Edric

The wonderful thing about his powers is their versatility; sometimes, you need more than one of yourself to get stuff done, and other times, you need the right tools. Having woken up in a beanbag chair, one of the clones was clearly fixing himself a morning drink of the Emotional Damage, politely given by his Pocket Dimension the night before.

"Huh, I wonder if anyone is awake? I'll be heading out for class soon anyway." He said as he stirred his mug, which was emblazoned with a cartoon mermaid on it. It wasn't like he could control the things his powers gave him, so he wasn't picky about the design. It was kinda cute anyway.

The other clone, having slept obscenely late due to playing Pokemon, was begrudgingly dragging himself awake from the bed. It wasn't the best choice, but at least he caught a couple of new Pokemon. He was honestly more interested in seeing if Maria and Josh would interact well, especially about Ben 10.

"Hey, you know where the uniforms and those kinda stuff are?" He mumbled to himself, technically.

"Not a clue, but I see a couple of sticky notes over there. Care to check them out?"

"Fine. Pass me some of that drink when I get back."

The much more tired clone walked up the door, silently so as to not disturb anybody. Upon closer inspection, they had each of his dormmates' names written onto them in neat black ink- Jasper, Omar, Fredrick, and Edric.

"That's a bit odd, considering nobody visited last night. Ah, I'm too tired to deal with this."

He said as Edric took his note off the surface and walked back to the table, taking the mug from the clone who was there while simultaneously putting the note down.

"Oh, that's it? Just a regular note?"

The paper note poofed and seemingly transformed into a school uniform somehow, causing both Edrics to be taken aback. One of them lost their balance and fell on the floor, causing a loud thud.

" What the... how the... I'm not gonna ask questions. I'll just put this thing on." The still-upright clone said as it walked off awkwardly.

"Yikes... That actually hurt..." The clone who fell said, embarrassed and hoping nobody would notice.

-----

The uniform was a bit standard for fancy prep schools, something completely foreign to Edric, as it consisted of a bright blue blazer, the chest pocket emblemed with the signature Karma High italic 'K', a white shirt, blue tie black trousers & shoes. Every uniform came equipped with a pin, stuck just below the chest pocket.

Edric thought that the pin was the best part. It had the emblem of a siren, with a pale pink backdrop, and pressing down on it would actually change the whole blazer's color like a chameleon. It was a color-changing blazer, which was one of the many wonders he experienced that morning. As he walked out of the bathroom, in his uniform, he wondered what today would bring. It was so different from his old school, that he couldn't expect anything.

Asuna Ryugetsu

The Morning of school's Start, Asuna Ryugetsu had woken up to the sun in her face. As she got up, her shirt slid a little off her arm. As she went over to get into the shower, she saw a note, stating her Roommates' and her names on a table in the common room. She grabbed the note and poof, her uniform now laid out in front of her. She put the uniform in the bathroom to iron out as she went to take a shower. When she got out, she dried off and put her uniform on, with a couple of changes. She had a karate belt, and she wore her shirt unbuttoned on the very top button to account for her power. As she got out of her room, she made sure not to wake any other of her roommates as she left the dorm. She looked around the area, seeing all sorts of freshmen. She then started walking around the building, as she prepared for her day. She was thinking about the recent events from Meeting Orion, him accidentally admitting she was hot, meeting Tsugi, and hearing about the various plans for the School Year.

Fuyuko Redtail

Fuyuko Redtail woke up in the morning, getting out to see a note on the table, which then poofed into her uniform, as she spotted Kim. Odd to see anyone else in the dorm awake at this hour was amongst her thoughts, alongside what Marcel had planned, and what the School Year had to offer. She was about to get dressed when she saw Kim was about to do the same things. Fuyuko went to her section and got her things for her shower. She went in and took her shower. After she got out of the shower, she got dressed and tied her hair back, making sure it was out of the way, especially if she had to use a Breath Weapon today. When she finished getting dressed, she looked at her phone to make sure nothing was wrong, like her dad texting about one of her eight half brothers. No such notifications, so she texted Marcel.

"Good morning, This is Fuyuko, Are you awake?"

She then sat down thinking about her last couple of days.

Omar Shieldson

Omar had woken up rather Early, and was going through his stuff, making sure everything was there. As he got his stuff ready, a uniform popped up as he got ready, he looked at it as he started putting stuff on, doing what was necessary. He looked down at his pendant, and looked back up. He then walked out his room section when he saw Edric.

"Hey, I'm heading out, see you at school."

Omar then headed out the door, walking his way towards Dorm 15, where he dropped the cute and Adorable Petra off before heading to bed. When he got there, he knocked on the Door.

Melanie Redtail

As Melanie woke up, there was a uniform on her desk, next to her belt that her sword goes on. She then took the uniform into the bathroom as she went through to take a shower. When she got out she got dressed, but someone made her skirt a bit too wide on the waist and it kept falling off. However, she got her belt and sword ready for the day. As She got out, she carefully made sure she woke no one up, she immediately saw a rather large teen in front of her, more muscle than height. She decided that talking to him was not the best idea and headed off towards classes.

Petra awakened just a little after her roommates. She was still tired and a little sore, which she supposed was expected for a first night in an unfamiliar place. Seeing Fuyuko and Kim getting ready to go, Petra quickly followed suit, clumsily getting herself into a more presentable shape and checking out her uniform—which she delightedly watched materialize out of a piece of paper. She thought the outfit was a bit plain looking, but that was fine. Touching it, it was clear to her that the rough, heavy fabric comprising the uniform was the very same fireproof cloth that she used in her normal clothing. At least she wouldn’t have to worry about it burning off and “bailing” on her (which had unfortunately happened once before she’d started wearing specialized clothing. Embrassasing!)

Suddenly, there came a knock on the front door. Seeing as everyone else seemed somewhat preoccupied, Petra figured that she could get the door herself. When she opened it, she found Omar waiting outside.

“Oh, hi Omar! I didn’t expect to see you here. Do you want to walk to class together?”

Then, noticing that his uniform carried the same insignia as hers—the Gryphon—she added,

“Looks like we’re in the same house. You know, I kind of thought I’d be in Chimera when I got here, since my power is a bit destructive. I guess I can see Gryphon, though. You’re like a turtle, and I’m like a porcupine. Different, but both with great defense.”

