Private/Closed Beatdown

"What's your ETA?"
"Not long. Have to remember to thank Donut for that new scanner."
Penny smiled, her headset blinking as she flew through the skies on her hover board. Getting a close-up of the area, she saw the temple she knew so well. "The Temple of Gaia. Feels like it's only been a few months since I was last here."
"It has been only a few months."
"Whatever." Penny said cheekily, increasing the speed of her hover board. She flew towards the temple. "I've got a clear reading. It looks like a Yin fragment."
"Perfect." CN said over the comm. "I'm approaching FutureTech now. I'll call you back once I have the fragment."
"See ya, bro!" Penny said cheerily and CN hung up. The temple was now in clear view, and Penny decelerated her hover board. As soon as she reached the temple, she jumped off and took out her scythe, using it to safely gun-float down to the bottom. The hover board flew in front of her and she closed it into the compact rectangle that hung on her belt as she walked in, scythe on her back.

A young lady, dressing up for battle, heard her machine whir to life. Next to her was the portal device, capable of taking her anywhere within reason. She had no idea of its capabilities, but she knew it could teleport within a dimension. She was going to test if she could teleport to another dimension, which would put a lot of strain on the machine. Hopefully her friend will be able to fix it to create the portal and bring her back. This machine had turned on and was making diagnostic checks to find any bugs or viruses.

This lady, known as Marija (Mar-ee-yah), or Mara for short, put her hair in a ponytail, her weapons on her back, as well as her mechanical exo-suit in backpack form capable of hooking up to her nervous system. She tightened all the straps on her body and put her comm system in her ear. She turned it on, hoping that she could hear everyone from a dimension over. She did tweak it for it to happen, but she doesn't know if it would work. It should work, but this is the only viable test option.

She took out her shurikens, throwing daggers, and swords and began to clean them one last time before sheathing them and making a portal. The machine shook and whirred, almost straining to create something so complex. Hopefully the Australium core and battery would allow it to not falter. If not, then she'll be stranded in another universe until her friends could fix it. She left a note on the counter about the coordinates of where she's going and took her contracts with her just in case. The portal finally opened, and it was a strange color, maybe because it broke through the veil and void to take her there. She breathed in and out, calming herself before jumping into this crazy ride.

She hopped in and saw everything whiz by so fast, but with the absence of air. She felt almost non-existent. All the black holes and then the void. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see it all. She then felt air brush up on her and she opened her eyes, seeing that she's near the exit. She smiled and prepared to land.

Her impeccable landing and timing skills won and she landed without any injuries. She saw the place was covered in dust and she wiped off the dust from her dark RED suit. She saw a fragment sitting on a podium and picked it up. It gave off a cold energy, and it was black with a white dot. She thought it reminded her of some symbol back in her Earthly home. She looked around and saw how ancient this was. Since this place felt a lot like Earth's she thought that the machine must've broke and forced her in another place.

Then she saw the lady up ahead... She saw the gleaming of the scythe and the hoverboard becoming a compact rectangular prism before clipping onto the woman's belt. Mara smirked and thought she remembered her from a contract. She took a peak at her contracts that she brought with her just in case the machine failed at bringing her to another dimension and saw the same woman, labeled as "Dangerous!!". Mara guessed she was wanted for some horrible crime, or this was her dimensional counterpart. Either way, putting both possibilities on hold, she pocketed the Yin fragment and crossed her arms, looking smug at the woman before her.

"Uh, I just saw you take that fragment..." Penny said. "Do you think you might be able to hand that over, miss? I may or may not need it to, y'know, save the world from a multi-dimensional artificial god."

Surprised that they used the same language and not the fact that there was a multi-dimensional artificial god, she looked at the Yin fragment from her pouch and looked back at the woman. She chuckled, seeing that she was one herself and shouldn't be so rude. She went into a fighting stance and pulled out her twin swords. She replied with a snarl: "You're going to have to kill me to get it, and ohhh... That's going to be difficult."

She growled at the lady like an animal. Something in her seemed to shift from her smugness to almost complete insanity. Her eyes dilated, and the blue color of her iris began to have a slight tint of yellow from the Australium stirring within her. Her skin began to glow slightly as the Australium began to combine with her skin at a molecular level, making her skin tougher to penetrate. Something began glowing underneath her skin, right below her collarbone. Whatever this was, it was front of the heart, and it pulsated, like it had a mind of its own.

Her head twitched and went back, suddenly her face changed to a dull, but sadistic smirk. Her voice became calmer than before when she spoke: "You mind if we want some fun, too, Mara?"

Her head twitched and her face turned back to normal- well... Before the first twitch. She smiled and nodded, agreeing with herself... One would guess. Then her irises became golden from the Australium as little black dots surface on her iris. They looked like more pupils, but those are just her way of saying all 7 of her personalities are going to battle this out, controlling this body in tandem to win.

