Jamie paced angrily in the small cell. Her mouth still felt a bit sore from where they had taken a rather aggressive cheek swab that had nearly made her gag. Then again, maybe a bit of it was her fault for ignoring the orders of the scientist, like "sit still" and "don't bite the swab".

No, there was no way she was going to take any responsibility for this. Sure, she'd agreed to this weird "clinical trial" without all the information, but then they couldn't just abduct her and force her into this crazy experiment. What was it that scientist had said?

"You'll be part of an genetic engineering experiment..." he had rattled off some well rehearsed speech with a number of very technical terms that she had no idea what they meant. "Basically, we are engineering pokemon-human hybrids that we believe will be more powerful than any regular pokemon. Of course, since you will be among our first subjects, none of this procedure has been perfected, and we aren't quite sure how these genes will manifest themselves-"

"So I come out as some dweeby pokemon person," Jamie had cut him off. "And I get cool powers, but you don't know how it happens? So will it hurt or what?"

"It may. We won't be able to put you to sleep for the process though, since there's no guarantee how long it will last."

"That was not part of the agreement. You can count me out," she had then attempted to stand from her chair, but she had been forced back down by the strong hands of a Machoke on her shoulders.

"I thought it was obvious by now, but you no longer have a choice. I'll need a sample of cells from your cheek now, so hold still..."

In the present, Jamie kicker her foot hard against the wall. It felt incredibly solid, but she knew it had to be a trick. There was no door that she could see, but yet she'd gotten in here some how. Unfortunately they had blind folded here when she moved around the building, and disoriented her as she was thrown into the cell.

"I know you can here me out there!" she shouted at the ceiling. "Let me out already! This is completely illegal! When the police find out about all thi- eep!" Her words cut off to a yelp as a light flew out of one of the walls, blinding her momentarily and making the world spin unnaturally. Something had just used Confuse Ray, and she knew what followed that. A blur of a person entered the room as she staggered, making her high-heeled shoes clack unevenly against the tile floor. They covered her eyes with some kind of blind fold, and pulled her hands behind her back.

An awkward walk down the hall began, as Jamie struggled to walk straight but a strong hand held her cuffed wrists and tugged them around to lead her in the proper direction. "Fuck off..." she grumbled in her stupor at a particularly sharp pull.

As the confusion wore off, she felt herself placed in a chair, just like the one she had sat in for the cheek swab. This time, though, they didn't bother to remove her blindfold, instead she felt them strap her feet in with some kind of belts, and her arms remained cuffed behind the back of the chair.

"Let me go already you assholes!" she demanded, struggling unsuccessfully against her bonds and even attempting to rock the chair over. However, the same strong hands, likely those of the Machoke, held her shoulders firmly in place, back against the chair which she could not make so much as slide. There was a sharp prick just below her collar bone on the left side of her chest, and the odd pressure associated with a shot. This made her grunt, scream, and struggle even harder, although it got her no further against the incredibly strong pokemon. "STOP IT! LET ME GO!"

"It's done. You may want to..." the scientist from before spoke to whoever had brought her to him.

"Of course. Musharna," the deeper voice commanded. Suddenly the blindfold was removed from her head, and she was met with the sight of a strange pink and purple pokemon. "Hypnosis." Jamie didn't have time to react before the pokemon's odd smoke began to move in a strange entrancing motion, quickly putting her into a strange, dreamless sleep...

A gentle, cool breeze woke Jamie from her sleep, although she refused to open her eyes for a few minutes, instead draping her arm over them to block out the harsh light. Something about the breeze felt strange though, like it was stale, coming from a fan, although it had the irregularity of a natural wind. Finally she grumbled and sat up, blinking awake and rubbing a sore spot around her collar bone. For a moment, she had no idea where she was, simply looking down to straighten out her floral, layered tank top and brush some grass from her little denim shorts. Raking her long, dainty fingers back through her wavy blonde hair, she tried to recall why she was sleeping outside in her clothes. Had she partied to hard last night? No, it had been a while since she had gone drinking with friends... did another trainer knock out her and Persian?