Marcel slowly awoke and stretched his wings out. He hopped out of bed with a smile. But then a curious look as he saw a note with his name on it. He hopped back a bit when he noticed it materialize into a uniform. “I can work with this.” Marcel spoke with a smiled as he took his uniform and hopped into the bathroom to shower.

After his shower was done he dried himself off and threw on the uniform. It fit Marcel well, given that he had worn similar outfits back at home. He noticed the pin on his uniform, he was curious as to what it did, but he would wait to figure it out.

Marcel then noticed Fuyuko texted him, he smiled as he threw on his cape and sent a picture to Fuyuko, with a text reading.

Yep! I can’t wait to see you in a little bit.”

(@Cmeriwether )

Kim had finished the shower and was just getting changed into her uniform when Fuyuko had woken up, thankfully it seemed like she didn't press her on why she had been awake already and was off texting which she guessed was related to Marcel. Kim of course had not pressed this as she merely adjusted her outfit and had taken measures to roll her sleeves up a bit. No particular reason, Kim just preferred the freedom on her forearms. The uniform also seemed to be specially designed for her, allowing her material to shift skin with her as to not create a wardrobe malfunction. Petra seemed to wake up soon after Fuyuko as they all worked to get change before a knock at the door was heard as Kim raised an eyebrow at this.

An early morning visit? But from who?

Petra decided to go open the door, and it seemed to be Omar. One of the other students she remembered from the night prior, and one who seemed to share the same house as Petra. Gryphon. Perhaps that is what brought this visit about? Not that Kim seemed to press on that as the two seemed to plan to walk to class together.

"Seems you guys make friends fast." Kim said a bit as she packed her things into her backpack and seemed to be organized and prepared for the day ahead as she acknowledged Omar's arrival with a nod.

Grayson Kreel
Awaking slowly Grayson stretched out and yawned before climbing out of bed. He discovered a box with his name on and opened it to find his uniform. He stroked the fabric and discovered that it was made using his own hair mixed in with the fibres which would allow it to change when he changed. He put it on, leaving the shirt with the top few buttons undone he then put on the blazer and looked at the pin, "cool, guess I'm in House Gryphon" he said to himself before heading out into the dorm common area, he made himself a cup of tea and stood with it considering whether he should head down to the cafeteria or just wait for the first class.

Jacqueline Lockheed
Stretching out Jack promptly fell off the sofa she had been sleeping on with a thud "ow, forgot I didn't make it to my bed last night" she muttered, rubbing the back of her head as she stood up and stretched once more, she found her uniform and after checking no-one else was in the communal space of the dorm she quickly changed into her uniform, she examined after changing there was a hole for her tail when it made an appearance and she was certainly happy about that, she then decided to get some exercise in and slipped into a perfect split to begin stretching.

Omar Shieldson, currently trying not to blush immensely. Fuyuko Redtail, In conversation with Marcel.

Omar had looked down at his uniform when she said that they seemed to be in the same house. He then looked back at Petra's eyes, as he then responded to Petra's question, the butterflies in his stomach trying to get to him.

"Yes," He got out with out stuttering from his butterflies, "You ready to go?"

Omar then blushed when Kim, from last night, almost got in a fight with Fifi, said something about making friends fast.

Fuyuko had gotten a text from Marcel, noting that she'll see him in a bit, with a picture of the unform and his usual cape. She then set her picture back, looking at the picture of Marcel.

"Why are you so cute, Marcel?" Fuyuko whispered.

No one was supposed to hear that, but Kim could if she caught onto it. Fuyuko figured she'd start heading to school after Petra and this guy standing at the door headed out.

As his alarm rang about four hours earlier than was needed for any other student to get up and get ready for the first school day, Carter was already up and got going about his morning routine - making sure to run as many rounds around the school's building with his motivation near the highest it's ever been thanks to his excitement for this being his very first day in a school that was far, far away from his miscreant that was supposed to be his father.

As soon as he was all done and noticed it was about time to actually get ready for his first day. Returning back to the dorms, he had noticed a note with his name on it. Odd. When did it get here? Oh well, who cares! Whitaker moved to grasp it, upon which it would turn into a set of clothes as soon as he put even just a finger on it! ..even more odd. But hey, free clothes! Carter quickly nabbed them out of the air before they could even hit the ground and got himself dressed. Ah, that classic blue and white letterman jacket really did suit his sporty style, as did that navy-blue pair of shorts! And what's this, a pin with some kind of funky creature on it? Awesome!

Just as he was about to examine it, the touch of it caused his outfit to change to a crimson tone, with his sleeves tinting into a shade of violet. Honestly, he felt like this look was even a better fit for him than the blue theme! Still, he didn't exactly know whether or not he could go around with these alternative colors, so back to blue it was! And with that, alongside four more preparation checks, Whitaker headed out the dorms and sprinted to the school's main building, ready to get started!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Largest of Lads
Vincent had been up all night, just waltzing about on school grounds with as quiet as his stomp could get, still very much causing rumbling vibrations to be sent all about with his steps, just.. less noisy while doing so. Well, as much fun as it was just wandering about aimlessly in the night, wading through the cloud of mist as if he were exploring some murky waters, it wasn't exactly fun. So, in the end, he ended up just returning to the dorms and tinkered around with his powers while waiting for the sun to rise.

By the time most would be just waking up and getting ready for the new morning, Vincent was already up and out of the dorms, making his way to the school. He had figured that, the earlier he'd arrive there, the less people he'd have to lightly shove out of his way. With the same loud stomps as before, his steps shook the ground around him as he walked along. However, he was not yet planning on entering the building. He was intending to wait a bit and just enjoy the morning a bit.

Well that, and the fact that he finally, at long last, had clothes that fit him. Truth be told, when he saw that tiny note with his name on it, he did not know what to think. Yet, when he touched the little piece of paper, and those gigantic clothes just popped out, he had been excited beyond belief. All his life, he's had to run around wearing nothing but the same old vest, yet now, things are different.

Now, his outfit had been proper, consisting of light blue and dark blue sweater with a diamond pattern, alongside white sleeves and black pants. A much different, much more normal outfit than the bits and scraps he's been forced to wear before. And there was also that little emblem on there too, with whatever kind of animal it was that was engraved on it. Overall though, the outfit could have been bright pink and lime green for all Vince cared, all that mattered to him as that he had genuine, normal clothing for once in his lifetime. And that's all it took to keep make his day, even if it was just beginning.