"…oh. So we're doing this that way, then." Penny said, taking out her scythe and unfolding it to full length. "Listen, nindroids and crazy cultists are already the kind of shit I have to deal with these days. I've also killed the equivalent of a god. And I'm having a pretty bad day. So if you could just hand over the artifact and leave, I won't have to completely eviscerate you. Because I totally can."

Mara laughed maniacally and hysterically, her head and torso flung back as she laughed. She stopped suddenly and then slowly bent forward, like she was a puppet of some kind. She replied by saying in a shrilly, screechy voice: "Then this shall be interesting, as I have cheated Death and the Devil!" She shambled on over to her, almost unsteadily. She looked like she had no balance, but in actuality, she's just acting like she had no balance.

"Oh, so you're one of those types. Perfect." Penny said, slamming her scythe into the ground in front of her… and firing off a volley of sniper shots from the end of the sniper, about a dozen in fact. Penny then lifted her scythe and switched it to gunblade mode, running-and-gunning to fill her foe with lead.

Mara, as soon as Penny slammed her scythe down, she jumped and twisted in the air, corkscrewing horizontally and then landing. Everything felt like she was going slow. She saw Penny switch modes and decided to run toward her, jumping this way and that. She used the pillars from the temple to jump up on, and then dove toward Penny, her swords in front of her as she went for the neck.

Penny saw what Mara was doing and slid to the ground, maintaining her momentum while streaking underneath the attacking fighter. While sliding she let loose another volley of lead before rolling to her feet and switching her weapon to Scythe mode again.

The lead impacted her stomach, ripping through her body. She tumbled and rolled before she got up. She held her stomach in pain. Something shifted in her brain, and her body became limp. Her wound began to glow and slowly heal as she went back into a fighting stance. She put her hands to her sides and dashed forward, throwing ninja shurikens at her opponent.

That attack from her didn't exactly hurt her too much. She's felt rockets hit her face straight on and those hurt, but didn't exactly damage her too much. She thought that this was going to be easy, but cursed herself for thinking like an arrogant kid. This lady hasn't given up, yet, and hasn't shown all of her tricks. She attacked with caution.

Penny, jumping off the ground, began twirling. The stars she couldn't dodge she sliced right in half with her scythe. She flew towards her foe, raising her scythe to bring it crashing down right towards her enemy's skull.

The hit landed, but it only rattled her brain inside, which is also infused with whatever's protecting her skull. A part of her head cuts open and there's this golden metal infused with her bones. She got up quickly and laughed at her attempt at crushing her skull. She had to admit that it actually hurt a little, but this metal had been infused with just more than Australium. She grabbed her opponent's scythe swiftly, looking like a blur, and attempted to use her scythe for leverage as she flipped up above her opponent. She thought that maybe toying and tiring her out would be a funny idea.

"...really?" Penny said, holding the scythe up above her head. Her opponent had just locked herself in the perfect position to be hit with several volleys of fire from the scythe's gun that she couldn't possibly dodge. Penny fired off five shots before transforming the scythe to shake her off and stabbing at her with the greatsword.

Mara twisted around, dodging most of them and getting grazed a bit from one or two of the shots, but she didn't care. Thankfully, her flexible and powerful core kept her safe from a bunch of damage. She swung down and attempted to hit her with her knee as soon as she lost her leverage point, aiming for the mid back area. She hoped she can severe her spine in half. She has kneed a building wall down, so this shouldn't be too hard.

Penny took the hit. However, her skeleton was solid titanium, so it held, causing more damage to Marija than to her. Penny shot at Mara again, allowing the knockback to send her sailing across the temple. She took out three glowing capsules, crushing all of them in her hand. Instantly, her back wound repaired itself. "Want to try that again?" she asked smugly, throwing out a wave of shurikens.

Mara was surprised by the skeleton being what it was. She thought this was going to kill her. She already instigated the battle, so she can't lose now. She saw the shurikens and smirked. All she does all day long is catch projectiles. She caught the shurikens and threw them back at her with pinpoint accuracy. She pressed a button on her mecha-pack and bat wings sprout out, connecting with her nervous system. A tail came out, as well, and hooked on to her sacrum. She growled at the pain of adding more limbs. She decided to go all out this time. She needed to get rid of her. The core on her chest glowed and spikes appeared all over her body, her head grew two horns and her joints had sharp thorns push through her skin. Her other tail came out, as well, and one more pair of wings popped out, them being bird wings. Her teeth and claws grew longer from the Australium and her eyes glowed with a malicious intent. Long claws came out of her wrists and stretched a foot past her hands. A helmet came from her backpack and covered a bit of her head and nose, protecting her from flying.

