The Crisis Crew 2: A New Threat (Disscussion/Sign-Up)

Oh well if that's what that thread is for I'm getting rid of all my OOC posts there!
Name: Valerie Hawthorne
Hero Name: Shade
Appearance: Has what is essentially a shadow covering her entire body with a black coloring and purple outline. Her purple eyes gaze into the souls of her enemies, and the purple symbol of B'rnadon emblazoned on the back of her cloak clearly shows the legacy she has inherited from her father and how she will pursue it. When not using B'rnadon's powers, she's a normal 17-year-old girl with long brown hair and green eyes. Her favorite outfit is a white t-shirt, plad red buttonshirt that she wears as an overshirt, blue track pants and brown shoes.
Personality: Valerie is a cheery and caring girl, but often gets PTSD flashbacks to the death of her family. She lives to protect anyone close to her - at the moment only her boyfriend, Dennis. Contrary to her father, she often shows mercy to her enemies, but at the same time B'rnadon's influence does make her relish in dealing out pain.
Origin: When she was 15, Valerie's parents and younger brother were all killed by a mob boss and rich man known as Whitehorse. After the traumatic incident she was sent to live with her uncle and aunt, but wanted to find out the truth. At the risk of her own life, Valerie did research and went into Whitehorse's territory to try and get revenge - or at the very least, find out why the whole debacle happened. She succeeded, discovering that Whitehorse had killed her family in order to gain an item called the Relic of B'rnadon and destroy it. During this time, Valerie took on the secret identity of Night Rider, a powerless bike rider who caught the attention of Whitehorse. Her life was put into danger several times because of this, but was saved each time by a shadowy figure who called himself Shade. Valerie eventually discovered a major connection between Shade and Whitehorse, as Shade's name came up many times during her research. Eventually, Valerie made a revelation that caused her to believe that her dead father - Lucas Hawthorne - and Shade were one and the same, her father having undergone a post-death temporary revival thanks to a deal made with B'rnadon. Night Rider eventually decided to follow Shade and attempt to confront him about this, and found him just in time to save him from a trap Whitehorse had set up for him. Valerie destroyed the energy generator causing Shade to fall apart and took the Relic of B'rnadon away from Whitehorse, allowing Shade to kill Whitehorse once and for all. Valerie removed her mask, and Lucas embraced his daughter one final time before the contract ended and his antimatter form was erased.
Two years later, Valerie had been rebuilding her life and living as a normal teenage girl. She had good grades, a good boyfriend and a killer new bike. Suddenly, Whitehorse's brother, Greyhorse, brought a few of his mob and attacked Valerie, believing her responsible for his brother's death. Well in a way she was, but still. They destroyed her bike and were about to shoot her when a black barrier appeared in front of her. The old Shade was in front of her... well, his lower half was joined together and ended at the same place her shadow did. Valerie herself was covered in the same costume as Shade, just changed to fit her. Valerie became the new Shade, fighting off the gang but refusing to kill them. From that point on, she's been dealing with Greyhorse's mafia as well as other criminals while on her mission to defend the helpless.
Oh yeah, and she recently learned that her father's soul is now permanently inside her shadow and that a shadow demon can mentally communicate with her.
Abilities:
  • Shadow Force: Creation of objects out of antimatter, such as spikes, claws and whips. These objects are always completely black and must be connected to Shade's suit somehow.
  • Shadow of the Father: Lucas Hawthorne's spirit hides in Valerie's shadow most of the time, but he can hop out independently of Valerie's command or will. He has the same power of the regular Shade, just less control. He can also focus on the battle when Valerie can't, such as when he fought off three assassins at once while Valerie was unconscious.
  • Martial Arts: Valerie has a third-degree brown belt in karate and aikido.
  • Realm of B'rnadon: Shade can bring people or objects into her cloak, which sends them to B'rnadon's realm - aka the realm where Valerie has complete control and can chat with B'rnadon. B'rnadon still has more control though.
Weakness: Focused light concentrations, such as Whitehorse's energy generator.
Allies: Her father, B'rnadon, Ronin, Z, Excalibur

