Just wondering if anyone was interested in a Power Rangers/Super Sentai role play
Just forewarning this rps basic premise and theme is heavily inspired by Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters mainly cause that was all I could visualize while writing this

No god-mod, there is a difference between god mod and being powerful
No autoing for obvious reasons
Please respect other people's choices and not create situations where only your character can shine (this can is negotiable if you can justify a reason which adds to the plot I.e new powers or a new ranger)
Each post should be at least a couple lines
With that out of the way let's discuss the themes and designs for zords and suits
Zords, the yes' and no's
Yes) your power & zord(s) can be any star sign or constellation you want it to be (within reason) and yes you can have more than one if you can justify it
No) they cannot be the same as anyone else's and yes that does include changing minute details such as wolf to snow wolf or cobra to viper etc, that being said I will allow both an eagle & a falcon zord as they have different constellations
Yes) you can have multiple zords as long as you can justify it
No) if you chose to have multiple zords you cannot have all them at once
Yes) your zord can be semi-sentient
No) it cannot talk or communicate with you in ways such as telepathy etc
Yes) you can ask me other questions privately if any come too mind regarding anything I've said in this thread
Suits
The suits will be considerably more armor like than the traditional spandex we've seen before, think more go buster powered up modes
Morphers and morphing sequence
The morphers will be a mix between the transmorphers from Lost Galaxy, the morphing base from Go-Busters
The overall design resembles the transmorphers though slightly larger and with the blue dome replaced with a clear one, visible through this dome is the Rangers morphing coin
To morph: The ranger first says "Signs of power activate!" Before rotating the gold crown surrounding the dome, finally the ranger points the morpher upward and pushes the button on the front panel.
The morphed also has most of the functions that the morphing brace has, with call, scanner and zord summon modes
First Ranger Base: an old "military lab" hidden inside a mountain
Second Ranger Base: turns out the lab was actually a spaceship as once the Rangers finally free earth they receive a message from the command center and Echo-3 leads them to the command deck.
Secret or public rangers:
Both, Ajax for example doesn't actively hide his identity nor does he flaunt the fact that he's a ranger

Mythology, Constellations and star signs
Story
Millennia ago the ancient characters of mythology ascended into the stars each leaving behind a fraction of their power to anchor them to the mortal realm, these power anchors were eventually forged into coins which were then scattered across the galaxy, according to legend these coins granted their wielder the powers and abilities of that specific sign. Legend also states that when the powers of the coins are combined they would give their user total control over reality. The oracles foretold of a day when the coins would fall into the hands of evil and a team of heroes would arise to protect the coins and defeat the evil
Fast forward a couple millena to 2027 and Earth has once again fallen prey to alien invaders only this time the invaders have already won, earth is now under the control of The Supreme Empire, ruled by Empress Andromeda and her three core generals, who await word of the discovery of additional star coins.
Villains:
Andromeda - the Supreme sign - Hydra, no one knows much about the empress, all that is certain is that she has no plans on letting a team of misfits destroy the empire she has worked so hard to create
Arigorm - the fury sign, Aries, well over 7 foot tall with red skin, crimson armor and long red horns Arius carries a huge two handed axe into battle
Vigla - the sinister sign, Virgo, short and slightly pudgy with purple skin she wears simple dark purple armor and brandishes a whip and mace in combat
Sarlius - the stalking sign, Sagittarius, Sarlius is the greatest of Andromeda's assassins and a master with a cross bow as well as knives, he wears tight fitting robes with slim armor on top
Bios
Name: Alexander James Xavier IV (Ajax for short)
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: 6'1 with a slim/athletic build, pale complexion, choppy brown/orange hair and brown eyes
Civilian clothes: jeans, a blue grey jacket with gold silver and bronze highlights and outlines atop a grey Scorpion t shirt
Ranger suit: primarily grey with black armor plates as well as gold, silver and bronze highlights and outlines
Current Sign: Scorpio
Powered up sign(optional for now): Orion
Ranger Colour: Metalic
Weapon: Scorpio spear and Star blade-blaster (standard weapon) basically it's the blade blaster from MMPR in a black and gold colour scheme with a galaxy pattern across the blade and handle
Backstory: Ajax's parents were the ones who originally discovered the prophecy of the Star guardians while mining in a labor camp north of City A117 or Starlight cove as it was known to the locals, they broke through to a small cave which contained a mural depicting the formation of the coins and the prophecy. They knew that they had just found the key to freeing earth and rumors of the discovery quickly begun to spread, worker told worker, parents told children children told everyone. The Supervising imperial officers quickly caught wind of this chatter and set explosives off within the cave before taking away Ajax's parents never to be seen or heard from again, Ajax was only 13 at the time.
It was while out on a illegal walk through the mountains that Ajax found the lab deserted and a heavily damaged Echo-3 both of which begun fixing up just to keep himself occupied. He saw this as a simple act of rebellion as a sign of respect for his parents who had sewn the seeds for their freedom, now that responsibility fell to him. It was roughly 4 years after his parents had been taken that Ajax found the Scorpio coin and morphed for the first time, following this he, a considerable amount of help from Echo, begun to experiment with ways to regulate the energy output so it could be used as a stable power source for reliable morphing. This took a further 6 months to perfect, with the creation of the star gauntlet a reliable way of utilizing the coins powers.
The zord on the other hand was easy, it would seem that Echo was able to use the coins to quickly create a zord out of just about any viable source of resources.
Finally once the lab was back in full operation , Ajax knew it was time for him to start his rebellion.