She flew into the air quickly, after her transformation took only 5 seconds. She then dove towards Penny with surprising speeds, before swerving off towards a pillar, then banking up, then diving towards Penny again.

Penny caught the stars, shoving them back in her kit, before seeing the transformation. "Ooh! Interesting!" she said, dashing towards the transformed fighter. Penny predicted her movements, jumping up in the air and landing on her back. She took off her glove, touching the exposed electronics and concentrating.
Shut down. Completely. Everything - SHUT DOWN.

Since the electronics were connected to her nervous system, it did more pain to her than shutting it down. There were no cores or generators of any kind, and the electrical shock of getting another signal from another source caused Mara's body to glow with electricity, as she absorbed it. She quickly twirled around in the air and grazed her back against the pillar to get her off, the electricity cloaking her body. She must've disrupt the battery, as it was going hay-wire and shocking Mara. Thankfully for her, Mara could use the electricity to her advantage.

Penny held on, not getting shaken off by the attack. So this doesn't work like I thought it did, huh? But it's a suit, so- wait. Penny had a realization, but was shocked by electricity. The electrocution made her lose her grip, and she landed on the ground. She smiled, standing up and waving a hand. "Come at me."

Mara chuckled and instead threw sharp feathers cloaked with electricity from her wings at Penny, knowing that if she got anywhere near her, she'll lose her energy. Also, she swung her tail at Penny, a beam of electrical energy escapes her and speeds toward her target. She didn't want to end up quitting this fight, but she thought back to her family back at home. She even wondered if she'll survive. Hopefully, they won't be too upset with her loss.

Penny used her scythe to send the feathers clinking harmlessly to the ground and redirected the electricity, sending it flying into the sky. She reached to grab Mara's tail, attempting to use it to send her flying into the wall.

Mara chuckled and used her now mecha legs (covered by her exo-suit) and grapple on to her shoulders and head as the talons try their best to pierce through. Unluckily, for Mara, she realized that Penny wasn't going all out. She could feel a sense of dread. She hoped that she could survive for the portal to open. She really needed to get out of there.

Penny got hit by the talons, but cracked some more H-Capsules and was back to full. She grabbed the armor, trying a new strategy. Overload. Super charge. Build up enough energy that you can't possibly contain it! OVERLOAD!

Mara chuckled maniacally and wrapped her tail around that cube of a hoverboard, transferring the electricity to her device as she began to build up with electricity. Thankfully, there were pockets of empty batteries within her body to store all of it, but it managed to hurt her a bit. Outside of the window, she could see it was getting closer to night. She saw the moon becoming slowly uncovered by the blanket of clouds. She realized that it was a full moon. She hoped that she could get out of the way in time for her transformation, or else her and Penny are in for a more shocking surprise. (Ba-dum tssh!)

"Grr... Stop being so damn STUBBORN!" Penny said, unfazed as her hoverboard exploded. She took out her scythe, fully extending its edge, and sent it straight towards the center of Marija's chest.

Mara saw the blow coming and quickly bent backwards, diving underneath Penny's feet as she flipped both of them around and let go of Penny. She watched her hurtle away as she began to feel the same painful feeling of the transformation.

Fur began to appear on her body and they bristled up, revealing metallic tips that were sharp to the touch. Her Australium bird wings made room for her other pair of bird wings. She took off her weapons, as they were keeping her from transforming completely. Her pack and weapons fell to the ground, leaving holes in her back and neck from the attachment points. A scaly tail sprouted beside her Australium one and a large feather appeared on the tip. It transformed to a scythe and her neck, body, arms and legs became longer.

Spines cover her back and mainly her spine, and her teeth became canine-like, while her head fox-like. Her ears also became fox-like with the tips having tufts of hair on them, like a Lynx. She screamed in agony as her physiology changed, and then her voice box began to change, turning her scream into a horrifying screech. The chip on her stomach deactivated and the pain from her stomach caused her to curl in pain. The same feeling of wanting human flesh devoured her mind, and she became a soulless beast at this point. She barked like a dog, and then yipped like a fox.

Her hands and feet became paws and large claws sprout from the tips of her fingers and toes. Her body, legs and arms took the form of a limber cat. Her ferocity were on par of a starving wolf, while still retaining a bit of the humanity and smarts she had before the change. Her pupils became slits. She landed on the ground with a thump, growling menacingly toward Penny. She towered over her, standing on her hind feet, her core still glowing, but now a smaller target compared to her new body. The core began to glow more as the electricity welled up in her body. She slashed her chest open to reveal the core and a beam of concentrated electrical energy she had absorbed throughout this entire team shot straight at Penny. Hoping to finally hit her.

"OH SHIT!" Penny said, seeing the massive electrical blast flying towards her. She raised her scythe to brace herself, but was sent flying into the wall.

