Rex Raptor

"Raptor!" Weevil yelled at the other duelist. "She withstood the power of my Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth! This is a team battle! If you throw in with these two chumps, they will be the ones that win!"

"..."

"..."

Wheeeeeeeze

"Nyhah hah haaa!!"

Rex couldn't help but point and laugh at the duelist. A single tear of joy on the corner of his eye as he was enjoying rubbing this in.

"That big bug of yours couldn't even hurt her! Some trump card you got! Hah! Just like a real moth, it looks scarier than it actually is!" He openly mocked him. "Don't get your parasite panties in a twist, I just wanna show you how the true king of beasts can quash 'em!"

...wherever she went. In fact, it seemed like she blipped off the face of the earth. She must have done that annoying teleportation thing again. It would take forever to find her in this forest. Wait...forest...

"...Like this!!!"

Pointing at the forest around the field of play, King Rex unleashed a storm of charcoal smoke and flame, leaves and bark setting ablaze nigh instantly as a result. The forest was on fire! Embers and smoke erupted upwards, and The moth's hurricane winds made the flames scorch across the plain even outside the lab in a heartbeat!! Fire was everywhere! Harsh winds blew through his hair and beanie as Rex swung his newfound sword defiantly to point at the sky.

"Try hiding in a forest when you'll get burnt down to cinders! Nyah ha haaaa!!!"

Literally smoking her out. Since she looked made of leaves, she'd HAVE to come back! And he was ready. Drawing another card, he prepared his Dino's to unleash hell.

Chai.

Patank!

Fwoooooosh

Right off the bat, Chai's guitar was knocked right out of his hand, landing on a little notch in the concrete path. Wind knocked out of his sails in one move, the rock star blinked, at a loss. He then arched his brow, turning to Noah gesturing both his hands to him in a 'Come on' fashion.

"...LASERS?! It HAD to be lasers...!" He groaned. "'Time out for a second."

He held up a finger as if to pause the match before making a break for his weapon, running over to the concrete path while the cat, 808, leaped onto his shoulders and draped itself on them.

Aegislash
Masaru rolled along the concrete after being struck by Aegislash’s shield, getting back up impressively quickly. The man was obviously trained in combat and had impressive reaction time, but everyone had limits. The sword squinted as Masaru stated that he “wasn’t bad”. Raising a hand, Aegislash made a “bring it on” gesture, staring the martial artist down without falter.

To his disappointment, Masaru approached with a simple kick. Aegislash tossed his shield up and moved his body upwards, then quickly downwards to slide into the shield, changing into Shield Forme! Right as Masaru’s foot connected with Aegislash’s body, his shield glowed orange. Instead of taking damage or being pushed back, a projection of the shield emerged from Aegislash’s body and hit Masaru. It didn’t do any damage, but Masaru’s attacks would do less damage for some time. Additionally, Aegislash himself began to glow, the power of his next move being increased!

“AEGI!” The pokemon changed forms once again, catching his shield in his hand and using it to block the bullets fired by Taskmaster. Then, the edges of his body glowed bright white and gold (the gold coming from the King’s Shield bonus) and he went in for a giant slash on Masaru with Sacred Sword!

Jevil
“Oh ho ho?” Jevil laughed as Kassandra asked to switch teams. “I would’ve liked to bring you freedom, freedom! But it seems to be much more fun over there with him!” The jester disappeared with a laugh and appeared next to Ripper Roo, laying on the floor in a relaxed fashion. ”What brings you to these games?”

Ripper Roo coughed up a toy fire truck.

”Hee hee, interesting, interesting!“ Jevil seemed to…understand the kangaroo? Perhaps the mentally insane had a secret language.

”Well, if you don’t mind…” Jevil floated up into the air with his feet kicked back. “What say we start the game, if you are so inclined?” The jester said with a mischievous grin.

Inkling “Blue”
“Wait a sec…where’d that beach come from?!” The squiddo instinctively backed away a few steps even though he was nowhere near the water. “Whatever, gotta stay focused.” He lightly slapped the sides of his face before looking at Rinku, who landed beside him. “Show you what I can do…?” The Inkling scratched his head. “Uh…I got this.” He pulled out a pyramid shape object with a blue center and dropped it on the ground.

The object started to beep and then exploded after a second like a grenade, and it would hurt like one too! Blue immediately jumped backwards and pulled out his trusty Splattershot, shooting the environment around him and covering it with ink. Whether Rinku avoided the bomb or not, the squid kid changed into squid form and focused on Beam since he was attacking Dagr. He swam the ink that he had covered some of the floor in, jumping between splats on the ground and moving shockingly fast.

Once he got close enough the Inkling jumped out of the ink and changed back to humanoid form, looking up at the shark demon. “Woah, shark! Wait, no, focus!” Blue cocked the Splattershot and opened fire on Beam, hoping to take some heat off of Dagr!

Rinku

The demon child looked on, waiting patiently as Blue rummages around in what he presumed was his pocket, pulling out an odd, geometrical device.

Ooo, he brought toys~

"That looks neat."

He couldn't help but smile when it was brought out, and consequently dropped. Rinku knew this had to be some kind of attack method. Probably a gas that wouldn't affect the enemy. Using a single kick, Rinku flew right off the ground, levitating into the air. But no gas emitted from it. Instead, it just exploded into a blue substance that splatted all over the ground. Even more, looked like the Inkling was covering even more of the ground in the substance.

Huh. So...he fights with paint? Ha, that's cute. Pretty fun aesthetically, but cute.

Rinku couldn't help to be amused, so as Blue turned into his squid form and jumped through the puddles toward Beam, he put two and two together.

Aha, more paint = more swim space for him. I see~

While Inkling was fixated on the shark, Rinku would dart down from above with extreme speeds to deliver a sharp drop kick to Blue's gun before they could fire.

"My turn~"

That's when Rinku would follow up with a floating roundhouse kick, directed straight for the ink boy's stomach. It seemed deceptively strong, and would easily throw the boy flying through the air.

KASSANDRA

The Misthios and the Knight were in agreement. As Ripper continued to be useless, Jevil caught on to the shift in alliances (and considering the lack of Master Hand intervention, this was an allowed transaction), commenting with "Interesting, interesting," but Kassandra was quick to tune him out after that. His voice was giving her a headache.

"Malaka, just shut up already!" She shouted over his baby-babble as she quite suddenly shot forward, propelling herself too rapidly for any human, closing the distance to Jevil and Ripper in a moment with an overhead slash, meant to cleave through Jevil, and into Ripper on the ground. She expected retaliation -

But she could take it.

Audrey
"Huh?!" Audrey was surprised by Ryuji's roar, feeling her enemies' rise in power even from where she was. Then, the Phantom Thief turned his attention to her, and she felt a little bit of electricity rumble beneath her. For that split second, many a thought raced into her head - Electricity was a terrifying thing to be hit by, and she wasn't exactly excited to get a taste of her own medicine. But then she glanced at her blade in the ground. Quickly she jumped, holding onto the hilt and hoping the attack would pass quickly enough that she wouldn't hit the ground as she tried to balance herself.

When the electricity rung out, it struck into the blade, conducting it rather masterfullly...and stopping at the hilt! In fact. Eventually, when the blast ended, Audrey landed down, pulling her sword out as it streamed with electricity. She lifted it up, as if showing off to the crowd! Soon after, she turned to her foes, shooting out the lightning directly at Nótt before charging Ryuji again.

"Hah, what'd you think of that, Punk!?" She mocked as she swung her sword down on Ryuji, attempting to crush him with pure might with said sword.

Axe
"Whu-" Axe was caught off guard by the sound of his own firecracker behind him, quickly turning to slap it away with his shield. He then turned back to Mr Miracle, trying to run forward to slam him with the shield...Only to trip on a banana peel, falling into the air for a second before he tumbled, rolling into Mr Miracle whilst dazed.

Honestly, it was quite the funny sight, his eyes went wide and everything.

Masaru
Masaru was surprised as he jumped back, his attack having been easily blocked as he felt slightly weaker. That was weird... Unless...
"So, weakening me, huh?" He shook his head as he asked his opponent the rhetorical question, before slapping his own cheeks. "I won't be stopped that easy!" He added, stomping his foot into the ground as he focused, clearing his head. A few seconds later, a somewhat blue glow appeared around him for a second. He felt his strength rising back to it's original state, and his other statistics powering up. He also felt the pain from the attack from before fading.

"Come and get it!" He called out as Aegislash aimed an attack to him, the sword seeming to grow for the moment.
Alola Slap!
He shot forward, matching Aegislash's blade with a flurry to slapping blows, moving fast enough to create afterimages with the force of a whirlwind behind him!

The Warlock

While the blow struck though, the armor and will of the Priest still took a fair part of the blow, leaving only a little. It was still powerful enough to leave a visible mark on the armor due to the close range, though nothing further - The Warlock still teleported, however, ending up behind Lucario.

"Good try, however you are not. Good. Enough." He mocked into the Aura user's ear, as his laser, the Null Lance, fired off towards Lucario's skull, with the two remaining Priests firing at him - Emptying their entire magezines of fire in an attempt to kill Lucario.

Mudkip
The Mud Fish held his breath as the two battled atop a ledge. Lucario seemed to be handling himself well, but maybe he could use some help- Dart decided to grab the Pokémon's attention, snapping him out of his trance.

"They're both pretty tough! ...Hey by the way, why don't you want to fight?"

Mudkip turned to the man, feeling a pang of guilt before responding. He felt like a bad friend in the moment for sitting there and talking while Lucario was getting injured in his fght.

"Mud... mudkip mudkip kip mudkip mudkip! Mudkip mudkip kip Mudkip Mud?"

Kragg
The boulder shattered into a spray of gravel; a scatter. He lifted up an arm, and the shards curved through the air to coalesce onto his arm. Now with a stone gauntlet enclosing his fist, he reared the arm back, before throwing it forward to collide with Cayman's fiery dropkick. The beetle's stoic face showed a faint sign of recognition, as Cayman was beginning to remind him a lot of Zetterburn; the fiery warrior-prince of the Fire Capital.

