Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

Private/Closed Dewford Beach

It's a beautiful sunny day in Dewford City, not a cloud in the sky. Children play on the beach, and the sound of training can be heard from the nearby gym. Wingulls fly overhead, on their endless voyage across the continent. Deep underwater lies a rich ecosystem, where plenty of Pokemon live. Ordinarily, Pokemon underwater wouldn't need to worry about dealing with those that lived on the land (except for the occasional fisher, of course). But today wasn't an ordinary day.

Yesterday, a large storm went through the area, and many Pokemon were swept onto the land. Most had made their way back into the sea where they belong, but somehow, in a forgotten corner of the island, there lay a frightened Magikarp, confused and frightened by his predicament.

Walter the stunfisk always enjoyed basking alone, for many years he laid under the sands of Dewford Beach in peacefulness. Then the storm happened and all matters of pokemon and other garbage invaded his sanctuary. Most left but he saw a single Magikarp on the sand trying to flop around. But why should Walter care.... why should a stunfisk care about a magikarp. Even though Walter was trying to not pay attention to this flopping Magikarp he couldn't....

The Magikarp gasped for air; it knew that it wouldn't last long on the beach and needed to make its way back to the water, but then it saw a Stunfisk over a ways away. That Stunfisk..... Maybe they could help me? Using what remains of his strength, he flopped over to what would be his last hope for survival...

Walter the stunfisk lived under the sand , and for many had a tunnel that connected to the ocean. Hopefully the tunnel hasn't collapsed because of the storm. Walter sent up a small surge of sparks and went into the tunnel hoping that the magikarp would follow....

Noticing the sparks, the Margikarp was amazed that the Stunfisk was helping him... Wasn't he? For now however, it seemed like this new opportunity that presented himself would be his only means of survival. He continued his flailing over to the Stunfisk's tunnel, hoping that this wouldn't be some kind of trap...

The stunfisk saw the magikarp flopping over. Everything should go fine the tunnel leads out to the open ocean... But the open ocean has scarier things such as pokemon trainers, sharpedos, and goldeens with their very sharp horns. So the real quest for safety was just starting. Why was the stunfisk risking his life for such a simple Magikarp....

The Magikarp spied the tunnel, and saw the opportunity he was presented with. He was still hesitant to enter, but he was so far away from the ocean that he was starting to become desperate. At least, he decided, it was better than drying out here on land. With a particularly big hop, he lept into the air and landed in the tunnel. He only hoped that the Stunfisk's intentions were noble...

Walter heard a giant flop then nothing... what happened to the magickarp was it not following him? As he looked back up the tunnel he noticed that the sunlight which usually sneaks its way into the tunnel was being blotted out. At closer inspection the magickarp got stuck in the tunnel, the tunnel which was a perfect size for a stunfisk was way to small for this magickarp! As Walter watched the magickarp keep gasping for breath he became frozen in fear not knowing what to do!
