• Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.

I've lurked on this forum for a bit generally gathering information, viewing sprites (and comics) so I figure now would be a good time to register. I'm a rule fanatic so rest assured I read them; I actually searched for a few minutes to make sure there was no introduction forum XD (and I'm still paranoid I overlooked one...)

Name's Davis, I'm 19 and I work for Geek Squad...so my life is pretty much all computer-centered. My interests;

Martial Arts: Hapkido, Dim Mak, instructing
Media: Mouse art, photoshop, illustrator, web design, spriting, music videos, remixes, videogame creation
Math: Programming, formula reproduction, calculus
Network: Setup, Cisco router config, security, anti-security ;) ...actually I'm bored of typing this...it's starting to sound like bragging instead of an interests list.

Hey, picture time!

Well, I'm pleased to meet you all. :)

Hey. Nice to meet you, too, even though I can't say I share many of your hobbies XD

"Geek Squad" reminds me of the Anime/SciFi/Fantasy/Manga/Etc. club people tried to start at my University that flopped horribly. They called it G.E.E.K. and I can't remember for the life of me what it stood for, but it actually was an acronym.

Heh. There's been debate for ages whether to make an introduction board or not, but I might just go ahead and sticky a thread for one if people find it helpful. Either way, thanks for registering, lurker ;)

Oh come on, Geek Squad! The computer techs you see stuffed into the back of a Best Buy. The guys who drive the bugs to your house and setup your network (although only Double Agents do that).

Don't have a Best Buy, sorry ^^;

Welcome to my existence on P.E.I., where we have one EBGames for the entire province ;)

High for someone who just got out of college. I'm making more money here than I could anywhere else that would hire me. Although, I don't care about money, I just like my job.

I think he means the people who you try to help's most common solution is ctrl alt delete. :p

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I'm a new member too. >_> Hi everyone!

I've had to do that three times. In one case, we refused to work on the computer for the fact that it contained child pornography. What sucked more is it was the guy's parents that picked it up. They cried when we had to tell them the reason we couldn't work on it.

Now regular porn, we can work on that kind of computer. It's just a part of the job, you have to be immune to that sort of stuff.

Its sick, but a lot of people's computer problems are linked to pornography.

I was helping out one of my dad's patients before with their computer, they brought the body over to me for fixing, when I was sorting it out I found that he had approximately 10 gig of porn of all different flavours.
Needless to say, thats where his viruses came from, I formatted his entire hard drive and told him that he got viruses from porn, the guy wasn't too impressed with me.

Oh and hi new guy, I'm Rupert, its pretty much garuanteed you will think im either amazing or a complete asshole.

Just as a way to welcome you into the pokécharms family, Im going to remind everyone of THE GAME.
All of you that have just read that are aware of the Game's Existance, and are henseforth playing, its not optional.

It is impossible to win this game,

You Lose by remembering you are playing,

You can only lose once every 30 minutes approximately,

Whenever you lose you must announce "I just lost" (Normally to the disgust of the people that are arround you that are playing, and the bewilderment of those who aren't, who you then have to teach THE GAME to, thus dooming them to the same fate as you....)

I'm guessing you guys are all /b/-tards. To you I say "ZA WARUDO! WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" *drops a steamroller on your head and pounds it into your flesh*

Pornography, Limewire, Pogo games...these are the bane of my existance. OH OH OH, and people who install Windows XP software on Windows Vista.

... That sounds a lot like something Stel would say. I'm scared now o.O

And I hate you, RL, but I mean it in the nicest way possible ^^

Ehehehe, internet memes eh?... *backs away slowly*...

*Then returns*...

Yeah, I should probably say Hi though, so greetings to you Trevlac. But be careful... I have a tendency to physically explode whilst comprehending that which I cannot understand.

In fact, most of us have never set foot in that wretched hive of scum and villainy, but are aware of the references and memes that rage within from other sources.

So to ye I say, I am in your thread, posting in a grammatically accurate manner. It is not a clever ruse, unless if you like Mudkips. In which case, fire ye thine laser to the cry of 'Shoop dah Whoop' and stay tuned for tonight's Desu Ex Machina.

For sooth.

RLRL, I love you. In the normal-kinda-friendly-not-wrong-you're-more-of-someone-i-stalk sort of way, of course. Because it would be creepy if i loved you some other way. And as we all know, I'm not creepy. Not in the least.

Trevlac now. . .

Dude, are you single?

*gets like, 20 various large objects thrown at her head*

GeekSquad is cool. Math frightens me, however. All my computer related problems stem from spyware that attacked when I tried to hack renegade versions of photoshop. Porn is my friend. It would never harm me in any way.

. . . not that, i, y'kno, have any porn on my machine, no. . .

*laughs* But seriously? No. I fight 'teh spywares' on an almost constant basis, and while ctrl-alt-del is nice (veeeeery niiiiice) I find myself turning more and more to the niftay "System Restore" function. (PokéGods forbid I actualy get anti-Spyware/Virus protection software, no.)

Well, I had Norton for a while, but. . . It kinda. . .took over my computer, very slightly. Everytime I installed a program, it whacked out and somehow managed to get firewalls all over it, and block my access to all of the help files for the program. It would tell me what programs I was allowed to use on certain days, and sometimes, I'd leave my computer on, come upstairs 20 minutes later, and it'd be playing solitare on my computer. No joke.