Maria

Slinking into the classroom, Maria sighed to see that nobody noticed her. She just sat down and got out her student diary, flipping through the pages. Her mind wandered, after all she did just figure out her uniform, and nobody seemed to wanna talk to her. If only Edric was here, she’s be less lonely.

Why did she keep thinking of him? Was it because he was painfully extroverted? Was it because he talked to her once? There were too many questions about him, and now was too early to figure out love.

As she watched people interacting with one another, Maria hoped that she would see Edric someday, or maybe meet someone new. For now, she lied in wait, just sitting down at the back of the classroom.

Kim twitched a bit at that comment as Fuyuko seemed to speak a little louder than she intended, between this and Omar trying to find his voice as he seemed to speak to Petra and she seemed to be surrounded by the love bug at all sighs figuring she seemed to be the odd one out among the group.

"You uh, may want to watch your inside voice." Kim whispered to Fuyuko before she turned and nodded to Petra and Omar. "Gonna be heading to class, I wish you both well." Kim said before she began to walk out of the room and made her way over to her first class for the day. This whole lovey dovey stuff had been something she'd been eager to avoid, after all what would a high school hook up do for her chances to be a Hero someday? Least that is what Kim had told herself...

In any event she just worked to get to class nice and early and secure an optimal seat; frown row, by the window, and worked to prepare herself for the first day of classes.

Samael woke up and noticed the paper, he walked over and it turned into the uniform. He begrudgingly looked at it before going to shower and bringing it with him. Once he was done he threw on the uniform but threw on his cloak as well. He walked out of the dorm and threw the hood over his head as he walked out.

Marcel smiled as he walked out of his dorm and to Fuyuko’s Dorm. He knocked on the door and patiently waited for anyone to answer the door, he had a big smile on his face as he waited. He could not wait to see Fuyuko again, outside of Samael, Fuyuko is his favorite person in the school.

Now where had the soon-to-be infamous Pamela gone to...?
She remembered walking aimlessly....Then somehow finding her bed....And clothes?
Oh, Clothes! Something not hazy to focus on! Pamela's head pounded as if she had a hangover.

....Did she? Pamela's previous illegal exploits in the land of beer had ended in disaster, and that's what she felt now. A headache.
But at least she had her uniform! A nice blouse with breathable fabric, showing off what she had, and a jacket she tied around her waist.
Perfect. She swiped a piece of paper that she had knocked on the floor. A schedule of sorts, she supposed.
PERFECT! Time to get her high school dream on!
Kim must've moved on. Oh well! Pamela waltzed out of her dorm, and this time, she was successful in going the general direction of where she wanted to go.
Maybe I should get headaches more often, she thought. If it means I can get where I'm going!

Isolde Barley
What a night.
Isolde never again would attend a party. EVER.
She felt like she had died inside. Her hazy memories swam in the orb built around her brain, recalling pizza and loud noises.

......and a girl. Oh, she had been so intimidating. So strange, her gaze holding hers despite the fact that she wasn't even there. How in the world did Isolde ever talk to her? WHY did she talk to her?! Isolde rolled out of bed, finding a neatly folded pile of clothes.
.....That meant someone had inVADED HER PERSONAL SPACE!
Isolde had an initial panic, and then realized the bundle was probably a uniform. But that didn't make the invasion any better.
She put on a plain undershirt, and then the sweater she had chosen. The overlarge sweater's sleeves lightly brushed the ground. Exactly how Isolde liked it; it made her feel cozy and warm and safe, even in a crowd like last night. She sighed, her panic reducing to its ongoing, usual level

Isolde moved out of her bedroom and made a fast and steady clip towards her class.

Lets hope she doesn't happen to run into anyone, or she'd die again. And we couldn't have that.

“Sure thing!” Petra chimed in reply. “I didn‘t see too much of the campus yesterday, so I can’t wait to check it out.”

She quickly rushed back into the room to grab her bag, and began throwing in some things she assumed she would need. It being the first day, Petra wasn’t completely sure what she was going to need. Pen and paper seemed pretty standard, and maybe some water, too. Lastly, of course, was her blood vials. She certainly didn’t throw those in haphazardly, placing them inside with care despite them already being in their own protective holsters. Having high explosives in her school bag was certainly an odd thought, but Petra figured that this sort of thing would be understandable in a place like this. Hell, some people here were practically walking bombs themselves.

She went back to meet Omar.

“Alright, lets go!”

Reggie Ironfist

The Jovial, Energetic Young Man, Siren House Head Reggie Ironfist had been preparing for his classes, especially after being named Head of House Siren. He saw the various Freshmen, not knowing who will be under his Supervision as a House Head. As he walked, he headed off towards his classes, in his usual uniform, alongside his fire resistant Gloves. He saw as the Freshmen were looking around, trying to find classes, reminding him of when he and Riley Hathaway were Freshmen. He then walked the halls during the first day for the last time. As he walked, more freshmen were headed to different places. He then looked to see if he could spot various Freshmen, and guess if any were House Siren. As he walked, he saw a potential member of House Siren. He suddenly felt like he got hit by a cup of coffee.

"I'm so awake for Some reason!"

A short, curvaceous, brown haired girl giggled at Reggie as she grabbed his hand.

"Riley, sweetie," Reggie realized.

Samira Abdul

Samira had been on her day, looking at several things. Amongst those things were lost Freshmen, potential members of House Pegasus, and any potential Crushes with Reader of Romance. She looked around seeing a lot of freshmen, and their Interactions. As she took notes on the Students that she was picking up on with The Reader of Romance. Her uniform was a lot more conservative compared to other uniforms. She had been walking towards her class as she checked around for various lost Freshmen as she did her last first day walk through the halls. She saw a young girl who looked spooked,

Fuyuko Redtail/Omar Shieldson

Fuyuko had heard a knock on the door, which was open from Omar knocking on the door and Petra answering. She then looked past Petra to see Marcel standing at the door. She blushed immensely, realizing who it was.

"H-hi!" Fuyuko was trying not to stutter, but it was tough, "A-are y-y-you ready f-for c-class today?"

Fuyuko heard something from Kim. It was to watch her inside voice.

Omar blushed when Petra said she'd join him. He then saw that Petra had to get a few things, and when she was done, she got back.

"Let's go," Omar called out as he prepared to head off.

He checked his sleeve, making sure he was ready for the day before walking slowly so Petra could catch up.