As she looked around, her pokemon was no where in sight. As she stood up on shaky legs, she had barely straightened up when the memories of being kidnapped came back, like she was remembering a bad dream. Suddenly she was wide awake, looking around herself.

She was in a small field of grass, bordered by a lake that was barely larger than a pond to her left and a thin forest to her right. Past the lake was a far less natural sight: a steel wall that stretched as far as she could see left and right. Following it up, it curved inward like a large dome, with large fans and other strange, covered openings about half way up. Around the top were blindingly bright lights illuminating the whole compound. From the looks of it, the whole dome had to be at least three or even four football field lengths across.

Taking it all in, she absently rubbed the injection site, which had gone numb to her touch, though she could feel her heart throbbing through it. Her pulse picked up as she felt herself begin to inexplicably panic. Well, she supposed it was fairly natural to panic in her situation, but she couldn't really pick out one particular reason that had set her off. The realization that she was probably about to undergo some crazy transformation, the feeling of being so small and alone in far too large of an area, or even the feeling of being a caged animal. Her legs began to shake and her breathing quickened to short, shaking breaths. She hugged her arms close to her body, shivering as her bright blue eyes searched for any other sign of life.

"Hello?!" she called loudly, hoping someone would hear her, although her voice cutting through the near silence only seemed to worsen her anxiety. It felt as if the roof above her could cave in at any second, collapsing on her head, or as though the waters from the lake were going to reach out and pull her under. Already she felt as if she was drowning.

Her only option for security was the trees off to her right. She began to walk towards them with a brisk pace, stumbling in her heals and trying to make sense of the spinning world. The short walk felt as if it took an eternity, and by the time she reached the tree she was gasping for air as if she had run a marathon. She held on tightly to the trunk for balance, feeling just a little more secure in the tree line. Gradually she managed to steady her breathing, keeping her eyes tightly closed and focusing on each individual breath. After a minute, she was calm enough to release her grip on the trunk and instead lean against it instead. Feeling her sore ankles from rolling them around in her heels, she simply reached down and removed her shoes entirely. Normally, she wouldn't dare walk around in the dirt without shoes, but this was no time to be worried about some grimy feet. She had to find a way out of here, and manage to talk that scientist into reversing whatever he had done. And by talk, she meant threaten by any means necessary.

There was no way she was walking back into the clearing without someone else there, though. This seemed like an oddly large compound for just one person, so she had to hope that there might be others here with her. Didn't that guy say she was "one of the first" anyway? It was a little flicker of hope at least.

"Hey! Is anyone out there?!" she tried once more to call out to anyone who might also be in the compound, using the loudest voice she could muster without fear of it cracking from the last bit of anxiety that still plagued the back of her mind.

Nova wasn't too sure what happened. He was placed in a chair and held down by some pokèmon. He managed to slap a person and run laps around the room. But soon after, they knocked him out and did the whole process with him unconscious.

Nova was curled up in a ball in a grassy area, completely oblivious as to what happened to him. Slowly waking up from his trance, Nova cursed under his breath at the pounding headache he got, also oblivious to the fact that there was a bruise covering his left eye. "What the- Ohhh yeah, those weirdos wanted to inject me with some shit that I still don't understand" He muttered.

Cries from someone could be heard, making Nova suddenly had a force to check who was crying for help, forcing him to his feet. Nova wobbled to the direction of the voice, slowly regaining his balance and walking straight. "Hello....?" Nova questioned, slowly coming into view of the girl.

Jamie jumped slightly when she saw a boy approaching her. Her first thought was that he couldn't be a scientist. Her second was that at least if she was trapped here with him, he wasn't too bad looking. "Oh thank Arceus, someone else is here..." she sighed, relieved and already feeling quite a bit better now that she was no longer being the only living thing here. Carefully, she pushed away from the tree a bit, steadying her shaking legs. It was probably for the best she had removed her shoes already, trying to stand with her knees this weak in heels would have resulted in a terrible first impression involving her ending up face first in the dirt. Getting closer, she stopped to brush off her shirt a bit again before looking at him with the biggest, most innocent eyes she could muster, even tearing up a bit, although to be fair, it didn't take much effort with everything that had happened so far.