I’m the hospital he handed him a Paintbrush, with splatters of paint on the handle, and the tip dyed in red. Flint worked on his artwork ever since, but refused to use the brush the man gave him. He soon lost his own brush and had no choice but to use the old one’s brush, but stangely enough, when painting a a flower as a test, the painting would sprout out of the paper or any given surface and act like any object would in the real world. He found this power incredible, and used it to his hearts content, even creating a flower bouquet to place on the man’s grave. One more hero to go after these ones!
Name: Shane Denzer
"Hero" Name: Z
Appearance: Wears a long black overcoat that goes down to his ankles and a black fedora, as well as a white face mask with a painted red Z on it. Under the overcoat he wears black track pants and a black vest over his white button shirt.
Personality: Z is cold and unfeeling towards his enemies. His tactics usually involve the element of surprise, planning and strategy. He hates to see innocents involved in the battle, however, and will always seek to take it away from them. He despises criminals, especially the ones that take hostages and murder. Those ones are the ones he deals death to. The others... can live for the police to deal with. Z doesn't trust the law for failing to find the truth behind the death of his wife and father, and believes he must take it into his own hands. The stories Ronin and Shade have told him during their alliance has only strengthened this belief.
Origin: Z's tale began when his wife and father were killed by Jack Carter, leader of the Crystal Crows gang, for not submitting to his rule. Shane needed a way to get back, so he began his personal quest to eliminate Carter and his gang. This inevitably involved Z in the gang war between the Crows and Don Kevin Mitchell's Silent Knives. Z and Mitchell found themselves on the same side, eventually forming a temporary alliance to take down Carter. Z believed that the Silent Knives were the lesser of two evils. He also discovered and destroyed Project Alpha, a weapon that stole people's bioelectricity and then electrocuted them. However, the final version was the weapon that Carter used against Z and Mitchell. Z took more damage, leaving Mitchell to finish off Carter while he recovered. Carter shot first, however, killing Mitchell. Z then used Carter's own weapon, Project Alpha, to finish the evil man once and for all. Z then was forced to escape from the police, and found out that his sister, Lieutenant Alice Denzer, was still alive. Shane revealed his true identity to his sister before escaping, and Alice chose not to pursue. Z now travels in pursuit of his own brand of justice.
Weapons: His trusty M1911 dual-shot pistols are his favorite weapons, but he also uses a sniper rifle, grenades, sticky bombs, a shotgun and dual knives.
Abilities: Extremely athletic and a genius tactician.
Weakness: Even though he may not seem like it at times, he's just a human.
Allies: Lieutenant Alice Denzer, Ronin, Shade, Excalibur
Villain Name: B'rnadon
Appearance: A giant dark purple demon, B'rnadon has light purple eyes and a glowing purple cloak. He has bulky muscles on his arms, legs and chest, as well as sharp claws for hands and feet. B'rnadon is also extremely tall, being about as large as the One World Trade Center.
Personality: B'rnadon is a clever man who enjoys wordplay and jokes, but at the same time is quick to anger. He admires wit and goodwill, but despises sin. He is a reasonable man who is fine with making a deal or two, as long as he gets something out of it. Such as when Lucas Hawthorne convinced him to allow him to return to the human world in order to protect his daughter in exchange for continuing to enact his vengeance.
Origin: No one truly knows where B'rnadon comes from. Those who know of him merely theorize that he may have been a former member of a higher realm who created his own world to live away from it all in. B'rnadon gives those who follow him power, not demanding worship but merely improvement of character. Though none remember it, B'rnadon has had a Shade once every century to enact his will upon the world.
Weapons: Shade, technically. :p
Abilities:
  • All the powers of Shade and more: The fact that B'rnadon is the source of Shade's power should make this obvious. B'rnadon can do everything that Shade can and more, having much more power than she does.
  • Telepathy with his Followers: Through the use of Relics of B'rnadon, he can telepathically communicate with his followers at any time. He uses this power to give the Shades their objectives and missions.
  • Power over his Realm: B'rnadon can do anything he wants with his realm. Literally anything. If a Shade sends someone to B'rnadon, he's gonna have some fun with them...
  • Super Strength: ...uh, well, he's super strong. As in probably strong enough to shake the Earth by slamming his fist down.
Weakness: Powerful concentrations of light and energy. Is also weak to holy godly power, being a shadow demon. The power must be genuine, however. He ain't scared of a cross! He also is much weaker outside of his realm, which is one of the reasons he chooses not to leave it for the most part.
Allies: Shade (Lucas Hawthorne), Shade (Valerie Hawthorne).
Villain Name: Greyhorse
Appearance: Usually wears a grey fedora and tuxedo with a white button shirt and grey pants.
Personality: Greyhorse is much more rational and sympathetic than his late brother and live brother, however can be brought to emotional outrage at times. He can show a softer side at times, most of the time when he doesn't want to - such as when he had a chance to kill Valerie and didn't because of how weak and helpless she was.
Origin: Greyhorse and his brothers, Whitehorse and Blackhorse, inherited the three parts of their father's criminal empire. Greyhorse received the commercial side, while his brothers got the workforce and intelligence sides respectively. After the death of his brother, Greyhorse and Blackhorse held a contest to decide who would get his division of the empire. Greyhorse won the contest, but it took a year and a half to do so. Seeking revenge for his brother, he identified Valerie Hawthorne's involvement in Whitehorse's death from security tapes and now seeks to get revenge.
Weapons: His favorite weapon is a handgun he keeps up his sleeve, but he also has his fedora with a retractable bladed edge and a shotgun disguised as a cane. Oh, and of course his Jousting Mount, a high-speed motorbike with two frontal spikes and machine guns.
Abilities: A master tactician with a fourth-degree black belt in karate and a sixth-dan red-and-white belt in judo.
Weakness: Just a normal human.
Allies: The members of his criminal empire, Blackhorse.

His scabbard across his rear waist holds his glowing sword, always crackling blue when drawn.
Personality: Ryan is a lot more aggressive and emotional than the other members of the Vigilantes, and that all comes down to his orphan upbringing and the harsh experimentation done by the staff of Project Mjolnir. He's younger than his other teammates, and is quite hotheaded. He prefers to fight his way through a problem instead of talk it out, with the only exception to this being when it concerns his fellow orphans.
Origin:
Weapons: His sword.
Abilities: He can launch a stream of electrical attacks from the sword, and it can cut through solid steel. Ronin also possesses super strength thanks to his enhancements.
