In a world similar to the Pokemon World, but different, alongside Humans and Pokemon exist a third race, Gjinka, or Pokehumans. The evolution of mankind happened around the same way, until fifty years before the RP begins. It was then that the racial tensions between Humans and Gjinka finally reached its breaking point. It began one day when a human child was mistakenly killed by a group of Gjinka, it was a terrible misfortune, made worse by the fact that it was the president's only child.
That region declared war on the Gjinka, and its allies began warring on them too. All human nations who tried to help were crushed by their combined might. The fighting was fierce and soon the human race was on the brink of destruction as the Power of a Gjinka was much more than any ordinary human
Then in came Dawn Inc, a company which had once been peaceful and made technology to help Pokemon. Then, caught in the crossfire, their main building and most of the higher ups were killed. Except one, who was attending an Anti-Gjinka rally. After that, Dawn became militry-like, and quickly began researching a way to beat the Gjinka. Then came the Gjinka-Ball
By using the basic mechanics of the Pokeball but amplified to it could catch half-Pokemon half-humans. This was done by mining crystals which were able to control Gjinka and embedding them in the balls (where the button would be). Dawn Coperation created this ball in an attempt to end the war. Gjinka were being enslaved and forced to fight against their brothers and sisters. Then the war was over, just like that.
Since then, Gjinka have been used for sport, battling like Pokemon due to their strength compared to them. Pokemon have become more like pets for the majority of the population as Gjinka battling became way more popular. There were rights movements, attempted revolutions, but each one was crushed extremely quickly.
This RP takes place in two cities known as Orderian and Wildove
Orderian was the place where the Gjinka War began, home to the main headquarters of the Dawn Corporation. It is very high-tech, and holds only the best trainers
Wilddove is one of the few places where Gjinkas are still treated as equals, and there are even rumours of rebellion stirring in its upper and lower classes alike. It is a small town surrounded by sprawling plains, mountains and rivers, over the tallest one, mount Divide, is Orderian
That is where we, the RPers come in
A group of Oderian Gjinka Trainers are travelling to Wildove, some just for training (some of the most powerful "Wild Gjinka" are there), and some to discover if there is any truth to this Rebellion
Meanwhile another group can RP as the Gjinka and Humans of Wildove, preparing the rebellion and waiting for the perfect moment to strike
