What Did You Do To Snoke?

This is an idea I came up with recently set in Unova. The story:
In this Roleplay, you will control an Unovan elite trainer participating in a tournament in which the winner will become the new Champion. You will face well known trainers, as well as trainers who have never been heard of.
Rules:
1. Follow all Pokecharms rules
2. Your character can only have Pokemon from the Unova pokedex (from BW2 so some Pokemon from other regions may be allowed however)
3. No over the top characters
4. I plan on rping as the canon characters so if you do want to RP as one of them, ask me.
5. For now, only one character is allowed.

This RP takes place between 10-30 years after the events of Pokemon Black and White 2 (I cannot deciede specifically when it will be).The champion, Iris, is drawing near to old age and is at the end of her life not just because she is old but because she has developed a terrible disease which is anticipated by some to be able to kill her. A group of ace trainers, close associates of Iris, the elite four themselves and Alder (in old age himself) have decieded to hold a tournament in order to choose who would be the successor to Iris as Champion. This also because Iris had, unbelievably, was not beaten during her time as Champion, it's also anticipated that further remnants of Team Plasma exist somewhere in Unova and that they could mainly use the ill health of Iris to take over the league.
