He could make out the slightest of details; two cauldrons, in an unknown shape. Energy swirled around his... no her... no, his... arms, as his spiky hair flowed behind him.
Something could be made out on his chest...
"83D-14M."
He shoved Jet further down. "Pathetic. And to think that you all gave Alloy such a hard time."
Jet looked around, reaching for his sword.
"Did I say you could move?"
He raised his arm, and with one chop of his bare hand...

...he took off Jet's.
Screaming, he was heard; but nobody could respond. He was truly alone.
"Isn't that what you've always been?" he responded, reading Jet's thoughts. "You've always been by yourself."
As he continued talking, his voice began to change. Into...
"You've always had to rely on you, and you alone. And look where that gets you."
Suddenly, his friends all shattered like glass, their pieces falling to the floor.
"You can rely on nobody, and nobody can rely on you. Because you're arrogant."
The figure picked up one of the shards of glass, stabbing him in the leg with it.
"You're selfish."
He threw Jet across the glass-covered floor, only resulting in more pain.
"You're USELESS."
The figure was now changing, becoming darker yet darker in shade.
"So stay on your knees, because you know you need somebody out there to hold your hand. BEG for it. You owe, them, don't you?"
"I... I..."
"You know it to be true. You talk about being by yourself, but you have yet to show it. Do you really need your friends? You say you want to be alone, so let's make it so."
"D-don't... please..."
"Now, see? We're getting somewhere."
His face morphing, he was a broken mirror.
Shards of so many people. Destiny, the monster, Alloy, and so many others he recognized.
"So get up. Get up on your knees."
Jet tried to stand, but was forced back down onto that position.
"You're still resisting. Don't you get it?"
Jet reached for his face, but the silhouette, now cloaked in black, simply grabbed his wrist and squeezed like a vice.

"THIS is where you belong."

Alina

"Normally I'd be all for helping you with that," Alina said. She sent her motorcycle back to one of the many pockets of darkness that followed her around. She then grabbed under Y's arms, preparing to attempt to drag her out of there. "but I'm kinda responsible for the android right now." With that, the lioness managed to lift Y just enough so that she could be dragged.

Catgirl and co.

"Or at the very least, to another dimension." Batboy said. Catgirl stepped forward. "There was a large group of misplaced people and creatures who joined in a battle. I was part of it. While they fought the enemy, I managed to get multiple scans of biological signatures. If there's a large group of signatures, we should be able to find at least some of them." She paused. "But since the multiverse is so huge and vast, it could take a while."

Negan, Snake, SG-1
Camelot Castle - Throne Room

Negan gave a nod at Sonic's words, paying attention to how the Hedgehog responded to him. Casually and comfortably. He didn't see Negan as a threat of any kind, assuring Negan his foothold here. He could work more of his magic, get the majority here loyal to him. He didn't plan on staying, but he also didn't plan on getting mistreated here when clearly this place had a few luxuries to offer.

"Looks like your lovely... advisor, is she? Has it covered with them for a moment, so I'd like to have a little side-bar here." Negan chuckled, leaning slightly back on the balls of his feet. "Nothin' too complicated, 'course, just interested in the local geography... maybe a little help in understanding why we're all here."

------------

Snake gave a nod to Yang as she gave her run-down on Z before offering his own words to Merlina. "Crazy robot bent on human annihilation. Got the jump on him once. I've fought guys like him before."
He folded his arms, glancing at Raiden. "Z comes here, we can handle him."

“We keep hearing about this ‘Z’ guy.” Daniel spoke up, looking toward Tony. “Uh… you think there’s a possibility he could actually come here?” He asked, glancing about at everybody. “Is it possible he’s the one who brought us all here?”

Artemis
Camelot Castle - Serena's Room

“Well, come then.” Artemis smiled, moving toward the door, opening it. “I will take you to the eating quarters of the castle.” She stepped outside, holding open the door for Serena, before leading them down the hall, turning a corner, and-
“Excuse me.” Artemis took a step back to keep herself from stumbling as she bumped into somebody. Her voice betrayed annoyance, but her eyes widened for a moment as she realized who she’d bumped into. That same male from earlier who she’d detected that power within… immense and powerful. Far beyond her. That was annoying.

Hey.” Bro smirked, running a hand casually through his hair. “Fancy seeing you here. You’re Artemis, right?” Artemis glanced past Bro at his timid-looking companion. She found herself unimpressed at his company, before glancing at Serena, then folding her arms. New leaf. New Artemis. She could engage in a conversation, at the very least. She didn’t have to enjoy it, however. “Yes. That’s me.” She replied in mild annoyance. She looked down to see Bro’s hand sticking out. A gesture to shake it. This was an act partaken among men back where she was from, but she assumed it was shared by both genders wherever this guy was from. His hand had a black covering, though it didn’t cover his fingers. Hesitantly, she shook his hand. This was new. She’d never shaken hands with someone before, and his grip nearly crushed her hand before she tightened her grip to match his. His grin widened ever so slightly as he held her hand for a few moments, and an awkward silence befell them all before he let go, letting his hand fall by his side as Artemis quickly retracted her hand to her side, feeling much more awkward than before.

I’m Bro. My friends call me Bro. You can call me Dirk, though.” Bro told her as he lowered his pointy eye-coverings, revealing bright orange eyes, one of which he winked with as he stuck out his other hand this time. “Hey.” He grinned. “Can you hold this while I go for a walk?” Artemis’ breath caught in her throat as she recognized the gesture. This idiot was flirting with her! She quickly stepped to the side and moved past him. “Yes. I mean- no. That’s very lovely, but no thank you.” She pursed her lips. “Come, Serena.” She urged, striding past Dirk, who watched her go as he pushed his kamina shades back up the bridge of his nose, staring at her as she walked away. “Damn, she is fiiiiiine.” Bro said to Kiran.

Vriska Serket
Sequin Land - Risky's Ship

“That’s totally badass.” Vriska replied to Rottytops. “I’m a space troll, so I guess that makes just about as much sense as trying to categorize yourself as a zombie. Name’s Vriska, by the way. You got a name I should call you by, or does ‘Super Zombie’ work for you?” Vriska asked, smirking as she tapped her fingers against her arm, her arms crossed.

Master Chief
Specter's Ship - Hallway

John frowned, reminded briefly of a Covenant Engineer by the appearance of this Hiro imposter. Its true appearance. The only difference was- Engineers actually seemed kinda cute in comparison. The Master Chief fully drew his knife, but the creature fled, rather than fighting, speeding back toward the elevator, quickly slamming its tiny hands on buttons, but this was quickly stopped as John threw his knife, letting it sail through the air with immense speed as it slammed into the console, shattering it, letting sparks fly as the knife was buried through the metal, only the hilt showing.

He had nothing left on him- except his fists. While that wasn’t his preferable fighting style, the Spartan could still deal one hell of a punch. He’d punched straight through a foot of solid concrete once before- and that was just with the old MJOLNIR model. He still didn’t know the limitations of his new Mark VI suit.
So, he was quick to take off with a burst of speed no human could reach, pushing off with his legs, and tried slamming into Meta in a sort of tackle.
If it evaded, he already had his counter-measures at the edge of his mind.

Doomslayer, Ant-Man, Hank Pym, Luis
Specter's Ship - Omnidroid Battle

"Whoa, dude, look at the size of those banana peels!" Luis' mouth gaped open as he stared through the van. Hank merely grumbled; "It's always something." Before veering to the left, avoiding the nearest peel. "Stick the Stinger out the window with the settings on shrink and blast any of the peels in our way."
Luis nodded enthusiastically, giving Hank a grin. "We make a pretty good team." He stated. Hank furrowed his brow. "You say that after- just do it."
"Right."

“Okay, yes, I’ve seen the- AGH.” Scott was cut off as he took a step back to regain his balance as the Omnidroid’s leg slammed into his shoulder. He rubbed his shoulder for a second as he narrowed his eyes. “Okay, look, I don’t even know what this thing is called. I just know it’s from the Incredibles, and it’s supposed to kill super heroes. Some villain guy must have made this a real thing or something, because there’s no way this thing could be as powerful as the one in that movie… right?”

“Wrong.” Hank’s voice came in reply. Seemed he’d reestablished a connection. “We’re in an alternate universe. Anything- and I mean ANYTHING is possible. If this thing is the Omnidroid from the Incredibles-”
“Wait, you know what this is!?” Scott interrupted. Hank sighed over the comms. “No. Luis told me.”
“Hey, man. Did you like my music?” Luis’ voice came in, and Scott grinned. “Luis, hey man.” He dodged another swing of the Omnidroid’s arm. “How’d you get here-”
“Not important. You have to destroy the Omnidroid from the inside out. It has powerful armor, but its internal systems aren’t invincible. None of our weapons could penetrate the armor- but there are several exhaust ports I’ve managed to locate that one of you could get into, and destroy this thing.”
“One of you, as in, me too?” Luis asked hopefully. “No, Hope is here too. Luis, just- stop, okay?” Hank’s irritated voice came over the comms, before both suddenly cut out. “Uh, guys? Hello?” The Ant-Man asked as the Omnidroid fired a beam at the odd armored guy it had been attacking. “Great… This is just like the airport all over again.” Scott muttered. “Inside the armor, disable it… Hey Hope, you don’t think this thing has any stuff in it like Iron Man’s suit, right? The stuff that totally made me seem like a joke?”

Flynn glared up at the Omnidroid as its top rotated to fire another blast at him- one which the Doomslayer simply side-stepped, having recognized the action and already been moving before the blast fired. It seared the ground beside him as he cradled his arm, scowling. This thing was relentless for sure, but there was a certainty Flynn hasn’t used all of his tricks. He gathered himself, and quickly leapt to the side, dodging another blast, before slamming his good hand into the ground, punching through the metal floor, and quickly pulling it up, ripping the thick metal plating off and raising it cover him as a makeshift shield.