Kim of course seemed to enter the classroom of hers early, Class 1-A as she seemed to have Professor Thornheart as her homeroom teacher. In the back of her mind Kim wondered if she should've tried to say something to Pamala, so far she proved the closest person in this school one would've tentatively called a friend, but she had shook her head at that. Pamala seemed to have a headache of some sort when she arrived back to the dorm but bed and she figured it was best to leave things be.

Besides she figured she had a chance to catch up another time.

For now she moved by the front of the class, taking the window seat to the side of the room as she already seemed to get settled. She had a notepad out along with her pencil case as she laid her backpack under her desk and seemed to just prepare for class whenever the other students and teacher had been set to arrive.

“Of course I am. Come, let’s get going.” Marcel smiled as he offered his arm again for her to take for when they would walk. That’s was when he noticed a familiar face walking towards him, it was Samael.

Samael walked over and smiled, “Morning Comrade. Whom might you be waiting on today Huh?” Samael jokingly nudged Marcel’s arm as he walked off laughing a bit. He eventually made it to the outside of his home room and took off his hood as he awaited to see Marcel again before classes.

Bouncing down the hallway was the correct way to describe Pamela. She was in her own world, ignoring her headache. But she was branched in reality enough to notice the two people cuddling down the hallway. She decided it would be prudent to introduce herself because the guy looked important.
"Howdy!" She said, flicking her eyes up and down both people. "Y'all both look so pretty, like y'all live in the Beverly Hills or something," she said as if she was complimenting them on their eye color or their hairstyle. Pamela briefly registered an air of authority around the man, but she kept this observation inside her head.
Wonder what their powers are...I would guess the guy has something to do with their hands if he walks around with gloves on. Or maybe he's like Takahashi.
"You know where 1-B is? I am quite in a bind and cannot read this map to save my life! Woe is me! sniffle..." Pamela said, feeling in a dramatic mood. Overwhelm them when you just meet them, and they'll peg you as the air headed type.
Isolde Barley
Her Barely senses were tingling. Someone was staring at her.
She whipped her head around. She felt alone in the hallway, yet Isolde could feel the uncomfortable torture of eyeballs on her.
Her eyes quite literally read the room. Who was staring? Isolde had made sure she wasn't walking through any busy hallways...Maybe she was close to a classroom? Is that a good thing for her? Or a bad thing?

Reggie Ironfist

As Reggie and his girlfriend were waiting for their thing, the girl whose aura hits like a cup of coffee walked up and was seemingly lost. The girl said something about living in Beverly Hills.

"My girlfriend lives near there, when she's not attending School. I'm Reggie Ironfist, and this is Riley Hathaway, both third years, did you need help?"

The girl had already said something else.

"You know where 1-B is? I am quite in a bind and cannot read this map to save my life! Woe is me! sniffle..."

As Reggie Ironfist looked at the map, he pointed out class 1-B. He then noticed the Symbol of House Siren on her coat.

"Class One B is down the hall to the end and make a Left, class 1-B will be on the left and the second door down on that left side!"

Reggie pointed down the hall.

Fuyuko Redtail

Fuyuko saw Marcel, taking his arm as Samael went off to find where he was supposed to go.

"I wonder how our classes are going to be today?" Fuyuko asked aloud, but somewhat nervously, in a good way, with Slight blush, but it was hard to see.

"What is up with me, is this going well for once?"

As Fuyuko waited to go, she kept her thoughts to herself.

Edric

As Edric looked at his map, he was relatively sure that he had found his classroom, 1-B. It took two of him to figure out which way the map actually was, but now he was ready with his stuff in hand. He legitimately wanted to see anyone from yesterday, just so he had somebody to talk to while he waited.

Dr. Victor Sterling? Sounds like the strict academic type. Ah nuts, I’m a bit of a loose screw, but guess I can goof off later.

As he adjusted his Siren pin, he thought back to yesterday, and all the people he’s met and seen. This school was truly something to behold, and hopefully he would have more time to bond with his fellow students.

“I’ve bonded too much with myself anyway.” He muttered, snickering at his own joke as the opened the door.

As Edric stumbled into the classroom, he just picked a seat in the middle that was free. A few people were there, but he decided to just chill, sitting in a cross legged position and browsing his phone. Edric hoped somebody would talk to him, to just pass the time.

Honestly I wish I could have snuck Snakespeare in here, he’s a conversation starter.

(Anybody who wants to interact with Edric, he’s quite lonely.)

“I believe it’ll be fine. Trust me, Everything will go according to plan today. Come, let’s got going so we’re not late.” Marcel motioned his head with a smile as he looked at Fuyuko. He knew he had feelings for her, but everything in his body told him, he must protect her at all costs. ‘If anyone lays a single hand on her in a threatening way. I swear, they won’t hear the end of it.’ Marcel thought to himself as he looked at her with a soft smile

Dean had actually gotten ready after everyone else. Braedyn had gotten ready a few seconds before he did and, as such, they got out of their dorms at roughly the same time.

"'Sup, bro?" Dean said.

"Nothin' much," Braedyn replied.

"As always," Dean said, slightly amused, "Apparently, we got homeroom at 8."

"Never heard of it outside a TV show," Braedyn laughed.

"Of course," Dean sighed, "See ya after class."

And then they went their separate ways. Of course, both of them sat as close as possible to the door. Dean walked into Class 1-C and sat down at the speed of sound. "Hi, guys," he said rather calmly. Braedyn in 1-D, however, melted the hinges, took the door out, walked in, put the door back in, tried and failed to un-melt the hinges and then sat down. "That was stupid, I know," he said, "I am generally dumber than this though." Believe it or not, he was telling the truth.

"...maybe I got up too early." Orion yawned. He would've valued the extra minutes of sleep Carter's alarm had deprived him of, but knowing himself as a very deep sleeper, perhaps Carter's presence at his dorm was a blessing in disguise. At least he'd never have to worry about oversleeping.

He checked his watch.

"08:15, huh? How about we pass the time with a few..." he whipped out a pencil seeming out of thin air. "...pencil-portal tricks!"

And with that, the magician began his work. He threw the pencil up in the air and began to juggle it using his portals. Finding that too easy, he added not one, not two, but three more items to his dazzling performance.

Alas, not even this was a suitable challenge for our resident illusionist, for his mind began to wander. He thought of home, his family, and what kind of subjects they were due to learn today.

