Private/Closed Battle-Tech University. Trainer School RP

Gabriel wakes up to her phone vibrating viciously. Absol is batting at it with his paw, confused. She whispers a good morning to him, kisses him on the head and turns off her phone alarm. Plusle and Minun are sitting on her roommates bed, eating the pile of nuts she brought back last night. "Morning you two." She smiles, and moves the pile of nuts to the floor so they are easier to get to. She grabs some black ripped jeans, and a white t-shirt out of her bag to wear as well as her black choker necklace to match the jeans. She admires herself in the mirror, tucks her purple streak behind her ear and sets off for first class, Plusle and Minun riding Absol as usual.

As she walks, Gabriel scrolls through her PDA, talking casually to the Pokemon next to her. "It says here that all C-track students, that's me, have Regional Studies with Professor Larch first. Huh, cool. Room 1123, which I guess is this way." She arrives outside the classroom and checks inside, it is completely empty. She checks her PDA again, "Its 7 o'clock guys, wanna go explore the campus some more before class?" Absol, Plusle and Minun all nod and make excited noises. Gabriel smiles and continues walking down the hallway, checking every classroom as she goes.

Charles got out of his bed after realizing that the Squirtle was nowhere seen on the bed, as he called, "S- Squirtle? Where are you? You shouldn't exactly be running around like that..."

"S- Squirt?" The Squirtle replied while turning towards his trainer. He gulped when his trainer picked him up, as the Bagon was still asleep on the bed. The Bagon was recalled back into his ball while the Squirtle was gently placed down on the bed. The Squirtle watched his trainer getting ready for the day while wondering what today had to offer for him. Maybe there would be a battle sometime later that could allow him to redeem himself, or perhaps there could be the very teacher droning on for hours on end.

Either way, it seemed as if the Squirtle had to find out for himself, as he was cradled in his trainer's arms after noticing that his trainer was ready in a matter of about ten minutes. After checking to make sure that not a single thing of necessity was forgotten, his trainer walked out of the room with the door locking after Charles and his Pokémon left their dormitory.

The Squirtle swiftly scanned the hallway his trainer arrived in shortly after, as the Squirtle gulped the moment when he noticed a girl walking within the area. He withdrew his body into his shell while hoping that the bandages on his body would not attract too much attention from anyone.

Chris was extremely tired, and deeply regretted taking a midnight stroll the night before. He reluctantly dragged himself out of bed and checked which class was first. He then proceeded on to find Room 1123, which to his surprise, was empty. Chris thought to himself: Looks like I’m early....Well, I might as well just wait here until everyone else arrives.

Clair was at the entrance it the BTU "I finally made it..." she said to her small Aron that had found a place to sleep on top of her head, she entered and smiled, finally feeling proud that she had managed to get there. She went to the dorms and checked her phone, seeing she got a email telling her what dorm she was in since she wasn't there yesterday, she went up to her door and knocked on the door seeing she didn't have a key

Alan left his room quietly as his roommate was still sound asleep and made his way downstairs to the cafeteria.
The cafeteria was filled with people the chatter echoed through the tiled room with its vaulted ceiling making Alan’s ears ring. Making his way quickly to the buffet line he grabbed a bowl of dry cereal and an energy drink. Making his way out of the cafeteria with the bowl in hand he pours the energy drink over the cereal and proceeds to eat. ‘Breakfast of champions...’ he thinks to himself as the moving sidewalk guides him towards the Acedemic Hall.

The acedemic building was one of the largest building on campus aside from the Convention centers. Several flights of stairs lead past a large marble statue of the Pokémon Mew. Past that large Greek pillars held up the enormous stone entry way above the large arched door emblazoned with the BTU logo. The blue fires of a Mega Charizard with the words
(Battle-Tech University)
(Perfecting Excellence)
inscribed within.
The building itself was Five stories tall each floor ringed by reflective windows shielding the students inside from the intense morning light on the roof a green chain link fence could be seen enclosing the area.

Passing several students in the doorway Alan had a look around the entrance hall. The high vaulted ceilings were strewn with all manner of banners and awards, records made by students past while the walls were lined with glass display cases filled with the trophies badges and picture of accomplished BTU trainers.