Logan
Goldenwalk - Collapsing Sewers

Logan watched as Toph struggled with the rumbling cave. The girl and her flower were gone. Alina was carrying Y’s body to safety. The Spider-Kid, however, wasn’t doing anything. Thinking quickly, Logan remembered the webbing… how durable was that stuff? He quickly turned to the kid. “Web up those holes as best as you can, then give me two strings. I have a plan.” He growled quickly, giving Peter an order.

Rick Grimes
Far East Branch - Simulation Room "Ruined Japan"

Rick whirled about, glaring up at the Zygotes. “Stick close to me.” He ordered the woman as he aimed the fake God Arc. This thing was supposed to shoot, if he wasn’t mistaken. He pulled the trigger he found, and a blast fired out, slamming into one of the Zygotes, reducing it to nothing. Not quite like taking on walkers… but the man had killed hundreds of the dead over the years. His aim was true, and his will was truer. Even if he knew this was a simulation, he still could feel the adrenaline pumping through him as he fired two more shots at the Zygotes, noticing another pack of Ogretails coming toward them. He’d been in the apocalypse long enough to know to conserve energy where he could, and quickly turned to the Ogretails, slashing with the replica God Arc, cutting easily through two of the Ogretails, destroying them as a third lunged, snapping at Rick, but caught his blade in its teeth. He quickly slashed, tearing through the third Ogretail. Rick’s face had ceased showing emotion as he grew into his colder, more serious self.

Dr. Gaster
THE VOID

“Oh, it is.” Gaster replied. “A being as powerful as myself, with supposed omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence… that’s all a hypothetical, of course. But yes. It is indeed quite humorous that someone like me must call upon the help of someone as simple as you. However, it is in effect. I have asked for your assistance. You see, I am unable to harness the power. My technology is too aged to accomplish my goals. While I’ve managed to tap into a fraction of its power… I desire to harness it fully. Now. I do see a problem arising here. I seem to be the one doing all the talking, and you seem to be the one doing all the listening, while it should be the other way around. Keep in mind your friends lives are in your hands. Fail this task as simple as you, and I will force you to watch as Blaze is murdered again and again. At least, until you are no longer capable of experiencing emotion. That’s where the fun begins.”

Frisk
???

She’d managed to land hits- but they always resulted in some kind of trick, or just simply had no effect at all. Her attacks weren’t offensive, but rather, defensive. Attempts to keep surviving as long as she could, but the doctor was relentless. Unlike Sans, or Undyne, or Papyrus, he didn’t appear to tire out, his attacks just getting faster, and stronger, and bigger with each passing minute. Her dodges were beginning to get more desperate, her health continued depleting. She couldn’t hold this up for much longer, but she kept holding on to her HOPES and her DREAMS. To her Love, rather than her LOVE. She still had to SAVE the others, and she wasn’t about to give up and roll over for Gaster and whatever his motives were.

She didn’t feel she could SAVE him. Not like Asriel. This Gaster… he wasn’t redeemable, was he? He was sick and twisted, with goals much larger than any of those he was fighting. He’d been toying with them this entire time… and he probably still was. This was all just a game to pass the time to him. To amuse him.
She felt a blaster sear her skin as she attempted the hundredth dodge that fight, but the beam still caught her arm in the blast, reducing her last big of health by a large margin.

0.00001/20 HP

She glanced at her health bar, and realized what was happening. Her determination was at its strongest point. The point of refusal. She knew at this moment that she wouldn’t die. She couldn’t die. She had to SAVE the others from the doctor.
Frisk’s body began to pulse a bright shade of red as she produced another red shield in front of her just as a black tendril struck it. The shield cracked- but didn’t shatter as her determination held it in place. Gaster frowned, staring at her thoughtfully. “You continue to surpass your limitations, child. You truly are a wonder. Even in this world- and many.” The darkness around them started to fade, turning to a bright white as Gaster too, faded from view. Just as quickly as the white came, color took it again. She found herself lying on the metal floor of the True Lab, staring up at the ceiling. Maxwell, Alphys, Blaze, and Jet all hovered around her, their heads tilted back, their limbs dangling, their bodies engulfed in a blue haze.

As she watched, their bodies seemed to twitch and jerk, but at the same time, they seemed to glitch out, small portions of their bodies becoming distorted and disconnected from reality for just a moment before returning to their normal spot. The True Lab was darker than usual, the only light being the blue haze around her friends. As she looked about, she could see that the True Lab appeared as it had when they’d first arrived. Maxwell’s ‘modifications’ appeared to have never happened.

...Had Gaster had them in an illusion since before the battle with Maxwell? This is what appeared to be happening. Alphys was still alive, and the True Lab seemed normal. The only thing missing was Silver, but Frisk would have to worry about him later. She turned her attention back to her friends. It was time to start SAVEing them.

*ACT
*SAVE

*Alphys
*Blaze
*Jet
*Maxwell

*You can only save one at a time.
*They appear to being glitched out of reality.
*You’ll need to act fast.

Frisk took in a deep breath, before selecting Alphys.

Alphys
The Dump

She sat in a huddled ball, her back against a sheet of metal as she cried in the dump. She didn’t know what she’d done wrong. What she’d done to deserve that treatment… Asgore had kicked her out of the lab, Sans had cut all ties with her… Mettaton had… abandoned her, and Undyne… she’d…
Alphys let out a sob. She was all alone again. Nobody liked her. Nobody loved her. She’d been tricked into thinking that they cared about her… turned out that wasn’t the truth. Far from it. Everybody had turned their back against her. Undyne had told her that she hated her…

The monster lifted her head slightly to look toward the waterfall at the edge of the dump. She’d stood there only once before in her life… Undyne had stopped her unknowingly from doing something dark Alphys had planned. Suddenly, she found herself at the edge again, staring down into the abyss. What was the point, any more? Why bother moving on? She’d lost her home, her friends, her life… She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, before-

*You call out to Alphys.

Alphys froze, hearing a familiar voice call out to her. She hesitated for a moment, before turning around to see Frisk standing there, staring back, her brow creased in worry. “...H-hey, Frisk…” Alphys muttered. She was half-expecting Frisk to shove the nail into the coffin. To abandon her, too. Much to the surprise of the monster, Frisk walked up to her, and wrapped her arms around Alphys’ middle in a huh.
Alphys gulped, feeling tears sting her eyes as she realized just how badly she’d needed this… she hugged the child back as she began to cry.

*You tell Alphys she’s a wonderful person.
*She’s smart, resourceful, and even brave.
*You remind her of how amazing she is.
*Alphys cries into your shoulder.
*You tell her it’s time to go home.

Alphys nodded, pulling away from Frisk, taking off her glasses and wiping her eyes as she sniffed. “Thank… thank you, F-Frisk…” She smiled weakly. “I… I really needed t-t-that…”
Frisk smiled back as the world around them began to fade upon Alphys’ confidence returning. It became a bright white, that soon faded into a dark color. That of the True Lab. Alphys found herself lying on her side in the True Lab, Frisk standing beside her. The child said nothing as she moved past Alphys, approaching three hovering figures giving off a blue glow that illuminated the lab.
The memories returned to Alphys as she recalled what had gone down… She was… alive? The pain had felt so real… her death had felt so real…

Frisk came to a stop in front of Jet, Blaze, and Maxwell.

She selected Jet, and upon doing that, Frisk moved toward Jet, placing a hand on his arm, and the blue light surrounded her as well as her eyes closed, and she entered his consciousness.

Vaga 'Sadum
Sangheilios

The Phantoms opened fire, ripping through flesh as their plasma ripped apart the Flood, who just kept coming. Just as quickly as the Phantoms entered the conflict, Banshees and opposing Phantoms soared out of the destroyed Carrier, engaging the Phantoms. Vaga watched as Phantoms quickly fell before even getting to deploy their troops. This was a nasty battle- and it was just the first of many, he knew that much.
Looking to his left, he could see a smoking Banshee hurtling straight toward him, opening fire with its plasma turrets. He quickly raised the blade, managing to block most of the plasma blasts as the sword absorbed the majority of the shots, the remained striking his energy shielding, depleting it once again. The Banshee swooped up in an attempt to turn around and perform a second assault, but the Sangheili Commander wouldn’t allow this, quickly leaping into the air and slashing with his energy sword, easily tearing through the Banshee’s left wing, sending it spiraling as it attempted to fly away, before colliding with another Banshee in the air, both erupting in a cloud of blue fire.

“Fall back to the Scarab line!” Vaga roared, commanding what was left of his unit. “We can’t allow the parasite to get any further than they have!” He didn’t like retreating. It went against the sangheili code. A code of honor. The highest honor was a warrior’s death- dying on the battlefield. Had these been humans they were fighting, he wouldn’t have given this order, but the Flood changed up everything. They could just simply assimilate the dead into their ranks, gaining the intelligence and skills of the infected host. That intelligence and skills could be shared with their hivemind, and in turn, be shared with the entirety of the Flood.
Upon his order, the Covenant began to fall back, retreating from the advancing Flood as Ghosts, Wraiths, and Spectres hurled themselves from the fallen Carrier, pursuing the Covenant. Sangheili all about him fell as Vaga boarded a Phantom waiting for him. Once on, it took off, headed the way they’d come. On the horizon, they could see a line of a multitude of Scarabs waiting to hold back the Flood. Scarabs were the best and most efficient ground force the Covenant had. Some would call them ‘city crushers’, and that was their purpose.
Vaga fumed, pacing back and forth on the Phantom as it flew, his energy sword sheathed, the handle attached to his hip. A sangheili major approached him, clicking his mandibles in agitation. “Commander.” The major said, turning Vaga’s attention to him. “What? What is it?”
“It’s…” The major hesitated. “High Charity is gone.”