It wasn't until he began thinking of Asuna, however, that his concentration began to diminish, opening up the next portal a smidgen too late...and in the wrong position.

While most of the airborne items simply collapsed back onto his desk, the original pencil that started it all sunk into the late portal entrance. In his daydreaming, the portal exit had now moved from his other hand to above the head of an intimidating, black haired girl sat northeast of him. He'd wanted to offer a kind greeting as she walked by earlier, though she gave off such a no-nonsense vibe that he just found himself whimpering like an injured puppy.

Now putting two and two together, Orion leapt off of his chair, reaching to catch the pencil before it found its next victim. He arrived behind the girl and grasped at the small portal, but he was a second too late. The pencil fell through his grasp and landed with a soft thud onto the girl's head before clinging and clanging onto the floor.

Time stopped. Orion sighed, knowing what may come next.

Though, above all, he was grateful. There were witnesses here, so at least his body would be found.

She was quite grateful for the direction, and bowed deeply (and slightly sarcastically) to the important looking man. "Thanks, dude! I totally won't forget it!" She yelled as she walked away "And remember to keep the PDA in your dorms!"

As she arrived at Mr. Sterling's class, she noticed a few people there. Her eyes scanned the room for someone alone,
And she found her target. Tromping over to the desk of a fairly okay looking guy, she slammed her hands on the wood and said
"Howdy! Lookin' glum today, huh? Well, well, well! Don'tcha worry! I'm pretty alone in this room too but not for looong~!" She smiled wide at him, and it would be slightly sinister if she didn't look so energetic. The smell of coffee wafted from her, inviting people to lose themselves in her boundless energy.
@Abra Kadabra Alakazam!

Isolde Barley
She arrived to her room without incident. She read the schedule. Dr. Stone? Maybe he wouldn't call on people often...maybe he'd do paperwork, mostly....or maybe he'd be the kind of teacher who'd try to 'cure' her introverted nature. Isolde shook like a leaf at the thought. Scanning the room with her eyes, she picked a desk in the back of the room, away from the prying eyes of her eventual peers. Isolde quivered with nervousness.

Edric

Suddenly, the entire table shook like somebody shoved a hammer into it, rattling everything on it. This made Edric accidentally drop his phone, and he made a desperate attempt to grab it back.

“Hey! Watch it! Money doesn’t grow on trees round here, I think.” He snapped quickly as he barely snagged his phone. He didn’t know who did it, but it was still a rude thing to do, scaring people like that.

When he looked up, the face of a bright blonde girl with equally bright blue eyes was smack dab in his sights like a solar eclipse. She was monologuing to him, but he was still thoroughly spooked and shocked at once.

“WOAH NELLY!” Edric yelped, shaking and almost falling off his chair. The air smelled like freshly roasted coffee, like what Jade made in the morning. He didn’t know why, but he felt more panicked and energetic than usual, almost as if God was lending him energy.

This is fine, this is fine. She probably just thought I wouldn’t panic this hard. I just need to calm down and gear up, if that’s even possible…

As Edric adjusted himself properly and caught what she was saying, he decided to be his own damage control. It’s something he had a lot of experience doing, considering several incidents when he was younger.

“No, I’m not glum. Just a bit lonely, that’s all. Sorry about that, seems I was more jumpy than usual. Anyways, what’s your name and why do you smell like a barista at a overworked cafe? It just reminds me of home.”

@Blotch'd (Pamela Oswald)

Pamela
Pamela recoiled sharply
"Woah, woah! My bad! People in Texas never get this jumpy. You should probably get out more," she said, though not meanly. Just in a Pamela sort of way.
She looked at him more carefully. His tan skin, his green eyes, and his white hair.
...So maybe he wasn't that plain. He had nothing on some of the other people here, but damn, this dude was striking.
She smiled sweetly at him, meeting his eyes as he obviously tried to cope with his sudden burst of energy.
"Your eyes are cool. The nice color of a ripe avocado!" She grabbed and twisted a chair, plopping into it in front of him in one graceful movement.
"I am Pamela Oswald! The smell is a by-product from my main power, Caffeinated. I produce a non addictive caffeine from my pores and pump it into the air, but, contrary to popular belief, that actually doesn't have a smell. The smell is from the Caffeol that my body creates as a by-product. I heat it and make it into a perfume. Helps my theme, yeah?" Pamela laughed, lightly slapping the desk.
"Glad it makes you feel at home! We all need it on the first day of classes, huh? We, the lost stars, were thrown into the endless enigma from our constellations and called to make new shapes in the void...Oh! I should remember to write that down later..."

"So, while we're on the topic, what's YOUR name and power?"

Melanie Redtail

Melanie had been walking towards her homeroom when coffee hit her, figuratively. By the time she could try to figure out what hit her, it was gone. She then walked to her homeroom, and opened the door, only for the door to fall to the floor. Melanie was spooked the loud sound of the door hitting the floor, and all of a sudden, a World War II Era Finnish Uniform formed as a Spectral outfit. She then took the furthest seat away from the door after attempting to put the door back, but was struggling. Strength was not her best attribute.

"I-I o-opened the door f-for it t-to fall in f-front of me!"

Reggie Ironfist

Reggie had seen the girl go towards her homeroom, and told his girlfriend something in a whisper.

"Head to our homeroom and let our teacher know as Head of House Siren, I'm helping the Freshmen get where they're going."

His girlfriend gave him a kiss on the cheek and headed towards their homeroom. He then remained on the lookout for any more lost Freshmen.

Asuna Ryugetsu

As Asuna walked to 1-C, she was in a lot of thought. When she arrived, thanks to the map, she sat down in the exact center of the room. She started steaming to relax before the day started. As the fog popped up in class 1-C, it was a light fog, enough for Asuna to relax and clear her head.

"I wonder how Orion is doing?" Asuna had a small blush on her face, "I hope he slept well last night."

Asuna waited for more of her classmates to arrive at the room as she prepared her stuff.

Marcel would arrive shortly there after, he looked at Fuyuko before smiling. “Alright. I’ll be seeing you in a little while, Ok.” Marcel smiled as he left a small rose with Fuyuko and walked towards his class, before noting Samael standing around, “Samael, come here.”

Samael would walk over and Marcel would whisper in his ear, “I leave just a simple request. Watch over Fuyuko. If anything should happen to her, I want you to immediately act on my behalf. You are by far my greatest asset.” Marcel patted his shoulder before walking into his home room.