Eventually, It found itself a threat and uninstalled itself, so, you know. . .um. . . *insert awkward period in her life when she felt like she had to reabilitate herself to use computers again*

Okay, well, at one point in time, there was a point to this story. *stops stalking RLRL and begins stalkage of Trevlac*

It's a cool user name. . . But as I've said on everyone's favourite "What does your user name mean?" String, I'd never guess anyone would use there name backwards as an alias. Llahetihw. . . Dude, that's not even comprehensable.

Literate people are nice. . . I'll never forget the day waaaaaaaaay back when, and we all were in highschool together (okay, it wasn't WAY back when, but it was a few years ago when this happened. . .9th grade, was it???) And we got back out reading level tests, and everyone was like "I got an 11!" and the one kid was like "I got a 6.5. . . What does the score mean though?" And the teacher was like "It indicates what grade level you read on." *dies laughing* I've proudly been literate to a college degree since 6th grade. . . It's the only thing I'm good at. Reading.

Oh, well, I write too. . . I guess I'm pretty decent at that.

Wow. Okay, It's late, I'm tired. *hugs Trevlac* Welcome to the party. We should RP together some time (Okay, I don't mean that in a creepy way. . .*headdesk* that's how it came out, isn't it).

Ah, you had Norton Internet Security instead of Norton antivirus. NIS will try to guess and learn. Symantec's idea when they created it was to make an artificially intelligent protection system. I lolled at it uninstalling itself XD

And now the wrong person knows your last name. *points to self* Stalker also.

Welcome to the site! ;D It's really refreshing to see an intelligent life form join us; I'm still trying to get over the dark all-consuming wave of n00bs that recently hit us.

*hands over a freshly baked chocolate cake* (haha! out-caked you, firefox!)

I don't think anyone asked for the definition of irony sweetie

I don't think anyone gave it. . . *snorts* ROFFLECOPTERS! (ew I didn't just say that, did I? *hits self*)  Did that seriously just happen??? 'Sweetie'???? *that just made my day*

And now the wrong person knows your last name. *points to self* Stalker also.

Did you just counter stalk me??? Cool. :D That's never happened before.

*hands over a freshly baked chocolate cake* (haha! out-caked you, firefox!)

WELL SIR, to you I say *pulls out the freshly baked dinosaur cake*

haHA! Dinosaur shaped cakes > all other cakes.

Except Mario shaped cakes, those have to trump all other cakeforms. . .

http://wilton.kitchen-hills.com/Super-Mario-Brothers-Cake-Pan-B00069ZZ3C.htm

Dear Trevlac: We should totally hang out some time. XD

Or at least talk. . .*likes forcing random neat people to talk to her (Hey it's how I met Stel)* Do you have AIM??? 'cause I already attempted to stalk you on MSN and it wouldn't have none o' that. (*kicks MSN under the table*)

Homigod, you can string multiple words together with CAPITALIZATION (omgno!) and PUTTING SPACES AFTER PERIODS!

I am impressed. Let me pinch myself to make sure I'ma not just dreamin'...@_@

Yar. That whole intro aside, my name is Persian. Or Nyaa-Neko, as I am known elsewhere. Call me whatever you want, just make sure you tell me what it is...so I don't, like, look blankly in the other direction.

And ooooh...Geek Squad! I've seen the cars for you guys parked around town...very muchly cool. YOU GET THE PERSIAN STAMP OF APPROVAL! *stamps Trevlac's head* w007!

(I also approve of the picture of the Hello Kitty cake on the first page of the thread. Yus. Muchly good. :3 )

Homigod, you can string multiple words together with CAPITALIZATION (omgno!) and PUTTING SPACES AFTER PERIODS

Yeah, but no one's freaked out yet about the fact that I ACTUALLY USE the correct syntax when writing with parenthesis!!!!

. . .I work so hard at making sure I get it right, too. :'(

. . . It's prolly the fact I speak in Pigdin and have typos out the wazoo that negates the fact I know proper English.

Prolly.

Personally, I was impressed with the capitalization and punctuation, and the absolute lack of God-Moding *stabs certain newbies who act like they are admins in the head* (that's not a direct threat *sarcasm*).

Ew. Newbs that are like "I'm perfect, love me! *rainbow showers of hearts and sparkles*" bother me. They really, really do. >>

We need an RP for the literate peoples that noobs can't get at, right? Who's with me? Right? I'm sad FireFox's MD one like, exploded from all the noobs cramming themselves into it. Like we all didn't bring enough superfluous characters into it right from the start anyways ( superfluous is the word of the week, ps).

Yeah. *realizes no one pays any attention to her*

hey, moonstruck, i take offense in that...>_> ((i am sorry about the godmoding though))

nice to meet ya, welcome to the site...and if you can out-stalk stel without stalking me i'll give you a cookie. a very, very, special cookie...*hides cookies away from cops who are looking at me*

I will gladly take as many opportunities as possible to piss away my life with pointless chatty gimmicks. The sad part about that sentence is that it was true :-\

My turn to welcome the now famous Trevlac!

You are just mister popularity aren't you? Just because you get the cool uniform, and the cool car... And provide Hello Kitty cakes... And you sprite too! xD
What can't you do?!

And as commented before, your literacy is refreshing... I'm sorry but I am so tired of noobs going "I r new!"
><

But anyways...

So much stalking!

I think I am in love with this thread for that reason alone!

Though... Limewire.. Bane... of... Existance?!
Limewire is life! xD
-huggles my virus producer, then my anti spyware and anti virus-

But I hope you are enjoying this attention though. =3