This thought flashed across Kragg's brain as the stone surrounding his fist shattered upon impact. He was quick to retaliate, pulling his fist back after the initial clash, and turned his whole body. As he turned, his other arm came up, and he brought down his foot hard, bringing his fist down with it. The stomp summoned a stone spike beneath the warrior, and the fist was to punch his Adept foe into it!

Beam
The shark sunk back into the stage, his head changing back to normal as he did. His small fin stuck out of the ground, betraying his position at all times. For several moments he circled the warrior, smelling her fear. Then, the fin disappeared. A second later, and the ugly shark head burst from the ground, devastating jaws primed to crunch and rip. Beam had shot low this time, aiming to relieve Dagr of her leg!

Troy & Allison
Allison was foiled by a large metal bird. Stupid bird. It slashed at her with its claws, but luckily, it didn't have armor on its feet. Her free hand transformed into a metal edge, which she used to slash at the bird's talons, attempting to take as many off as she could. Then she spun around the raptor to flank the princess.

The eagle distracted Nótt for a moment, giving Troy enough of a breather to shake off some of the dizziness. Nótt turned back to skewer the cult leader, but he was whipping up a Vortex Ball- one that enveloped his entire body! He was able to move a bit before the lance struck, causing it to deflect off the side of the ball. It was at this moment as well that Allison plunged her knife at Nótt's side before hopping backwards to avoid retaliation. Troy zipped away in his hamster ball made of air, orbiting around the jotun woman until he, she, and Allison lined up with each other.

"Alli."

"Yo!"

"Link two."

"Can do~!"

Just then, a super fast wave of energy, only visible by the distortion of air around it, travelled between Allison and Troy, with Nótt in the middle. If she wasn't able to somehow avoid the attack, the wave would disrupt her soul, her spirit, her chakra. It would cause her muscles to seize up for the next thirty seconds or so, though a woman of her strength would still be able to move with quite a lot of effort. It'd also severely weaken any abilities that were related to her soul, to the point that it might not be worth the effort to use said abilities.

Kirin
Oh crap.

Not only was Rex looking to finish Neph off before dealing with Weevil, but the insect-expert was now gunning for the Battle Priestess, commanding his ultimate monster to rain hell upon her. In mere instants, the ground she stood on was engulfed by the beam, leaving a charred spot where Kirin once was, and it seemed she'd indeed been obliterated by the attack.

Until she appeared beside Rex in a flash of azure light.

"Well, that's new," she remarked as she looked herself over, feigning ignorance---in truth, she'd used her Arc Chain to warp to her sword's position, a nifty little trick that spared her from a terrible fate. She held off on any potential moves, noting how she could barely feel the psychic energy Neph exuded, which meant she was still hanging on. The Pokémon seemed quite crafty, and there was no doubt she had a plan in mind to outsmart the opponents, certainly making her the MVP of the fight should she pull it off. So as much as Kirin wanted to get right back in the action and show these kids what for, she waited.

"Guess Master Hand's keeping me alive until just one is left standing." she added onto her comment, as though offering an explanation to her sudden appearance.
Cayman
The beetle was as strong as he expected, meeting his attack head on without hesitation. Now within his preferred CQC range, Cayman's body let out a burst of flame as he flexed midair, repelling both the overhead attack and the spike coming from below, though Kragg himself received no damage from it.

"Come on, let's fight like men!"

The Adept of Duelist then unleashed a flurry of punches, small bursts of flame spouting from his fists with each swing, Cayman's body practically glowing with both power and excitement. After a couple seconds of attacking, he would then lunge at Kragg with his knee out, aiming for a quick strike to the beetle's abdomen.

Pit
Luckily for the angel, his swing of the Babel Club had aided a great deal in protecting him from the Death Missile, a burst of heat engulfing Pit---though Palutena's power of cooling kept him unharmed. At least that was what he assumed, since the goddess refused to reveal whether or not it was a real thing.

"Who're you calling an ape, fivehead?" Pit retorted, blue lasers still coming at him. It was actually kind of surprising how long-lasting they were. His wings glowed blue as the Power of Flight activated again, Pit soaring though the air at high speed, just above where the Man-Mind aimed.

"The barrier is almost out! Just a little more!"

Pit made to swing the Babel Club with all his might, using his speed to smash through the forcefield and potentially cave M.O.D.O.K.'s skull in with the massive weapon!

Grazie
"Tiny?! Why I oughta..."

She hated to admit it, but Magolor's ability to control sand in his vicinity made things a lot more complicated for her. Maybe going for that magician guy would be best for now. Her head swiveled over to Mr. Miracle just in time to watch Axe slip on a banana peel, earning laughter from the crowd.

Yeah, that WAS pretty funny.

The sand under Axe began shifting as he lay still, moving him over to Mr. Miracle's back while Grazie closed in smoothly, essentially surfing on sand. She would approach from the man's right, a sand gauntlet forming around her hand before she quickly swung her fist at the magic man.

Ripper Roo

With a certain element of bloodlust amongst growing irritation, Kassandra lunged forward, blade at the read to cut down both Jevil and ripper in one fell swoop. Right as she came for them, the kangaroo, still on the ground, bounded his legs forward.

What resulted was his backside flying way up into the air while the top of his body swung low. Soaring just above Kassandra's head, Ripper extended his tongue-

Slooooorp

Roo would lick Kassandra right across her face! His saliva betting to blind her for a few moments. All the while, he bounced and panted off of the ground all around her and Jevil, laughing and taunting her while the ground seemed to now glow a bright red color.

"Hehehe...hahahahahaha!!!"

Nótt

Metal clashed against metal as Allison and Moon-Wing slashed at each other. Sparks flew as Allison's blade was unable to cut into the Jötun eagle, but Moon-Wing's talons were unable to land a clean hit on the woman. Allison attempted to skirt by Moon-Wing, stabbing at Nótt. But once again, the Jötun eagle extended its wings. However, this time was a little different. It was just too far away, and Allison's blade found a weak point in the metal feathers. Her dagger plunged through Moon-Wing's wing, reaching Nótt but not going as deep as it would have. The princess winced and moved back.

A blast of lightning hit her, knocking Nótt back even further. The princess staggered back to her feet, watching as Allison and Troy came together. About to do a special move. In that moment, Nótt felt a burst of power from Skull and his fighting spirit. Such strength! Nótt's lance, Hrímfaxi, glowed light blue as the power she gained from Ryuji and his spirit was doubled. Troy and Allison unleashed their attack, but in that same moment Nótt pointed her lance at them. A massive beam of blue energy, it's power strengthened x4, shot towards Troy and Allison!

The inivisible wave then struck Nótt. The warrior princess gasped as pain erupted all through her body. It felt as though she was being constantly electrified, her body on fire. Nótt leaned on her lance.
"A-ack... a p-powerful curse..." Nótt gasped.

DART

Whoa... his name is his language...! I've never heard something like this before. Concentrate, Dart Feld. Focus on what he could be saying...!

Dart screwed up his face in concentration, attempting to decipher what the Mudkip had tried to say. Finally, he came to a conclusion. "I think I get it! You're just a little cutie who wants to help people!" His gaze shifted toward the raging battle between Lucario and Warlock. "And you want to help your friend... I can sympathize with you, but if you do that, I'll have no choice but to fight you, Mudkip, and I don't want to. I sense... a strange friendship blossoming between us. Like you and I were meant to frolic through grassy fields and eat comically large meals together!"

NEPH

Through a crack in the wall, allowing Neph to look within the lab from the outside, she narrowed her gaze as Rex set the forest ablaze, believing he was culling her. What an idiot.

Actually... hang on... no, she could use this...

As the fire spread rapidly, consuming more and more of the forest, from the perspective of the others, the gardevoir suddenly appeared in the distance, observable only through gaps in the trees, surrounded by gaps in the trees, waving her arms frantically as she appeared to try and escape the burning surroundings, before a large burning branch toppled over her, and she disappeared behind a flaming bush, before there was a small flash of light, as though she'd just shattered apart like a duel monster.

A bit of an embarrassing stunt, Neph thought, as she appeared back at the other end of the lab, patting out a smoldering flame on her shoulder, but it could have done the trick in making the others perceive her as defeated. Besides, she'd seen how their monsters were destroyed. Blasting a small flare of light had been enough to replicate it in a sense. There would be no body to search for, since Rex (and hopefully Weevil) would assume she perished just as their summons did.

M.O.D.O.K.

This little...!

M.O.D.O.K.s grin flipped into a scowl as his eyes tracked the angel soaring up, before he came down.
"YOU HERO-TYPES ARE ALL THE SAME. HANGING ON, DESPITE THE OVERWHELMING ODDS. CONTINUING TO FIGHT, DESPITE KNOWING YOUR END IS AT HAND! IT MAKES ME SICK!"

So what if this little brat destroyed the energy shield!? The Man-Mind had already activated his second line of defense!

The bat came down, and the shield flared up, before it popped like a bubble, but before Pit's attack could go any further, an omni-directional burst of powerful energy swelled out of the Mechanized Organism, expanding violently outward as both a kinetic and an electric blast of devastating energy. M.O.D.O.K. laughed, the electricity working to stun Pit while throwing him back, before the Doomsday Chair's propulsion flared to life, and M.O.D.O.K. began to rocket about the stage, except as he moved, more of him seemed to appear, splitting off of him, until nearly a dozen different M.O.D.O.K.s all cackled down at Pit, each exerting the same energy as the real M.O.D.O.K. due to his psychic projection giving them "life." Then, they all spoke in unison, voices thundering through the stage.

"DID YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOU WOULD WIN WITH SUCH A PREDICTABLE AND PRIMITIVE ATTACK!? I AM M.O.D.O.K.!!! I AM GENIUS!!! I HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN TO SHOW YOU WHAT I CAN DO!"

Rex Raptor

"Wah-!"

Suddenly. Woman. Kirin had appeared uncomfortably close to Rex, which the duelist nearly dropped his sword in response, wobbling back to hold it firmly once again. Frowning, he turned back to her.

"What's the big idea?!?"

"Guess Master Hand's keeping me alive until just one is left standing."

"...Eh? But doesn't that mean that he would encourage us killing each other?"

This was getting confusing. Something smelled suspicious. Oh well. The best way to cure suspicion was just to destroy whatever was fishy. Speaking of which, Neph had appeared to be flushed out of hiding, dying to the flames right before Rex's very eyes! Rex laughed proudly as the flames surrounded the laboratory.