Vaga’s eyes widened as he took a step toward the major. “...are you sure?” The major gave a nod. “The last survivors just arrived on Sangheilios. A lot happened while we were away. The Covenant is disbanded. The hierarchs attempted to replace us with the jiralhanae. The Flood consumed it during the crisis.”
Vaga’s fist slammed into the wall of the Pelican, leaving an indent in the highly durable, thick metal as he let out a snarl. “Bastards.” He growled. “We knew it was coming.” His stomach twisted painfully tight. He truly didn’t much care that the Covenant had fallen, nor that the hierarchs had betrayed his people after millenia of servitude. What pained him the most was that High Charity was gone. Consumed by the Flood. His wife and child had been there… Now just another face among the horde, one he wouldn’t be able to recognize...

This conflict had just become personal.

He was far from winning, he'd admit.
He didn't think he wasn't going to win.
But he still wasn't giving up.
This figure still loomed over him, their face cracked like glass.
As if some demented mosaic, the body was made up of fragments of all the people that had ever given Jet a challenge.
Alloy. That life-support machine, those wrinkly, feeble arms, his leather-like skin.
Destiny. That flowing hair, those fierce eyes.
And the new figure... that stone-cold gaze, that armor...
It kept shifting from person to person, each one taunting Jet.
But behind all of those eyes, there was a looming darkness.
As if their minds had been replaced by pure want to cause terror and destruction.
"What... what the hell are you?!" Jet grunted, finding the will to summon a knife.
Finally, the figure settled on a form.
Their skin was monochrome, their eyes black.
Jet's heart stopped.
It was him. A twisted, cold version of him.
"Isn't it obvious?" It asked, scaring Jet for the first in a long time. "I'm you.
"Your fear, all of the insecurities that you tried so hard to lock up in that tiny little brain of yours."
He pinned Jet to the black floor. "So just give up. Because no matter how well you hide, no matter how fast you run...
"Nobody escapes FEAR."
Jet tried to stab at it, but it simply caught the knife, breaking it like a toothpick. "Sad. Just sad. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and let me in."
In response, Jet flipped himself off.
Chuckling, he slammed Jet's head against the glass.
"Fine. I'll do it myself."
Black ooze began to drip from it, beginning to surround Jet in a pile of black ooze. The same words kept repeating like a broken record, trying to pin him down.
"This is where you belong."
"This is where you belong."
"This is where you belong."
"This is where you belong."
"This is where you belong."
Each time, he tried to reply, "No, it's not!" but it kept getting louder, and louder still.
Drowning him out.
Metaphorically, and literally.
He couldn't give up.
Could he?
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!"
But the more he fought, the deeper he sunk.
He reached his hand to the sky, in a seemingly fruitless attempt to reach for a way out.
But it was working.
He was scared.
Maybe he should let it take him.
Maybe this was where he belonged.
Then he snapped out of it.
With one last push, he forced himself to climb as far as he could out of the pit that had been dug for him, only to be gripped by the ankles and pulled back down into the darkness.
Watching reality fade away, he hand lied outstretched.
As if there was any hope for him to escape.

Rex was belwildered when Erza pulled him by his collar. That did NOT go as he expected. Rex just blinked as Erza, a bead of sweat forming on his temple as she gave him a piece of her mind.

“Crystal clear...!”

Just what the heck did I do? I just asked about her home and why she isn’t talking about it so much. Sheesh! Learn to take a chill pill girl!

As Rex was released from her grip, he landed flat on his rump. Adjusting his beanie and groaning when he hit the ground, he quickly dusted himself off and got back up on his own two feet.

“Heh, but no need to be so down in the dumps.” Rex resumed a confidence posture, trying to save face. “You have the strongest warrior from my whole realm here to help. And hate my guts or not, your stuck with me lady!”

Warriors like confidence don’t they? Then this’ll hopefully clear up my last...erm...*misgiving* while also showing my courage by standing with her despite any wish she would have. Either that or I might get my collar ripped off again, but at this point why not?

Specter watched on from his floating chair as the two Mecha Hiro’s channeled their powerful air currents at Kale, who despite the fact was still making headway forward. Specter put his fingers on his chin quizzically, impressed by her sheer power.

“This power...she is most certainly superior to any Pipotron. Could I have found the strongest simian alive?”

Suddenly, a current of Fire was lit up, the Monkey overlord wincing as she was engulfed in flames. It gave him no pleasure to make his kind endure such hurt. But if it would make her see reason and stop rampaging, he would do what was necessary.

Suddenly, the lasers of the Mecha Hiros were primed, blasting out powerful burst streams of destruction at Kale, who was enduring the flames and wind as it was. It was over. Specter closed his eyes and shook his head at the sight.

.......

Pipotron Krak sneered ear to ear as the van concocted an idea to shrink the banana field he lie before them. Now that they were busy with that little ‘distraction’, he could work his magic.

He furiously tapped on his holographic keyboard, his monocle blinking several shades of purple and red. Suddenly, in the van, the monitors began to crackle and buzz. Images of krack and his ear screeching cackle had begun to flood the place. Electronic devices that could display images all began to show different distorted images of the Neo pipotron, trying to drown out their coms from being able to help each other while drawing a new sense of panic to the situation.

The lights of the van flicked on and off, on and off, like they were some kind of beacon. The monkey noticed the van flickering it’s kights several times. It titled it’s head curiously.

“Ukki ki?”

The monkey leaned over to try and pick the car up like it were some kind of plaything! Pipotron J examined the situation, turning to Krak.

“So, it was a ploy. The odd scenario was a mask for your real motive: to disorient their team.”

“Kekeke! Exactly! Without the brain, the rest of the team will crumble! And so goes the hopes of the ant and the bee!! Keke!!!!”

..........

As Meta frantically pressed buttons, it was abruptly halted when Cheif’s Knive soared through the air and cut into the panel, sparks flying. Pipotron Meta was taken aback, looking back to chief with astonished eyes.

“W-what?! Well, two can play at that game, Gari!”

Suddenly, as Chief drew closer, Pipotron Meta began to wobble and liquify, changing his shape. As master chief impacted his target, he was met with an image of his own self, preforming an armor lock right in the nick of time!

“It’s time to finish the fight, Gari!”

After cheif’s inital attack struck, he released the armor lock, twirling a plasma rifle from his holster, aiming it at chief, before blasting the blue hot bolts his way.

“Fairly...colorful place.” Contessa commented about sequin land.

“Too colorful for my taste Madam...”

Maxwell
Suddenly, as the room filled with darkness, Maxwell could feel his mind drifting- he tried to shake his head and snap out of it, but he wasn’t in control of this. Frankly, he was confused. Who was doing this?

But then, he got his answer the moment he could see again. He was standing outside, before a tall barn. It was his grandparent’s farm. This was… he was back home. But that was impossible. He’d destroyed everything back in his own universe- including the very concept of existence. Nothing had remained when he’d departed, so what was going on?

It was then that he realized that he wasn’t in control of his body. No, he was viewing memories. Instantly, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. He wanted to shout, break free- but he couldn’t. This was some kind of sick torture. He didn’t want to live through the same story again- he’d done it so many times, and the end was always just as painful. He wasn’t trapped. No, it couldn’t be…

After a few minutes, he learned that this was his eighty-fourth run. He was talking, but couldn’t control what he was saying. And the person he was speaking to was Lily- this was the run when he’d attempted to tell her about all the previous ones. But he’d been foolish enough to tell her about all the things he’d done on those runs- all the terrible acts. The look on her face… it wasn’t hatred, or disgust, but rather… disbelief. She could hardly process that her kind, gentle brother had even thought of such things.

Once he stopped talking, images began to flash before his eyes. About fifty memories a second flooded his mind- memories he’d pushed back far enough that he’d believed they were forgotten. But what had happened was still there- and he could barely watch it. He’d seen it all before. He didn’t want to be back here. He didn’t want to live like that anymore.

But there was nothing he could do. He couldn’t move. He tried as hard as be could, but the memories wouldn’t stop flashing. Raging fires. Lightning storms. Total destruction.

Destruction he’d caused. Destruction he’d asked for.

And seeing these things was painful, not because he felt guilty. But rather, because he couldn’t bear to look upon the world he’d called home again. The world that’d snatched all joy from him because of one bad deed.

He could feel his anger rising- his emotions surfacing. He felt an incredibly strong urge to conjure a nuclear bomb- or anything to destroy this place, really. But it was impossible- these were memories. All of this was in the past.

Eventually, after what felt like hours, the images stopped appearing before him, and instead, he found himself standing in a meadow.

...a familiar meadow.

This was the first place that he’d ever done wrong in to get a Starite.

Noah Kaiba

“It figures that you’d think of Seto when you heard my name,” Noah scoffed. Then, he paused. Realization began to sink in- slowly. Why would Gozaburo have programmed Seto into their memory?! No, that wasn’t something his father would do. Was it to invoke a sense of competition? He father had intended for that fool from the orphanage to inspire him…

He was unsure of how to talk to this character when he was hanging upside down from the cell bars. It seemed like he was joking, but Noah got the message. This guy wasn’t messing with him… really. He was just… strange.

“Seto Kaiba is my brother- technically. Adoptive brother,” Noah informed him. “So, allow me to enlighten you. I’m sure you’ve heard of KaibaCorp- the company that is rightfully mine- yes?”