Alan's wonder was cut short by another wave of nausia as he began making his way towards the classroom. "First floor... room 1123" he reminded himself as he walked down the hallways quietly counting off the numbers "1119...1120...1121...1122...1123"
Above the doorway a green plaque read "Professor Larch" Alan nodded to the placque before entering the room.

The room was arranged in a half circle around a podium and a large electronic board. The seats in the lecture hall were stacked like bleachers each row higher than the one before it. In the corner of the room the professor can be seen at his desk. He is a pudgy balding man. Face wrinkled with lines of stress though it was unlikely that he was any older than 40. The man was wearing a tight blue button up shirt with corduroy pants and if he had noticed Alan enter the room he payed him no mind.

Alan made his way up the rows of seats towards the back where he took a spot in the corner and sat down. Removing his class materials from his backpack before putting his head down and waiting for class

OOC: sorry if it might be short on my phone

BIC: Mike went back to his room and drank a bit of his,'Sleepy Medicine.' Then he returned all his Pokémon into their Pokéballs and laid on his bed. After a few minutes he passed out.

He woke up and realized he didn’t change. Then he shrugged and went into an orange sweater, and kept his jeans. Mike went down to the cafeteria and got some bacon and eggs for breakfast. He sat down and quickly ate it, a bit too fast. He then left and headed to room 1123, homeroom.

He started staring at the teacher nearly as soon as he entered, but he quickly felt something bad in his stomach. “Excuse me,” Mike said as he went to a trash can out of the room. Then he started vomiting inside it. “I knew I shouldn’t have done that last night. Breakfast today made it even worse,” he thought as he popped a tic tac. Then he went back in class and sat near the back.

Asseylum managed to make a mental map of where everything is at in the few hours she explored. "Let's call it a day!" She claimed to fennekin. She made her way back to the girls dormitories, where she grabbed food and went back to her room. Ralts and Amaura came out and we're playing some sort of game, while Asseylum got ready and was brushing fennekin's fur. After a while, they all settled down and quickly fell asleep.

The next day, Asseylum woke up to a buzzing PDA, which had a reminder for her first class. She looked at the time, which read 6:00. "I still have time," she whispered. She quietly, and slowly, got ready and slipped out the door to grab food. As she entered, she noticed a lot of kids who were all busy eating and talking. She went to the counter, grabbed her food, and sat at an empty table. Her Pokemon came out and we're eating their fill of food, while Asseylum studied her surroundings. Eventually, she finished, and left for her class.

Zeph extended his hand out just as Alan collapsed onto his charred bed, his head beside his knocked out Pokémon. Taking all precautions, Zeph was relieved to find that Alan was still breathing. "There is absolutely no way in heck I'm going to live like this, totally going to ask for a room transfer."

After calling up the administration on his PDA he was moved to room 317. While he was still concerned about Alan's team burning the place down, at least his stuff was less likely to be incinerated. After being moved in he crashed on his unburnt bed and fell asleep.

The next morning Zeph woke up to find his new roommate sound asleep. Trying not to disturb him, he quickly got dressed and headed out the door while adjusting his tie.

He made his way to the cafeteria, making sure to chat with anybody willing to talk in line. After selecting some fruit and a protein shake he proceeded to sit down with a ragtag group of first years which Zeph found to be pretty cool yet didn't really hit him as friend material.

After finishing his short breakfast he casually made the walk to his first class of the day, Regional Studies in room 1123 with Professor Larch. Not wanting to go into the actual classroom as it was still kind of early, Zeph elected to lean on a nearby wall until the beginning of class.

Seeing as her introduction with Alexis was short and to the point, Atty's only option was to fall asleep after spending the rest of the evening unpacking. She kept her Pokemon out, the trio opting to curl up in bed with her due to their smaller sizes.

When morning came, she got up a bit earlier than normal, just to make sure she could get a shower in and properly do her makeup. She kept quiet, knowing that Alexis was still sleeping, minding her own business and going over the schedule she had recieved last night. 1123, Regional Studies. With her Pokemon now awake, she called them back into their balls, making her way out. With a quick stop to the cafeteria for an apple, she was out the door in no time.

Finding the class was easy enough, the various groups of other Freshmen being a dead giveaway. Although it was a bit early, she peeked through the doorway, deciding to head inside since others were already in there. She took her seat, pulling out her laptop to set things up and pass the time.