"They kidnapped you too, didn't they?" she asked, once more looking around at the compound. They were fairly close to one wall, although it was across the lake, however there was no sign of an entrance there. Then again, they'd used trick room in her cell before. Could that move really cover a place of this size, though? She looked back at the other soul here with her. "Did they give you the shot too?" Once again, Jamie began to absently rub the injection site. It wasn't swollen, just oddly numb and pale, and the numbness seemed to only be growing.

Ava awoke, next to the steel wall, Looking at it she jumped, but then saw it was only a wall. She rubbed her neck, a spot was numb Maybe where they sedated me... what happend.. yesterday, last night? What time was it anyway...
She looked over to see two people talking. Did they come here for the money too? She tried to stand up, but her legs refused. So she sat a while... She fell back to sleep, weak from whatever they admistered in her system.

Ava woke up again, in the same spot atleast, "I didnt sleep at all." she thought to herself, Seeing the other two still having a coversation, she decided to talk to them since she could walk a bit now.

"Hi, you two get kidnapped aswell?"

"Yeah, but they knocked me out because I was too troublesome to keep awake" Nova replied, eyes closing as he gently placed his fingers on his injection spot, wincing slightly. Another girl(?) came over, making the golden haired teen nod. "Yep" He replied shortly.

Troy couldn't believe his rotten luck, homeless, and now kidnapped, he was fooled into coming here in return of cash he so desperately needed, only to be experimented on like a lab rat.

after hours of sleep Troy finally woke up, he looked around, it seemed someone attempted to recreate nature indoors, he heard 3 other voices and turned his head to see 2 girls and a boy, he got up from his lying spot and walked over, his head throbbing in pain and his thoughts completely fuzzy, "hello? other victims of whatever the hell this is i presume?"

Jamie looked over at two others approaching them, kind of surprised to see yet more people. Then again, it made sense, this compound was too big for even four people. If they were all waking up around this same area though, it was likely the entrance was nearby... she doubted these guys really cared to deposit them that far from the door...

"Y-yeah," she tripped over the word, her mind racing as she tried to put together some kind of plan. She was distracted by a sudden, overwhelming sense of nausea. Gritting her teeth and clutching her stomach, she held it down the best she could and stumbled a few quick steps from the small group, bracing herself against a tree with one arm as her stomach violently emptied its contents. Her free hand held her hair back out of the way, although she encountered the problem of trying to keep her feet out of the way as well.

It took a minute or so before she was able to straighten up again, her stomach now completely empty and leaving a terrible taste in her mouth. She used her arm to wipe away sweat from her face, then ran her fingers back through her messy hair, raking her scalp. Her skin felt clammy and cold, and her carefully tanned skin was looking rather pale. She began to shiver a bit, although the air was actually pleasantly warm.

"Ugh, bad first impressions..." she muttered. It was never a good party when you met a cute guy while shit faced, and while this wasn't a party, she was still stuck with these people until they could get out and reverse what these scientists had done. What... they'd done.... Jamie began to shiver more, suddenly realizing that this was likely the beginning of her turning into whatever crazy monster they were trying to turn her into.

"Jeez, they could at least make it warmer in here," she grumbled to the others, hugging herself with her fingers under her arms.

((OOC: To clarify, the numbing of Jamie's injection site and her feeling sick and cold is part of her process, it's not necessary for everyone unless you want it to go that way. ;3 ))

Ava tried to fix her hair so it wouldnt hang in front of her face. After moving it, she was mystified at the strand of red hair that laid in her hand. Her hair wasnt this color the last time she checked...

Nova worriedly looked over at the girl who went to a tree to throw up. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, then whimpered when there was a throbbing pain in his gums. "Ow!" Nova cried, leaping back and covering his mouth with both hands.
