Open The Chronicles of the Adapted (Superhero RP) Sign Ups

This is a story where the percentage of the world's population that has been born or gained superhuman abilities has been increasing and of late it has increased by 40% in the last year. This has caused a split politically and socially within the world about the views of these "gifted" population. There has been a rise in crime that has been the cause of these gifted population. Which has caused some conflict between the governments worldwide and the population with supernatural abilities. People are arguing that this is the next step in our evolution. However, some are saying that this will cause the end of the human race. It's hard to tell. This is what happens.
I am undecided as to where this will be set, whether it's fictional, London the Us or something.

Backstory:

My character:
Name: Fraser Maximillian
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Ability: Superhuman athleticism, (endurance, strength, reflexes, speed)
Appearance: Fraser wears a battle suit that's mainly black and dark colours. (Similar to what hawkeye wears in The avengers) He is 6"3, dark brown curly hair. bit of a stubble on his face, green eyes, he wears handless gauntlets which are incredibly strong, which he often uses to block and deflect attacks. He wears weapon holsters on his waist. He wears black trainers with white soles.
Personality: He is rather laid back, sarcastic character. He likes to mess around with serious situations as well. He loves spending time with his mates and having a good time. If it comes down to it, he can become a leader and a soldier.
Strengths: Close Combat, Composure, being a leader, fighting with Tomahawks, throwing tomahawks, move and react to things at an incredible speed,
Weaknesses: Magical powers, psychic powers, gets pissed off at people who act like they're bigger than him
Backstory: Growing up he never got treated differently for being gifted since his powers aren't very flashy and he can be discreet about it. He had no choice, since the area he lived in, had a very strong opinion on these "freaks with diseases" as they called them. Leading them to frequent attacks in mobs at the families of these people who are affiliated with the freaks. Even if they aren't got any abilities themselves. As long as they are related to the one that does, that's a good enough reason since that they have the same blood and it will only breed more of these monsters if they continue to live.

Fraser didn't want to risk that happening to his loved ones. His family didn't know at first but they eventually found out, but they tried their best at hiding the information as well. However, when he was 12, there were some kids who started to bully and torment him. after a long while of enduring this bullying, Fraser snapped. He then didn't hold back his powers and severely beat up the bullies almost killing one of them. Word spread like wildfire and the entire town realized the truth about Fraser and later that same day the same mob attacked Fraser's home. He tried to defend his home but there was too many to fight off and they killed his entire family. He had no choice but to flee from his home, which was burning and getting destroyed.

He spent his teenage years just walking and traveling, just trying to find food find shelter and just get by. However, he then found a job...which was highly illegal. He found this shady underground network that was based underneath some grimy pub. He was getting handsomely paid to kill certain targets he would get given. However, he would only kill people he felt deserved it. After a while, he got noticed by some people who are politically high up. He was then being given jobs by leaders of countries, to kill people that have these supernatural abilities, which would take a bit more than mere guns to kill. However, he stuck to his blurry morals and would only kill people who deserved to be killed. he kept quiet about this and would get paid more than he could ever imagine. after a few years and many enemies made later. He decided to step down but the person giving him the missions, wouldn't accept it. He then started to threaten him if he didn't do the missions. So then he had to get some targets which will forever haunt him and which lead him to escape the torment of the politician ad go underground.
Other: He fights with two tomahawks

(Your backstory doesn't need to be as big as mine, I just kept typing XD)

Name: Ichiro Blue
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Ability: Has dark blue Tattoo/markings covering his upper body that goes from arm to arm and across his chest. When his hands touch each other his tattoos start to glow into a royal blue. Depending on the part of the hand that touches each other it gives him a variant of super speed. Whether it would be he gets blasted in a certain direction. He moves freely at an incredible speed for a specific amount of time, etc. It varies
Appearance: He has bleach blonde hair, royal, blue eyes. He often wears a dark blue, neck mask. a black long-sleeved shirt. rolled up dark blue jeans and black shoes. He has bandages wrapped around his palms so he doesn't accidentally use his powers. He also wears a royal blue necklace with his name on it.
Personality: He is a troublemaker and really loud. He has a specialty in making people hate him. Which he doesn't mind. He is incredibly loyal to the very few friends he has. He always talks his way out of a situation and is a very tricky character. Often pulling tricks on others for his own amusement and gain. He is very cocky and doesn't stop talking. If you get past that he is very fun to be with.
Strengths: He often gets out of situations really easily and escaping is his specialty. As well as thieving. He's really good at talking his way out of problems.
Weaknesses: He has no real fighting ability, and physically weak. Cause he is usually running away after stealing something. So in a head to head fight he has no chance. Also if his hands are constricted then he can't use his powers, which makes him pretty much useless.
Backstory: His parents were successful business people, with plenty of money and living in a very posh area. He wasn't born with the distinctive blue markings across his upper body. However, whenever he touched his hands together a faint blue glow would start to emit from under his skin. A few weeks after his birth. The blue glow started to get even brighter and brighter. Until one day the glow looked as if it exploded out of under his skin making a blue flash. His parents freaked out that they gave birth to one of those "freaks" in fear that their son would tarnish their image and their business' image as well They stranded him in the slums, with a necklace saying his name and declared to everyone that their son was dead. He was raised by thieves as they abused his powers for their own gain. When he saw them as family. Until, when he was around 17 one day they were running from the police and someone got caught, ratting Ichiro out. Then the local police put a hit on his head. He felt betrayed by his fellow thieves and so he stole all their valuable belongings and fled. He then remained at another poor village, just drinking his days away every day, from the money he got from selling the thieves, belongings. He grew up never knowing his real family and who they were.