Charles decided to head over to the cafeteria to grab himself some breakfast after the Squirtle had enough of withdrawing his body into his shell. Knowing that the Bagon would be picky to most types of food anyway and still being asleep in his ball, Charles grabbed a cold, homespun chicken breast sandwich and a can of lemonade for himself. He also politely took three pieces of shortbread carefully wrapped to perfection along with two bottles of pure water.

Two pieces of shortbread and the water bottles were deposited into the leather bag after Charles allowed himself onto the moving sidewalk to lead him towards the Academic Hall. The Squirtle cautiously ate the shortbread after slowly peeling off the wrapper, sniffing the parallelogram-shaped biscuit and feeling the smooth texture for a good two minutes. The Squirtle watched his trainer devouring his sandwich while noticing his trainer already taking a swill of lemonade after the sandwich was finished within half the time for the Squirtle thoroughly inspecting the shortbread of his.

Soon after the Squirtle and his trainer finished their breakfast, the Squirtle took a brief look around the Entrance Hall. His trainer walked past the various cases filled with a diverse arrangement of merits for the trainers that accomplished this university and even some that went above and beyond the others. The Squirtle gulped when his trainer arrived at the room with a plaque in a shading of modest green reading, "Professor Larch."

The Squirtle's body shook when his trainer entered the classroom, as the seats were arranged in a staircase fashion, each lower row preceding the next upper row there was until no more rows were anterior to the last. The Squirtle winced at the man's hair becoming balder by the years, as his trainer decided to sit in the seat of the first row closest to the classroom's entryway. The Squirtle took a mental note of his trainer swiftly taking out all materials deemed necessary for the first course of the day. The Squirtle and his trainer patiently waited for the period to start while hoping that not too much attention would be directed towards the bandages the Squirtle had on.

Asseylum managed to find the academic building, even without it's noticable features. She walked by many new students who seemed to be heading to the same room. She traveled down a long hallway, counting each room number until she reached her classroom. She looked inside and noticed there was a fair amount of students inside, so she entered. As she entered, Amaura broke out of his pokeball and claimed a seat on the highest row. She made her way up each row, paying attention to each of the students she would have to know. Once she made it up, she set her stuff down and waited for the class to start.

(Sorry I blacked out I had to take care of somethings)

Alexis' alarm clock went off after a couple of minutes when Atty left. Although it was still early she wanted to be there to meet others and perhaps make some friends. After getting dressed and cleaning herself up she got going taking her room keys and looked the door.
Seeing as a lot of people were hanging out near a specific area, it had to be the class, Alexis checked the schedule again to make sure this was the right class "Regional Studies . . ." she mumbled. As she walked into the room, she was astonished by the size of it, perhaps double the size of a normal class in a fancy school. Her eyes caught attention to Atty passing the time on her laptop, "Hey ! You're early" she said as she took a seat next to Atty. As she sat down her Pokeballs suddenly let out her Pokemon. Out of the Pokeballs were her Pokemon, a Petilil, a Wooper and a Houndour. "Oh what a supprise, I guess you all were bored" Alexis said as she picked up her Petilil "Sorry about that, this is Lilly, she's a bit shy . . . That's Swoop my Wooper, he's very friendly and that's Fiery my Houndour, don't worry about him he's very gentle" she said, all three were abandoned Pokemon that were taken home by Alexis. She raised them with love and care, hoping to train them to be strong she decided to become a trainer and went studying.

"Alright time to go do the thing!" Maxis said as he went to the academic building. He was running because his pokemon changed the time on the alarm. He made it to class, as he entered the building he saw the others but no professor "Did they really!?!?" Max said as he groaned, He took his seat and waited for class to begin, He found himself looking around at stuff. He saw Asseylum, To him she looked like a princess or something, she looked like royalty.

She sighed, realising there was probably nobody inside, she left the building and looked around seeing where everyone could possibly being going to, she grabbed Ron off her head and fished a paper clip from her pocket "you feeling hungry?" She asked the Pokemon, who moved around excited as she fed him the paper clip

Gabriel eventually arrived at the cafeteria, where she sat down to eat bacon roll and some cereal. She also picked up a packet of nuts for Plusle an Minun, and a bag of apple slices for Absol, in case the three of them got hungry during the day. She didn't attempt to make any conversation with anyone, she wanted to get a better understanding of what they were like first. After she had finished, she checked her PDA, it was almost time for class. She cleared her tray and headed back in the direction of the classroom.