"Hahahaha!!!! See that weevil? Just one attack of mine is all it took to take that thing out! A crafty plan ain't nothing compared to sheer stomping power! Speaking of which...let me give you a taste!!"

King Rex would turn around, going to slap Weevil with its thick tail before pointing their mouths up and torching flames straight up at the moth. Judging from the engines, the flames would be sucked right through the engines and blast right out the other side! Mayday on bug force 1!

Minos
Noticing the open palm and the warrior speak up, Minos thought quick, removing a hand from Jeice's throat, relieving the pressure put on. He had formed it into a fist and attempted to swipe a punch at the blast as it was being formed, trying to parry it to the side, away from the two. Regardless of whether or not this would have worked in time, Minos would not let this go unpunished. From the hand that was still grasping onto Jeice's throat, an orange light now came forth from underneath his glowing fingers. An explosive serpent, minus the serpent, would the King plan to cast out to finally end this creature via exploding the very connection that his head held to the rest of his body!

Mr. Miracle
With his opponent fallen, Miracle used the last bits of smoke that were still around to pull a last trick to finish this bit - a pillow would slide in and try to push itself under Axe's head while a blanket fell from above, making it look like this heroic kid was just out like a light after a hard day of work - before a prop anvil would also fall from above, heading straight for Axe's face. Though unfortunately it was made of styrofoam, so really it only served to psyche out the poor boy more than deal any actual damage.

Hagen's sight did not escape Grazie's approach as he took his hat off and flipped it, bowing deep enough as if performing reverse-limbo under the sand gauntlet swing that his other opponent performed. With a finger pointed to his feet, he (quite literally) slid himself away with his magic like a game character without walking animations, now turning to face the alternate foe.

" Now that's not very nice, interrupting a magician's show! Someone should teach you some manners.. Oh, I know! "

Terry comically put a finger to his chin while speaking this, before pulling this hand into a fist and opening it above his head, grasping a lightbulb he made appear in his palm that was then just tossed the sand woman's way - a distraction for the true attack, which involved him pointing the open space of his top hat to Grazie, pressing the top half against his chest as a boxing glove on a spring coiled out of the hat from nowhere, heading towards the girl to give her a good thwack against the head!

Shaymin
The Gratitude Pokémon was shield-bashed away, his miniscule weight granting him more distance between the two as his tiny frame spun around in the air, being caught off-guard mid-attack. As the sword was then thrust his way, however, the attack that he was planning to use next was fired off forcibly, forming into a single large wind blade in the form of Air Slash towards the human's own weapon, potentially knocking it off-path or possibly even dealing damage to it.

When Shaymin shook off the bash (quite literally by shaking its head into order), some strange projectiles were fired his way! He went to intercept them, pointing the hair-like foilage on his head towards Taskmaster, the leaves lighting up light-green and firing off a bunch of seeds as Leech Seed was used, trying to intercept the pellet fire with a barrage of plant-like energy projectiles of his own!

Weevil Underwood

Weevil was fuming. His Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth's attack had missed once again. Then, the unbelievable monster that had blocked his ultimate insect's attack with nothing but a single tree had been defeated by the forest fire. Not even a direct attack from Raptor's Twin-Headed King Rex, but just the flames of the forest fire. And now, Raptor had the moronic gall to attack him before all their opponents had been defeated.

Weevil pressed a button on his duel disk, and one of his many face down cards flipped up. It revealed a purple card, a trap card depicting a hideous worm monster. The worm leapt out of the card and dove into Twin-Headed King Rex, and the massive dinosaur monster exploded into pixels. Weevil glared at Rex.

"You idiotic. Moronic. Imbicilic little gnat of a duelist! You keep whining and crying and sniveling about how you only lost to me because of luck. You are a sad, pathetic little excuse for a duelist, and how you managed to even make it to runner up in regionals is a mystery the world will never solve! This is exactly why you lost to me. You are such a fool, that you get caught up in your stupid illusions of strength and you lose sight of the end goal. If this were a real duel, my Moth would have wiped out your little plastic dinosaur toy and reduced your life points to zero in one hit. All you had to do was defeat these two little girls and we'll win, but you can't even manage that!" Weevil yelled at Rex. The bug duelist drew another card.

"Moth! Finish Kirin off! Ultimate Tornado of Doom!" Weevil commanded. The massive insect once again fired a powerful attack at Kirin. And while Kirin was its main target, Rex was very close to her. Weevil didn't care if his attack hit Rex or not, as long as it hit Kirin!

Magolor
The wayfarer successfully kept his hard-earned shovel out of Grazie's grubby mitts. With a prideful giggle, he studied the weapon. It was a rinky-dink little thing, but if he injected some of his magic...
Grazie went for Miracle, and Magolor noticed the shift in the sands moving Axe out of harms way. Bless her soul, the thing was trying to save Axe. Well, now was a perfect time to test his new weapon.
Powerful arcane energy, shining hues of purple, blue and white, surrounding the weapon as Magolor swung. The wave of sand that Axe rode on was abruptly hijacked, swelling and arching over the child, likely throwing his balance off, before crashing down over him! As it did, the sand around Axe began to swirl, becoming whirlpool of quicksand that would suck him down. With the sand eroding his skin, and the eventual lack of air, Magolor doubted it would be a pleasant experience.

Ryuji
"Gah! Sorry, my bad!" Ryuji apologized as he saw Audrey redirect his electricity.
"Skull you-watch out!" Oracle began to scold him, before shouting a warning.
Audrey wasn't done, this time going for another strike! Ryuji growled.
"You're gonna pay for that!" he barked, bringing his weapon up. Lightning struck against steel, only to quickly side past it as Ryuji redirected Audrey's sword into the ground!
"You're not going anywhere! William!" Not keen on letting the girl escape again, Ryuji used his other hand to grab at her arm, forcing the blade down and holding her hostage, which would leave her open for William, who was sending another colossal punch at Audrey. The persona's arm was carrying enough boosted force to send Audrey' rocketing towards Troy as an astonishingly fast projectile!

Lucario
The pokemon's aura washed over Warlock, managing to pierce his fodder. But to no one's surprise, The Warlock teleported again, leaving Lucario an ominous message before leaving him to his fate. Lucario looked at his mega bracelet with determined eyes.
"Fine, then let's try this." he responded, tapping into the power within the stone.
For a second, he could hear his original trainer.
"You can do it!" an etheral voice cheered.
Mega Energy enclosed over the aura pokemon, gifting him a brief shell that protected him from The Warlock's shots. But soon it cracked, and shattered as Lucario cried, his roar echoing across the arena! A powerful wave of aura spread from the pokemon, likely knocking The Warlock and his clones back.
Lucario Mega evolved into Mega Lucario!
Mega Lucario twirled, firing multiple smaller balls of aura, three of each would home in on Warlock and his Priests, before quickly closing in on The Warlock and slamming his fist towards his head, aura weak points be damned. Mega Lucario wasn't aiming to debilitate, he was aiming to dismantle without mercy.

Alter Knight
Kassandra certainly was eager to fight, already attacking at Jevil and Ripper Roo recklessly. Alter Knight sighed, hoping her partner wasn't planning on taking hits too often.
Alter Knight attacked next, summoning Libera's lightning. Two bolts zapped the arena, one bolt of lightning striking in front of Kassandra, warding off any frontal assaults, while the other bolt struck over the hopping Roo. Regardless of whether it landed, Alter Knight would leap right at him, bashing her shield into the animal!

Audrey
Audrey was surprised by Ryuji quickly forcing her blade to the ground. While she'd normally pull it out in a second, considering she was used to accidently doing that by herself in the past, Ryuji grabbing her arm to stop her caught her off-guard. What reason would he have to do that, he wouldn't be able to attack himse-
Then she was punched straight in the face. Hard enough to go flying, pulling her sword alongside her since she did not take her hand off the blade. Ow.

She went flying towards Troy, narrowly digging her blade into the ground - It wasn't enough to completely stop her momentum, but it at least slowed her a lot, making her hope she wouldn't hit anything now as to reduce the impact on her body (She did not particulary care for whatever she crashed into if she did)

Axe
Axe groaned as he heard some laughter - Even if he knew he'd probably laugh if he was watching it, himself, it was still a little bit of a sting. Then, he felt moving under him, moving to realise it was Grazie's work before something hijacked it and attempted to suffocate him in a whirl of sand, something that utterly brought fear into his head as he felt as he soon began to suffocate, panicking his thoughts, and his skin rumbled and struggled against the coarse and rough sand.
No, no! I'm not going down like this, I'm not dying here!
A green bright light soon erupted from his satchel, overtaking the sand before the sand pile that would have indicated where Axe was flattened out as the light faded. Then Axe appeared behind Magolor, growling.
"Was that you?!" He immeadiately asked, annoyed as he readied his weapon. "Alright, that's not gonna happen twice!" He insisted as he thought in his head about what to do. After a short moment of decisions, he leapt forward, trying to strike Magolor with a sideways slash, going left, from his shield. Any smirk he would've had was gone, now with a more serious glare on his face.

The Warlock
"By the Elders, what is this?!" Dhar-Hur Mordenna was shocked to see this sudden transformation, the wave of powerful aura pushed him back, though did not damage him, while he was able to block the small ball of aura with his armored hands. The Priests, having weaker armor, were hit and caught off guard, however, which prevented them from helping when Lucario zoomed forward, aiming a fist to their leader's head. He tried to jump back to avoid it, but this just resulted in the blow striking his gut, causing him to gag and spit out a little bit of red blood to the ground, his armor shattered at the point of impact. He disappeared soon after, but when he reappeared back on a platform on the opposite side of the room for a second, still stunned and holding his gut for a moment.

"How did it..." He muttered to himself, before getting to his feet. "No! You will NOT get the better of me!" He roared at Lucario, launching off another attempt at Mind Scorch directly at Mega Lucario - The recovering Priests attempting to hold their enemy down.