Previously Manu456Alola
Name: Manuel Stone
Gender: Male
Age: (I don't know if there's a limit or something) 15
Ability:Technokinesis (ability to create, shape and manipulate technology)
Appearance: He has short, straight black hair, brown eyes. He has mixed skin. He is 5"2, which is short for his age. He wears blue glasses and has a mechanic left arm due to birth defects. A bit skinny. He wears a blue jacket with a white shirt underneath and blue jeans. Also wears brown shoes.
Personality: He is calm and kind, but can be a bit shy at times.
Strengths: Using his powers to hack or turn devices on/off, being stealthy. Has a great memory and is good at crafting things.
Weaknesses: He is physically weak, and his powers can be nullified by certain other powers or if he is away from society. Also his powers go crazy if he gets really mad.
Backstory: He doesn't have much of a backstory. His little sister died of cancer, his family is a bit poor (not that much). He was often bullied at school due to his mechanic arm to the point where his powers when berserk and the thruth about him was discovered, his family had to move out. Still, a few goverment agencies try to track him down, due to being one of those "freaks with diseases".
Other: He has some sort of small gun which shoots laser beams in his pocket in case of emergencies, which he made himself.

Also, once I get accepted, will Manuel have to like, save Fraser or something? Just clarifying.

Name: Tes. (Her family is unknown, so her name is from her powers. Full: Tesla)
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Ability: Tesla Coil: basically a tesla coil. She can absorb electricity to use in four ways. To consume as energy, enhance herself, blast out, or travel as.
Appearance: Decent hight at 5'7" with a smallish body. She wears a vest that is kinda suggestive, but not exactly. Tes also wears a blue skirt. Her hair often changes color because of a side effect of her powers. (Dyes it)
Personality: Tes is kind, but likes to push buttons. (So to speak) She has no morals, but knows a way around things.
Strengths: Tes is kinda athletic and knows gymnastics. She also is kinda stealthy and can use electricity as a food/water supplement for a decent time.
Weaknesses: Tes's powers shut down when restrained. Also, she needs to absorb electricity from a source. If her 'battery' overfills, she has to release it through a blast.
Backstory: Tes was a normal girl without many problems. On her 10th b-day, her powers awoke in her sleep. Electricity was absorbed and caused a massive explosion in her orphanage. (Her parents had powers and were killed) Tes was taken in for testing and was forced to do various activities testing her ability. When she turned 13, Tes made her escape. Succeeding, the girl traveled through electricity wires away into hiding. She got caught up in the black market as a theif. Her slogan is, "If it's not yours, call me."

Neat. Here are my characters.