When Gabriel reached it, she noticed a brown-haired boy leaning against the wall of the classroom. She gave him a silent nod of greeting as she entered the room. There were already quite a few people in there, four to be exact. She sat down in the back right corner of the room, next to a window overlooking the courtyard. Plusle and Minun hopped up onto the windowsill and seemed content staring out of the window at the wild bird Pokemon flying around. Absol curled up at her feet under the desk and went to sleep. She stroked him on the head and got out her PDA. She plugged in her earbuds and relaxed in her chair, clicking play on the playlist she had made on the train journey to the school. Now all she had to do was wait for class to begin.

Professor larch had assumed his position in front of the lecture hall long before the few stragglers busted into class. He turns and sneers at them as they rush inside. "Let's hope you don't make a habit of being late for my class" he tone is gruff and unforgiving, immediately giving you the impression that he is not a nice man.

Professor larch doesn't miss a beat as you take your seats he begins introducing the regional studies curriculum.
"Here in regional studies we study the regions of our world in depth. If there are any of you that haven't figured that out by now, you shouldn't be enrolled here" he chuckles to himself and pulls up a map of the Pokémon world behind him. "We will cover one region in depth over the course of two weeks, the topics include but are not limited to. Geography, Flora, Pokémon, Gyms and Infrastructure. We will also be taking a total of 3 fieldwork assignments over the course of year one. If any of you have further questions, you should have paid more attention" professor larch the. Rolls directly into a lecture about the Hoenn region "The Hoenn region boasts many dramatic environments from Rainforests to Deserts but its most striking feature is its abundance of water.... Much of the region is covered in water, almost equal in size to the mainland. There are several large and populated islands off the mainland only accessible via water routes many of which incluede deep sea trenches..." the generalized lecture ends around 8:45 and Professor Larch leaves the room allowing the students to finish scrambling down notes.

"Well, that guy sure is a jerk." He said under his breath as he finished his notes and got up to go to the next class, Once he arrived he stood idle around the area waiting for the teacher to arrive.

When the Professor enters the room, Gabriel quickly takes off her headphones and searches her bag for school supplies. She pulls out her black leather notebook, which has her name printed on it in gold italics. She grabs a pen and starts taking notes. The teacher wasn't the nicest person, and she had a feeling that her short temper might lead her to do something rash when he got out of hand. She focused her attention on copying down notes. He spoke really fast, and she had trouble keeping up. Eventually, the lecture finished, and she finished her last sentence, threw down her pen and groaned. Her wrist hurt after writing so fast for so long. At least it was a practical lesson after this.

Mike sighed as Professor Larch introduced himself. He grabbed a notebook and a pen and started taking notes. Though it was a bit hard to listen to him, which caused him to take less notes. The class was however, very boring, at least for him. When the class ended, he sighed once more, but this time because of relief. He grabbed his earbuds from his pocket and started listening to nightcore, his favorite type of music. Then he headed up the stairs to the roof for his next class. Once he reached it he released his Rowlet. “You can fly around, just don’t get too far. And take this,” Mike told his Pokemon while handing him an Oran Berry. The Pokemon quickly ate it and smiled. Then he started flying around, making sure he’s not too far away from his trainer.

Waking up towards the end of the lecture Alan peered out from underneath his hood watching his classmates file towards the door he makes his move. Stuffing his belongings into his bag he too starts shuffling towards the door.
“Did you enjoy your nap Mr.Race?” Professor Larch asks putting a hand on the boy’s shoulder. “I should have known you wouldn’t be as good as your older brother was” the professors voice was venomous and condescending as he released Alan.

The rooftop has a set of metal bleachers looking over a standard sized Pokémon field. In the center of the field stands a busty young woman with pink hair surrounded sevaral of the students who had arrived before you. The professor greets each of you with a smile and a wave before returning to her discussion about battling with the other students. A discussion complete with explosive hand gestures and sound effects, though quite eccentric the teacher seemed like a kind lady.

9:30 came quite quickly and the professor cleared her throat welcoming the class to the university. "Now I need alllllll of you to pair up, talk to each other make friends, and then we'll battle!" The professor clenched her fists and bounded over to the bleachers with excitement. Having a seat she waved to the class "come get me once you have a partner!!!"