Nanashi
Camelot

Nanashi listened to Azula’s words carefully. She did seem kind- and understanding. But there was something about her that threw him off… he just couldn’t put his finger on it. He brushed it off as paranoia- being a demon hunter caused one to look at most unfamiliar people with distrust. It didn’t matter, though. As long as he kept his eyes on the prize, he doubted something bad would happen to him.

Admittedly, he was far more suspicious of this Negan character. He wasn’t about to say so out loud, but the man seemed strange. He definitely knew how to get under people’s skin- and he was clearly the kind of person who knew how emotions worked. He’d used his charisma against Azula in their previous argument. However, he didn’t really seem violent or evil, so Nanashi brushed that thought off as paranoia as well.

“I appreciate that,” he told Azula. “And you’re right. I highly doubt my friends would want me to be too hung up on my worries to do my best to return. Thank you, Azula.”

Twilight had been focused on the Star Map in question as she gazed upon the sky before Star and others brought up the fact they'd probably need to camp for the night. Indeed, it was a bit too late to follow stars and the conditions in this setting was far from favorable but the idea of setting up camp seemed implausible in it of itself given they were in the middle of nowhere away from key resources.

Then Star offered to cram everyone into her wand, being a magic item Twilight decided to trust her on the mechanics behind it though with an eyebrow raised the pony princess had with the set up and Star's insistence that she could put the wand "in a safe place" while they rested the night.

"Okay, but where?" Twilight asked Star curious where she'd have the wand given they had been walking down a barren trail. If she was gonna trust Star to leave the wand exposed and unguarded she needed a bit more assurance of its safety.

The Hunter
Specter's Ship, Mess Hall

Like a cornered rat, it finally admitted it's defeat. Hiro melted away into a...thing. Beast? Just as ugly as one. It's eyes couldn't focus and it's back covered with craters. Kept saying 'gari'. Must've been it's name? Why a deceiver would keep repeating it's name the Hunter had no clue, and he had little opportunity to ask it. The three intimidated the slimy thing so much it dashed off into the elevator. "Oi, where you think your runnin' off to, ye slimy feck?" The Hunter tried to give chase, but Master Chief was far more deft.

Quickly jumping into action, Master Chief tossed his knife at the controls of the elevator, and promptly tackled Gari. But Gari had more tricks up his sleeve...claw...thing. Just as it mimicked Hiro, it mimicked the Chief. Down to the last tiny dent on his suit. It was a skilled shapeshifter, he'd give Gari that.

Of course, Gari didn't possess the combat prowess Chief had either. Nor did he expect the Hunter to be backing him up, apparently. Seemed like a perfect opening for the heavy blade.

Locking the onehanded sword into it's "sheath", pulled up the holy blade in it's complete form, and began charging towards the dual chiefs. "You might be able to mimick us, but you can't mimick us both!" The Hunter grunted as he brought the sword down at the fake Master Chief. Well, the one he assumed wasn't the chief, because it was shooting at the chief.

So he'd guess that one wasn't the Chief.

Eileen the Crow and the Darkbeast
Central Yharnam

One of Eileen's new companions...or rather, two, considering the winged Cat she had somehow missed on Alicia's back, began charging at the screeching beast. No weapon, no tricks, no supplies. So Eileen was reasonably surprised at what Alicia was doing. Seemed pretty...suicidal. "What're you doin'? You'll get yourself kill-"

Eileen didn't finish her sentence. She was interrupted by a cracking noise, and the Darkbeast being flung back towards a building. And, once again, Eileen was reasonably surprised. "...How in the hell..."

Of course, the Darkbeast was far more resistant than to die to a single punch. It didn't take long for it to get back up on it's feet, and begin it's attack once again. And to Eileen's surprise, more of the kids began charging it down! First the one with the jet black hair and the cold stare, charging in on one of it's feet. The bony appendage was severed off with a screech.

Even so, the injury didn't seem to bother the beast as much as it should've. It used the bare end on it's leg bone to continue walking, and turned it's now cracked and dented head to face Bakugo. The beast let out another shrill cry, a blue light shining from within it. Eileen knew exactly what it was going to do.

"Oi, get out of there! It's about to blast off sparks!" Eileen still seemed to massively underestimate her new companions. But perhaps she wasn't wrong. She just didn't want roasted kid to be on the vicious thing's menu.

Camelot Castle Throne Room
Raiden and Jetstream Sam

Snake took that news...better than expected. He didn't want to be told more though. He was fearful of a time paradox. Which was reasonable. If he had known that Rose and John were hiding from the patriots under the colonel, they would no doubt have been used against him. Despite wanting to tell Snake so much, he held back. It was in everyone's best interest, Foxdie or not.

Yang questioned him on Sam, but Tony mentioning Z distracted her. Every built him up to be a big bad scary guy. Was he? Probably. But he must've had a weakness he intended to cover. Otherwise he would've chased them...well, not him, but the others down already. Or he was still tracking them down. Which was a possiblity. Still, any AI could be exploited. Emma and Sunny both made the Worm cluster viruses, which did a number on the GW and then the rest of the Patriots. Blade Wolf could probably be manipulated in a similar way, but Raiden wasn't ready to test that out on the mostly passive unit. They had become quick buddies.

Z may of been an android, which made uploading viruses harder, but there were always ways around it. Some sort of access port maybe?...He was getting ahead of himself. They lacked the resources in this Kingdom. He was probably the most technologically advanced individual around. Well, except Sam.

Meanwhile, Sam found himself glaring at the king. Not because he was annoyed at him breaking up the duel. No, he had piqued Sam's curiosity with that Broadsword. A sword was as strong as it's master made it, and clearly the Hedgehog was an exceptional individual to plant it in a sheer stone wall. Maybe they could duel...

...Hmm. No. There'd be times for duels later. Negan wished to discuss his terms with the King. Sam didn't know what Negan was going to do or say, but he sure was an...interesting guy. He'd stick around for the time being. Maybe he could go for a duel a bit later...See if the hedgehog was all power and speed, no true skill.

Camelot Castle Halls
Kiran

"Well, if you say so. I just don't want to see you lose something important, so something like that-" Bro's question made him stop. Kiran was almost certain that feeling was his anxiety at just running off on the King, but Bro had felt it too. "Oh, so it wasn't just me."

The hall before the stairwell seemed empty. Keyword, seemed. He definitely felt like something was there. But what?

"...Let's keep moving." Kiran attempted to take the lead up the stairwell. He wasn't sure where he was going, but it certainly wouldn't be sticking around the "deserted" hall.

Instead, their little journey lead them into some outer areas of the castle. Somewhere in the proximity of it, but clearly not the castle proper. Wherever they were wandering, Kiran supposed it got them closer to the ramparts...But first, they ran into some people. Bro, quite literally. But of course, one of these people wasn't just a person. It was a rather tall woman, immaculate in form, exuding an air of something he could describe as demanding respect. And if this was who Kiran believed it was? She quite deserved it.

Artemis, goddess of the Hunt, Moon, and Chastity. She shouldn't have existed logistically- most gods were just explanations for how things worked back in the ages they were conceived, but logistically, if the idea of a multiverse existed, one where gods did exist seemed plausible.

But Kiran didn't say anything. He kind of...locked up. Fear? Probably. Fear definitely after he heard Bro flirt with her. Immense rage...or perhaps still fear welled up within him. What was Bro doing? He'd get himself killed! A god wasn't just a god for no good reason.

But something in Artemis held her back. Perhaps the girl she was with. Seemed to have taken her under her wing of sorts. Why? Perhaps because she was rather young. Displaced as it were, she was likely scared and lonely. Not to mention her age and innocence would keep her pure. For a while.

And as she left, Bro turned to him to continue...objectifying? He wasn't actually sure if that was the word here, but whatever. Kiran had to put a stop to this before Bro got himself into trouble.

"Do you really not realize who that is?!" Kiran told him, in a hushed voice. "Artemis, goddess of the hunt, moon, and chastity. And she doesn't take kindly to that type of stuff. Literally everyone who has dared seen her naked, not even intentionally, got punished. A guy got turned into a deer when he was surrounded by his own hounds. A boy got turned into a girl. And Orion...The point is, stop it. I know she's pretty alright?! But pretty or not we should respect her. And not flirt with her."

He wasn't necessarily angry, but he was pretty spooked.

Sarah, Samus, and the Flamebringer

"Samus Aran. Pleasure to meet you." Samus shook Sarah's hand, never breaking her formal tone. "I apologize if I'm not up to standards. I was responding to a distress call, as I've said. Unfortunately, it seemed the Space Pirates set a trap on me. I took care of the foot soldiers, but their leader, Ridley, was also waiting there. I didn't have all my gear, severely underestimated the situation. It unsettles me. He's a psychopath with little regard for any life. I can't rest easy until he's put down for good."

That certainly was a story. Space pirates, a psychopathic monster, a villainous trap...geez, for a bounty hunter she sure seemed to be more or less a hero. Sarah glanced over to Flamebringer, her "nemesis". While what she did was wrong, she didn't seem to revel in the kill. It was just business. Which...was still wrong, but didn't make her a psychopath. Sarah was sure the correct term for that was sociopath.

"I wouldn't worry too much about performance." Sarah told Samus. "We're all a little off our games. And I'm sure that Ridley guy got into some trouble himself. Those types usually run into it." Samus was quiet for a moment...Ah man. Did Sarah say something wrong?...Maybe that Ridley guy was a bit more personal than Samus made it seem.

"...Thank you for your reassurance." Was all Samus said, before walking to the mouth of the cave. Sarah wanted to say something, but didn't really know what to say.

And as that went down, Flamebringer simply observed Jin at his craft. Hmm, she could learn a few tips from him. But she was wise to not interrupt him in his process. Cooking was an artform of it's own, after all. And an artist at his craft should not be interrupted.