Noah's blade had struck it's target and Chai's guitar was flung out of the musician's hands, a satisfying clank. As to be expected from the would be Rockstar, he loudly exclaimed his disapproval, practically animating his whole body as he ran back to get his weapon. By this time Noah had landed, doing a full sprint towards Chai's fallen weapon. Chai may have wanted to pause the match, but Noah knew to never let up, not even for a second. Starting to close the distance between himself and his opponent, Noah quickly tried to slash his blade at the side of Chai's body, wanting the knock the guitarist further away from his weapon.

Kirin
Weevil was, of course, not on board with Rex's plan and the Battle Priestess's survival. Shockingly enough, a single card of Weevil's was able to completely destroy King Rex, which complicated things for the moment. The insect expert capitalized on the lack of obstacles, commanding his moth to attack Kirin and the nearby Rex.

She had to get moving.

A bright light burst from the insect's abdomen as it unleashed another beam of energy and wind, Kirin already sprinting away, disregarding Rex's safety entirely. The Adept flung a talisman down the hall as she ran, trying to land it in a safe spot as she felt the attack grow nearer, and as the talisman finally stuck on a faraway wall...

The beam struck. The outer portion of it caught Kirin for a moment, the girl not quite able to escape the radius, feeling her body burn quite painfully with all the energy going on, but she managed to activate her Arc Chain before long. In an instant, she zipped to her talisman's position, leaving an azure afterimage behind---and she dropped to a knee on her new location, thankfully just out of Weevil's line of sight. She needed a second to recover from that one, the power output of that moth was outstanding, but there was something she and Neph had accomplished.

With that attack surely putting Rex in grave danger, the odds of the duelists completely turning on each other grew more and more. Exactly what they had been hoping for, and the perfect means to turn the tide in their favor.

Pit
The shield finally gave out, giving Pit a chance to actually rack up some damage---but M.O.D.O.K. had other plans, releasing an electric burst that, while mostly blocked by the Babel Club's holy (and rocky) properties, still hurt Pit somewhat, the angel gritting his teeth as he spun through the air, landing on his feet quite smoothly.

"Alright! Now it's really on--wait, what?"

By the time he was ready to attack again, he was faced with dozens of copies of his opponent, each one cackling maniacally.

"They're all giving off the exact same energy... I can't pinpoint the real one!"
"Don't worry, I'll show HIM what I can do!"

In his experience, clones usually went poof after a couple hits or vanished after a while, so there was a decent chance M.O.D.O.K.'s unoriginal party trick would work the same way. He needed some better firepower than the slow-hitting Club he had. A bright light enveloped the angel's right arm, a white mechanical weapon with blue accents manifesting around it: his EZ Cannon. Explosive rounds soon flew through the air at each M.O.D.O.K., aiming to blow each one up and even cause chain reactions with each shot!

Grazie
"Hey, no fair! No one goes around hijackin' my--whoa!"

Grazie's complaints were interrupted by a lightbulb smashing against her helmet, glass shards flying outwards, thankfully away from her eyes. The real deal came next though, the Adept turning her head just in time to watch Mr. Miracle's springloaded boxing glove head her way. With her still intact sand gauntlet, the girl swung a fist of her own, the two attacks colliding.

While no one took any real damage, the sand from Grazie's gauntlet burst outwards---and it clung onto the boxing glove as it retracted back towards Mr. Miracle, gaining speed before it leapt out at the man, taking the shape of a hammer that would soon smash down on his head. If the magic man wanted to give her a thwack to the head, she'd hit back with a good ol' bonk!

Inkling “Blue”
”Wa-huh?!” Blue stuttered as his Splattershot was kicked from the air and out of his hands by Rinku. Suddenly: roundhouse kick! The enemy child was clearly capable of flight and was using momentum to his advantage, but the squid kid’s reaction time was far from slow. Before the kick could connect, Blue changed into his squid form with a gloop, dropping to the ground and avoiding the attack. He wasn’t done, however. He extended one of his larger tentacles and wrapped it around the airborne demon’s leg as his momentum betrayed him and prevented him from dodging in time.

“Ngyes!” Blue reverted to his Inkling language for a moment and threw Rinku with a shocking amount of force, sending the kid flying through the air and possibly into a wall if he didn’t react quick enough. “Rude!” The Inkling said as he changed back to humanoid form. He switched his weapon to a sniper-looking weapon with a metallic ink tank on the back and an elongated metallic spout with a plastic attachment and a black sight with a scope on top that acted as a barrel: the E-Liter 4K Scope!

Taking aim with a shocking amount of speed, Blue fired the weapon, shooting a long piercing shot of ink towards the soaring Rinku! Immoderately after doing so, the squid kid ran to the side and picked up his Splattershot, putting it away for now in favor of the E-Liter.

“Dagr, you—“ Blue turned to face his ally, only to find that she had an unexpected guest at her feet: Beam! “Heywatchout!” The Inkling said in a panic, barely separating the words as he pointed his weapon at the shark and fired at his eye!

Jevil
Jevil pursed his lips in a mocking pout as Kassandra told him to shut up and charged forward with her sword raised in an overhead slash. The jester cartoonishly stepped to the side as if walking on air and gave the warrior a grin. “Didn’t your mama ever tell you it’s rude to interrupt?” He joked before sending several spades her way. They would do respectable damage if they landed hit their main purpose was to get her out of the way, quite literally, so Jevil could look at the other opponent.

Alter Knight summoned two lightning strikes: one in front of Kassandra and one in front of Roo. The jester was sure he’d be fine and focused his attention on the knight, teleporting behind with his scythe raised.

“FORE!” Jevil yelled during his scythe swing, aiming to cut through his enemy’s torso!

Slash
His opponent definitely wasn’t going down easy, somehow boosting his statistics, healing slightly, and returning his attack to the way it was with one simple maneuver. Aegislash had never seen a move like that before, especially of that magnitude and speed. A shame he was fighting this man, he seemed honorable.

Masaru aimed to match Slash’s Sacred Sword with repeated blows with his hands. Admittedly, the tactic worked better than the sword would have guessed, but it wasn’t quite enough. Sacred Sword wasn’t completely stopped and still went through with the slashing motion, though Masaru could still possibly avoid I’d if he moved quickly enough.

After finishing Sacred Sword, Slash threw his shield forwards and past Masaru, as if he had missed. However, the Pokémon’s intentions were soon made clear as he fired a blue lasers from his eye and into the shield, causing it to ricochet off of the shield and towards Masaru’s back!

Rex Raptor

Rex was going to give a sarcastic retort to Weevil, but it soon dawned on him about his situation. He only had one, weak monster out while Weevil had a massive monster at his disposal. Not even Two Headed King Rex was left standing. Taking a step back, Rex grit his teeth while Weevil's large moth began to rev up near the end of his speech. When the monster began to deliver an attack right at him, something swept in.

"...!!!!"

Shove

It was Tomozaurus! The green Dino swept and head-butted his duelist to the side, sending Rex into the air. However, was too close to the attack. So when Tomozaurus was instantly destroyed by it, Rex was caught in the aftershock, of it, being sent flying in the same direction at wild speeds!

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Crash!

BANG!

Rex was sent rocketing through an already buckling laboratory wall, flying outside the starting fighting area. He slapped past many large dangling leaves and thin branches, which helped slow him down as he touched ground. He rolled and rolled for around fifty feet before finally coming to a stop. The blast from the moth having created a temporary void in the flames.

"Ah...owww..."

Looks like my inner voice was right...he WAS gonna use that monster against me. Tch! Last time I doubt my first instinct. If only I torched that thing harder while it was still in a cocoon...

Slowly wobbling back up to his feet, he rubbed his head. Looking around, he saw the sword he has just before, he must have dropped it in that chaotic mess. Begrudgingly walking over a yard or two, he plucked it up, his disorientation starting to wear off, but the pain was real.

"...Gah...I'm not going to let it be like this!"
Drawing a card, Rex had an idea. A tricky one. Placing the card down on his duel disk, he needed to go talk to that lady.

"Come out, MEGAZOWLER!"

.
..
...

Seconds ticked by. More and more. In the secluded hall that Kirin found herself in, she would notice the sound of quaking. something was coming. Something big. Something broke apart, probably a nearby wall. Right near her, something shattered through the wall just to her right. It was Rex! Although banged up, he seemed to be riding on the back of a giant orange triceratops like creature with spikes all over its body and two meat cleavers for horns. Waving his sword into the air and grinning, he looked into her eyes.

"Ha! There you are. You, with me. A nerd is getting squashed tonight!!!"

"Ruuuuuoooo!"

Megazowler reared up on its hind legs and the fire blazed behind Rex, who was clearly living out his best fantasy.

Chai

Noah wasn't going to give him the time out. Instead the swordsman went straight after him, not keen on giving him any breathing room. 808's eyes widened as the attack got closer and closer.

"Chai! 6 o clock!"

"I know! I know!"

Noah was going to intercept before he reached his weapon. Preparing for this, Chai spun to meet the protagonist like dude, a whirring sound coming from his metal hand, like some type of energy build up before-

"High Pitched Punch!"

Chai yelled his attack as he swung his fist up diagonally to intercept the blade. That's when a powerful concussive force escaped the fist, aiming to blast Noah upwards and away while doing a bit of damage to him. This would give him some perfect cover as he would tuck and roll, grabbing his guitar with his other hand

♩♪ This is your time to pay.
This is your judgment day. ♫♬

Rinku

"Oh!"

Rinku was suddenly thrown up into the air! The kid had some slick moves, ducking into the ink like that. He'd be sure not to make that same mistake again. Correcting himself midair, he sat cross legged right where he was, grinning down at Blue who pulled out a sniper rifle of some sort.

"That was fun! Entertain me more! Let's play a game!"

Suddenly, Rinku spontaneously split into six doppelgängers, each of them exploding outwards from where the real one was, the real one now no longer in sight! Seemed like he was amongst the doppelgängers! So when they split, the sniper shot went right past the original's starting spot!

They quickly fell to earth, each of them running past Blue, taunting him, and completely messing up his concentration! One of the clones yelled right in his ear to throw him off while another flew up past his face to startle him. While the others simply raced across the air above, behind, and around him causing a lot of noise and chaos.

"Which one Which oneee~!" They taunted in unison.

