Sexuality (Specifically of the homo kind)

Sexuality, eh? I say it's for the birds. I think people who are straight are merely bisexuals that haven't met the same-sex person that really turns them on. Everyone has some same-sex attraction, but some people are just more at ease at admitting it than others.

I'm definitely a bisexual, but...I have a crush on self-respecting women in general, by comparison XD They're just so pretty. :3

Personally, I just don't see what all the fuss is about sexuality. Why does it matter all that much about gay relationships...And gay marriage, for that matter? Are there financial issues associated with gay marriages? I remember once hearing that there was controversy about that from my parents. I didn't quite follow what on Earth she was talking about, so... > >

I dunno, but it seems weird. I don't like the fact that more people are dissing Christianity than talking about the subject at hand. (And to clear up a little misunderstanding, Jesus' father was a carpenter. And he was born in bethlehem. Jewish people are amazing at recording things, and i do believe there is a fricken long record in er... chronicles? I dunno, but i've been told he is in the line of Judah... methinks.)

Anyway, i have many homosexual friends/bisexual, and i'm not going to lie, sometimes i feel weird hainging out with one in particular because they know im straight and hit on me > >... but besides the point, they are just as red-blooded as us, and their preference of choice is just a bit different. Yea, i'm not saying that i like it. But i accept it. I don't bash gays, because they're just people the same as the rest of us. It has become as acceptable in our culture as... going to mcdonalds or something. There, sure, if you belive it's wrong, then thats your perogitive, but don't bash people just because of something you believe. If you do, more people won't listen to you anyway. Because even a fool is thought wise when he remains silent.

/I hope that doesn't sound bad... and hope i didn't offend anyone.

This is what my dad told me. Then again, my dad is a moron, so I shouldn't be even saying it.

Ok i'm going to flat out and say what most sensible people are thinking.
We should let gays be gay. If they want to married and miserable like the rest of us
we should let them!! And let those little buggers have national gay appreciation day!!!X3

What is it with people nowadays and putting a random other person in their sentence to make it make NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

Shaymin, change your password. If she gets it again I'll change it.

It's been changed. This time I know she wont get it. it's now under a new security program I just recently got. You need to answer a 10 question quiz in order to see my passwords and the Q's are about personal things I don't share so she will never be doing this again. But personally about this topic (might as well reply cuz i'm on here.) I don't really care who likes who it's not my business.

I completely agree with you on that.
I believe that no one is absolutely straight or absolutely gay. I think we are all bisexual, we just prefer one gender over the other occasionally.
One of my teachers from last year told my class that in order for racism to be basically a thing of the past, a few generations need to go. Which is the same for homophobia. In order for us to obtain as little ignorance as possible, a few generations will have to die out. Even if a complete extinction of ignorance will never be possible, it's nice to know that it will eventually be a very rare thing to see in someone.

I think the struggle to handle homosexuality and the other sexualities is just like the issues with the blacks and whites and other races. We're doomed to end up hating something else somehow. Personally, I don't care weather my neighbor is in love with a guy, a girl, or even their damn foot! As long as their is love, its not wrong at all! The only reason it is frowned upon is because it is different and something that's been around longer than the issue of races. Even in biblical times there is some homosexuality found. Its bound to happen no matter what, since everyone's lives are different.

Some even say that the homosexualities are genetic, which just proves they've been so shunned that homosexuals have had to marry someone of the opposite sex either by arranged marriage or even peer pressure for all we know. And if their was no homosexuality, there would still be bisexuality, all because of porn. If everyone stayed in the box, then no one would have invented some of the greatest creations known to man. And homosexuality has supplied help in many forms, from more private interests of perverted lonely perverted people to enjoy in the privacy of their own home, to giving teenagers friends who won't come onto them, giving them the ability to understand girls better.

For a better example of something homosexuals help, back when I was in 7th grade, a group of lesbians hung out with me whenever there was an after school thing that we all attended. They helped me feel like I wasn't alone...but also because I was a complete idiot back then, I didn't know they were lesbian. But still, they were very kind, and helped keep me safe, but never made anything uncomfortable by coming onto me. It goes to show that having a friend of the opposite sex who is interested in the same sex helps you feel safe. But this isn't supposed to be able myself, it is about a true thing.

