I've been working on a water team lately and I'm having trouble on deciding a move set for Crawdaunt.

Type: Water/Dark
Nature: Adamant
Characteristic: Likes to Thrash About
EV Spread: 252 Atk / 204 Spe / 54 HP

Move Set:
Crunch / Payback
Sword Dance
Waterfall
Aerial Ace / Substitute

Any and all input would be helpful.

First off, welcome to Charms! May your stay be long and fruitful :)

I'm not so much of a competitive person, so I'm expecting people like Ruko or Jet to help more here.

However, I'm also not so brainless :p

Did you think about X-Scissor? Good vs those pesky grass types... and browsing through his move list highlights moves like Crabhammer (Personal preference vs Waterfall I'd think), Rock Slide and Superpower.

Hope this vaguely helps or opens some new doors.