Samael was surprised, he was Marcel’s greatest asset? What did that even mean? None the less, he walked into his home room, room 1-C and found a seat near the back. As Marcel entered Room 1-D, noting the destruction that has already happened. “I just got here.” Marcel spoke under his breath before seeing, to his surprise, Melanie. He decided to take his seat behind her.

Edric

“Uhhhhh… thanks…” Edric twinged a little at Pamela's compliment. He had no idea whether it was the caffeine or his nerves, but every part of his body was really feeling that energy now.

Reminds me of the time I downed an entire bag of gummy worms. Oh I don’t wanna remember the aftermath of that…

Pamela’s powers definitely piqued his interest, especially the caffeine part. It was probably why he had this sudden spike in energy, which was the reason behind his jumpiness and why he felt like punching a wall.

Aside from that, she biologically makes her own perfume, being that of a coffee house. Wouldn’t have been his first choice, but Edric wondered if she could smell like a pumpkin spice latte.

“Oh, me? Heh. I kinda forgot about that. Hey, I’m Edric Fletcher. As for my power, I’ll have a live demonstration.”

He stood up oddly fast, enough to make him almost fall back down. But he quickly stepped properly, steadying himself.

“Welp, here goes nothing…”

Edric then promptly grabbed his head with both hands, and pulled it like someone would tear paper. He stretched apart before splitting into two Edrics. They were completely identical, even down to the clothes.

“Ta da! That’s his, or our power, Clone! It allows us to split ourselves into independent clones which can be used for a variety—“ One of the clones said in a slightly rapid and cheery pace.

“Look I don’t think she wants to hear the mumbo jumbo, it’s a simple power and it’s in the name.” The other clone interrupted, being a bit jumpy and wanting to shake off the caffeine.

Braedyn immediately burst into uncontrollable laughter as the door fell over. "Sorry," he said, still laughing, "Just a bad habit." Then he laughed even louder when he heard someone say they just got here. "Sorry, but I... I might've gotten a bit carried away with the door..." he just barely said.
(@Cmeriwether @MarcelGalliard790)

Meanwhile, Dean was... calm, to say the least. Not too many people, but at least some people to talk to. Then he heard Braedyn laughing. He sighed, laughing a little bit. Braedyn obviously did something stupid, but at least it was somewhat funny. Dean sighed, amused. Classic Braedyn, he thought.

"Anyone else hear my friend in Class 1-D laughing like a maniac?" he asked.

Samael rolled his eye as he looked to the side. “Yeah sure. Your friend unwittingly doing something involving his powers.” Samael spoke coldly, he was a very serious and cynical person. “Now enough dawdling. With someone else’s shenanigans.” Samael spoke before he adjusted his eyepatch and the scythes on his back, his typical obsidian scythes. He would expose the secrets underneath the shell eventually during his time here.

Marcel rolled his eyes at Braedyn’s comment. “With great power comes great responsibility.” At that moment, Marcel used some of his Brimsoul energy and held it in a sphere in his hand, controlling it well. Before closing it in his hands and eventually making a web of that energy in his hands, weaving eloquently like a spider whom made it’s web. “Anyways. How has the day been going for you, Melanie?”

Dean
Dean wasn't exactly the most idealistic person, but he wasn't a cynic at all. "No, he knows what he's doing," he said, "He's just... a little crazy, that's all." He could still hear Braedyn's laugh in his head. He started laughing a little bit as well. "Sorry, I just- I can't resist," he said, barely containing his laugh by holding his breath.

And then he heard Braedyn's loud (loud as in Dean could hear it clearly, even though his hearing was below average) voice saying one of his friends (meaning Dean) had a crush on Melanie. Dean chuckled, blushing a little bit.

"Which one?" Dean replied even louder.
(@MarcelGalliard790 )

Braedyn
As soon as he heard Marcel's comment about responsibility, Braedyn scoffed. "Yeah, r-"

And then Marcel started talking to who Braedyn knew as Dean's crush. Braedyn didn't know what his next words would be.

"Oh, I forgot to say, my friend has a crush on Melanie," Braedyn said LOUDLY.

At that moment, Dean replied with "which one?" Braedyn slumped his head on his desk.

'He's got me there,' Braedyn thought.

Melanie saw the door get suddenly lifted and replaced by some strange Magic and the door was back to normal, but had spiderweb like holds on the hinges.

"Thanks, Marcel, I'm Good today, other than the door falling off immediately as I opened it."

Melanie Blushed immensely as she heard that someone had a crush on her, and slinked back into their chair. She was quite shocked that was straight up Yelled out for the whole School to hear.

It was so loud that Samira Abdul heard it from where she was, helping freshmen with them getting lost. Samira smirked, and then noted to use her Powers on this friend of the guy yelling and a girl named Melanie.

Fuyuko Redtail/Asuna Ryugetsu

Fuyuko had entered the Homeroom with Samael after Marcel handed her a Rose.

"Thank you, Marcel," Fuyuko whispered, with a tinge on her face, not that could be easily Seen.

Where was he getting these Roses from was amongst Fuyuko's Thoughts. Well, that was until yelling was sounded, Fuyuko's level of alarm went from Zero to Oh crap. Her level of Alarm went back down when what turned out to be the the guy who launched someone into the ceiling was yelling in the direction of a friend of his, then the friend yelled about a friend of his having a crush on her half sister.

"Someone has a crush on Melanie?" Fuyuko blurted out loud, "This is the exact opposite of what was the norm at our middle school. She's going to be a Blushing mess when she finds out."

Asuna Ryugetsu was sitting, preparing notes when the room fogged up a bit unexpectedly.

"What's going on!?" Fuyuko called out.

"Oops," Asuna called out genuinely, as that was a complete accident, "I have Steam Engine, I must have flinched when the intense yelling came across the room."

Kim had tried to keep focus on her own matters, there were a couple in the class with her but she had never been great at striking up conversation. Mr. Stevens had always been quick to mention when she became laser focused even on the day to day activities she had this sort of intensity about her that probably put a "distance" between herself and her peers which she had found absurd.

I mean come one, she couldn't have been that scary to others....r-right?

Kim's thoughts had been interrupted in quite the unexpected fashion; as something seemed to land on her head which caused her to look with a bit of confusion as a pencil seemed to stumble ahead of her as one of those aforementioned classmates seemed to look upon petrified while Kim's expression seemed to freeze.