Gabriel stood at the back of the group, one hand on her hip and listening intently. She stroked Absol as she listened with her free hand. Minun and Plusle had gone to make friends with some bird Pokemon in the courtyard. After the teacher had finished talking she looked around at the other students, wondering who would be a good opponent for her first battle.

Atty rose as class ended, stuffing away her laptop that was already beginning to fill with various notes and documents. Though she found Professor Larch's methods a bit strict, she would be lying if she said she wasn't excited about the topics. The class came and went however, the trainer making it through a long lecture and managing to keep her attention up.

She followed the rest of the C-Track students out of the hall, over to the next class. There stood an attractive, young Professor, whom Atty was already beginning to take a liking to thanks to her choice of hair color and her enthusiasm. However, Atty grew slightly tense when she announced that the students would be pairing up. Adjusting her bag strap, she slowly paced around, watching other students as they paired up, deciding to possibly wait things out in case anyone would decide to come up to her first.

Hmm, wonder what happened to that Asseylum girl? He thought, looking for someone to pair up with, he spotted atty and walked over "H-Hi" he said nervously "Wanna be partners?"

Atty released the breath she had been holding, thankful someone had noticed her and decided to approach. She put on her best smile, turning to Maxis and looking him over. "Sure! My name's Atlas by the way, but most people just call me Atty." Much like introduction to her roommate, she considered first impressions fairly important. Looking nice was only part of it, the rest relied on appearing and speaking as non-threatening as possible.

"Do you wanna head over to the bleachers, then? We could sit and talk more over there while we wait for the others to pair up," She nodded her head over to the stands, giving the bubbly Professor a quick look before starting to take a few steps, hoping Maxis would catch on and follow.

Charles took some notes of Professor Larch’s lecture during first period, as he packed all of his belongings soon after. He exited the class somewhat later than everyone else while making his way up on the roof. The Squirtle gulped when he saw the other trainers in the next class, as his body shivered when he heard the professor briefly stating that each pupil would be paired up for combat. The Squirtle gave his trainer a slight nudge, while pointing towards the ground.

His trainer nodded and placed him on the ground, as he pointed towards the trainer with the Absol after thinking about what the professor announced earlier. He stood his ground, refusing to give in to some of the other trainer’s Pokémon they all had to offer. Despite the Nurse’s stern order to not battle as much as possible, it appeared to be that the Squirtle was ready for quite a fight. He lightly patted the bandaged area of the bottom half of his shell while priming some water in his system for imminent combat.

Everyone seemed to be getting into pairs really quickly. Gabriel looked around at the remaining people, and decided to talk to a blue haired boy to her right. He was focused on his Squirtle, who didn't seem to like being near other people. She walked over to him, taking a deep breath and putting on a smile. "Hey, that's uh that's a nice squirtle you have there!" She did her best to look relaxed as she talked. "I don't think there are many people left to partner up with...so uh, can I be your partner?"

The Squirtle turned towards the girl that asked his trainer about partnership between the two, as he heard his trainer replying, “Well, if you want, then sure. I’m alright as long as I got a nice partner here.”

“Just be careful that the Squirtle might have quite a bit of experience... he did all sorts of crazy things at the Nurse’s Office,” Charles calmly added after clearing his throat. The Squirtle kept a straight gaze at the girl’s Absol while discreetly focusing some energy into his right hand.

Gabriel nodded, "Sure, I like a challenge." She noticed the Squirtle staring at her Absol, and casually moved closer to him, putting her arm round Absol's neck. "I'll go tell the teacher that we are partnered up."

As she walked, she looked down at Absol, who was looking at the ground as he kept pace with her. "I'm guessing you don't trust him either, huh?" Absol looked up at her silently. "Well lets just focus on doing our best in this battle, k." She approached the teacher and explained that they were partnered up. She took a deep breath and walked back over to Charles.

Mike whistled and called his Pokémon. Rowlet flew over on Mike's head. Mike eyes widened a bit at Professor Sakura's enthusiasm. "At least I'll pay attention," he thought as Rowlet switched onto his trainer's shoulder. "Uhh team work. Why??? Whatever," he thought as he looked around. He couldn't find anyone that seemed interesting so he sat down on the roof. "Maybe someone will see me and ask me. Or maybe I'll be forced to be with the teacher, or something. Whatever." He began lying down and continued to listen to his music with his earbuds.