Name: Marcus Locklear
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Ability: Marcus has enhanced strength thanks to his cybernetic enhancements, though they're not the same level as many, he could stop a slow-moving car or bend pieces of metal. He also has cybernetic neural implants that make him more analytic and allow him to think faster, increasing his intelligence overall. He can transform his hands into cannons that fire green bursts of pure energy. He can utilize his cybernetics in his throat to modify his voice into high-pitched sonic screams.
Appearance: Marcus has straight, thick, black neck-length hair. He never seems to grow facial hair. Marcus has a well-defined, chiseled, and prominent jawline, with a droopy nose. He has almond-shaped, sea-blue eyes. His facial features have not been altered by his cybernetics. He has brown skin like you'd see on a stereotypical Native American man, as Marcus is Native American. Because of his augmentations, Marcus has a slightly muscular build. Marcus's body is heavily augmented with cybernetics. His left arm is entirely robotic, while everything from his hand to his elbow on his right is machine. Both of his legs from his feet to his knees are machine, as well. A metallic substance spreads from his arm over his shoulder, and covers the left side of his chest, stopping just under where his heart would be. Under this plating, inside him, is more cybernetics. To hide his cybernetic features, Marcus wears a pair of baggy black sweatpants, a violet-shaded hoodie, and faded grey tennis shoes.
Personality: Marcus tries to be kind to all living things, and is usually very successful. He tends to try and be a rock, seeming like nothing emotionally affects him. They actually do, albeit most are minor. However, a comment about the fate of his parents could very well throw him into a rage. He often times secludes himself from others, preferring to be on his own. He views allies as useful, but not compatible with how he usually operates. He also finds it very difficult to trust people. Despite this, he usually carries a calm, laid-back persona when he does speak with people and is generally nice. Marcus is very determined, and will very rarely stop in attempting to achieve his goal. He'll only give in if it's a team-based decision and he's outvoted. Marcus has a love for music and history and generally has a "you be you so long as it isn't hurting anybody" outlook on life. However, one thing Marcus isn't afraid to do is kill people he deems a threat to the public. If he has to kill one villain to spare innocent lives they'll take the next time they break out of prison, fine by him.
Strengths: His heightened intelligence and strength, as well as his determination.
Weaknesses: Marcus tends to get very carried away when it comes to taking on enemies. He's also very easy to get to when it comes to personal history, especially the death of his family, which usually enrages him. It takes a lot for him to trust someone after his gang sold him out.
Backstory: Marcus was born in Detroit, Michigan to a Native-American father and African-American mother. While there, he lived with his parents who were low on income and struggled to keep a roof over their heads. In desperation, Marcus's father turned to loan sharks to get money and help get them started to find a better career, his father thinking he had found a job that he could get. However, things didn't pan out. With no money to extort from them, the loan sharks broke into the family's house a year later. In the initial assault, Marcus's mother, Donesia, was killed immediately.

Marcus and his father, John, were able to escape the house through a window. John told his son to run, while he held off the loan sharks. John died, but Marcus managed to run away. Days later, starving, Marcus stumbled into a gang of adolescents who took him in. Marcus was only eight at the time. He grew up with that gang, known as the Shiro Gang. He did what was necessary to keep him fed, even occasionally killing people when he had to. It all came crumbling down, though, when the leader of the Shiro Gang, an Asian teenager named Akito, was paid for a test subject, and Marcus fit the description perfectly. When Marcus was fifteen, his gang sold him out for a large sum of money. Marcus was taken by them and experimented on, in an attempt to "advance the human race," as his captors called it. He was a prototype.

He was given cybernetic enhancements (similar to Cyborg, but very much weaker) on his arms, legs, brain, and parts of his torso. The augmentations were stronger than the scientists had anticipated, and Marcus managed to free himself from their restraints and escaped, after killing his captors. After hacking into one of their computers, he discovered what he could do. He deleted the computer's information afterward. After coming to terms with what happened to him, Marcus decided to stay hidden. He occasionally helped in large-scale things that would otherwise kill a lot of people, but he stayed away from small-time robberies unless he was directly present and dragged into it. He takes the odd job, so long as it's not against his morals, in order to get money to feed himself.

Character Bio:
Name: Naomi Yurai
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Ability: Shapeshifting, voice modulation, enhanced reflexes.
Appearance: Naomi can change her physical form at will, but her actual form is a 5'4" Asian girl. She has soft facial features and silky-smooth black hair that goes down to the middle of her back. She has amber eyes. She generally wears a white tank top, a black track jacket, and a pair of dark grey jeans with black combat boots.
Personality: Naomi is generally calm and carefree. Of course, she has to be cautious, it comes with being a metahuman. However, she's not as on edge as a lot of others are. She uses her powers on a whim when no one's looking, and even uses them to play the occasional prank for her own amusement because she simply gets a kick out of it. She sees life as just one big ride, and she's in it for the thrills.
Strengths: Her powers allow her to change her body's form, as well as her current clothing. She can also change her voice into other realistic sounding voices of varying pitches and tones. Her enhanced reflexes allow her to actually put up a decent fight if the need arises. While she doesn't have enhanced strength, she can react faster than most.
Weaknesses: While she's quick in a fight, Naomi isn't very physically strong. Facing against an opponent who's fairly quick and strong, she'd get taken down without much difficulty.
Backstory: Naomi Yurai was born to a small family in a rural town. She found out about her ability early on and informed her parents. Luckily for her, her ability wasn't one that was hard to conceal. She used it from time to time to play pranks or to get extra things she wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Nothing really tragic in her case. She left home when she was sixteen to see the thrills of the world. She left without informing her parents beforehand, simply leaving a note behind. She takes odd jobs in order to make money and keep herself fed. Other than that, she wanders around and sleeps wherever she can for the heck of it.