Priscilla, Jackson, Quint, and Aisha
Goldenwalk Streets

Lucario criticized her decisions on staying neutral until they fired. It would make them like a sitting duck.

"Y'know, the guy's got a point." Jackson told the group. "If they didn't hold back on the police, why would they hold back on us?"

Priscilla attempted to defend her statement. "Well, we are civilians..."

Jackson wasn't sold. "So what? These guys aren't here didn't bother with talking things out with the entire police force showing up. They could've been peaceful then..."

"Yeah, I'm siding with Jackson on this one. I mean if they were holding back, they would've done so on the police force. They are clearly interested in the idea of fear, and blowing up civilians seems perfectly in line. And we aren't really civilians either."

"Well we need information! Maybe they'll tell us something-"

"Then we interrogate the last one standing."

"Last one standing? I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here..."

And as the three...discussed...Aisha was looking at the soldiers. They didn't look of this world. Not a surprise. They seemed to be hearing something. One of them, perhaps the leader, had a finger to their ear. Picking up a message, she assumed. Not many emotions could be read through their masks, but messages did not often bode well. "Uh, guys..."

"What I'm saying is, we should take care while approaching..."

The soldiers began walking forward. The Scorpion looming. Aisha began taking off her seatbelt. "Guys!"

"I'm pretty sure we can't approach this peacefully. I'd love to not fight, but..."

"GUYS!"

That got their attention. And as Aisha kicked the door open, she yelled at them one last thing.

"GET OUT OF THE VAN, THEIR COMING!"

A thump was heard as the scorpion hopped on the hood of the van. It nearly crumpled under the weight of it. It didn't take long for everyone to copy Aisha's leave- and good thing too, because the Scorpion pierced it's tail through the windshield.

A duo of soldiers confronted Lucario, as the others began closing in on the van escapees. Including the Scorpion, taking a perch upon the top of the van. Which, luckily for it, managed to hold. The last member of the squadron stayed back. He had something in his hands. A cannon. Luckily, the group didn't have to deal with it as they calibrated the device- but it was clear it would become an issue quickly.

Priscilla levied the shotgun at one and fired- the guy hardly twitched. The pellets scattered off their body armor like gravel. "How the...? What type of technology do these guys have?" Even the hardest bulletproof materials they had made had still at least dented from a shotgun blast at close range.

"Beats me," Jackson said, firing a round out of the pistol. Similarly, it did nothing but ricochet off. "Aim for the eyes? Or maybe just regular bullets aren't strong enough? Raccoon, Thor, kid, we need you as support here!"

Somehow, Quint and Aisha managed to get past the soldiers. Clearly the weaponless woman and young man weren't pressing concerns. "I'm not sure who these guys are, but no wonder they demolished the police force. This stuff is...well, it's stuff that I'm sure some places are testing, but certainly not releasing to the public." Aisha pointed out.

"Crap, look. That guy back there has something even bigger." Quint followed up.

"Your a psychic, right? Can't you just break something in it to make it stop working? Or drag the guy into the air?"

"I mean, it's not that easy. Gravity's one thing to work against, but another external force is something else. I'll do what I can."

The soldier felt a slight tug on the railgun. But it was only a minor delay for him, and Quint couldn't keep it up forever. Hopefully the delay was enough for some more help to arrive, but chances were slim...Of course, Thor was there too. But the question was if he could resist the blast if he were distracted.

It was best to not find out.

Hornet nodded to the collection of new faces and some she vaguely recognized. "Hornet, sentinel of Hallownest. Pleasure to meet you." Hornet did not linger long. She went to join Kris, watching for any sign of chase.

It was unlikely, but foes could be unpredictable. The explosion likely did not sit well with the king, and his castle still menaced in the distance. Despite Maple saying it drained so much from her, they were still rather close. Too close for Hornet's liking.

"Keep your eyes sharp. They may not have been strong, but they have pure numbers." Hornet would admit, she did see more of...it in Kris than she should've. Quiet, concerned with the botton line. Yet still charismatic in their own way.

But she'd never admit to anyone other than herself.

"Quite bold, aren't you." Líf did not show any surprise at this man's questions. He was lost. Confused. Scared...No. This man was not fearful. Líf knew fear, and this man lacked it.

"I will answer your questions, sharp one. I am Líf, first King of Askr. I know not where we are. Nifl, perhaps?" That was a snowy, peaceful Kingdom that did not trifle in the matters of Askr...No. It couldn't have been Nifl. If the new resident of Hel were to be believed, a war had razed Nifl, forests and villages burned alike. This land was far too peaceful for such a place. His gaze shifted to the sky for a moment. "It matters not where we are, however." And his gaze returned to the Hero Killer. Not that Líf was aware of such a title.

"I require soldiers. Individuals for an army. And you, sharp one, seem perfectly fit." He clutched his blade's handle. His red eyes staring intensely at Stain. "So come. Let us join under one banner." He stretched one of his clawed hands toward Stain.

Another blast from the crystalline beast was blocked, but this time by the Malos fellow. He produced a shield to guard their little group from harm. But the beast was...retreating? No. It was skyward bound, a glint of light began shining from it's body.

"So...do you think this is the attack your supposed to Jail up, Malos?" Grima told the Monado wielder. Grima wasn't really sure what a Monado was, but it seemed rather powerful. And power was all one truly needed to extinguish humanity. They inflated their own self importance so much they never realized how simple minded most of them were. Power was always the one true equalizer. Power and power alone.

VS Darkbeast

Before anybody could react, Dex ran forward. "I GOT IT!!!"
At the literal speed of lightning, Dex zipped between his allies, coming right in-between Bakugou and the Darkbeast.
With one last bolt, Dex gripped the Darkbeast's back.
Raising his hands, he slammed them down onto the monster's corpse-like back, electricity already flowing into his fingertips.
Taking a deep breath, he immediately came up with an idea for an ultimate move.
"JUPITER INHALE!!!" he cried, starting to suck the electricity out of it in an attempt to nullify, or even stop, its attack.
His sword lit up, and entire bolts of lightning surged into Dex's body, his skin lighting up as if there were Christmas lights strung up on the inside of his body, his eyes lighting up like flashlights.
Screaming, he willed--no, he forced the electricity to change target, blasting its way into his nervous system.
It didn't kill him, but it sure as hell didn't tickle, either.
Ash immediately got an idea. "Greninja!"
The trainer tossed his Pokeball, the blue frog appearing before him in a flash of light.
"Greninja," he said, his eyes starting to glow. "You know what to do, buddy!"
Greninja nodded, erupting in a pillar of water, the liquid manifesting into a massive shuriken on its back. Its head changed, now sporting a new black and red pattern.
This was Ash-Greninja.
Noticing this boost in power, Todoroki turned to them. "We should all launch our attacks in unison to try and overpower it."
Everybody nodded except for Soul, who'd taken note of Todoroki's preference for ice attacks.
"Greninja, use Water--"
"No!" Soul immediately cut in.
"What do you mean? We have to stop it!"
"The thing is made of electricity, you morons. If we use any water-based attacks, it would most likely be very effective. But that also runs the risk of hurting the boy on top of it. We need to be more precise about this."
Clenching his fists, Ash sighed. "Fine. Then use Night Slash!"
Nodding, Greninja ran forward, both it and it's Trainer setting sights on the damaged leg.
"GO!"
Ash swung his arm, and Greninja did in unison.

Alicia smiled at the sight of the beast going flying. She had to admit, "Sparky" was pretty brave. Though the move was both smart and stupid at the same time. She set her sights on the leg opposite Greninja. Her eyes glowed red. "You want precision," Alicia said "you got it." She then sent a blast of heat vision at the leg she had targeted.

Koji moved to back up Priscilla and co. As he ran he pulled out his D-Tector. Once again, he Spirit Evolved into Lobomon. He glanced at his allies. One thing was for sure, this wasn't going to be easy.

Bro, Sans
Camelot Castle - Halls

Bro stared at Kiran for a moment, then looked back over his shoulder to see if Artemis was there. She wasn’t. “I know.” He stated, folding his arms and smirking. “That’s why I did what I did. I wanted to see if she was legit… she’s not. At least, not what we’ve been told through mythology, right? If she smites and murders people who do shit like that, then why am I still here? Either the mythology is incorrect, or she’s totally digging me.” He cockily ran a gloved hand through his blonde hair. He then paused, brow furrowing. That feeling was back… he could feel some kind of presence behind him…
With a sudden twist, Bro was facing away from Kiran, katana in the air, paused mid-slash- but nothing was there. The katana-wielder frowned, lowering the weapon slowly, before hearing a voice behind him that didn’t belong to Kiran. “you’re pretty fast, i’ll give you that.”

Bro turned his head back to Kiran to see the skeleton from the throne room leaning against the castle wall behind Kiran. “but you don’t really gotta go slashing and hacking. i just have a question or two.” The skeleton winked, grinning at them. Bro blinked in response, not entirely sure of what to make of this skeleton. “Okay.” He shrugged. “What?
“you like your puppet, right?” Sans asked. The man looked down at Lil’ Cal sitting on the ground, staring blankly ahead. “Uh, yeah. Cal’s the best. What’s it to you?” Sans nodded, pushing himself calmly from the wall, shoving his hands into his shorts pockets. “you know why the adviser merlina and the king don’t like it?” Bro opened his mouth to reply, before pausing. “How would you know about that? You weren’t there.
“we were just outside, actually.” Sans replied. While that seemed like a logical reason and a safe response, Bro kept getting weird vibes from the skeleton, completely unsure what to make of him.

Okay, I’ll play your game.” Bro replied, crossing his arms and smirking. “No. They’re paranoid about something that sounded pretty lame, and compared this perfect puppet to some scabbard.
Sans offered a shrug as he looked lazily toward Kiran.