"...ow. That actually really hurt." Penny said, getting out of the wreckage bleeding in many areas. "But now that I see this, you're too dangerous to be allowed to roam free. Surrender's no longer an option."
"Time to go all-out!" Penny said, floating up in the air. She curled up as the ethreal shapes of two dragons swirled around her before transforming into the Yin-Yang symbol, which Penny burst through radiating an aura of pure draconic and godly power.

Mara snarled at this transformation. Obviously, she knew that she was done for, but she won't give up this fight. She somersaulted into the air and slashed at her with her scythe-tail, hoping to have hit her. Right afterwards, she put her claws out, hoping to have hit her with something. She even put her head down to either headbutt or protect her core.

Penny slammed her fists together, creating an explosion of light that sent all of the scattered rubble in the room flying. She punched towards the claws with her right hand - if it hit, the claws would instantly shatter.

Mara saw that the fist was imbued with light and explosive power. She became startled and immediately retracted her paws from their destination, but not before the fist caused one of her claws to shatter. Her tail failed to hit, and she somersaulted to the ground. She used her tail to spring herself to the entrance. She flew with both wings out of the temple for some breathing room. She looked back to see if she was still being followed. She saw that she was on top of a mountain and began to fly around the temple, undoubtedly attracting a lot of attention, if there were anyone else alive nearby.

Penny merely PUNCHED THE AIR, using the explosions to propel herself up to the same level as Marija. She went above her, drop-kicking towards Marija at blinding speeds with her Yang foot.

Mara couldn't dodge as it was too fast, but she grabbed her foot and flipped around with Penny on the bottom. She purposefully made herself more aerodynamic to fall even faster. It was during this time that maybe having Penny so close to her chest was a bad idea, since she had forgotten until now that she had just exposed her core. She was in for some deep trouble, so she reached down to her and tried biting her, her serrated sharp teeth waiting for the chance to shear flesh.

Penny was flipped over, knowing that the two were now careening towards the side of the mountain. Penny knew she could take it, so her main worry was the next few seconds. Her foe was trying to bite her, and Penny was hit in the right shoulder. She yelped in pain for a second before winding back her Yang fist and sending an attack flying straight towards the exposed core, hoping to connect and shatter it completely.

The hit landed, sending pieces of shattered metal towards the inside of her chest, causing internal damage. The core began to glow brightly and let loose one more blast of energy before dying. This blast shot right before they hit the mountainside, causing a plume of rubble and dirt to fly. Mara didn't exactly notice too much when she bit in her shoulder. Her blood tasted sweet and her eyes became black soulless sockets. She bites down harder, not wanting to let go. She tried her best to rip her shoulder right off her body, wanting the sweet taste of flesh to quell her painful stomach.

Penny got up, practically unfazed by the crash. However, she did notice her foe seemingly going insane. It looked like she was in indescribable, unending pain. Penny sighed. "Sorry to have to do this to you. But it's time to end this." Penny began gathering her energy, and the black and white light around her gathered into the shape of two dragons circling her right fist. She yelled, dashing forwards towards Marija with her Dragon Punch.

Mara, feeling the powers of her suit waning away, she could feel the Australium strip from her body. She became weaker. When the punch hit, she made one last chance to bite off Penny's head. Her maw chomped down, hoping to have caught her. Her life, however, faded, and she soon plummeted to the ground, with one last breath indicating that she had bid farewell.

The bite hit the air, as the knockback pushed the limp body away. Penny sighed. She then saw her scythe slowly rolling down the mountain, and ran over to catch it. She walked back over to the body and pulled out the artifact. "Wait, huh? Looks like this is a Yang artifact, actually. Must have been mistaken... I'd better call CN." Penny took out her comm, which had miraculously survived the struggle. "Hey, CN? You there?"
"Hey, Penny! I - urgh - can't take your call right now! Call ya back later!" CN said. Penny heard an explosion before CN cut off.
"Wait, what?! And me without my hoverboard!" Penny said, collapsing her scythe and folding up her gear before sliding down the side of the mountain.

BATTLE 1 - END

''Okay, there is something useful here?'' Sonic asked himself. He was alone in this mission, but he liked to think that Tails was here. Sonic walked to the center of the Air temple, and something surprised Sonic. There was an Artifact that looked like a Chaos Emerald in a pedestal it. ''So, there is a Chaos Emerald here! I'm not surprised, but I'm going to need this.'' Sonic said running down to the pedestal and taking the Emerald. ''So, there is no Badniks or any other crazy machine of Eggman here? Weird, but I'm okay with that.'' He asked looking at the Emerald. ''So I'm just going to leave this place.'' He said to himself preparing to get out of the place. It was disgusting and weird.