Name: Vincent Reese
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Ability: Peak human condition/Vertigo inducement (Able to make people feel dizzy, nauseous, unbalanced, and in severe cases causes vomiting and lose on consciousness via eye contact. This makes defending against Vincent extremely difficult (near impossible).
Appearance: Messy black hair, green eyes (burning orange when using vertigo), dark scruff lining his wide chin, and sun kissed skin. 6'3, bulky muscled build, but not so bulky it restricts his movements, and a heavily scarred upper chest. Dark faded purple armor with black accents (think iron man meets deathstroke without a mask) and black goggles (the lenses glow an orange almost like headlights when vertigo is active). Large steampunk-esk sword made up of a shiny silver metal that can segment apart into a bladed whip for ranged attacks.
Personality: Calm yet rough type. Vincent has a grudge against humanity that seems to always be causing him anger. Although like most other muscled grumps, Vincent has his weakness. Children. Vincent cant help but melt under the eyes of youth at which point his personality takes a complete 180 and he seems rather innocent and cheery.
Strengths: Vincent's best trait is his incredible tactile versatility, helping him take out enemies far beyond his level. He's always got spare supplies strapped to his heavily armored body and he is ALWAYS ready for any situation.
Weaknesses: His love for the safety of children can keep him from performing at his best. He also cant induce vertigo without making eye contact with the target. (Slides goggles onto his forehead when using this power.)
Backstory: Grew up in a rather dark and gloomy city the was constantly loaded with crime and constantly had to fight off muggers and such throughout his youth, his vertigo saving his tail more times than he can count. But one night a few days before his birthday, he beat down the wrong mugger and, out of the, said mugger and friends followed him home, capturing and murdering Vincent's younger brother to 'make a point'. In a fit of rage, Vincent murdered every man who was involved in the taking of his only brothers life. He now spends his life a bounty hunter, taking down heroes and villains alike (if the pay is good enough).

accepted. Really interesting power. Does the target have to be looking at Vincent's eyes as well in order for it too work?

Yeah, so theirs usually only a few moments that he can use it in battle. That is unless he's fighting someone naive or just dumb who wont stop making eye contact. But he tries not to use his powers unless necessary. Take note he also has peak human condition. His physical attributes are all basically low superhuman level, and he's an incredibly skilled tactician, so head to head fights wont be easy even with super speed/strength.

It would be a good idea to figure out how we want the current ark of the rp to be about. Anyone have a first main villain idea? Or a reason for any of us to meet?

I've got an idea for a villain and I've got an idea which we can branch upon for the plot.
I was thinking that the government decides to create this law all of the population with supernatural abilities have to register themselves so that they can be monitored by the government. which causes a divide between the gifted population. Half think its fine since they think it is necessary to be accepted into society and the other half think it's a trap and they can use that top kill off the gifted population

So... Captain America: Civil War?

Name: Xyris nue
Gender: Male
Age: just turned 18
Ability: He has the power to summon Ward (More on that later)
Appearance: He is a tan guy with unclean short sleeve shirts. his jeans have a hole in the left pocket but he plays it off as a fashion trend. he is average height but not that big in weight.

Personality: Xyris is a mischievous nuisance that enjoys doing whatever he likes. While he does has a caring side, he will most likely choose to be selfish and what ever helps. He will take on petty crimes like stealing but anything harsher would feel to extreme for him. Xyris is obsessed with good story and may purposefully goad people if it means getting an interesting outcome.
Strengths: Xyris is pretty decent in quick thinking and reflexes, but besides that hes somewhat average.
Weaknesses: Summoning Ward really is his only power, after that he could easily be labeled as a normal guy.

Backstory: Xyris thought his life was always considered unlikable. Most of his actions were for selfish gain and it did not seem like he was going to stop anytime soon. His parents were very distant and as of such he developed a habit into talking to himself, or just try to continue a conversation even if nobody was there. Besides getting in trouble a lot there was not much too his life until his sixteenth birthday. on which after a disappointing one man party in which he stole some of his dads alcohol and got drunk he muttered some form of intelligible mumble that caused a very dark hole to appear beneath hiss feet. As he stared into a singular eye stared back. (Continue in Ward's bio)

Name: Astovofixtuvern. Or Ward whichever you prefer.
Gender: ?
Age: ?
Ability: An unknowingly vast amounts of ability's. Wards powers could rival what would essentially be gods but he limits what power he uses and what powers he gives to Xyris (Mainly telepathy, Telekinesis, and Teleportation)

Appearance: The first ever appearance of Ward was colossal sized eyeball with black claws hovering beside it. After meeting a making a pact with Xyris his appearance changed drastically. His dismantled form was usually either a blue tattered and terribly sewn wizards hat, or a shiny cape with a golden yellow on the outside and a starry inside that looked like the background of space itself. If he ever wanted to b human it would be theses two sets of clothing along with a cheap looking wood staff and a pasty skinned teen. He would look to be a bad wizard cos player except for his eyes would not have pupils.