Magolor
To be honest, Magolor felt kind of bad seeing Axe struggle from under all that sand. As he watched the kid go under, he attempted to listen for something.
C'mon kid...forfeit.
But surprisingly, they didn't. Green light shone through the sand whirlpool, before going dark. Just then, Magolor sensed a figure appear behind him.
"Was that you?" they asked.
Magolor quickly connected the dots, and whirled around.
"Who, me?" Magolor asked innocently, though his cocky smirk made it clear he was anything but that. Axe struck at his side, only to be blocked by Grazie's shovel. While he was no Dedede, Magolor's magic held it's own against Axe strength.
Magolor continued to play innocent. "I would neeever do something like tha-sand surprise!"
A spray of sand was sent into Axe's face. Magolor had discreetly summoned up a ball of it via a palm sized rune in his other hand, and burst it as he was talking.

Mega Lucario
The pokemon's fist was a direct hit, but they hardly took time to process that before attempted to crack The Warlock's skull open with another blow. A exercise in futility, as The Warlock never stood in one place and vanished before he could suffer any more damage. Mega Lucario whirled to face Warlock's position before he had even finished teleporting, his pinprick pupils locking in on the chosen. The Warlock's priests attempted to hold Lucario down for his attack, a noble yet pointless attempt as the empowered fighting type grabbed them and threw them at Warlock's Mind Scorch. Whether they actually stopped the attack hardly mattered to him, as he released his aura as a powerful laser, reducing the priests to nothing, and intending to do the same to The Warlock, Mind Scorch be dammed.

"I have NO idea! nyahahahaha!!!!"

Crash!

Rex smashed through another wall with Megazowler, the beast galloping through the laboratory's halls. This was amazing!! He was caught up in all the awesomeness that was going on right now to actually weight a long term strategy. Short term did him just fine! Glancing at his cards in his hand, he couldn't help but grin even wider. Who cares about long term if there wouldn't be a long term anyway! His next move would end this thing!

"Hang tight lady, unless you can do anything to make my Dino stronger! I'm coming in hoooot!"

Megazowler continued bounding down the hall, shattering back into the lab's main chamber where Weevil and his moth sat. The dino was already in its maximum sprinting speed! Flames gathering around the dinosaur's horns as it charged straight on toward the moth...and by proxy Weevil himself!

"HAHAHAHAHA!!! I'll take care of my pest problem!!"

NEPH

And there it was. The gardevoir's mental work was finally paying off. Rex wasn't the brightest of minds, so he'd been fairly simple to manipulate. Her attempt against Weevil had nearly backfired, but even he'd bought her "death."

< All we have to do is keep them at opposition, then we clean up what's left. > Neph projected her thought toward Kirin as she slunk along the outside of the lab, Rex now in full battle mode against Weevil. It was actually kind of exciting, turning allies against one another. She'd never tried that before.

My trainer could have never, she thought with satisfaction. She'd accomplished something he hadn't. That filled her with a glowing sense of pride as she watched her handiwork unfurl. Kirin nearly succumbed to an attack from Weevil, but fortunately, she survived. That great moth of his was powerful... maybe too powerful. Was she allowed to rip up their cards? Was that against the rules? If she could, that would have been extremely useful earlier.

KASSANDRA

Her attack got the others into motion. Finally, this could kick off. Otherwise it would have been more annoying-

“Didn’t your mama ever tell you it’s rude to interrupt?”

Ugh, he was still talking.

"My mater taught me bloodier lessons," the misthios replied as Ripper was springing up, his strangely long tongue lashing at her. While he did smear his disgusting saliva over her eyes, she'd brought up her free hand, making to grasp at its base or as close to it in her vice grip. Even if it was slick enough to slide through her grip, her hidden blade shot from her wrist, aiming to plunge through the tongue and cut it right down the middle.

She wasn't left to worry over Jevil's spades, as the Knight's bolt of electricity stopped them in their tracks.

Fighting blind wasn't a new concept to Kassandra. She'd been forced to do it multiple times, even having fought a raging Minotaur in pitch blackness before. Ripper's oddly strategic attempt at gaining an advantage would not be as fruitful as he'd expect.

M.O.D.O.K.

"WHAT'S THIS? YOU THINK YOU CAN PULL OUT A BIGGER GUN LIKE YOU OWN THE CONCEPT?" The M.O.D.O.K.s chanted in unison. Even as they were obliterated, one by one, they didn't seem at all bothered, rocketing all about, dodging some of his blasts, making it hard for him to land his hits, greatly increasing the time he spent trying to wipe them out.

It all gave M.O.D.O.K. the time he needed. The Man-Mind scoffed as he tapped at his panel, and the sides of the Doomsday Chair opened up (the remaining projections doing the same), revealing two large devices on either side of the chair.
"SAY HELLO! AND GOODBYE! TO MY DUAL HYPER BEAMS!"

The massive dual-beams of energy fired at light-speed towards Pit, surging with untold potential as the Mechanized Organism chuckled darkly, his projections dissipating, their use finished.
"THE LIKES OF THOR, THE GOD OF THUNDER, AND THE INCREDIBLE HULK HAVE FALLEN FROM A SINGLE BLAST PROJECTED BY MY DUAL HYPER BEAMS! YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE!"

Taskmaster
The creature managed to block his sword swing, and then summoned some odd-looking seeds. That took his attention, and he shot the baby plants to bits. He fired one more shot at Shaymin before, in a surprising move, stashing his gun and turning tail. He bounded at the wall, digging his boot into a crevice, pushing himself upwards and further away from Shaymin, so he ended up on the other side of Slash and Masaru. As he twisted midair, he conjured his bow, quickly drawing two arrows. One was aimed at Slash as he focused on Masaru, a bulb-headed that, upon impact, would explode into a sticky putty that would weigh him down and stick him to anything he touched. The other was aimed towards Shaymin, but it didn't meet its mark. Instead, it struck the wall nearby, and erupted in an explosion! He counted on catching the animal off-guard with the indirect attack.
He stowed the bow before landing, but didn't stop there, instead bounding for Aegislash's shield that flew behind Masaru. He grabbed it, yanking on one side to turn it and deflect the lasers elsewhere. Then, he wrestled the shield out of the air entirely, tucking the stolen one under his free arm.

"You're doing a pretty good job for fistfighting a sword, but I swear I am going to kill this deer if you don't knock it out first."

Kragg
The man extruded flames- now that was a page taken straight out of Zetterburn's book. The flames did little against Kragg's tough skin, but it was enough to force him to take a step back. Then came the flurry. Kragg raised his arms to protect his head as blow after blow landed, barely keeping his guard together. Then came the finishing knee. It slammed into his gut, bit Kragg didn't go anywhere. The earth had come up to swallow his feet, locking him in place!

The attack required some commitment from Cayman, so Kragg took advantage of this, grabbing the man with his huge arms and flinging him at the steep mountain's rock face. Should he hit, the rock would morph into restraints, attempting to keep the Adept there for a moment as the Earth's Bastion rolled into his Defense Ball. The beetle rolled towards Cayman at high speed, hoping to slam into him like a cannonball!

Kool Kats
Nótt took the full brunt of Audrey's god-killing lightning, enhanced by Ryuji's own magic, and then was also subjected to the Soul Disruptor Wave. Delicious. Their foe was on the back foot, so all they had to do was push their advantage. However, the woman still had some fight left evidently, and fired a beam of energy at Troy. He skid to the left within his hamster ball, but the beam caught the outside, disrupting the flow and forcing the Vortex Ball out of commission.

The cult leader dropped to the ground, looking at his burnt sleeve, then looked up to glare at his opponent. Allison turned back into a sword and soared back to Troy's hand. The sword became caught in a Vortex Ball, the ring-like handle wrapped around the orb of momentum. This made the Soul Edge spin around like a helicopter blade with blurring quickness. Troy let the spinning sword build up speed for a moment before holding the sword arm up high, and in a flash of light, the one sword became a four-pronged shuriken made of hard light! The Kool Kats' most powerful attack; this light blade could cut through almost anything! Buildings, cars, people- you name it.

"Rest in pieces, princess."

The blue-haired narcissist spun once, and then flung the 10-foot-wide weapon at Nótt with deadly speed while she was still in her weakened state. And if the momentum of the attack wasn't stopped- whether going through the jotun or if she somehow dodged, it'd go on to hit Ryuji as well.

Axe
Axe quickly raised his shield again to block the sand spray towards his face and the burst - He did not want to take another chance given how that sand messed up his skin before.
"Who else would've done it? The other two are a little...busy!" While he was talking, he suddenly dashed forward to bash Magolor with his shield, jumping upwards in the process. Even assuming he missed, he prepared to spray the Monster Perfume into Magolor as soon as he was close.

Masaru
Masaru was not, in fact, able to dodge the Sacred sword, though thanks to his efforts and his focus, the most he got was a noticeably large cut across his arms and chest. Still stung, but it could have been worse. Luckily, Taskmaster helped him to deal with the follow-up, to where Takahara wasn't sure what the attack was supposed to be. Then Taskmaster complained to him in regards to what he would do to Shaymin if Masaru didn't knock it out.

"Yeesh, alright, alright - No need to threaten killing." He growled, before waving off to Aegislash (As if apologizing for what he was about to do) as he suddenly jumped up to the air.
Fleetfoot!
He suddenly dove down towards Shaymin, attempting to strike the gratitude pokémon with a disorienting kick of surprise. Miss or hit, he'd land on the ground, looking to Shaymin.
"Look, I get you're probably stronger than you look, but it'd really make me feel bad to fight someone so small and cute, so if you'd just forfeit that'd be nice, and I wouldn't have to hurt you?" He offered the pokémon, worried for it.

The Warlock
The Warlock was surprised to see the laser come for him, unsprisingly, but resolved to not let it destroy him. After all, he would not let some rat destroy him like it had destroyed his loyal Priests, spurning the Elder's power in favor of a chaotic rampage!
The Mind scorch continued it's path, ignoring the two priests before they were destroyed as they zoomed straight towards Lucario's head - Attempting to tear apart whatever mind was left in there! Meanwhile, The Warlock decided on something; Psionic energy flowing from his hands to the ground, summoning 3 spectral zombies once more around Mega Lucario - And this time, 2 of them immeadiately primed themselves to explode behind Lucario as they approached, while the third - to his right - attempted to bash downwards on Lucario both for damage and as a distraction.