Her eyebrow twitched a bit as her lips curled to a sort of glare, the possibility of her boiling over as her eyes locked with his seemed to grow but, she seemed to close them as she began to breath. A sort of self-control exercise she had adopted in moments like this as she took out a napkin she had and wiped the bit of pencil led from the top of her head before she worked to address her classmate.

"It should, go without saying. But if one is to use their abilities in such mundane means, they best be able to control what they do during it." Kim said, a sort of lecture towards Orion as her eyes opened and she seemed to look him over.

"I suppose more so than an apology, the question of why a pencil dropped on my head needs to be answered here." Kim said as she seemed to look for some answers. But while she intended to come off as calm and controlled, her tone seemed to carry a sort of undercut of near malice behind it. Perhaps Mr. Stevens had been more accurate than she'd like to admit...

After some time was spent on a good amount of waiting, it seems the one person he was looking forward to seeing again just wasn't showing up. This got the large student sigh as he had turned his back and walked into the school. Oh well, nothing to be done about it. He couldn't stand around forever around there, anyway. He had classes to tend to, after all.

When it was about time for him to enter 1-C, his two fingers clamped carefully around the door knob and opened it, before he proceeded to climb through the frame itself, trying not to break the door off its hinges with his size. Given that everyone seemed to be talking amongst one another, he tried his very best to sneak himself into one of the empty seats in the back, just so that he wouldn't end up blocking someone else's view. Of course, the actual matter of getting there.. well, someone his size would make any kind of stealth hard to achieve.

Carter
The athlete ran a few times around the building's interiors, trying to locate just where his class should be. And when he did finally find it.. he immediately turned tail and sprinted out of the building. Not because he had cold feet or didn't want to enter, but.. well, going through the front door seems kind of.. boring, does it not?

And so, like a certain spider-powered person, he just ran around the side of the building and begun using his climbing techniques to scale the school itself and peeked into the opened window of his classroom at everyone else inside. Good, a whole bunch of people were already gathered here! This was going to be great!

" Hope nobody minds if I'll be letting myself in! If you do, don't care because I'm doing it anyway! "

And with those words, Whitaker proceeded to climb into the 1-D classroom from the outside, before promptly, in the most literal sense possible, leaping into the closest window seat available to him. See, now there was an entrance that would be worthy of making a name for himself in the first lesson ever of this new chapter in his life! And it only slightly slowed him down, too!

With the night soon passing, Jasper slowly woke up. The time was now around 8:00 AM. Jasper looked around, seeing most of his dormmates had already left the dorm. Spotting the door, a uniform hanged with his name on it, which was clearly the school's uniform. Going inside the bathroom, Jasper would clean himself up, and get ready for school. He checked his phone for the schedule.

8:30 - 9:00AM, Homeroom.

Jasper's eyes grew wide in shock, wearing his uniform and signature hoodie, as he would try to get to Homeroom before he got late. He was in class 1-D, with Dr. Liam Stone. Jasper came to a stop to try and get a hold of his surroundings, checking the map of the school just to be sure that he would be going the right way. He entered the classroom through the door and sat down near the middle of the classroom. Jasper looked around, checking if he knew anyone in the classroom, although there were none. It didn't matter, in fact, it was better that way so that he'd be able to find out more about other people than the ones he'd already know of. Now it was just time to wait for class to start.

Pamela clapped her hands in amazement, the sound filling the silent space as she jumped from her seat.
"Woah! I have SO many questions right now!"
"How long can you maintain it?"
"How many can you make at one time?"
"If one clone eats something do the others feel it?"
"Can my Grandma study you?"
Pamela wanted to know all she could about this power. He could potentially be a dangerous rival, but she was also genuinely curious.

Also the part about her Grandma. She studied powers for fun and profit, and Pamela was sure she'd enjoy meeting with Edric.

Gwen

Late on the first day - surely the best way to induce anxiety. She strolled into 1-A, her heart skipping a beat as she noticed the teacher hadn't even arrived. Gwen walked slowly, surveying the room of students. Not a lot of familiar faces - as if she bothered socializing much the day before.

Oh wait, there's Orion! Who... looked like he was ready to dig his own grave, in contrast to what she saw yesterday. Poor guy looked worse than when he was choking. Gwen walked towards the right wall and coming across the desk nearest to the teacher's desk, its owner exuding an air of authority. She wasn't even the one being glared at but she could still sense the strict, almost uneasy aura. She sat adjacent to the two next to the window and despite only witnessing the aftermath of Orion's actions, it wouldn't stop Gwen from doing what she did best.

Butt into other people's business.

"My most profound apologies, dear comrade." She put up a pleading face. "My good friend Orion here merely has some 'first day jitters', if you will, I'm positive you're capable of discerning."

Gwen continued, not putting much thought into her speech. "He's quite the airhead, and had found solace and bemusement in the simplistic nature of playing with his pencil. And in his reverie, it appears he's created quite the dilemma," There was no sarcasm in sight, because the situation didn't call for it - this was very serious. "We're all here united for the same notion, no? To ameliorate the control over our powers - and all this was just a simple mistake made by a simple mind. All I ask of you is for your benevolence and clemency, as it appears your gaze alone has caused hapless Orion great disquiet. Rest assured, this quandary would never reiterate, would it, Orion?"

She knew looking up random words in thesauruses would end up handy. As to why she spoke up? If asked that question, Gwen would simply shrug her shoulders. Boredom perhaps, as prior to her entry, the classroom hadn't many students inside, much less any she recognize. It'd probably come back to bite her later, but that's future Gwen's problem. After hopefully alleviating the pencil problem with as many big words as she could think of at the time, her eyes shifted towards Orion with an encouraging smile.

Josh

Showing up late - an integral part of Josh's routine for nearly everything. For once it wasn't waking up late, but marveling over a color changing uniform and pressing a pin probably over a hundred times took up a lot of his time, strangely. Josh wasn't even sure how he was so entertained watching it go from blue to green for so long, but hey, free serotonin boost. He wasn't complaining.

Though he soon would be if it were the reason for his tardiness. The amount of students wandering about started to dwindle, his wings returning to a faded blue by the lack of conversation and absence of anxiety-filled murmurs, as Josh approached his homeroom.