Personality: Ward is very distant, a non talkative entity who would rather listen then speak in a conversation. He is interested in all things new and loves to experience events he deems significant. Whenever he get to decide he is very neutral in conflict, not willing to aid those if Xyris does not command so. With his relationship Xyris, Ward is very loyal as he is the reason Ward can actually be able to enter earths realm. In most cases he will follow Xyris's orders but will not budge to his limits such as only giving Xyris three powers. In most cases he is like a bodyguard but still with a will of his own.

Strengths: Ward's true potential is unknown. It could be limitless, but he refuses to show off at all.
Weaknesses: His passiveness makes him completely useless on his own and will not help unless Xyris commands so. Also as he usually shows up as a piece of clothing he does not do much on his own and disappear if he takes too much damage.

Backstory: As the eye peered back it looked at the drunk teen with distant delight. The eye shrunk to a rather small form and floated out of the hole. The eye told the teen how thankful he is allowing him to exit his barren realm. He explains to be astovofixtuvern but Xyris just calls him Ward. After their introduction the two made an agreement, Xyris would be able to summon him to earth as long and in return would receive three powers, no more. Telepathy, the ability to read minds( even though Xyris barely uses it). Telekinesis the ability to move things with your mind. And teleportation, the ability to instantly move from one place to another. Ward also limited Xyris three powers so that doing any of the three would put a strain on him. With their agreement finally understood, Xyris uses the powers of Ward to live a carefree life.

Is this a sequel to Crimson City? If so, I have a few questions.
1. Can I use my characters from crimson city?
2. How long after Crimson City does this take place?
3. Is it okay if I make up what happened after Crimson City died regarding my characters?

@Nintenduck You can dow what you like with the context to your character, but this Rp won't efer to crimson city at all.

Alright then. I'll remake my characters to make more sense in this roleplay.
Name: Alex Glider
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Ability: He is able to jump to great heights, and then glide safely to the ground. He can easily control how high he jumps and how fast he glides, allowing him to use his powers for combat, or just traveling great distances.
Appearance: He has blond hair, which he sticks up in the front, blue-green eyes, and slightly tan skin. He usually wears a dark grey sweatshirt, and is always wearing his hood up. He claims it makes him more aerodynamic, but has yet to prove it. His most notable feature though, is that he always keeps a submachine gun attached to his belt.
Personality: Alex is cold, and unfeeling. He doesn't trust anyone unless he absolutely has to. The only thing he cares about is himself. He'd kill everyone he knows to save himself if he had to, but it isn't impossible to befriend him. If someone became very close to him, he could change, but it would take quite a while.
Strengths: Since he isn't the most trusting person, it's almost impossible to betray him and get away with it. He always has his SMG at his side, ready to make someone's life a little bit shorter.
Weaknesses: His strength also acts as weakness. Since he doesn't trust anyone, he's usually overly cautious. It also leads to him having a tendency to make false accusations, assuming someone wants to kill him, when they're just asking why he has a gun. Speaking of which, he doesn't care who sees his gun. He always has it as if it's completely normal, which leads to him having to take advantage of his ability to travel more than he'd like to admit.
Backstory: As a child, Alex never met his parents, and was raised in an orphanage. He was always the quietest child there, and for good reason. At this orphanage, the children were constantly abused, even if they didn't do anything. Over the years, Alex grew bitter, and adopted (Ha, adopted!) the mindset that the only one anyone cared for was themself. Eventually, Alex couldn't take it anymore, and ran away from the orphanage into a forest. After an hour of walking, without knowing where he was going, Alex came across another boy who was slightly older than him. This boy told Alex his name was Fiction, and though it seemed strange, he became Alex's best, and only friend. Eventually, Fiction helped Alex discover his ability, and they decided to part ways. Not knowing what else to do, Alex became an assassin, killing anyone if he was paid to do it. Somewhere along the way he found, bought, or probably stole his signature SMG, and it became his most prized possession.