“your buddy here knows why they did what they did. right?”

Jet
The Subconscious

With one last push, he forced himself to climb as far as he could out of the pit that had been dug for him, only to be gripped by the ankles and pulled back down into the darkness.
Watching reality fade away, his hand lie outstretched.
As if there was any hope for him to escape.

He felt a small hand grab his own, the grip tighter than one would expect as the owner of that hand began to tug back, and surprisingly, the darkness was losing as red light cut through it. The color was vibrant and warm, a sense of security seeming to emanate from it.
It only took a few moments for Jet to be pulled to safety. Frisk stood before him, her brow furrowed as she stared past Jet into the darkness.

*You tell Jet that he’ll be okay.
*It was all just a bad dream.
*You ask him if he’s ready for the real fight.

The darkness began to swirl. Calmly at first, but it quickly began to pick up speed, wind lashing out at them, enough to begin to make them wobble on their feet, particularly Frisk, who was much smaller in every aspect compared to Jet. Out of the darkness before them, a red light began to glow. Just a single sphere of red light. Anything else was impossible to make out, but this red was far different from Frisk’s more soothing one had been, as the color felt cold, practically instilling a feeling of dread and insecurity upon the pair, but Frisk continued to glare defiantly back, determined to prove to Gaster she and her friends wouldn’t be so easily beaten.
The light suddenly fired an equally red beam, the energy scorching through the air. Frisk was quick to jump to the side, tugging on Jet’s arm as she went, pulling him along with her. That light had been a blaster…

Just as that thought crossed her mind, dozens of the cold red lights began to appear in the darkness from every angle, completely surrounding the pair.

*You tell Jet to get whatever defense he can up.
*You stick out your arms and conjure a shield.
*Not like it was completely destroyed by the same tactic minutes ago.
*If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
*Oh wait.

Chara
Goldenwalk - Apartments

Her attack never came. Kyle Marbury held his eyes shut tight, his whole body tensing, tears stinging his eyes, but he still refused to open them. Chara’s smirk faded as her arm was tugged back by a green vine devoid of the usual thorns that accompanied it. With a scowl, she turned around- and disappeared.
It took several minutes of darkness and quietness for Kyle to open his eyes, shaking uncontrollably, and discovered with disgust that he’d wet himself. Luckily the intruders seemed to have vanished... It must have been a bad dream... He quickly scrambled off the couch in search of his parents…

“What did you think you were doing?” Chara glared at Flowey, who sat on an air conditioner unit atop an apartment. “I-It wasn’t necessary.” Flowey argued. “I mean… even you have to admit that was a little overkill… r-right?”
“I’m the one who makes the decisions here, Asriel. Not you. The last time you got to make your own decisions, we BOTH wound up dead.” She started pacing in annoyance. “I-I’m sorry, Chara, I just-”
“It doesn’t matter anymore.” She rolled her eyes. “We should regroup with someone. At the very least that Scorpio buffoon.”
“What about Elidocorc? He likes us.” Flowey suggested, but Chara shook her head. “He likes us because he’s a joke. You can’t be so trusting and work in this line of business. That’s not how it goes. In the end, even the closest of friends will turn on each other.” Her grin returned as she stared intently at the flower. “Of course, you would know all about that, wouldn’t you, Asriel? It’s ‘Kill or Be Killed’, after all.”

Flowey shook his head, his stem wobbling fearfully, though he tried to contain it. “L-let’s just… go find Cecil, I guess… He didn’t seem so bad.”
“Oh please. Elidocorc may be a joke, but Cecil is the punchline. Scorpio was the only one there worth noticing, and even he’s pathetic.” She paused. “However, if you’re sure, we may as well look for him.”
Flowey gulped before letting out a shaky sigh of relief before he and Chara once again vanished.

Master Chief
Specter’s Ship - Hallway

John narrowed his eyes as the strange Engineer-like being formed, its body seeming to quickly melt and deform until he found an identical Spartan standing in front of him, activating an armor lock on itself. He quickly rolled his body to the side just in time to avoid Meta as Chief landed on the ground, twisting about, and rolling back up to his feet in front of the elevator.
The armor lock ended, and Chief watched as his duplicate produced one of those plasma rifles he’d used earlier, and began opening fire. He quickly dodged to the left, and grabbed the knife handle sticking out of the elevator console, ripping it out before diving toward the impostor, dodging more plasma fire as only a couple shots flared his shields.

He sprung up, immediately grabbing the plasma rifle from beneath with his free hand, aiming it up and away as he brought his knee up with a ferocious kick to the gut, powerful enough to break through energy shielding, and enough to distract the Meta for the Hunter, as John could see the green ping on his HUD approaching the two of them before seeing the Hunter himself with a big-ass sword raised, prepared to bring it down on the Meta, who hadn’t yet been able to react to John’s attack.

Ant-Man, Hank Pym, Luis, Doomslayer
Specter’s Ship - Omnidroid Battle

Luis continued to shoot at banana peels, oblivious to what was happening within the van as the screens and tech began to seemingly ‘malfunction’, but Hank knew what was happening. It was an attempted hack, but he always had his own fail safes. Nobody had ever had the kind of tech to actually get through the Pym firewall, and now this weird-looking… thing… was doing just that. Luckily, his personal computer hadn’t acted up. It was disconnected from anything, anyway, and the firewall was much more powerful for it. He quickly pulled open the glove compartment, digging through some papers, but become distracted once again as Luis screamed.

“GIANT ASS MONKEY HAND!” He yelled as the light shining down on them became blocked. Hank looked up from the glove compartment to see a large hand descending down on them. “Just shoot it, Luis, damn.” Hank shook his head, returning his attention to the glove compartment. “...Oh, right, yeah.” Luis grinned, glancing over at Hank. “I was just trying to make sure you weren’t scared, Mr. Pym.” He quickly fired at the hand, and the blast struck it.
The monkey immediately shrunk, disappearing into a mass of banana peels.

Hank pulled something out of the glove compartment, tucking it into his pocket before slamming the door shut and adjusting himself back into his seat, looking back to the screen as he slowed the van to a stop, slamming the visual cord back into its socket with annoyance. “Okay you damn, dirty ape. You want my tech?” He asked Krak, having reengaged visual and audio communication.
He pulled a USB drive from his pocket. “Everything I have is on this drive. Blueprints, schematics, and a lot of other intel. If you want it so bad, you can come here and take it yourself. That’s not the full negotiation, however. You call off your attacks on my people, and instead, we can try to find a way out of here. I have no stakes or claims on your ship, hell, I don’t even want to be here. If I can find a way back home, I’ll take it.”

Vaga ‘Sadum
Sangheilios

News about the fall of High Charity had been surprising and gut-wrenching already, but when word that hundreds of other Flood-infested ships had landed or crashed on Sangheilios, the feeling of helplessness and the loss of hope washed over all of the sangheili. Their homeworld, the place their distant ancestors fought for that they now did the same… It was falling before their very eyes, and death no longer came with honor, as you’d just return as one of the many pawns of the parasites.
Talk was beginning to spread that a planetary evacuation would be put into effect, and the remaining sangheili would continue attempting to survive.

Vaga watched out of the Phantom as several Scarabs erupted in flames, others already destroyed, blue fire rising from their metal frames. Very few Scarabs remained standing, desperately struggling against the Flood onslaught. This entire operation had taken a south turn, and there was no option of redemption.
This was the fall of Sangheilios.

“Commander.” The major from earlier called from deeper in the phantom. Vaga turned his gaze from the losing war to the major, clicking his mandibles. “What is it?” He asked irritably. “Thousands of ships just entered our orbit. They’re trying to hail you, your excellency.”
Vaga waved his hand dismissively, not in the mood for talk. “Transfer the call to the nearest commanding warrior. I believe Field Marshall Bri ‘Filkom should still be kicking."
However, the major shook his head. “You’re the highest ranking warrior on Sangheilios, Commander. The others are all dead.”

Slap to the face after slap to the face after slap to the face. Vaga was left in momentary shock once again. The parasites had attacked not even an hour ago, and all of the major outposts Sangheilios controlled were already overrun? The rank of Commander was surpassed by many others, yet he was the one in charge now!? He let out a snarl, gritting his mandibles tightly. “Very well.” He finally said, giving the major a nod, forcefully calm. "Patch them through."

Name: Pipotron Meta, Krak, G, J
Location: Specter’s Ship.

Meta-chief staggered back as he was kneed in the gut, his twitchy, reptilian eyes materializing through the visor to show his surprised expression, bugging out and looking at something different every quarter Second.

“T-T-This form is USELESS, Gari!!”

What kind of sick joke is this body, Gari?! He can’t shoot fire, fly, go super speeds, summon elements, jump super high, he can’t even do super strength, Gari! No no no, I QUIT, Gari!

Meta, amidst his dissapointment with his new form, caught ping on his HUD. A second red signature, racing quickly toward him at alarming speeds. He looked up, and saw hunter with the look of a demon, approaching him with a sword.

“You might be able to mimic us, but you can’t mimic us both!”

Wha- How did he know that, Gari?!! No no no no, this is not going well at all, Gari! What can I possibly do to combat them, Gari?

Meta examined something behind them both, a factor he had been missing: Cutman. Meta’s eyes, who were poking out of The M-Chief visor turned into a mischevious expression. Soon, his body liquified and began to change shape once more...right as hunter swung in with his deadly sword.

*CLANG!!!”

.....
.....
.....
.....

In the elevator, hunter’s sword had met blade to blade with something new. A rolling cutter had met directly with his blade. Meta, who now stood taking the form of Cutman, or ‘Shears’ as he was so eloquently called, smiled up at Hunter, his distinctive pink lips and yellow eyes visible instead of cutman’s face.

