Story:

All was going well as Splatfests and Turf Wars raged on. Inklings and Octolings had somewhat of a stable relationship, as the latter was even allowed to participate in the Turf Wars. However, a new threat arose. After the events of Splatoon 1 and 2, strange life forms showed up. They called themselves "the Sailors" and they exhibited weird tendencies. Their tentacles were connected with a sort of veil and they took a strange interest in jellyfish. Though they could turn into something like a squid or octopus and swim through ink, they didn't identify as Inklings or Octolings. All of their weapons, which they crafted themselves, had the special "Killer Wail," though this raised no suspicions.

You are one of the best in both casual and ranked modes of the Inkopolis or Inkopolis Square games. Recently, Sheldon contacted you about the sinister motives of the Sailors, and you've been asked to come to his shop for more information. You are aware that he sent the message to other people, though you haven't met. In exchange for agreeing to join his team to fight against the Sailors, he's promised a custom-made weapon and a uniform with any existing (or custom) ability.

  • Nothing too OP for your weapon or custom ability
  • No Mary-Sues.
  • Romance is tentatively allowed, nothing inappropriate. If you need a guideline, nothing past kissing.
  • Use the fifth word of the second sentence in the story to prove you read the rules.
  • I have the authority to change your custom ability if it's too overpowered

Appearance: A spikey haired inkling with normally Turquoise-ish hair/tentacles. Wears Pilot Goggles/Blue hoodie with shirt/ Turquoise kicks
Personality: Cain a friendly, somewhat laid-back, inkling that tries his best to keep his friends happy. Despite his quick-wits in turf wars and such, he can be somewhat dense at times and often gets distracted. Hates the cold.

Gender: Male
Species: Octoling
Appearance: Mandu has pale pink tentacles on top of his head in somewhat of a mop. He wears silver wire-frame glasses, a blue-and-pink striped t-shirt, and white shorts. He usually wears cream sneakers and has a small scar on his chin.
Personality: Mandu is upbeat and innocent, or so he seems. He's a tactician on the battlefield (or map) and often can predict where enemies will be. He takes great pleasure in splatting enemies but tends to not take other things seriously.
Uniform Ability: Recon

Type: Brella
Appearance: This Brella has a white handle with lavender stars and white wireframes. The shield itself is lavender with yellow stars.
Sub Weapon: Fizzy Bomb