Name: Fiction (His real name is unknown.)
Gender: Male
Age: Classified
Ability: Fiction has the unique ability to harness dark energy. This allows him to teleport, hover in the air (It's not technically flying), shoot blasts of dark energy, see things that are invisible, sense energy, and use very limited telekinesis.
Appearance: His hair is a shiny black, and comes down to his shoulders. He wears all black clothing, and sunglasses to hide his eyes. He wears black gloves and keeps a pistol attached to his belt (It was recommended by Alex) The only part of his body where his skin is visible is his face, and it's so pale it's almost white.
Personality: Fiction is completely insane. He has no regard for human life, usually does things that make no sense, and seems to think life is a game where the last one alive wins. Of course, he doesn't just kill everyone he sees, but he often acts very irrationally. He likes to have fun with anyone he fights. He'll sometimes end up just talking to his enemies and dodging there attacks, not fighting back until he gets bored, and even then he likes to take his time. His motto is, "if you kill someone once, you can't kill them again, unless they come back to life, which would be really cool." Like I said, he's not very stable.
Strengths: Really, all of his strengths come from his abilities.
Weaknesses: Surprisingly, Fiction always plays fair. When I said he thinks of life as a game, I meant it. If he makes a deal with someone, he keeps it, unless they cheat. Because of this, he can easily be taken advantage of or outsmarted. He also never plans ahead, which leads to him finding himself in dangerous situations often.
Backstory: As a young child, Fiction loved nothing more than superheroes. He read every comic he could he his hands on. The same could be said about his twin brother. Together, they fantasied of saving the world from some unstoppable evil. The two were inseparable. Of course, both of them were extremely excited when they found out they had powers, but only at first. Fiction's brother, who's power was light energy was praised by his family, and was expected to have a great future. Fiction though, had the power of dark energy, and everyone he knew started to seem afraid of him. As every day passed, he felt himself becoming more of an outcast, trapped in his perfect brother's shadow. The worst part was, Fiction's brother stopped talking to him completely, and started ignoring his very existence. Eventually, Fiction snapped, and the darkness corrupted him. In a state of blind rage, he killed his entire family, ending with his brother. As he stood above his brother's corpse, the image was burned into his brain. He couldn't believe what he had done. Not knowing what else to do, he ran into a forest. He ran until he couldn't run anymore. In that forest, he slowly went insane, and the darkness stared talking to him. It told him many things. Some of them he wished he hadn't learned, but the darkness was his only friend, until one day, when another boy wandered in to the place Fiction claimed as his home. Fiction was going to kill him, but before he did, he sensed the boy's power. Realizing he was just like him, Fiction befriended this boy, who's name was Alex. Fiction helped train Alex until he could use his powers. Since he didn't have a last name, Fiction decided to call Alex, "Alex Glider," and somehow the name stuck. After parting ways with Alex, Fiction-
Sorry, I actually lost track of what Fiction did after that. He can be really confusing sometimes.

Name: Corrina Taylor
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Ability: She can control and manipulate energy. From pure energy (electricity) to using said energy to create objects. However, the larger and/or more complicated the object, the longer it takes to create. As for what she can create, she can create anything that does not involve life.

In her natural state (something that will be explained in appearances), Corrina go into wires and electronics of all kinds; if something is capable of carrying an electronic current, she can enter it, and leave it, at will. She can also manipulate the shape of her natural form to dodge most attacks.
Appearance: A small woman of only about five feet three inches, Corrina has rich brown hair with dyed pink highlights that reaches the bottom of her shoulders. Her eyes are a cold, almost dead, light blue. She wears a simple white dress shirt with a black blazer jacket and a pleated black skirt. On her feet is a pair of mary jane shoes. Her hair is loosely tied with a black and white ribbon.

It is important to note that this body of her's is completely robotic. The origin of this body will be explained later; however, her true form is a vague humanoid shape. It is composed of dark blue and black energy with pointed legs and arms without any true hands or feet or facial features. This form tends to spark and fluctuate as the energy that generates this form continually flows. This form also lack things like hair and doesn't even have a face.
Personality: Corrina is very cold and emotionless. She is obsessed with knowledge and will learn all that she can, whenever she can. However, this is also a vice for her as she can sometimes cross serious boundaries for the sake of her... let's just call them experiments. Having spent the majority of her life without any hormones or true physical being whatsoever, she tries to feel and emote but often lacks an understanding of these emotions or a means to feel them in any strong sense. She wishes to but just can't pull it off. This doesn't mean that she can't show things like kindness; she is very kind and gives to others whenever she can. Her lack of emotion just makes her unpredictable.

She is also very dedicated and loyal to whatever job she decides to take on. Without a physical body, she can go an eternity without sleep an has been known to do just that when taking on a particularly tricky job: building the mechanical body she wears currently. As a side note, she actually loves sleep because she sees it as a wonderful mental vacation. Due to her emotional attachments being almost nonexistent- but not impossible to form!- she tends to hole her job, whatever it may be at the time, in the highest regard. It is her sole duty for the allotted time of the day and she will knock it out the park if it's the last thing she does! Although she never competes, it is entirely possible she has a powerful competitive side.
Strengths: In her mechanical body, she is much more durable. Made from very strong, sturdy metal. As such, she can fight for hours, using herself as a living weapon.