“Your right, Gari. So why not take something better than either of you, Gari?!”

As he was parrying the sword that Hunter had, his head fired off an large rolling cutter towards hunter, which zipped and soared, locking onto Chief specifically. If he dodged, it would zoom back and follow him.

...................

Krak was silent, the genius pipotrons’s grin never fading as all the Krak images on the screens just stared blankly at Pym. G looked curiously at Krak, unsure of what was going on inside her companion’s head.

“Ke....”

Krak stifled a singles laugh.

“KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE!!!!!”

The entire image brigade of kraks on Pym’s screens roared with laughter. Krak himself laughing the hardest and loudest of them. It was like a pit of banshees and hyenas mixed into one, loud, garbled, mess.

“Kekekekeke! Oh ho that’s rich! You see, old man, you think just like me. That’s the problem.” Krak approached closer to the screen. “I’d screw you over in a heartbeat! I’d squeeze the ceasefire for all it was worth before casting you aside! Don’t think you can pull a fast one on me, I am way too intelligent for that! Ciao Human!”

Suddenly, the two canopeks that held the energy barrier up revealed several flaps on their back. Out of them, swarms of Canopeks scarabs scattered across the floor. They rushed toward the tiny van amidst their dealing with the banana field, which was delaying them extensively as it was. The monkey, who was miniaturized, saw the field of scarabs and his helmet blinked red. Alarmed, monkey opened the back of the van and entered inside, abruptly closing it behind itself, sighing in relief that it was ‘safe’

The Wilds
The Nomad pondered for a minute before raising up his hand. He had a solution!
The straw man looked around before running over to and picking up a rock. He quickly clapped, and the rock suddenly sprouted cartoonish eyes and limbs.
The Nomad gestured towards it, the newly-created guardian of the wand.

Keda flinched at Erza's outburst. He could recognize her fury... It was different from how he had seen her before.
This was an anger he did NOT want to be on the receiving end of, and the hunter would keep it that way.
Rex, meanwhile, was being a complete and utter IDIOT. "If you're more of a detriment than a boon to this group, I will leave you to freeze." Keda replied simply. Deep down, he didn't want to leave a single person, but the more realistic side of him knew that Rex could be abandoned if needed.
"It's getting late." Keda said, attempting to change the subject. "We should get some rest."

Camelot Castle, Throne Room
"You're here because it's a strong civilization able to support multiversal refugees, I guess. I dunno what's causing the world-warping." Sonic shrugged. "But this is the kingdom of Camelot."
"Z coming here is entirely possible." Stark said. "But I doubt he's the one who cause all this..."
"I can add some more details on Z. I've got a history with him." Shantae said, stepping forward. "Well not as much as Nathan, but still. Z's a megalomaniac android with a hatred for humanity, and his life goal is to destroy them all and make his 'perfect world'. He's got incredibly advanced tech, a seemingly endless army of robots and a hyper-advanced artificial intelligence known as Omega. INCREDIBLY dangerous, too."
Sonic thought. "Sounds a bit like Neo Metal... I'm afraid we haven't had any contact with him or sightings of anyone like him yet. We won't be able to help."
"That's fine, my lord." Stark nodded his head. "Thank you for the help anyways."
"Gawain can help you find some rooms in the refugee camp." Sonic replied. "It's best that you all share a room with one or two other people to conserve room."
"That's fine with me!" Ruby smiled, hugging her sister's arm.
"We'll figure out how we'll divide up the party ourselves." Tony replied.
"Fine with me. Enjoy your time in Camelot!" Sonic waved them off. Gawain opened the door, leading the way out of the chamber.

Camelot Castle, Interior
Serena flinched back when Bro appeared, trying her best to stay on the other side of Artemis. She didn't like the looks of him... But it was good Artemis was getting to be a bit more tolerant and sociable! And all she needed to do was talk to her. "So, uh..." Serena said as soon as the boys left. "Let's... head to the banquet hall then?"
When the pair entered the large room, they happened to find the man from earlier there. Joseph Joestar had been digging into a large piece of meat.
"Well, if it isn't Ms. Prissy." JoJo scoffed. "What next, are you going to chastise me for being a carnivore?'
"Where do you get off talking like that?!"
JoJo was shocked as Serena walked up, somewhat mad. Serena poked the man in the forehead. "Artemis is TRYING to be more social and accepting, if you'd give her the chance! For your information, we came here to get some FOOD, and never even considered you! If Artemis is Ms. Prissy, then you must be Mr. Ego, since you apparently think the world revolves around yourself and your opinions!"
"Wh- But I-"
JoJo was left speechless for the first time in his life. This was a thirteen-year-old girl TELLING HIM OFF?
Serena huffed, crossing her arms. "Maybe you need to learn the same lesson as her."

Camelot Cave
As Jin chopped up the meat and simmered the food, Lora's mouth began to water. She LOVED him his food and couldn't wait to dig in.
Lucina and Robin were intrigued by the smell, themselves. "That does smell quite delicious..." Lucina said.
"A lot would smell delicious after the Shepards' cooking." Robin chuckled.

As Samus walked outside, a figure appeared in the distance.
A large man, who seemed to be riding a large horse.
As the figure appeared, his worn silver and gold armor accentuated him as he drew closer, a large sword scabbarded at his side.
And his eyes glowed purple.

"Right, sorry!" Peter launched off the wall, beginning to swing around and launch webs.
One part of the roof looked unstable. Bam, web!
Swing and a- Shoot, DON'T swing off of the unstable roof! Peter launched some webs behind himself to fix the instability caused by his swinging before landing on the wall, beginning to hop around. Two of the strands from his webbing fell down towards Logan. Eventually, though, he reached a section too large to hold up with JUST webbing. Spider-Man webbed it as best as he could before turning around and beginning to hold it up with his back. "I-I got this! GO!" he shouted.
Y, meanwhile, began to quietly beep. Nothing the group could notice in their current situation, but...

Dreamland, Green Greens (Infinity Rift)
"I played your games." Alpha replied simply.
"I-In your case, Katsu, I was told your name by... I BELIEVE that voice belongs to my father." Maple replied. "Flint, the multiversal guardian before myself and my brother. He's the one that guided us here, as well."
Kris nodded at Hornet's approach. Ever since the multiverse had been revealed to him, his mind had been tossing and turning... even if SOMETHING inside of him seemed hardly surprised. He felt he needed to help Maple, to ally with the others. They had become friends, yes, like Susie, Ralsei and Lancer had with him. But something did feel off about all of it...

Sequin Land, Risky's Ship
"The name's Rottytops!" Rottytops struck a pose. "Nice to meetcha, Vriska! I wonder what a troll brain would taste like..."

Specter's Ship
"It'd better not." Hope huffed. "This suit's hell to clean!" Hope flew closer to the Omnidroid, flying around and searching for any ports. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to focus on searching with the blasts from the head. "Scott, I need you to lock down the head!"

So he's me now? He can use my Rolling Cutter? Then that means...!
Instead of joining the others in the battle, Cut Man ran AWAY from them. He moved towards a wall before stabbing his Rolling Cutter into it.
The wall was thicker than his Rolling Cutter. Good.
Cut Man began to slash a large segment of the wall open. "HUNTER! I NEED YOU TO ROLL THIS INTO A BALL!" Cut Man said as the large, thick plate of metal fell onto the ground. That guy had super-strength, right?

Far East, Simulation Room "Ruined Japan"
"That's enough. End the simulation."
Japan slowly faded away, leaving only the blank room from earlier. Tsubaki Amamiya stood in her command center. "You're good at this. The Doctor said you would be, but..."

THE VOID
"The Time Stone isn't an independent power."
Silver sadly smiled as he looked down, his mind racing. "It derives its power from my master, Chronos. I can use its full potential because of our bond. You might be able to extract his power, but it wouldn't do you any good, as it would just return to my master and leave the Time Stone a paperweight with a small pocket of Chaos Energy."

Catgirl's Universe
"I might be able to help with that." Haze raised her hand at Doug's suggestion. "My power is the manipulation of Ether. These crystals seem to have a similar energy..."

Ultra Space
"No." Plague replied.
Necrozma launched a volley of Charge Beams out, most quickly deflected by Zan Partizanne. The beast then flew even higher, snatching a crystal from another island. As Zan charged towards him fervently, Dracula called for her to return. The mage quickly soared back on command. Necrozma, meanwhile, began to glow.
"Yes." Plague replied.
"FINALLY!" With a wide grin, Malos leapt into the air, jumping off of large crystals and the edges of other islands to reach Necrozma.
Z-Move: Light That Burns The Sky
Necrozma raised itself upwards, beginning to charge a large ball of energy. It wasn't as big as it could be, but... still fairly devastating.
"MONADO JAIL!"
Then suddenly, red chains surrounded Necrozma, and the energy dissipated. Magic was blocked in the area. Malos leapt into the air before leaping on top of Necrozma and sending him hurtling down.
Plague dashed forwards as well, soon joined by Roman Torchwick, Neopolitan and Adam Tauros.

Yharnam
"Stay down, you damn thing!"
Suddenly, a nearby building wall was bust open by a SECOND Darkbeast. On its back was a man with beard scruff, long black hair, a dirty dark brown cloak with fur lining, a tunic with a family crest on it, and a chain whip - currently wrapped around the beast's neck. The Darkbeast seemed fairly battered and worn, with several ice shards noticeably lodged inside of it. Trevor Belmont strengthened his pull, causing the Darkbeast to stumble forwards, some of the bones around its neck beginning to crack.
An orange-haired woman wearing a blue cloak dashed out from the building behind them, creating and launching more ice shards at the Darkbeast. Sypha Belnades needed to do what she could to help Trevor.