And when the laser struck the Warlock, dust arose, and it looked like he may have been beaten for a second!
Key word; A second. For when that dust settled, a psionic barrier loomed around the Warlock, who had fallen to a knee, unthinking. He was being sustained by this barrier, but he wasn't able to do anything himself for now.

Ripper Roo

"Hehehehe! Uha?"

Ripper was halted when his tongue was snatched by Kassandra. It was a loose grip considering it's slick nature, but enough to anchor him to her for now and stop him from jumping away. As the ground became a brighter and brighter shade of red, Kassandra raised a blade to stab the tongue. Slick! the blade sliced right into a slit of the tongue! Ripper roo yeeped in pain as he tried to get his tongue off of the blade. Thankfully, his prayers would be answered.

BANG!

Roo was bashed by the side of his head by Alter's flying shield! This sent him flying in the opposite direction, his tongue snapping out of Kassandra's grip bouncing off the ground until he skidded back down on his butt, stars spinning around his head, his tongue limping like a beat dog.

However, it seemed he left a little surprised. The glowing red marks on the floor became too bright before-

KA-BOOM!

Big explosions went off from all the spaces the Roo had leaped on the ground before, causing an explosive chain reaction all around Kass!

Mega Lucario
Lucario snarled as he felt The Warlock shield himself with energy again, and summoning even more prey around him. As the two behind him prepared to explode, Lucario swung his paws, still exerting aura, behind himself.
Just then, the Mind Scorch reached the pokemon. The pokemon's already marred mind was assaulted. Pain was all he could process, as the pokemon was sent into a screaming fit. Yet, he did not keel over. Instead, his crazed mindset dealt with it the best way it knew: more violence.
The two zombies were blasted away, while the third netted a cheap shot on Mega Lucario head. In retaliation, Lucario roared, releasing aura blast after aura blast, intending to get rid of the offender. The pokemon was now on a mad rampage, sending waves and ripples of aura every which way in its agony, which homed in on any that got too close, focused on nothing but eliminating whatever was attacking its mind.

Magolor
"I dunno kid." Magolor replied as he dashed backwards from Axe's shield. He expected the kid to catch on to his sarcasm, but if he was this dumb, maybe he'd have some fun. "That Grazie is the one with sand magic."
Discreetly, he jabbed Grazie's shovel down behind himself. Even if the sand he threw on Axe didn't land on him directly, some still clung on his shield, allowing Magolor to control it and force the kid down in midair! At the same time, Magolor opened up a portal below Axe, which ejected a large, trans dimensional spike to stab through him as the sand forced him down!
"She's pretty helpful though." Magolor snickered.

Ryuji
With Audrey taken care of, Ryuji brought his attention back to Nott and Troy. It didn't look good for her, and he felt some responsibility for that.
"Hang on Nott!" Ryuji called, attempted to remember something. She had said something about teleporting, right? How would he...
"Skull!" Oracle yelled out a warning.
"Hang on! I'm-Whoa!" Ryuji glanced up to the sight of a massive shuriken of light! At least he figured it out.
Blue flames surrounded Ryuji and he put his guard up, bringing the Imprisoned Mjolnir against the shuriken. The two weapons collided, sending sparks flying as Ryuji barely held off the attack. Ryuji strained against the attack, welling as much of his strength as he could before he swung his Mjolnir with enough force to deflect Troy's attack right back at him!

Alter Knight
There was a bit of satisfaction as Alter Knight slammed her shield into the animal's ugly mug, but not much time to enjoy it when she heard a loud "FORE!" from the jester behind herself. Alter Knight smoothly shifted Libera, flipping it around and blocking her back from Jevil's strike. A burst of electricity sparked from the blade as they made contact, possibly shocking Jevil as Alter Knight was sent away. The thing hit surprisingly hard, but Alter Knight was no slacker herself. Letting the momentum take her, Alter Knight dove towards Ripper Roo, stabbing her blade down on the kangaroo while he sat there, dizzy. Even if she missed, lightning bolts would strike around her as she did so.

Jeice

Minos slapped away Jeice's wrist just as he fired the ki blast. Instead of punching a hole through the soul's chest or taking off his strange faceless head, the blast wide blast only struck part of Minos' shoulder. Minos, in return, unleashed a powerful energy attack directly on Jeice's neck.

The Red Magma was flung from Minos' grip, flying across the arena for the umpteenth time this battle and slamming into a wall. He slid to the ground, coughing and gagging. Energy burns and bruises covered his face and neck, and blood dripped from his nose and mouth. Breathing heavily, Jeice shakily got back to his feet.

This guy... this guy is like nothing I've ever seen before. The scouter has gone haywire too... A power level of 20,000 should not be that strong. I knew I should have switched to a newer scouter.

Clearly, this guy has some sort of reflection technique. My Crusher Ball may not be enough to get past that. He doesn't seem to have a face either. Can't tell what he's thinking. Pure power isn't working against him... So what would Burter do?

The constant battle against Minos was starting to take a toll on Jeice.
"Alright." Jeice said. "Let's see how you handle... this!"
Jeice suddenly attacked with ki blasts again. But instead of attack Minos, the Ginyu Force member sent them straight into the ground around himself! Smoke, dust, and debris was kicked up around him, obscuring the red alien.

Dagr

Dagr grinned as she watched Beam sink into the ground. Just like in the ocean, Dagr could see the fin circle her. So cool. How was he sensing her? Could he see through the ground? Sensing her vibrations? Dagr had heard legends that sharks could sense people's heartbeats, was that the case?
"Man oh man oh man..." Dagr said, tapping her foot excitedly. The fin vanished.

Dagr tensed, readying herself. Only one place he could come from.

Beam's demonic shark form burst from the ground, but Dagr was ready. The Jötun princess leapt into the air, her eagle boosting her up even further. Of course, Beam was moving much faster than her. But Dagr was quick to kick off Beam's snout to launch herself away from the shark demon's jaws. As she fell back to the earth, Dagr slashed with her poleax at Beam's side.

Dagr landed on the ground and began to run to the side.
"Hey, Beam!" Dagr called up to the shark demon. "Can you still understand me? What are you, I just gotta know!"

Weevil

Once again, the gnats evaded the Ultimate Tornado of Doom. Rex was not a surprise, he still had a monster on his field to defend him. But Kirin was most annoying. And they were both out of sight. Weevil drew another card, looking around. The Forest continued to burn, nearly half of it having been transformed into a Wasteland. He couldn't allow it to get burnt any further.
"Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, extinguish those flames." Weevil commanded. With a few massive wing beats, the flames were all but extinguished.

Suddenly, bursting from the foliage and lab, a dinosaur monster. Megazowler, with Raptor and Kirin riding on back. And he was commanding it to attack Weevil's moth. But now, Weevil was the one laughing.
"Well, well, well! Raptor, if you wanted to kill yourself you should have just thrown yourself on your sword and spared me the effort! You want to die? Fine by me!" Weevil said. He pointed to the trio.
"Go, my monster! Destroy them!"

The engines on the back of the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth revved up, and the powerful Ultimate Tornado of Doom blasted towards Megazowler head on!

Nótt

A miss. Most unfortunate. Nótt leaned on her lance, looks rather feeble as she watched Troy and didn't move. Allison turned back into a sword. So that was where she was. Nótt had seen magical swords before, but never one like that. A most unusual Duo Hero.

Nótt simply continued to breath and focus, watching Troy spin his sword inside these strange balls of wind magic he was able to summon. The sword turned to a multi-bladed weapon of light, spinning rapidly.
"Rest in pieces, Princess." Troy said, and flung the weapon at Nótt.

It was then the princess took action. The whole time, Nótt had been waiting and trying to regain her energy, or at least acclimate to her new condition. But if she did not act now, surely she would be defeated. Nótt weakly raised her lance... only for a sudden pair appear before her. Ryuji, or was it Skull? And his spirit he has summoned to fight alongside him. Nótt watched as Ryuji blocked the attack, using his massive mace to knock away the blades of light. The princess stared at Ryuji in surprise, before blushing and looking away.

"You have... my thanks." Nótt said to Ryuji. Leaning out from behind the delinquent, Nótt once again pointed her lance at Troy. Just like before, a beam of blue energy fired towards the cult leader!

Cayman
Kragg's mighty arms flung Cayman into the rock wall, the man about to leap off to get back into the fight---when the rock coiled around his body supernaturally, preventing him from escaping, Kragg approaching quickly while curled into a ball.

"My muscles... can't be restrained!"

Cracks in the stone began to form as the rock beetle closed in, and one of the Adept's legs broke free, Cayman quickly slamming it into the rock wall the second Kragg would strike-

KABOOM!

A massive explosion was released upon contact, threatening to engulf both fighters and send them flying into the air!

Pit
"Yeah, I totally can!" Was Pit's response to the "bigger gun" comment, though the fact that he had yet to land a shot on the real M.O.D.O.K. was getting annoying. Each one summoned a pair of laser cannons, different from the ones from earlier, and they were definitely no good. The moment they were about to fire, however, Palutena issued a warning to him.

"Real one is behind you! Hang on tight!"
"Huh- whoaaa!!"

The Power of Flight activated as per Palutena's command, Pit's wings glowing brightly as he was quickly dragged along the ground rather roughly, just under the lasers' trajectory. Thankfully for him, they weren't constant attacks like the blue lasers from earlier. His flight path brought him towards M.O.D.O.K., in prime position to attack from below---and he swapped weapons accordingly, his EZ Cannon quickly replaced by his Upperdash Arm, a gauntlet-like weapon with a large red disc attached to it. In an instant, the angel flew upwards, aiming to deliver a devastating uppercut!

KASSANDRA

The kangaroo's tongue was spliced by the hidden blade, but the misthios was not ignorant to the glowing red beneath her as her other forearm wiped away the saliva. Not a method of attack she was familiar with entirely, but a quick flip through her lengthy memory reserves reminded her of the Cyclops she'd battled. How he could smash the ground, and swells of earth would begin to pulse orange, before bursting with magma.

The way it grew reminded her of the Cyclops.

Retracting her blade, she dove forward, tucking into a roll, skidding along the stone. The eruptions were right on her rear, but as flames and force swept over her, she dug her heels into the ground, sandals skidding along the ground, before she stopped, her hood blasting down to fully reveal her face, one hand raising to stop a chunk of smoldering rock flung from the explosion, catching it, before she hurled it toward Jevil.