In her natural state, she is much faster. Her natural form can enter anything with currents of electricity. She can deliver much more powerful attacks in this state and she can morph her form to be whatever she needs it to be. As such, she is very difficult, but not impossible to hit.
Weaknesses: In her mechanical body, she is much slower and the strength of her attacks is limited by the body she built. In her natural state, she is much more fragile and any hit could potentially be fatal. Her most exploitable weakness comes from her lack of emotions; losing the ability to truly feel more than 10 years ago, Corrina is almost entirely runs on logic which leaves her easy to manipulation. She doesn't so much care about right or wrong, good or evil. As long as innocents aren't slaughtered or maimed, she follows whatever the logic says. Also, hacking. Her body is a machine that runs on its own vast network. It can be hacked; her mind cannot but her body can.
Backstory: From the time she was born, Corrina was attracted to all things electrical. Her parents had a hard time raising her as she barely ate anything. When she finally learned to crawl, she hauled herself to the nearest outlets. Her parents immediately took her to a doctor, panicked that she had hurt herself; instead, the small exposure to electricity seemed to make the baby healthier. Indeed, Corrina can feed on electricity.

As she grew older, she tried to feed on larger doses of energy. It was through this process that she was involved in an accid- it was lightning. She tried to eat lightning and her little body couldn't handle the blast. Able to feel something very wrong with her body, she focused on trying to get away from it. She isn't sure how but she was able to extract her natural form from her organic body; she was seven years old. However, she had no idea how to reenter her body, which quickly deteriorated without the life and consciousness inside it.

Knowing how gifted people were treated, her parents hid Corrina away in their home. While having a body built for her was possible, it would be insanely expensive and Corrina's family could barely support Corrina and her younger sister, Jezebel. Jezebel didn't mind; not going to school meant she didn't have to pretend to eat regular food. While she had been able to eat just fine, she found it entirely uncomfortable. She much preferred feeding on electricity.

Being stuck at home meant she was able to test the limits of her powers; she caused multiple blackouts for the whole neighborhood in the process. However, lacking an organic body has it's drawbacks. She had no hormones whatsoever. This led to an almost complete lack of emotion very quickly. Most reactions are not ones of genuine feelings but ones of "Oh, they should this; a normal human would react like this". In addition, the hormones needed to mentally advance a child as they grow were also lost. With Corrina's abilities, she quickly intellectually surpassed her parents as she was able to practically absorb anything she could want to learn from the articles she'd find online.

Intellectually, she has documented much of recorded human history, documented sciences, art etc; she didn't finish making her own body until she was 19 so she had plenty of time to research. This knowledge has helped her mentally develop so she is around 16 mentally. However, not have the emotions to react to much of anything has left her with a naivete about the world and people as well as an innocent, childish curiosity about pretty much everything.

Now that she's had a body built for a couple of years, Corrina has managed to gain three jobs (one full time and two part time) she can work from her house. Years of constant research enabled her energy comprised mind to process information much faster than a typical person. She has three different jobs and bank accounts under three different names so she can make her desired income while also supporting her parents, who have several health issues that they neglected to provide for their children. Thanks to Corrina's aid, they are now getting the medical attention they need.

Name: Jezebel Taylor
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Ability: Jezebel's strongest powers are of the mental variety. She can sense and, to a degree, control fear. Depending on how afraid someone is and that person's willpower, she can plant ideas and actions into a person's head, effectively having a level of mind control. These abilities also feed on fear, growing more powerful the more fear she's around. However, this enhanced power fades fairly quickly once she leaves the terrified behind. Another psychic ability she has is the ability to levitate. She has all the agility and speed of great flier but as she is using her mind it's technically still levitation; the last time she tested her speed, she could reach 75 mph in a dive. She also has a small form of supervision and, in an area where her vision is completely obscured, she can see over a mile away.
Appearance: Her hair, which is long and silky, reaches the small of her back. It's an eminence shade of purple. Her large eyes are the color of molten gold. Standing at 5'4", she is very slender and has fair skin. She usually wears long sleeve shirts that have loose sleeves and are slit at the wrists. They neckline plunges in a v-neck to the bottom of her ribs. She wears faded skinny jeans that are frayed and torn from her knees up. For shoes, she goes simple with silver and black sneakers.
Personality: Snarky and sarcastic, Jezebel is a difficult person to like. She enjoys messing with people's minds and has an exceptionally short temper. She has a hard time reigning in her aggressive tendencies; however, she is very loyal and does make an effort to loving and caring to those she cares for. Due to her abilities being what they are, it has made her a bit of a mental sadist; she actually once showed her seven year old cousin 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' just because she was craving the power boost. That was back when she had barely turned 16 and she was still riding the high from being at school, around students she fed on all day for years, when she decided to do this. She is very internally conflicted on this. Having the powers she does makes not being a sadist extremely difficult but she does admit that most of the people who are closest to her being terrified of her gets very lonely. Adding onto what was mentioned earlier, having this kind of power is a drug to her, leading to her struggles to stop.
Strengths: Jezebel is a predator; she knows her weaknesses and hunts down those she knows would be susceptible to her powers. These people are all either well connected, physically strong, or quite wealthy. After ensuring prolonged exposure to these people, she can camp out on the rooftops near where they are and control the to wire her money, rob for her, or keep her privy to very useful information.
Weaknesses: Her powers have the potential to be great but as she lacks an ability to induce fear, she must rely on mind games and go person to person to find those best suited to her gifts. Her body is also quite frail with her bones being nearly hollow; as such, she can't take much damage in a fight and relies more on manipulation and speed.
Backstory: Being the smallest kid in her class, Jezebel was teased a lot and thus quickly learned to stand up for herself. When she noticed how good she felt when the other students were scared of her, she started becoming a bully herself just to get their fearful reactions. While her older sister was busy building herself a body, Jezebel was ruling over the school, getting her own version of a high every day. Then a new boy started attending her class when she was in the tenth grade. His name was Alexander and no matter what she did, he was wasn't scared of her.

