The orangish gem summoned her dagger in self-defense as she abandoned the Era-2 peridots. Quartz soldiers were clashing with the rebels not too far away. All Madeira Citrine wanted was for the rebels to win, she didn't care for the diamonds. Keeping her each step quiet, she reached the ship bay- the emergency escape pods back where she worked were guarded. The bay seemed empty, apart from a quick glimpse of another gem she was able to see. Hiding her dagger and quickly hopping onto one of the closest ships, Citrus got ready to abandon Homeworld, and go to anywhere else, any other planet.

Kunzite Spodumene ran up to the Amethyst, holding onto them for a moment, tears in her eyes. A bright, flashing light surrounded the area for a moment. The two smaller gems had disappeared, and another had appeared. A dark purple gem, Musgravite, took a moment to look around for any Homeworld soldiers. There were none, so she ran over to the docks and hopped onto a ship.

Labra's eyes widened as she saw the two other gems. She pressed her arms and knees closer and bit her lip when she heard the passing of security. She ran a hand through her hair and got ready to summon her weapon of needed.

Tiger sliced the last Homeworld gem in half and left in the area, the bruised warrior huffing in exhaustion afterwards. The war raged on beyond her, Tiger tired of the fighting. She broke into a sprint, covering the distance between herself and the ship bay relatively quickly. Tiger's footsteps echoed as she burst in, seeing three gems scattered about. She walked slowly up to a ship, her large frame barely fitting into the tight space. Tiger was ready to leave the fighting, no matter the consequences.

Labra's eyes widened as she saw the large gem get in and pushed herself far away. She pushed a hand to her gem incase anything happened. She looked over the ship and started to crawl toward the controls.

Olive readied her star, in case something went wrong. Light pitter patter noises were coming from the other side of the wall she was hiding behind. She shot her arm forward, launching her star forward. In an instant the star split into two. A shriek came from the other side so Olive poked her head around the corner. A home world gem was lying on the floor with a star in its face and neck. Within milliseconds, a poof noise was heard. A cloud of smoke left behind a gem, it belonged to a Pearl. A ship was mere meters away so Olive made a dash for it. A small, child like gem was wandering around calmly. Several jaspers were taking out any gems they could find. One noticed the small gem and they all headed for it. Olive slid her star across the floor just as a Jasper head butt the small gem, the star missed bye a long shot. The small gem poofed. Olive kept her calm and decided quickly to wait till the Jaspars had left and to get back the gem. But just as. They were leaving her star came speeding along the ground. A Jasper slipped on it and stumbled, her foot stomping down on the small gem by mistake. Olive let out a shriek of anger and distress, the jaspers turned and charged at her. She quickly dove into the ship and pressed buttons frantically. Finally the doors shut. She took her time and eventually got the ship going. She set the ship to autopilot and waited to see where she would end up.

Musgravite looked around the ship, it was shaking. Getting up, she looked back. Already- the ship was quickly abandoning Homeworld. Looking around, she was able to spot other gems. Surely they all escaped too. I doubt that they are Homeworld soldiers.

Black Pearl heard something coming from the ship bay as she walked past. She walked in and found some gems escaping on a ship. Black Pearl summoned her sword and shouted "Stop it! What do you think you're doing?" But the ship had already left the bay. Black Pearl stared at the ship as it departed.

Zircon steadily gazed at the Planet from the bridge of his flagship as they approached orbital distance; Earth, a planet currently at war with their own. With his mind set on that, he began to wonder how well the armies of homeworld were doing down there. Granted, Homeworld outnumbered the enemy, but the rebels have proven time and again that numbers don't always win a battle. He had seen first hand what they were capable of, and he respected them for their bottomless courage and loyalty toward his rival, Rose Quartz. Flashbacks of their three duels began soaring through his head until they were abrubtly cut off by a scanner's alert system.

(Is the ship bay in question ON the ship, or back at homeworld? I have a scenario worked out for either situation)

(Homeworld)
Labra relaxed. Her shoulders slumping as her head fell back. It gently the wall begins her and she looked to the front of the ship, eyes wandering through the scene. She then turned to the other gems, "hi"?

Black Pearl stomped over to a control panel in the wall and used it to call Yellow Diamond.
Black Pearl saluted when Yellow Diamond picked up and said: "Some gems have escaped on a ship! Should I go after them?" When Yellow Diamond gave the O-K and ended the call, Black Pearl ran over to a Roaming Eye and shoved aside some Rubies about to get on. Black Pearl switched the settings to Pearl height and departed.

"What's going on?" Zircon asked as he approached a Peridot running a check.

"Sir! We've picked up an incoming ship from Homeworld on our scanners." The Peridot replied, saluting. Zircon turned this around in his head. His reinforcements weren't supposed to arrive for another week. "Should we contact them and have them identify themselves?"

"Please do so. And while you're at it, have the ship's weapons primed just in case." Zircon answered, turning to the bridge's transmission screen as Peridot made contact. "Incoming ship, identify yourself." He commanded.

Labra moved over to the controls and changed course quickly. She pushed the ship's speed as she tried to get away from the potential threat. Her fear lessening the further they got away.

"They're fleeing from us!" the peridot exclaimed. "General Zircon, what are your orders?" Zircon remained silent for a moment, his suspicion confirmed.