Alan approached mike and tapped him on the shoulder. “You’re my new roommate right? Let me see what you’ve got” Alan extended a hand to the boy to help him up before removing his hood revealing blue streaked hair and gleaming emerald eyes.

Mike removed his earbuds, then took his hand and got back up. "You're that Alan kid, right? The guy from the courtyard with the edgy backstory. Well, I guess I might try on this thing. Though I'll probably just want to look at what others do," he told Alan. Rowlet flew back onto Mike's head. "You're up," he told his Pokémon.

“Don’t push yourself too hard. I can always talk to the professor if you don’t want to battle,” Charles stated to the Squirtle while noticing the Squirtle looking over at the girl walking back. The Squirtle patiently waited for the Absol to make a move while his trainer watched close by.

“I guess being younger isn’t all that bad... I’m quite fast without those cannon things on my back,” The Squirtle thought while maintaining his composure.

Gabriel walked back and smiled at him. "The teacher says we can prep if we need to, then we can start. I'm just gonna check that Absol's ready, and then I'm done, but you can take all the time you want." Every now and then she would quickly look down at Absol and the Squirtle, checking that everything was fine between them. These were only supposed to be friendly battles to practice, she didn't want any serious damage to be done to either of the Pokemon.

Charles nodded at the girl before checking to make sure that the Squirtle was ready for combat.

“Are you sure you want to battle? I don’t want you to hurt yourself even more,” Charles said to the Squirtle.

“Squirt, Squirtle,” The Squirtle replied while focusing some energy in his body.

“Well... if you really want to, then I can’t exactly stop you or anything. Want to play it by ear or have me tell you what to do?” Charles affirmed while attempting to inquire the turtle Pokémon as best as he could.

The Squirtle held up his index finger at his trainer, as he heard his trainer stating, “Alright, well if you really are wanting that... then I suppose the only thing I can say is may the god’s luck be with your heart.”

Gabriel bought Absol over to the side of the field, and crouched down in front of him. "K, this is our first battle at BTU, so this is our first impression on the teachers and the students. You up for it?" Absol nodded and nuzzled her shoulder. Gabriel hugged him back, and stood up. She saw Absol staring back over at their opponents. "Remember, don't let anything or anyone get in your head, ok, keep focused on me and you." Absol looked up at her, his eyes sparkling with excitement, before walking back towards Charles and the Squirtle.

Charles awaited the Squirtle’s move, as the Squirtle was prepared for anything the Absol had to throw at him. He took in a deep breath while his curly tail observed the gentle wind’s direction.

“Let’s just hope that white dog doesn’t charge at me like some sort of superbowl fan...” The Squirtle thought while attempting to ignore the slight, stinging pain in his body.

Gabriel stood at the end of the field, watching intently for either trainer or Pokemon to make a move. She tucked her purple streak behind her ear, and felt the breeze blow gently against her face. "Good luck Absol." She muttered to the Pokemon next to her. Absol stepped forward, planting his feet strongly, preparing himself for the fight. Gabriel took a deep breath, closed her eyes for a second, then yelled out,

"Alright Absol, use Perish Song!" (Makes any Pokemon faint within three turns. Doesn't deal any immediate damage)

“Don’t think I’ve forgotten your comment about sneaking in..” Alan says to his roommate with a grin as the pair approaches Professor Sakura who is busy cheering for the match. She reminds you of a peppy cheerleader as she jumps around throwing her hands into the air.

“Excuse me, but we would like to go next” Alan says to her gesturing towards Mike.

“Kayyyy!” Says the Professor “You can go after these two!!!”

Alan slides his hand over his pokeballs looking at Mike “Hope you’re ready”

Asseylum watched, and took notes, through the class. As the class was ending, she gathered her stuff, and put it in her bag. "Alright!" She claimed, "time to see what's next!" She forgot her schedule already, so she followed her classmates to the top of the building. She approached the door slowly, and noticed a big Field in the center. "Perfect, a battle!" She noticed the person on the field, who wanted everyone to team up. "I don't team well..." She muttered to herself, and went up to the bleachers.