After a bit of dancing around each other, unsure of what was going on between them, they discovered that they both had powers! Alexander had powerful mind control and a vast magical abilities...as long as he memorized the spells first. After learning this, they quickly became best friends. Jezebel isn't sure if he used his abilities on her; she was usually at her most powerful when at school and it usually didn't deteriorate completely until after Alexander had to be home each day. They are currently in a relationship, albeit a long distance one. In his pursuit of magical knowledge and artifacts, Alexander is traveling the world. Jezebel has managed to get by as a very successful criminal mastermind and con artist who lives in a very spacious two bedroom apartment.

Name: Macellarius Church
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Ability: Bibliokinesis (The ability to shape and manipulate literary devices and their contents)
Appearance: Macellarius stands at 5'8, slender with a moderate frame. His face is oblong in shape, long and narrowed into a decently defined jaw, with dull hazel-coloured eyes and a mole kissing the warm beige skin beneath his right, likewise to his father and brother. His hair, platinum blonde in colour and parted from the middle of his scalp, sweeps upwards to either side of his head, whereas half of the back of his head is neatly trimmed down into a close shave. He dresses both smartly and flamboyantly, often accompanied by a hot pink scarf in accordance to his unzipped brown leather jacket, black-and-white stripped shirt tucked into his pale blue jeans (which are, in turn, held up by a black belt), and a pair of brown hunting boots. Resting on the bridge of his nose are a fetching pair of square-framed glasses.
Personality: Despite all of his idiosyncrasies and his inability to confide in others or convey even his simplest emotions, Macellarius cares deeply for the safety and wellbeing of those around him. He's good-humoured and nearly always brimming with energy and enthusiasm, rarely able to keep his entire body still for very long before needing to adjust his position. He copes with serious matters through jokes, as he is uncomfortable with intimacy and, especially, with receiving empathy for his own personal problems. He is sometimes difficult to manage, as he can be cutting and acerbic when he's been put into a dreadful mood and holds grudges longer than might be considered healthy. He is stubborn and despises figures of authourity, as he firmly believes that they have not earned his respect.
Strengths: He is extraordinarily creative and intelligent, allowing him to make critical decisions at a moment's notice.
Weaknesses: His temper may cause him to act irrationally and his stubbornness could potentially make it very complicated to work with/befriend him. He is not particularly physically adept, and so strenuous physical activity may pose a problem for him.
Backstory: Macellarius and his twin brother, Lucror were born to Morgenstern and Evangeline Church. His father, himself, had been a metahuman with the ability to tap into the mind of a feral beast, and his mother had fallen deeply in love with him and promised to protect him and his secret from the public. However, when he and his brother were still young, Evangeline grew gravely ill and passed away in her sleep. His father, devastated by his loss, fell into a profound depression, attempted to raise his sons until his health, mental and physical alike, had deteriorated beyond the ability to care for the two of them. In an attempt to protect their identities, they were sent off to separate houses to be raised and looked after by different families while he admitted himself into the hospital to waste away in solitude. Macellarius despises his father for not being strong enough to care of his children himself and blames him for nearly all of the shortcomings in his life. He and his brother still write to each other (an activity which could be potentially dangerous if their messages are intercepted), but have not seen each other since their father's admittance. He discovered his powers shortly after moving in with a family friend, a disabled man in his 30's by the name of Aleki Leung and a sympathizer of the metahumans without any powers of his own.
