Dawn waved goodbye to Casys, then curled up on the sand and started breathing quietly to fool any approaching pokemon, then went to sleep.
Ember shook her head to clear it, then observed the surroundings. A Glaceon was nearby. She didn't see the trainers from earlier, but there were quite a few trees in the area - they could be hidden behind them.
Casys woke up from his slumber in the Pinap grove feeling not only rested, but...stronger. However, for the life of him he couldn't remember how to use First Impression. Did I level up? He thought to himself. He reached up and plucked two Pinap berries off a tree, then stuck a claw in each of them to drain the juices into his mouth. Feeling energized after his meal, Casys decided to go to his training grounds and see if he learned any new moves.

C.C yawned as she sluggishly finished putting away camp, rubbing her eyes which still drooped. She wasn't a very good sleeper, but even with her ice types she just couldn't adjust to the warmth of Kalos. Maybe they should head closer to Anistar City, where it actually snowed.
Most of her team were back in their Pokeballs, mostly because they walked up to C.C when she told them to get into them. Minus Flayke, of course, she never put Flayke in his ball. He also threw a hissy fit when he couldn't constantly monitor his trainer. But only one other Pokemon wasn't inside their painted ball, and her name was Fross.
Don't get C.C wrong, despite being the lowest level, Fross was quite possibly her strongest member. She was just stubborn, extremely vain, and it seemed as though Fross believe C.C had wronged her in every way. C.C couldn't for the life of her figure out just what it was the Amuara wanted from her.
Speaking of Fross, the Amuara was currently back near the river, gazing at her reflection and polishing the ice crystals that covered her, as well as grooming her sails. C.C wasn't too concerned with what Fross was doing, despite her nature, she knew Fross would come back, despite getting the feeling the fossil pokemon was probably telling her she was doing it hesitantly.

Crack! Another rock shot down by Casys' new move: Dark Pulse. The Golisopod had figured out that by focusing his energy in the center of his chest using his four smaller arms, a beam of blackish-purple energy shot forward. He was working on the accuracy of the move currently. He threw rocks into the air and shot them down using Dark Pulse. When he could hit every rock that he threw, Casys decided to work on the move's power.
Focusing the energy to create the Pulse, Casys aimed at one of the oak trees nearby and shot the beam at it. It broke through the bark but the wood underneath was barely touched. This might take a while, he thought. Once again focusing the energy, Casys shot the Pulse at the same tree, tearing through it about half way before the beam sputtered out. He would have to work on his stamina, too, apparently. Digging his feet into the sand of the river bank, Casys charged up his Dark Pulse and fired it at the oak tree, this time putting all his energy into the blast.
BOOM! The oak tree was completely obliterated, and the tree behind it was cut into but not broken. Casys staggered backwards into the river, kneeling down to try and regain his strength, as the move had drained him of most of his energy.

The zoroark sighed and sat back, leaning on a tree to support herself while her head spun from getting up too quickly. Once the blackness cleared from her vision, she took the form of a Weavile and slunk over to the bank of the river. Her sharp gold eyes scanned the surroundings before she sat quietly and closed her eyes, enjoying the temporary quiet - which didn't last long. Her ears flicked up to listen to shallow booms echoing along the river.
Dawn woke up and looked around, hearing booming sounds in the distance. Creeping away from the noise, she hid back in the bushes, running upstream to see what the trainers were doing.
Casys charged up a final Dark Pulse and destroyed two trees with one blast. The attack drained the Golisopod of his energy, and he fell back into the sand, panting. He could feel his small eyelids drooping. With a final effort, Casys rolled into the river so he wouldn't be seen by any trainers if they happened upon the training ground. Activating his gills, Casys sank to the bottom of the crystal blue river and drifted off to sleep.
Shw stretched her ears up, eyes keenly flitting over the surface of the water. What was that? Her eyes narrowed in suspicion, and she dove into the river - transforming into a Buizel right before she plunged beneath the surface.
"Huh. Nothing yet." Dawn whispered to herself, before going to find food. Finding a promising tree, she used her attack to bring down a few. I wonder what they are doing. Dawn wondered about the other pokemon around here, and heard another loud noise. Shaking her head, she dismissed it and began eating.
Casys awoke at the bottom of the river feeling some what rested. With a groan, he swam up to the bank of the river and took a breath of air. Air was always easier for him to breath even though he was part water type. Resting for a moment and gazing out into the river, Casys saw a disturbance in the water. In no shape to battle, Casys dropped back into the water and began zooming to his grove so that he could eat a couple Pinap berries and regain his strength.