The door slowly crept open, to see if the teacher had arrived. As soon as Josh confirmed they hadn't, the door flung open. It wasn't too loud in there, besides some shouting a classroom over. The room was starting to fog up near the middle, but whatever. Josh simply used sound waves to disperse the fog persisting next to the door and front of the classroom, noticing the nearest seat wasn't even taken!

Granted, he now couldn't enthusiastically wave to incoming students next to the door as most of them were already inside but Josh was glad it wasn't taken regardless. A seat without purpose was still a seat. The teacher still wasn't there, so he slightly turned his chair towards the middle of the room, simply taking in his classmates' faces, excited for the day ahead.

Edric

If Pamela was good at something, it was overwhelming and surprising him. Even with two Edrics hopped up on caffeine, she still found ways to be unexpected. He couldn’t see why he shouldn’t answer any questions.

“I’m pretty sure indefinitely, the longest I’ve left a clone was a week, I think?”

“Yeah, you left one at home while the rest of us went of vacation.” The other clone continued as he sat back down, jittering from the energy.

“Yeah, that was a doozy. I don’t know my upper limit of clone production because I don’t really need a large number, I’d guess around thirty.” The standing clone said as he cracked his knuckles, something he did when he was bored.

“I think neurons between us are unconnected, as I honestly can never tell when one of us is eating.”

“Yeah, sometimes I’d go downstairs to see one of my clones having a midnight snack.”

The fact that Pamela wanted her grandma wanted to study him was a bit creepy, but who was he to judge? Not he like knew the whole story.

“I’m good, thanks. I don’t wanna be a lab rat yet.” The standing clone politely declined as he leaned against the nearby wall, still jittering.

“Honestly in our state, which might be borderline hyper, we might not be so good to study right now.” The sitting clone responded, also under the caffeination Pamela was producing. Both of them spoke much faster than normal, and hopefully he could get himself a drink of water or something to counter the effects.

Samael cleared his throat sternly, after Dean and Braedyn had their exchange. Samael would then look at Fuyuko. “Fuyuko. Come, join me.” Samael looked at her and asked her to join him. He would keep Marcel’s words in mind and keeping an eye on her. He would also keep in mind about how Marcel called him his greatest asset. “Figured we should at least sit next to each other.” Samael spoke and smiled softly at Fuyuko.

Marcel was surprised by the sudden words from Braedyn. “Huh. Anyways.” Marcel turned to Melanie and smiled. “Well at least you’re having a good day so far.” Marcel would then note some other new faces walking in. He was mostly worried on how Fuyuko would be. ‘I hope she’s okay…but I believe Samael will be able to watch over her.’ Marcel thought to himself as he looked to Melanie and then back up to the front of the room.

Could this have gone any worse?

While he'd hoped the stern-looking girl wouldn't make a scene out of the whole thing, which she didn't really, what did transpire was arguably worse- Orion was being reproached about his lack of power control, and it hit much closer to home than he anticipated.

Likely because he knew it was true. Even if he was thinking of Asuna- what if people were relying on him to get them out of somewhere quickly and safely? Would he tell everyone that he was 'thinking of his crush', and that's why couldn't get his act together in time?

He tried to stammer out some sort of apology, but all that came out were listless umms and aahhs. It felt like the world had frozen still- that it was just the two of them interlocked in some sort of competition that Orion was clearly outmatched in.

For the first time in the whole 24 hours Orion had known Carter, he wished the sportster were here- for some reason, Orion always felt more confident in his presence.

That is, until salvation came in the form of a familiar voice.

Gwen's lovely lock of wavy, navy blue hair had never looked so shiny.

At her mention of 'First day jitters', Orion nodded his head as vigorously as a child being asked if they wanted to order pizza! In that moment, he couldn't describe the feelings of gratitude he felt for Gwen's existence- he felt the brief urge to give her the biggest hug!

But then she kept talking.

...wait, 'airhead'? 'Simple mind?' The heck is a 'clemency', some kind of fruit?

These thoughts and more began to circle through Orion's conflicted mind, as Gwen effortlessly reeled off vocabulary that would make an English Aristocrat feel under-educated.

She then offered him a warm, encouraging smile, to which he replied with a cheeky, knowing look in his eyes. It seemed to him that she was having some fun with this. He couldn't blame her, and a small smirk of his own began to spread across his face. It looked like he'd have to play his assigned role if he wanted to resolve this conflict swiftly.

"Wha- What she said!" he suddenly exclaimed, gesturing toward his squeaky-clean partner in crime. Though the next part would take a lot more strength to admit than he thought. He pulled through regardless. "I, uh... really have trouble controlling my powers! I'm a complete menace to society! I mean, just take a look at this!"

With that, he held his hands up in a shrug-like gesture before a portal opened up above him, sending his belongings (which had been laid peacefully on his desk) barreling down from the portal and straight onto his own noggin before scattering across the floor.

"Owww!" he exclaimed, doubling over. This part wasn't faked; that had hurt a lot more than he thought it would. Cursing under his breath, he wondered if Carter had secretly snuck some weights into his backpack, before he returned to his audience, rubbing his head. "See? I'm just hopeless."

He took a quick glance at his watch. The rather conservative digital display of the device read 08:22. Even if this did get resolved now, Orion didn't want the next 8 minutes- and the rest of the school year- to be awkward between the girl and himself. This whole thing was his fault, after all.

And then he had an idea. He wasn't sure where it came from, or if it was even a good idea to begin with, but before his mind had any time to interrogate it, his body was already in motion.

"Like my friend here said, I'm at this school to learn how to better control these weird vortex things I can poof into existence." He picked up his weighty backpack off of the floor, and dropped it onto the desk adjacent to the girl's, middle of the first row. "In fact, you seem like you'd be a good example to learn from! There's something... dignified about you."

He was mimicking the way Gwen talked previously, shooting her a playful smile.

Two can play at that game, bestie. He thought to himself, before deciding to take it one step further.

"So with that in mind, I'd like to sit right next to you! And my friend here will sit over here, " he decided, gesturing to the desk left of his. "That way, I can truly learn to be an upstanding model of power control!"

He stuck out his hand eagerly, really hoping that this would work.

"As previously mentioned, my name's Orion! Like the constellation. Pleased to make your acquaintance, mi'lady."

...how do you even spell that word? Ah-kwayn-tanse. A-Q... maybe a C somewhere too? Then a - I'm getting distracted.