Jet opened his eyes, noticing as he was dragged out of his fears and into reality.
"T-thanks," he replied. He watched at the eyes appeared, and Frisk told him to armor up.
His shield and sword appeared. "Can't we just scram? The others might be facing something worse. They might be closer than I was to being gone."
He swung his shield, shoving a blast to the side with his shield.

UA Students, Soul, Ash, Link
Yharnam
VS. Darkbeasts

"Another one?!" Midoriya exclaimed, looking around at the carnage.
Uraraka backed up behind him. "Deku, we need to do something!"
Midoriya nodded, noticing Iida running around, aiming a kick at the Darkbeast that Dex was restraining.
Wait... Dex.
Midoriya's eyes widened. "Everybody, I got it!"
Soul turned. "What?"
"I can take one of them out, right now!"
Link, about to put on a mask, put it away. "You're kidding; look at the size of it!"
Deku shook his head. "Listen. My power allows me to pool energy into my body and amplify my attacks, or my whole body. I can also limit how much strength goes into a punch, a kick, or even a flick of my fing--"
"Get to the point, kid!" Soul spat back.
"Sorry. With a hit at one hundred percent of my power, I can probably take one of these Darkbeasts out with one punch. I once broke down the top of a mountain with one of my smashes."
"Then why the hell haven't you?!" Soul was about open to anything at this point, despite how unbelievable-sounding.
Midoriya looked down. "Because it'll break my arm."
Finally backing off, Link realized. "So that's how..."
"Yeah. That's how I broke my arm back in Marsielle. But with Dex's sword..."
"...You can fire off as much full-power hits as you want... because the Great Fairy's Sword will continuously heal your body," Link realized. "You're a genius!"
"Well in that case, we need to get that sword," Soul replied, firing arrows at the second's head.
"You think it'll work?" Todoroki asked, firing off a volley of fire at the first.
"It has to. But we need to get everybody away from it before I can use my Quirk."
"Damn, you're right," Soul muttered.
"Why can't we just use an attack now?" Ash cut in.
"Because of pressure. The power to break a mountain down behind a small surface area like his fist will create a focused vacuum."
Midoriya turned. "How did you..."
"You're not the only genius here," he replied, drawing two talismans. "I'll draw the attention of the second away from everybody. We'll worry about the sword later. Then you get those two off of it."
"Think you can do that alone?" Todoroki asked.
"I'm a gladiator. I've done worse."
Link, now in Fierce Deity form, drew his sword. "You three," he pointed at Midoriya, Todoroki, and Soul. "The rest of us'll take care of the second one."
The two boys and the living soul nodded, before spring into action.
Soul ran to the left, crumpling his talismans and summoning two yoga ball-sized fireballs.
"OVER HERE, YOU ROTTING CORPSE!!!" he cried, swinging his sword and launching them.
Todoroki slammed his right foot down, shooting ice to hold down the beast's legs.
Midoriya looked to the guy on the Darkbeast. "YOU NEED TO GET OFF OF IT!!! PLEASE!!!"

The meadow around him may have been nothing but a powerful memory, but it felt as real as the unrelenting pain in his forehead. Not like any kind of pain he’d ever felt- it wasn’t regret, or rage. He wasn’t sure what he was feeling.

He paused, wondering why he was here. What was he expected to do? Destroy the universe again?

He stared down at the ground below him. He gently pushed slid his foot across the dark green grass, remembering how he and Lily always used to play here in their youth.

That was over, though. It was one of the last good memories that managed to hang onto the deepest parts of his mind. It was so difficult to recall.

Why couldn’t he relive that memory? Why couldn’t he relive any of the good things?

Why was the universe so unfair?

He blinked a few times, unsure of what to do next. He placed both hands on his forehead, before taking a seat on the ground- trembling with that cold, unfamiliar feeling.

“Well, you’re right about one thing,” Noah grit his teeth. “Money and power are used to control people. And that thief- Seto- stole all that power from me. That goes to show how far people will go for it. I was next in line. I waited years for my turn. I even forced myself to enjoy my father’s lessons. I was so willing to be the corporation’s next sun- but then, I was eclipsed.”

He sighed, figuring Belowski hadn’t grasped a single word of that. “That’s all far from relevant right now, though. Belowski, are you going to unlock my cell or not?”

Belowski titled his head at the sadnes green haired boy before him. Trying to process what was being spoken to him, the obelisk blue just smiled upside down at Noah.

“Hey man, the universe always comes around. It knows our souls and minds dude. No use worrying about the past if you can ponder the further and live in the present.”

“That’s all far from relevant right now, though. Belowski, are you going to unlock my cell or not?”

Belowski, still on the bars was up in the corner hummed, seemingky ignored the locked door. That’s when a pair of the rusted bars gave way that he was climbing on, revealing a small hole for a small human to weasel through....if they could get that high up. Belowski hung his upper body down inside the cell and smiled goofily down at Noah with his hand stretched out.

“See? The universe provides.”

Noah wanted to pinch himself. The guy had broken the bars by mistake, and claimed it was the universe looking out for them. Such foolishness…

Nonetheless, he was free. He reached, taking Belowski’s hand and climbing out of the cell. When he exited, he dropped down, landing on his feet.

“I may not buy all that nonsense about the universe providing for us,” he stated, “but I suppose I owe you a thanks.”

He then turned around, brushing some dust from his shoulder. “Judging from your actions and behavior, you’re clearly not one of this place’s foolish protectors,” he declared, trying to keep his voice down. He was unsure as to why he was still sticking around- he had half a mind to just take off and find a good hiding spot. If he was going to get his cards back, he needed a plan. A really good plan.
With any luck, they’d still be at the gate.

“Before I go into hiding, Belowski, there’s one thing I want to ask you,” the teal haired boy said. “Where are you from?”

Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot Dungeon.

After helping Noah up from his prison, Belowski’s sandals landed down on the floor with a pair of clicks. He yawned, looking over to Noah as the young Kaiba made the connection that he wasn’t a guard of some kind, or ‘protector.’

“Nah dude, there ain’t nothin’ here to protect except love and zen.”

“Before I go into hiding, Belowski, there’s one thing I want to ask you,” the teal haired boy said. “Where are you from?”

“I come from an island called duel academy, it’s pretty chill there. Haven’t really been to the surface much to see it though. I’ve mainly been with my monsters unraveling the secrets of the universe man. We have so many deep talks, we are totally in synch.”

Belowski titled his head, his lazy eyes falling on Noah’s. The latter’s eyes seemed worried, afraid, angry, or a mix of the above. Belowski noticed this.

“For a dude who’s so eager to leave, You don’t sound like you have a place to go.”

“It isn’t about having a place to go. It’s about having something to get,” Noah stated as he began thinking about a plan. He could always just go and hide in a bush. He needed a really good hiding spot though, somewhere nobody would expect… if they found out he was missing, it was likely that there would be a search. And if his cards went missing, he could have trouble on his hands.

“My cards. I’m going to go and get them. Nobody’s going to stop me, either- especially not that foolish Percival.”

The teal haired boy then ran a hand through his hair.

“You know what? I’ll kill two birds with one stone here, Belowski. I’ll give you a chance to prove to me that your suspicions about the universe providing for us are true. What do you think I should do? Shall I go into hiding, and execute my plan when the time is right? Or, shall I get myself an audience with the king right now? If the universe is looking out for us, surely you’ll make the right decision.”

Noah looked at the obelisk blue, awaiting an answer. He took note that they were around the same height.

Belowski titled his head, pondering the though of what Noah had just said to him. Noah seemed really frustrated not having these cards on hand, and it seemed to be taking a toll on the younger Kaiba.

“They took your cards? Man that’s a bummer...” Belowski spoke. “But you got it all wrong dude, you can’t bargain with the universe.”

A smile came across Belowski’s Face as he began walking in a single direction. His sandals making faint clicks as he touched on the moist stone.

“I just go where my heart takes me. Let the universe take the reigns man, unwind. It’s not in your control so why not enjoy the ride? That’s how I found you broseph!”

Belowski stifled a chuckle, walking backwards toward a stone staircase that lead to an upper floor, the way Belowski got down here in the first place

Noah then made up his mind. He was going to get an audience with Percival. Then, if his plan worked, then he’d get an audience with the king himself. And if that happened, and the king was wise enough to listen to his demands, then he’d get his cards back in no time.

“Leaving, hm?” Noah raised an eyebrow. “I can’t say I blame you. Don’t let anyone know you freed me, understand? It would be a shame if you got caught in the crossfire of this kingdom’s idiocy.”

And with that, Noah turned and began descending the opposite staircase, making sure nobody was watching him. The only guard in sight was near the foot of the castle- perfect. He could work with this layout.

As he walked, the finer details of Noah’s idea began to form. He could definitely see it working, admittedly through the obvious bias. Still, it was a rather promising tactic that had yet to fail him in the past.

“You there,” Noah said to the guard upon reaching the twentieth step up. The guard looked at him.

“Hold it, aren’t you the one who attacked us with those creatures earlier? How did you-“

“Silence!” Noah growled. “I want you to get me an audience with Percival- immediately! As soon as you possibly can!”

“And if I don’t? Why shouldn’t I just return you to the dungeon and report this to my superiors?” the guard snapped back.

“Because. You’re not in control. See, I have a monster active as we speak. I knew I’d meet resistance from you fools. Therefore, I summoned one- discreetly- before my imprisonment. You can’t see him- but my monster is watching. He can destroy you in an instant.”

“Those big creatures… you have one of them ready to destroy me right now?” the guard blinked.

“Indeed.”

The guard instantly bailed on his tough attitude. “I’ll get you an audience with Percival,” he stated.