So basically to some up my opinion, just let the people of the more creative sexualities be, since they'll get enough annoying hype from their parents, school, and probably work. The problems will die eventually, so just let them be who they want to be and don't let anyone hurt them for being who they are.

As with everything in the world, there will be people who are afraid of homosexuality. Why? Because humans are instinctually drawn to fear the unknown. Not to mention the ones who are afraid of homosexuality are usually trying to attack their own inner homosexuality. Poor small-dicked police officers.

To my understanding, the United States Constitution says "...all are born with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." So, by my understanding, if being homosexual, bisexual, or anything of the sort makes them happy, then they should have the right. Everyone should have rights regardless of sexuality, race, religion, or anything else.

Okay, well i am compltly okay with Homosexuals and Bisexuals and all those other people. It seems though that alot of girls go through a Bisexual stage in middle school and early highschool, and sorta pick as time turns the tables. But there are indeed also those people who think being gay is cool or fun are spoiling for actuly gay people. Also media is really making gay people look bad, although some moveis have been suporting it, i would think they were. but alot of movies ex; I know prounouse you chuck and larry { a comedy} and Broke back mountain { not ment for all those jokes but it reseived way to many}. But media has turned it tides on it. Religion has also done this and as we see more Atheist these days which would effect the homo population.

I would most defintly aggre with you, and there making some musical or something about it, just more bad news for homosexuals because it i belive is very sterotpic

what i mean is it applies that gay is bad, i mean just the way the jokes are made about it, my little brother is scared of gay people because of the jokes made up about that movie, but i do aggre it is shit

Brokeback Mountain was a mockery of a film that was set too long ago to have any relevance to issues nowadays. The issues back then are similar, yes, but generally not the same as the issues we have nowadays. People are murdered much less often for being gay.

Don't get me wrong - homophobic discrimination is STILL common-place, it's just done in a very different way nowadays.

That, and the plot of Brokeback Mountain is basically "O hay ur fit lets have sex oh em gee he lieks me lets beat the crap out of each other then never see each other again and pretend to be straight". Ew.

I believe that sexual preference is only an issue to those that say "I don't mind gays as long as they stay away from me."

Sexual expression is the real problem in my book. I don't mind gay people expressing their love for each other if it is acceptable. Huh, I forgot the word mid-sentence, so I'll explain what I'm thinking. If two gay people kiss, for example, I don't mind it. If two gay people kiss LOUDLY and do it to make a scene to show everyone that they are gay (which some coincidentally do), then that's when I get bothered. Why? Because I find it offensive when you try to use your sexuality to garner attention for yourself and your spouse.

And that goes for heterosexual expressions of love as well. Otherwise, I find no problem with a person exploring his or her sexuality.

Brokeback mountain was not a good movie. It wasn't a "love story"; it was two dudes who were married to chicks who cheated on them by nailing each other. Nothing romantic about it.

I don't mind being around homosexuals in public; there are quite a few in my school. But I dislike any couple, straight or gay, who shoves it into my face. Save porn for the interweb.

I love them, even though I'm straight. I like that they are different and they like it. I'm comfterble with what they do too.
What I don't do good with is gay bashing, I kicked the crap out of two guys because they gaybashed my friend.

My friends and I started a rally against our vice principle because she suspended two lesbiens because they told each other they loved one another.

I support them through out my life.

To me it's just a personal preference. If i have a friend and they decide they want to be gay or bi that's theyre own business. It doesn't change who they are as a person, so i don't see why people have a problem with it. Many people believe love is blind, and whose to say it isn't? If someone likes a person and that person likes them back, no one should have to interfere with that in any kind of way whether the people be the same gender or different. Look at it as if being straight was frowned up, most people who are straight would fight for it, and so it should be the same for gay/bi. To some ancient cultures it didn't matter either way, and i don't think it should now. If someone wants to be gay, or bi, or even straight then why shouldn't they be able to?

Excatly, if it's what they want, you should back them up no matter what. If there getting made fun of, back them up. You shoulden't stop being friends with them because there gay. Support them.