"Open fire." He said, "Disable the ship if you can, but destroy it otherwise." His subordinate nodded, and gave the command. A hail of turret fire soon rained down on the fleeing gems' ship.

Labra took a deep breath as she started evasive maneuvers. She pushed the engines to get them further away. Her grip tightened on the controls as she tried to stay calm.

The flagship continued to fire all of it's weapons as Zircon watched, thinking about his next move and how to deal with these rebels if they caught them. "General, they're about to exit our range of fire!" Peridot said, looking up to him. Zircon let out a sigh as he felt there was probably only one way remaining to stop it.

"Lock onto it's location, and prepare the Daybreaker." He ordered. "Also, follow them to keep them in our range."

"Sir, that might be a bit excessive..." Perdiot stated, looking at the ship's small size. "Not to mention it's only a prototype! Do you think it's ready to use?"

"I've made sure all the necessarry installations were made, yes." Zircon replied. "And to be frank, If this ship's coming from Homeworld, they might have valuable intelligence. Intelligence best left out of the rebels' hands."

"You make an excellent point, sir." Peridot praised. "Priming thrusters...Ignition." The enormous, hand-shaped vessel began to follow it's prey, it's surface cannons still firing away. As it moved, a large disc built into the palm began to emit a bright flash of light. The fingers adjusted until the flagship looked like it was holding an invisible ball. "The Daybreaker will be ready to fire in 30 seconds, General."

"Good. Warn the crew to brace themselves. We might get more than a little recoil from this blast." Zircon grimaced.

"Roger. Attention all hands, prepare for the Daybreaker's firing!" Peridot passed on the command to the rest of the ship through it's intercom. "Firing in 10...9...8...7..." The bright light began to form an orb of energy above the palm's disc.

Labra pushed into the planet's atmosphere. She hid within the mountains that it had and landed. She leaned back in the chair and her shoulders slumped. Labra stood up to stretch her arms.

"Fire!" The peridot commanded. A low hum emitted from the disc before a massive laser fired after the craft, missing it and destroying half the range it landed on. Zircon held on tightly as the flagship jerked back from the recoil of the weapon, and the bridge shook under his feet.

"Did we hit them?" He asked after regaining his composure, impressed by the weapon's power despite it being a prototype.

"Negative, General. They landed safely on the surface." The peridot sighed. "If we were just a second faster..."

"Don't beat yourself up over it. We still have time." Zircon said, placing a hand gently on his subordinate's shoulder. "Prepare the landing craft and set up a perimeter around the landing site." He then looked up at the planet, noticing the giant crater. "Also, if you have the time, lead a survey team to run some calculations on the power of the Daybreaker, and have a matainence team look over it for any damages....Let's see, what else...Oh! Send word to Blue Diamond about what we've come across."

"Yes, sir!" Peridot said, saluting as the general walked out of the bridge toward the ship bay. When he was gone, she opened up a transmission to Blue Diamond.

A Periwinkle Sapphire walked through the corridor of Blue Diamond's ship. She turned to her Pearl, "Pearl, the door" She said in her calm, soothing tone. The Pearl nodded and walked over to the hand-scanning door leading to Blue Diamond herself. "Of course, Your Clarity" She stuttered nervously, tapping at the small screen on the wall. She held her hand up to the door and a faint clicking sound came from the screen. The doors slowly swung open. "Now, wait here." Sapphire instructed. She walked in through the doors, which swung shut behind her.

Blue Diamond sat in her throne, her pearl sitting by her feet. Sapphire lifted her hands up and crossed them over, creating a diamond shape. "My diamond, you've requested I be here" She said. Blue Diamond spoke, "Yes, Sapphire, You know what to do" She commanded. Sapphire touched her gem, which shone in response. She suddenly had a vision, she wasn't surprised. The ship would land at the new planet, and all would be well. Kindergartens would be built and new gems would emerge from the ground, ready to serve their diamonds. She told Blue Diamond what she saw and left, the door opening as she approached. Sapphire's pearl shut the door and followed silently, not asking a question, not making a sound. Sapphire had duties to attend to, and if the young Pearl wanted to live, she'd have to not ask anything, as curious as she was. Sapphire walked up to a room with a General Zircon and a Peridot in it, they seemed to be firing at something. Her pearl tried to sneak a look, but was caught by Sapphire. The pearl's lip quivered, she started to tremble. "Your curiosity will only cost you, it does not give" Sapphire said. The pearl frantically nodded and stepped back, thankful that she wasn't going to be dobbed on.

Black Pearl watched the prototype fire. "Wow. That worked really well, for a prototype." With all thoughts of pursuing the ship forgotten, Black Pearl decided to inspect the site where it landed. She went to the planet and found a gigantic crater where it hit, so, finding nothing peculiar, Black Pearl decided to look for the Labradorite. She found the place where she landed not far from the crater. It's a good thing I took a Roaming Eye, she thought. She turned on the searching mechanism and started to look.

Zircon watched as his troops loaded into the transports before entering one of them himself. "Alright, all transports, move out!" He commanded. Soon, the transports shot out of the flagship's hangar bay and toward the planet the ship landed on.

Sapphire walked into the room and watched the gems work from a distance. They seemed to be working well. Her Pearl eagerly tiptoed into the room and stood behind her Sapphire.
