Daniel walked through the ruins of Salt Lake City. He kept tight to his rifle. He remebered being a child and walking through these streets as kid. He would happily talk to strangers and pet animals. That kid is dead now. Gone. Replaced faster than flat tire. The new Daniel would shoot people he didn't know. You never now when someones an Infected.

The Fireflies had all but fallen apart. With their leader dead, they were a bunch of lost sheep. Salt Lake was a mess. There was no Military there to turn into a quarintine zone, so Daniel had lived amongst ruims and Infected for years, Until he found the Light in the darkness.

"Deep breaths." andre muttered to himself. "Its just another day." He said. Today marked a year since his brother was moved, his first year alone.
He practically lived with the Fireflies, watching everything they did, looking for an answer so he could see his brother again. He hadn't found one yet. Today he decided he might have to sneak out. He had gotten tip of a passageway out, but it cost him rations for a week. In order to see his brother though, it might be his only chance.

Daniel walked back to St. Mary's Hospital, the head quarters of the Fireflies. He waved to the guard and they let him in. The halls were a mess. Several Fireflies wrestled over tables and chairs, trying to dteremine who would be the new leader. Daniel scoffed. All though he wasn't an offical member, the Fireflies treated them as one their own.

"Shit!" The entrance had Fireflies guarding. He began to walk towards them.
"Halt! State Name and business!" One said, pointing his lazer at Andre's head.
"Andre Marshal, visiting a friend!"
"But this place is an empty quarantine, which means you are lying. Detain him." Andre ran. He was fast. They began to call for help.

Although Daniel wasn't a Firefly, he did have to protect his home from Infected. Daniel chased the intruder and shouted," Dammit, check if he's infected!" He grabbed his hatchet and tried to tackle the intruder.