She could feel one of her adrenaline charges fill. Perfect. Filling a few more would be key to turning this battle from "easy" to a slaughter.

Her gaze lingered on each fighter, absorbing what they were doing, dialing in how they were fighting, silently studying them in her small moment of silence, before she dashed again for Jevil, aiming for a bisecting slash along his midsection.

M.O.D.O.K.

This stupid brat! He just kept dodging! The Man-Mind was unable to turn, locked onto the original trajectory of the Dual Hyper Beams - an unfortunate side effect. It was too powerful of a beam, he couldn't simply turn it this way or that, it would completely destabilize him. This forced M.O.D.O.K. to stay in place as Pit swept up from below, though the entire island Pit had been standing on was vaporized, erupting from within in a brilliant explosion that sent massive chunks of rock and lab equipment to every corner of the arena, including toward Minos and Jeice in their tussle.

The beam finally relented, hissing excess energy as the charges retracted, and Pit's attack landed, smacking into the underside of the Doomsday Chair, leaving a thin crack in its surface. The Man-Mind was knocked off-course, flaring his rockets to spin away, crashing through one of the lab walls. It crumbled behind him as he corrected himself, assessing his damages. That had dealt more damage to structural integrity than expected... he recorded that, creating a folder for Pit to store more information in.

"YOU CALL THAT A HIT? I'VE SEEN WAR JOURNALISTS STRIKE HARDER THAN THAT!" The Man-Mind taunted, cycling through his arsenal for something new to test out. "SO YOU CAN DODGE. GOOD FOR YOU - I'VE FOUGHT SPIDER-MAN! YOU THINK YOU'RE SOMETHING NEW!?"

M.O.D.O.K. cackled as he raised an arm, the air shimmering from his fingertips as he began to use his mind, projecting his powerful telepathy out to freeze Pit in-place, or at the very least, to make him sluggishly slow. This was simply to allow the Man-Mind to land more hits, as his rocket pods fired from behind, accompanied by his laser cannons revving back to life, before firing out more blue lasers.

With dodging hindered for the moment, M.O.D.O.K. was hoping the idiot would use those shields he had summoned before, and take those from the equation with the properties of the blue lasers. The rockets were aimed to move behind Pit, to blast him into the lasers, especially if he tried to hide behind his primitive club again. M.O.D.O.K. couldn't help but pat himself on the back (not literally, he couldn't do that) for his utter genius.

Ripper Roo

Spinny Spinny Spinny...

Ripper's head spun around and around, his vision every so slowly correcting itself as it came to see Alter Knight, lunging to make their move. Roo lapped the hurt part of his tongue with the gums of their mouth, noticeably disturbed by it. However, this didn't mean it was over.

As Alter positioned herself over Roo and descended, ripper slapped the ground with his feet, the floor turning a shade of green, bursting into a fit of laughter as the words 'Nitro' appeared on the ground.

"Hehehehehehe! Hoohoohoohaaaaa!"

That's when he slammed his face into the ground below, resulting in a big explosion that blew the roo up and away, who was shockingly unharmed, if a bit charred. The same couldn't be guaranteed for Alter Knight, who was flying down right to the epicenter.

Rex Raptor

The valiant and dashing Rex Raptor, atop his Jurassic steed, bravely charged into the unparalleled fray. Dame right at his side and sword in hand, he sought to put down the intimidating insect with his own monster. But a tempest lie in the path of our valiant hero, one that dared to eliminate them all, the insidious Weevil Underwood pulling the strings behind this attack. Wait. This isn't a storybook-

"In your dreams, big boy! I've got just the thing to take on your big bug! My answer?! Make it smaller! I play my spell card! Shrink! This card will cut your attack power and the size of your monster clean in half! Ha!!"

Suddenly, the massive insect was dramatically reduced in size, the powerful wind current also reducing to half of it's capacity, the thrusters on the bug kicking into overdrive to try and get as much power out as possible.

"And you're a fool to think I'm done with that! My answer to beat a big bug is to CRUSH it with an even bigger DINOSAUR! I play my last spell card: Megamorph! If I'm losing this game, then I get to double the attack of my monster I equip...and the size!!"

An arcane series of symbols began to revolve around Megazowler before they vanished inside of the creature. As opposed to the moth's shrinking, Megazowler doubled in size and power! Now it totaled to be even strong than the moth! Rex had to hang on tight as his steed grew tremendously, almost falling off during the transition.

Megazowler hit the current, the shield shaped head of its helping to secure its tamer and copilot from the wind currents, all the while charging more and more, gaining ground in a hurry. The Icing on the cake was Kirin, summoning forty a series of seals around the moth, prepping it's defenses to be further weakened, hoping for a 1 Hit K-O!

"Go! Megazowler! Crush that moth AND Weevil!!"

The mega sized Megazowler broke through the wind current, the tempest displacing as Megazowler went in for the kill shot: aiming to cleave through the moth and stamp Weevil to dust!

Weevil Underwood

This was bad. Very bad.

First off, Shrink. It halved the attack of Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, bringing it's once magnificent 4900 ATK points down to 2450. Bad, but at least it was still enough to take down Megazowler. Then the Megamorph spell card, boosting Megazowler's ATK points up to 3600. That meant 1,150 points of damage, leaving him with 850 life points. Survivable... at least until his Moth had been peppered with dozens and dozens of talismans. Weevil watched as the ATK points of his moth dropped again, leaving it with 1450 ATK points. Low enough for a 1 Hit K-O!

But Weevil wasn't giving up just yet.

"Trap Card, activate! Mimesis!" Weevil exclaimed. The remaining face-down card in Weevil's Spell and Trap zone flipped up, revealing another purple card. This one depicted a large green humanoid creature swapping places with a small butterfly. In a puff of powder, the floundering Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth disappeared.
"This card allows an Insect Monster I control to retreat to the hand when attacked, and I summon a new target to take it's place! Protect me, my Cocoon!" Weevil commanded. In the place of the Moth, the same massive purple cocoon from before appeared. It blocked the attack from Megazowler, actually causing the massive dino to stop in place before exploding in a burst of pixels.

"Raptor! You just lost us the match, I hope you're happy!" Weevil yelled up to Rex. The bug duelist then turned and bolted, running off into the forest as he drew another card.

Rex Raptor

He did it! Rex smashed Weevil's line of bugs in one shot, and sent The bug boy packin! Rex let out a loud, mocking laugh as he stood atop his towering dinosaur.

"Gyahahaha! How was THAT! Hardly invincible now are ya?!" He taunted before laughing some more.

He skunk back on a back spike of Megazowler, quite satisfied in himself. He smirked smugly and he crossed his legs, handing the sword back to Kirin.

"Ha, how was that? Strong enough for you? I totally squashed 'em. Now it's your turn to fulfill your end of the deal. Go on and forfeit. Who knows, maybe after all this is said and done, we can go hit the town. After all, Megazowler ain't the only thing than can double in size, nyahaha!"

His crudeness surely knew no bounds.

Audrey
The Hero, oh boy, she was pissed after she managed to finally recover. That punch from before, now that had done some bad damage - Audrey could feel a little red liquid drip out her nose for a moment before she wiped it away with her scarf. As she looked on, it wasn't clear if she could really see much else other than getting payback on Ryuji for that blow, as she chose to rush at the Persona user with a bloodthirsty scream - an ironic echo, given the rather peaceful nature of the Dreamscape that she had picked - channeling heavenly lightning from above into her blade before shooting it out at Ryuji before attempting to stab him right through with her blade!

Axe
Axe ignored his foe's statement, figuring that it didn't really matter - He may be rather dumb socially, but even he knew how bad it'd be if he actually listened to what Magolor said (He also did not pick up on any sarcasm or nuances in his voice.). Instead, he gritted and held his ground upon being forced to it, shaking and pushing the sand off his shield as quickly as possible, leaving himself open for a moment. He then felt something about the ground change beneath him, and he realised what was happening, quickly diving to the side as the spike came up. The back of his knee was grazed, but he tried to ignore the pain.
"You know, last tournament I went up against someone who made those weird...uh, portal thingies, you wanna know what happened to him?" He decided to taunt, leaning back as he stayed on the defense.

The Warlock
The Warlock felt a shudder of energy as he was released of the sustaining stasis - Soon spotting what was happening. Even for all his fanactism and...well, insanity, this caught him off guard. It almost brought back memories of that fateful day he destroyed the lab where...!
"No..." He muttered to himself, forcing himself to focus as he witnessed the destruction of his zombies (The ones attempting to explode launched out of range, which annoyed him further), as Lucario was firing off every way he could in rage - It was rather impressive, now that the Mindripper looked on, trying to his best to stay out of range, back to the wall.
"Oh, Elders...Grant me power...!" He prayed, rather loudly, before sticking out his hand. More psionic energy shot out, circling Lucario - And a large swirling rift appeared. It was as if death itself was pulling Lucario, aimed so the aura pokémon was in the center.

The Warlock knew he had only so long until Lucario caught on and killed him, so resolved to act quickly, pulling his hands to the sides outwards. The rift began to implode at the center - And if that blast did not kill, it would at least do even worse to Mega Lucario's rampaging mind.
Funny - That was just like what the Elders did to him that day - Cruel and Calculating.

Minos
His opponent survived even such a face-front blast of his serpent? How very impressive, indeed. His shoulder was hit by the blast, though considering he had his body forcibly removed so long ago and now was nothing but a manifestation of pure willpower, he could not feel any resulting injury. And with this opponent still being so lively and kicking despite his efforts, it seems he'd need to reinforce himelf and steel his resolve. With re-newed determination, Minos' ambient light toned into a deeper shade of blue as he set out to become more fierce and relentless with his attacks, crouching down as his opponent seemed to create a cover of smoke around them with their own energy blasts. With disappointment in himself, he spoke up with a more fierce voice, directing these words to himself for still not having won this bout yet.

" Weak.. "

With a trail of light following him and a small shockwave left behind at his original position, the Soul Survivor leapt forward, aiming to perform an explosive dropkick where he last saw his opponent stand, hoping the resulting explosion would be enough force to clear this shroud away from the immediate area and reveal his opponent once more. His voice held more vigour, more motivation.

" JUDGMENT! "

Mr. Miracle

His boxing glove retracted, as the sand hitched a ride on the coil and used his comedic weapon to move over to him and form into a hammer! Thinking quick, the magician put on his top hat again, holding the brim with both sides and crouched, bracing for impact. This wasn't gonna be a fun hit, but for the sake of his audience, he was gonna take as much pain as was needed to entertain them. It is the sole reason he became an entertainer, after all!

BONK!

The magic-casting hero stumbled back a bit, acting like a dizzy cartoon character before getting solid footing and shaking his head.. and raised his hat to reveal a yellow hard hat underneath, which he now briefly grabbed alongside his top hat to wipe non-existent sweat from his brow.

" Whew! Good thing I always wear my safety helmet! "

Putting on both headgears again, Terry reached a hand into his pocket.. and proceeded to pull out a full deck of cards, all held in one hand, with his other hand now on the topmost card. With a swift flick of his wrist, he took out four, all locked between his fingers. And with another quick flick, they were tossed at Grazie with the swiftness and precision as if he had thrown a knife or a hatchet. And given how sharp even cards can become when tossed at such velocity, they are assured to cut at least half as much as the real deal!

" Hope you like card tricks, I got plenty of aces up my sleeves! "

A mixed batch of collective groans and laughter was briefly heard from the audience with Hagen's extra-emphasized pun.

Shaymin
One pellet managed to sneak itself through his continued barrage of seeds, flicking against his head, not drawing any damage at all but it did cause Shaymin to jolt back from the sudden shock, which found him then.. leaping away from the Pokémon and to his ally. Unexpected, but there was no time to pause as a projectile was launched his way! ..and flew past him. Huh? Well that was odd. The Pokémon turned back to his opponent and was promptly blasted forward by an explosion, taking 2x damage from the fiery burst of damage, the back half of the Gratitude Pokémon becoming damaged and reducing his health quite a bit but far from enough to be given actual concern by him. The explosion pushed him forward, right into Masaru's kick, dealing even more damage to the Pokemon which was thankfully halved due to his flying typing.

With this quite rude introduction, his opponent's own ally approached him, asking if he could just forfeit. Genuinely, Shaymin thought about it. But.. he couldn't. What would his friends think of him if he were to just turn tail right here and now, in the first battle? No, he had to keep fighting. Using this brief intermission, Shaymin reached for his bag to find anything useful.. only to take out a Trap Scarf. Not exactly the most useful thing right now, but it might come in handy later. The Gratitude Pokémon wrapped the scarf around his neck, sending over a telepathic message to the human fighter in response to their request.

' Sorry, but no can do! My friends are cheering for me in the stands, I can't disappoint them like that! I'll promise not to go too hard on you if I can, though! That and well, you just kicked me in the face, and your ally almost killed me in one shot. Not exactly a good way to convince your foe to stand down, is it? '

And with that now settled, Shaymin started off fighting this opponent with an attack he had used earlier - pointing his head towards Masaru and begun to fire a hail of energy constructs in the form of plant-like seeds at the warrior, using Leech Seed in an attempt to gain a grasp of a energy flower necklace on the guy for draining purposes!

Magolor
Magolor genius didn't completely work, but he managed to harm Axe's leg a bit. Though to his disappointment, the kid didn't continue the debate, even for some fun banter. Maybe Miracle would've made for a better opponent...
Oh? Axe actually did speak, asking him something that sounded vaguely like a threat. Nonetheless, Magolor kept his composure, though he did cock at eyebrow at his sudden chattiness.
"Oh really?" Magolor responded casually. With his free hand, he seemed to absentmindedly swish a finger around, though with each swing, a ball of magic appeared and flew towards Axe from multiple directions.
"Do tell. Maybe it's my long lost brother from Halcandra." he said, laughing at his own joke.

Ryuji
"Skull! That was reckless, even for you!" Oracle continued to scold Ryuji.
Ryuji did not respond. Now wasn't the time for arguing, though he did respond to Nott with a quick "No problem."
He heard screaming. Ryuji whirled to see Audrey back for another pass, dead set of tearing him apart. Ryuji faced her dead on, running towards the girl with a roar of his own. Lightning struck at Ryuji, failing to deal any damage, though the sudden brightness was a bit disorienting. But Ryuji did not falter, shooting his arm forward and catching Audrey's own. He grunted in pain as he failed to do so perfectly, resulting in Audrey's sword cutting into his side, but he pushed through the pain, grabbing his shotgun with one hand at the same time.
"I'm all fired up! Eat this!" he yelled, firing the Megido Blaster point blank into the immobilized Audrey!

Mega Lucario
"Oh, Elders...Grant me power...!"
Mega Lucario turned to face The Warlock, his mind clearing up ever so slightly. He felt something try to pull him back, but he hardly cared, blasting even more aura behind himself. The force of the blast cratered the floor as Mega Lucario bursted forwards at an extreme speed, escaping the rift easily.
Aura trailed behind Lucario as, in a flash, he was in front of The Warlock. Putting every last bit of aura he had into the blow, Lucario slammed his paw over The Warlock, wanting to bash his skull in with every fiber of Mega Lucario's being. Even if he missed, Mega Lucario's aura would be forced into the floor, bursting all around in a massive, bright blue explosion.
And then...it was over.
Once the smoke cleared, Lucario could still be seen. No longer in his mega form, simply lying on the floor, having exerted every last bit of aura he had.
Without any energy to speak telepathically, Lucario spoke verbally for the first time in a while, before going unconscious.
"Lucar..io. [I'm sorry...little mudkip.]"

The sudden assault from Chai's robotic arm took Noah by complete surprise, as he suddenly found himself get launched up into the air. "I was too focused on his weapon, I should have realized that arm would have some more tricks." Noah cursed at himself silently. These weren't going to be simple fights, he was going to need to give it his all and not underestimate his opponents.

Needing to get back to the ground and fast, the soldier knew exactly where to aim for, his eyes set on Chai's guitar weapon rather than the musician himself. Suddenly, Noah's sword disappeared in flash of light, getting replaced with a gigantic hammer. "Giant Swing!" With a shout, Noah started to spin the hammer in a circle, shooting down to the ground towards the guitar, hoping to hit Chai as he got close enough.

Jeice

The scouter wasn't working correctly, that much was true. However, it was still working well enough to pick up Minos' power level. And when it could do that, it could tell Jeice exactly where Minos was. The Soul was fast, incredibly so. But Jeice was ready for it. While he couldn't see Minos through the dust cloud, the scouter could.

Using the dust cloud as cover, Jeice jumped to meet Minos mid air. He aimed to jump over the Soul's drop kick to knee him in the head!

Weevil Underwood

Weevil ran through the forest, quickly disappearing from the sight of Rex and Kirin. His Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, defeated. His Forest, halfway burnt to a Wasteland. His traps sprung, his Parasite destroyed. But if these chumps thought he was just going to go out like this, they were dead wrong. The bug duelist ducked behind a ruined wall, drawing yet another card. This was rather strange. Did he even have to stick to the rules here, in this battle? His opponents certain weren't using Duel Monster rules. Well, now wasn't the time to try it.

"That idiot. That absolute idiot." Weevil seethed. Looking at his cards, he grinned. "Well then, if at first you don't succeed..."
Weevil placed another two card on his duel disk. In a flash of light, Larvae Moth appeared once again. And in a moment, it had covered itself in the massive Cocoon of Evolution once again!

NEPH

And that had done it. One very simple thing, like turning allies against one another, and Weevil was on the run. The forest fire had consumed over half the arena before the Great Moth had stopped it. Now she saw Weevil high-tail it out of the laboratory.

< Now is the opportunity. Eliminate Rex himself. > Neph spoke to Kirin. Without divulging more, the Pokémon was on the move, gliding through the smoke, ash, and dead trees, careful to keep herself concealed by it all before the moment to strike came.

"Well then, if at first you don't succeed..."

Weevil was still trying to plot, and because of recalling the moth from before, he was now forced to play it again. His strategy: revive it before the others realized he was still in the game. Neph wasn't going to allow it.

She had slunk on after him, tracing him through his flee, before she observed him re-summon his Larvae Moth. With Kirin (hopefully handling Rex, the gardevoir raised an arm, and propelled a telekinetic push, sending the same ruined wall Weevil had taken cover behind toppling over him, before she raised her other hand aiming to rip the Larvae Moth from the ground (and from the debris) before using Mystical Fire on it, her special attack still greatly enhanced by Calm Mind, aiming to scorch it to a crisp.

Weevil Underwood

The wall behind Weevil suddenly began to collapse! Weevil shielded himself as the pieces of debris rain downed on him, and for a moment he was obscured in smoke. But when the dust settled... There he still stood. And besides him, shielding him from the debris and rubble, was a massive blue lady-bug like monster with a skull insignia on it's back. One of Weevil's face down monsters he had played earlier! And the one who had caused the wall to collapse?

Neph.

Weevil's eyes widened with surprise, before he scowled.
"I knew it would take more than a couple embers to defeat you!" Weevil exclaimed. Neph's psychic powers struck the Cocoon just as it was completed, and while the massive transforming insect was pushed back by the sheer power, it was not torn apart. A beam of magical flames shot towards the Cocoon, but this attack never reached the monster. Instead, the second face-down monster interposed itself between Neph and her target! The face-down card flipped up to reveal a long, disgusting winged worm monster.

"Kyahaha! Looks like Kiseitai got in the way!" Weevil exclaimed. A magical barrier appeared before the monster, making Neph's Mystic Fire attack vanish! The worm creature then flew towards Neph. It surrounded Neph, staying a little less than a foot away from her, before becoming slightly translucent.

"And why don't we try this? Go, Leghul!" Weevil said, playing another monster. A large, purple and yellow worm with pincers appeared before Weevil. The bug duelist gestured to Neph, running and standing between her and the Cocoon of Evolution.
"Attack!" Weevil exclaimed. Leghul abruptly vanished.

The insect monster then appeared suddenly behind Neph! It stabbed Neph with it's electro-pincers, in what was honestly a very weak attack. But, it was a magical attack that could bypass Neph's defenses!
